Abstract
Objectives: To analyze the relationship between etiology and morphological classification of benign central airway stenosis and its prognosis. Methods: We performed a retrospective study of the medical records of 453 patients initially diagnosed with benign airway stenosis at Department of Respiratory Diseases in Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University from January 2003 to October 2019. Of 453 patients, 260 were male. The age of the study population was 12-86(44.0±24.5) years. Results: Among the 453 patients diagnosed with benign central airway stenosis, 161 case (35.5%, including 113 post-tracheostomy tracheal stenosis and 48 post-intubation tracheal stenosis) were iatrogenic; 88 cases were from benign tumors (19.4%), 77 cases from tracheal or bronchial tuberculosis (17.0%), 71 case from tracheal foreign bodies (15.7%). Disease causes varied among different gender or age groups. The main type of stenosis was structural stenosis, of which 241 cases (53.2%) were intra-luminal and 183 cases (40.4%) were scar contracture type. The site of stenosis showed a certain relationship with the causes of stenosis. The stenosis degree was mainly from grade 2 to grade 4 (76.4%), and the length was mainly within 3 cm (84.8%). Single factor analysis on the relationship between disease cause, morphological classification and prognosis of benign central airway stenosis showed statistically better prognosis in groups that were caused by benign tumor, intraductal stenosis or stenosis that were 3-4 in degree and 1-2 degree in length. Conclusion: The common causes of central airway stenosis included iatrogenic stenosis, benign tumor, tracheal or bronchial tuberculosis and tracheal foreign bodies. Benign airway stenosis with different disease causes and morphological classification had different prognosis after bronchoscopic interventional treatment. Clinicians should know the disease causes, morphological characterization and risk factors for benign airway stenosis for earlier diagnosis, treatment or prevention.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the normal ranges of perfusion parameters between cerebral hemisphere, cerebellar hemisphere and brain anatomical subregions (56 pairs) in different gender and age groups with multiple post labeling delay time (Multi-PLD) arterial spin labeling (ASL) imaging. Methods: From November 2020 to December 2020, 42 healthy adult volunteers (Male 25, Female 17) were recruited to perform 7 PLD ASL imaging, including 21 young adults (15 males and 6 females, aged 23-35 years) and 21 seniors (10 males and 11 females, aged 36-74 years). The data was processed offline by Cereflow software to obtain arterial arrival time (ATT) and corrected cerebral blood flow (CBF) and cerebral blood volume (CBV) perfusion parameters. SimpleITK standardization function was used to standardize the calculated perfusion image according to the anatomical automatic labeling (AAL) template. Therefore, CBF, ATT, CBV perfusion values of brain subregions were obtained. Paired samples t test, Wilcoxon rank sum test, independent samples t test and Mann-Whitney U test were used to compare the differences of perfusion parameters in the cerebral hemisphere, the cerebellar hemisphere, brain subregions depending on side, gender and age. Pearson correlation analysis was used to compare the correlations of perfusion parameters with age. Results: CBF in 62.5% (35/56) subregions and CBV in 44.6% (25/56) subregions were higher in right side than those in left side. ATT in most brain anatomical subregions (16/56) were higher in left side. The CBF [(35.30±8.31) vs. (34.34±7.53) ml·100g-1·min-1, P=0.021], CBV [(0.47±0.11) vs. (0.45±0.09) ml/100g, P<0.001], ATT [(1.30±0.10) vs. (1.24±0.11) s, P<0.001] in left cerebellar hemisphere were higher than that of right side. The CBF (28/56) of cerebral hemisphere, cerebellar hemisphere and brain subregions was higher in females than that in males, while ATT in 83.9% (47/56) subregions was lower than that in males (all P<0.05). CBV in female subjects was higher only in 5 brain regions (superior occipital gyrus, middle occipital gyrus, inferior occipital gyrus, superior parietal gyrus and cerebelum_7b) (all P<0.05). In young subjects, CBF in 44.6% (25/56) subregions and CBV in 33.9% (19/56) subregions were higher than those in the senior group (all P<0.05). The ATT in most subregions in young group were lower than those in senior group, but the difference was statistically significant only in rectus gyrus (P=0.026) and paracentral lobule (P=0.006). The CBF (r=-0.430, P=0.005) and CBV (r=-0.327, P=0.035) of cerebral hemisphere were negatively correlated with age. The CBF (24/25, r range:-0.497 --0.343, all P<0.05) and CBV (16/19, r range:-0.474 --0.322, all P<0.05) in most subregions were negatively correlated with age, while ATT was positively correlated (gyrus rectus: r=0.311, P=0.045; paracentral lobule: r=0.392, P=0.010). Conclusions: Multi-PLD ASL imaging could be applied for quantitative analysis of brain perfusion. The perfusion parameters of anatomical subregions are different depending on side, gender, and age.

Abstract
This study was undertaken for the development of novel techniques that are based on immunoneutralization of inhibin bioactivity to improve Holstein cow fertility. A series of 4 experiments were carried out on 2 farms that were located in subtropical or temperate regions, to test the effects of immunization against inhibin alpha subunit on cow fertility under varying degrees of heat stress conditions. Though immunization against inhibin alone improved conception rate (CR) after TAI moderately in cows under mild heat stress conditions, the treatment plus progesterone supplementation substantially enhanced CR in the range of 25 to 35 percentages from severe heat stress to comfortable weather conditions. There existed an additive effect between immunization against inhibin and progesterone supplementation that maximally enhanced CR. Further, immunization against inhibin increased both FSH and activin A concentrations in blood during both follicular and luteal phases. It also significantly increased blood concentrations of E2 in the follicular phase but decreased P4 concentrations during the early pregnancy. However, interferon-tau concentrations in blood around the time of pregnancy recognition were doubled in the inhibin immunized cows. In conclusion, immunization against inhibin plus P4 treatment enhances ovarian follicle and the subsequent early embryo developments that help to greatly improve the fertility of Holstein dairy cows.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Although the flow diverter has advantages in the treatment of intracranial aneurysms, pooled studies that directly compare it with conventional endovascular treatments are rare. PURPOSE Our aim was to compare the safety and efficacy of flow-diverter and conventional endovascular treatments in intracranial aneurysms. DATA SOURCES We performed a comprehensive search of the literature using PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Database. STUDY SELECTION We included only studies that directly compared the angiographic and clinical outcomes of flow-diverter and conventional endovascular treatments. DATA ANALYSIS Random effects or fixed effects meta-analysis was used to pool the cumulative rate of short- and long-term angiographic and clinical outcomes. DATA SYNTHESIS Eighteen studies with 1001 patients with flow diverters and 1133 patients with conventional endovascular treatments were included; 1015 and 1201 aneurysm procedures were performed, respectively. The flow-diverter group had aneurysms of a larger size (standard mean difference, 0.22; 95% CI, 0.03-0.41; P = .026). There was a higher risk of complications in the flow-diverter group compared with the conventional endovascular group (OR, 1.4; 95% CI, 1.01-1.96; P = .045) during procedures. The follow-up angiographic results of flow-diverter treatment indicated a higher rate of complete occlusion (OR, 2.55; 95% CI, 1.70-3.83; P < .001) and lower rates of recurrence (OR, 0.24; 95% CI, 0.12-0.46; P < .001) and retreatment (OR, 0.31; 95% CI, 0.21-0.47; P < .001). LIMITATIONS Limitations include a retrospective, observational design in some studies, high heterogeneity, and selection bias. CONCLUSIONS Compared with the conventional endovascular treatments, the placement of a flow diverter may lead to more procedure-related complications, but there is no difference in safety, and it is more effective in the long term.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the choroidal blood flow and visual function in idiopathic macular hole. Methods: In this prospective study, fundus structure and visual function in 22 eyes with macular hole and their fellow eyes and 16 normal eyes were assessed. The best corrected visual acuity and retinal sensitivity were detected by the EDTRS visual chart and MP1. The choroidal blood flow was observed by optical coherence tomography angiography. The choriocapillary blood flow density was measured using MatLab. The thickness of the choroid and the aperture size of macular hole were measured using enhanced depth imaging mode of Heidelberg optical coherence tomography. Results: The best corrected visual acuity and retinal sensitivity of macular hole eyes [1.02±0.20 and (13.03±2.91) dB] were significantly lower than fellow eyes [0.15±0.11, t=17.019, P<0.001 and (17.25±2.03) dB, t=-4.085, P<0.001] and normal eyes [0.04±0.05, t=21.736, P=0.001 and (16.63±2.89) dB, t=-3.134, P=0.004]. The blood flow area of choroidal capillaries in macular hole eyes [(1.33±0.29) mm2] was significantly lower than fellow eyes [(1.98±0.13) mm2; t=-9.424, P<0.001] and normal eyes [(1.93±0.12) mm2; t=-8.707, P<0.001]. The paracentral blood vessel density of the choroid capillary layer in macular hole eyes (48.91%±10.12%) was significantly lower than fellow eyes (58.27%±6.18%; t=-3.502, P=0.001) and normal eyes (55.20%±2.12%; t=-2.830, P=0.020). The subfoveal choroidal thickness of macular hole eyes [(188±21) μm] was significantly lower than fellow eyes [(217±36) μm; t=-3.672, P=0.002] and normal eyes [(229±25) μm; t=-3.304, P<0.001]. The basic diameter of macular hole eyes was correlated with the blood vessel density (r=-0.584, P=0.004), the subfoveal choroidal thickness (r=-0.511, P=0.015) and the retinal sensitivity (r=-0.432, P=0.044). The retinal sensitivity was correlated with the blood vessel density (r=0.450, P=0.035) and the subfoveal choroidal thickness (r=0.429, P=0.046). Conclusions: The retinal sensitivity and fundus blood perfusion of idiopathic macular hole was decreased, and the thickness of paracentral choroid in the contralateral eye tended to become thinner. The reduced visual function in eyes with macular hole may be associated with the decreased choroidal thickness and worse blood flow of fundus microcirculation.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the survival, complications and prognostic factors in patients with stageⅠb2 and Ⅱa2 cervical squamous cell carcinoma treated by primarily radical surgery with or without postoperative adjuvant therapy. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of patients with stageⅠb2 and Ⅱa2 cervical squamous cell carcinoma treated in the Cancer Hospital of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences from January 2015 to January 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent Querleu-Morrow classification (Q-M classification) C2 radical surgery, including extensive hysterectomy+pelvic lymphadenectomy with or without adjuvant therapy based on postoperative risk factors. Survival rate was calculated by Kaplan-Meier method and survival curve was drawn. Univariate analysis was performed by using the log-rank test to analyze the clinicopathological factors related to the prognosis of patients. Multivariate analysis was performed by using Cox regression method to analyze independent risk factors affecting survival prognosis. Results: (1) The median age of 643 patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma was 50 years old (45-58 years old). Clinical stage: 260 cases (40.4%, 260/643) of stage Ⅰb2, 383 cases (59.6%, 383/643) of stage Ⅱa2. (2) Among 643 cases underwent Q-M classification C2 surgery, 574 cases (89.3%, 574/643) of them received adjuvant therapy and 184 cases (28.6%, 184/643) of them had grade 3-4 complications after treatment, including 134 cases (20.8%, 134/643) early complications and 66 cases (10.3%, 66/643) late complications. The incidence of grade 3-4 complications in 574 patients received postoperative adjuvant therapy was 30.1% (173/574), which was significantly different from that in 69 patients who received surgery alone (15.9%, 11/69; χ²=6.08, P=0.014). (3) All 643 cases were followed up, and the median follow-up time was 40 months (3-76 months). During the follow-up period, 117 cases (18.2%, 117/643) recurred, including 45 cases (7.0%, 45/643) of local recurrence, 54 cases (8.4%, 54/643) of distant metastasis, and 18 cases (2.8%, 18/643) of local recurrence and distant metastasis. The 5-year progression-free survival (PFS) and 5-year overall survival (OS) rates of patients with stage Ⅰb2 and Ⅱa2 cervical squamous cell carcinoma were 79.9% and 85.5%, respectively. Univariate analysis showed that pelvic lymph node metastasis, para-aortic lymph node metastasis, deep stromal infiltration, and lymph-vascular space invasion were significantly associated with 5-year PFS in patients with stage Ⅰb2 and Ⅱa2 cervical squamous cell carcinoma (all P<0.05). The maximum diameter of tumor, pelvic lymph node metastasis and para-aortic lymph node metastasis were significantly associated with the 5-year OS of cervical squamous cell carcinoma in stages Ⅰb2 and Ⅱa2 (all P<0.05). Multivariate analysis showed that pelvic lymph node metastasis and para-aortic lymph node metastasis were independent factors affecting 5-year PFS and 5-year OS in patients with stage Ⅰb2 and Ⅱa2 cervical squamous cell carcinoma (all P<0.01). Conclusion: Radical surgery is a feasible and effective primary treatment for stagesⅠb2 and Ⅱa2 cervical squamous cell carcinoma, with a high 5-year survival rate and an acceptable complication rate.

Abstract
The clinical data of 61 patients of salivary duct carcinoma admitted to the First Medical Centre of Chinese PLA General Hospital from January 2010 to December 2020 were retrospectively reviewed. A total of 55 patients (90.2%) were male and 6 (9.8%) were female. There were 51 patients (83.6%) aged≥50 years. The primary tumor of 45 patients (73.8%) were from the parotid gland. There were 35 patients (57.4%) who had cervical lymph node metastasis and 25 patients (41.0%) had distant metastasis. All patients underwent surgery and 50 of them (82.0%) received adjuvant radiotherapy. The 3-year and 5-year survival rates were 58.0% and 43.3%, respectively. Compared with the patients who had undergone surgery only, the survival rates of those who had postoperative adjuvant radiotherapy and chemoradiotherapy were higher. It can be seen that radical surgical treatment is necessary, and postoperative radiotherapy can reduce the recurrence rate and increase the survival rate to a certain extent.

Abstract
Although the immunomodulatory and cytoprotective properties of itaconate have been studied extensively, it is not known whether its naturally occurring isomers mesaconate and citraconate have similar properties. Here, we show that itaconate is partially converted to mesaconate intracellularly and that mesaconate accumulation in macrophage activation depends on prior itaconate synthesis. When added to human cells in supraphysiological concentrations, all three isomers reduce lactate levels, whereas itaconate is the strongest succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) inhibitor. In cells infected with influenza A virus (IAV), all three isomers profoundly alter amino acid metabolism, modulate cytokine/chemokine release and reduce interferon signalling, oxidative stress and the release of viral particles. Of the three isomers, citraconate is the strongest electrophile and nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2 (NRF2) agonist. Only citraconate inhibits catalysis of itaconate by cis-aconitate decarboxylase (ACOD1), probably by competitive binding to the substrate-binding site. These results reveal mesaconate and citraconate as immunomodulatory, anti-oxidative and antiviral compounds, and citraconate as the first naturally occurring ACOD1 inhibitor.

Abstract
AIMS REVEAL was the first randomized controlled trial to demonstrate that adding cholesteryl ester transfer protein inhibitor therapy to intensive statin therapy reduced the risk of major coronary events. We now report results from extended follow-up beyond the scheduled study treatment period. METHODS AND RESULTS A total of 30 449 adults with prior atherosclerotic vascular disease were randomly allocated to anacetrapib 100 mg daily or matching placebo, in addition to open-label atorvastatin therapy. After stopping the randomly allocated treatment, 26 129 survivors entered a post-trial follow-up period, blind to their original treatment allocation. The primary outcome was first post-randomization major coronary event (i.e. coronary death, myocardial infarction, or coronary revascularization) during the in-trial and post-trial treatment periods, with analysis by intention-to-treat. Allocation to anacetrapib conferred a 9% [95% confidence interval (CI) 3-15%; P = 0.004] proportional reduction in the incidence of major coronary events during the study treatment period (median 4.1 years). During extended follow-up (median 2.2 years), there was a further 20% (95% CI 10-29%; P < 0.001) reduction. Overall, there was a 12% (95% CI 7-17%, P < 0.001) proportional reduction in major coronary events during the overall follow-up period (median 6.3 years), corresponding to a 1.8% (95% CI 1.0-2.6%) absolute reduction. There were no significant effects on non-vascular mortality, site-specific cancer, or other serious adverse events. Morbidity follow-up was obtained for 25 784 (99%) participants. CONCLUSION The beneficial effects of anacetrapib on major coronary events increased with longer follow-up, and no adverse effects emerged on non-vascular mortality or morbidity. These findings illustrate the importance of sufficiently long treatment and follow-up duration in randomized trials of lipid-modifying agents to assess their full benefits and potential harms. Abstract
Subgroup J Avian leukosis virus (ALV-J) is an important pathogen of poultry tumor diseases. Since its discovery, it has caused significant economic losses to the poultry industry. Thus, the rapid detection of molecular level with strong specificity is particularly important whether poultry are infected with ALV-J. In this study, we designed primers and probe for real-time fluorescent reverse-transcription recombinase-aided amplification assay (RT-RAA) based on the ALV-J gp85 sequence. We had established a real-time fluorescent RT-RAA method and confirmed this system by verifying the specificity and sensitivity of the primers and probe. In addition, repeatability tests and clinical sample regression tests were used for preliminary evaluation of this detection method. The sensitivity of established method was about 101 copies/μL, and the repeatability of the CV of the CT value is 4%, indicating repeatability is good. Moreover, there was no cross-reactivity with NDV, IBV, IBDV, H9N2, MDV, and REV, and other avian leukosis virus subgroups, such as subgroups A, B, C, D, K and E. Importantly, the real-time fluorescent RT-RAA completed the test within 30 min at a constant temperature of 41°C. Forty-two clinical samples with known background were tested, and the test results were coincided with 100%. Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the safety and efficacy of transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) with the novel Prizvalve® system in treating severe aortic stenosis. Methods: This is a single-center, prospective, single-arm, observational study. A total of 11 patients with severe aortic stenosis with high risk or inappropriate for conventional surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) were included, and TAVI was achieved with the Prizvalve® system between March 2021 and May 2021 in West China Hospital. Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) was performed immediately after prosthesis implantation to evaluate mean transaortic gradient and maximal transaortic velocity. The device success rate was calculated, which was defined as (1) the device being delivered via the access, deployed, implanted and withdrawn, (2) mean transaortic gradient<20 mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa) or a maximal transaortic velocity<3 m/s post TAVI, and without severe aortic regurgitation or paravalvular leak post TAVI. TTE was performed at 30 days after the surgery, and all-cause mortality as well as the major cardiovascular adverse events (including acute myocardial infarction, disabling hemorrhagic or ischemic stroke) up to 30 days post TAVI were analyzed. Results: The age of 11 included patients were (78.1±6.3) years, with 8 males. A total of 10 patients were with NYHA functional class Ⅲ or Ⅳ. Devices were delivered via the access, deployed, implanted and withdrawn successfully in all patients. Post-implant mean transaortic gradient was (7.55±4.08) mmHg and maximal transaortic velocity was (1.78±0.44) m/s, and both decreased significantly as compared to baseline levels (both P<0.05). No severe aortic regurgitation or paravalvular leak was observed post TAVI. Device success was achieved in all the 11 patients. No patient died or experienced major cardiovascular adverse events up to 30 days post TAVI. Mean transaortic gradient was (9.45±5.07) mmHg and maximal transaortic velocity was (2.05±0.42) m/s at 30 days post TAVI, which were similar as the values measured immediately post TAVI (both P>0.05). Conclusions: TAVI with the Prizvalve® system is a feasible and relatively safe procedure for patients with severe aortic stenosis and at high risk or inappropriate for SAVR. Further clinical studies could be launched to obtain more clinical experience with Prizvalve® system.

Abstract
AIMS Klebsiella pneumoniae has been reported to develop increased antibiotic resistance. Ceftazidime-avibactam (CZA) is a novel antibiotic with activity against serine-lactamase. Here, we investigated the sensitivity of carbapenem-resistant K. pneumoniae (CRKP) to CZA and the mechanisms of drug resistance in our hospital. METHODS AND RESULTS Patient characteristics were obtained from medical records. K. pneumoniae and its antibiotic susceptibility were determined using the Vitek-2 Compact instrument. The antibiotic resistance genes KPC, NDM, OXA-48, VIM, IMP, CIM, SPM, TMB, SMB, SIM, AIM and DIM were detected using real-time PCR. Multilocus sequence typing was used for genetic RELATEDNESS analysis. In total, 121 CRKP strains were isolated from patients in the intensive care unit (51·2%), senior ward (12·4%) and neurosurgery department (10%). With an average age of 72·5 years, most patients were in care for respiratory (34·7%), brain (20·7%), digestive tract (13·2%) and cardiovascular (8·3%) diseases. Specimens were predominantly obtained from sputum (39·67%), urine (29·75%) and blood (6·61%). CONCLUSION Of 23 CZA-resistant CRKP strains (19·01%), ST11 being the most common at 56·52%, 11 NDM-1-positive (47·83%) and four NDM-5-positive (17·39%) strains were detected. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY Our study indicates that CZA resistance occurs in ~19·01% CRKP strains and that blaNDM-1 and blaNDM-5 might be critical for resistance.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To compare the effectiveness of loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay and microscopic examinations for detection of Schistosoma japonicum infections in Oncomelania hupensis in transmission-interrupted regions, so as to provide insights into the optimization of snail surveillance tools in these regions. METHODS Four hilly schistosomiasis-endemic villages where transmission interruption was achieved were selected in Heqing County of Yunnan Province as the study villages, including Xinzhuang and Gule villages in hilly regions and Lianyi and Yitou villages in dam regions. Snail survey was performed by means of systematic sampling combined with environmental sampling in July 2018. All captured snails were identified for S. japonicum infections using microscopy. In addition, 10 to 20 snails were randomly sampled from each snail habitat following microscopy, numbered according to environments and subjected to LAMP assay. The positive rate of settings with S. japonicum-infected snails was compared among villages. RESULTS A total of 7 949 living snails were captured from 83 snail habitats in 4 villages, and no S. japonicum infection was detected in snails. There were 226 mixed samples containing 1 786 snails subjected to LAMP assay, and positive LAMP assay was found in 3 mixed samples from 3 snail habitats in 2 dam villages. The positive rates of settings with S. japonicum-infected snails were comparable between Lianyi Village (one setting) and Yitou Village (2 set tings) (5.89% vs. 14.29%, P = 0.344). However, the overall positive rate of settings with S. japonicum-infected snails was significantly higher in dam villages (9.67%, 3/31) than in hilly villages (0) (P = 0.048). CONCLUSIONS LAMP assay is more sensitive to detect S. japonicum infections in O. hupensis than conventional microcopy method, which may serve as a supplementary method for detection of S. japonicum infections in O. hupensis in high-risk snail habitats in hilly transmission-interrupted regions.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the serum cyclic polypeptide biomarkers for ovarian cancer diagnosis. Methods: A total of 54 patients with epithelial ovarian cancer confirmed by pathology in Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences from March 2018 to September 2018 were selected as the study subjects, and 40 healthy women with normal examination results in the cancer screening center were selected as the control. All of the samples were randomly divided into training set and validation set at the ratio of 1∶1 with a random number. Matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) combined with magnetic bead technology was used for detecting peptide profiling in serum samples to screen significantly differently expressed peptides between ovarian cancer group and control group of the training set (score>5). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was used to screen differential peptide peaks with area under curve (AUC) ≥0.8, sensitivity and specificity>90% in the training set and validation set. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was further used to determine the composition of differentially expressed peptides. Results: By comparing the peptide profiles of the two groups, 102 differential peptide peaks were initially detected in the mass-to-charge ratio range of 1 000 to 10 000. ROC curve analysis showed that there were 42 differential peptide peaks with AUC ≥0.8 in both training set and validation set, 19 of which were highly expressed in ovarian cancer group, and 23 were lowly expressed. There were 15 different peptide peaks in highly expressed ovarian cancer group with sensitivity and specificity over 90%. The mass-to-charge ratios were 7 744.27, 5 913.41, 5 329.87, 4 634.21, 4 202.02, 3 879.26, 3 273.35, 3 253.79, 3 234.34, 2 950.33, 2 664.51, 2 018.38, 1 893.37, 1 498.69 and 1 287.55. There were 15 different peptide peaks in lowly expressed ovarian cancer group with sensitivity and specificity over 90%, the mass-to-charge ratios were 9 288.46, 7 759.77, 5 925.24, 4 652.77, 4 210.42, 3 887.02, 3 279.90, 3 240.82, 2 962.15, 2 932.70, 2 022.42, 1 897.16, 1 501.69, 1 337.38 and 1 290.13. No protein composition was identified in 15 different peptide peaks in lowly expressed ovarian cancer group. The two protein compositions identified in 15 different peptide peaks in highly expressed ovarian cancer group were recombinant serglycin (SRGN) and fibinogen alpha chain (FGA), the mass-to-charge ratios of which were 1 498.696 and 5 913.417, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity of the two proteins for ovarian cancer diagnosis were 100%, 100% and 90.9%, 100%, respectively. Conclusion: SRGN and FGA are highly expressed in the serum of ovarian cancer patients, which may be potential diagnostic markers for ovarian cancer.
