Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the clinical and prognostic features of CVT caused by PROS1 gene mutations and to provide clinical experience for new oral anticoagulants, such as rivaroxaban, in the treatment of CVT with a high risk of thrombosis. PATIENTS AND METHODS The CVT patient's clinical symptoms were described, and the brain imaging and blood coagulation tests were performed to confirm the diagnosis of CVT. The patient's family members were recruited to receive blood coagulation tests and ultrasonic examination of lower limb vessels. Genetic analysis on the pedigree was carried out to identify the responsible gene for PS deficiency. We followed-up with this patient for 24 months to evaluate the clinical outcomes, laboratory results and imaging performances of CVT. RESULTS The patient presented with typical CVT symptoms, including headache and epilepsy. Brain CT showed hemorrhage in the bilateral frontal lobe and left occipital lobe, while MRV demonstrated that thrombus had occurred. It was reviewed that the patient and his mother had a history of bilateral leg deep vein thrombosis. Gene tests revealed that the patient and two family members carried a heterozygous mutation of PROS1 (c.751_752delAT, p.M251Vfs*17). During 24 months of follow-up study, the patient was treated with rivaroxaban continuously and recovered well, supported by an mRS score that remained below 2. Blood coagulation tests were within normal limits, and MRV revealed partial recanalization of the cerebral venous sinus. CONCLUSIONS The frame shift mutation in the PROS1 gene (c.751_752delAT) may greatly affect the function of protein S and lead to a severe phenotype of CVT. Rivaroxaban showed a satisfying therapeutic effect in this CVT patient with hereditary thrombophilia.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the effectiveness of the National Cervical Cancer Screening Program in Rural Areas (NCCSPRA) in China. Methods: Data were collected in the form of quarterly statistical tables reported by NCCSPRA counties in 30 provinces (Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan province of China were not included into the NCCSPRA, and Tibet Autonomous Region carried out the program but did not reported the data) from 2009 to 2018. The women aged 35-64 years with sexual behavior and the identity (Hukou) of rural area in these project counties were included into the NCCSPRA, and women receiving hysterectomy for non-cervical cancer or non-cervical lesions were excluded. The following indicators were analyzed: the positive rates of different screening methods, the abnormality rates of colposcopy and histopathology, the detection rate of precancerous lesions, the detection rate of cervical cancer and the rate of early diagnosis. Results: A total of 85 041 490 women aged 35-64 in rural areas received free cervical cancer screening and diagnosis if necessary. On the whole, the abnormality rate of cytology, HPV testing, VIA/VILI, colposcopy and histopathology was 3.71%(2 567 610), 9.91%(331 158), 10.10%(1 167 930), 28.85%(1 420 847), and 21.20%(303 068) respectively. The detection rate of cervical precancerous lesions was 153.88/100 000, and increased from 106.85/100 000 in 2012 to 223.89/100 000 in 2018 (P<0.001). Regionally, the east (207.37/100 000) reached higher rate than the middle (177.65/100 000), and the middle higher than the west (108.65/100 000) (P<0.001). The detection rate of invasive cervical cancer was 21.58/100 000, and increased from 18.02/100 000 in 2012 to 26.54/100 000 in 2018 (P<0.001). Regionally, the middle of China (25.46/100 000) reached the higher rate than the east (19.62/100 000) and the west (19.30/100 000) (P<0.001). The rate of early detection was 91.24%(136 140), which increased from 89.60% (11 883)in 2012 to 92.80%(26 962) in 2018 (P<0.001). Regionally, the east of China (94.02%, 37 600) reached the higher rate than the middle(91.06%, 56 488), and the middle higher than the west (89.12%, 42 052) (P<0.001). Conclusions: There are obvious difference in terms of the detection rate of cervical precancerous lesions and the rate of early diagnosis reflecting cervical cancer screening capacity among the eastern, middle and western regions,which showed service inequity among different areas indirectly. The middle and western regions, especially the western regions, are still the focus of future works.

Abstract
Background:Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a condition characterized by major large-vessel vasculitis (LVV), and is most commonly found in young women (age <40 years) of East Asia countries. 18F-FDG-PET/CT has been widely used in the diagnosis and follow-up of cancers to gather functional information based on metabolic activity. In the present study, we evaluated the value of different parameters in 18F-FDG-PET/CT for assessing active TA disease, and we establish a simple, quantifiable, and effective disease activity evaluation model based on 18F-FDG-PET/CT. A comparison in the ability to identify active disease was performed between the established Kerr score and the new 18F-FDG-PET/CT was also performed.Objectives:To investigate the utility of 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F-FDG-PET/CT) in assessing disease activity in TA.Methods:Ninety-one patients with TA, were recruited from a Chinese cohort from October 2017 to January 2019. Clinical data, acute-phase reactants (APRs), and 18F-FDG-PET/CT findings were simultaneously recorded. The Physician Global Assessment was used as the gold standard to assess TA disease activity. The value of using 18F-FDG-PET/CT to identify active disease was evaluated, using erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) as a reference. Disease activity assessment models were constructed and concordance index (C-index), net reclassification index (NRI), and integrated discrimination index (IDI) were evaluated to compare the benefits of the new modes with ESR and Kerr score.Results:In total, 64 (70.3%) cases showed active disease. Higher levels of ESR and CRP, and lower interleukin (IL)-2R levels, were observed in active cases. 18F-FDG-PET/CT parameters, including SUVmean, SUVratio1, SUVratio2, sum of SUVmean, and sum of SUVmax, were significantly higher in active disease groups. The C index threshold of ESR to indicate active disease was 0.78 (95% CI: 0.69-0.88). The new activity assessment model combining ESR, sum of SUVmean, and IL-2R showed significant improvement in C index over the ESR method (0.96 vs. 0.78, P < 0.01; NRI 1.63, P < 0.01; and IDI 0.48, P < 0.01). The new model also demonstrated modest superiority to Kerr score assessment (0.96 vs. 0.87, P = 0.03; NRI 1.19, P < 0.01; and IDI 0.33 P < 0.01).Conclusion:A novel 18F-FDG-PET/CT-based method that involves combining the sum of SUVmean with ESR score and IL-2R levels demonstrated superiority in identifying active TA compared to conventional methods.References:[1]Kerr GS, Hallahan CW, Giordano J, Leavitt RY, Fauci AS, Rottem M, et al. Abstract
Background:Hypertension occurred in 30-80% of TAK patients around the world. The occurrence of hypertension might severely worsen TAK prognosis. Nevertheless, data describing the specific imaging features in hypertensive TAK patients and the associations between hypertensive severity, blood pressure control status and long-term outcome were still lacking.Objectives:To investigate the characteristics and associations of hypertensive characteristics with adverse events-free survival in Takayasu arteritis (TAK) patients with hypertension.Methods:This research was based on a prospectively on-going observational cohort-East China Takayasu Arteritis (ECTA) cohort. In all, 618 TAK patients, who registered in the ECTA cohort up to December 2019, were enrolled. The main outcome was the adverse-events-free survival among hypertensive TAK patients during the follow-up ended on August 2020.Results:Totally, 204 (33.0%) patients suffered from hypertension, with 48 (23.5%), 62 (30.4%), and 94 (46.1%) mild, moderate, and severe hypertension, respectively. Cluster analysis indicated three imaging phenotypes for hypertensive TAK patients: Cluster 1: involvement of the abdominal aorta and/or renal artery (n=56, 27.5%); Cluster 2: involvement of the ascending aorta, thoracic aorta, and the aortic arch and its branches (n=38, 18.6%); Cluster 3: combined involvement of Cluster 1 and Cluster 2 (n=111, 54.4%). By the end of the follow-up, the blood pressure control rate was 50.8%, while the adverse-events-free survival was 67.9% in the entire hypertensive population. Multivariate Cox regression analysis indicated that well-controlled blood pressure (HR=2.13, 95%CI 1.32–3.78, p=0.047), co-existence of severe aortic valve regurgitation (HR=0.87, 95%CI 0.64–0.95, p=0.043), Cluster 1 (HR=0.69, 95%CI 0.48–0.92, p=0.017) and Cluster 3 (HR=0.72, 95%CI 0.43–0.94, p=0.048) imaging phenotype was associated with the adverse-events-free survival.Conclusion:Patients with controlled hypertension showed better adverse-events-free survival, while those with the Cluster 1 imaging phenotype were more likely to suffer from worse adverse-events-free survival. Abstract
Background:Takayasu arteritis is a rare disease characterized by inflammation in the aorta and its branches. Some patients were discovered to suffer the aggravated vascular damage (AVD), monitored by imaging techniques, even with the effective anti-inflammation treatment. But the general characteristics and the related prognostic factors of AVD in TA were unclear yet.Objectives:We aimed to describe the characteristics of the AVD and identify its prognostic factors in TA.Methods:From the living East China Takayasu arteritis cohort, patients who underwent at least two magnetic resonance angiography (MRA) examinations at Zhongshan Hospital from April 2009 to April 2019 were enrolled as the derivation cohort to explore the prognostic factors of AVD in MRA. An independent group of patients from May 2019 to July 2020 comprising the validation cohort were used to validate the nomogram formed by these prognostic factors.Results:Among 235 enrolled patients, 69 patients (29.3%) suffered AVD with the median follow-up of 14 months. The limb arteries were the most vulnerable and the aggravated vascular stenosis were the most commonly seen in AVD. Patients with AVD were younger, had higher complement 4 levels at baseline, and lower disease remission rate at 6 months. Multivariate cox regression analysis revealed that younger age (HR: 0.25-0.42, 95%CI: 0.09-0.91), higher CRP levels (HR = 2.57, 95%CI: 1.51–4.36) at baseline, and lower remission rate at 6 months (HR = 0.36, 95%CI: 0.21–0.64) were significant predictors. In the validation cohort of 65 patients, 19 cases had AVD. The predictive nomogram based on these factors achieved C-indices of 0.745 and 0.641 in the derivation and validation cohort respectively.Conclusion:Totally, 29.3% of patients suffered AVD, among which the aggravated vascular stenosis and limb arteries involvement were most commonly seen. Abstract
Background:The relationship between the pathological findings and disease relapse has not been well established.Objectives:We aim to investigate the clinical and pathological manifestations in relation with disease relapse in IgG4-RD, as well as identify prognostic factors in predicting relapsed disease.Methods:This study enrolled 71 patients newly diagnosed with IgG4-RD between Jan 2011 and April 2020, all of whom had received pathological examinations. Their pathological manifestations and clinical data were collected. Multivariate Cox regression and AUC (area under curve) were used to identify predictors for relapsed disease and assess the predictive value of these predictors, respectively.Results:During a follow-up period of 26 (range, 6-123) months, 4.2% (3/71) patients died. The remaining 68 patients were all treated with glucocorticoids with or without immunosuppressor continuously. By the end of follow-up, 47 (69.1%) patients sustained clinical remission, and 21 (30.9%) patients suffered relapsed disease with a median relapse time at 10 (6-30) months. We found that IgG4 ≥ 6.5g/L (OR 1.52-11.06), IgG ≥ 20.8g/L (OR 1.11-7.23), IgG4-RD responder index (RI) ≥ 9 (OR 1.28-11.37), and more IgG4+ plasma cell infiltration (≥ 60 / HPF in visceral organs, or ≥ 200 / HPF in head and neck organs) (OR 1.79-22.41) were all independent predictive factors for disease relapse. A prognostic score was explored for predicting recurrence in IgG4-RD, including three predictive factors (IgG ≥ 20.8g/L, IgG4-RD RI ≥9, and more IgG4+ plasma cell infiltration). The three-year relapse rate for the patients with no, one, two, and three risk factors were 0%, 27.3%, 66.7%, and 100%, respectively.Conclusion:Patients’ earlier IgG4 ≥ 6.5g/L, IgG ≥ 20.8g/L, IgG4-RD RI ≥9, and more IgG4+ plasma cell infiltration independently predicted disease relapse. Abstract
The CUPID-Mo experiment at the Laboratoire Souterrain de Modane (France) is a demonstrator for CUPID, the next-generation ton-scale bolometric 0νββ experiment. It consists of a 4.2 kg array of 20 enriched Li_{2}^{100}MoO_{4} scintillating bolometers to search for the lepton-number-violating process of 0νββ decay in ^{100}Mo. With more than one year of operation (^{100}Mo exposure of 1.17 kg×yr for physics data), no event in the region of interest and, hence, no evidence for 0νββ is observed. We report a new limit on the half-life of 0νββ decay in ^{100}Mo of T_{1/2}>1.5×10^{24} yr at 90% C.I. The limit corresponds to an effective Majorana neutrino mass ⟨m_{ββ}⟩<(0.31-0.54) eV, dependent on the nuclear matrix element in the light Majorana neutrino exchange interpretation.

Abstract
A plethora of studies indicate that iron metabolism is dysregulated in Parkinson's disease (PD). The literature reveals well-documented alterations consistent with established dogma, but also intriguing paradoxical observations requiring mechanistic dissection. An important fact is the iron loading in dopaminergic neurons of the substantia nigra pars compacta (SNpc), which are the cells primarily affected in PD. Assessment of these changes reveal increased expression of proteins critical for iron uptake, namely transferrin receptor 1 and the divalent metal transporter 1 (DMT1), and decreased expression of the iron exporter, ferroportin-1 (FPN1). Consistent with this is the activation of iron regulator protein (IRP) RNA-binding activity, which is an important regulator of iron homeostasis, with its activation indicating cytosolic iron deficiency. In fact, IRPs bind to iron-responsive elements (IREs) in the 3ꞌ untranslated region (UTR) of certain mRNAs to stabilize their half-life, while binding to the 5ꞌ UTR prevents translation. Iron loading of dopaminergic neurons in PD may occur through these mechanisms, leading to increased neuronal iron and iron-mediated reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation. The "gold standard" histological marker of PD, Lewy bodies, are mainly composed of α-synuclein, the expression of which is markedly increased in PD. Of note, an atypical IRE exists in the α-synuclein 5ꞌ UTR that may explain its up-regulation by increased iron. This dysregulation could be impacted by the unique autonomous pacemaking of dopaminergic neurons of the SNpc that engages L-type Ca+2 channels, which imparts a bioenergetic energy deficit and mitochondrial redox stress. This dysfunction could then drive alterations in iron trafficking that attempt to rescue energy deficits such as the increased iron uptake to provide iron for key electron transport proteins. Considering the increased iron-loading in PD brains, therapies utilizing limited iron chelation have shown success. Greater therapeutic advancements should be possible once the exact molecular pathways of iron processing are dissected.

Abstract
We measured two-neutrino double beta decay of ^{130}Te using an exposure of 300.7 kg yr accumulated with the CUORE detector. Using a Bayesian analysis to fit simulated spectra to experimental data, it was possible to disentangle all the major background sources and precisely measure the two-neutrino contribution. The half-life is in agreement with past measurements with a strongly reduced uncertainty: T_{1/2}^{2ν}=7.71_{-0.06}^{+0.08}(stat)_{-0.15}^{+0.12}(syst)×10^{20} yr. This measurement is the most precise determination of the ^{130}Te 2νββ decay half-life to date.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness and quality of ultrasound-based (BUS) process optimization in breast cancer screening. Methods: The program collected the first to fourth quarterly breast cancer screening statistic data and case report data from 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in 2015 by the online report system of national key service program of women and children's public health. The call rate, mammography (MG) subsequent screen rate, biopsy rate, detection rate, early diagnosis rate, carcinoma in situ rate, missing detection rate, false positive rate and positive predictive value (PPV) of breast cancer were calculated. Results: A total of 1 501 753 rural women attended the BUS process optimization screening. The nationwide recall rate was 3.01%(45 156/1 501 753), and in the eastern and central area were 3.41%(17 173/503 130) and 3.56%(14 499/407 739), respectively, higher than 2.28% (13 484/590 884) of western area (P<0.05). The nationwide MG subsequent screen rate was 2.78%(41 694/1 501 753), and in the eastern and central area were 3.19%(16 036/503 130) and 3.29% (13 421/407 739), respectively, higher than 2.07%(12 237/590 884) of western area (P<0.05). The nationwide biopsy rate was 0.23%(3 462/1 501 753), and in the central area were 0.26%(1 078/407 739), respectively, higher than 0.21%(1 247/590 884) of western area and 0.23% (1 137/503 130) of eastern area (P<0.05). The nationwide biopsy PPV was 37.00%(1 281/3 462). The biopsy PPV of eastern area was (34.30%, 390/1 137), lower than 39.33% (424/1 078) of central area (P<0.05). A total of 1 281 cases of breast cancer were detected, the detection rate was 0.85‰(1 281/1 501 753), and the detection rates of central area was 1.04‰ (424/407 739), higher than 0.79‰(467/590 884) of western area and 0.78‰(390/503 130) of eastern area (P<0.05). The BUS initiate screening positive rate from detected breast cancer cases was 96.96%(1 242/1 281), the MG subsequent screening positive rate was 2.42%(31/1 281). The nationwide early diagnosis rate was 85.25%(1 092/1 281), and in the eastern and central areas were 87.95%(343/390) and 88.21%(374/424), higher than 80.30%(375/467) of western area (P<0.05). The screening rate of on or above stage Ⅱ breast cancer in eastern area was 55.64%(217/390), lower than 64.62%(374/424) of central area and 62.31%(291/467) of western area. The missing detection rate was 0.62%(8/1 281) and false positive rate was 1.20%(17 528/1 464 149). Conclusions: The BUS process optimization of breast cancer screening scheme is reasonable and applicable to China rural women. The effectiveness and quality of eastern area are superior to those of central and western area.

Abstract
We present an angular analysis of the B^{+}→K^{*+}(→K_{S}^{0}π^{+})μ^{+}μ^{-} decay using 9 fb^{-1} of pp collision data collected with the LHCb experiment. For the first time, the full set of CP-averaged angular observables is measured in intervals of the dimuon invariant mass squared. Local deviations from standard model predictions are observed, similar to those in previous LHCb analyses of the isospin-partner B^{0}→K^{*0}μ^{+}μ^{-} decay. The global tension is dependent on which effective couplings are considered and on the choice of theory nuisance parameters.

Abstract
Global polarization of Ξ and Ω hyperons has been measured for the first time in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=200 GeV. The measurements of the Ξ^{-} and Ξ[over ¯]^{+} hyperon polarization have been performed by two independent methods, via analysis of the angular distribution of the daughter particles in the parity violating weak decay Ξ→Λ+π, as well as by measuring the polarization of the daughter Λ hyperon, polarized via polarization transfer from its parent. The polarization, obtained by combining the results from the two methods and averaged over Ξ^{-} and Ξ[over ¯]^{+}, is measured to be ⟨P_{Ξ}⟩=0.47±0.10(stat)±0.23(syst)% for the collision centrality 20%-80%. The ⟨P_{Ξ}⟩ is found to be slightly larger than the inclusive Λ polarization and in reasonable agreement with a multiphase transport model. The ⟨P_{Ξ}⟩ is found to follow the centrality dependence of the vorticity predicted in the model, increasing toward more peripheral collisions. The global polarization of Ω, ⟨P_{Ω}⟩=1.11±0.87(stat)±1.97(syst)% was obtained by measuring the polarization of daughter Λ in the decay Ω→Λ+K, assuming the polarization transfer factor C_{ΩΛ}=1.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE In this study, the regulatory mechanism of miR-22-3p/AKT3 in the development of Wilms' tumor (WT) was investigated. PATIENTS AND METHODS Twenty-seven pairs of surgical tumor specimens and adjacent normal tissues were obtained from Jining No. 1 People's Hospital. The expression level of miR-22-3p in WT tissues and cell lines was measured by quantitative RT-PCR. MTT and transwell assays were performed to analyze cell proliferation and invasion in WT. The relationship between miR-22-3p and AKT3 was verified by a Dual-Luciferase assay. The protein expression of AKT3 was evaluated by Western blotting analysis. RESULTS MiR-22-3p was downregulated and AKT3 was upregulated in WT. Functionally, overexpression of miR-22-3p inhibited cell proliferation and invasion in WT. Moreover, miR-22-3p directly targets AKT3. The knockdown of AKT3 suppressed cell proliferation and invasion in WT. In addition, upregulation of AKT3 restored the tumor suppressive effect of miR-22-3p in WT. CONCLUSIONS MiR-22-3p inhibits the proliferation and invasion of WT cells by downregulating AKT3, indicating that miR-22-3p may be developed as a new biomarker for the diagnosis of WT.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to clarify the influences of CHCHD2 and MMP2 on docetaxel resistance in breast cancer. PATIENTS AND METHODS Differential levels of CHCHD2 in breast cancer and para-tumor tissues were detected. The relationship between CHCHD2 and prognosis in breast cancer patients was analyzed. After generating Docetaxel-resistant breast cancer cell lines (MCF-7/DTX and SKBR3/DTX), the regulatory effects of CHCHD2 on proliferative and migratory potentials were assessed by Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8) and transwell assay, respectively. The interaction between CHCHD2 and MMP2 was tested by Western blot and Pearson correlation test. At last, the involvement of MMP2 in CHCHD2-regulated proliferation and migration in Docetaxel-resistant breast cancer cells was analyzed. RESULTS CHCHD2 was upregulated in breast cancer tissues. It predicted high incidence of distant metastasis and poor prognosis in breast cancer patients. Proliferation inhibition rate was lower in MCF-7/DTX and SKBR3/DTX cells compared with their parental cells. After knockdown of CHCHD2 in MCF-7/DTX and SKBR3/DTX cells, their proliferative and migratory potentials were markedly reduced. MMP2 was upregulated in breast cancer tissues, and its level was positively regulated by CHCHD2. Overexpression of MMP2 could reverse the regulatory effects of CHCHD2 on proliferative and migratory potentials in MCF-7/DTX and SKBR3/DTX cells. CONCLUSIONS Upregulated CHCHD2 in breast cancer is related to distant metastasis rate and poor prognosis. CHCHD2 and MMP2 are positively correlated to each other. CHCHD2 stimulates proliferative and migratory potentials in Docetaxel-resistant breast cancer cells by upregulating MMP2.

Abstract
A new α-emitting isotope ^{214}U, produced by the fusion-evaporation reaction ^{182}W(^{36}Ar,4n)^{214}U, was identified by employing the gas-filled recoil separator SHANS and the recoil-α correlation technique. More precise α-decay properties of even-even nuclei ^{216,218}U were also measured in the reactions of ^{40}Ar, ^{40}Ca beams with ^{180,182,184}W targets. By combining the experimental data, improved α-decay reduced widths δ^{2} for the even-even Po-Pu nuclei in the vicinity of the magic neutron number N=126 are deduced. Their systematic trends are discussed in terms of the N_{p}N_{n} scheme in order to study the influence of proton-neutron interaction on α decay in this region of nuclei. It is strikingly found that the reduced widths of ^{214,216}U are significantly enhanced by a factor of two as compared with the N_{p}N_{n} systematics for the 84≤Z≤90 and N<126 even-even nuclei. The abnormal enhancement is interpreted by the strong monopole interaction between the valence protons and neutrons occupying the π1f_{7/2} and ν1f_{5/2} spin-orbit partner orbits, which is supported by the large-scale shell model calculation.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the prediction power of HIV infection risk assessment tool and the applicability in MSM in Guizhou province. Methods: MSM were recruited through snowball sampling method. Questionnaire surveys were conducted among the MSM using HIV infection risk assessment tool, and combined with HIV serologic test results, the risk prediction power of HIV infection risk assessment tool was evaluated. Results: A total of 3 379 MSM were recruited from January 2018 to December 2019 in Guizhou. The HIV infection rate was 3.3%(111/3 379). The mean risk scores of HIV positive and HIV negative MSM were (12.15±3.08) and (12.07±3.07), respectively. The difference in risk score was significant between MSM with different HIV status (t=8.69, P<0.001). According to the principle of decision tree, individual risk scores were divided into following three categories: ≤11.96, 11.97-14.80 and >14.80, the HIV infection rate was 0.8%, 4.3% and 8.6% respectively, suggesting that the higher the individual risk score was, the higher the HIV infection rate was (trend χ2=88.18, P<0.001). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the higher the individual risk score was, the higher the risk of HIV infection was. Compared to the total score ≤11.96, the aOR values at total scores of 11.97-14.80 and >14.80 were 6.34 (95%CI: 3.38-11.88) and 14.07(95%CI: 7.44-26.61), respectively. The risk of HIV infection in Miao ethnic group was higher than that in Han ethnic group (aOR=1.83, 95%CI:1.04-3.21), and the risk of HIV infection in those with education level of primary school and below was higher than that in undergraduates or those with education level of junior college and above (aOR=2.50, 95%CI:1.06-5.88), and the risk of HIV infection was higher in those who had bisexual behaviors than in those who had homosexual behaviors (aOR=1.95, 95%CI:1.19-3.19). The risk of HIV infection was higher in those who had never received HIV testing (aOR=1.53, 95%CI:1.01-2.33). The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve and area under ROC (AUC) for HIV infection prediction was 0.751 (95%CI:0.710-0.792, P<0.001). The maximum Youden's index was individual risk score of 12.56, and the sensitivity of the risk assessment tool was 0.838, and its specificity was 0.412. Conclusions: The results of HIV infection risk assessment tool in Guizhou indicated that in MSM the higher the individual risk score, the higher the risk of HIV infection is. The tool can be used to evaluate the risk of HIV infection in MSM, but the specificity should be improved.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the clinical characteristics and treatment of tricuspid valve prolapse caused by chordal rupture complicated with persistent pulmonary hypertension in neonates. Methods: The clinical data of a male neonate with tricuspid valve prolapse complicated with persistent pulmonary hypertension admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Children's Hospital of Hebei Province in November 2018 was analyzed retrospectively. Related literature up to September 2020 was searched with the strategy of "(neonate OR newborn) AND (tricuspid valve prolapse) AND (rupture OR necrosis) AND (papillary muscle OR chordae tendineae) AND (pulmonary hypertension)" in Wanfang, CNKI and PubMed database in Chinese and English. The characteristics of the disease were summarized. Results: A male full-term neonate was admitted due to presenting severe cyanosis for 9 hours. He was born by caesarean section and presented severe cyanosis and dyspnea at 10 min of ages, unresponsive to the positive airway pressure resuscitation. After 9 hours of mechanical ventilation, there was no improvement. Thus he was transferred to Children's Hospital of Hebei Province. On admission, the initial blood gas analysis showed an arterial partial pressure of oxygen of 22.5 mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa). The echocardiography revealed prolapsed anterior leaflet of tricuspid valve, severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR) and pulmonary artery hypertension, and right to left shunt via a patent foramen ovale. The arterial duct was closed. The chest X-ray was normal. The boy was treated with nitric oxide, milrinone, and continued mechanical ventilation initially. Addition of prostacyclin analog (treprostinil) on day 3 led to significant improvement of pulmonary blood flow, oxygenation, and stabilization, so that the extracorporeal membrane oxygenation therapy was avoided. At 11 months after birth, the boy underwent cardiac surgery. At surgery, the rupture of chordal tendineae in anterior leaflet of tricuspid valve was found. Tricuspid annuloplasty, valvuloplasty and repair of patent foramen ovale were successfully performed. The follow-up echocardiogram at postoperative 3 months showed only mild tricuspid insufficiency. The boy was well at last follow-up at 22 months of age with normal cognitive skill development. According to literature, 20 cases of papillary muscle or chordae tendineae rupture in neonates had been reported in 12 English papers. Among the total 21 neonates, there were 12 male infants and only one premature infant with gestational age of 33 weeks. They presented with profound cyanosis soon after birth. All of them received endotracheal intubation and mechanical ventilation. Other treatments included inhalation of nitric oxide, intravenous milrinone, vasoactive drugs, diuretics and prostacyclin, etc. Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) was used in 6 infants as a bridge to surgical treatment. Two cases reported earlier death of cardiopulmonary failure without operation and the rest 19 survived after surgery. The followed surgery or autopsy revealed that all of them had tricuspid valve prolapse, rupture of papillary muscle or chordae tendineae. Conclusions: The severe TR resulting from rupture of papillary muscle or chordate tendineae in neonates is rare and could cause severe hypoxemia. Early recognition, adequate cardiopulmonary support to stabilize the hemodynamic status and timely surgery can significantly reduce the mortality.

Abstract
Using pp collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb^{-1} collected with the LHCb detector at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV, the B^{0}→D^{-}D^{+}K^{+}π^{-} decay is studied. A new excited D_{s}^{+} meson is observed decaying into the D^{+}K^{+}π^{-} final state with large statistical significance. The pole mass and width, and the spin parity of the new state are measured with an amplitude analysis to be m_{R}=2591±6±7 MeV, Γ_{R}=89±16±12 MeV, and J^{P}=0^{-}, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. Fit fractions for all components in the amplitude analysis are also reported. The new resonance, denoted as D_{s0}(2590)^{+}, is a strong candidate to be the D_{s}(2^{1}S_{0})^{+} state, the radial excitation of the pseudoscalar ground-state D_{s}^{+} meson.

Abstract
The anti-inflammatory effects of Rg3 on the hypertrophic scar (HS) formation remain relatively obscure. Hence, this study aimed to explore the anti-inflammatory effects of Rg3 on the HS formation using a rabbit ear model and we assessed the involvement of the NF-κ B/IκB signaling pathway in this process. We constructed the Newland white rabbit ear HS model and treated it with Rg3. Using histological analyses, we evaluated scar hypertrophy based on the hematoxylin and eosin staining. The degree of scarring was evaluated using the scar elevation index (SEI). In addition, collagen I and collagen III expression levels were assessed by immunohistochemistry, while fibroblast apoptosis was examined using TUNEL assays. While MPO, IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α concentrations were quantified using ELISA, NF-κB and p-IκB activities were respectively measured using electrophoretic mobility shift assays (EMSAs) and western blots. SEI measurements and histological characteristics revealed that Rg3 could suppress the HS formation. Moreover, Rg3 could inhibit the HS formation by decreasing collagen I and collagen III synthesis and inducing fibroblast apoptosis. Besides, Rg3 treatment markedly inhibited the inflammatory cytokine production and ameliorated neutrophil infiltration. Notably, this study revealed that Rg3 inhibited NF-κB activation and the activity of p-IκB. Furthermore, this study suggested that the ability of Rg3 to decrease the scar formation might result from its ability to inhibit inflammation by modulating the NF-κB/IκB signaling. Overall, the findings of this study could support the use of Rg3 to prevent the HS formation.

Abstract
Objective: To study the use of preS1-tp fusion protein as a novel vector to mediate the entry of small interfering RNA (siRNA) targeting the carboxy-terminal nuclear localization signal (NLS) region of hepatitis B virus (HBV) core protein into HBV-infected hepatocytes, and to further explore the HBV replication inhibition and covalently closed circular DNA synthesis. Methods: HepG2.2.15 cells expressing the human sodium taurocholate co-transporting polypeptide were established on the basis of lentivirus infection system. siRNA against HBV NLS region was designed and synthesized. PreS1-tp fusion protein expression and purification was observed to test its ability to cell entry and DNA binding. NLS siRNA were delivered into HepG2.2.15- sodium taurocholate co-transporting polypeptide cells by preS1-tp fusion protein as a vector to observe the effects of NLS siRNA on HBV replication and covalently closed circular DNA levels. Analysis of variance was used for comparison between multiple groups, and the measurement data differences between groups were analyzed by t-test. Results: HepG2.2.15-sodium taurocholate co-transporting polypeptide cell line was successfully constructed. Screened synthetic HBV NLS siRNA had significantly inhibited HBV replication. The preS1-tp fusion protein was expressed and purified on a large-scale. The fusion protein as a vector for HBV NLS siRNA had targeted delivery. The result showed that the fusion protein had effectively targeted siRNA to Hepg2.2.15-sodium taurocholate co-transporting polypeptide cell, which not only had effectively inhibited the expression of HBV mRNA, HBsAg and HBeAg, but also had significantly reduced the levels of HBV DNA and covalently closed circular DNA. Conclusion: The preS1-tp fusion protein constructed in this study uses the dual functional characteristics of preS1 binding to hepatocyte HBV receptor, and tp binding to nucleic acids, and targets HBV NLS siRNA against HBV-infected cells and block rcDNA from being transported to nucleus. siRNA plays a role in inhibiting HBV replication and covalently close circular DNA synthesis, providing a new strategy for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B caused by HBV infection, and a new research perspective for the complete elimination of HBV from the body.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The ability of the ivy sign on contrast-enhanced T1-weighted MR imaging (CEMR) to reflect cerebral perfusion and postoperative revascularization in Moyamoya disease remains largely unknown. We aimed to compare the capabilities of CEMR and FLAIR. MATERIALS AND METHODS CEMR, FLAIR, arterial spin-labeling, and DSA were performed in 44 patients with Moyamoya disease. The ivy sign was scored separately on CEMR and FLAIR using the Alberta Stroke Program Early CT Score. The status of leptomeningeal collaterals was scored on DSA. The postoperative Matsushima grade was evaluated at least 3 months after surgical revascularization. RESULTS Scoring of the ivy sign on CEMR showed excellent interrater reliability, and FLAIR vascular hyperintensity showed moderate interrater reliability. Correlation analyses revealed that DSA scores were more consistent with the CEMR-based ivy sign score (r = 0.25, P = .03) than with FLAIR vascular hyperintensity (r = 0.05, P = .65). The CEMR-based ivy sign score was significantly correlated with CBF in late-Suzuki stage Moyamoya disease (t = -2.64, P = .02). The CEMR-based ivy sign score at baseline was significantly correlated with the postoperative Matsushima grade (r = 0.48, P = .03). CONCLUSIONS In this study, CEMR outperformed FLAIR in capturing the ivy sign in Moyamoya disease. In addition, the CEMR-based ivy sign score provided adequate information on hemodynamic status and postoperative neovascularization. The current study suggested that CEMR could be considered as an alternative to FLAIR in future studies investigating leptomeningeal collaterals in Moyamoya disease.

The production of χ_{c1}(3872) and ψ(2S) hadrons is studied as a function of charged particle multiplicity in pp collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2 fb^{-1}. For both states, the fraction that is produced promptly at the collision vertex is found to decrease as charged particle multiplicity increases. The ratio of χ_{c1}(3872) to ψ(2S) cross sections for promptly produced particles is also found to decrease with multiplicity, while no significant dependence on multiplicity is observed for the equivalent ratio of particles produced away from the collision vertex in b-hadron decays. This behavior is consistent with a calculation that models the χ_{c1}(3872) structure as a compact tetraquark. Comparisons with model calculations and implications for the binding energy of the χ_{c1}(3872) state are discussed.

Abstract
Nonmonotonic variation with collision energy (sqrt[s_{NN}]) of the moments of the net-baryon number distribution in heavy-ion collisions, related to the correlation length and the susceptibilities of the system, is suggested as a signature for the quantum chromodynamics critical point. We report the first evidence of a nonmonotonic variation in the kurtosis times variance of the net-proton number (proxy for net-baryon number) distribution as a function of sqrt[s_{NN}] with 3.1 σ significance for head-on (central) gold-on-gold (Au+Au) collisions measured solenoidal tracker at Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. Data in noncentral Au+Au collisions and models of heavy-ion collisions without a critical point show a monotonic variation as a function of sqrt[s_{NN}].

A measurement of CP violation in the decay B^{+}→K^{+}π^{0} is reported using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4 fb^{-1} collected with the LHCb experiment at a center-of-mass energy of sqrt[s]=13 TeV. The CP asymmetry is measured to be 0.025±0.015±0.006±0.003, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to an external input. This is the most precise measurement of this quantity. It confirms and significantly enhances the observed anomalous difference between the direct CP asymmetries of the B^{0}→K^{+}π^{-} and B^{+}→K^{+}π^{0} decays, known as the Kπ puzzle.

Abstract
The first observation of the suppressed semileptonic B_{s}^{0}→K^{-}μ^{+}ν_{μ} decay is reported. Using a data sample recorded in pp collisions in 2012 with the LHCb detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 2 fb^{-1}, the branching fraction B(B_{s}^{0}→K^{-}μ^{+}ν_{μ}) is measured to be [1.06±0.05(stat)±0.08(syst)]×10^{-4}, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second one represents the combined systematic uncertainties. The decay B_{s}^{0}→D_{s}^{-}μ^{+}ν_{μ}, where D_{s}^{-} is reconstructed in the final state K^{+}K^{-}π^{-}, is used as a normalization channel to minimize the experimental systematic uncertainty. Theoretical calculations on the form factors of the B_{s}^{0}→K^{-} and B_{s}^{0}→D_{s}^{-} transitions are employed to determine the ratio of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix elements |V_{ub}|/|V_{cb}| at low and high B_{s}^{0}→K^{-} momentum transfer.

Abstract
Yucca schidigera (YS) is a species of plant rich in antimicrobials, antioxidants, and immunomodulators. It has been used as feed additive to improve animal performance and decrease methane emissions in cattle. However, few studies have evaluated YS in dairy calves. In this study, we evaluated the effects of YS on the growth performance, antioxidant capacity, and immune function in dairy calves before weaning. We randomly assigned 40 newborn female Holstein calves (4 d old; 40 ± 5 kg of body weight) to 1 of 4 treatments (n = 10 per treatment), which were fed 0, 3, 6, or 9 g/d of YS powder. The YS allowance was mixed into milk or milk replacer and fed twice daily. Dry matter intake (both liquid and starter feed) and fecal score were recorded daily, and body weight, withers height, body length, and heart girth were measured at 4, 14, 28, 42, and 60 d of age. Blood was sampled from the jugular vein at 14, 42, and 60 d of age after the afternoon feeding for analysis of serum antioxidant capacity and immune function. Feeding YS did not affect dry matter intake, but decreased the feed-to-gain ratio with a quadratic dose effect. Over the whole study period, the average daily gain tended to linearly increase with the increasing YS doses, and it was 6.8% higher in diets supplemented with 9 g/d of YS than in the basal control diet without YS. The YS supplementation linearly decreased fecal score in a dose-dependent manner, and the frequency of diarrhea was significantly decreased as the YS supplementation increased throughout the whole study period. The YS supplementation also linearly decreased maleic dialdehyde concentration in the serum compared with the control group. The activity of catalase tended to linearly and quadratically increase, and that of glutathione peroxidase increased linearly with the increased YS supplementation. Serum concentrations of IgA and IgG increased linearly with the increased YS supplementation, and that of IgG tended to increase quadratically. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that demonstrated that feeding YS to young calves could improve growth, feed efficiency, and immunity, and decrease fecal score and diarrhea. The results of this study indicated that feeding YS at 9 g/d may be recommended to benefit dairy calves before weaning.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Frailty is known to be influenced by genetics, however, little evidence on the association of Apolipoprotein E (ApoE) genotype and frailty exists which we aim to investigate. DESIGN This study is a cross-sectional analysis from a prospective longitudinal study cohort. SETTING AND PARTICIPANTS Community-dwelling individuals aged 55 years and older from Beijing region in China. MEASUREMENTS A total of 3,569 older adults with a mean age of 75.06(±6.79) years were included. We investigated the association between ApoE polymorphism and frailty syndrome using the frailty index (FI) and frailty phenotype (including association with individual components of the frailty phenotype). Logistic regressions were performed to investigate the relation between ApoE variants and frailty. RESULTS There was no significant association between ApoE variants and frailty as assessed by the FI. In the age and sex-adjusted model, compared to the ApoE e3/e3 carriers ApoE e4 carriers had almost 1.5 times higher odds of being frail as assessed by the frailty phenotype. However, the significance was lost on the model with adjustment for cognitive impairment. Compared to the ApoE e3/e3 carriers ApoE e4 carriers had almost two times higher odds of fatigue. ApoE e4 heterozygotes had higher odds of fatigue compared to ApoE e4 non-carriers. No significant association was found between ApoE variants and other components of frailty phenotype. CONCLUSIONS Our findings do not support an association between ApoE genotype and frailty irrespective of the frailty assessment tools. Fatigue in older adults is the only component of frailty phenotype influenced by ApoE genotype.

Abstract
Reperfusion therapies for ischaemic stroke can induce secondary injury accompanied by neuronal death. The Y-box binding protein 1 (YBX1), an oncoprotein, is critical for regulating tumour cell proliferation and apoptosis. Thus, we wanted to know whether YBX1 could regulate neuronal cell apoptosis caused by cerebral ischaemia/reperfusion (I/R). We established a model of cerebral I/R-induced injury in vitro by oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) treatment and determined YBX1 expression using Western blot. Next, the effect of YBX1 on the apoptosis and viability of OGD/R-treated PC12 cells was evaluated by flow cytometry, MTT assay, and Western blot. Besides, the release of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and the activity of catalase (CAT) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) were detected to evaluate oxidative stress of PC12 cells induced by OGD/R. The regulatory roles of YBX1 in the AKT/GSK3β pathway were examined by Western blot. As a result, OGD/R treatment down-regulated YBX1 expression in PC12 cells. YBX1 over-expression attenuated the growth inhibition and apoptosis of PC12 cells induced by OGD/R. Besides, the increase of LDH release and the decrease of SOD and CAT activities caused by OGD/R were reversed by YBX1 over-expression. Moreover, YBX1 over-expression could activate the AKT/GSK3β pathway in OGD/ R-treated PC12 cells. Therefore, YBX1 could protect against OGD/R-induced injury in PC12 cells through activating the AKT/GSK3β signalling pathway, and thus YBX1 has the potential to become a therapeutic target for cerebral I/R-induced injury.

Abstract
The demand for healthy old-age care is growing rapidly in China. The traditional old-age care model can no longer meet elderly patients' demands for medical care and old-age care. To promote the development of medical care-integrated old-age care, a solution covering multiple aspects is necessary. In the context of the global development of healthy aging, China recently issued many policies to integrate old-age care with medical care, establishing protection for a large number of disabled elderly people. The Integrated Care of Older People (ICOPE) project is an international program developed by the World Health Organization. This paper reviews China's medical and old-age care integration model and the opportunities and challenges in implementing the ICOPE in the context of healthy aging in China.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To determine the association between plasma N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and intrinsic capacity in an older population. METHOD We recruited 283 participants aged 60-97 years (mean 77.42±4.08 years). Intrinsic capacity was assessed with the World Health Organization Integrated Care for Older People (ICOPE) screening tool including six domains: cognition, locomotion, vitality, hearing, vision, and psychology. Multimorbidity, polypharmacy, gait speed, physical activity, lifestyles, and chronic inflammation were assessed. We used multivariate logistic regression and the Spearman's correlation to assess the association between plasma NT-proBNP and intrinsic capacity. RESULTS The average intrinsic capacity score was 4.53±1.34. The percentage of decreased intrinsic capacity was 75.3%. Participants with decreased intrinsic capacity were older, with more cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and polypharmacy, and had lower gait speed and higher C-reactive protein. Plasma NT-proBNP was significantly higher in the decreased intrinsic capacity group (128.0[56.8-280.8] pg/mL vs. 72.6[39.7-120.0] pg/mL, p<0.001). Multivariate logistic regression analysis revealed that NT-proBNP was the only independent risk factor for decreased intrinsic capacity among multiple covariates (odds ratio=1.005, p=0.038). Elevated NT-proBNP levels were associated with abnormal locomotion, hearing, vision, and psychology domains. Additionally, NT-proBNP levels were inversely correlated with the intrinsic capacity score adjusted for both age and coronary artery disease (r=-0.371, p< 0.001). CONCLUSION Elevated NT-proBNP levels were associated with decreased intrinsic capacity in older persons, independent of age, multimorbidity, polypharmacy, and chronic inflammation. Further longitudinal studies are required to explore the predictive role of NT-proBNP on declines in intrinsic capacity.

Abstract
The traditional disease-oriented model of healthcare is inadequate to address the needs of the older population. Greater attention should be given to strategies that promote healthy aging. Recently proposed constructs of intrinsic capacity (IC) and physical resilience (PR) hold great potential to reshape geriatric medicine and aging research. These constructs accentuate the positive health attributes of older people in contrast to the popular frailty construct that is centered on functional deficits. IC was introduced by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a composite of all the physical and mental capacities. WHO has emphasized enhancement of IC throughout the life course so as to maintain functional ability in old age. PR, recently highlighted by the National Institute on Aging, is the ability to successfully cope with stressors. High levels of resilience can result in desirable clinical and functional outcomes after stressors. Therefore, it is important to understand the underlying physiology of PR and the risk factors contributing to diminished PR. The main goal of this article is to explore the potential relationship between IC and PR. Based on a classical theory of aging, we postulate that IC is a determinant of PR and is also a high-level integrative measure of physiologic reserve which is the fundamental factor underlying one's ability to withstand stressors. A major implication of our postulates is that even though IC is only one of the many determinants of PR, it could serve as an important intervenable target for enhancing resilience in older adults.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To explore the association between inflammatory cytokines and intrinsic capacity in older adults. METHOD Data were retrieved from the Cardiovascular Health, Cognition and Aging Study. A total of 130 participants aged 60-99 years (mean age 73.11±9.02 years) were recruited. Intrinsic capacity was assessed by the five domains recommended by the World Health Organization: locomotion, cognition, vitality, sensory and psychological domains. Circulating interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor receptor 1 (TNFR1), insulin-like growth factor-1, and vaspin levels were measured. Logistic regression was conducted for factors associated with intrinsic capacity decline. RESULTS Intrinsic capacity decline was associated with older age, kidney diseases, olfactory disturbances and lower grip strength. Logistic regression showed that circulating TNFR1 was independently associated with intrinsic capacity decline after adjustments for age, sex, education, chronic diseases, grip strength, and physical activity. CONCLUSION Elevated circulating TNFR1 levels are independently associated with declined intrinsic capacity, suggesting that chronic inflammation may underlie intrinsic capacity decline.

Abstract
Although geriatric research in general has increased in recent years, there is no effective treatment for frailty. Among older adults, those with frailty have an increased risk of falls, disability, and death. The population of older adults has increased rapidly in China, and resulting in an increased demand for medical care services for older adults, including those with frailty. However, much of the research on frailty has been conducted in Europe and the United States, and European and American standards for frailty are not always applicable to Chinese individuals. Clinicians and researchers in China have shown increasing interest in frailty in recent years. Here, we reviewed the current state of frailty research in China.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES The burden of multimorbidity is increasing worldwide; however, little is known about trends in multimorbidity prevalence among Chinese older adults. We aimed to estimate the prevalence and trends of multimorbidity in community-dwelling older adults in Beijing. DESIGN Longitudinal. SETTING AND PARTICIPANTS Residents of Beijing aged ≥60 years. MEASUREMENTS Data were derived from the Beijing Longitudinal Study of Aging, using cluster, stratification, and random sampling. A total of 1842, 2914, and 1837 participants were included in the 2004, 2011, and 2017 sample, respectively. Multimorbidity was defined as the presence of two or more chronic conditions. Trends in multimorbidity were examined by age, sex, and geographical area. RESULTS The prevalence of multimorbidity was 32.5%, 52.9%, and 53.2% in 2004, 2011, and 2017, respectively, following an upward trend over time (P =0.003). A similar multimorbidity increase trend was present in age-, sex-, and region-stratified analysis for the 2004-2017 period (all P<0.05). The most common chronic diseases in 2004 were hypertension (34.3%), cataract (18.2%), coronary heart disease (CHD) (15.6%), stroke (14.3%), and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (7.9%); in 2011, these were hypertension (49.6%), arthritis (30.9%), CHD (22.3%), stroke (21.9%), and diabetes (15.1%); in 2017, these were hypertension (54.4%), arthritis (26.3%), stroke (22.6%), cataract (20.5%), and CHD (20.1%). The proportion of older adults diagnosed with ≥3 chronic diseases significantly increased from 13.4% in 2004 to 73.1% in 2011 and 69.5% in 2017. CONCLUSIONS Multimorbidity is common and the overall and age-, sex-, and region-specific multimorbidity prevalence has been increasing over the past 13 years. Public health policies should account for the more complex care needs and growing costs associated with increasing prevalence of chronic disease and multimorbidity in Chinese older adults.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the potential mechanism of sorafenib resistance associated long non-coding RNA (lncRNA-SRLR) promoted invasion and metastasis in U2OS osteosarcoma cells. Methods: We transfected U2OS cells with negative control lentivirus (LV-NC) or lncRNA-SRLR overexpressed lentivirus (LV-over/SRLR) particles. LV-NC and LV-over/SRLR stable transfected cells (U20S/NC and U20S/SRLR) were selected by primary cell culture medium containing puromycin. The mRNA expressions of lncRNA-SRLR and procollagen-lysine, procollagen-lysine 2-oxoglutarate 5-dioxygenase 2 (PLOD2) were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The effect of lncRNA-SRLR on the invasion of U2OS cells were determined by wound-healing assay and Transwell migration assay. The effect of SRLR on the interleukin-6 (IL-6) secretion of U2OS cells was evaluated by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) analysis. The subcellular distribution of SRLR in U2OS cells was detected by fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) analysis.The expression of PLOD2 in cells was detected by immunofluorescence (IF). The expressions of PLOD2 and focal adhesion kinase (FAK)/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) signal pathway related proteins in U2OS/NC and U2OS/SRLR cells were detected by western blotting. Results: qRT-PCR assay showed that mRNA expressions of lncRNA-SRLR and PLOD2 in U2OS/SRLR cells were (3 964.97±0.05) and (2.77±0.11), respectively, significantly higher than those in U2OS/NC cells (P<0.001 or P<0.01). The results of wound-healing and Transwell migration assay showed that over-expression of SRLR markedly promoted the invasion ability of U2OS cells (P<0.05). The result of ELISA analysis showed that the IL-6 secretions in U2OS/NC or U2OS/SRLR cells were (125.38±11.22) pg/ml or (119.97±13.43) pg/ml, without statistical significance (P>0.05). The subcellular distribution assay revealed that lncRNA-SRLR is predominately located in the nucleus. The result of IF showed that compared with U2OS/NC cells, the expression of PLOD2 was up-regulated in U2OS/SRLR cells. The result of western blotting showed that over-expression of SRLR significantly increased the expression levels of PLOD2, phosphorylation (p)-FAK and p-STAT3 in U2OS cells (P<0.01). Conclusion: lncRNA-SRLR promotes invasion and metastasis of osteosarcoma by activating PLOD2-FAK/STAT3 signal axis.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the therapeutic effects of ticagrelor and clopidogrel on patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and its effect of lncRNA BANCR. PATIENTS AND METHODS A total of 169 AMI patients admitted to our hospital from June 2015 to July 2018 were prospectively selected, of which 82 patients treated with clopidogrel were enrolled in the clopidogrel group (CG) and 87 patients treated with ticagrelor were enrolled in the ticagrelor group (TG). The therapeutic effect, serum lncRNA BANCR, platelet count, maximum platelet aggregation rate, serum troponin Ⅰ (cTnI), serum creatine kinase isoenzyme (CK-MB), and serum high sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) levels of the two groups of patients were detected and compared before and after treatment. The incidence of adverse reactions (ADR) and the occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) within 6 months after treatment were recorded and compared, and the predictive value of BANCR on therapeutic effect and MACE occurrence was analyzed. RESULTS The therapeutic effect of TG was remarkably better than that of CG (p<0.05), and the improvement of serum BANCR, platelet count, maximum platelet aggregation rate, cTnⅠ, CK-MB, hs-CRP levels of the TG were remarkably better than that of CG (p<0.05). The incidence of ADR and MACE in the TG were notably lower than the CG (p<0.05). The expression of BANCR in the serum of patients with better therapeutic effect was significantly lower than that of patients with invalid treatment (p<0.05). The expression of BANCR in the serum of patients without MACE was significantly lower than that of patients with MACE (p<0.05). BANCR had high predictive value for both therapeutic effect and occurrence of MACE. CONCLUSIONS The effect of ticagrelor on AMI patients is significantly better than clopidogrel, and has higher safety. It can effectively reduce the content of BANCR in the serum of AMI patients, which is worthy of further promotion in clinical practice. Moreover, the predictive value of BANCR for the efficacy of AMI patients and the occurrence of MACE was high.

Abstract
In the present study, we analyzed the effects of Glycyrrhiza polysaccharide (GCP) on growth performance, serum antioxidant capacity, and biochemistry of broilers. A total of 600, one-day-old AA broilers randomly divided into 5 treatment groups with 6 replicate pens of 20 birds per cage received dietary supplementation with GCP (0, 200, 500, 1,000, and 1,500 mg/kg) for 42 d. The supplementation of GCP linearly decreased (P < 0.05) feed conversion rate on day 22 to 42. Dietary supplementation with GCP reduced (P < 0.05) serum total cholesterol on day 21 and 42 and linearly improved (P < 0.05) albumin and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol. Dietary supplementation with 1,000 or 1,500 mg/kg GCP significantly increased (P < 0.05) serum total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD) activity on day 21 and 42 and reduced (P < 0.05) serum malondialdehyde content on 21 d. Dietary supplementation with 1,000 or 1,500 mg/kg GCP significantly improved (P < 0.05) interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) expressions in liver on day 21 and 42. At the end of the experiment, we randomly selected 20 broilers from 3 treatment groups (0, 1,000, and 1,500 mg/kg), respectively, to perform an lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced acute stress experiment. The 60 broilers were divided into 6 treatment groups with 10 birds per cage. The experiment was designed as a 3 × 2 factorial arrangement with GCP (0, 1,000, or 1,500 mg/kg) and LPS (injection of saline or 1 mg/kg body weight) levels as treatments. When the grouping was finished, the broilers were immediately intraperitoneally injected with LPS or normal saline. Six hours after challenged, serum antioxidant and liver immunity were analyzed. The results showed that dietary GCP prevented LPS-induced reductions in T-SOD activity and increases in malonaldehyde content (P < 0.05). Also, dietary GCP supplementation mitigated the LPS-induced increase in IL-1β and IFN-γ in the liver. Supplementation with 1,500 mg/kg GCP showed the most optimal effect in broilers. GCP has the potential to be used as feed additive in broilers.
