Abstract
Objective: To analyze the current situation and existing problems of the technical support system for occupational disease prevention and control in china, and to put forward development measures and suggestions. Methods: In January 2021, a cluster method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on the relevant institutions of national occupational disease prevention and control technology support. Mainly investigate the development of occupational disease prevention and control centers (institutes) , municipal and county-level disease control centers, occupational health examination, occupational disease diagnosis and occupational health intermediary services. Data are described by number and composition ratio (%) , and descriptive analysis is made on the data. Results: As of December 2020, there were 140 occupational disease prevention and control centers (institutes) nationwide, an increase of 65 compared with 2019. There were 323 municipal and 2704 county-level centers for disease control and prevention, accounting for 97.00% (323/333) and 95.01% (2704/2846) of the total number of centers for disease control and prevention. There were 4520 occupational health examination institutions, 587 occupational disease diagnosis institutions, 1093 occupational health technical service institutions and 623 radiological health technical service institutions. Conclusion: The supporting force and ability of occupational disease prevention and control technology need to be improved, and the strength of occupational disease prevention and control hospitals (institutes) is still weak; The municipal and county-level centers for disease control and prevention need to further improve their conditions and capabilities; The number of occupational health examination, occupational disease diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation institutions was relatively insufficient.

Abstract
Two new cadinane-type sesquiterpenoid glycosides, dryopteristerpeneA (1) and dryopteristerpeneB (2), were isolated from the aqueous extract of Dryopterisfragrans. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic data analysis and electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited inhibition on nitric oxide production in lipopolysaccharide induced RAW 264.7 macrophages with their IC50 values of 60.5 and 59.8 μM, respectively.

Abstract
AIM: To evaluate efficacy of microcatheter-assisted trabeculotomy (MAT) in eyes with secondary glaucoma after congenital cataract surgery and explore its correlation with the different degree of trabeculotomy.
METHODS: A retrospective analysis was conducted on patients who underwent the said procedure between September 2019 and September 2020. The patients were classified into two groups according to the degree of trabeculotomy (group 1: ≤240-degree; group 2: 240–360-degree). The intraocular pressure (IOP) and anti-glaucoma drugs before and after operation was collected during the 12-month follow-up.
RESULTS: Totally 27 eyes of 25 patients were included: 11 (40.7%) eyes in group 1 and 16 (59.3%) eyes in group 2. The mean IOP of all patients was 34.67±9.18 mm Hg preoperatively and 8.74±4.32, 9.95±5.65, 14.39±5.30, 16.02±4.37, 15.82±3.28, and 16.19±3.56 mm Hg 1d, 1wk, 1, 3, 6, and 12mo after surgery, respectively. In all patients, there were significant differences in IOP at each time point (F=65.614, P<0.01). In each group, IOP after surgery was lower than that before surgery (all P<0.01), but there was no difference in the rate of IOP reduction between the two groups (P=0.246). Furthermore, the amount of anti-glaucoma medications reduced to 0.30±0.67 (0–2) at 12mo from 2.63±0.49 (2–3) preoperatively (P<0.01), and there was no difference between the two groups (P>0.05). At the end of follow-up, the partial success rate was 81.8% in group 1 vs 93.75% in group 2 (P=0.549). Various amount of intraoperative and postoperative hyphema occurred in all eyes, which spontaneously absorbed or cleaned through paracentesis and irrigation. No other serious complications was observed.
CONCLUSION: MAT can effectively reduce IOP in patients with secondary glaucoma after congenital cataract surgery with a high success rate and safety. And it can be used as the first choice for the treatment of secondary glaucoma after surgery for congenital cataracts.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the prevalence and risk factors of pterygium in the rural population aged 40 years and above of 12 ethnic groups in 6 regions of Yunnan Province. Methods: This was a cross-sectional study. According to the method of multistage stratified sampling, samples of the rural population aged 40 years and above were collected from 12 ethnic groups (Han, Yi, Tibetan, Lisu, Bai, Naxi, Zhuang, Miao, Dai, Jingpo, Hani, and Lahu) in six areas (Diqing, Lijiang, Wenshan, Dehong, and Pu'er) of Yunnan Province from March 2019 to November 2019. Anterior segment examination was carried out in the target population with a hand-held slit-lamp, according to which pterygium was diagnosed, while the posterior segment of the eye was assessed by direct ophthalmoscopy. A field questionnaire survey was also conducted. A two-level model was used to study the effects of the location, nationality, sex, age, occupation, outdoor activities, smoking, and alcohol consumption on the prevalence of pterygium, with the ethnic group as the high level and the individual as the low level. Results: Among 9 617 subjects, the total prevalence rate of pterygium was 22.6%, which was adjusted to 19.6% according to the age and gender data of the Statistics Bureau of Yunnan Province. There was significant difference in prevalence of pterygium among six regions after adjusting for age and sex (χ2=146.50, P<0.001). The prevalence of pterygium was the highest in Wenshan (29.4%), followed by Chuxiong (24.4%), Diqing (17.5%), Pu'er (17.5%), Dehong (15.8%), and Lijiang (15.7%) (χ2=146.50, P<0.001). The results of the single factor analysis showed that there was statistically significant difference among different groups of age, gender, nationality, location, history of smoking, drinking, eating habits, sleeping time, continuous use of eye drops, temperature, humidity, altitude, longitude, latitude, and ultraviolet ray (P<0.05). However, the results of the multivariate analysis showed that the main risk factors of pterygium were female(OR=1.357,95%CI:1.173~1.568), advanced age(OR=1.540,95%CI:1.301~1.823), location(OR=1.713,95%CI:1.000~2.667), continuous use of eye drops(OR=1.177,95%CI:1.034~1.340), and more than 40 years of alcohol drinking(OR=1.525, 95%CI: 1.108~2.099), and the protective factor was more than 40 years of smoking(OR=0.723,95%CI:0.544~0.960). Conclusions: The prevalence of pterygium varies greatly among different regions in Yunnan Province. The main factors affecting the prevalence are sex, age, region, smoking history, and drinking history.

Abstract
UNLABELLED This study focused on the effects of Zn and Ni addition on the antibacterial properties and corrosion resistance of copper alloys. The antimicrobial properties of copper and copper alloys were evaluated using Escherichia coli ATCC 8739 bacterial strain by employing the overlay and plate counting methods. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used to analyze the surface composition of the alloy after contact with bacteria. A salt spray method was used to simulate an artificial sweat contact environment to test the discoloration and corrosion resistance of the alloy, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to analyze the film layer and surface material composition of the corroded samples. The addition of Ni reduced the antibacterial performance of pure copper; however, the antibacterial performance of the alloy remained fast and efficient after the addition of Zn. Moreover, the addition of Zn and Ni significantly improved the corrosion resistance and surface discoloration of copper alloys in artificial sweat environments. This study provided support for the future application of copper alloys as antimicrobial surface-contact materials with safer public and medical environments in the face of diseases spread by large populations. Abstract
Objective: To analyze the morphological changes of gray matter in clefts lip and palate (CLP) children using voxel-based morphometric (VBM) and surface-based morphometric (SBM) methods. So as to provide a reference for the neural mechanism of cleft palate speech disorder (CPSD) in CLP population. Methods: A total of 29 CLP children with CPSD who were admitted to Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Plastic & Tramuma Surgery, Capital Medical University School of Stomatology from January 2017 to January 2022 were selected (CLP group), including 9 males and 20 females, aged (9.6±3.2) years (5-17 years old). During the same period, 33 healthy children (healthy control group) were recruited in Beijing Children's Hospital, including 9 males and 24 females, aged (9.6±2.4) years (5-16 years). Results: There were no significant differences in age and gender between the healthy control group and the CLP group (t=-0.07, P=0.944; χ2=0.11, P=0.745). Compared with the healthy control group, the left inferior temporal gyrus, right inferior parietal angular gyrus, and left upper cerebellar gray matter volume in the CLP group were significantly decreased (P<0.05), and the volume of the right medial superior frontal gyrus was significantly increased (P<0.05). The left inferior frontal gyrus insula and the right insula cortical thickness of the subjects in the CLP group were significantly thinner [family-wise error rate (FWER) correction, P=0.035]. The right hemisphere cingulate gyrus isthmus sulcus index increased in the CLP group (FWER correction, P=0.040). Conclusions: CLP children with speech disorder have multiple language-related brain regions with reduced gray matter (GM) volume, decreased cortical thickness, and increased gyrificaition index. The abnormal changes in GM morphology in these brain regions may be related to the characteristics of cleft palate speech disorder in the CLP population.

Abstract
Objective
By analyzing the pathological characteristics and clinical data of renal biopsy in our hospital in the past 20 years, to further understand the epidemic characteristics and pathological changes of primary glomerular disease, and to provide regional data for the big data of kidney disease in my country.
Methods
A retrospective analysis of 9448 patients with primary glomerular disease who were hospitalized in our hospital from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2019, aged 18 years or older, and undergoing renal biopsy. Divided every 5 years into a group, a total of 4 groups (first group 2000.1.1–2004.12.31, second groups 2005.1.1–2009.12.31; third groups 2010.1.1–2014.12.31, fourth groups 2015.1.1–2019.12.31).
Results
① There were more males than females, and male: female vs 1.53:1. The proportion of men in the past five years has increased compared with the previous 15 years. ② Mostly middle-aged, with a median age of 41.39 years old. The age is increasing over time. There are differences between the four groups, P <0.001; ③ The most common clinical manifestations are nephrotic syndrome, followed by chronic glomerulonephritis. Occult glomerulonephritis, the proportion of patients with nephrotic syndrome increases over time, first to fourth group (40.08%< 42.64% < 47.08%< 53.69%); ④ The most common pathology type from 2000 to 2009 was mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis. IgA nephropathy was the most common type from 2010 to 2014, but the proportion of membranous nephropathy increased year by year, and it became the most common pathological type from 2015 to 2019; ⑤ The clinical and pathological manifestations of different genders are different, but there is no statistical difference.
Conclusion
In the past 20 years, the primary glomerular disease is mainly middle-aged. There are more men than women. The most common type of clinical manifestation is nephrotic syndrome. The pathological type is mesangial proliferative glomerulonephritis. Over time, the average age is increasing, and the proportion of patients with renal syndrome is increasing. IgA nephropathy is the most common pathological type from 2010 to 2014, and membranous nephropathy has become the main pathological type in the past 5 years.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Diabetes is a metabolic disease with a high complication rate. Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) seriously affect the quality of life of patients. A total of 15%-20% of diabetic patients develop DFUs, which heal with difficulty over a long time and can result in amputation and disability. Traditional Chinese medicine has a unique effect in the treatment of skin ulcerative diseases. Ruyi Jinhuang powder (RHP) is one of the classic prescriptions in traditional Chinese medicine and is widely used in clinical practice.
AIM To verify the ability of RHP to promote wound healing by electron microscopy analysis in animal models and hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining. The effective components of RHP were extracted and identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS), and the obtained chemical components were analyzed by network pharmacology methods to predict its therapeutic mechanism.
METHODS Sprague Dawley rats were injected with streptozotocin to establish the DFU model. HE staining was used to observe the wound tissue under an electron microscope. The chemical constituents of RHP were extracted first by supercritical fluid extraction and alcohol extraction, and then, GC-MS and ultra-performance liquid chromatography–MS were used to separately identify the chemical constituents. In addition, the "herb-component-target" link was established through the Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology database to obtain the target information, and the molecular docking of important components and key targets was performed in Discovery Studio software. Cytoscape software was used to visualize and analyze the relationship between the chemical composition, targets and Traditional Chinese Medicine network.
RESULTS RHP promoted DFU healing in rats by affecting fibroblasts and nerve cells. A total of 89 chemical components were obtained by GC-MS. Network pharmacological analysis revealed that RHP was associated with 36 targets and 27 pathways in the treatment of DFU, of which the important components were luteolin, trans caryophyllene, ar-turmerone, palmitic acid, methyl palmitate, gallic acid, demethoxycurcumin, berberine, and rheic acid. The key targets were posttranscriptional silencing, topoisomerase II alpha, muscarinic acetylcholine receptor M2, interleukin 6, tumor necrosis factor and retinoic X receptor alpha, and the key pathways were the phosphoinositide 3-kinase-protein kinase B signaling pathway, neuroactive ligand–receptor interactions, and the forkhead box O signaling pathway.
CONCLUSION Our results indicated that RHP may play a role in the treatment of DFU through these target pathways by affecting insulin resistance, altering the nervous system and immune system, participating in inflammatory responses and regulating cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis through other specific mechanisms.

Abstract
Objective To prepare a biologically active amniotic membrane powder and explore its preservation conditions, and to evaluate the efficacy of the amniotic membrane (AM)-fibrin sealant (FS) cement made from the amniotic powder on the rabbit severe ocular surface alkali burn model. Methods Experimental research. Fresh AM was air-dried, cooled with liquid nitrogen, ground into amniotic powder and sterilized by radiation. The expression of transformed growth factor, nerve growth factor receptor (NGFR), hepatocyte growth factor (HGF), epidermal growth factor (EGF) and basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) after preparation and 10, 20 and 30 days after storage at room temperature, 4 ℃ and -20 ℃ was tested and compared with that in the fresh AM. The AM-FS cement containing different concentrations of amniotic powder and no amniotic powder was diluted. Rabbit corneal epithelial cells were cultured for 72 hours. The effects of different concentrations of amniotic powder on epithelial cell growth were observed by light microscopy, and the amniotic powder concentration with the largest absorbance value at 450 nm was selected for subsequent animal experiments. Thirty-two right eyes of 32 rabbits as the severe ocular surface alkali burn model were divided using the random counting method into the AM-FS cement group, fresh AM transplantation group, FS group and antibiotic control group (8 rabbits each group) and given different interventions. After weekly observation of corneal repair, hematoxylin and eosin staining, immunohistochemical staining of monocyte chemotaxis protein 1 (MCP-1)and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) were performed and detected by light microscopy at 28 days. The logFC values of the growth factor or receptor expression difference ratio were corrected by BH; the data were analyzed by t-test and analysis of variance. Results: The expression of TGF in the amniotic membrane powder compared with the fresh amniotic membrane group (logFC=-0.11), and the expression of NGFR (HGF, EGF, bFGF) was higher than that of the fresh amniotic membrane group (logFC=-2.07, 0.72, 0.46, 2.62; P<0.05); the expression of HGF, bFGF and EGF in amniotic membrane powder stored for 10 days and 20 days were no lower than fresh amniotic membrane; at 30 days, the expression of growth factors or receptors except HGF and bFGF were decreased, and HGF, bFGF and EGF were no less than 4 ℃ and -20 ℃.The maximum A value was obtained for 0.25 mg/ml of the amniotic membrane powder after 72 hours of the CEC culture 0.98±0.05. The corneal recovery was better in the AM-FS and fresh amniotic membrane transplant groups, with corneal turbidity scores of 3.75±0.46 and 3.50±0.46, respectively, on 28 days, lower than antibiotics (4.29±0.45) (t=2.480, 3.629; P=0.019, 0.001). The corneal neovascular area in the antibiotic control group was compared with the other three groups (t=4.040, 4.339, 2.820; all P<0.001); the corneal neovascular area in the AM-FS group was (9.88±0.20) and (18.96±0.18) mm2 at 7 and 28 days. The corneal neovascularization area at 7 and 28 days in the fresh AM group [(9.54±0.22) and (18.08±0.96) mm2] was smaller than the AM-FS group (t=3.085, 3.017, P=0.005, 0.005). Despite the tiny statistical difference (0.34, 0.88), there was no clinical difference. Hematoxylin and eosin staining showed corneal structures were intact in the AM-FS and fresh AM groups, the epithelial arrangement became normal, and the corneal healing was superior to the FS and antibiotic control groups. Immunohistochemistry showed that the positive expression of VEGF in the fresh AM group was weaker than that in the remaining three groups. MCP-1 was expressed to a similar extent in the AM-FS and fresh AM groups. Conclusions: The active cytokine had high expression and stable properties at room temperature. The AM-FS cement containing 0.25 mg/ml amniotic powder can promote the repair of corneal epithelium, reduce inflammatory reaction and corneal neovascularization after alkali burning in rabbit eyes.

Abstract
Background The globally growing demand for complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) has attracted educators' attention to integrate CAM into conventional nursing programs. This systematic review aimed to understand the status quo of nursing students (NSs)' overall rated knowledge of, attitude/belief toward, and practice/previous use or experience (KAP) of CAM in surveys, given these factors may influence NSs' receptivity to CAM curricula, and may be of value in guiding the development of effective teaching strategies. Methods Formally published cross-sectional quantitative studies investigating the primary outcome of KAP toward CAM by NSs were searched for from eight databases from their inception through to 28 April 2022. PRISMA 2020 guidelines were followed. Results Twenty-six studies were included for analysis, 25 of which were judged to be of moderate to high quality. Despite limited and poorly informed knowledge of CAM therapies, the majority of NSs generally viewed them in a positive light. Furthermore, NSs usually reported an interest in further learning, and supported and welcomed the integration of CAM curricula, at least as elective modules, into existing nursing programs. Lack of evidence was perceived as a major barrier to the use or integration of CAM. Mass media and the internet were the main sources via which NSs access CAM information. Measurement of KAP in all included studies was via self-designed questionnaires/scales or adapted from previously developed questionnaires/scales. Conclusions The need for integrating and strengthening CAM curricula into current nursing education is identified. Besides theoretical knowledge and matched clinical placement, skills training in literature searching and evidence-based practice are advised to be included in the curricula design. The experiential learning mode is strongly recommended for delivering specific CAM modalities. In addition, a standard instrumentation for determining NSs' KAP toward CAM should be designed and examined for use in different cultural settings. Abstract
BACKGROUND Laodelphax striatellus is one of the most destructive pests of rice and other cereal crops. Chemical control is still the most efficient way to control this pest, but insecticide resistance always threatens this approach. RESULTS Monitoring data (2003-2020) showed that Chinese field populations of L. striatellus developed high-level buprofezin resistance within the first four years. This high-level resistance to buprofezin was stable for about ten years and persisted even when buprofezin selection pressure was absent. An established near-isogenic strain (YN-NIS) with 90.8-fold resistance to buprofezin had resistance inheritance of autosomal and incomplete dominance, and the resistance was controlled by multiple genes with no obvious fitness costs (relative fitness of 0.8707). Furthermore, the susceptibility of 29 field populations to another seven insecticides (2014-2020) showed that: (i) low-level resistance to pymetrozine, dinotefuran, sulfoxaflor and thiamethoxam was first detected in 2014 (eight years after introduction), 2016 (three years after), 2017 (four years after) and 2019 (19 years after), respectively, (ii) moderate resistance levels to chlorpyrifos were found for all populations across multiple years, and (iii) no resistance was detected for nitenpyram and triflumezopyrim. CONCLUSION The fast buprofezin resistance development in L. striatellus would be caused by incomplete dominant resistance with almost no fitness cost in the resistant strain. Nitenpyram and triflumezopyrim showed no resistance and can be used as the main insecticide for the control of L. striatellus. These findings provide key fundamental information for controlling L. striatellus.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the prevalence of parasitic infections in freshwater fish and marine fish from markets in Zhenjiang City, so as to provide the evidene for formulating targeted control measures. METHODS Freshwater fish and marine fish were collected from farmers' markets and supermarkets in Zhenjiang City using a random sampling method. The metacercaria and larvae of parasites were detected using microscopy and the direct dissection method. The prevalence of parasitic infections was analyzed in freshwater fish and marine fish. RESULTS The overall prevalence of parasite infections was 11.21% (208/1 856) in the 1 856 fish (34 species) detected from 2017 to 2020, and the prevalence was 9.81% (117/1 193) in freshwater fish and 13.73% (91/663) in marine fish. Among the 1 193 freshwater fish (23 species), high prevalence of parasitic infections was detected in Gambusia affinis (43.33%), coarse fish (32.93%) and Hemiculter leucisclus (20.20%), and there was no significant difference in the prevalence of parasitic infections among different species of freshwater fish (χ2 = 105.66, P < 0.05). Clonorchis sinensis, Metorchis orientalis and other parasite species were detected in freshwater fish, with detection rates of 0.59% (7/1 193), 1.93% (23/1 193) and 7.29% (87/1 193), respectively, and there was a significant difference in the detection of C. sinensis and M. orientalis in freshwater fish (χ2 = 8.64, P < 0.05). The prevalence and intensity of larval Anisakis infections were 13.73% (91/663) in marine fish and 3.43 parasites per fish. High prevalence of Anisakis infections was seen in little yellow croaker fish (30.28%) and hairtail (27.50%), and there was a significant difference in the prevalence of parasitic infections in different species of marine fish (χ2 = 12.93, P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS Parasitic infections are prevalent in freshwater fish and marine fish from markets of Zhenjiang City, and there is a risk of parasitic infections following consumption of raw or under-cooked freshwater fish and marine fish.

Abstract
Background Due to concerns about risks associated with antidepressants and/or hypnotics, complementary therapies such as acupuncture have been sought by patients with active or previous depression to manage insomnia. This systematic review aimed to clarify if acupuncture is effective and safe enough to be recommended as an alternative or adjuvant therapy to standard care in ameliorating concomitant or residual insomnia, two types of insomnia associated with depression. Methods Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of depression-related insomnia (DI) treatment via acupuncture vs. waitlist-control or placebo-/sham-acupuncture and RCTs of DI treatment via acupuncture alone or combined with standard care [Western pharmacotherapy and/or cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)] vs. standard care alone were searched for from seven databases from inception to December 2021. Cochrane criteria were followed. Results Twenty-one studies involving 1,571 participants were analyzed. For insomnia as a major symptom of active depression, meta-analyses suggested that acupuncture significantly reduced the global scores of both the Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) [MD = -3.12, 95% CI (-5.16, -1.08), p < 0.01] and Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) [SMD = -2.67, 95% CI (-3.51, -1.84), p < 0.01], in comparison with placebo-acupuncture. When compared with conventional pharmacotherapy (antidepressants and/or hypnotics), the results favored acupuncture in decreasing PSQI [MD = -1.17, 95% CI (-2.26, -0.08), p = 0.03] and HAMD [SMD = -0.47, 95% CI (-0.91, -0.02), p = 0.04]. Acupuncture was comparable to conventional pharmacotherapy in reducing scores of each domain of PSQI. For insomnia as a residual symptom of previous or partially remitted depression, acupuncture conferred a very limited, non-significant therapeutic advantage against sham-/placebo-acupuncture. Whether acupuncture has an add-on effect to conventional pharmacotherapy in this type of insomnia has not been investigated. Also, no study was available to address the efficacy differences between acupuncture and CBT or the synergistic effect of these two therapies. Conclusions There is a low to moderate level of evidence supporting acupuncture as a safe and effective remedy alternative to or adjuvant to conventional pharmacotherapy (antidepressant and/or hypnotic) in improving insomnia and other depression symptoms among patients with active depression. Furthermore, the patients' complaint of disrupted sleep continuity is most likely to benefit from acupuncture. The benefit of acupuncture on residual insomnia associated with previous or partially remitted depression is limited. Abstract
BACKGROUND Quetiapine, known as a non-classical antipsychotic drug, is frequently used for the treatment of mental diseases, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. Acute lung injury, a rarely reported side effect of quetiapine, is described in this case report.
CASE SUMMARY Due to terminal delirium, a 66-year-old man took a large dose of quetiapine and then developed severe pulmonary disease. His symptoms were not resolved after routine treatment, such as antibiotics, diuretic, and supportive therapies. Quetiapine-related acute lung injury was therefore suspected and hormonal therapy was initiated. Subsequently, his symptoms were alleviated and the radiological results improved dramatically.
CONCLUSION Our findings in the present report highlight a potential adverse effect of quetiapine, drug-related acute lung injury, which deserves awareness in clinical practice.

Abstract
Background: Recent research showed that abnormal lipid metabolism was associated with cancers. As one of the genes that can regulate the level of lipid metabolism, abnormal APOE expression was associated with carcinogenesis. However, the clinical value of APOE in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) remains to be determined. Methods: ONCOMINE, GEPIA, UALCAN, STRING, GeneMANIA, LinkedOmics, GSCALite, TISIDB, EPIC and TIMER were utilized to achieve comprehensively bioinformatics analysis of APOE in this study. And the immunohistochemical staining of APOE was used to verify the predicted results. Results: The mRNA level and protein level of APOE of PTC tissues were significantly elevated in TCGA cohort and Shanghai cohort. PTC patients with low mRNA level of APOE were associated with a bad prognosis. The functions of APOE co-expressed genes were mainly enriched in adaptive immune response, protein-lipid complex subunit organization, actin cytoskeleton reorganization, cell chemotaxis, protein activation cascade and transcriptional misregulation in cancer. APOE level was significantly correlated with tumor-infiltrating cells (B cells, CD8+ T cells, neutrophils, and dendritic) and immune biomarkers in PTC. Conclusions: APOE is a potential independent biomarker for PTC and APOE expression is positively correlated with immune cell infiltration in PTC.

Abstract
Objectives: A novel AFR– albumin-derived neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (dNLR) score (ADS) were reported to associate with clinical outcome in various malignancies, However, the relation between the ADS score and outcomes in coronary artery disease (CAD) patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) has not been investigated. Methods: Three thousand five hundred and sixty-one patients were divided into two groups according to ADS score: low group (ADS score <2; n = 2,682) and high group (ADS score ≥ 2; n = 879). Overall, there were 133 all-cause mortality (ACM) during the following up. The incidence of ACM in the low group is 2.7% (72/2,682) and high group is 6.9% (61/879). The ACM incidence was significantly higher in high group compared to that in the low group (P < 0.001). Cardiac mortality (CM) occurred in 82 patients: 44(1.6%) in the low group and 38 (4.3%) in the high group. There was significant difference in the CM incidence between the low group and high group (P < 0.001). Major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events (MACCE) occurred in 520 patients: 366 (13.6%) in the low group and 154 (17.5%) in the high group. There was significant difference in the MACCE incidence between the low group and high group (P = 0.005). Major adverse cardiac and events (MACE) occurred in 395 patients: 281(10.5%) in the low group and 114 (13.0%) in the high group. There was significant difference in the MACE incidence between the low group and high group (P = 0.041). The multivariate Cox proportional hazards model showed that ADS score was independently correlated with the ACM [adjusted HR = 2.031 (1.357–3.039), P = 0.001]; CM [adjusted HR = 1.883 (1.127–3.147), P = 0.016]; MACCE [adjusted HR = 1.352 (1.096–1.668), P = 0.005], and MACE [adjusted HR = 1.260 (0.987–1.608), P = 0.063]. Conclusion: The present study indicated that the ADS score was associated with long-term mortality, the MACCE, and the MACE in CAD patients underwent PCI.

Abstract
The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of different courses of electroacupuncture on synaptic structure and synaptic function-related proteins expression in the hippocampal CA1 region of radiation-induced brain injury mice. Sixty C57BL/6J male mice were randomly divided into control group, radiation-induced brain injury model group, 1-week electroacupuncture group (EA1), 2-week electroacupuncture group (EA2), 3-week electroacupuncture group (EA3), and electroacupuncture-control (EA-Ctrl) group. The mice in model group were exposed to X-ray irradiation (8 Gy, 10 min) to establish radiation-induced brain injury model. The mice in EA groups were acupunctured at electroacupuncture points (Baihui, Fengfu and bilateral Shenshu) for 1 week, 2 weeks and 3 weeks respectively after radiation. Immunohistochemistry was used to observe synaptic structure in hippocampal CA1 region. The expressions of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), synapsin-1 and postsynaptic density 95 (PSD95) in the hippocampal CA1 region of each group were detected by RT-PCR and Western blotting. The results showed that the nuclear gap in model and EA-Ctrl groups was significantly decreased compared to control group, however nucleus to cytoplasm ratio was significantly increased. The synaptic cleft, postsynaptic density (PSD) thickness, the mitochondrial surface density, volume density and specific surface area were significantly reduced. Compared with model group, the nucleus to cytoplasm ratio of EA2 group was significantly decreased, the PSD thickness and mitochondrial volume density were significantly increased; the nuclear gap of EA3 group was significantly increased, nucleus to cytoplasm ratio was significantly decreased, synaptic cleft and PSD thickness were significantly increased, and the mitochondrial surface density and specific surface area were all increased significantly. In addition, compared with the control group, the gene and protein expressions of BDNF, synapsin-1 and PSD95 in the hippocampal CA1 region of the model group and EA-Ctrl group were significantly decreased. However, compared with the model group, the gene expression of synapsin-1 in EA groups was significantly up-regulated, the gene expression of BDNF in EA1 and EA2 groups was significantly up-regulated, and the gene expression of PSD95 in EA2 group was significantly up-regulated. Moreover, the protein expressions of BDNF, synapsin-1 and PSD95 of EA groups were significantly up-regulated compared with the model group. These results indicate that the synaptic structure and the expression of synaptic function-related proteins in hippocampal CA1 region were injured by radiation exposure, whereas electroacupuncture intervention can significantly improve the synaptic structure and function damage caused by radiation.

Abstract
Rare earth elements (REEs) are widely used in the industry, agriculture, biomedicine, aerospace, etc, and have been shown to pose toxic effects on animals, as such, studies focusing on their biomedical properties are gaining wide attention. However, environmental and population health risks of REEs are still not very clear. Also, the REEs damage to the nervous system and related molecular mechanisms needs further research. In this study, the L1 and L4 stages of the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans were used to evaluate the effects and possible neurotoxic mechanism of lanthanum(III) nitrate hexahydrate (La(NO3)3·6H2O). For the L1 and L4 stage worms, the 48-h median lethal concentrations (LC50s) of La(NO3)3·6H2O were 93.163 and 648.0 mg/L respectively. Our results show that La(NO3)3·6H2O induces growth inhibition and defects in behavior such as body length, body width, body bending frequency, head thrashing frequency and pharyngeal pumping frequency at the L1 and L4 stages in C. elegans. The L1 stage is more sensitive to the toxicity of lanthanum than the L4 stage worms. Using transgenic strains (BZ555, EG1285 and NL5901), we found that La(NO3)3·6H2O caused the loss or break of soma and dendrite neurons in L1 and L4 stages; and α-synuclein aggregation in L1 stage, indicating that Lanthanum can cause toxic damage to dopaminergic and GABAergic neurons. Mechanistically, La(NO3)3·6H2O exposure inhibited or activated the neurotransmitter transporters and receptors (glutamate, serotonin and dopamine) in C. elegans, which regulate behavior and movement functions. Furthermore, significant increase in the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) was found in the L4 stage C. elegans exposed to La(NO3)3·6H2O. Altogether, our data show that exposure to lanthanum can cause neuronal toxic damage and behavioral defects in C. elegans, and provide basic information for understanding the neurotoxic effect mechanism and environmental health risks of rare earth elements.

Abstract
Aims: The present study aimed to investigate the prognostic role of derived neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (dNLR) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) after PCI. Methods: A total of 3,561 post-PCI patients with CHD were retrospectively enrolled in the CORFCHD-ZZ study from January 2013 to December 2017. The patients (3,462) were divided into three groups according to dNLR tertiles: the first tertile (dNLR < 1.36; n = 1,139), second tertile (1.36 ≥ dNLR < 1.96; n = 1,166), and third tertile(dNLR ≥ 1.96; n = 1,157). The mean follow-up time was 37.59 ± 22.24 months. The primary endpoint was defined as mortality (including all-cause death and cardiac death), and the secondary endpoint was major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) and major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCEs). Results: There were 2,644 patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and 838 patients with chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) in the present study. In the total population, the all-cause mortality (ACM) and cardiac mortality (CM) incidence was significantly higher in the third tertile than in the first tertile [hazard risk (HR) = 1.8 (95% CI: 1.2–2.8), p = 0.006 and HR = 2.1 (95% CI: 1.23–3.8), p = 0.009, respectively]. Multivariate Cox regression analyses suggested that compared with the patients in the first tertile than those in the third tertile, the risk of ACM was increased 1.763 times (HR = 1.763, 95% CI: 1.133–2.743, p = 0.012), and the risk of CM was increased 1.763 times (HR = 1.961, 95% CI: 1.083–3.550, p = 0.026) in the higher dNLR group during the long-term follow-up. In both ACS patients and CCS patients, there were significant differences among the three groups in the incidence of ACM in univariate analysis. We also found that the incidence of CM was significantly different among the three groups in CCS patients in both univariate analysis (HR = 3.541, 95% CI: 1.154–10.863, p = 0.027) and multivariate analysis (HR = 3.136, 95% CI: 1.015–9.690, p = 0.047). Conclusion: The present study suggested that dNLR is an independent and novel predictor of mortality in CHD patients who underwent PCI.

Abstract
Studies on transuranic oxides provide a particularly valuable insight into chemical bonding in actinide compounds, in which subtle differences between metal ions and oxygen atoms are of fundamental importance for the stability of these compounds as well as their existence. In the case of neptunium, it is still mainly limited to specific Np oxide compounds without periodicity in the formation of stable structures or different oxidation states. Here, we report a systematic global minimum search of Np2Ox (x = 1-7) clusters and the computational study of their electronic structures and chemical bonding. These studies suggest that Np(V) ion could play the structure-directing role, and thus the mixed-valent Np(III/V) in Np2O4 is predicted accessible. In comparison with lower oxidation state Np analogues, significant 5f-orbital covalent interactions with Np(V)O bonding are observed, which shows that these model neptunium oxides can provide new understandings into the behavior of 5f-electrons in chemical bonding and structural design.

Abstract
The kinetic energy-dependent reactions of the atomic actinide uranium cation (U+) with H2, D2, and HD were examined by guided ion beam tandem mass spectrometry. An average 0 K bond dissociation energy of D0(U+ - H) = 2.48 ± 0.06 eV is obtained by analysis of the endothermic product ion cross sections. Quantum chemistry calculations were performed for comparison with experimental thermochemistry, including high-level CASSCF-CASPT2-RASSI calculations of the spin-orbit corrections. CCSD(T) and the CASSCF levels show excellent agreement with experiment, whereas B3LYP and PBE0 slightly overestimate and the M06 approach badly underestimates the bond energy for UH+. Theory was also used to investigate the electronic structures of the reaction intermediates and potential energy surfaces. The experimental product branching ratio for the reaction of U+ with HD indicates that these reactions occur primarily via a direct reaction mechanism, despite the presence of a deep-well for UH2+ formation according to theory. The reactivity and hydride bond energy for U+ are compared with those for transition metal, lanthanide, and actinide cations, and periodic trends are discussed. These comparisons suggest that the 5f electrons on uranium are largely core and uninvolved in the reactive chemistry.
