Abstract
In a discussion on the phenomenon of shame, intriguing questions are raised for consideration by teachers of nursing. Raising concerns about the perceived emergence of societal norms that seem to encourage the shaming of others along with technology and social media platforms that enable public shaming brings one to ponder the meaning of shame in the sciencing and art of teaching-learning in nursing, especially in an era of virtual learning. From the unique perspective of humanbecoming, reflections on selected stories of the student experience of shame give rise to several suggestions for faculty to be with students in moving beyond moments of potential shame in the unfolding of new possibilities. These stories and suggestions are offered to nurse faculty and academic administrators for continuing discussion and as an opportunity for shared learning.

Abstract
The scholar in this paper presents a concept inventing model of feeling ashamed. It consists of a literature review across many disciplines, an exploration of many artforms, dialoguing with others, and a distinctive description of feeling ashamed. As social distancing seems to have become the new normal in the ongoing struggle to prevent the spread of COVID-19, this column focuses on the challenge of presence in the teaching-learning endeavor that often is lived in virtual settings. When presence is defined as being in the same place at the same time as another, suggesting that presence is essential to teaching-learning would certainly run counter to the recommended practice of social distancing. However, the question must be asked if it is essential for the teacher and learner to be in a particular place at the same moment for presence in teaching-learning to be known. Clarity of the meaning of presence in the teaching-learning endeavor is pursued through considering insights gained from the movie Patch Adams. Further, insights from the humanbecoming paradigm are explored to provide new ways of moving onward in teaching-learning.

In this column, the importance of honoring the wisdom of the diverse perspectives of collaborators with varying educational and experiential backgrounds is explored. For authentic collaboration to be possible, collaborators must have a solid theoretical, scientific, and experiential foundation within their particular discipline. This study aimed to explore the phenomenon of suffering as viewed from the humanbecoming paradigm. The Parse research method was used for this study and answers the question: What is the structure of the living experience of suffering? The participants were 10 individuals who experienced one of the most dreadful typhoons in the archipelago of the Philippines. The central finding of the study was as follows: Suffering is penetrating disheartenment amid resoluteness, as pondering with diverse alliances surfaces with lingering glimmers of destruction. Abstract
In reflecting on the personal experience of moving beyond life as a nurse academician, the author explored the phenomenon of living with ambiguity in the teaching-learning endeavor. From the stories of new graduates of baccalaureate nursing programs, comfort-discomfort, sureness-unsureness, and confirming-not confirming arose as paradoxical rhythms of the experience of living with ambiguity. To gain insight into this experience, the unique perspectives of an undergraduate student, a graduate student, and a new faculty are considered through the stories they shared with the author about betrayal in teaching-learning. The humanbecoming paradigm provided a unique perspective to view these stories and explore the unlimited possibilities emerging when human dignity and freedom to choose are honored.

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the living experience of feeling peaceful. Parse's research method was used to answer the question: What is the structure of the living experience of feeling peaceful? Twelve participants living in a community consented to partake in the study. The central finding of the study is the structure: feeling peaceful is contentedness amid tribulation, as unburdening surfaces with devout involvements. The findings are discussed in relation to the humanbecoming school of thought and extant literature.

Abstract
Transfiguring Light and Symphonic Blooming is word-art to describe the flowering of the humanbecoming and human caring schools of thought over time. A Wabi Sabi story journey was created to turn the tide in a world where the building of a unique body of knowledge for nursing has fallen into disfavor with nursing itself. Using nature-aligned paintings and a Japanese story-art aesthetic with poetry, the beauty of falling away to unitary essentials and holding the value of "both-and" in unitary consciousness was illuminated. Co-creating art-knowledge may transfigure nursing theory development and its acceptance with cosmic tree-rooted arches.

The participants were 10 persons, ages 9 to 83, living in the United States. The central finding of the study is the living experience of feeling playful is entertaining amusements amid burdens with uplifting endeavors strengthening affiliations with blissful moments of unfettered unfolding. The living experience of feeling playful is discussed in relation to the principles of the humanbecoming paradigm and in relation to how it can inform further research.

Abstract
Feeling comfortable is a universal living experience. From the worldview of the humanbecoming paradigm, concept inventing is an appropriate method to expand understanding and knowledge of universal experiences. The purpose of this article is to provide a synthetic definition of feeling comfortable using the concept inventing process. Through concept inventing, a synthetic definition of feeling comfortable emerged as penetrating quietude amid potential upheaval arising with opportunities and restrictions with envisioning the familiar anew. Further development of the concept through qualitative research is recommended.

Reflecting on the shared stories, the challenge is offered to continue the tradition of the column in reading, writing, and thinking from the edge, to bravely consider what might be, daring to go beyond the confinements of mainstream thinking, and to vision as yet unimagined possibilities in teaching-learning in nursing.

Abstract
The concept of feeling disrespected was explored using the Parse research method. Ten women living with embodied largeness were asked, "What is the experience of feeling disrespected?" The structure of the living experience was feeling disrespected is mortifying disheartenment arising with disquieting irreverence, as distancing affiliations surface while enduring hardship. The findings provided new knowledge of living quality, advanced nursing practice, and presented future direction for research.

The purpose of this article is to report the finding of a Parse research method study on the universal living experience of feeling surprised. In dialogical engagement with the researcher, eight participants described the experience. The structure of the living experience of feeling surprised was found to be: Feeling surprised is stunning amazement arising with shifting fortunes, as delight amid despair surfaces with diverse involvements.
