Abstract
Orychophragmus violaceus (OV) and chicory (Cichorium intybus L., CC) can be used as fresh or dry forage for animals. To determine whether OV and/or CC have beneficial effects on performance and egg quality, a total of 1212 28-wk-old Beijing You Chicken (BYC) laying hens with similar performance were randomly allocated to 4 groups with 3 replicate pens per group, and 101 birds per pen. The birds were fed a basal diet (control), the basal diet + OV (3.507 kg/d/pen), the basal diet + CC (2.525 kg/d/pen), and the basal diet + OV + CC (OVC, 1.7535 kg/d/pen OV + 1.2625 kg/d/pen CC) for 3 wks after one wk of adaptation. The results showed that egg-laying rate was not affected by OV, CC and OVC (p > 0.05), but weekly average egg mass was significantly increased by OV and CC (p < 0.05). The feed egg ratio in the CC group (2.82) was significantly lower than that in the other three groups (p < 0.05). The eggshell thickness (EST), albumen height (AH) and Haugh unit (HU) were decreased by OV and CC (p < 0.05); while yolk color (YC) was increased in the CC and OVC groups (p < 0.05). Egg grade was decreased by OV (p < 0.05). Sensory evaluation showed that there was a trend for increased YC in OV, CC and OVC (p = 0.089). Serum total protein was significantly lower in OV group than those in the control and CC group (p < 0.05); serum albumin content was significantly decreased in OV, CC and OVC groups (p = 0.006). Serum glutathione peroxidase activity in CC and OVC groups was significantly higher than that in the control group (p < 0.05). In conclusion, the present study suggests that CC had a better effect on the performance of the native laying hens than OV. The OV and CC affected egg quality, while YC was increased in CC and OVC groups. The OVC improved YC and serum antioxidative properties of native laying hens without affecting the performance.

Abstract
Phytoremediation is a low-cost, environmentally friendly, and sustainable technology that can utilize vegetation and microorganisms to avoid eutrophication and purifying water environment. The ability of five different living aquatic plants of nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and chemical oxygen demand (CODcr) removal were investigated in pilot scale constructed wetlands (CWs). Aquatic plant mixes significantly improved CODcr removal and plant tissue uptake of nitrogen and phosphorus. The wetland performance of mixed plantings was also influenced by the specific species. The mixed planting of Phragmites australi, Nymphaea Colorado and Myriophyllum verticillatum (PNM)When assessing pollutant removal in CWs, PNM performed better within mixtures, a possible synergistic effect, while TNV Typha orientalis, Nymphaea Colorado, and Vallisneria natans (TNV) performed poorly, a possible antagonist effect. The nutrient uptake within plant tissues byunder mixed plants planting was always ahad synergistic effect. Mixed plantingAquatic plant mixes significantly increased the rhizosphere microbial diversity and promoted the growth of functional denitrifying flora.

Abstract
AIM To validate the inter-equipment generality of the radiomics based on PET images to predict the EGFR mutation status of patients with non-small cell lung cancer. MATERIALS AND METHODS Patients were retrospectively collected in the departments of nuclear medicine of Heyi branch (Siemens equipment) and East branch (General Electric (GE) equipment) of the first affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou university. 5 predicting logistic regression models were established. The 1st one was trained and tested by the GE dataset; The 2nd one was trained and tested by the Siemens dataset; The 3rd one was trained and tested by the mixed dataset consisting of GE and Siemens. The 4th one was trained by GE and tested by Siemens; The 5th one was trained by Siemens and tested by GE. RESULTS For the 1st ∼ 5th models, the mean values of AUCs for training/testing datasets were 0.78/0.73, 0.74/0.72, 0.75/0.70, 0.74/0.65 and 0.68/0.63, respectively. CONCLUSION The AUCs of the models trained and tested on the datasets from the same equipment were higher than those for different equipment. The inter-equipment generality of the radiomics was not good enough in clinical practice.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effects of pulmonary embolism response team (PERT) on the quality of care and clinical outcomes in patients with acute pulmonary embolism. Methods: This was a single-center retrospective cohort study. Patients with acute pulmonary embolism treated in Beijing Anzhen Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University from July 5, 2016 to July 4, 2018 were enrolled. Patients with acute pulmonary embolism who had traditional care from July 5, 2016 to July 4, 2017 (before the implementation of PERT) were classified as PERT pre-intervention group. Patients with acute pulmonary embolism who started PERT care from July 5, 2017 to July 4, 2018 were divided into the PERT intervention group. The diagnosis and treatment information of patients was collected through the electronic medical record system, and the quality of care (time from visit to hospitalization, time from hospitalization to anticoagulation initiation, time from visit to definitive diagnosis, total hospital stay, time in intensive care unit (ICU), hospitalization cost) and clinical outcomes (in-hospital mortality and incidence of bleeding) were compared between the two groups. Results: A total of 210 patients with acute pulmonary embolism, aged (63.3±13.7) years old, with 102 (48.6%) female patients were included. There were 108 cases in PERT pre-intervention group and 102 cases in PERT intervention group. (1) Quality of diagnosis and treatment: there was a statistical significance between the two groups in the distribution of time from diagnosis to definitive diagnosis (P=0.002). Among them, the rate of completion of diagnosis within 24 hours after PERT intervention was higher than that before PERT intervention (80.4% (45/56) vs. 50.0% (34/68), P<0.001). The time from treatment to hospitalization was shorter than that before PERT intervention (180.0 (60.0, 645.0) min vs. 900.0 (298.0, 1 806.5) min, P<0.001). The total length of hospital stay was less than that before PERT intervention (12 (10, 14) d vs. 14 (11, 16) d, P=0.001). There was no statistical significance in the time from hospitalization to anticoagulant therapy, the length of ICU stay and hospitalization cost between the two groups (all P>0.05). (2) Clinical outcomes during hospitalization: There was no statistical significance in the incidence of hemorrhage and mortality between the two groups during hospitalization (both P>0.05). Conclusion: PERT has improved the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute pulmonary embolism and significantly shortened the total hospital stay, but its impact on clinical outcomes still needs further study.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effect of preemptive analgesia with ibuprofen on postoperative pain following single posterior tooth implantation, aiming to provide a clinical reference for its application. Methods: A multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled parallel-group trial was conducted. A total of 82 participants were included in the trial, meeting the eligibility criteria from April 2022 to April 2024 at the Capital Medical University School of Stomatology (40 cases), Beijing TianTan Hospital, Capital Medical University (22 cases), Beijing Chao-Yang Hospital, Capital Medical University (20 cases). Participants were randomly assigned in a 1∶1 ratio to either the ibuprofen group or the control group, with each group comprising 41 individuals. Participants in the ibuprofen group received 300 mg of sustained-release ibuprofen capsules orally 15 min before surgery, while the control group received a placebo. Both groups received the same postoperative analgesic regimen for 3 days. Pain scores were assessed using the Numerical rating scale (NRS) at 30 min, 4 h, 6 h, 8 h, 24 h, 48 h, and 72 h postoperatively, and the additional use of analgesic medication was recorded from days 4 to 6 postoperatively. Results: A total of 82 participants were initially enrolled in the study, with 7 dropouts (4 from the control group and 3 from the ibuprofen group), resulting in 75 participants (37 in the control group and 38 in the ibuprofen group) completing the trial. There were no reports of adverse events such as nausea or vomiting among the participants. The ibuprofen group exhibited significantly lower pain scores at 4 h, 6 h and 8 h [1.0 (0.0, 2.0), 1.0 (0.0, 2.0), 1.5 (0.0, 3.0) ] postoperatively compared to the control group 4 h, 6 h and 8 h [2.0 (1.0, 3.0), 3.0 (1.5, 4.0), 2.0 (1.0, 4.0)] (Z=-1.99, P=0.047; Z=-3.01, P=0.003; Z=2.10, P=0.036). The proportions of patients requiring additional analgesic medication between days 4 and 6 post-surgery were 18.4% (7/38) in the ibuprofen group and 27.0% (10/37) in the control group, with no significant difference (χ2=0.79, P=0.373). The median additional medication usage postoperatively was [0.0 (0.0, 0.0) pills] in the ibuprofen group and [0.0 (0.0, 1.0) pills] in the control group, with no significant difference (Z=-0.78, P=0.439). Conclusions: Preemptive analgesia with ibuprofen effectively reduces postoperative pain following tooth implantation, representing a safe and effective perioperative pain management strategy.

Abstract
Linoleic acid (LA) not only functions as an essential nutrient, but also profoundly modulates oxidative stress and inflammatory response. However, the potential mechanisms have not been adequately researched. Hence, this study examined the potential pharmacological roles of LA and the underlying mechanisms in mice with lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-associated acute liver injury (ALI). The results indicated that treatment with LA alleviated the histopathological abnormalities in the hepatic and plasma levels of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), and glutathione-S-transferase (GST) in mice with LPS exposure. In addition, LA inhibited the LPS-associated generation of proinflammatory factors, such as tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha) and interleukin-6 (IL-6), and downregulated the hepatic myeloperoxidase (MPO) level. In addition, the administration of LA resulted in a reduction in hepatic malondialdehyde (MDA) levels and an elevation in liver superoxide dismutase (SOD), reduced glutathione (GSH), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-PX) levels. Further investigations revealed that LA promoted the expression of nuclear factor E2-related factor (Nrf2) and NAD(P)H: quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1). In addition, the beneficial outcomes of LA on LPS-induced acute liver failure were revered when Nrf2 was pharmacologically suppressed by ML385. These experimental results demonstrated that LA supplementation attenuated LPS-associated acute hepatic impairment in mice via the activation of Nrf2.

Abstract
Rapid and accurate diagnostic technologies are crucial for early detection and diagnosis of diseases. Electrowetting-on-dielectric digital microfluidics, with its high-precision detection and high-throughput screening capabilities, significantly enhances the accuracy and efficiency in early disease diagnosis and personalized treatment, enabling swift disease detection and widespread screening. This article provides a comprehensive review of the working principles and fabrication processes of digital microfluidic chips based on electrowetting on dielectric method. It details the latest research progress in the areas of nucleic acids, proteins, and cells, organizes the commercialization of digital microfluidics technology, and finally discusses the current challenges and future directions of digital microfluidic chips.

Abstract
The first search for singly produced narrow resonances decaying to three well-separated hadronic jets is presented. The search uses proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 138 fb^{-1} at sqrt[s]=13 TeV, collected at the CERN LHC. No significant deviations from the background predictions are observed between 1.75 and 9.00 TeV. The results provide the first mass limits on a right-handed boson Z_{R} decaying to three gluons and on an excited quark decaying via a vector boson to three quarks, as well as updated limits on a Kaluza-Klein gluon decaying via a radion to three gluons.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To determine whether gestational cardiovascular health (CVH) during the first trimester is associated with a risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes. STUDY DESIGN A multicentre prospective cohort; part of the China birth cohort study. METHODS Pregnant women were recruited at 6-13+6 gestation weeks and followed to delivery to identify pregnancy outcomes. Gestational CVH in the first trimester was assessed using five CVH metrics: body mass index, smoking, blood pressure, glucose, and lipids. Multilevel modified Poisson regression models calculated the relative risks (RRs) and 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) of gestational CVH for adverse pregnancy outcomes. RESULTS Among 56,852 pregnant women, the mean score for gestational CVH during the first trimester was 9.1. Adjusting for confounding factors, each 1-point decrease in the total gestational CVH score significantly increased the risk of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (RR = 1.682, 95% CI: 1.624-1.743), gestational diabetes mellitus (RR = 1.405, 95% CI: 1.384-1.426), preterm birth (RR = 1.184, 95% CI: 1.174-1.195), large for gestational age (RR = 1.224, 95% CI: 1.199-1.250), caesarean delivery (RR = 1.073, 95% CI: 1.049-1.097), and low Apgar score (RR = 1.131, 95% CI: 1.003-1.277) significantly increased. Meanwhile, the risk of small for gestational age decreased (SGA; RR = 0.922, 95% CI: 0.898-0.946). Worsened CVH categories significantly increased the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, excluding SGA. CONCLUSIONS Poor gestational CVH in the first trimester significantly increases the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, emphasising the need for early improvement in gestational CVH.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The amide proton transfer-weighted (APTw) imaging for kidney diseases is important. However, the breathing patterns on APTw imaging remains unexplored. PURPOSE This study aimed to investigate the effects of intermittent breath-hold (IBH) and free breathing (FB) on renal 3D-APTw imaging. STUDY TYPE Healthy volunteers were enrolled prospectively, and renal clear cell carcinoma (RCCC) patients were included retrospectively. POPULATION 58 healthy volunteers and 10 RCCC patients. FIELD STRENGTH/SEQUENCE 3-T, turbo spin echo, and fast field echo. ASSESSMENT 3D-APTw imaging was scanned using the IBH and FB methods in volunteers and using the IBH method in RCCC patients. The image quality was evaluated by three observers according to the 5-point Likert scale. Optimal images rated at three points or higher were used to measure the APT values. STATISTICAL ANALYSIS The measurement repeatability was assessed using the intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC) and the Bland-Altman plot. The APT values were analyzed using McNemar's test, one-way analysis of variance, and t test. RESULTS 50 healthy volunteers and 8 RCCC patients were enrolled. Renal 3D-APTw imaging using the IBH method revealed a higher success rate (88% vs 78%). The ICCs were excellent in the IBH group (ICCs > 0.74) and were good in the FB group (ICCs < 0.74). No significant differences in the APT values among various zones using the IBH (P = 0.263) or FB method (P = 0.506). The mean APT value using the IBH method (2.091% ± 0.388%) was slightly lower than the FB method (2.176% ± 0.292%), but no significant difference (P = 0.233). The APT value of RCCC (4.832% ± 1.361%) was considerably higher than normal renal using the IBH method. CONCLUSIONS The study demonstrated that the IBH method substantially increased the image quality of renal 3D-APTw imaging. Furthermore, APT values may vary between normal and tumor tissues. Abstract
BACKGROUND PD-L1 tumor proportion score (TPS) and tumor mutational burden (TMB) are key predictive biomarkers for immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICI) efficacy in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Data on their variation across multiple samples are limited. METHODS Patients with NSCLC and multiple PD-L1 TPS and/or TMB assessments were included. Clinicopathologic and genomic data were analyzed according to PD-L1 and TMB variation. RESULTS In total, 402 PD-L1 sample pairs and 413 TMB sample pairs were included. Concordance between pairs was moderate for PD-L1 (ρ=0.53, P<0.0001) and high for TMB (ρ=0.80, P<0.0001). Shorter time between biopsies correlated with higher concordance in PD-L1, but not in TMB. Major increases (ΔTPS≥+50%) and decreases (ΔTPS≤-50%) in PD-L1 were observed in 9.7% and 8.0% of cases, respectively. PD-L1, but not TMB, decreased with intervening ICI (P=0.02). Acquired copy number loss of CD274, PDCD1LG2, and JAK2 were associated with major decrease in PD-L1 (q<0.05). Among patients with multiple PD-L1 assessments before ICI, cases where all samples had a PD-L1 ≥1%, compared to cases with at least one sample with PD-L1 <1% and another with PD-L1 ≥1%, achieved improved objective response rate and progression-free survival (PFS). Among patients with at least one PD-L1 <1% and one ≥1% before ICI, cases where the most proximal sample was PD-L1 ≥1% had longer median PFS compared to cases where the most proximal PD-L1 was <1%. Among patients with multiple TMB assessments before ICI, patients with a TMB ≥10 mut/Mb based on the most recent assessment, as compared to those with a TMB <10 mut/Mb, achieved improved PFS and OS to ICI; instead, no differences were observed when patients were categorized using the oldest TMB assessment. CONCLUSION Despite intrapatient concordance in PD-L1 and TMB, variation in these biomarkers can influence ICI outcomes, warranting consideration for reassessment prior to ICI initiation when feasible.

Abstract
Precision measurements by the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS) on the International Space Station of the deuteron (D) flux are presented. The measurements are based on 21×10^{6} D nuclei in the rigidity range from 1.9 to 21 GV collected from May 2011 to April 2021. We observe that over the entire rigidity range the D flux exhibits nearly identical time variations with the p, ^{3}He, and ^{4}He fluxes. Above 4.5 GV, the D/^{4}He flux ratio is time independent and its rigidity dependence is well described by a single power law ∝R^{Δ} with Δ_{D/^{4}He}=-0.108±0.005. This is in contrast with the ^{3}He/^{4}He flux ratio for which we find Δ_{^{3}He/^{4}He}=-0.289±0.003. Above ∼13 GV we find a nearly identical rigidity dependence of the D and p fluxes with a D/p flux ratio of 0.027±0.001. These unexpected observations indicate that cosmic deuterons have a sizable primarylike component. With a method independent of cosmic ray propagation, we obtain the primary component of the D flux equal to 9.4±0.5% of the ^{4}He flux and the secondary component of the D flux equal to 58±5% of the ^{3}He flux.

Abstract
In pursuing the benefits of natural enzyme catalysts while overcoming their limitations, we find metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), renowned for their highly tunable functionalities, stand out in biomimetic applications. We used unsupervised machine learning on density functional theory-computed vibrational infrared and Raman spectral features to screen 300 Zn-MOFs for CO2 conversion, similar to carbonic anhydrase (CA). Our findings confirmed that MOFs with spectroscopic attributes closely resembling those of CA hold the potential for replicating CA's electronic and catalytic properties. Unlike previous studies that relied on heuristic or trial-and-error methods and focused on geometric configurations, our research uses vibrational spectral features to explore structure-property relationships, making them more accessible through spectroscopy. Moreover, we highlight vibrational spectral features as efficient carriers for highly dimensional chemical information, enabling the simultaneous optimization of multiple performance parameters. These findings pave the way for pioneering designs of enzyme-mimetic MOFs and concurrently expand the application scope of spectroscopic tools in biomimetic catalysis.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Observational studies have reported structural changes in the brains of patients with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19); it remains unclear whether these associations are causal. AIM We evaluated the causal effects of COVID-19 susceptibility, hospitalization and severity on cortical structures. DESIGN Mendelian randomization (MR) study. METHODS Data on the different COVID-19 phenotypes were obtained from the latest large-scale genome-wide association study (R7) of the COVID-19 Host Genetics Initiative. Brain structure data, including cortical thickness (TH) and surface area (SA), were obtained from the ENIGMA Consortium. Additionally, we employed the round 5 dataset released in January 2021 as the validation cohort. The inverse-variance weighted (IVW) method was used as the primary analysis in MR. Sensitivity analyses were conducted to evaluate heterogeneity and pleiotropy. We performed enrichment analysis on the MR analyses that passed the sensitivity analysis filtering. RESULTS After IVW and sensitivity analyses, we observed causal associations between COVID-19 susceptibility and rostral middle frontal SAw (P = 0.0308, β = -39.1236), cuneus THw (P = 0.0170, β = -0.0121), medial orbitofrontal THw (P = 0.0002, β = 0.0225), postcentral THw (P = 0.0217, β = -0.0106), temporal pole THw (P = 0.0077, β = 0.0359), medial orbitofrontal SAnw (P = 0.0106, β = -24.0397), medial orbitofrontal THnw (P = 0.0007, β = 0.0232), paracentral SAnw (P = 0.0483, β = -20.1442), rostral middle frontal SAnw (P = 0.0368, β = -81.9719) and temporal pole THnw (P = 0.0429, β = 0.0353). COVID-19 hospitalization had causal effects on medial orbitofrontal THw (P = 0.0053, β = 0.0063), postcentral THw (P = 0.0143, β = -0.0042), entorhinal THnw (P = 0.0142, β = 0.0142), medial orbitofrontal THnw (P = 0.0147, β = 0.0065) and paracentral SAnw (P = 0.0119, β = -7.9970). COVID-19 severity had causal effects on rostral middle frontal SAw (P = 0.0122, β = -11.8296), medial orbitofrontal THw (P = 0.0155, β = 0.0038), superior parietal THw (P = 0.0291, β = -0.0021), lingual SAnw (P = 0.0202, β = -11.5270), medial orbitofrontal THnw (P = 0.0290, β = 0.0039), paracentral SAnw (P = 0.0180, β = -5.7744) and pars triangularis SAnw (P = 0.0151, β = -5.4520). CONCLUSION Our MR results demonstrate a causal relationship between different COVID-19 phenotypes and cortical structures.

Abstract
Objective: To establish collection methods and laboratory testing methods for qualitative and quantitative analysis of 9 typical active pharmaceutical ingredient in the workplace air. Methods: In December 2021, a mixed solution of nine analytes was prepared and then dispersed in aerosol state to simulate sampling. Glass fiber filter membrane was selected as air collector and collected active pharmaceutical ingredient in the air at a rate of 2.0 L/min for 15 minutes. Then, the obtained filter membrane samples were eluted with 25%ACN/75%MeOH. Finally, the eluent was qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed with liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometer. Results: This method could effectively collect active pharmaceutical ingredient in the air, with an average sampling efficiency of more than 98.5%. The linear correlation coefficient r was greater than 0.9990. The lower limit of quantification for each analyte ranged from 0.6~500.0 ng/ml, and the average recovery rate ranged from 97.6%~102.5%. Conclusion: This method could simultaneously collect 9 active pharmaceutical ingredient in the workplace air, and could provide accurate qualitative and quantitative analysis in subsequent laboratory tests.

Abstract
We report a search for time variations of the solar ^{8}B neutrino flux using 5804 live days of Super-Kamiokande data collected between May 31, 1996, and May 30, 2018. Super-Kamiokande measured the precise time of each solar neutrino interaction over 22 calendar years to search for solar neutrino flux modulations with unprecedented precision. Periodic modulations are searched for in a dataset comprising five-day interval solar neutrino flux measurements with a maximum likelihood method. We also applied the Lomb-Scargle method to this dataset to compare it with previous reports. The only significant modulation found is due to the elliptic orbit of the Earth around the Sun. The observed modulation is consistent with astronomical data: we measured an eccentricity of (1.53±0.35)%, and a perihelion shift of (-1.5±13.5) days.

Abstract
The LHCb Collaboration measures production of the exotic hadron χ_{c1}(3872) in proton-nucleus collisions for the first time. Comparison with the charmonium state ψ(2S) suggests that the exotic χ_{c1}(3872) experiences different dynamics in the nuclear medium than conventional hadrons, and comparison with data from proton-proton collisions indicates that the presence of the nucleus may modify χ_{c1}(3872) production rates. This is the first measurement of the nuclear modification factor of an exotic hadron.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the feasibility of constructing the risk index of Echinococcus infection based on the classification of echinococcosis lesions, so as to provide insights into the management of echinococcosis. METHODS The imaging data of echinococcosis cases were collected from epidemiological surveys of echinococcosis in China from 2012 to 2016, and the detection of incident echinococcosis cases was captured from the annual echinococcosis prevention and control reports across provinces (autonomous regions) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps in China from 2017 to 2022. After echinococcosis lesions were classified, a risk index of Echinococcus infection was constructed based on the principle of discrete distribution marginal probability and multi-group classification data tests. The correlation between the risk index of Echinococcus infection and the detection of incident echinococcosis cases was evaluated in the provinces (autonomous regions and corps) from 2017 to 2022, and the correlations between the short and medium-term risk indices and between the medium and long-term risk indices of Echinococcus infection were examined using a univariate linear regression model. RESULTS A total of 4 014 echinococcosis cases in China from 2012 to 2016 were included in this study. The short-, medium- and long-term risk indices of E. granulosus infection varied in echinococcosis-endemic provinces (autonomous regions and corps) of China (χ2 = 4.12 to 708.65, all P values < 0.05), with high short- (0.058), medium- (0.137) and long-term risk indices (0.104) in Tibet Autonomous Region, and the short-, medium- and long-term risk indices of E. multilocularis infection varied in echinococcosis-endemic provinces (autonomous regions and corps) of China (χ2 = 6.74 to 122.60, all P values < 0.05), with a high short-term risk index in Sichuan Province (0.016) and high medium- (0.009) and long-term risk indices in Qinghai Province (0.018). There were no significant correlations between the risk index of E. granulosus infection and the detection of incident cystic echinococcosis cases during the study period (t = -0.518 to 2.265, all P values > 0.05), and strong correlations were found between the risk indices of E. multilocularis infection and the detection of incident alveolar echinococcosis cases (including mixed type) in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, during the period from 2017 through 2020, from 2017 through 2021, from 2017 through 2022 (all r values > 0.7, t = 2.521 to 3.692, all P values < 0.05). Linear regression models were established between the risk index of E. multilocular infection and the detection of alveolar echinococcosis cases (including mixed type), and the models were all statistically significant (b = 0.214 to 2.168, t = 2.458 to 3.692, F = 6.044 to 13.629, all P values < 0.05). The regression coefficients for the correlations between the medium- and short-term, and between the long- and medium-term risk indices of E. granulosus infection were 2.339 and 0.765, and the regression coefficients for the correlations between the medium- and short-term, and between the long- and medium-term risk indices of E. multilocular infection were 0.280 and 1.842, with statistical significance seen in both the regression coefficients and regression models (t = 16.479 to 197.304, F = 271.570 to 38 928.860, all P values < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS The risk index of Echinococcus infection has been successfully established based on the classification of echinococcosis lesions, which may provide insights into the prevention and control, prediction, diagnosis and treatment, and classified management of echinococcosis.

Abstract
Using (10.087±0.044)×10^{9} J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring, the processes Λp→Λp and Λ[over ¯]p→Λ[over ¯]p are studied, where the Λ/Λ[over ¯] baryons are produced in the process J/ψ→ΛΛ[over ¯] and the protons are the hydrogen nuclei in the cooling oil of the beam pipe. Clear signals are observed for the two reactions. The cross sections in -0.9≤cosθ_{Λ/Λ[over ¯]}≤0.9 are measured to be σ(Λp→Λp)=(12.2±1.6_{stat}±1.1_{syst}) and σ(Λ[over ¯]p→Λ[over ¯]p)=(17.5±2.1_{stat}±1.6_{syst}) mb at the Λ/Λ[over ¯] momentum of 1.074 GeV/c within a range of ±0.017 GeV/c, where the θ_{Λ/Λ[over ¯]} are the scattering angles of the Λ/Λ[over ¯] in the Λp/Λ[over ¯]p rest frames. Furthermore, the differential cross sections of the two reactions are also measured, where there is a slight tendency of forward scattering for Λp→Λp, and a strong forward peak for Λ[over ¯]p→Λ[over ¯]p. We present an approach to extract the total elastic cross sections by extrapolation. The study of Λ[over ¯]p→Λ[over ¯]p represents the first study of antihyperon-nucleon scattering, and these new measurements will serve as important inputs for the theoretical understanding of the (anti)hyperon-nucleon interaction.

Abstract
A combination of searches for a new resonance decaying into a Higgs boson pair is presented, using up to 139 fb^{-1} of pp collision data at sqrt[s]=13 TeV recorded with the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The combination includes searches performed in three decay channels: bb[over ¯]bb[over ¯], bb[over ¯]τ^{+}τ^{-}, and bb[over ¯]γγ. No excess above the expected Standard Model background is observed and upper limits are set at the 95% confidence level on the production cross section of Higgs boson pairs originating from the decay of a narrow scalar resonance with mass in the range 251 GeV-5 TeV. The observed (expected) limits are in the range 0.96-600 fb (1.2-390 fb). The limits are interpreted in the type-I two-Higgs-doublet model and the minimal supersymmetric standard model, and constrain parameter space not previously excluded by other searches.

Abstract
The patients with temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) admitted in the Department of Neurology, Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University from June 2009 to February 2012 were prospectively enrolled. The diffusion tensor imaing was performed on the patients at the time of enrollment and 3 years later. The fractional anisotropy (FA) values of the white matter connecting fibers(bilateral hooked, arcuate, cingulate, and superior longitudinal tracts), the connecting fibers of both hemispheres(anterior union, anterior callosal forceps, posterior forceps, and bilateral fornix), and fibers of perirhinal cortices system(bilateral radiating crown and anterior limb of the internal capsule) were measured by the region of interest method. The severity of epilepsy was evaluated using the Veterans Administration Seizure Type and Frequency Rating Scale(VA-2) and National Hospital Seizure Severity Scale (NHS3). A total of 51 patients with TLE were screened, with 27 patients completing the 3-year follow-up. There were 13 males and 14 females with an age of (32±11) years and a follow-up duration of (39.1±1.1) months. During the follow-up, 6 patients had increased/unchanged NHS3 or VA-2 scores, while 21 patients had decreased scores. Three years later, the FA values of the bilateral arcuate fasciculus, the right superior longitudinal fasciculus, the right radial coronal and corpus callosum anterior forceps in TLE patients decreased compared to baseline(P<0.05). However, compared to the patients with decreased VA-2 scores during the follow-up, the degree of increase in FA values (ΔFA, follow-up FA value-baseline FA value) of the ipsilateral hook bundle caused by epilepsy was more significant in the group with increased/unchanged VA-2 scores (decreased score group vs increased/unchanged score group:-0.032±0.063 vs 0.018±0.043, t=2.305, P=0.035). The value of ΔFA in epileptic patients with increased/unchanged NHS3 scores (0.075±0.113) was higher compared to those with decreased scores (-0.079±0.099, t=2.804, P=0.010). Correlation analysis also showed the changes in FA values of epileptic lateral fasciculus (r=0.503, P=0.009) and arcuate fasciculus (r=0.602, P=0.001)were positively correlated with the changes in VA-2 and HNS3 scores, respectively. The seizure severity in patients with TLE was closely associated with the microstructure changes in the frontal and temporal white matter, especially the arcuate and uncinate tracts, on the same side that caused seizures, which may indicate the white matter remodeling and abnormal network reformation associated with seizures.

Abstract
Surgical navigation, despite its potential benefits, faces challenges in widespread adoption in clinical practice. Possible reasons include the high cost, increased surgery time, attention shifts during surgery, and the mental task of mapping from the monitor to the patient. To address these challenges, a portable, all-in-one surgical navigation system using augmented reality (AR) was developed, and its feasibility and accuracy were investigated. The system achieves AR visualization by capturing a live video stream of the actual surgical field using a visible light camera and merging it with preoperative virtual images. A skull model with reference spheres was used to evaluate the accuracy. After registration, virtual models were overlaid on the real skull model. The discrepancies between the centres of the real spheres and the virtual model were measured to assess the AR visualization accuracy. This AR surgical navigation system demonstrated precise AR visualization, with an overall overlap error of 0.53 ± 0.21 mm. By seamlessly integrating the preoperative virtual plan with the intraoperative field of view in a single view, this novel AR navigation system could provide a feasible solution for the use of AR visualization to guide the surgeon in performing the operation as planned.

Abstract
This retrospective study aimed to compare the accuracy of patient-specific implants (PSI) versus mandible-first computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) splints for maxilla repositioning in orthognathic surgery of skeletal Class II malocclusion patients. The main predictor was the surgical method (PSI vs. splints), with the primary outcome being the discrepancy in maxilla centroid position, and secondary outcomes being translation and orientation discrepancies. A total of 82 patients were enrolled (70 female, 12 male; mean age 25.5 years), 41 in each group. The PSI group exhibited a median maxillary position discrepancy of 1.25 mm (interquartile range (IQR) 1.03 mm), significantly lower than the splint group's 1.98 mm (IQR 1.64 mm) (P < 0.001). In the PSI group, the largest median translation discrepancy was 0.74 mm (IQR 1.17 mm) in the anteroposterior direction, while the largest orientation discrepancy was 1.83° (IQR 1.63°) in pitch. In the splint group, the largest median translation discrepancy was 1.14 mm (IQR 1.37 mm) in the anteroposterior direction, while the largest orientation discrepancy was 3.03° (IQR 2.11°) in pitch. In conclusion, among patients with skeletal Class II malocclusion, the application of PSI in orthognathic surgery yielded increased precision in maxillary positioning compared to mandible-first CAD/CAM splints.
