Abstract
A 57-year-old woman was admitted to hospital with fever. She still had fever treated with multiple antibiotics, and no definite evidence for infection was found. Hypothermia and hypotension developed, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination showed enlarged anterior pituitary and multiple small nodular lesions with mild enhancement on the left side. Hormone replacement and anti-infection treatment were administrated, but fever did not improve. Remarkable lymphadenopathy was found in left supraclavicular area. The pathology of lymph node biopsy indicated peripheral T-cell lymphoma (not otherwise specified, NOS). Positron emission tomography-computed tomography (PET-CT) revealed hypermetabolism in multiple lymph nodes, infiltration of the liver and spleen. The final diagnosis were peripheral T-cell lymphoma with involvement of liver and spleen (stage Ⅳ) and anterior hypopituitarism. After chemotherapy, fever alleviated and the function of anterior pituitary recovered gradually.

Feasibility of an ultra-low dose contrast media protocol for coronary CT angiography. Clin Radiol 2022; 77:e705-e710. [PMID: 35778294 DOI: 10.1016/j.crad.2022.05.029] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Track Full Text] [Journal Information] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 12/31/2021] [Revised: 05/30/2022] [Accepted: 05/30/2022] [Indexed: 11/25/2022]
Abstract
AIM To evaluate the feasibility of an ultra-low volume contrast media (CM) protocol for coronary computed tomography angiography (CTA). MATERIALS AND METHODS In total, 214 patients receiving coronary CTA were enrolled prospectively and divided into group A (n=107) receiving a conventional dose of CM and group B (n=107) receiving an ultra-low dose. CT values of the right coronary artery (RCA), left anterior descending artery (LAD), and left circumflex artery (LCX) were measured and radiation doses recorded. The image quality was compared between the groups. Changes in renal function indices and proteinuria before, 24, and 72 hours after coronary CTA among those with chronic kidney disease (CKD) were also assessed. RESULTS There were significant differences in CT values and radiation doses between groups A and B. In group A, the average RCA, LAD, and LCX CT values were 412.5 ± 79.2, 423.5 ± 73.7, and 422.0 ± 88.1 HU, respectively. In group B, the average RCA, LAD, and LCX CT values were 275.2 ± 16.2, 277.8 ± 16.4, and 278.9 ± 16.5 HU, respectively. The radiation dose in the ultra-low protocol recipients (118.70 ± 18.52 mGy·cm) was significantly lower than that used in conventional coronary CTA (131.75 ± 20.96 mGy·cm). The image quality of group B was comparable to that of group A, satisfying the diagnostic requirement. In patients with mild CKD, there were no significant differences in renal functions after coronary CTA. CONCLUSION An ultra-low CM protocol was established for coronary CTA, providing comparable image quality and diagnostic yields but significantly lower radiation dose compared with a conventional protocol. This new protocol might be applicable to patients with mild CKD.

Abstract
Quantum chromodynamics, the theory of the strong force, describes interactions of coloured quarks and gluons and the formation of hadronic matter. Conventional hadronic matter consists of baryons and mesons made of three quarks and quark-antiquark pairs, respectively. Particles with an alternative quark content are known as exotic states. Here a study is reported of an exotic narrow state in the D0D0π+ mass spectrum just below the D*+D0 mass threshold produced in proton-proton collisions collected with the LHCb detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The state is consistent with the ground isoscalar [Formula: see text] tetraquark with a quark content of [Formula: see text] and spin-parity quantum numbers JP = 1+. Study of the DD mass spectra disfavours interpretation of the resonance as the isovector state. The decay structure via intermediate off-shell D*+ mesons is consistent with the observed D0π+ mass distribution. To analyse the mass of the resonance and its coupling to the D*D system, a dedicated model is developed under the assumption of an isoscalar axial-vector [Formula: see text] state decaying to the D*D channel. Using this model, resonance parameters including the pole position, scattering length, effective range and compositeness are determined to reveal important information about the nature of the [Formula: see text] state. In addition, an unexpected dependence of the production rate on track multiplicity is observed.

Abstract
Objective: To examine the efficacy and safety of third-party bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) in the treatment of refractory delayed hemorrhagic cystitis (LOHC) after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) . Methods: Twenty patients with refractory LOHC received conventional therapy combined with MSCs obtained from third-party donors' bone marrow (BM) . MSCs were given intravenously at a dose of 1 × 10(6) cells/kg once weekly until either the symptoms improved or no changes in LOHC were seen after continuous infusion four times. BK viruria (BKV) -DNA, JC viruria (JCV) -DNA, and CMV-DNA were detected by real-time quantitative PCR before and 8 weeks after the MSCs infusion. Results: ① Of the 20 patients with refractory LOHC, 15 were males, and 5 were females, and the median age was 35 (15-56) years. There were 5 cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) , 9 cases of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) , 5 cases of myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) , and 1 case of maternal plasma cell like dendritic cell tumor (BPDCN) . There were 4 cases of HLA identical transplantation and 16 cases of HLA incomplete transplantation. ②The median number of MSC infusions for each patient was 3 (range: 2-8) . Seventeen patients achieved complete response, and one had a partial response after treatment. The overall response rate was 90%. Over a median follow-up period of 397.5 days (range 39-937 days) post-transplantations, 13 patients survived, and 7 died. The causes of death included aGVHD (1 case) , infections (5 cases) , and TMA (1 case) . ③The copy numbers of BKV-DNA and CMV-DNA in urine in the 8th week after MSCs infusion were significantly lower than those observed before treatment (11342.1×10(8) copies/L vs 5.2×10(8) copies/L, P=0.016; 3170.0×10(4) copies/L vs 0.2×10(4) copies/L, P=0.006, respectively) , while JCV-DNA did not significantly differ when compared to before treatment (P=0.106) . ④ No adverse reactions related to MSC infusion occurred in any of the 20 patients. Conclusion: Third-party bone marrow-derived MSC has significant efficacy and good safety in the treatment of refractory LOHC after allogeneic HSCT.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of sialic acid combined with immunoglobulin-like lectin 15 (SIGLEC-15) on laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) and underlying mechanisms. Methods: The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), Cancer Cell Line Encyclopedia (CCLE) and Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis (GEPIA2) databases were used for bioinformatics analysis. Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK8), flow cytometry, and Transwell method were used respectively to detect proliferation, apoptosis, cell cycle, metastasis and invasion behaviors of the cells. Gene chip method was used for detecting up-regulated and down-regulated genes and performing enrichment analysis of differential genes. Western Blotting (WB) and Quantitative Real-time PCR (qPCR) were used to detect the expressions of proteins. Tumor formation experiments in nude mice were used to detect the effect of SIGLEC-15 on the growth of transplanted tumors. Wilcoxon rank sum test, t-test and Log-rank test were used for statistical analysis. Results: SIGLEC-15 was highly expressed in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and closely related to life in being. TU686SIGLEC-15-with low expression of SIGLEC-15 was constructed. Compared to TU686SIGLEC-15+, TU686SIGLEC-15-showed significantly reduced activities of proliferation (48 h: 1.32±0.23 vs. 2.56±0.37, t=6.59, P<0.05), migration (1 036.52±51.22 vs. 1 819.62±180.24, t=7.22, P<0.05) and invasion (469.21±112.25 vs. 961.45±102.03, t=7.85, P<0.05); early increased apoptosis ((23.27±1.12)% vs. (5.64±1.61)%, t=11.32, P<0.05); blocked cell cycle at G0/G1 ((59.32±3.65)% vs. (35.46±3.57)%, t=9.85, P<0.05); the knockdown of SIGLEC-15 resulted in up-regulation of 864 genes, down-regulation of 357 genes, with significant changes in molecules of cell cycle, apoptosis and JAK/STAT signal pathways, and the expressions of p-JAK2, p-STAT3, Caspase-3, Bad, Bcl-2, and Cyclin d1 proteins. Tumor formation experiments in nude mice showed that at 8 weeks after the tumors were implanted, the growth transplanted tumors of TU686 SIGLEC-15-cell group was slower than that of TU686 SIGLEC-15+cell group, with significant difference in the mean tumor weights between two groups ((0.382±0.054) g vs. (1.277±0.126) g, t=8.44, P<0.05), while the expression of SIGLEC-15 was lower in the transplanted tumors of SIGLEC-15 knockdown group compared to control group, with significant difference(11.29±2.17 vs. 36.25±7.56, t=9.28, P<0.05). Conclusion: SIGLEC-15 is highly expressed in LSCC and can promote the progression of LSCC through the JAK2-STAT3 pathway.

Abstract
The first full angular analysis and an updated measurement of the decay-rate CP asymmetry of the D^{0}→π^{+}π^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} and D^{0}→K^{+}K^{-}μ^{+}μ^{-} decays are reported. The analysis uses proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV. The dataset corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The full set of CP -averaged angular observables and their CP asymmetries are measured as a function of the dimuon invariant mass. The results are consistent with expectations from the standard model and with CP symmetry.

POS0558 A INFLAMMATORY FACTOR-BASED NOMOGRAM PREDICTS FIRST REMISSION TIME OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS PATIENTS WITH BASELINE GALECTIN-9. Ann Rheum Dis 2022. Abstract
BackgroundRheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease. The core treatment principle of RA is to achieve remission or low disease activity as soon as possible to ensure optimal outcomes. Predicting the first remission time according to the patient’s risk factors is very important for the choice of treatment scheme.ObjectivesWe aimed to verify the prognostic value of inflammatory factors in RA and establish a nomogram based on Human Interleukin-6(IL-6), Galectin-9(Gal-9)and disease activity to predict the first remission time after conventional synthetic DMARDstreatment.Methods184 RA active patients(DAS28-ESR> 3.2, ACR 1987 criteria or EULAR 2010 criteria) were enrolled in the rheumatology department of Qilu Hospital of Shandong University from June 2014 to June 2020.129 patients were assigned to the development cohort and 55 patients were assigned to the validation cohort randomly. Baseline clinical data and plasma were collected. The expressions of Tumour Necrosis Factor α (TNF-α), Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), IL-6 and Gal-9 in plasma of RA patients were detected by ELISA. All patients were treated with csDMARDs and we recorded activity of each follow-up visit until 36 months. Lasso regression and Cox regression analysis were used to screen the 14 variables (including activity indices and cytokines) at baseline, and the prediction model was established to draw the nomogram.ResultsPatient age, CRP, IL-6, Gal-9, HAQ and DAS28-ESR were the significant prognostic factors in the lasso and Cox regression analyses, especially Gal-9. The multivariate analysis revealed that IL-6≤ 9.04 pg/ml(HR =0.54, 95% CI:0.31–0.95), Gal-9≤ 4490 pg/ml(HR =0.43, 95% CI:0.21–0.89) were independent protective factors (Table 1). Above-mentioned six factors were included in our model as predictors (Figure 1). The resulting model containing six factors had good discrimination ability in both the development cohort (C-index, 0.729) and the validation cohort (C-index, 0.710). Time-dependent ROC curve (Figure 2), calibration analysis (Figure 3) and decision curve analysis (DCA) show that the nomogram has significant discriminant power, stability and clinical practicability in predicting the first remission time.ConclusionWe constructed and validated a nomogram with baseline activity indices and cytokines that can predict first remission time in RA patients after csDMARDs treatment. Using this simple-to-use model with plasma Gal-9 at baseline, the remission rate can be determined for an individual patient and could be useful for the early identification of high-risk patients.References[1]SUN J, SUI Y, WANG Y, et al. Abstract
Tests of lepton universality in B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}ℓ^{+}ℓ^{-} decays where ℓ is either an electron or a muon are presented. The differential branching fractions of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays are measured in intervals of the dilepton invariant mass squared. The measurements are performed using proton-proton collision data recorded by the LHCb experiment, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1} . The results are consistent with the standard model and previous tests of lepton universality in related decay modes. The first observation of B^{0}→K_{S}^{0}e^{+}e^{-} and B^{+}→K^{*+}e^{+}e^{-} decays is reported.

Abstract
The first observation of the semileptonic b-baryon decay Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ}, with a significance of 6.1σ, is reported using a data sample corresponding to 3 fb^{-1} of integrated luminosity, collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7 and 8 TeV at the LHC. The τ^{-} lepton is reconstructed in the hadronic decay to three charged pions. The ratio K=B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}) is measured to be 2.46±0.27±0.40, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. The branching fraction B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})=(1.50±0.16±0.25±0.23)% is obtained, where the third uncertainty is from the external branching fraction of the normalization channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}π^{-}π^{+}π^{-}. The ratio of semileptonic branching fractions R(Λ_{c}^{+})≡B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}τ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{τ})/B(Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ}) is derived to be 0.242±0.026±0.040±0.059, where the external branching fraction uncertainty from the channel Λ_{b}^{0}→Λ_{c}^{+}μ^{-}ν[over ¯]_{μ} contributes to the last term. This result is in agreement with the standard model prediction.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES The frail elderly have an increased risk of frailty because of reduced physical activity, cognitive ability and quality of life. This study aims to evaluate the effects of integrated exercise intervention on the attenuation of frailty in elderly nursing home residents. DESIGN This study was a cluster randomized controlled trial. SETTING AND PARTICIPANTS 146 elderly frailty people from 8 elderly nursing homes in Harbin, China, were randomly assigned into the intervention group and control group after obtaining their informed consent. INTERVENTION The intervention group performed integrated exercise interventions for 12 months, while the control group only continued with their daily activities. MEASUREMENTS Sociodemographic, health-related data, frailty levels, gait parameters, cognition, and quality of life were evaluated. RESULTS The mean age of participants was 80.74± 2.89 years, and 70.37% (n=95) were female. The Difference-in-difference regression showed that, compared with the control group, phenotypic frailty score (β3 =-1.40, p < 0.001) and stride time (β3 = -0.38, p <0.001) decreased significantly in the intervention group, stride velocity (β3 = 0.24, p < 0.001), step length (β3 = 0.08, p <0.001), cadence (β3 = 17.79, p < 0.001), MMSE total score (β3 = 1.90, p < 0.001) and QOL total score (β3 = 11.84, p < 0.001) increased significantly in the intervention group. CONCLUSION The integrated exercise intervention can effectively improve the attenuation of frailty, gait parameters, cognitive function, and quality of life in elderly nursing homes. We can use the findings of this study as a reference for the design of activities for the elderly nursing home residents, to provide them with appropriate exercises, improve their physical functions, and improve or delay their frailty level, which is principally important for developing countries in east Asia where rehabilitation resources are generally scarce.

Abstract
Two narrow resonant states are observed in the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} mass spectrum using a data sample of proton-proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, collected by the LHCb experiment and corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1}. The minimal quark content of the Λ_{b}^{0}K^{-}π^{+} system indicates that these are excited Ξ_{b}^{0} baryons. The masses of the Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0} and Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0} states are m[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]=6327.28_{-0.21}^{+0.23}±0.12±0.24 and m[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]=6332.69_{-0.18}^{+0.17}±0.03±0.22 MeV, respectively, with a mass splitting of Δm=5.41_{-0.27}^{+0.26}±0.12 MeV, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to the Λ_{b}^{0} mass measurement. The measured natural widths of these states are consistent with zero, with upper limits of Γ[Ξ_{b}(6327)^{0}]<2.20(2.56) and Γ[Ξ_{b}(6333)^{0}]<1.60(1.92) MeV at a 90% (95%) credibility level. The significance of the two-peak hypothesis is larger than nine (five) Gaussian standard deviations compared to the no-peak (one-peak) hypothesis. The masses, widths, and resonant structure of the new states are in good agreement with the expectations for a doublet of 1D Ξ_{b}^{0} resonances.

Measurement of the Nuclear Modification Factor and Prompt Charged Particle Production in p-Pb and pp Collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV. PHYSICAL REVIEW LETTERS 2022; 128:142004. Abstract
The production of prompt charged particles in proton-lead collisions and in proton-proton collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy sqrt[s_{NN}]=5 TeV is studied at LHCb as a function of pseudorapidity (η) and transverse momentum (p_{T}) with respect to the proton beam direction. The nuclear modification factor for charged particles is determined as a function of η between -4.8<η<-2.5 (backward region) and 2.0<η<4.8 (forward region), and p_{T} between 0.2<p_{T}<8.0 GeV/c. The results show a suppression of charged particle production in proton-lead collisions relative to proton-proton collisions in the forward region and an enhancement in the backward region for p_{T} larger than 1.5 GeV/c. This measurement constrains nuclear PDFs and saturation models at previously unexplored values of the parton momentum fraction down to 10^{-6}.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) in perioperative management of patients with gallbladder carcinoma. Methods: The data of the patients with gallbladder carcinoma admitted at Peking Union Medical College Hospital between January 2017 and December 2021 were analyzed retrospectively. There were 69 males(42.1%) and 95 females(57.9%),with age of (64.0±10.3) years(range:37 to 89 years). Patients were divided into ERAS group(n=53) and normal group(n=111) according to whether they were treated with ERAS measures during the perioperative period. The basic characteristics of the two groups were matched by propensity score matching, and then the perioperative information was compared between the two groups. Categorical variables were presented as absolute numbers or frequencies. Differences between study groups were analyzed using χ2 test, Fisher's exact test, t-test, or Mann-Whitney U test, as appropriate. Results: Each group had 45 patients after propensity score matching with well-balanced basic characteristics. There was no difference in basic characteristics, operation time, bleeding, complication, and hospitalization expenses between two groups(all P>0.05). Compared with the normal group, time of ambulation (M(IQR)) (1(1) day vs. 2(2) days;Z=-3.839,P<0.01),postoperative anal exhaust time (2(1) days vs. 3(1) days;Z=-3.013,P=0.003),feeding time(2(1) days vs. 2(1) days;Z=-3.647,P<0.01),postoperative (5(2) days vs. 7(4) days;Z=-3.984,P<0.01) and total(8(4) days vs. 13(6) days;Z=-3.605,P<0.01) hospitalization time were shorter in ERAS group. Postoperative complications occurred in 12 patients. According to the Clavien-Dindo classification,6,4,and 2 patients were classified as grade Ⅰ,Ⅱ,and Ⅲa,respectively. Conclusion: The ERAS measures is safe and effective for perioperative management of patients with gallbladder carcinoma, enhancing patient recovery and shortening hospitalization time without increasing complication or hospitalization cost.

Abstract
Energy-storage materials can be assembled directly on the electrodes of a battery using electrochemical methods, this allowing sequential deposition, high structural control, and low cost. Here, a two-step approach combining electrophoretic deposition (EPD) and cathodic electrodeposition (CED) is demonstrated to fabricate multilayer hierarchical electrodes of reduced graphene oxide (rGO) and mixed transition metal sulfides (NiCoMnSx ). The process is performed directly on conductive electrodes applying a small electric bias to electro-deposit rGO and NiCoMnSx in alternated cycles, yielding an ideal porous network and a continuous path for transport of ions and electrons. A fully rechargeable alkaline battery (RAB) assembled with such electrodes gives maximum energy density of 97.2 Wh kg-1 and maximum power density of 3.1 kW kg-1 , calculated on the total mass of active materials, and outstanding cycling stability (retention 72% after 7000 charge/discharge cycles at 10 A g-1 ). When the total electrode mass of the cell is considered, the authors achieve an unprecedented gravimetric energy density of 68.5 Wh kg-1 , sevenfold higher than that of typical commercial supercapacitors, higher than that of Ni/Cd or lead-acid Batteries and similar to Ni-MH Batteries. The approach can be used to assemble multilayer composite structures on arbitrary electrode shapes.

Abstract
The Yangtze River economic belt is an inland river economic belt with international influence composed of 11 provinces and municipalities in the Yangtze River Basin. This paper uses the super-efficiency model to calculate the green total factor productivity of 11 provinces and municipalities in the Yangtze River economic belt (YREB). Then we establish a model to study the impact of industrial structure upgrading, industrial structure rationalization, and environmental regulation on green total factor productivity (GTFP). Empirical analysis shows that the industrial structure upgrading and environmental regulation have a significant impact on GTFP and show regional characteristics. The more developed the economy and the higher the industrial structure, the greater the impact of upgrading and environmental regulation on GTFP. Compared with other control variables, the urbanization rate impacts GTFP, followed by regional economic development.

Abstract
Events containing a Z boson and a charm jet are studied for the first time in the forward region of proton-proton collisions. The data sample used corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 6 fb^{-1} collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. In events with a Z boson and a jet, the fraction of charm jets is determined in intervals of Z-boson rapidity in the range 2.0<y(Z)<4.5. A sizable enhancement is observed in the forwardmost y(Z) interval, which could be indicative of a valencelike intrinsic-charm component in the proton wave function.

Abstract
An amplitude analysis of flavor-untagged B_{s}^{0}→J/ψpp[over ¯] decays is performed using a sample of 797±31 decays reconstructed with the LHCb detector. The data, collected in proton-proton collisions between 2011 and 2018, correspond to an integrated luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. Evidence for a new structure in the J/ψp and J/ψp[over ¯] systems with a mass of 4337_{-4}^{+7} _{-2}^{+2} MeV and a width of 29_{-12}^{+26} _{-14}^{+14} MeV is found, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic, with a significance in the range of 3.1 to 3.7σ, depending on the assigned J^{P} hypothesis.

Abstract
ABSTRACT. In this paper, MoO3 microrods were prepared using corn straw as biological template via roasting process The components and crystal characterization of the material were investigated via X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and the electrochemistry property and mechanism were studied. The results showed that the MoO3 material synthesized by template method is orthorhombic structures. The MoO3 particles were submicron and micron rods with uniform distribution and a smooth surface. MoO3 microrods had an average diameter that ranged from 1 to 2 μm. The result indicated that the MoO3 as the new negative of aluminum battery delivers a higher discharge capacity of 190 mA·h·g-1 at a scanning rate of 1 mV·s-1, which showing good capacity and cycling performance.

Abstract
Branching fraction and effective lifetime measurements of the rare decay B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and searches for the decays B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ are reported using proton-proton collision data collected with the LHCb detector at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to a luminosity of 9 fb^{-1}. The branching fraction B(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})=(3.09_{-0.43-0.11}^{+0.46+0.15})×10^{-9} and the effective lifetime τ(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})=2.07±0.29±0.03 ps are measured, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. No significant signal for B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ decays is found and upper limits B(B^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-})<2.6×10^{-10} and B(B_{s}^{0}→μ^{+}μ^{-}γ)<2.0×10^{-9} at the 95% C.L. are determined, where the latter is limited to the range m_{μμ}>4.9 GeV/c^{2}. The results are in agreement with the standard model expectations.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the role of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) in the development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in patients with prior hepatitis B virus infection (HBsAg-negative and anti-HBC-positive). Methods: 1605 hospitalized patients who were first diagnosed with HCC at Nanfang Hospital between 2015 to 2017 were retrospectively studied. Patients who developed HCC on the basis of active HBV infection (HBsAg-positive, anti-HBc positive) were used as control. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the relationship between NAFLD and HCC in patients with prior hepatitis B virus infection. Results: Among HCC patients with both HBsAg and anti-HCV negative, the proportion of prior HBV infection accounted for 86.7%. NAFLD prevalence was higher in patients with HCC based on prior HBV infection than active HBV infection (19.7% vs. 8.5%, P < 0.001). After adjusting for gender, age, hypertension, alanine aminotransferase, and liver cirrhosis, patients with HCC based on prior HBV infection were more likely to develop NAFLD (OR: 2.29, 95% CI: 1.40-3.74), and this phenomenon was observed only in patients with non-cirrhosis (OR: 5.26, 95% CI: 2.53-10.96) and aged≥50 years (OR: 2.36, 95% CI: 1.33-4.20). Conclusion: NAFLD may be a risk factor for HCC in a previously infected patients with HBV, especially in non-cirrhotic and population aged≥50 years.

Two divergent haplotypes from a highly heterozygous lychee genome suggest independent domestication events for early and late-maturing cultivars. Nat Genet 2022; 54:73-83. Abstract
Lychee is an exotic tropical fruit with a distinct flavor. The genome of cultivar ‘Feizixiao’ was assembled into 15 pseudochromosomes, totaling ~470 Mb. High heterozygosity (2.27%) resulted in two complete haplotypic assemblies. A total of 13,517 allelic genes (42.4%) were differentially expressed in diverse tissues. Analyses of 72 resequenced lychee accessions revealed two independent domestication events. The extremely early maturing cultivars preferentially aligned to one haplotype were domesticated from a wild population in Yunnan, whereas the late-maturing cultivars that mapped mostly to the second haplotype were domesticated independently from a wild population in Hainan. Early maturing cultivars were probably developed in Guangdong via hybridization between extremely early maturing cultivar and late-maturing cultivar individuals. Variable deletions of a 3.7 kb region encompassed by a pair of CONSTANS-like genes probably regulate fruit maturation differences among lychee cultivars. These genomic resources provide insights into the natural history of lychee domestication and will accelerate the improvement of lychee and related crops. Two divergent haplotypes from a highly heterozygous lychee genome of the cultivar ‘Feizixiao’ and resequencing of 72 lychee accessions provide insights into the genome evolution and domestication history of lychee.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the adaptability of Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) for a Chinese population, and evaluate the efficacy of combined CBIT and pharmacotherapy (CBIT + PT) compared to CBIT or pharmacotherapy (PT) alone for reducing tics and for improving the quality of life (QoL) in a sample of Chinese children with chronic tic disorders (CTD) and Tourette syndrome (TS). MATERIALS AND METHODS In this 10-week randomized controlled pilot trial, 37 outpatients aged between 6 and 16 years affected by TS and CTD were randomly assigned to receive CBIT (n = 22) or PT alone (n = 15). Considering the feasibility, the patients allocated to the CBIT treatment group could further choose whether to simultaneously take medicine voluntarily, resulting in a CBIT alone group (n = 12) and a CBIT + PT group (n = 10). RESULTS At baseline, no significant difference was found between the three groups in the demographic and clinical characteristics (p > 0.05). All three groups showed a significant reduction in tic severity after treatment assessed by the Yale Global Tic Severity Scale (YGTSS) severity score [F (2,33) = 35.05, p < 0.001, η p 2 = 0.51], the score of the Clinical Global Impression scale for Improvement (CGI-I) [F (1,34) = 13.87, p = 0.001, η p 2 = 0.29], and YGTSS impairment score [F (2,33) = 31.71, p < 0.001, η p 2 = 0.48]. Significant interactions were found between the time-point and group in emotional functioning [F (2,29) = 4.39, p = 0.02, η p 2 = 0.23], psychosocial functioning [F (2,29) = 5.93, p = 0.007, η p 2 = 0.29], and total QoL score [F (1,34) = 3.72, p = 0.04, η p 2 = 0.20] of Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL 4.0) for children suggesting a significantly larger improvement in emotional functioning, psychosocial functioning, and total QoL score of the life quality in the CBIT group for children self-report. PedsQL for proxy report only showed a significant main effect of time-point in physical functioning [F (1,33) = 8.35, p = 0.01, η p 2 = 0.2], emotional functioning [F (1,33) = 10.75, p = 0.002, η p 2 = 0.25], psychosocial functioning [F (1,34) = 11.38, p = 0.002, η p 2 = 0.26], and total Qol score [F (1,34) = 13.21, p = 0.001, η p 2 = 0.29]. CONCLUSION CBIT is probably effective in reducing tic severity in Chinese children with tic disorders. CBIT + PT may not be superior to CBIT alone in reducing tic severity and improving quality of life. CBIT alone showed advantages in improving quality of life over CBIT + PT and PT alone. CBIT might be an appropriate treatment option for patients with tic disorder in Chinese mainland.

Differences in Muscle Quantity and Quality by HIV Serostatus and Sex. J Frailty Aging 2022; 11:309-317. Abstract
OBJECTIVE People with HIV (PWH) experience greater declines in both muscle function and muscle mass with aging. Whether changes in muscle quality and quantity with aging differ between men and women with HIV and the implications on muscle function are not established. DESIGN In coordinated substudies of the Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study and Women's Interagency HIV Study, participants completed physical function and falls assessments; total trunk/thigh density, inversely related to fatty infiltration, and area were quantified from computed tomography (CT) scans. METHODS Generalized linear models were used to explore variables affecting density/area, and associations between area/density and physical function and falls. RESULTS CT scans were available on 387 men (198 PWH) and 184 women (118 PWH). HIV serostatus was associated with greater lateralis, paraspinal, and hamstring area, but lower psoas area and density. Older age and female sex were associated with smaller trunk muscle area and lower density. Both lower muscle area and muscle density were associated with several measures of impaired physical function. The odds of falling were lower with greater hamstring density, but not associated with other measurers of muscle area or density. CONCLUSIONS In summary, older adults with HIV appear to have smaller and less dense (fattier) psoas, a key component in truncal stability and hip flexion that could have implications on physical function. The longitudinal associations of muscle area and density with physical function require careful investigation, with a particular focus on characteristics and interventions that can preserve muscle area, density, and function over time.

Learning Curve of Closed Reduction and Internal Fixation for Supracondylar Fractures of the Humerus in Children. Front Pediatr 2022; 10:945616. Abstract
BACKGROUND This study aimed to identify the threshold for success in supracondylar humeral fracture surgery by describing the learning curve for beginners and exploring the relationship between the learning curve and the prognosis of supracondylar fractures of the humerus. METHODS Surgical information was collected of the first 100 humeral fractures treated by four pediatric orthopedic surgeons. The relationship between operation time, wire placement success rate, and surgical experience was determined using the restricted cubic strip (RCS). The inflection point in the curve and other risk factors that may affect fracture prognosis were collected and subjected to multiple logistic regression to clarify the relationship between the learning curve and prognosis of supracondylar fractures of the humerus. After the training, the four fresh surgeons were interviewed in the form of questionnaires to get feedback from the trainees. RESULTS A total of 400 supracondylar fractures of the humerus from four pediatric orthopedists were included in the study. On an RCS analysis, 65 surgical experiences were the inflection point of the learning curve. Before and after these 65 surgical experiences, there were significant differences in the patients' anatomical reduction (186 vs. 122, P < 0.001), conversion to incision (33 vs. 6, P = 0.008), and supervising physician guidance (28 vs. 2, P < 0.001). In the multiple logistic regression analysis, functional recovery after supracondylar fractures of the humerus was significantly associated with surgical experience, intraoperative conversion to incision, and post-operative infection. Four surgeons and a supervisor were interviewed. They believed that self-confidence establishment requires the experience accumulation of about 30 operations. The most critical surgical technique is the reduction of fractures. CONCLUSIONS Although the accumulated experience of 30 operations can establish the self-confidence of trainers, fresh surgeons must accumulate experience with 65 operations to master closed reduction and internal fixation for supracondylar fractures. Surgical experience significantly impacts the post-operative recovery of patients with fractures. LEVEL OF EVIDENCE Level III.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the effect of placenta previa attached to cesarean scar for adverse pregnant outcomes in patients with or without placenta accreta spectrum disorders (PAS). Methods: The clinical information of patients with cesarean section history and placenta previa during the perioperative period at Peking University First Hospital from January 1st, 2015 to December 31st, 2020 were collected retrospectively. There were 53 cases without PAS and 172 cases with PAS, 153 cases with abnormally invasive placenta (containing placenta increta and placenta percreta) and 72 cases without PAS or with placenta accreta. The pregnant outcomes including rate of postpartum hemorrhage, transfusion, hysterectomy between the above groups were compared. Multivariate analysis was performed to study the factors significantly associated with PAS. Results: Pregnant women with PAS were at higher risk of adverse pregnant outcomes than those without PAS. Patients with PAS had higher incidences of hysterectomy [12.2% (21/172) vs 0(0/53); P=0.005], postpartum hemorrhage [60.5% (104/172) vs 5.7% (3/53); P<0.01] and blood transfusion [66.9% (115/172) vs 7.5% (4/53); P<0.01]. In the subgroup analysis stratified by the type of PAS, patients with abnormally invasive placenta were at higher risk of hysterectomy [13.7% (21/153) vs 0 (0/72); P<0.01], postpartum hemorrhage [66.7% (102/153) vs 6.9% (5/72); χ²=70.873, P<0.01] and blood transfusion [74.5% (114/153) vs 6.9% (5/72); χ²=90.869, P<0.01]. After multiple logistic regression, the type of creta had the positive relation with postpartum hemorrhage (OR=27.622, 95%CI:9.873~77.280; P<0.01) and blood transfusion (OR=36.912, 95%CI:13.239~102.922; P<0.01). There were no significant correlations between adverse pregnant outcomes and the type of placenta previa or the times of cesarean section (all P>0.01). Conclusions: Placenta previa attached to cesarean scar without PAS or with placenta accreta could not act as the factor of predicting adverse pregnant outcomes in clinic. Placenta previa attached to cesarean scar with placenta increta or placenta percreta could increase the risk of adverse pregnant outcomes.

Abstract
Endometrial cancer (EC) is the fourth most common malignancy in women in developed countries. The prognosis of EC is extremely poor, and it is an important factor that contributes to the death of patients. Therefore, studying EC pathogenesis and therapeutic targets, and exploring effective drugs are the primary tasks to improve the prognosis of EC. In the present study, we aimed to explore the function of ginkgolic acid (GA) in EC cell apoptosis and autophagy through PI3K/Akt/mTOR signal pathway in vitro and in vivo. Firstly, MTT assay and clone formation assay were employed to analyze the Ishikawa and HEC-1-B cell viabilities and proliferation after treatment with GA. The results showed that GA inhibited endometrial cancer cell survival. Flow cytometry assay and western blot assay were applied to examine the apoptosis and apoptosis related protein Bcl-2, Bax, Cleaved caspase-3 expression levels of Ishikawa and HEC-1-B cells after treatment with GA. Next, we applied western blot assay to analyze the autophagy associated proteins LC3I, LC3II, p62 and Beclin-1 in GA treated Ishikawa and HEC-1-B cells. We found that GA promoted apoptosis and induced autophagy of endometrial cancer cells. Meanwhile, western blot assay was also used to determine the expression levels of the PI3K/Akt/mTOR signal pathway related protein and the results revealed that GA inhibited the activity of PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway. Finally, we found that GA inhibited tumor growth in vivo through immunohistochemistry assay. In conclusion, GA induces apoptosis and autophagy of EC cells via inhibiting PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway in vivo and vitro.

Acute and chronic effects of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) on postexercise intramuscular lipid metabolism in rats. Physiol Res 2021; 70:735-743. Abstract
Recovery from exercise refers to the period between the end of a bout of exercise and the subsequent return to a resting or recovered state. It is a dynamic period in which many physiological changes occur. A large amount of research has evaluated the effect of training on intramuscular lipid metabolism. However, data are limited regarding intramuscular lipid metabolism during the recovery period. In this study, lipid metabolism-related proteins were examined after a single bout of exercise in a time-dependent way to explore the mechanism of how exercise induces intramuscular lipid metabolism adaptation. Firstly, all rats in the exercise group underwent a five-week training protocol (HIIT, five times/week), and then performed a more intense HIIT session after 72 h of the last-time five-week training. After that, rats were sampled in a time-dependent way, including 0 h, 6 h, 12 h, 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, and 96 h following the acute training session. Our results discovered that five weeks of HIIT increased the content of intramuscular triglyceride (IMTG) and enhanced the lipolytic and lipogenesis-related proteins in skeletal muscle. Furthermore, IMTG content decreased immediately post HIIT and gradually increased to baseline levels 48 h postexercise, continuing to over-recover up to 96 h postexercise. Following acute exercise, lipolytic-related proteins showed an initial increase (6-12 h) before decreasing during recovery. Conversely, lipogenesis-related proteins decreased following exercise (6-12 h), then increased in the recovery period. Based on the changes, we speculate that skeletal muscle is predominated by lipid oxidative at the first 12 h postexercise. After this period, lipid synthesis-related proteins increased, which may be the result of body recovery. Together, these results may provide insight into how the lipid metabolism-related signaling changes after chronic and acute HIIT and how protein levels lipid metabolism correlates to IMTG recovery.

Abstract
The data of clinical characteristics, medical cost and prognosis of 22 anti-N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (anti-NMDAR) encephalitis children from the Department of Neurology, Capital Institute of Pediatrics between May 2018 and January 2021 were analyzed, and 6 of them occurred paroxysmal sympathetic hyperactivity syndrome (PSH). It was found that the anti-NMDAR encephalitis children with PSH had severer consciousness disorder [median Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score at admission: 7.5], longer duration of consciousness disorder (median time: 53 days), higher hospitalization cost (median cost: 230 000 RMB), severer neurological injury at onset [median modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score at admission: 4], and longer recovery time of neurological function (median time of mRS score recovered to 0-2: 7 months), compared with those without PSH (all P<0.05). Therefore, more attention should be paid to sympathetic excited symptoms of anti NMDAR encephalitis, and thus identify and intervene early on PSH to reduce the neurological damage and economic burden.

Abstract
Objective: To analyse the factors associated with the selection of breast- conserving surgery in early female patients with breast cancer. Methods: The targeted patients were females diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and received surgical treatment at Fujian Provincial Hospital from January 1, 2015, to December 31, 2019. The targeted patients' clinical, demographic, and social-economic characteristics were extracted from the hospital health information system. Relevant information of their attending surgeons was collected through a smart-phone based self-respond online survey. We performed multivariate logistic regression to explore the associated factors with breast-conserving surgery (BCS) decision-making. Results: The age of the patient and attending surgeon and the economic development level of the patient's residence area were the associated factors with BCS decision-making of female early-stage breast cancer. By controlling the other factors unchanged, patients from middle-income areas were more likely to accept BCS (OR=1.91, 95%CI: 1.01-3.62, P=0.05) than those from low-income areas. When the attending surgeon was at the average age of 45 years old, increasing of 1 year age of patient led to 4% decrease of the probability of BCS (95%CI: -0.07 - -0.01, P=0.01). When the patient was at the average age of 52 years old, increasing of 1 year age of the attending surgeon reduced 10% of the probability of BCS (95%CI: -0.19 - -0.01, P=0.03). The interaction effects related to the age of attending surgeon and patient for some observations to choose BCS were statistically significant, and the average interaction effect was 0.06% (Z=2.11, sx =0.000 3, P<0.05). Conclusion: To promote breast-conserving surgery in the indicated early female patients with breast cancer, it is necessary to consider factors from both the surgeons and the patients.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate longitudinal association between smoking behavior and obesity risk in male adults in China from 1991 to 2015. Methods: A total of 32 169 male adults aged 18-64 years who participated in two or more rounds of China Health and Nutrition Survey (CHNS, 1991-2015) and had complete information of demographic characteristics, smoking status and physical measurements were selected as the study subjects. According to whether the subjects smoked or not and the number of cigarettes smoked per day, the subjects were divided into four groups: nonsmoker, light smoker (1-14 cigarettes/d), moderate smoker (15-24 cigarettes/d) and heavy smoker (≥25 cigarettes/d). The distribution of body mass index (BMI), waist circumference (WC), general obesity and central obesity of subjects with different smoking status were observed. Two-level mixed effect linear regression model and logistic regression model were used to analyze the relationship between smoking status and obesity risk. Results: Compared with nonsmokers, the BMI decreased by 0.19 kg/m2 in light smokers (95%CI:-0.27--0.10), 0.40 kg/m2 in moderate smokers (95%CI:-0.49--0.31), and 0.36 kg/m2 in heavy smokers (95%CI:-0.53--0.19), respectively, and the WC decreased by 0.49 cm in light smokers (95%CI:-0.76--0.21), 0.80 cm in moderate smokers (95%CI:-1.08--0.51) and 0.79 cm in heavy smokers (95%CI:-1.38--0.36) in, respectively. Compared with nonsmokers, the odds ratio of the risk for general and abdominal obesity were 0.70 (95%CI:0.62-0.79) and 0.78 (95%CI:0.73-0.84) in light smokers, 0.61 (95%CI:0.55-0.69) and 0.74 (95%CI:0.70-0.79) in moderate smokers and 0.78 (95%CI:0.65-0.96) and 0.84 (95%CI:0.76-0.95) in heavy smokers, respectively. Conclusions: From 1991 to 2015, the BMI, WC, prevalence of general and abdominal obesity in male adults showed a significant upward trends in both nonsmokers and smokers (light, moderate and heavy) in China, suggesting that smoking is negatively associated with the risk for obesity in male adults.

Abstract
Virtual water is an important indicator measuring the amount of water needed from the perspective of consumption, which can help decision makers to identify desired system design and optimal management strategy against water resources shortage. In this study, a novel model named as factorial ecologically-extended input-output model (abbreviated as FEIOM) is developed for virtual water management. FEIOM integrates techniques of input-output model (IOM), ecological network analysis (ENA) and factorial analysis (FA) into a general framework. It is effective to evaluate the virtual water flows, reveal ecological inter-connections in virtual water system (VWS), and identify key water consumption sectors that have significant individual and interactive effects on VWS's performance. FEIOM is then applied to identifying optimal virtual water management strategies for Kazakhstan in Central Asia. The main findings are: (i) Kazakhstan is a net importer of virtual water (reaching up to 46.0 × 109 m3), demonstrating that the national economic structure is reasonable, which can abate the national water scarcity and improve its eco-environmental protection; (ii) the virtual water of agricultural sector is net exporter, where vegetables, fruits and nuts occupy 86% of the total agricultural exports; the massive export of water-intensive products further squeezes the water for other users; (iii) the key factors affecting the national VWS are agriculture > primary manufacturing > advanced manufacturing > services. Therefore, from solving water resources shortage and facilitating sustainable development perspectives, Kazakhstan should stimulate the domestic primary manufacturing productions and improve agriculture and advanced manufacturing water-use efficiencies.

Abstract
Objective The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of different degrees of maternal dietary energy restriction on lipid deposition in embryonic tissues during the medium laying period (37 to 39 weeks) in Arbor Acres (AA) broiler breeders. Methods A single factor design was adopted, and 400 AA broiler breeders (20 weeks of age) with a similar weight were randomly allocated into four groups. The birds in the control group were fed a corn-soybean meal based diet, and those in trial groups were fed diets with 80%, 70%, and 50% energy levels of the basal diet. Incubated eggs from the medium laying period were collected. Samples of developing embryos at various stages were prepared for composition analysis. Results The embryo weight in the 80% energy group was higher than those of the other groups on embryonic day (E) 13, but at 21 E, they were significantly decreased with decreasing energy intake of the broiler breeders (p<0.05). Additionally, the levels of crude fat in tissues in the restriction groups were significantly decreased (p<0.05). The long axis and area of adipocytes in breast muscle, thigh muscle and the liver were significantly decreased (p<0.05) at 21 E in the 80%, 70%, and 50% energy groups. Conclusion The effects of the 80% maternal dietary energy restriction energy affects egg production performance, egg quality, and nutrient deposition in egg weights, which then directly impacts on the developmental process of embryos, especially on fat utilization and deposition.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Understanding factors that influence patients' preferences towards oral cancer (OC) screening is imperative to provide high-quality evidence-based OC screening interventions that can be targeted for population-level uptake. This study determined adult patients' knowledge and awareness of OC, and how health behaviours influenced their preferences towards OC screening. METHODS This cross-sectional study used a 42-point questionnaire, between February and May 2020 using a combination of in-person and telephone interviews. Chi-square test and multiple logistic regression analysis were applied to confounding factors that returned statistical significance against OC knowledge and awareness. Significance of P < 0.05 was accepted. RESULTS Sixty-eight (38.6%) participants out of a total 176 had good knowledge of OC and 89 (50.6%) had good awareness. A total of 31.8% reported preference for OC screening by a general dental practitioner (GDP) over a general medical practitioner (GMP). Majority (72.7%) reported acceptance of OC screening at their next GDP visit. Ages 56-70 (OR = 0.357, 95% CI) and previous smokers (OR = 0.336, 95% CI) significantly influenced screening preferences. Knowledge of risk factors did not significantly influence OC screening preferences (χ2 = 3.178, P = 0.075). CONCLUSIONS Significant gaps in OC knowledge, screening and role of GDPs exist with smoking history and age influencing OC screening preferences.

Probing Gluon Spin-Momentum Correlations in Transversely Polarized Protons through Midrapidity Isolated Direct Photons in p^{↑}+p Collisions at sqrt[s]=200 GeV. Abstract
Studying spin-momentum correlations in hadronic collisions offers a glimpse into a three-dimensional picture of proton structure. The transverse single-spin asymmetry for midrapidity isolated direct photons in p^{↑}+p collisions at sqrt[s]=200 GeV is measured with the PHENIX detector at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). Because direct photons in particular are produced from the hard scattering and do not interact via the strong force, this measurement is a clean probe of initial-state spin-momentum correlations inside the proton and is in particular sensitive to gluon interference effects within the proton. This is the first time direct photons have been used as a probe of spin-momentum correlations at RHIC. The uncertainties on the results are a 50-fold improvement with respect to those of the one prior measurement for the same observable, from the Fermilab E704 experiment. These results constrain gluon spin-momentum correlations in transversely polarized protons.

Abstract
The branching fraction of the rare B_{s}^{0}→ϕμ^{+}μ^{-} decay is measured using data collected by the LHCb experiment at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8, and 13 TeV, corresponding to integrated luminosities of 1, 2, and 6 fb^{-1}, respectively. The branching fraction is reported in intervals of q^{2}, the square of the dimuon invariant mass. In the q^{2} region between 1.1 and 6.0 GeV^{2}/c^{4}, the measurement is found to lie 3.6 standard deviations below a standard model prediction based on a combination of light cone sum rule and lattice QCD calculations. In addition, the first observation of the rare B_{s}^{0}→f_{2}^{'}(1525)μ^{+}μ^{-} decay is reported with a statistical significance of 9 standard deviations and its branching fraction is determined.

Abstract
Objective: To establish the norm of the Chinese version of Karitane Parenting Confidence Scale (KPCS) in urban areas of China. Methods: From August to December 2017, the parents of 2 216 children (<36 months old) were selected from 15 cities (Beijing, Lianyungang, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Changsha, Jinan, Guiyang, Ningbo, Dalian, Qinhuangdao, Maanshan, Chongqing and Wuhan) in 14 provinces by stratified random sampling. The general demographic characteristics and parents' parenting confidence were collected by a self-made questionnaire and KPCS Chinese version. The percentile norm was established. P3, P10 and P25 were used as the criteria to define the degree of lack of parenting confidence. Results: The age of mothers was (30.67±4.29). The age of the father was (32.50±4.99) years old. There were 726 (32.76%), 759 (34.25%) and 731 (32.99%) infants in 6-12, 12-23 and 24-35 months old groups. The total scores of P50, P25, P10 and P3 of KPCS (Chinese version) of infant parents in urban areas in China were 41, 38, 33, and 29 respectively. When the scores of parents were 34-37, 30-33, and ≤ 29, they were judged as mild, moderate, and severe lack of parenting confidence. There was no significant difference in the Chinese version of KPCS between parents of different age groups and parents of different gender (χ²=3.53, P=0.171; χ²=1.41, P=0.236). Each factor score≤P3 is defined as the boundary score, and the corresponding boundary scores of "parenting" "support" and "competence" were 13, 9, and 5 respectively. Conclusion: The Chinese version of KPCS can be used to assess the parenting confidence of infants in urban areas of China. It can used as one of the bases for scientific and objective evaluation of the parenting status of families.

Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate whether the combination of garlic oil and cooked chilli oil is worth using for pigeon production in the context of a total ban on antibiotics in feed additives in China. Two hundred female white king pigeons aged 23 days were randomly divided into five groups with ten replicates (four birds each). In the 47 days trial, the control group was fed with a basal diet, treatment groups were given a basal diet supplemented with 20 mg/kg neomycin sulphate or 2 g/kg corresponding oil (garlic oil or cooked chilli oil or their mixture) respectively. The mixed oil showed obvious antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacterium and its minimal bactericidal concentration against St. aureus, Salmonella and Escherichia coli were all no more than 1.0 mg/ml. In the feeding experiment, pigeons feed with garlic oil with strong bacteriostatic activity had lower FCR and better protein metabolism, and chilli oil showed strong effects of promoting feed intake and weight gain on pigeons but increased serum glucose and lipid content. Compared with the control and the antibiotic group, the mixed oil got increased growth performance, less drip loss of meat, better protein metabolism promoting, and more complete intestinal structure of pigeon. In addition, the breast meat in the mixed oil group had higher total points in the sensory test. The mixed oil combined the strong bacteriostasis of garlic oil with the feeding promotion effect of cooked chilli oil, it improved the comprehensive performance of pigeons and had the feasibility to be popularized as a non-antibiotic strategy in pigeon production.
