Abstract
Background Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a malignant tumor that seriously threatens human health. A CRC predictive model can be used as an effective method to provide an appropriate treatment for CRC patients. Methods A total of 34 CRC patients were enrolled in this study. After performing 1000-gene panel targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS), high-frequency mutation genes were screened, and their functional terms and pathways were enriched. In The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) CRC cases, the risk factors for overall survival (OS) were screened by univariate and multivariate analysis, and a predictive model was constructed and verified. Subsequently, the relationship among mutation status, gene expression, methylation level, and OS was analyzed to explore the molecular mechanism of CRC progression. Results A total of 26 high-frequency mutation genes were screened, which were mainly enriched in breast cancer and proteoglycans in cancer pathways. The clinical parameters of age, stage, recurrence and metastasis, the mutation status of APC, BRCA2, CDH1, SMO, and TSC2 were identified as risk factors for the construction of the predictive model. The areas under the receiver operating characteristic curve were 0.734, 0.754, 0.774, and 0.74 for 1-, 3-, 5- and 7-year survival in the model group, respectively. Conclusions We identified several mutated genes and clinical parameters affecting OS and established a model to better predict the OS of CRC patients.

Abstract
Purpose To understand the long term effect of COVID-19 on 1) heart transplant waitlist trends and on 2) heart transplant case numbers in the United States. Methods The number of new adult heart transplant waitlist additions and transplant procedures were obtained from the UNOS database. Our time frame includes the 52 weeks between September 3, 2019 and September 4, 2020. Temporal changes in waitlist additions and heart transplants were analyzed using interrupted time series analyses with two transition periods. The first transition from the pre-COVID to the post-COVID era was determined as the week of March 11, 2020, when the first state imposed stay-at-home orders. The second transition period was determined as the first state re-opening during the week of April 22, 2020. Results Weekly waitlist additions were decreasing at -0.19 additions per week (95% CI: -0.35 to -0.03, p=0.018) prior to the COVID-19 era, defined as before the week of March 11, 2020, with a significant decrease in weekly waitlist additions of -2.09 (95% CI: -2.44 to -1.73, p< 0.001) during the post-COVID-19 era and prior to the first state re-opening the week of April 22, 2020 (Figure A). Weekly waitlist additions increased at 2.16 additions per week (95% CI: 1.81 to 2.51, p<0.001) following the first state announcing re-opening the week of April 22, 2020. Weekly transplants were relatively unstable, although decreasing at -0.003 transplants per week (95% CI: -0.279 to 0.273, p=0.984) in the pre-COVID era, and were trending downward at -0.18 transplants per week (95% CI: -0.3702 to 0.0036, p=0.054) thereafter (Figure B). The number of transplants rebounded and increased significantly at 0.49 transplants per week (95% CI: 0.26 to 0.72, p<0.001) after April 22, 2020. Conclusion The number of heart transplants and waitlist additions decreased significantly due to COVID-19 and rebounded following the first US state reopening the week of April 22, 2020. Waitlist additions continue to rise past levels observed during the pre-COVID era.

Abstract
AIM This study aimed to analyse bacterial community and biomineralization products from Wudalianchi non-active volcanic field and the relationship between magnetization and bacterial community. METHODS AND RESULTS Eighteen sediment samples obtained from Wenbo Lake, high-throughput sequencing and quantitative PCR (qPCR) were separately employed to investigate the bacterial community composition dynamics and abundance variation of the sediment sample with the highest iron-reducing capacity during incubation. The mineralization products were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and variable-temperature magnetism analyses. The results showed that the highest iron reduction rate was 98·06%. Seven phyla were identified as dominant bacterial phyla during the incubation process. Iron-reducing bacteria (FeRB) including Geobacter, Desulfosporosinus and Clostridium were involved in the iron mineralization process. The 16S rDNA copy numbers of sediment decreased quickly and then stayed steady during the incubation. Bacteria with rod-shaped and spheroid species were involved in extracellular iron reduction to produce magnetic particles with massive aggregation and columnar structures on the mineral surface morphologies. The materials produced by the microbial community over the incubation period were sequentially identified as siderite, magnetite and maghemite. The magnetism of the mineral samples gradually increased from 0·31748 to 33·58423 emu g-1 with increased incubation time. The final products showed relatively stable magnetism under 0-400 K. Meanwhile, the saturation magnetization (MS ) of the mineralized substance was tightly associated with bacterial diversity (P < 0·05). CONCLUSIONS Bacterial community varied during incubation of iron-reducing sediment of volcanic lake. Various iron mineral crystals were in turn formed extracellularly by FeRB. The magnetism of mineralized products was tightly associated with bacterial community. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY These results not only help us to better understand the iron mineralization of FeRB in the volcanic lake sediments but also provide basic information for the future application of FeRB in environmental bioremediation.

Abstract
Background Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common cancers. The aim of our study was to explore its related mutations, identify novel mutation markers, and construct predictive models for postoperative CRC patients, so as to provide evidence for the diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis of CRC. Methods A total 50 CRC patients were collected, and the mutations in tissue samples were detected through next-generation sequencing (NGS). Meanwhile, 246 CRC cases with complete mutation data were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. Afterwards, the co-mutations in both clinical and TCGA cohorts were identified, and the high-frequency mutation genes were selected. Subsequently, functional enrichment analysis was performed, and overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) predictive models were constructed. Results In all, 18 out of 238 co-mutation genes mutated in at least 20% of the samples and were selected out as common high-frequency mutation genes. They were significantly enriched in 460 Gene Ontology (GO) terms and 87 Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathways (P<0.05), which were closely related to the occurrence and development of CRC. Among the 18 genes, NOTCH3, histone lysine methyltransferase 2C (KMT2C), and cAMP-response element binding protein-BP (CREBBP) were respectively associated with tumor position, stage, and PFS (P<0.05), and could be considered as potential biomarkers of CRC. Finally, OS and PFS predictive models were constructed and verified using the 50 clinical cases, with both models demonstrating high fitting degrees useful for predicting the OS and PFS of CRC patients. Conclusions NOTCH3, KMT2C, and CREBBP were found to be prospective biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of CRC. The prognosis prediction models had high sensitivity and could be used to predict the OS and PFS of CRC patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Quantitation of tricuspid regurgitant (TR) severity can be challenging with conventional echocardiographic imaging and may be better evaluated using cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR). OBJECTIVES In patients with functional TR, this study sought to examine the relationship between TR volume (TRVol) and TR fraction (TRF) with all-cause mortality. METHODS We examined 547 patients with functional TR using CMR to quantify TRVol and TRF. The primary outcome was all-cause mortality. Thresholds for mild, moderate, and severe TR were derived based on natural history outcome data. RESULTS During a median follow-up of 2.6 years (interquartile range: 1.7 to 3.3 years), there were 93 deaths, with an estimated 5-year survival of 79% (95% confidence interval [CI]: 73% to 83%). After adjustment of clinical and imaging variables, including RV function, both TRF (adjusted hazard ratio [AHR] per 10% increment: 1.26; 95% CI: 1.10 to 1.45; p = 0.001) and TRVol (AHR per 10-ml increment: 1.15; 95% CI: 1.04 to 1.26; p = 0.004) were associated with mortality. Patients in the highest-risk strata of TRVol ≥45 ml or TRF ≥50% had the worst prognosis (AHR: 2.26; 95% CI: 1.36 to 3.76; p = 0.002 for TRVol and AHR: 2.60; 95% CI: 1.45 to 4.66; p = 0.001 for TRF). CONCLUSIONS This is the first study to use CMR to assess independent prognostic implications of functional TR. Both TRF and TRVol were associated with increased mortality after adjustment for clinical and imaging covariates, including right ventricular ejection fraction. A TRVol of ≥45 ml or TRF of ≥50% identified patients in the highest-risk strata for mortality. These CMR thresholds should be used for patient selection in future trials to determine if tricuspid valve intervention improves outcomes in this high-risk group.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To investigate the association between frailty status and risk of fall among middle-aged and older Chinese people. DESIGN A nationally representative prospective cohort study. SETTING AND PARTICIPANTS The study included 13,877 community-dwelling participants aged 45 years and above from the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study. METHODS Frailty status was identified by the frailty index of health deficit accumulation. 34 variables at baseline were selected to calculate the frailty index. We excluded participants with incomplete information in construction of the frailty index at baseline. Falls were measured based on the respondents' self-report. We used a logistic regression model to estimate the associations between the frailty status and risk of fall, and subgroup analyses and sensitivity analyses were further conducted. RESULTS Of 13,877 participants, 2310 (16.6%) had falls during the observation period. 9027 (65.0%) participants were classified as robust, 4019 (29.0%) participants were classified as pre-frail, and 831 (6.0%) participants were classified as frail. Our results indicated per 0.01 increment in the frailty index was significantly associated with an increased risk of fall among middle-aged and older participants (OR: 1.52, 95%CI: 1.45-1.60). Such association was stronger when frailty was presented as a categorical variable, with an OR of 1.75 (95%CI: 1.59-1.93) for pre-frail and 3.04 (95%CI: 2.60-3.56) for frail. The area under the curve of the logistic model was 0.612 (95%CI: 0.600-0.625). Each 0.01 increment of the frailty index was association with a higher risk of fall among middle-aged (45-59years) participants (OR: 1.44, 95%CI: 1.29-1.60) than among older (≥60 years) participants (OR: 1.28, 95%CI: 1.16-1.41) at baseline (p=0.015 for interaction). CONCLUSION Frailty was significantly associated with an increased risk of fall among community-dwelling middle-aged and older people in China. It is necessary to screen and recognize frailty status to prevent falls among middle-aged and older adults.

Abstract
Objective: To describe the COVID-19 epidemic and its characteristics in Heilongjiang province, and provide evidence for the further prevention and control of COVID-19 in the province. Methods: The information of COVID-19 cases and clusters were collected from national notifiable disease report system and management information system for reporting public health emergencies of China CDC. The Software's of Excel 2010 and SPSS 23.0 were applied for data cleaning and statistical analysis on the population, time and area distributions of COVID-19 cases. Results: On January 22, 2020, the first confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported in Heilongjiang. By March 11, 2020, a total of 482 cases domestic case of COVID-19, The incidence rate was 1.28/100 000, the mortality rate was 2.70% (13/482) in 13 municipalities in Heilongjiang. There were 81 clusters of COVID-19, The number of confirmed cases accounted for 79.25% (382/482) of the total confirmed cases and 12 cases of deaths. The family clusters accounted for 86.42% (70/81). Compared with the sporadic cases, the mortality rate, proportion of elderly cases aged 60 or above and severe or critical cases of clinical classification were all higher in the clusters especially the family clusters, but the differences were not significant (P>0.05). There were 34 clusters involving more than 5 confirmed cases accounted for 41.98% (34/81) of the total clusters, the involved cases accounted for 68.31% (261/382) of the total cases of clusters. There were significant differences in age distribution of the cases among the case clusters with different case numbers. In the clusters involving 6-9 cases, the proportion of cases aged 65 years or above was more (26.53%, 39/147). Conclusions: The incidence rate of COVID-19 was relatively high and the early epidemic was serious in Heilongjiang, The number of cases was large in clusters especially family clusters.

Abstract
Background The aim of the present study was to construct a nomogram model of high-risk stage III/IV colorectal cancer (CRC). Methods Gene mutation and clinical information of 251 CRC patients were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). Targeted next-generation sequencing was performed on 44 patients to screen shared mutation genes with frequency >5% between TCGA and clinical cohorts. Univariable and multivariable logistic regression analyses were used to analyze the mutant genes and clinical indexes, and a high-risk stage III/IV nomogram model was constructed. The nomogram model was further validated in the clinical cohort. Results SMAD family member 4 (SMAD4), zinc finger homeobox 3 (ZFHX3), and phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate-dependent Rac exchanger 2 (PREX2) mutations; pathological location; and preoperative carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) value were screened out to compose a high-risk III/IV nomogram model. The nomogram had good calibration and discriminative ability, with an area under the curve of 0.76 [95% confidence interval (CI): 0.69-0.84]. Hosmer-Leme show test indicated that the model had good goodness of fit (P=0.83). The decision curve revealed this a nomogram model was feasible in clinical practice. In our clinical cohort, the calibration curve did not show good calibration and discrimination. Conclusions We established a nomogram model, including the mutation status of SMAD4, ZFHX3, and PREX2; pathological location; and preoperative CEA value, which showed accuracy in the risk prediction of stage III/IV CRC patients.

Abstract
Management of posterior tibial plateau fractures has gained much interest over the past few years. Fracture morphology, trauma mechanism, and soft-tissue injury have been identified as the key factors determining the treatment strategy and outcome. We provide a rationale for the operative management of posterior tibial plateau fractures by discussing the interplay between fracture morphology, trauma mechanism, and soft-tissue injury. The trauma mechanism has proven to be an important tool, not only to understand fracture morphology, but also to assess concomitant soft-tissue (i.e. ligamentous) injury. Subsequently, soft-tissue injury might play a role in future classification and diagnostic work-up of tibial plateau fractures, particularly in fractures with posterior involvement. Plate osteosynthesis using a posterior approach is safe and should be considered routinely in coronal fractures of the posterior tibial plateau, as illustrated.

Abstract
Metastasis accounts for poor prognosis of cancers and related deaths. Accumulating evidence has shown that long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play critical roles in several types of cancer. However, which lncRNAs contribute to metastasis of colon cancer is still largely unknown. In this study, we found that lncRNA LINC01578 was correlated with metastasis and poor prognosis of colon cancer. LINC01578 was upregulated in colon cancer, associated with metastasis, advanced clinical stages, poor overall survival, disease-specific survival, and disease-free survival. Gain-of-function and loss-of-function assays revealed that LINC01578 enhanced colon cancer cell viability and mobility in vitro and colon cancer liver metastasis in vivo. Mechanistically, nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) and Yin Yang 1 (YY1) directly bound to the LINC01578 promoter, enhanced its activity, and activated LINC01578 expression. LINC01578 was shown to be a chromatin-bound lncRNA, which directly bound NFKBIB promoter. Furthermore, LINC01578 interacted with and recruited EZH2 to NFKBIB promoter and further repressed NFKBIB expression, thereby activating NF-κB signaling. Through activation of NF-κB, LINC01578 further upregulated YY1 expression. Through activation of the NF-κB/YY1 axis, LINC01578 in turn enhanced its own promoter activity, suggesting that LINC01578 and NF-κB/YY1 formed a positive feedback loop. Blocking NF-κB signaling abolished the oncogenic roles of LINC01578 in colon cancer. Furthermore, the expression levels of LINC01578, NFKBIB, and YY1 were correlated in clinical tissues. Collectively, this study demonstrated that LINC01578 promoted colon cancer metastasis via forming a positive feedback loop with NF-κB/YY1 and suggested that LINC01578 represents a potential prognostic biomarker and therapeutic target for colon cancer metastasis.

Abstract
Objectives Atypical glandular cells (AGC) detected by Papanicolaou (Pap) smears are in close relation with adenocarcinoma and precursors detected by histopathology. Yet, sometimes the cytological diagnosis of AGC has been neglected. With increase of adenocarcinoma and precursors, we need more focus on glandular abnormalities. Material and Methods Clinicopathological data of patients who had AGC on Pap smears between April 2015 and October 2018 and underwent histological follow-up were retrieved from the computerized database of Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Capital Medical University. Patients with a prior history of cancer were excluded from the study. Statistical analyses were performed using Pearson's Chi-square test in SPSS software version 23. P < 0.05 (two sided) was considered as statistical significance. Results Liquid-based cytological examination of the uterine cervix was carried out in 164,080 women. Five hundred and twenty-five women were diagnosed with AGC, 314 with not otherwise specified (AGC-NOS), and 211 with favor neoplastic (AGC-FN). Only 310 cases had histological follow-up, 168 women (168/314, 53.5%) originally with AGC-NOS on Pap smears, and 142 (142/211, 67.3%) with AGC-FN. The median age of histological significant abnormalities was 46.7 years, and 126 women (126/162, 77.8%) were postmenopausal. Sixty-six cases (66/168, 39.3%) of AGC-NOS had significant abnormalities (96/142, 67.6%, AGC-FN). One hundred and sixty-two cases of significant abnormalities included 40 high-grade squamous abnormalities and 122 glandular abnormalities. AGC-FN was more likely to be associated with a clinically significant abnormalities (P < 0.001) compared to AGC-NOS. Conclusions Patients with AGC on Pap smears are in close relation with significant abnormalities, especially with significant glandular abnormalities on histopathology slices. AGC should be evaluated vigilantly with histological workup, especially if patients are diagnosed with AGC-FN and are aged 41-60 years. We need more focus on AGC.

Abstract
Hydatidiform moles are classified at the genetic level as androgenetic complete mole and diandric-monogynic partial mole. Conflicting data exist whether heterozygous complete moles are more aggressive clinically than homozygous complete moles. We investigated clinical outcome in a large cohort of hydatidiform moles in Chinese patients with an emphasis on genotypical correlation with post-molar gestational trophoblastic disease. Consecutive products of conceptions undergoing DNA genotyping and p57 immunohistochemistry to rule out molar gestations were included from a 5-year period at Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital. Patient demographics and clinical follow-up information were obtained. Post-molar gestational trophoblastic disease or gestational trophoblastic neoplasia was determined by the 2002 WHO/FIGO criteria. A total of 1245 products of conceptions were classified based on genotyping results into 219 complete moles, 250 partial moles, and 776 non-molar gestations. Among 219 complete moles, 186 were homozygous/monospermic and 33 were heterozygous/dispermic. Among 250 partial moles, 246 were triploid dispermic, 2 were triploid monospermic, and 2 were tetraploid heterozygous partial moles. Among 776 non-molar gestations, 644 were diploid without chromosomal aneuploidies detectable by STR genotyping and 132 had various genetic abnormalities including 122 cases of various trisomies, 2 triploid digynic-monoandric non-molar gestations, 7 cases of possible chromosomal monosomy or uniparental disomy. Successful follow-up was achieved in 165 complete moles: post-molar gestational trophoblastic disease developed in 11.6% (16/138 cases) of homozygous complete moles and 37.0% (10/27 cases) of heterozygous complete moles. The difference between the two groups was highly significant (p = 0.0009, chi-square). None of the 218 partial moles and 367 non-molar gestations developed post-molar gestational trophoblastic disease. In conclusion, heterozygous/dispermic complete moles are clinically more aggressive with a significantly higher risk for development of post-molar gestational trophoblastic disease compared with homozygous/monospermic complete moles. Therefore, precise genotyping classification of complete moles is important for clinical prognosis and patient management.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the application value of molecular detection in the differential diagnosis of ovarian adult granulosa cell tumors (AGCT) by analyzing FOXL2, AKT1 and DICER1 mutations in these tumors. Methods: A total of 48 cases of ovarian sex cord-stromal tumor (SCST) were selected from July 2012 to June 2019 in Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, including 21 adult granulosa cell tumors (AGCT), 15 fibromas/fibrothecomas, 8 Sertoli-Leydig cell tumors (SLCT) and 4 other types of ovarian SCST. Genomic DNA was extracted from the formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Polymerase chain reaction amplification for FOXL2, AKT1 and DICER1 genes was performed, followed by sequencing using capillary electrophoresis. Fisher exact test was used to compare the prevalence difference of FOXL2, AKT1 and DICER1 mutations among the groups. P<0.05 was considered significant. Results: Eighteen of the 21 (85.7%) AGCT harbored FOXL2 mutation. Compared with other SCST (13.0%, 3 of 23; including fibromas/fibrothecomas and SLCT), FOXL2 mutation was significantly higher in AGCT (P<0.001). In addition, FOXL2 mutation was also detected in one fibrothecoma, two SLCT and two gynandroblastomas. DICER1 mutation was identified in four of eight SLCT, and these cases were moderately to poorly differentiated. FOXL2 mutation was found in one SLCT with DICER1 mutation. There was no DICER1 mutation in other ovarian SCST. No AKT1 mutation was detected in all the patients. Conclusions: FOXL2 mutation is a highly specific biomarker for adult AGCT and may be helpful to resolve problematic cases. Diagnosis should also be taken into consideration of the clinical and histological features as FOXL2 mutation is also found in other SCST. The detection of DICER1 mutation is helpful for the differential diagnosis of ovarian SLCT. Synchronous DICER1 and FOXL2 mutation in the SLCT has been observed, and its significance needs to be further studied.

Abstract
Long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) has been reported could regulate initiation and progression of colon adenocarcinoma (COAD) tumorigenesis in recent years. Small nucleolar RNA host gene 17 (SNHG17) was found play crucial roles in cancer progression but its role in COAD remains unclear. In this work, qRT-PCR was performed to detect SNHG17 expression level in COAD cell lines. Roles of SNHG17 on COAD cell behaviors were analyzed with gain and loss-of-function experiments. Luciferase activity assay, RNA pull-down assay, and RNA immunoprecipitant assay were performed to analyze the association of SNHG17 or chromobox 3 (CBX3) with microRNA-375 (miR-375). Effects of SNHG17 on miR-375/CBX3 axis were analyzed by rescue experiments. We showed SNHG17 was upregulated expression in COAD tissues and cells. Functionally, SNHG17 could promote COAD cell proliferation, colony formation, migration, and invasion in vitro. Further investigations showed SNHG17 serves as competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) for miR-375 to regulate CBX3 expression. Additionally, we showed the roles of SNHG17 on COAD cell behaviors were exerted via miR-375/CBX3 axis. In conclusion, we demonstrated a novel SNHG17/miR-375/CBX3 triplets that participates in COAD progression, which may provide promising therapeutic targets for COAD.

Abstract
Background Elevated lipoprotein(a) is a well‐established risk factor for atherosclerotic vascular disease but is not measured in routine clinical care. Screening of high lipoprotein(a) in individuals with moderate elevations of low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL‐C) may identify individuals at high risk of cardiovascular disease. Methods and Results We examined 2606 Framingham Offspring participants (median age, 54 years; 45% men) prospectively with a median follow‐up of 15 years (n=392 incident cardiovascular events). Individuals with higher (≥100 nmol/L) versus lower lipoprotein(a) were divided into groups based on LDL‐C <135 mg/dL versus ≥135 mg/dL. In Cox models, after adjustment for known risk factors, high lipoprotein(a) (≥100 nmol/L) and LDL‐C ≥135 mg/dL were each significant predictors of cardiovascular disease (LDL‐C ≥135 mg/dL: hazard ratio [HR], 1.34; 95% CI, 1.09–1.64; P=0.006; high lipoprotein (a): HR, 1.31; 95% CI, 1.03–1.66; P=0.026). Across the groups of high/low lipoprotein (a) and LDL‐C ≥135 mg/dL or <135 mg/dL, the absolute cardiovascular disease risks at 15 years were 22.6% (high lipoprotein(a)/LDL‐C ≥135 mg/dL, n=248), 17.3% (low lipoprotein(a)/LDL‐C ≥135 mg/dL, n=758), 12.7% (high lipoprotein(a)/LDL‐C <135 mg/dL, n=275) and 11.5% (low lipoprotein(a)/LDL‐C <135 mg/dL, n=1328, reference group). Among individuals with LDL‐C ≥135 mg/dL, those with high lipoprotein(a) had a 43% higher risk (HR, 1.43; 95% CI, 1.05–1.97; P=0.02). Presence of high lipoprotein(a) with moderate LDL‐C levels (135–159 mg/dL) yielded absolute risks equivalent to those with LDL‐C ≥160 mg/dL (23.5%, 95% CI, 17.4%–31.3%; and 20.7%, 95% CI, 16.8%–25.3%, respectively). Conclusions Concomitant elevation of LDL‐C ≥135 mg/dL and lipoprotein(a) ≥100 nmol/L is associated with a high absolute risk of incident cardiovascular disease. lipoprotein(a) measurement in individuals with moderate elevations in LDL‐C, who do not otherwise meet criteria for statins, may identify individuals at high cardiovascular risk.

Abstract
Currently, there is limited knowledge about the immunological profiles of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). We used computer-based immunoinformatic analysis and the newly resolved 3-dimensional (3D) structures of the SARS-CoV-2 S trimeric protein, together with analyses of the immunogenic profiles of SARS-CoV, to anticipate potential B-cell and T-cell epitopes of the SARS-CoV-2 S protein for vaccine design, particularly for peptide-driven vaccine design and serological diagnosis. Nine conserved linear B-cell epitopes and multiple discontinuous B-cell epitopes composed of 69 residues on the surface of the SARS-CoV-2 trimeric S protein were predicted to be highly antigenic. We found that the SARS-CoV-2 S protein has a different antigenic profile than that of the SARS-CoV S protein due to the variations in their primary and 3D structures. Importantly, SARS-CoV-2 may exploit an immune evasion mechanism through two point mutations in the critical and conserved linear neutralization epitope (overlap with fusion peptide) around a sparsely glycosylated area. These mutations lead to a significant decrease in the antigenicity of this epitope in the SARS-CoV-2 S protein. In addition, 62 T-cell epitopes in the SARS-CoV-2 S protein were predicted in our study. The structure-based immunoinformatic analysis for the SARS-CoV-2 S protein in this study may improve vaccine design, diagnosis, and immunotherapy against the pandemic of COVID-19.
