Abstract
Curdlan is an edible microbial polysaccharide and can be used in food, biomedical and biomaterial fields. To reduce the cost of curdlan production, this study investigated the suitability of cassava starch hydrolysates as carbon source for curdlan production. Cassava starch was hydrolyzed into maltose syrup using β-amylase and pullulanase at various enzyme dosages, temperature, time and addition order of two enzymes. The maltose yield of 53.17% was achieved at starch loading 30% by simultaneous addition β-amylase 210 U/g starch and pullulanase 3 U/g starch at 60 °C for 9 h. Cassava starch hydrolysates were used as carbon source for curdlan production by Agrobacterium sp. DH-2. The curdlan production reached 28.4 g/L with the yield of 0.79 g/g consumed sugar and molecular weight of 1.26 × 106 Da at 96 h with cassava starch hydrolysate at 90 g/L initial sugar concentration. Curdlan produced from cassava starch hydrolysates was characterized using FT-IR spectra and thermo gravimetric analysis. This work indicated that cassava starch was a potential renewable feedstock for curdlan production.

Abstract
Microfluidic technology has established itself as a powerful tool to enable highly precise spatiotemporal control over fluid streams for mixing, separations, biochemical reactions, and material synthesis. 3D printing technologies such as extrusion-based printing, inkjet, and stereolithography share similar length scales and fundamentals of fluid handling with microfluidics. The advanced fluidic manipulation capabilities afforded by microfluidics can thus be potentially leveraged to enhance the performance of existing 3D printing technologies or even develop new approaches to additive manufacturing. This review discusses recent developments in integrating microfluidic elements with several well-established 3D printing technologies, highlighting the trend of using microfluidic approaches to achieve functional and multimaterial 3D printing as well as to identify potential future research directions in this emergent area.

Abstract
Objective: The study aimed to investigate the safety and feasibility of intrathoracic modified overlap method in laparoscopic radical resection of Siewert type II adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG). Methods: A descriptive case series study was conducted. The clinical data of 27 patients with Siewert type II AEG who underwent transthoracic single-port assisted laparoscopic total gastrectomy and intrathoracic modified overlap esophagojejunostomy in Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine from May 2017 to December 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. The intrathoracic modified overlap esophagojejunostomy was performed as follows: (1) The Roux-en-Y loop was made; (2) The jejunum side was prepared extraperitoneal for overlap anastomosis; (3) The esophagus side was prepared intraperitoneal for overlap anastomosis; (4) The overlap esophagojejunostomy was performed; (5) The common outlet was closed after confirmation of anastomosis integrity without bleeding; (6) A thoracic drainage tube was inserted into the thoracic hole with the diaphragm incision closed. The intraoperative and postoperative results were reviewed. Results: All 27 patients were successfully operated, without mortality or conversion to laparotomy. The operative time, digestive tract reconstruction time and esophageal-jejunal anastomosis time were (327.5±102.0) minute, 50 (28-62) minute and (29.0±7.4) minute, respectively. The blood loss was 100 (20-150) ml. The postoperative time to flatus and postoperative hospital stay were (4.7±3.7) days and 9(6-73) days, respectively. Three patients (11.1%) developed postoperative grade III complications according to the Clavien-Dindo classification, including 1 case of anastomotic fistula with empyema, 1 case of pleural effusion and 1 case of pancreatic fistula, all of whom were cured by puncture drainage and anti-infective therapy. Conclusions: The intrathoracic modified overlap esophagojejunostomy is safe and feasible in laparoscopic radical resection of Siewert type II AEG.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the trend of disease burden of degenerative mitral valve disease (DMVD) in the Chinese population from 1990 to 2019. Methods: Based on the 2019 Global Burden of Disease database (GBD 2019), the number of patients, the number of new cases, the number of deaths, the disability-adjusted life years (DALY) as well as the prevalence, incidence and death rate, DALY rate and their age-standardized rates were used to analyze the trend of the burden of DMVD in the Chinese population from 1990 to 2019. Results: In 2019, the number of patients, the number of new cases, and the number of deaths with DMVD in China were 461.2, 27.0 and 0.129 ten thousand, respectively, which increased by 209.0%, 199.1% and 13.2% when compared with 1990. In 2019, the age-standardized prevalence, incidence and death rate were 228.1/100 000, 12.7/100 000 and 0.075/100 000, respectively. Compared with 1990, the change of the age-standardized prevalence, incidence and death rate were 32.6%, 42.8% and -54.1%, respectively. In addition, the 2019 data also showed that the age-standardized prevalence and incidence were higher in females than in males (the age-standardized prevalence was 190.1 (181.5-198.9)/100 000 for males and 262.0 (250.3-273.9)/100 000 for females); the age-standardized incidence was 10.5 (10.0-11.0)/100 000 for males and 14.9 (14.3-15.6)/100 000 for females. The age group with the largest number of DMVD patients was 65 to 69 years old, and the highest incidence was 60 to 64 years old. From 1990 to 2019, DALY caused by DMVD showed an upward trend in China, from 46 439 person-years in 1990 to 69 402 person-years in 2019, with an increase of 49.4%. While the age-standardized DALY rate continued to decline, from 5.5/100 000 in 1990 to 3.8/100 000 in 2019, with a drop of 30.8%. The DALY and the age-standardized DALY rate of females were always higher than that of males in different years. Conclusion: From 1990 to 2019, DALY and the age-standardized prevalence and incidence of DMVD in China shows an increasing trend, and the disease burden caused by DMVD is severe in China.

Abstract
Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) is one of the most effective reperfusion strategies for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) despite myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury, causing one of the causes of most cardiomyocyte injuries and deaths. The pathological processes of myocardial I/R injury include apoptosis, autophagy, and irreversible cell death caused by calcium overload, oxidative stress, and inflammation. Eventually, myocardial I/R injury causes a spike of further cardiomyocyte injury that contributes to final infarct size (IS) and bound with hospitalization of heart failure as well as all-cause mortality within the following 12 months. Therefore, the addition of adjuvant intervention to improve myocardial salvage and cardiac function calls for further investigation. Phytochemicals are non-nutritive bioactive secondary compounds abundantly found in Chinese herbal medicine. Great effort has been put into phytochemicals because they are often in line with the expectations to improve myocardial I/R injury without compromising the clinical efficacy or to even produce synergy. We summarized the previous efforts, briefly outlined the mechanism of myocardial I/R injury, and focused on exploring the cardioprotective effects and potential mechanisms of all phytochemical types that have been investigated under myocardial I/R injury. Phytochemicals deserve to be utilized as promising therapeutic candidates for further development and research on combating myocardial I/R injury. Nevertheless, more studies are needed to provide a better understanding of the mechanism of myocardial I/R injury treatment using phytochemicals and possible side effects associated with this approach.

Abstract
We report a compact all-fiber passively mode-locked ultrafast laser with a fundamental repetition rate of 1.6 GHz that uses a self-developed long-wavelength active fiber, i.e., a fluoro-sulfo-phosphate-based Er3+/Yb3+ co-doped fiber (only 6.2 cm in length). This active fiber can provide a net gain coefficient of 0.6 dB/cm at 1610 nm. The high-repetition-rate all-fiber mode-locked laser operates at a low pump power of only approximately 90 mW. The mode-locked pulse train has a period of 625 ps and a 3 dB bandwidth of 7.0 nm, which can support a transform-limited pulse width of 390 fs.

Abstract
Purpose To compare the cause-specific survival (CSS) and overall survival (OS) of patients with localized T3a renal cell carcinoma (RCC) after partial nephrectomy (PN) or radical nephrectomy (RN). Methods We obtained the demographic and clinicopathological data of 7,127 patients with localized T3a RCC and who underwent PN or RN from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database. These patients were divided into fat invasion cohort and venous invasion cohort for subsequent analysis. Kaplan–Meier analysis (KMA) and univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression analyses were used to evaluate the effects of PN or RN on OS and CSS. Meanwhile, 65 cases with clinical T1 (cT1) RCC upstaged to pathological T3a (pT3a) who were treated in Tongji Hospital (TJH) from 2011 to 2020 and underwent PN or RN were identified. Results In the study cohort, 2,085 (29.3%) patients died during the 1–172 months’ follow-up, of whom 1,155 (16.2%) died of RCC. In the two cohorts of fat invasion and venous invasion, KMA indicated that the PN group had favorable survival (p < 0.001). However, after propensity score matching (PSM), univariate and multivariate Cox regression analyses showed that the PN and RN groups had comparable CSS in the fat invasion cohort (p = 0.075) and the venous invasion cohort (p = 0.190). During 1–104 months of follow-up, 9 cases in the Tongji cohort had disease recurrence. There was no significant difference in recurrence-free survival between the RN group and the PN group (p = 0.170). Conclusions Our analysis showed that after balancing these factors, patients with localized pT3a RCC receiving PN or RN can achieve comparable oncologic outcomes. PN is safe for selected T3a patients.

Abstract
Drug–drug interactions play a vital role in drug research. However, they may also cause adverse reactions in patients, with serious consequences. Manual detection of drug–drug interactions is time-consuming and expensive, so it is urgent to use computer methods to solve the problem. There are two ways for computers to identify drug interactions: one is to identify known drug interactions, and the other is to predict unknown drug interactions. In this paper, we review the research progress of machine learning in predicting unknown drug interactions. Among these methods, the literature-based method is special because it combines the extraction method of DDI and the prediction method of DDI. We first introduce the common databases, then briefly describe each method, and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of some prediction models. Finally, we discuss the challenges and prospects of machine learning methods in predicting drug interactions. This review aims to provide useful guidance for interested researchers to further promote bioinformatics algorithms to predict DDI.

Abstract
Objective: To establish a method for the induction of peripheral blood mononuclear cells to hepatocyte-like cells, and preliminarily investigate cell response to injury under the effect of acetaminophen (APAP). Methods: The surface marker CD45 of peripheral blood mononuclear cells wase detected cells by using flow cytometry and immunofluorescence methods. The cellular morphology of induced hepatocyte-like cells was observed under an inverted microscope. Real-time fluorescent quantitative PCR (RT-PCR) was used to detect the expression level of hepatocyte-specific genes, such as cytochrome (CY) P1A2, CYP3A4, CYP2C9, albumin (ALB), alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), and hepatocyte nuclear factor (HNF)4α mRNA. Immunofluorescence method was used to detect intracellular hepatocyte markers AFP, HNF4α, and ALB expression at the protein level. Biochemical analyzer was used to detect hepatocyte-specific secretory functions of AFP, ALB, and urea. Luciferase chemiluminescence method was used to detect the activity of key drug metabolizing enzyme CYP3A4. Colorimetric assay was used to detect the effect of the drug acetaminophen on hepatocyte-like cells, and alanine aminotransferase (ALT) was used as an indicator of liver cell injury. The statistical differences between the data were compared with t-test and rank-sum test. Results: The positive expression rate of CD45 cell surface markers isolated from peripheral blood mononuclear cells was about 98%, and hepatocyte-like cell morphology changes appeared on 15th day of induction. Compared with isolated mononuclear cells, CYP1A2, CYP3A4, CYP2C9, ALB, AFP and HNF4α mRNA was markedly elevated. The expression level of AFP, ALB and HNF4α protein were equally increased, and the secretory function of AFP, ALB and urea were enhanced. Compared with primary hepatocytes, CYP1A2, CYP2C9, AFP, HNF4α mRNA, and CYP3A4 mRNA did not decrease. The expression levels of AFP, ALB, and HNF4α proteins in the cells did not decrease, and the secretory function of AFP, ALB, and urea did not decrease. In addition, the CYP3A4 enzyme activity produced by hepatocyte-like cells was similar to that of primary hepatocytes. Compared with hepatocyte-like cells incubated without APAP, hepatocyte-like cells incubated with APAP had higher ALT level. Under the effect of APAP, the ALT level of hepatocyte-like cells was higher than isolated mononuclear cells. Conclusion: Peripheral blood mononuclear cells can be induced into hepatocyte-like cells with partial characteristics of hepatocytes, including the activity of CYP3A4, a key enzyme of hepatocyte drug metabolism. Additionally, preliminarily ALT secretory features reflect the hepatocytes injury under the effect of acetaminophen.

Abstract
Neonates who receive repeated or prolonged general anesthesia before the age of 4 are at a significantly higher risk of developing cognitive dysfunction later in life. In this study, we investigated the effects of repeated neonatal propofol exposure on hippocampal synaptic plasticity, neuronal excitability, and cognitive function. Adeno-associated SIRT1 virus with CaMKIIɑ promotor and a viral vector carrying the photosensitive gene ChR2 with the CaMKIIɑ promotor, as well as their control vectors, were stereotaxically injected into the hippocampal CA1 region of postnatal day 5 (PND-5) rats. PND-7 rats were given intraperitoneal injection of 60 mg/kg propofol or fat emulsion for three consecutive days. Western blotting, Golgi staining, and double immunofluorescence staining were used to evaluate the SIRT1 expression, synaptic plasticity, and the excitability of neurons in the hippocampal CA1 region. The Morris water maze (MWM) test was conducted on PND-30 to assess the learning and memory abilities of rats. Repeated neonatal propofol exposure reduced SIRT1 expression, suppressed synaptic plasticity, decreased glutamatergic neuron excitability in the hippocampus, and damaged learning and memory abilities. Overexpression of SIRT1 attenuated propofol-induced cognitive dysfunction, excitation-inhibition imbalance, and synaptic plasticity damage. After optogenetic stimulation of glutamatergic neurons in the hippocampal CA1 region, the learning and memory abilities of rats exposed to propofol were improved on PND-30. Our findings demonstrate that SIRT1 plays an important role in cognitive dysfunction induced by repeated neonatal propofol exposure by suppressing synaptic plasticity and neuronal excitability.

Abstract
Background/purpose Calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2], a wildly used intracanal medicament, should be completely removed from the root canal before obturation to avoid negative effects on the treatment. This study evaluated the effectiveness of conventional needle irrigation (CNI), passive ultrasonic activation (PUI), photon-induced photoacoustic streaming (PIPS), XP-endo Finisher (XP) and EDDY for the removal of Ca(OH)2 from S-shaped root canal. Materials and methods Eighty-four S-shaped root canals in resin blocks were prepared using Protaper Gold up to size #25/0.08 and filled with Ca(OH)2. Five groups were established according to the removal techniques (n = 16): CNI, PUI, PIPS, XP and EDDY group. The positive and negative control group (n = 2) were also established. Sodium hypochlorite 3% was used as the irrigant. Digital radiographs were used to measure the remaining Ca(OH)2. Statistical analysis of the data was performed by using the Kruskal–Wallis test, followed by Dunn's post hoc test with Bonferroni correction (α = 0.05). Results All the tested techniques completely removed Ca(OH)2 from the straight portion and coronal curve of the S-shaped root canal in 100% of cases. Regarding the apical curve, PUI, EDDY, PIPS and XP removed significantly more Ca(OH)2 than CNI (P < 0.05), with no significant differences among these four groups (P > 0.05). The complete clearance of Ca(OH)2 from the apical curve was observed in 75%, 62.5%, 56.3%, 43.8% and 0% of cases of PUI, EDDY, PIPS, XP and CNI group, respectively. Conclusion Irrigant activation enhanced Ca(OH)2 removal from the apical region of the S-shaped root canal. CNI was significantly less effective than all activation techniques.

Abstract
Background/purpose Gold metal technology improves flexibility and the resistance to cyclic fatigue of the endodontic mechanical files. This study compared the performance of ProTaper Gold (PTG) multiple file system and WaveOne Gold (WOG) single file system in simulated S-shaped root canals, which represents one of the most challenging root canal morphology. Materials and methods Forty S-shaped canals (n = 20 canals/per group) in resin blocks were instrumented to an apical size of 0.25 mm using PTG and WOG Primary, respectively. The total amount of resin removal, canal transportation, centering ratio, and the degree of canal straightening were measured in Photoshop CS6 software. Statistical analysis was performed by using Mann–Whitney U-test (α = .05). Results None of the files fractured during the instrumentation. The WOG group removed significantly less amount of resin at 0, 3, 6, 7 and 9 mm from the apex (P < .05). The WOG group remained more centered in canals at 0 mm from the apex (P < .05). The PTG group showed a better centering ability and less canal transportation at 4, 5 and 6 mm from the apex (P < .05). In the coronal curvature portion, the use of WOG Primary significantly decreased curvature angle and increased radius compared with PTG instruments (P < .05). There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of the apical curvature angle and radius change (P > .05). Conclusion The WOG Primary file has a less aggressive dentin cutting and more centered apical preparation. The PTG system is more advantageous in shaping the coronal curvature of S-shaped canal.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to determine the association between single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the RELN gene and schizophrenia. METHODS 134 patients aged 16 to 58 (mean, 38.0) years who were diagnosed with acute or chronic schizophrenia at the Zhongshan Third People's Hospital between January 2018 and April 2020 were recruited, as were 64 healthy controls aged 22 to 59 (mean, 45.6) years who matched with the age and sex of the patients. MassARRAY mass spectrometry genotyping technology was used to determine the genotypes of four SNPs of RELN (rs2073559, rs2229864, rs362691, and rs736707). RESULTS There were no significant between-group or between-sex differences in terms of genotype, allele frequency, or haplotype frequency of the SNPs (all p > 0.05). In the association analysis between genotypes and quantitative traits in the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale, rs2229864 and rs736707 were associated with the scores for items P3 (hallucinatory behaviour) and G11 (attention disorder), and rs362691 was associated with G10 (disorientation). However, the associations did not remain significant after Bonferroni correction. CONCLUSION Multiple pathogenic polymorphisms of RELN might be associated with hallucinatory behaviour and attention disorder in Chinese patients with schizophrenia.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Staphylococcal and herpes simplex virus (HSV) infections are commonly recognized in atopic dermatitis (AD) but less is known about other types of infections. OBJECTIVES To determine the risk of herpesvirus infections, serious infections, and opportunistic infections in patients with AD. METHODS We conducted a population-based cohort study using UK-based electronic medical records data. Patients with AD were each matched to up to 5 unaffected patients on age, practice, and index date. AD severity was defined using treatments. The outcomes were incident herpesvirus infections (cytomegalovirus [CMV], Epstein-Barr virus [EBV], HSV, or varicella zoster virus [VZV]), serious infections, and opportunistic infections. RESULTS 409,431 children and 625,083 adults with AD were matched to 1,809,029 children and 2,678,888 adults without AD, respectively. In adjusted Cox regression models, children and adults with AD had 50-52% greater risk of HSV and 18-33% greater risk of VZV, with risk increasing in parallel with AD severity. CMV risk was elevated among children with AD (HR 2.50 [1.38-4.54]) and adults with severe AD (4.45 [1.76-11.25]). Patients with AD had 26-40% increase in risk of serious infections, with severe AD carrying greatest risk. Although rare, opportunistic infections were not associated with AD in children but were associated with all severities of AD in adults (overall HR 1.31 [1.20-1.42]). All estimates remained consistent after excluding patients receiving immunosuppressive treatments for AD. CONCLUSIONS AD is significantly associated with herpesvirus infections, serious infections, and opportunistic infections in a dose-responsive manner with severity. AD may increase susceptibility to infections exclusive of immunosuppressive medications.

Abstract
HYPOTHESIS Droplet spreading on surfaces is a ubiquitous phenomenon in nature and is relevant with a wide range of applications. In practical scenarios, surfaces are usually associated with certain levels of vibration. Although vertical or horizontal modes of vibration have been used to promote droplet dewetting, bouncing from immiscible medium, directional transport, etc., a quantitative understanding of how external vibration mediates the droplet behaviors remains to be revealed. METHODS We studied droplets impacting on stationary and vibratory surfaces, respectively. In analogy to the Weber number We=ρUi2D0/γWe = ρUi2D0/γ, we define the vibration Weber number We*=ρUv2D0/γ to quantitively analyze the vibration-induced dynamic pressure on droplet behaviors on vibratory surfaces, where ρ,γ,D0,UiandUv are liquid density, surface tension, initial droplet diameter, impact velocity of the droplet, and velocity amplitude of vibration, respectively. FINDINGS We demonstrate that the effect of vibration on promoting droplet spreading can be captured by a new scaling number expressed as We*/[We1\2sin(θ/2)], leading to (Dm - Dm0)/Dm0 ∝ We*/[We1\2sin(θ/2)], where θ is the contact angle, and Dm0 and Dm are the maximum diameter of the droplet on stationary and vibratory surfaces, respectively. The scaling number illustrates the relative importance of vibration-induced dynamic pressure compared to inertial force and surface tension. Together with other well-established non-dimensional numbers, this scaling number provides a new dimension and framework for understanding and controlling droplet dynamics. Our findings can also find applications such as improving the power generation efficiency, intensifying the deposition of paint, and enhancing the heat transfer of droplets.

Abstract
Soy-cow blended milk is a potential nutritional beverage and raw material for dairy products. This study determined the particle size, flow, lubrication, flavor and sensory properties of cow milk, soy milk and their blends. Twenty-one major volatile compounds were identified using solid-phase microextraction gas chromatography (SPME-GCMS) in cow milk and soy milk. Among all the compounds detected in the milk samples, hexanal, associated with off flavor was found highest in soymilk followed by cow milk and blended milk. From confocal images, soy-cow blended milk at a ratio of 1:1 showed a homogenous distribution of small fat globules and protein compared to the soy milk and cow milk. The addition of soy milk to cow milk lowers the particle size although not significantly (p > .05) and decreases the viscosity of blended milk. Cow milk was the most viscous (2.66 mPa·s at 50 s-1 ) with large particles (0.48 μm) observed from confocal images. However, soymilk was found to have better lubrication properties (boundary regime) with a lower friction coefficient (~0.30) compared to cow milk (~0.40) and blended milk (~0.50) at low entrainment speed (0.1-2 mm/s). The sensory panel ranked cow milk as creamier and more viscous while soymilk was perceived as more astringent with beany flavor. Overall, a proportion of 3:7 soy-cow blended milk was more acceptable than the other two blended milks with less beany flavor, as confirmed by the lower amount of hexanal from gas chromatography mass spectrometer.

Adipose-derived exosomes impairs endothelial transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 channels and elevates blood pressure in abdominal obesity. Eur Heart J 2021. Abstract
Abstract
Aim
Large epidemiological studies have found that abdominal obesity is a strong risk factor for hypertension. Impaired endothelium-dependent vasodilation is a hallmark of obesity-induced hypertension. Adipose-derived exosomes can regulate distant tissues as novel adipokines, providing a new mechanism for cell-cell interactions. However, the effects of adipose-derived exosomes on obesity-induced hypertension are unknown.
Methods
We extracted three adipose-derived exosomes, including high-fat diet (HFD) mouse serum exosome, adipose tissue exosome, and adipose-derived stem cell exosome, and further explored their effects on endothelium-dependent vasodilation in vivo and in vitro.
Results
Impairment of endothelial transient receptor potential vanilloid 4 (TRPV4) channel activity and vasodilation were observed in the arteries from abdominal obesity patients. Ca2+ influx through TRPV4 channels at myoendothelial projections to smooth muscle cells decreases resting blood pressure in nonobese mice, a response that is diminished in HFD mice. Administration of three exosomes elevated blood pressure by promoting artery endothelial barrier permeability, impairing the expression of adherens junctions, and aggravating inflammatory response in vivo and in vitro, accompanied by TRPV4/Ca2+ pathway inhibition.
Conclusions
Impairment of endothelial TRPV4 channels contributes to obesity-induced hypertension and imply that HFD-induced obesity plays a role in blood pressure by aggravating the artery endothelial barrier injury and inflammatory response via adipose-derived exosomes, at least partially, through inhibiting the TRPV4/Ca2+ pathway.

Abstract
An effective as well as eco-friendly photodegradation methods by atoxic and easily reusable photocatalysts are essential for wastewater treatment. Silver phosphate (Ag3PO4) specifically in tetrahedral shape is one of the superior catalysts under visible light but its photocorrosion, poor electron transfer ability and low surface adsorption properties limits its applications. Combination of Ag3PO4 and nitrogen doped reduced graphene oxide (NrGO) having higher in surface area, ample functional groups and hetero atom doping is expected to get over the problem. Further addition of a spinel ferrite (CuFe2O4) could enhance the visible light response activity and helps in easy separation of catalyst for reuse. Given the merits of Ag3PO4, NrGO and CuFe2O4 we rationally integrated a novel magnetically separable stable Ag3PO4/NrGO/CuFe2O4 photocatalyst for efficient detoxification of 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP). About 95.3% degradation efficiency was achieved by Ag3PO4/NrGO/CuFe2O4 (k = 0.01978 min-1) which was ~2.6 times higher than pure Ag3PO4 (k = 0.00747 min-1) in 60 min of visible light irradiation. The Ag3PO4/NrGO/CuFe2O4 heterojunction was able to separate and recycle easily using an external magnetic field due to its strong magnetism, and after 5 recycles it showed 88.6% of degradation efficiency revealed its higher stability and recyclability. The photocatalytic mechanism of Ag3PO4/NrGO/CuFe2O4 was explained by heterojunction energy-band theory. In addition, the plausible intermediate products of 2,4-dichlorophenol were analyzed by ESI/LC-MS and proposed the pathway. Moreover, the phytotoxicity was also studied on V. radiata in which GI (germination index) was found to be 11.97% before degradation, while 80.31% of GI was observed in 60 min of degradation which revealed that more significant reduction in toxicity was attained on this photodegradation.

Abstract
Postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) is a common complication in elderly patients. Circular RNAs (circRNAs) may contribute to neurodegenerative diseases. However, the role of circRNAs in POCD in aged mice has not yet been reported. This study aimed to explore the potential circRNAs in a POCD model. First, a circRNA microarray was used to analyze the expression profiles. Differentially expressed circRNAs were validated using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. A bioinformatics analysis was then used to construct a competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network. The database for annotation, visualization, and integrated discovery was used to perform Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis of circRNA-related genes. Moreover, protein-protein interactions were analyzed to predict the circRNA-regulated hub genes using the STRING and molecular complex detection plug-in of Cytoscape. Microarray screen 124 predicted circRNAs in the POCD of aged mice. We found that the up/downregulated circRNAs were involved in multiple signaling pathways. Hub genes, including Egfr and Prkacb, were identified and may be regulated by ceRNA networks. These results suggest that circRNAs are dysexpressed in the hippocampus and may contribute to POCD in aged mice.
