Abstract
We evaluated the effects of an intra-aortic balloon pump on hemodynamics, brain natriuretic peptide concentration and cardiac function of patients with acute myocardial infarction, after reperfusion therapy. Sixty-three patients with acute anterior wall ST-elevation myocardial infarction who underwent primary percutaneous coronary intervention were given an intra-aortic balloon pump (32 cases) or not (control group, 31 cases). The mean pulmonary arterial pressure, pulmonary capillary wedge pressure and cardiac index were measured with a Swan-Ganz catheter. The brain natriuretic peptide concentration was detected by immunochemiluminometric assay. Left ventricular end-diastolic diameter and left ventricular ejection fraction were measured by echocardiography. No difference in baseline was observed between the two groups on day 1 in the hospital. On day 5, mean pulmonary artery pressure and pulmonary capillary wedge pressure of patients with the intra-aortic balloon pump were significantly lower, and cardiac index of was higher than that of the controls, whereas no differences in left ventricular end-diastolic diameter or left ventricular ejection fraction were observed between the two groups. On days 5 and 90, the brain natriuretic peptide concentration of the intra-aortic balloon pump patients was lower than that of the controls. On day 90, left ventricular end-diastolic diameter was smaller in the intra-aortic balloon pump patients, but no difference in left ventricular ejection fraction was observed between the two groups. The intra-aortic balloon pump improved the hemodynamic index and cardiac function and decreased brain natriuretic peptide concentration in patients with acute anterior wall ST-elevation myocardial infarction.

Abstract
The conductive properties of single natural λ-DNA molecules are studied by torsion tunneling atomic force microscopy (TR-TUNA). The currents both parallel to and perpendicular to the DNA chains are investigated, but only weak or even no current signals are detected by TR-TUNA. To improve the conductance of DNA molecules, silver and copper metallized DNAs are fabricated and their conductivities are checked by TR-TUNA. It is found that for both Cu- and Ag-DNAs, the conductivity perpendicular to the DNA chain is enhanced significantly as the metal clusters are attached to the DNA chains. But parallel to the chain the electrical transport is still weak, most probably due to the 'beads-on-a-string' constructions of metallized DNAs.

Abstract
In this paper, we describe the design, fabrication and gas-sensing tests of nano-coaxial p-Co3O4/n-TiO2 heterojunction. Specifically, uniform TiO2 nanotubular arrays have been assembled by anodization and used as templates for generation of the Co3O4 one-dimensional nanorods. The structure morphology and composition of as-prepared products have been characterized by SEM, XRD, TEM, and XPS. A possible growth mechanism governing the formation of such nano-coaxial heterojunctions is proposed. The TiO2 nanotube sensor shows a normal n-type response to reducing ethanol gas, whereas TiO2-Co3O4 exhibits p-type response with excellent sensing performances. This conversion of sensing behavior can be explained by the formation of p-n heterojunction structures. A possible sensing mechanism is also illustrated, which can provide theoretical guidance for the further development of advanced gas-sensitive materials with p-n heterojunction.

Abstract
Weaning is associated with reduced intestinal absorptive capacity in piglets. Our previous study indicated that dietary supplementation with N-carbamylglutamate (NCG) enhanced growth performance and improved intestinal function in weaned piglets. The present study was conducted to test the hypothesis that dietary supplementation with NCG may increase the growth performance of weaned piglets by regulating the expression of intestinal nutrient transporters, thus enhancing nutrient absorption. Twenty-four Huanjiang mini-pig piglets weaned at 21 d of age (3.17 ± 0.21 kg average BW) were randomly assigned to 2 dietary treatments consisting of a basal diet and the basal diet with 0.1% NCG supplementation for a 14-d period with 6 pens per treatment and 1 male and 1 female per pen. On d 14, 1 piglet was randomly selected from each pen for blood and tissue sampling. Dietary NCG supplementation enhanced (P < 0.05) growth rate and the efficiency of feed use in weaned Huanjiang mini-pig piglets. The NCG-supplemented diet increased (P < 0.05) mRNA expression levels of Slc6a19, Slc7a9, and Slc1a1 and the protein abundance of ASCT2, B(0)AT1, b(0,+)AT, y(+)LAT1, and EAAC1 in the jejunum. Furthermore, the contents of low density lipoprotein, ammonia, urea nitrogen, and AA as well as the activity of alkaline phosphatase in plasma were all altered (P < 0.05) by supplementation with NCG. These findings indicate that dietary supplementation with NCG may improve intestinal absorptive function in weaned piglets by increasing the expression of AA transporters in the intestine.

Abstract
Atomic force microscopy imaging combined with selective chemical etching is employed to quantitatively investigate three-dimensional (3D) composition distributions of single GeSi quantum rings (QRs). In addition, the 3D quantitative composition distributions and the corresponding conductance distributions are simultaneously obtained on the same single GeSi QRs by conductive atomic force microscopy combined with selective chemical etching, allowing us to investigate the correlations between the conductance and composition distributions of single QRs. The results show that the QRs' central holes have higher Ge content, but exhibit lower conductance, indicating that the QRs' conductance distribution is not consistent with their composition distribution. By comparing the topography, composition and conductance profiles of the same single QRs before and after different etching processes, it is found that the conductance distributions of GeSi QRs do not vary with the change of composition distribution. Instead, the QRs' conductance distributions are found to be consistent with their topographic shapes, which can be supposed to be due to the shape determined electronic structures.

Abstract
Previous studies have demonstrated that Lactobacillus has anti-inflammatory properties, but the protective functions of Lactobacillus and mechanisms of inhibition of necrotic enteritis (NE) in the intestines of chickens have not been fully clarified. In the present study, we selected a probiotic strain, Lactobacillus fermentum 1.2029, which has good adhesive ability and a high survival rate in low pH and bile salts. The objective of this study was to examine the anti-inflammatory properties of L. fermentum 1.2029 against NE in chickens. Two hundred forty 1-d-old male Arbor Acres broilers were blocked into 3 experimental groups as follows: (I) nonchallenge control group, (II) Clostridium perfringens challenge group, and (III) C. perfringens challenge + L. fermentum 1.2029 group. Lactobacillus fermentum 1.2029 (1.0 mL/d, 10(8) cfu/mL) was orally administered daily to group III during the course of the experiment, and all uninfected control chickens were inoculated accordingly with the same volume of PBS. Clostridium perfringens (0.5 mL on d 1 and 1.0 mL on d 14 to 21, 10(8) cfu/mL) was administered to chickens in group II. At 28 d, scoring of gross NE lesions was performed. Ileal segments of approximately 2 cm from 24 chickens in each experimental group were collected and fixed in 4% (wt/vol) neutral-buffered formalin solution for histological scoring. Ileal mucosa samples were also collected for mRNA analysis by real-time PCR. The results showed that L. fermentum 1.2029 reduced the severity of NE lesions in chickens. Histological scores revealed that L. fermentum 1.2029 also reduced the inflammation damage of NE in chickens. Changes in cytokines and Toll-like receptors (TLR) were determined, and L. fermentum 1.2029 was found to increase interleukin-10 levels and reduce interferon-γ and TLR2 levels in NE-infected chickens. The results showed that L. fermentum 1.2029 was able to regulate the intestinal mucosal immune response and ameliorate inflammation by changing expression levels of cytokines and TLR.

Abstract
We investigated the molecular beam epitaxy growth of three-dimensional (3D) Ge quantum dot crystals (QDCs) on periodically pit-patterned Si substrates. A series of factors influencing the growth of QDCs were investigated in detail and the optimized growth conditions were found. The growth of the Si buffer layer and the first quantum dot (QD) layer play a key role in the growth of QDCs. The pit facet inclination angle decreased with increasing buffer layer thickness, and its optimized value was found to be around 21°, ensuring that all the QDs in the first layer nucleate within the pits. A large Ge deposition amount in the first QD layer favors strain build-up by QDs, size uniformity of QDs and hence periodicity of the strain distribution; a thin Si spacer layer favors strain correlation along the growth direction; both effects contribute to the vertical ordering of the QDCs. Results obtained by atomic force microscopy and cross-sectional transmission electron microscopy showed that 3D ordering was achieved in the Ge QDCs with the highest ever areal dot density of 1.2 × 10(10) cm(-2), and that the lateral and the vertical interdot spacing were ~10 and ~2.5 nm, respectively.

Abstract
By employing sanguinarine, a natural active quaternary isoquinoline alkaloid, as a model molecule, a series of structurally simple quaternary 2-aryl-3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-2-ium compounds were designed and synthesized and evaluated for in vitro acaricidal activity against P. cuniculi. A new approach towards the title compounds was developed with isochroman as starting material. The results showed that 22 of 24 tested compounds displayed the activity in varying degrees at 0.4 mg/mL. Fourteen compounds were significantly more effective than ivermectin, a standard acaricide, and 6-methoxy dihydrosanguinarine, a derivative of sanguinarine (p<0.05). And their comprehensive relative activity was 1.4 to 16.5 times than that of ivermectin and 1.5 to 18.8 times than that of 6-methoxy dihydrosanguinarine. The structure-activity relationship indicated that the introduction of a substituent to N-benzene ring, especially halogen atom and trifluoromethyl group, led to great improvement of the activity. The position of fluorine atom, methyl group and hydroxyl group made very significant effects on the activity. It was concluded that 2-aryl-3,4-dihydroisoquinolin-2-iums are very promising candidates for the development of new isoquinoline acaricidal agents.

Abstract
This study was conducted to the determine fermentation characteristics of soybean oligosaccharides (SBOS) in an in vitro system. Digesta collected from the colon of Huanjiang mini-pigs was used as inoculums, and SBOS (0.2 g per 10 mL fermentation broth) was used as substrate during the in vitro fermentation. The inoculum or inoculum + glucose (0.2 g) was used as negative or positive control, respectively. The slurry was fermented in an anaerobic chamber and gas production (GP) recording was taken after 48 h of incubation by referring to the moving scale on the plunger of the glass syringes, and then GP parameters, pH value, NH(3)-N content, short chain fatty acid (SCFA) levels, and microbial community in the fermentation broth were determined. For gas production parameters, pH, and fermentation product determination after 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 28, 32, 36, 42, and 48 h of incubation, SBOS and glucose demonstrated similar responses compared to control including increase maximal gas production, decreased lag time, decreased pH, and accumulation of NH(3) and increased SCFA. The exception was rate of GP, which was higher (P < 0.05) for SBOS compared with glucose. Incubation with SBOS increased (P < 0.05) the microbial diversity and population of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus but decreased (P < 0.05) Escherichia and Streptococcus when compared with incubation with glucose. These findings suggested that the SBOS can improve the gut microbiota balance in colon and modulate its metabolism.

Abstract
From the ethyl acetate extract of the culture broth of Talaromyces verruculosus, a rhizosphere fungus of Stellera chamaejasme L., (−)-8-hydroxy-3-(4-hydroxypentyl)-3,4-dihydroisocoumarin (1) and (E)-3-(2,5-dioxo-3-(propan-2-ylidene)pyrrolidin-1-yl)acrylic acid (2) were isolated and evaluated for their antimicrobial activities. Their structures were elucidated by UV, IR, MS, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and 2D NMR spectra. Compound 1 exhibited the significant activities in vitro against two strains of bacteria and four strains of fungi. Compound 2 gave slight activities on the fungi at 100 µg mL−1, but no activities on the bacteria. Compound 1 should be considered as a new lead or model compound to develop new isocoumarin antimicrobial agents.

Abstract
Sanguinarine (1) and chelerythrine (2) are two quaternary benzo[c]phenanthridine alkaloids (QBAs). Eighteen derivatives of 1 and 2 were synthesized by modification of C=N(+) bond and evaluated for their in vitro acaricidal activity against Psoroptes cuniculi, a mange mite. A new method was developed to prepare 6-alkoxy dihydro derivatives of 1 and 2 (1a-e, 2a-e). Among all the compounds, only 6-alkoxy dihydrosanguinarines (1a-e) showed significant acaricidal activity at 5.0 mg/mL and 1a possessed the strongest activity (50% lethal concentrations (LC(50))=339.70±0.75 mg/L, 50% lethal time (LT(50))=6.53±0.04 h), comparable with a standard drug ivermectin (LC(50)=168.19±11.79 mg/L, LT(50)=16.54±0.11 h). The iminium moiety in 1 and 2 was proven to be the determinant for their acaricidal properties. 6-Alkoxy dihydro derivatives (1a-e, 2a-e) were prodrugs of 1 and 2. Compared with 7,8-dimethoxy groups, 7,8-methylenedioxy group was able to significantly improve the bioactivity. The present results suggested that QBAs are promising candidates or lead compounds for the development of new isoquinoline acaricidal agents.

Abstract
A series of K(0.8)Fe(2-δ-x)Zn(x)Se(2) single-crystal samples with nominal compositions 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.05 were grown and their physical properties were measured in order to study the effect of Zn impurity. It is found that the Zn impurity (x ≤ 0.02) does not affect the superconducting transition temperature T(c) significantly. Meanwhile the hump in resistivity which corresponds to the transition from the insulating to metallic phase quickly shifts towards low temperatures. The results imply that there should be a phase separation in this system and Zn impurity causes the enhancement of the insulating phase. The negligible effect of Zn impurity on T(c) suggests an s-wave pairing in the superconducting phase. Meanwhile there is a possibility that the Zn impurity may selectively enter into the insulting phase.

Abstract
Immune stress is the loss of immune homeostasis caused by external forces. The purpose of this experiment was to investigate the effects of immune stress on the growth performance, small intestinal enzymes and peristalsis rate, and mRNA expression of nutrient transporters in broiler chickens. Four hundred and thirty-two 1-d-old broilers (Cobb500) were randomly assigned to four groups for treatment; each group included nine cages with 12 birds per cage. Group 1 = no vaccine (NV); Group 2 = conventional vaccine (CV); group 3 = lipopolysaccharide (LPS)+conventional vaccine (LPS); group 4 = cyclophosphamide (CYP)+conventional vaccine (CYP). The results demonstrated that immune stress by LPS and CYP reduced body weight gain (BWG), feed intake (FI), small intestine peristalsis rate and sIgA content in small intestinal digesta (p<0.05). However, the feed conversion ratio (FCR) remained unchanged during the feeding period. LPS and CYP increased intestinal enzyme activity, relative expression of SGLT-1, CaBP-D28k and L-FABP mRNAs (p<0.05). LPS and CYP injection had a negative effect on the growth performance of healthy broiler chickens. The present study demonstrated that NV and CV could improve growth performance while enzyme activity in small intestine and relative expression of nutrient transporter mRNA of NV and CV were decreased in the conditions of a controlled rational feeding environment. It is generally recommended that broilers only need to be vaccinated for the diseases to which they might be exposed.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Atrial fibrillation is the most common significant cardiac arrhythmia in clinical practice, but its risk factors remain to be clarified. We have hypothesized that left ventricular posterior wall thickness is an independent risk factor for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (PAF). METHODS A total of 166 consecutive patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation were included in this study. Another 166 healthy check-up people, strictly age and sex-matched, were enrolled as controls in the same period. Univariable analysis and multivariable conditional logistic stepwise regression analysis were conducted. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed on those significant indices obtained from the multivariable logistic regression analysis. RESULTS The multivariable stepwise analysis identified left ventricular posterior wall thickness, left atrial diameter tricuspid insufficiency and residence (countryside) as independent predictors for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis demonstrated the cutoff values of those risk factors aforementioned. CONCLUSIONS In this strictly age and sex-matched population-based sample, left ventricular posterior wall thickness, left atrial diameter, tricuspid insufficiency and residence were predictive risks for paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. This study offers novel information therapeutically beyond that provided by traditional clinical atrial fibrillation risk factors.

Abstract
This retrospective study examined 220 Chinese chronic hepatitis B virus carriers over 5 years. After initial liver biopsy, liver function tests and serological analysis, patients underwent further tests of liver function and hepatitis B seromarkers at 6-month intervals. Second and third liver biopsies were performed in 56 and 23 patients, respectively. Liver pathology was classified according to inflammatory activity (G(0) - G(4)) and degree of fibrosis (S(0) - S(4)). A significantly greater proportion of hepatitis B e antigen antibody-positive patients had a more severe level of inflammation and fibrosis than patients who were hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg)-positive. Abnormal inflammation (≥ G(2)) occurred in 122 (55.5%) patients. Hepatitis B reactivation occurred in 35 (15.9%) patients: 33 had obvious liver inflammation at the initial biopsy (≥ G(2)) and only two had a low level of liver inflammation (G(0) - G(1)). The hepatitis B reactivation rate was significantly related to age but not to gender. Hepatitis B surface antigen clearance was 1.55% per year and HBeAg seroconversion was 5.36% per year. In conclusion, hepatitis B reactivation was closely correlated with age and the level of liver inflammation.

In this study, five derivatives of sanguinarine (1) and chelerythrine (2) were prepared, with 1 and 2 as starting materials, by reduction, oxidation and nucleophilic addition to the iminium bond C=N+. The structures of all compounds were elucidated on account of their MS, ¹H-NMR and ¹³C-NMR data. The antibacterial activities of all compounds were screened, using Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Aeromonas hydrophila and Pasteurella multocida as test bacteria. The minimum bacteriostatic concentration and minimum bactericidal concentration of the active compounds were determined by the turbidity method. The structure-activity relationships of 1 and 2 were discussed. The results showed that 1, 2 and their pseudoalcoholates were found to be potent inhibitors to S. aureus, E. coli and A. hydrophila, while the other derivatives were found to be inactive. The pseudoalcoholates might be the prodrugs of 1 and 2. The iminium bond in the molecules of 1 or 2 was the determinant for antibacterial activity, and the substituents at the 7 and 8 positions influenced the antibacterial activities of 1 and 2 against different bacteria.

Abstract
This study investigated major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC-I) antigen expression on peripheral blood T-cells after transplantation to assess its potential as an early marker of acute graft rejection (AGR). Using a mouse model with or without immunosuppressive treatment, the expression of MHC-I antigens on CD3(+)CD8(+) T-lymphocytes was assessed by flow cytometry following syngeneic graft (n = 138) or allograft (n = 138) skin transplantation. The occurrence of AGR was assessed by examining the degree of lymphocyte and monocyte infiltration in transplant biopsies. During AGR, expression of MHC-I antigens increased significantly compared with pre-transplant levels in the allograft group, even with immunosuppressive treatment. The highest expression of MHC-I antigens occurred 5 - 6 days before macroscopic rejection. These results suggest that expression of MHC-I antigens on peripheral blood CD3(+)CD8(+) T-lymphocytes could be used as an early marker for predicting AGR.

Abstract
Data from 66 patients ≥ 60 years old with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD) were studied to determine the diagnostic value of an abnormal increase in postexercise systolic blood pressure (SBP) for detecting CAD in gerontal patients. Treadmill exercise testing (TET) and selective coronary angiography (CAG) were carried out and SBP was measured pre-TET and at each minute during a 6-min post-TET recovery phase. Abnormal increase in postexercise SBP was defined as a higher SBP compared with that measured earlier during the 6-min post-TET period. An abnormal increase of ≥ 7 mmHg in postexercise SBP had a statistically significantly better specificity, and also showed higher sensitivity and accuracy, than ST-segment depression ≥ 1 mV in identifying gerontal patients with CAD. The combination of ST-segment depression and abnormal SBP resulted in further improvement of the specificity for detecting CAD. It is concluded that measurement of abnormal increase in postexercise SBP may be a sensitive indicator of gerontal CAD.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the role of serum basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF), estradiol (E2) and urine bFGF in differentiating infantile haemangiomas from vascular malformations. METHOD Between October 2007 and January 2009, 97 patients with haemangiomas and 25 patients with vascular malformations who had not been treated previously were included in this prospective study. Forty-eight patients with cleft lip and/or palate were selected as controls. The age of all subjects ranged from 1 to 30 months. The serum and urine levels of bFGF were determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The serum levels of E2 were examined via radioimmunoassay. All data were analysed with SPSS 11.5 software package. RESULTS The concentration of serum and urine bFGF was significantly different among the three groups (haemangiomas, vascular malformations and controls) (P = 0.027, P = 0.001). Significantly different urine bFGF levels were found in patients with proliferating and involuting haemangiomas (P = 0.04). The serum E2 levels were significantly higher in patients with haemangiomas than vascular malformations (P = 0.001) and controls (P = 0.001). CONCLUSION Serum bFGF and E2 as well as urine bFGF can be used to supplement the clinical diagnosis of congenital vascular anomalies. Urine bFGF combined with serum E2 may be the most potential markers for diagnosing haemangiomas and determining the proliferating stage of haemangiomas.

Abstract
The size uniformity of self-assembled SiGe quantum rings, which are formed by capping SiGe quantum dots with a thin Si layer, is found to be greatly influenced by the growth temperature and the areal density of SiGe quantum dots. Higher growth temperature benefits the size uniformity of quantum dots, but results in low Ge concentration as well as asymmetric Ge distribution in the dots, which induces the subsequently formed quantum rings to be asymmetric in shape or even broken somewhere in the ridge of rings. Low growth temperature degrades the size uniformity of quantum dots, and thus that of quantum rings. A high areal density results in the expansion and coalescence of neighboring quantum dots to form a chain, rather than quantum rings. Uniform quantum rings with a size dispersion of 4.6% and an areal density of 7.8×10(8) cm(-2) are obtained at the optimized growth temperature of 640°C.

Abstract
The bias-dependent electrical characteristics of individual self-assembled GeSi quantum dots (QDs) are investigated by conductive atomic force microscopy. The results reveal that the conductive characteristics of QDs are strongly influenced by the applied bias. At low (-0.5 to - 2.0 V) and high (-2.5 to - 4.0 V) biases, the current distributions of individual GeSi QDs exhibit ring-like and disc-like characteristics respectively. The current of the QD's central part increases more quickly than that of the other parts as the bias magnitude increases. Histograms of the magnitude of the current on a number of QDs exhibit the same single-peak feature at low biases, and double- or three-peak features at high biases, where additional peaks appear at large-current locations. On the other hand, histograms of the magnitude of the current on the wetting layers exhibit the same single-peak feature for all biases. This indicates the conductive mechanism is significantly different for QDs and wetting layers. While the small-current peak of QDs can be attributed to the Fowler-Nordheim tunneling model at low biases and the Schottky emission model at high biases respectively, the large-current peak(s) may be attributed to the discrete energy levels of QDs. The results suggest the conductive mechanisms of GeSi QDs can be regulated by the applied bias.

Abstract
In this study, the self-organized TiO(2) nanotubes grown by anodization of Ti-4Zr-22Nb-2Sn at different potentials, concentration of NH(4)F and anodization time was investigated. The morphology of nanotubes was observed by FE-SEM. The drug-loaded nanotubes were also fabricated in aqueous media containing minocycline hydrochloride. They were characterized by SEM, XPS and FT-IR. The results showed that the drug of minocycline hydrochloride (MH) was loaded in the nanotubes. The release effects were studied in phosphate buffer solution (PBS). The release rate of MH from TiO(2) nanotubes with shorter tube length in PBS was lower than the one of MH from longer nanotubes. The sustaining release time could last at least 150 h. Hence, it is a promising method to eliminate the harmful reactions by carrying drug in the tubes when the titanium alloys were used as biomedical implants.

Abstract
In this study, 14 unrelated hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) probands were scanned by polymerase chain reaction-single-strand conformation polymorphism analysis and DNA sequencing. Three mis-sense mutations of the beta-myosin heavy chain gene, MYH7, were found: valine (Val) 606 methionine (Met), arginine (Arg) 694 leucine (Leu), and Arg 723 glycine (Gly). All are reported here for the first time in Chinese subjects. The results showed that: Val606Met is an intermediate malignancy mutation; Arg694Leu is a novel mutation with a benign phenotype; and the Arg723Gly mutation is linked to malignancy - it can lead not only to HCM but also to dilated cardiomyopathy at various ages. The clinical symptoms associated with Arg723Gly emerged early and caused more severe clinical manifestation and poorer prognosis in females than in males. Mis-sense mutations were not detected in the myosin binding protein C, cardiac, cardiac troponin T type 2, or cardiac troponin I type 3 genes. The MYH7 gene may be an HCM mutation hotspot in the Chinese and have unique features in this study population.
