Abstract
BackgroundSocial distancing has been implemented by many countries to curb the COVID-19 pandemic. Understanding public support for this policy calls for effective and efficient methods of monitoring public opinion on social distancing. Twitter analysis has been suggested as a cheaper and faster-responding alternative to traditional survey methods. The current empirical evidence is mixed in terms of the correspondence between the two methods.ObjectiveWe aim to compare the two methods in the context of monitoring the Dutch public's opinion on social distancing. For this comparison, we quantified the temporal and spatial variations in public opinion and their sensitivities to critical events using data from both Dutch Twitter users and respondents from a longitudinal survey.MethodsA longitudinal survey on a representative Dutch sample (n = 1,200) was conducted between July and November 2020 to measure opinions on social distancing weekly. From the same period, near 100,000 Dutch tweets were categorized as supporting or rejecting social distancing based on a model trained with annotated data. Average stances for the 12 Dutch provinces and over the 20 weeks were computed from the two data sources and were compared through visualizations and statistical analyses.ResultsBoth data sources suggested strong support for social distancing, but public opinion was much more varied among tweets than survey responses. Both data sources showed an increase in public support for social distancing over time, and a strong temporal correspondence between them was found for most of the provinces. In addition, the survey but not Twitter data revealed structured differences among the 12 provinces, while the two data sources did not correspond much spatially. Finally, stances estimated from tweets were more sensitive to critical events happened during the study period.ConclusionsOur findings indicate consistencies between Twitter data analysis and survey methods in describing the overall stance on social distancing and temporal trends. The lack of spatial correspondence may imply limitations in the data collections and calls for surveys with larger regional samples. For public health management, Twitter analysis can be used to complement survey methods, especially for capturing public's reactivities to critical events amid the current pandemic.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of cervical rotatory manipulation (CRM) on hemodynamics and plaque stability of atherosclerotic internal carotid artery (ICA) in rabbits. METHODS Forty rabbits were randomly divided into 4 groups: (1) internal carotid atherosclerosis (ICAS) rabbits treated with CRM (ICAS-CRM group); (2) ICAS rabbits treated without CRM (ICAS group), (3) Normal-CRM group (normal rabbits treated with CRM), and (4) blank control group. In the ICAS-CRM group and ICAS group, the ICAS model was induced by ICA balloon injury combined with a high-fat diet for 12 weeks. CRM was applied to rabbits in the ICAS-CRM and the Normal-CRM groups. During the study, an ultrasonography examination was performed for detecting plaque and hemodynamics on the ICAs. At the end of the study, all atherosclerotic ICAs were removed for histological and immunohistochemical detection. RESULTS The hemodynamics (especially end-diastolic velocity, resistance index, and pulsatility index) through the ICAs were adversely affected by atherosclerosis while not adversely affected by CRM. Compared with the ICAS group, the micro-vessel density and average integrated optical densities of macrophages in the ICAS-CRM group were significantly increased. Compared to the ICAS group, in the ICAS-CRM group, the atherosclerosis was more serious, and the tunica intima was more unstable. CONCLUSIONS Although CRM did not affect the hemodynamic index of ICA, it was observed to decrease the stability of severe ICAS plaques in rabbits, which may increase the plaque vulnerability.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate whether completing a decision aid, Personal Patient Profile - Prostate (P3P), prior to prostatectomy, affects self-reported bother from post-prostatectomy urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction. MATERIALS AND METHODS This retrospective analysis included data from men with newly diagnosed clinically localized, very low to intermediate risk prostate cancer who elected for prostatectomy within the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative between 2018-2021. Multivariable logistic regression models were used to estimate the association between P3P use and bother from post prostatectomy erectile dysfunction and urinary incontinence as measured by the Expanded Prostate Cancer Index Composite (EPIC-26). RESULTS Among the 3987 patients included, 7% used P3P (n = 266). Men who used P3P reported significantly less bother from erectile dysfunction at 6 months vs non-users (aOR 0.42 [95% CI 0.27-0.66]). At 12 months, the effect of P3P on bother from erectile dysfunction was not statistically significant (aOR 0.62 [95% CI 0.37-1.03]). Men who used P3P did not have a statistically significant difference in bother from urinary incontinence (3-month: aOR 0.56 [95% CI 0.30-1.06]; 6-month; aOR 0.79 [95% CI 0.31-1.97]). CONCLUSION Within the stated limitations of this study, we find that use of a decision aid for localized prostate cancer was associated with decreased odds of men being bothered from sexual dysfunction but not urinary incontinence at 6 months post prostatectomy.

Abstract
Intercalation-type metal oxides are promising negative electrode materials for safe rechargeable lithium-ion batteries due to the reduced risk of Li plating at low voltages. Nevertheless, their lower energy and power density along with cycling instability remain bottlenecks for their implementation, especially for fast-charging applications. Here, we report a nanostructured rock-salt Nb2O5 electrode formed through an amorphous-to-crystalline transformation during repeated electrochemical cycling with Li+. This electrode can reversibly cycle three lithiums per Nb2O5, corresponding to a capacity of 269 mAh g-1 at 20 mA g-1, and retains a capacity of 191 mAh g-1 at a high rate of 1 A g-1. It exhibits superb cycling stability with a capacity of 225 mAh g-1 at 200 mA g-1 for 400 cycles, and a Coulombic efficiency of 99.93%. We attribute the enhanced performance to the cubic rock-salt framework, which promotes low-energy migration paths. Our work suggests that inducing crystallization of amorphous nanomaterials through electrochemical cycling is a promising avenue for creating unconventional high-performance metal oxide electrode materials.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To assess which patients with intermediate-risk PCa would benefit from a pelvic lymph node dissection (PLND) across the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative, given the discrepancy in recommendations. AUA guidelines for localized prostate cancer (PCa) state that PLND is indicated for patients with unfavorable intermediate-risk and high-risk PCa and can be considered in favorable intermediate-risk patients. NCCN guidelines recommend PLND when risk for nodal disease is ≥2%. METHODS Data regarding all robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) (March 2012-October 2020) were prospectively collected, including patient, and surgeon characteristics. Univariate and multivariate analyses of PLND rate and lymph node involvement (LN+) were performed. RESULTS Among 8,591 men undergoing RARP for intermediate-risk PCa, 80.2% were performed with PLND (n = 6883), of which 2.9% were LN+ (n = 198). According to the current AUA risk stratification system, 1.2% of favorable intermediate-risk PCa and 4.7% of unfavorable intermediate-risk PCa demonstrated LN+. There were also differences in the LN+ rates among the subgroups of favorable (0.0%-1.3%), and unfavorable (3.5%-5.0%) categories. Additional factors associated with higher LN+ rates include ≥50% cores positive, ≥35% involvement at any core, and unfavorable genomic classifier result, none of which contribute to the favorable/unfavorable subgroups. CONCLUSION These data support PLND at RARP for all patients with unfavorable intermediate-risk PCa. Our data also indicate patients with favorable intermediate-risk prostate cancer at greatest risk for LN+ are those with ≥50% cores positive, ≥35% involvement at any core, and/or unfavorable genomic classifier result.

Abstract
Accurately identifying DNA polymorphisms can bridge the gap between phenotypes and genotypes and is essential for molecular marker assisted genetic studies. Genome complexities, including large-scale structural variations, bring great challenges to bioinformatic analysis for obtaining high-confidence genomic variants, as sequence differences between non-allelic loci of two or more genomes can be misinterpreted as polymorphisms. It is important to correctly filter out artificial variants to avoid false genotyping or estimation of allele frequencies. Here, we present an efficient and effective framework, inGAP-family, to discover, filter, and visualize DNA polymorphisms and structural variants (SVs) from alignment of short reads. Applying this method to polymorphism detection on real datasets shows that elimination of artificial variants greatly facilitates the precise identification of meiotic recombination points as well as causal mutations in mutant genomes or quantitative trait loci. In addition, inGAP-family provides a user-friendly graphical interface for detecting polymorphisms and SVs, further evaluating predicted variants and identifying mutations related to genotypes. Abstract
BackgroundInadequately treated gout patients could develop tophi. However, tophi could appear as atypical mass, leading to difficulty in differential diagnosis.ObjectivesThe objectives of the study were to describe an unusual case with tophi anterior to the Thyroid Cartilage using different imaging methods.MethodsClinical information of the case was presented. Ultrasound, dual energy Computed Tomography (DECT) and CT scan were compared to describe the tophi.ResultsA 66-year-old man with a 30-year history of gout was admitted. He had received urate-lowering drugs intermittently over the past few years. Physical examination revealed multiple tophi on the hands, feet, and other auricular surfaces. Moreover, there was a subcutaneous mass above the thyroid cartilage (Figure 1A). Ultrasound revealed hyperechoic nodule anterior to the thyroid cartilage, 11*7cm in size, with uneven internal echo, no blood flow signal inside, and a close relationship between the barrier of the nodule and the thyroid cartilage (Figure 1B). DECT of the neck confirmed that the mass anterior to the thyroid cartilage were tophi (Figure 1C-D). A plain radiographic evaluation demonstrated soft-tissue swellings and para-articular erosions involving hands (Figure 1E-F). The serum creatinine and uric acid levels were elevated as follows, creatinine, 562 μmol per liter (normal range, 31.8 to 116); and uric acid, 621 μmol per liter (normal range, 90 to 420).Figure 1.Tophi detected by different imaging methods. Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the long-term effects of botulinum toxin-A (BTX-A) nerve block on relaxation of spasticity in cerebral palsy. PATIENTS AND METHODS From June 2015 to December 2018, 52 children, aged 20-56 months, with spastic cerebral palsy were treated with BTX-A. The dose of BTX-A was selected based on the weight of the child and the modified Ashworth scale (MAS). The injection dose ranged from 45 IU to 150 IU (average 68.0±31.6 IIU). The muscle tone and motor functions of all children were evaluated before the block. The spasticity was measured using the MAS, and the motor function was measured using the Physician Rating Scale (PRS) and the gross motor function measure (GMFM). After two years, all children were re-evaluated. RESULTS No significant difference was observed between the trial and control groups in terms of age, weight, MAS, PRS, and GMFM measurements before the block (p>0.05). The PRS and GMFM improved significantly in both groups after two years (p<0.05). The PRS and GMFM in the trial group increased more significantly than those in the control group (p<0.05). CONCLUSIONS The BTX-A block showed a long-term positive effect. Rehabilitation training after the block could help children to improve their motor functions.

Abstract
BACKGROUND We examined how the results of genomic classifier (GC) or post-magnetic resonance imaging confirmatory biopsy (pMRI-CBx) influenced management strategy for men with an MRI considering active surveillance (AS). METHODS We reviewed the Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative registry for men with favorable-risk prostate cancer. Among men with an MRI after the diagnostic biopsy (n = 1162) a subset also had GC (n = 126) or pMRI-CBx (n = 309). Results of MRI, GC, and pMRI-CBx were deemed reassuring (RA) or non-reassuring (Non-RA). We assess the association of the combination of test results obtained with the selection of AS. Proportions were compared with the Fisher's exact test. Multivariable logistic regression models were fit for an association of test results with the selection of AS. RESULTS The results of pMRI-CBx tended to influence management decisions greater than that of GC, especially in situation where testing results were discordant with the MRI result. Fewer men with a RA MRI and non-RA pMRI-CBx where managed with AS compared with RA MRI alone (31% vs. 86%, p < 0.001). non-RA genomics did not seem to have the same influence on management as non-RA pMRI-CBx as a similar proportion of men with RA MRI and non-RA genomics were managed with AS compared with RA MRI alone (85% vs. 86%, p = 0.753). More men with non-RA MRI and RA pMRI-CBx were managed with AS compared with non-RA MRI alone (89% vs. 40%, p < 0.001). Alternatively, a similar proportion of men with non-RA MRI and RA genomics were managed with AS compared with non-RA MRI alone (42% vs. 40%, p > 0.999). In the multivariable models, pMRI-CBx results influenced the decision for AS versus treatment. CONCLUSIONS In men with newly diagnosed prostate cancer and an MRI, the additional information provided by pMRI-CBx influenced the decision of AS versus treatment, while the addition of GC results were less influential.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Updated information on the burden of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia are of great importance for evidence-based health care planning. However, such an estimate has been lacking in Chinese populations at both national and provincial levels. OBJECTIVE To estimate the temporal trends and the attributable burdens of selected risk factors of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia in China. DESIGN, SETTING, AND PARTICIPANTS This is an observational description of the Global Burden of Diseases Study 2019 (GBD 2019). Data on incidence, mortality, prevalence, disability-adjusted life years (DALYs), years lived with disability (YLDs), and years of life lost (YLLs) of Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia were derived from the GBD 2019 study at both national and provincial levels in China. MEASUREMENTS Six indicators were used: incidence, mortality, prevalence, DALYs, YLLs, and YLDs. Absolute numbers in detail by age, sex, region, and age-standardized rates (with 95% uncertainty intervals) were calculated. RESULTS There were notable increasing trends in the number of deaths (247·9%), incidence (264·8%), prevalence (296·5%), DALYs (228·1%), YLDs (308·7%) and YLLs (201·7%) from 1990 to 2019, respectively. The corresponding age-standardized rates increased by 6·2%, 19·3%, 33·6%, 10·7%, 33·4% and 3·1%. Smoking, high body mass index, high fasting plasma glucose levels, and metabolic risks were the four leading risk factors. Higher burden was observed among females versus males and in the more developed regions. CONCLUSIONS The disease burden in China were increasing substantially. Regional differences of the disease burden are accompanied by discrepancies of economic level and geographical location, as well as different levels of exposure to risk factors. Targeted prevention and control strategies are urgently needed to reduce the disease burden.

Abstract
A novel rotary cloth/paper hybrid microfluidic analytical device (μCPAD) was proposed via the synergy of the fluorescence sensing cloth-based component and rotary paper-based microfluidic analytical device (μPAD) for simultaneous detection of mercury (Hg2+) and lead (Pb2+) ions. Fluorescence sensing cloth-based component was prepared by grafting quantum dots onto cotton cloth and then modifying with ion imprinted polymers (IIP). Because the cloth has good ductility and durability, it can bear strong oscillation during the fabrication of grafting quantum dots and IIP, and brings a lot of convenience to the production process. At the same time, because rotary μCPAD was stacked by three-layer papers with designed hydrophilic channels and hydrophobic barriers, it could realize simultaneous detection of Hg2+ and Pb2+ ions by rotating top layer counterclockwise or clockwise. The fluorescence signals were obtained through quantum dots' electron transfer fluorescence quenching effect with the limits of detection were 0.18 and 0.07 μg/L, respectively. This method successfully realized the transference of specific and sensitive fluorescence sensing materials (quantum dots) onto the microfluidic device to improve the portability and expanded applications. Moreover, the novel microfluidic device may have great potential in point-of-care testing of heavy metal ions in environmental monitoring fields.

Abstract
Smoke generated during surgery affects tissue visibility and degrades image quality, affecting surgical decisions and limiting further image processing and analysis. Polarization is a fundamental property of light and polarization-resolved imaging has been studied and applied to general visibility restoration scenarios such as for smog or mist removal or in underwater environments. However, there is no related research or application for surgical smoke removal. Due to differences between surgical smoke and general haze scenarios, we propose an alternative imaging degradation model by redefining the form of the transmission parameters. The analysis of the propagation of polarized light interacting with the mixed medium of smoke and tissue is proposed to realize polarization-based smoke removal (visibility restoration). Theoretical analysis and observation of experimental data shows that the cross-polarized channel data generated by multiple scattering is less affected by smoke compared to the co-polarized channel. The polarization difference calculation for different color channels can estimate the model transmission parameters and reconstruct the image with restored visibility. Qualitative and quantitative comparison with alternative methods show that the polarization-based image smoke-removal method can effectively reduce the degradation of biomedical images caused by surgical smoke and partially restore the original degree of polarization of the samples.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Decipher Biopsy is a commercially available gene expression classifier used in risk stratification of newly diagnosed prostate cancer (PCa). Currently, there are no prospective data evaluating its clinical utility. We seek to assess the clinical utility of Decipher Biopsy in localized PCa patients. METHODS A multi-institutional study of 855 men who underwent Decipher Biopsy testing between February 2015 and October 2019. All patients were tracked through the prospective Michigan Urological Surgery Improvement Collaborative and linked to the Decipher Genomics Resource Information Database (GRID®; NCT02609269). Patient matching was performed by an independent third-party (ArborMetrix Inc.) using two or more unique identifiers. Cumulative incidence curves for time to treatment (TTT) and time to failure (TTF) were constructed using Kaplan-Meier estimates. Multivariable Cox proportional hazard models were used to evaluate the independent association of high-risk Decipher scores with the conversion from AS to radical therapy and treatment failure (biochemical failure or receipt of salvage therapy). RESULTS AND LIMITATIONS Eight hundred fifty-five patients underwent Decipher Biopsy testing during the study period. Of the 855 men, 264 proceeded to AS (31%), and 454 (53%) received radical therapy. In men electing AS, after adjusting for NCCN risk group, age, PSA, prostate volume, body mass index, and percent positive cores, a high-risk Decipher score was independently associated with shorter TTT (HR 2.51, 95% CI 1.52-4.13 p < 0.001). Similarly, in patients that underwent radical therapy, a high-risk Decipher score was independently associated with TTF (HR 2.98, 95% CI 1.22-7.29, p = 0.01) on multivariable analysis. Follow-up time was a limitation. CONCLUSION In a prospective statewide registry, high-risk Decipher Biopsy score was strongly and independently associated with conversion from AS to definitive treatment and treatment failure. These real-world data support the clinical utility of Decipher Biopsy. An ongoing phase 3 randomized trial (NCT04396808) will provide level 1 evidence of the clinical impact of Decipher biopsy testing.

Abstract
Diarylethene (DAE) photoswitch is a new and promising family of photochromic molecules and has shown superior performance as a smart trigger in stimulus-responsive materials. During the past few decades, the DAE family has achieved a leap from simple molecules to functional molecules and developed toward validity as a universal switching building block. In recent years, the introduction of DAE into an assembly system has been an attractive strategy that enables the photochromic behavior of the building blocks to be manifested at the level of the entire system, beyond the DAE unit itself. This assembly-based strategy will bring many unexpected results that promote the design and manufacture of a new generation of advanced materials. Here, recent advances in the design and fabrication of diarylethene as a trigger in materials science, chemistry, and biomedicine are reviewed.

Abstract
Some oral squamous cell carcinomas (OSCCs) originate from preexisting oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs). Oral leukoplakia (OLK) is the most common and typical OPMD in the clinic, so treatment for it is essential to reduce OSCC incidence. Local chemotherapy is an option other than surgery considering the superficial site of OLK. However, there are no standardized drugs applied to OLK, and traditionally used chemotherapeutic drugs revealed limited efficacy for lack of adhesion. Hence, there is a growing demand to prepare new agents that combine mucoadhesion with an anti-OLK effect. Here, an isoguanosine-tannic acid (isoG-TA) supramolecular hydrogel via dynamic borate esters was successfully fabricated based on isoG and TA. Previously reported guanosine-TA (G-TA) hydrogel was also explored for an anti-OLK effect. Both gels not only exhibited ideal adhesive properties but also integrated anti-OLK activities in one system. In vitro cell viability indicated that isoG and TA inhibited the proliferation of dysplastic oral keratinocytes (DOKs). The in vivo OLK model evidence revealed that both gels showed potential to prevent OLK canceration. In addition, the probable anti-DOK mechanisms of isoG and TA were investigated. The results indicated that isoG could bind to adenosine kinase (ADK) and then affected the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway to inhibit DOK proliferation. TA could significantly and continuously reduce reactive oxygen species (ROS) in DOKs through its antioxidant effect. ROS plays an important role in the progression of cell cycle. We proved that the low level of ROS may inhibit DOK proliferation by inducing G0/G1 arrest in the cell cycle. Altogether, this study innovatively fabricated an isoG-TA hydrogel with ideal adhesion, and both isoG and TA showed in vitro inhibition of DOKs. Moreover, both isoG-TA and G-TA hydrogels possessed potential in delaying the malignant transformation of OLK, and the G-TA hydrogel showed a better statistical effect, providing an effective strategy for controlling OLK.

Abstract
The purpose is to help college students start their own businesses and protect and develop China's intangible cultural heritage. The entrepreneurship of college students in the field of intangible culture is studied from the perspective of entrepreneurial psychology. First, the related characteristics, main content, and research status of college entrepreneurship education are described in detail. Entrepreneurial psychology is divided into entrepreneurial cognition, entrepreneurial emotion and entrepreneurial will. Then, the concept and development status of intangible cultural heritage are briefly summarized to illustrate the importance of inheriting and developing intangible cultural heritage. A questionnaire is designed based on intangible cultural heritage development mode to interview local college students randomly. Finally, the results are analyzed by descriptive statistics. The results show that massive students do not understand the entrepreneurial policy, and only 16% of them know it very well. More than 30% of the students think that entrepreneurship will improve personal responsibility. Nearly 50% of the students believe that entrepreneurship can increase their life experience. Almost 50% of the students have the psychological quality of persistence and courage in entrepreneurship. The final results show that there are great differences in entrepreneurial cognition among students of different grades. Regarding entrepreneurial emotion, there are obvious differences among students of different genders, disciplines, and grades. Regarding the entrepreneurial will, there are only differences among students with different grades. In entrepreneurship education, different teaching methods should be adopted for different ages to comprehensively improve the effect of entrepreneurship education for students of all grades and help them obtain good entrepreneurship results. This exploration provides technical support for the inheritance of material and cultural inheritance and contributes to the entrepreneurship education of college students.

Abstract
Ti-6Al-4V has been used as a surgical implant material for a long time because of its combination of strength, corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. However, there remains much that is not understood about how the surface reacts with the environment under tribocorrosion conditions. In particular, the conditions under which tribofilms form and their role on friction and wear are not clear. To evaluate the complicated nature of the dynamic surface microstructural changes on the wear track, high resolution transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning transmission electron microscope (STEM) and electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) have been used to characterise the structure and chemical composition of the tribofilm. Detailed analysis of the formation and structure of the tribofilm and the metal surface deformation behaviour were studied as a function of applied potential and the role of proteins in the lubricant. For the first time, graphitic and onion-like carbon structures from wear debris were found in the testing solution. The presence of carbon nanostructures in the tribocorrosion process and the formation of the tribofilm leads to an improved tribocorrosion behaviour of the system, in particular a reduction in wear and friction. A detailed, quantitative, analysis of surface deformation was undertaken, in particular, the geometrically necessary dislocation (GND) density was quantified using precession electron diffraction (PET). A clear correlation between applied potential, tribofilm formation and the surface strain was established. STATEMENT OF SIGNIFICANCE: The formation of tribofilm and microstructure modification of the Ti-6Al-4V surface during tribocorrosion in a physiological environment is not fully understood. In particular, the correlation between microstructural changes and electrochemical conditions is not clear. This study presents a detailed investigation of the structure and chemical composition of tribofilms at the nanoscale during tribocorrosion tests in simulated body fluid and gives a detailed and quantitative description of the evolved surface structure. A clear correlation between applied potential, tribofilm formation and the surface strain was established. Moreover, particular attention is paid to the wear debris particles captured from the lubricating solution, including nanocarbon onion structures. The implications for tribocorrosion of the alloy in its performance as an implant are discussed.

3,3-Disubstituted oxetanes have been utilized as bioisosteres for gem-dimethyl and cyclobutane functionalities. We report the discovery of a novel class of oxetane indole-amine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO1) inhibitors suitable for Q3W (once every 3 weeks) oral and parenteral dosing. A diamide class of IDO inhibitors was discovered through an automated ligand identification system (ALIS). Installation of an oxetane and fluorophenyl dramatically improved the potency. Identification of a biaryl moiety as an unconventional amide isostere addressed the metabolic liability of amide hydrolysis. Metabolism identification (Met-ID)-guided target design and the introduction of polarity resulted in the discovery of potent IDO inhibitors with excellent pharmacokinetic (PK) profiles in multiple species. To enable rapid synthesis of the key oxetane intermediate, a novel oxetane ring cyclization was also developed, as well as optimization of a literature route on kg scale. These IDO inhibitors may enable unambiguous proof-of-concept testing for the IDO1 inhibition mechanism for oncology.

Abstract
In recent years, China's local governments have issued numerous bonds to support the country's economic development. However, as total debt accumulates, the pressure on debt repayments is gradually increasing. To increase the sustainability of local government debt, we propose a multi-period stochastic optimization-based approach to determining the portfolio composition of issued bonds, with the goal of minimizing the expected cost under the constraints of liquidity risk and cost deviation risk. Liquidity risk is measured by conditional payment-at-risk ( CPaR ), and cost deviation risk is measured by conditional value-at-risk ( CVaR ). By bounding CVaR and CPaR , local governments can control the levels of cost deviation risk and liquidity risk. To alleviate future liquidity risk, which is caused by the issuance of a large number of long-term bonds to deliberately reduce repayment pressure within a debt planning horizon, we consider an extended liquidity planning horizon to manage both current and future liquidity risk. Based on this, we analyze the efficient frontier and portfolio compositions of issued bond under the constraints of different CVaR and CPaR levels. Compared with actual Chinese local government bond portfolios, the efficient frontier performs better for different issuance strategies.
