Electrochemical modeling and evaluation for textile electrodes to skin

BACKGROUND

With the development of wearable health-monitoring technologies, a variety of textile electrodes have been produced and applied by researchers. However, there are no universal and effective methods even testing platforms for evaluating the skin-electrode electrochemical interface for textile electrodes because different human bodies have different skin characteristics.

METHODS

An electrochemical modeling and evaluation for textile electrodes to skin was proposed, and two electrochemical evaluation platforms (EEP) were set up based on two simulated skin models (SSM). First, skin-electrode electrochemical interface (SEEI) models for traditional wet electrodes and textile electrodes were analyzed. Based on the SEEI models and YY/T 0196-2005 (Chinese YY/T pharmaceutical industry standard for disposable ECG electrode), three skin-electrode electrochemical characteristics (SEEC), including skin-electrode static impedance (SESI), skin-electrode alternating current impedance (SEAI), and skin-electrode polarization voltage (SEPV), were proposed. Then, three electrochemical evaluation methods for textile electrodes to skin were proposed and analyzed, which were the correlation between SEEC and skin-electrode contact pressure (SECP), skin-electrode relative movement (SERM), and conduction loss of active signals (CLAS). Finally, an electrochemical evaluation platform was set up based on an active simulated skin model (ASSM) and passive simulated skin model (PSSM).

RESULTS

9 feature parameters based on the passive electrochemical evaluation platform (PEEP) and 11 feature parameters based on the active electrochemical evaluation platform (AEEP) were obtained for evaluating textile electrodes. And four kinds of textile electrode characteristics including SEEC, SECP, SERM, and CLAS were quantitatively measured based on the electrochemical evaluation platform, and the testing accuracy and range for these characteristics were measured separately. Finally, correlation between SEEC and SECP for 10 kinds of textile electrode samples was studied, and 14 electrochemical characteristics and four skin-electrode contact pressure characteristics were extracted. Experimental results showed that significant correlations were found between six SEEC characteristics and SECP characteristics, and the correlation coefficient between ACI_3 and USECP was the highest. And the polarization voltages of most dry electrode samples showed a downward trend with the increase of contact pressure.

CONCLUSIONS

The electrochemical evaluation platform yielded effective experimental data and could provide strong support for the evaluation and application of textile electrodes, which was also effective in evaluating other bioelectric electrodes such as 3M electrode, stainless steel electrode, dry electrode and microneedle electrode.

Memory T cells: strategies for optimizing tumor immunotherapy

Several studies have demonstrated that memory T cells including stem cell memory (Tscm) T cells and central memory (Tcm) T cells show superior persistence and antitumor immunity compared with effector memory T (Tem) cells and effector T (Teff) cells. Furthermore, the Tcm/Teff ratio has been reported to be a predictive biomarker of immune responses against some tumors. Thus, a system-level understanding of the mechanisms underlying the differentiation of effector and memory T cells is of increasing importance for developing immunological strategies against various tumors. This review focuses on recent advances in efficacy against tumors, the origin, formation mechanisms of memory T cells, and the role of the gut microbiota in memory T cell formation. Furthermore, we summarize strategies to generate memory T cells in (ex) vivo that, might be applicable in clinical practice.

Salivary Cortisol Determination on Smartphone-Based Differential Pulse Voltammetry System

Cortisol is commonly used as a significant biomarker of psychological or physical stress. With the accelerated pace of life, non-invasive cortisol detection at the point of care (POC) is in high demand for personal health monitoring. In this paper, an ultrasensitive immunosensor using gold nanoparticles/molybdenum disulfide/gold nanoparticles (AuNPs/MoS2/AuNPs) as transducer was explored for non-invasive salivary cortisol monitoring at POC with the miniaturized differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) system based on a smartphone. Covalent binding of cortisol antibody (CORT-Ab) onto the AuNPs/MoS2/AuNPs transducer was achieved through the self-assembled monolayer of specially designed polyethylene glycol (PEG, SH-PEG-COOH). Non-specific binding was avoided by passivating the surface with ethanolamine. The miniaturized portable DPV system was utilized for human salivary cortisol detection. A series current response of different cortisol concentrations decreased and exhibited a linear range of 0.5-200 nM, the detection limit of 0.11 nM, and high sensitivity of 30 μA M-1 with a regression coefficient of 0.9947. Cortisol was also distinguished successfully from the other substances in saliva. The recovery ratio of spiked human salivary cortisol and the variation of salivary cortisol level during one day indicated the practicability of the immunosensor based on the portable system. The results demonstrated the excellent performance of the smartphone-based immunosensor system and its great potential application for non-invasive human salivary cortisol detection at POC.

Nanochannel Templated Iridium Oxide Nanostructures for Wide-Range pH Sensing from Solutions to Human Skin Surface

Herein we report the fabrication of highly sensitive solid-state pH sensors based on iridium oxide nanowires (IONWs) for a wide-range of pH measurements. IONWs were confined electrodeposits on the indium tin oxide (ITO) electrode using a highly ordered silica nanochannel membrane as the template. Subsequently removing the template produced amorphous IONWs consisting of hydrated iridium oxyhydroxides. The IONW/ITO sensor can rapidly respond to the pH of the aqueous solutions in a wide range (from 0 to 13), avoiding the acid and alkaline errors encountered by conventional pH electrodes and exhibiting a super-Nernst analytical sensitivity as high as 235.5 mV/pH in the very acidic range of ∼0-2.5 and 90.1 mV/pH beyond (pH = ∼2.5-13). The sensitivity was associated with the interconversion of oxidation states of iridium oxyhydroxides. While in the very acidic range, intercalation of Cl^- was proved to be responsible for the exceptionally high pH sensitivity. Moreover, the sensor was also demonstrated to work in organic solutions too. Finally, the flexible IONW/ITO electrode was prepared and interfaced to a wireless electrochemical device for real-time epidermal pH analysis with smartphones.

Prediction and identification of novel HLA-A*0201-restricted cytotoxic T lymphocyte epitopes from endocan

Background

Prediction and identification of cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) epitopes from tumor associated antigens is a crucial step for the development of tumor immunotherapy strategy. Endocan has been identified as antigen overexpressed in various tumors.

Methods

In this experiment, we predicted and identified HLA-A2-restricted CTL epitopes from endocan by using the following procedures. Firstly, we predicted the epitopes from the amino acid sequence of endocan by computer-based methods; Secondly, we determined the affinity of the predicted peptide with HLA-A2.1 molecule by peptide-binding assay; Thirdly, we elicited the primary T cell response against the predicted peptides in vitro; Lastly, we tested the specific CTLs toward endocan and HLA-A2.1 positive target cells.

Results

These data demonstrated that peptides of endocan containing residues 4–12 and 9–17 could elicit specific CTLs producing interferon-γ and cytotoxicity.

Conclusions

Therefore, our findings suggested that the predicted peptides were novel HLA-A2.1-restricted CTL epitopes, and might provide promising target for tumor immunotherapy.

Nrdp1 increases neuron apoptosis via downregulation of Bruce following intracerebral haemorrhage

Background

Neuregulin receptor degradation protein-1 (Nrdp1) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that plays an important role in regulating cell growth, apoptosis and oxidative stress. However, the data regarding its expression and exact mechanism in neuronal injury following ICH has not been well identified.

Methods

In this study, primary cortical neurons from C57BL/6 mice were subjected to erythrocyte lysates. Nrdp1 expression, cell apoptosis, caspase-3 and BRUCE levels were detected. In addition, inflammatory response, brain edema, and neurological injury in ICH mice were also assessed.

Results

We found that the expression of Nrdp1 was significantly increased in neuron cells accompanied by up-regulation of active caspase-3 and decreased expression of BRUCE (an inhibitor of apoptosis protein). However, inhibiting Nrdp1 levels of neurons reduced caspase-3 activity but induced up-regulation of BRUCE. In vivo, inhibiting Nrdp1 levels increased pro-inflammatory cytokines, brain edema, and neurological injury following ICH.

Conclusions

Taken together, the data suggested that Nrdp1 might play a crucial role in neuronal apoptosis via inhibiting BRUCE following ICH.

Synergistic effect of STAT3‑targeted small interfering RNA and AZD0530 against glioblastoma in vitro and in vivo

The aim of this study was to explore the synergistic effect of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3)-targeted small interfering (si)RNA and AZD0530 against glioblastoma in vitro and in vivo. Glioblastoma cell lines U87 and U251 were divided into four groups and treated with control, LV-STAT3 siRNA, AZD0530, and combined LV-STAT3 siRNA with AZD0530, respectively. The proliferation and apoptotic capacity of glioblastoma cells was assessed by Cell Counting Kit-8 and double staining flow cytometry assays, respectively. Additionally, the potential effect of LV-STAT3 siRNA and AZD0530 on glioblastoma was evaluated in vivo. Images were captured of the tumor formation in mice every week. Following three weeks of treatment, NMR scan and immunohistochemistry were performed. The treatment of combined LV-STAT3 siRNA and AZD0530 was more effective in inhibiting proliferation and inducing apoptosisof glioblastoma cells in comparison with the treatment of either LV-STAT3 siRNA or AZD0530 alone. Although LV-STAT3 siRNA or AZD0530 treatment alone suppressed tumor growth in mice, the combined treatment had a more significant effect than the treatment of LV-STAT3 siRNA or AZD0530 alone. According to the results of both in vitro and in vivo assays, a combined therapy of LV-STAT3 siRNA with AZD0530 could enhance therapeutic effects on glioblastoma, supporting the idea that the combination of LV-STAT3 siRNA and AZD0530 could serve as a novel and effective strategy to combat glioblastoma.

E3 ubiquitin ligase Nedd4 is a key negative regulator for non-canonical inflammasome activation

The non-canonical inflammasome plays important roles in endotoxic shock and pyroptosis. Murine caspase-11, corresponding to human caspase-4, is centrally located in the non-canonical inflammasome pathway, which is directly activated by cytosolic lipopolysaccharide. It has been reported that ubiquitination strictly regulates inflammatory responses. However, the role of ubiquitination in regulating the non-canonical inflammasome is little known. In this study, we show that the E3 ubiquitin ligase, Nedd4 is an important negative regulatory component of the non-canonical inflammasome pathway. Nedd4 deficiency promoted mouse death from sepsis and cell pyroptosis, resulting from non-canonical inflammasome activation. Furthermore, Nedd4 induced the K48-linked polyubiquitination and subsequent degradation of caspase-11 through the 26S proteasome. Meanwhile, caspase-11 (or caspase-4) reciprocally regulated the level of Nedd4 protein by cleavage. Thus, Nedd4 appears to have a key role in balancing the level of non-canonical inflammasome activation in response to gram-negative bacterial infection.

MicroRNA-372 functions as a tumor suppressor in cell invasion, migration and epithelial-mesenchymal transition by targeting ATAD2 in renal cell carcinoma

In recent years, renal cell carcinoma (RCC) has exhibited an increasing incidence and mortality rate worldwide. Accumulating evidence has identified that microRNAs (miRNAs) function as negative or positive regulators of many malignant tumors; however, the roles of miR-372 in RCC remain unclear. The focus of the present study was the functions of miR-372 in RCC metastasis and EMT. Data revealed that miR-372 expression levels were significantly downregulated in RCC tissue samples and cells. Moreover, the decreased expression levels were strongly associated with the poor survival rates and adverse clinical characteristics of RCC patients. Accordingly, miR-372 overexpression markedly inhibited RCC cell invasion, migration and EMT. In terms of the potential mechanisms, ATAD2, the expression of which was inversely correlated with miR-372 expression in RCC, was identified as a direct functional target of miR-372. Notably, ATAD2 silence exerted suppressive functions in RCC cells, being similar to the effects of miR-372 overexpression. In conclusion, findings of this study indicate that miR-372 repressed RCC EMT and metastasis via targeting ATAD2, suggesting that the miR-372/ATAD2 axis may be therapeutic biomarkers for RCC.

Smartphone-based differential pulse amperometry system for real-time monitoring of levodopa with carbon nanotubes and gold nanoparticles modified screen-printing electrodes

Parkinson's disease caused by lack of dopamine in brain is a common neurodegenerative disorder. The traditional treatment is to replenish levodopa since it could pass through blood brain barrier and form dopamine. However, its accumulation can cause patients' movement disorders and uncontrollable emotion. Therefore, it is critical to control the levodopa dosage accuracy to improve the curative effect in clinical. In this study, a smartphone-based electrochemical detection system was developed for rapid monitoring of levodopa. The system involved a disposable sensor, a hand-held electrochemical detector, and a smartphone with designed application. Single-wall carbon nanotubes and gold nanoparticles modified screen-printed electrodes were used to convert and amplify the electrochemical current signals upon presence of levodopa molecules. The electrochemical detectors were used to generate electrochemical excitation signals and detect the resultant currents. Smartphone was connected to the detector, which was used to control the detector, calculate data, and plot graph in real-time. The smartphone-based differential pulse amperometry system was demonstrated to monitor levodopa at concentrations as low as 0.5 µM in human serum. Furthermore, it has also been verified to be able to distinguish levodopa from other representative substances in the body. Therefore, its performance was more sensitive and rapid than electrochemical workstation. With these advantages, the system can be used in the field of point-of-care testing (POCT) to detect levodopa and provide the possibility to solve clinical demand for levodopa detection.

miR-145-5p inhibits the proliferation and migration of bladder cancer cells by targeting TAGLN2

MicroRNA-145-5p (miR-145-5p) is found to be involved in tumor development and progression. However, there are few studies on the effects of miR-145-5p on bladder cancer (BC). The role of miR-145-5p in BC was predicted by analysis of cell proliferation and migration in this study. The miR-145-5p and transgelin-2 (TAGLN2) expressions were evaluated via reverse transcription-quantitative PCR (RT-qPCR) or western blot analysis. The MTT and Transwell assay assessed cell proliferation and migration. TAGLN2 targeted to miR-145-5p was determined using luciferase assays. The results showed that the miR-145-5p downregulation was found in BC. miR-145-5p overexpression inhibited cell proliferation and migration in BC. Moreover, miR-145-5p directly targeted TAGLN2, and TAGLN2 expression was increased in BC. In addition, the high expression of TAGLN2 promoted cell proliferation and migration in BC. miR-145-5p appeared to regulate TAGLN2 in BC, and it also inhibited the cell proliferation and migration. The novel miR-145-5p/TAGLN2 axis may provide new therapeutic implications for BC.

Novel Elastic Syndesmosis Hook Plate Fixation Versus Routine Screw Fixation for Syndesmosis Injury

Unstable external-rotation type ankle fractures with concomitant syndesmosis injury commonly occur. Syndesmosis screw fixation has long been regarded as a reference standard treatment for syndesmosis injury. However, its complications and biomechanical disadvantages have become controversial; thus, we designed a novel elastic syndesmosis hook plate (ESHP) that combines the features of both rigidity and flexibility. The purpose of the present study was to introduce this new method and compare its clinical outcomes with those of routine screw fixation. We randomized 25 patients to the screw fixation group and ESHP group. The average follow-up period was 12 months. The clinical outcomes included malreduction or loss of reduction, overall complications, and function. During the follow-up period, 3 cases (25%) of malreduction were found in screw fixation group on postoperative computed tomography. In the ESHP group, only 1 patient (7.69%) had a narrowed anterior gap between the distal tibia and fibula. However, the difference in the malreduction rate between the 2 groups was not significant statistically (p = .32). The overall complication rate in the ESHP group was lower than that in the screw group, although no significant differences were found between the 2 groups. The mean visual analog scale scores in the ESHP and screw groups were 1.46 ± 1.33 and 2.42 ± 2.07, respectively. The average dorsiflexion range of motion in both groups was satisfactory (14.77° versus 12.83°; p = .16). However, a statistically significant difference was found in the plantarflexion range of motion between the 2 groups (p < .05). In addition, the ESHP group had an earlier time to return to work (p < .05). The ESHP fixation construct can stably fix syndesmosis, retain the physiologic micromotion function of the syndesmosis, and results in fewer complications compared with routine syndesmosis screw fixation for syndesmotic instability. In conclusion, our results have shown ESHP to be a viable method for treatment of syndesmosis instability.

Smartphone-based integrated voltammetry system for simultaneous detection of ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid with graphene and gold nanoparticles modified screen-printed electrodes

Ascorbic acid, dopamine, and uric acid are important electroactive biomolecules for health monitoring and they coexist in serum or urine. Their quantitative determination by electrochemistry could provide the accurate reference for diseases diagnosis and treatment. However, the traditional electrochemical workstations are too large for on-field inspection. Hence, the design of handheld electrochemical system for the detection of biomolecules is significant for point-of-care testing (POCT). In this paper, a smartphone-based integrated voltammetry system using modified electrode was developed for simultaneous detection of biomolecules. The system contained a disposable sensor, a coin-size detector, and a smartphone equipped with application program. Screen-printed electrodes were used as sensors for the detection, on which reduced graphene oxide and gold nanoparticles were electrochemically deposited by the system. The detector was used with voltammetric methods, in which excitation voltage was applied on the sensors and subsequent current responses were detected. The smartphone is the core component to communicate with the detector, calculate data, and plot voltammograms in real-time. Then, the system was applied to detect standard solutions of the biomolecules and their mixtures as examples. The results showed that the peak currents of each substance increased with higher concentration and the method allowed the discrimination of the different potentials of the studied species. Finally, the practical applications of the system were tested through detections of the biomolecules in artificial urine. The results exhibited that the system could be used to detect electrochemical activity of biomolecules with linear, high sensitivity, and specific responses in point-of-care testing.

Is there any efficient reading strategy when using text signals for navigation in a long document?

Purpose

Since researchers have utilized text signals to develop a mass of within-document visualization analysis tools for reading aid in a long document, there is an increasing need to study the relationship between readers’ behavior of using text signals for navigation and their reading performance in the tools. The purpose of this paper is to combine the text signals using behavior and reading performance in two kinds of analysis tools to verify their relationship and discover whether there is any efficient reading strategy when using text signals to navigate a long document.

Design/methodology/approach

The methodology is a case study. The authors reviewed related literature first. After explaining the design ideas, interface and functions of THC-DAT and BOOKMARK, which are two reading tools utilizing two main kinds of text signals, one utilizing topics and the other utilizing headings for reading aid, a case study was presented to collect click data on the text signals of participants and their reading effectiveness (score) and efficiency (time).

Findings

The results confirm that the text signals using behavior for navigation has a significant impact on reading efficiency and no impact on reading effectiveness in both BOOKMARK and THC-DAT. The discrete degree of clicks behavior on text signals has an impact on reading efficiency. The using behavior of different types of text signals has different impacts on reading efficiency.

Research limitations/implications

Using text signals for navigation time evenly can help improve reading efficiency. And a basic strategy suggested to readers is focusing on reducing their time to find answers when using text signals for navigation in a long document. As to utilizing the two different kinds of text signals, readers can have different strategies. Accordingly, personalized recommendation based on interval of adjacent clicks will help to improve computer-aided reading tools.

Originality/value

This paper combines the text signals using behavior for navigation and reading performance in two kinds of visual analysis tools, studied the relationship between them and discovers some efficient reading strategies when using text signals for navigation to read a long document.

Resveratrol-mediated apoptosis in renal cell carcinoma via the p53/AMP‑activated protein kinase/mammalian target of rapamycin autophagy signaling pathway

Resveratrol, known as phytoalexin, is a natural compound. Clinical studies have revealed that resveratrol has a variety of effects including anti‑inflammatory, antivirus and tumor suppressor activities. It has been reported that it may serve an important role in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) however, the molecular mechanism underlying resveratrol‑induced apoptosis in RCC is still unclear. The aim of the present study was to determine whether resveratrol could suppress RCC progression. Analysis of apoptosis demonstrated that resveratrol may act as a RCC suppressor in a dose‑ and time‑dependent manner. In addition, the results of the MTT and cell migration experiments revealed that resveratrol significantly decreased cell viability and migration. In addition, the expression of the anti‑apoptosis gene B‑cell lymphoma 2 (Bcl‑2) was downregulated by resveratrol, and the expression of pro‑apoptosis gene Bcl‑2‑associated X was upregulated at the mRNA and protein levels. Resveratrol also promoted the expression of p53 and activated phospho‑AMP‑activated protein kinase (AMPK). The phosphorylation of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) was inhibited and the autophagy‑associated genes, light chain 3, autophagy related (ATG)5 and ATG7, were upregulated at the mRNA and protein levels. In conclusion, resveratrol suppressed RCC viability and migration, and promoted RCC apoptosis via the p53/AMPK/mTOR‑induced autophagy signaling pathway.

E3 ubiquitin ligase Nedd4 inhibits AP-1 activity and TNF-α production through targeting p38α for polyubiquitination and subsequent degradation

p38α plays an important role in many inflammatory diseases, such as skin inflammation, endotoxic shock and arthritis. Ubiquitination is a vital posttranslational modification of proteins and plays a crucial regulatory role in inflammatory cells. It has been reported that ubiquitination of Tak1 and TAB1 upstream of p38α can regulate p38α activation respectively. However, p38α ubiquitination is not yet clear. In this paper, we showed that E3 ubiquitin ligase Nedd4 is a regulatory component of the p38α pathway and is responsible for polyubiquitination of p38α through K48-linked and K63-linked polyubiquitination. The levels of p38α and its downstream target TNF-α were increased in Nedd4 deficient macrophages response to LPS compared with wild-type cells. AP-1 activity and degradation of p38α were induced by Nedd4 in a dose-dependent manner. Furthermore, we found that phosphorylation of p38α is involved in the interactions between p38α and Nedd4 and subsequently promotes polyubiquitination of p38α, especially K48-linked polyubiquitination by Nedd4. The different conformation of two p38α isoforms (p38αV1 and p38αV2) might be the cause of their different interactions with Nedd4 and their polyubiquitination sites by Nedd4. Thus, NEDD4 is a previously unknown component of the p38α signaling complex necessary for TNF-α activation.

Two epitopes responsible for the catalytic activity of heme oxygenase-1 identified by phage display

Heme oxygenase‐1 (HO‐1) catalyzes the oxidative degradation of heme. The catalytic mechanism of the HO‐1 reaction has been determined gradually by studies of its crystal structure and HO‐1 mutants. However, the neutralizing epitopes responsible for HO‐1 activity remain elusive. Screening of a phage display library revealed four epitopes that could interact with the polyclonal antibody prepared by immunizing rabbits with the purified HO‐1 protein. Two of these four epitopes are responsible for HO‐1 catalytic activity because their antibodies were able to neutralize HO‐1 activity. The results of the present study shed further light on the molecular character of HO‐1.

The prognostic value of vascular endothelial growth factor in patients with renal cell carcinoma: a systematic review of the literature and meta-analysis

OBJECTIVE

Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) serum level or tumor expression may be prognostic in renal cell carcinoma (RCC). The purpose of this meta-analysis was to examine the prognostic value of serum VEGF level and tumor expression in patients with RCC.

METHODS

PubMed and EMBASE databases were searched until September 26, 2016. Prospective and retrospective studies of RCC patients that had VEGF levels measured were included. Outcome measures were overall survival (OS), disease-specific survival (DSS), and progression-free survival (PFS).

RESULTS

A total of 14 studies were included in the meta-analysis. In patients with RCC, elevated serum VEGF level was not associated with OS (pooled hazard ratio [HR] = 1.16; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.52 to 2.60; p = 0.716), but was associated with poor DSS (pooled HR = 4.22; 95% CI: 2.02 to 8.79; p < 0.001) and PFS (pooled HR = 1.50; 95% CI: 1.22 to 1.85; p < 0.001). Removal of one study, however, resulted in elevated serum level being associated with poorer OS. Tumor VEGF expression was not associated with OS (pooled HR = 1.48; 95% CI: 0.74 to 2.95; p = 0.263), but was associated with worse DSS (pooled HR = 1.83; 95% CI: 1.24 to 2.71; p = 0.003).

CONCLUSION

In patients with RCC, elevated serum VEGF level is associated with worse OS, DSS, and PFS, while tumor expression is only associated with worse DSS. The number of studies, however, was limited and the results should be interpreted with caution.

Observation of Λ_{c}^{+}→nK_{S}^{0}π^{+}

We report the first direct measurement of decays of the Λ_{c}^{+} baryon involving the neutron. The analysis is performed using 567  pb^{-1} of e^{+}e^{-} collision data collected at sqrt[s]=4.599  GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. We observe the decay Λ_{c}^{+}→nK_{S}^{0}π^{+} and measure the absolute branching fraction to be B(Λ_{c}^{+}→nK_{S}^{0}π^{+})=[1.82±0.23(stat)±0.11(syst)]%. A comparison to B[Λ_{c}^{+}→p(K[over ¯]π)^{0}] provides an important test of isospin symmetry and final state interactions.
