Abstract
Objective: To investigate the characteristics of regional homogeneity (ReHo) of the resting-state magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) in first-episode childhood and adolescence-onset schizophrenia (CAOS) and to analyze the relationship between the severity of auditory hallucinations and ReHo. Methods: Seventy-nine cases of first-episode CAOS patients (case group) aged 10 to 16 were collected from October 2017 to December 2019 in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Xinxiang Medical University. There were 28 males and 51 females with a mean age of (14.1±1.3) years. And meantime, 32 healthy children matched with the patients in baseline data were selected as healthy controls (HCs). The patients with CAOS were divided into three groups according to the auditory verbal hallucinations (AVH) assessment of positive symptoms scale (SAPS): non-AVH group (0-1 point), 20 cases; mild-to-moderate AVH group (2-3 points), 36 cases; severe AVH group (4-5 points), 23 cases. The severity of psychiatric symptoms was evaluated using the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS). ReHo analysis was performed on the resting state fMRI scan data of all subjects. Covariance analysis (ages was used as a covariate) was performed between the case group and the HCs, and the three case groups were analyzed to find the different brain areas. Finally, covariance analysis (ages as a covariate) was performed on ReHo values between the case group and the HCs, and among the three groups of patients. Correlation analysis was conducted between the ReHo values in different brain regions and PANSS scores, as well as AVH scores. Results: Compared with the HCs, the decreased ReHo of patients were mainly located in the left superior frontal gyrus, right superior temporal gyrus, left central anterior gyrus, and right central anterior gyrus (all P<0.05). Besides, the ReHo deficits were in the right superior temporal gyrus, left middle frontal gyrus, precuneus lobe, and left central anterior gyrus among the three groups (all P<0.05). Moreover, the severe-AVH group showed decreased ReHo values in precuneus lobe compared with the non-AVH group (P<0.05), and showed decreased ReHo values in left middle frontal gyrus and left central anterior gyrus compared with the mild-to-moderate AVH group (both P<0.05). Furthermore, the ReHo in the right superior temporal gyrus and the left anterior central gyrus were negatively correlated with the AVH score (rs=-0.34, -0.32, P<0.05); and the positive symptom score was negatively correlated with the ReHo in the right superior temporal lobe (r=-0.23, P<0.05). Conclusion: Firstly, decreased ReHo is found in multiple brain regions in CAOS. Secondly, the occurrence of auditory hallucinations may be related to the abnormal activity of local neurons in the resting state. Consequently, Abnormal brain function may be the underlying neural basis for the first-episode CAOS.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Factors predicting peripheral blood total HIV-1 DNA size in chronically infected patients with successfully suppressed viremia remain unclear. Prognostic power of such factors are of clinical significance for making clinical decisions. METHODS Two sets of study populations were included: 490 China AIDS Clinical Trial (CACT) participants (Training cohort, followed up for 144 to 288 weeks) and 117 outpatients from Peking Union Medical College Hospital (PUMCH) (Validation cohort, followed up for more than 96 weeks). All patients were chronically HIV-1-infected and achieved successful HIV-1 plasma RNA suppression within week 48. Total HIV-1 DNA in blood at baseline, 12, 24, 48, 96, 144 and 288 weeks after combined antiretroviral therapy (cART) initiation were quantified. Generalized estimating equations and logistic regression methods were used to derive and validate a predictive model of total HIV-1 DNA after 96 weeks of cART. RESULTS The total HIV-1 DNA rapidly decreased from baseline [median = 3.00 log10 copies/106 peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs)] to week 24 (median = 2.55 log10 copies/106 PBMCs), and leveled off afterwards. Of the 490 patients who had successful HIV-1 plasma RNA suppression by 96 w post-cART, 92 (18.8%) had a low total HIV-1 DNA count (< 100 copies/106 PBMCs) at week 96. In the predictive model, lower baseline total HIV-1 DNA [risk ratio (RR) = 0.08, per 1 log10 copies/106 PBMCs, P < 0.001] and higher baseline CD4+ T cell count (RR = 1.72, per 100 cells/μL, P < 0.001) were significantly associated with a low total HIV-1 DNA count at week 96. In an independent cohort of 117 patients, this model achieved a sensitivity of 75.00% and specificity of 69.52%. CONCLUSIONS Baseline total HIV-1 DNA and CD4+ T cell count are two independent predictors of total HIV-1 DNA after treatment. The derived model based on these two baseline factors provides a useful prognostic tool in predicting HIV-1 DNA reservoir control during cART.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Studies in developed countries have reported that the prevalence of asthma and rhinitis is higher in urban areas than in rural areas, and this phenomenon is associated with urbanization and changing indoor microbiome exposure. Developing countries such as China have experienced rapid urbanization in past years, but no study has investigated microbiome exposure and urban-rural health effects in these countries. METHODS Nine high schools from urban and rural areas were randomly selected in Shanxi Province, China, and classroom vacuum dust was collected for shotgun metagenomic sequencing. A self-administered questionnaire was collected from 1332 students for personal information and health data. Three-level logistic regression was performed between microbial richness/abundance/functional pathways and the occurrence of asthma and rhinitis symptoms. RESULTS Consistent with developed countries, the prevalence of wheeze and rhinitis was higher in urban areas than in rural areas (p < 0.05). Metagenomic profiling revealed 8302 bacterial, 395 archaeal, 744 fungal, 524 protist and 1103 viral species in classroom dust. Actinobacteria (mean relative abundance 49.7%), Gammaproteobacteria (18.4%) and Alphaproteobacteria (10.0%) were the most abundant bacterial classes. The overall microbiome composition was significantly different between urban and rural schools (p = 0.001, Adonis). Species from Betaproteobactera, Gammaproteobacteria and Bacilli were enriched in urban schools, and species from Actinobacteria and Cyanobacteria were enriched in rural schools. Potential pathogens were present in higher abundance in urban schools than in rural schools (p < 0.05). Pseudoalteromonas, Neospora caninum and Microbacterium foliorum were positively associated with the occurrence of wheeze, rhinitis and rhinoconjunctivitis, and Brachybacterium was protectively (negatively) associated with rhinitis (p < 0.01). The abundance of human endocrine and metabolic disease pathways was positively associated with rhinitis (p = 0.008), and butyrate and propionate metabolic genes and pathways were significantly enriched in rural schools (p < 0.005), in line with previous findings that these short-chain fatty acids protect against inflammatory diseases in the human gut. CONCLUSIONS We conducted the first indoor microbiome survey in urban/rural environments with shotgun metagenomics, and the results revealed high-resolution microbial taxonomic and functional profiling and potential health effects. Abstract
BACKGROUND Some long-term non-progressors (LTNPs) have decreasing CD4+ T cell counts and progress to AIDS. Exploring which subsets of CD4+ T cell decreasing and the determinants associated with the decay in these patients will improve disease progression surveillance and provide further understanding of HIV pathogenesis. METHODS Twenty-five LTNPs infected with HIV by blood products were classified as decreased (DG) if their CD4+ cell count dropped to < 400 cells/μL during follow-up or as non-decreased (non-DG) if their CD4+ cell count was ≥400 cells/μL. Laboratory and clinical assessments were conducted at 6 consecutive visits to identify DG characteristics. RESULTS The LTNPs were infected with HIV for 12 (IQR: 11.5-14) years, and 23 were classified as the B' subtype. Six individuals lost LTNP status 14.5 (IQR: 12.5-17.5) years after infection (DG), and the CD4+ T cell count decreased to 237 (IQR: 213-320) cells/μL at the latest visit. The naïve CD4+ T cell count decrease was greater than that of memory CD4+ T cells [- 128 (IQR: - 196, - 107) vs - 64 (IQR: - 182, - 25) cells/μL)]. Nineteen individuals retained LTNP status (non-DG). At enrolment, the viral load (VL) level (p = 0.03) and CD8+CD38+ percentage (p = 0.03) were higher in DG than non-DG individuals. During follow-up, viral load and CD8+CD38+ percentage were significantly increased and negatively associated with CD4+ cell count [(r = - 0.529, p = 0.008), (r = - 0.476, p = 0.019), respectively]. However, the CD8+CD28+ percentage and B cell count dropped in DG and were positively correlated with CD4+ T cell count [(r = 0.448, p = 0.028), (r = 0.785, p < 0.001)]. CONCLUSION Immunological progression was mainly characterized by the decrease of naïve CD4+ T cell in LTNPs infected with HIV by blood products and it may be associated with high HIV RNA levels.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the sepsis related long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) and mRNA expression profiles based on Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) datasets and bioinformatic analysis, and to analyze the sepsis-associated competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network based on microRNA (miRNA) database. METHODS The sepsis-related lncRNA dataset was downloaded from the GEO database, and the differential expression analysis was conducted by Bioconductor on the sepsis dataset to obtain differentially expressed lncRNA (DElncRNA) and differentially expressed mRNA (DEmRNA), and cluster heat map was drawn. miRNA combined with DElncRNA were predicted by miRcode. mRNA targeted by miRNA was simultaneously met by three databases: TargetScan, miRDB, and mirTarBase. The interaction relationship of lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA was obtained. The regulatory network visualization software CytoScape was used to draw ceRNA networks. DEmRNA in the ceRNA networks were imported into the Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes Database (STRING) online database to draw the protein-protein interaction (PPI) map. The gene ontology (GO) function annotation and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis of DEmRNA were performed. RESULTS Dataset GSE89376 and GSE145227 were found from GEO database. Difference analysis showed there were 14 DElncRNA and 359 DEmRNA in the elderly group of GSE89376; 8 DElncRNA and 153 DEmRNA in the adult group of GSE89376; 1 232 DElncRNA and 1 224 DEmRNA in the children group of GSE145227. Clustering heatmap showed that there were significant differences in the expression of lncRNA and mRNA between the sepsis group and the control group. The ceRNA networks were constructed with miRNA. Several DElncRNA and multiple DEmRNA participated in the ceRNA network of sepsis. The PPI diagram demonstrated that several genes encoding proteins interacted with each other and form a multi-node interaction network with multiple genes encoding proteins. Functional annotation and enrichment analysis demonstrated that there might be a crosstalk mechanism on functionally related genes such as nuclear receptor activity, ligand-activated transcription factor activity, and steroid hormone receptor activity, and played a role in the occurrence and development of diseases through forkhead box transcription factor O (FoxO) signaling pathway, Janus kinase/signal transducers and activators of transcription (JAK/STAT) signaling pathway, p53 signaling pathway, and phosphateidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/Akt signaling pathway. CONCLUSIONS Through sepsis-related lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA ceRNA network and combining with KEGG pathway analysis, there were several lncRNA and mRNA participating in the ceRNA network related sepsis, which played an important role in several signal pathways.

Abstract
B cell response plays a critical role against SARS-CoV-2 infection. However, little is known about the diversity and frequency of the paired SARS-CoV-2 antigen-specific BCR repertoire after SARS-CoV-2 infection. Here, we performed single-cell RNA sequencing and VDJ sequencing using the memory and plasma B cells isolated from five convalescent COVID-19 patients, and analyzed the spectrum and transcriptional heterogeneity of antibody immune responses. Via linking BCR to antigen specificity through sequencing (LIBRA-seq), we identified a distinct activated memory B cell subgroup (CD11chigh CD95high) had a higher proportion of SARS-CoV-2 antigen-labeled cells compared with memory B cells. Our results revealed the diversity of paired BCR repertoire and the non-stochastic pairing of SARS-CoV-2 antigen-specific immunoglobulin heavy and light chains after SARS-CoV-2 infection. The public antibody clonotypes were shared by distinct convalescent individuals. Moreover, several antibodies isolated by LIBRA-seq showed high binding affinity against SARS-CoV-2 receptor-binding domain (RBD) or nucleoprotein (NP) via ELISA assay. Two RBD-reactive antibodies C14646P3S and C2767P3S isolated by LIBRA-seq exhibited high neutralizing activities against both pseudotyped and authentic SARS-CoV-2 viruses in vitro. Our study provides fundamental insights into B cell response following SARS-CoV-2 infection at the single-cell level.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the value of chromosomes 7 and 8 polysomy in circulating tumor cells (CTCs) for the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer, and the correlation of CTCs with clinical pathological characteristics and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations in cancer tissue. Methods: Fifty-seven patients with non-small cell lung cancer and 21 patients with benign lung diseases were enrolled at Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Capital Medical University, Beijing, China from November 2017 to October 2020. Negative enrichment combined with immunofluorescence in situ hybridization (imFISH) was used to identify CTCs polysomy on chromosomes 7 and 8. EGFR mutations in 56 lung cancer patients was detected using ARMS-PCR. Results: CTCs were detected in 93.0% (53/57) of non-small cell lung cancers and 28.6% (6/21) benign lung lesions. The difference between lung cancer patients and the control cohort was statistically significant (P<0.01). Receive operator curve (ROC) analyses showed that, when the cut-off value was 1 cell/3.2 mL, Youden index had the highest sensitivity of 93.0% and specificity of 71.4% (AUC=0.906, 95%CI:0.833-0.980, P<0.01). The positive rate of CTCs in stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ cancers was significantly higher than that in stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ (P=0.023). No significant correlation was observed between positive rate of CTCs or chromosome polysomy and age, gender, smoking status, pathologic types and EGFR mutation status. The number of CTCs in EGFR mutated group was higher than that in the non-mutated group (6.5±1.1 vs. 3.7±0.7, P=0.045). The detection rate for CTCs ≥5 in the EGFR mutated group was also higher than the EGFR non-mutated group (52.0% vs. 19.4%,P=0.010). Conclusion: Detection of CTCs with chromosomes 7 and 8 polysomy has potential value in auxiliary diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer, and the number of CTCs is correlated to TNM stage and EGFR gene mutation status.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To understand the morbidity due to Schistosoma japonicum in national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of China from 2015 to 2019, so as to provide insights into schistosomiasis control and elimination and provide the scientific evidence for formulating the new scheme for schistosomiasis surveillance in China. METHODS According to the requirements of National Scheme for Schistosomiasis Surveillance in China (2014 Edition), national schistosomiasis surveillance sites were assigned in all schistosomiasis-endemic counties (cities, districts) and the potential endemic counties (cities, districts) in the Three Gorges Reservoir areas, and S. japonicum infections were monitored in local residents, mobile populations and livestock according to different epidemic types. The sero-prevalence of S. japonicum infections, adjusted prevalence of human S. japonicum infections, characteristics of egg-positive individuals and prevalence of S. japonicum infections livestock were analyzed. RESULTS S. japonicum infections were monitored in 453 schistosomiasis-endemic counties (cities, districts) from 13 provinces (municipalities, autonomous regions) and 4 potential endemic counties (cities, districts) from the Three Gorges Reservoir areas in China from 2015 to 2019. During the 5-year period from 2015 to 2019, the sero-prevalence of S. japonicum infections reduced from 3.35% to 1.63% among local residents and from 1.15% to 0.75% among mobile populations, while the adjusted prevalence of infections reduced from 0.05% to 0 among local residents and from 0.20% to 0.001 03% among mobile populations. There were significant differences in the sero-prevalence of S. japonicum infections among local residents and mobile populations in terms of province, occupation and age (all P values < 0.05). A total of 132 egg-positives were identified during the 5-year period, including 97 local residents (inter-quartile range for ages, 47 to 61 years), and 35 mobile populations (inter-quartile range for ages, 26 to 48 years), and there was a significant difference in the age distribution between local residents and mobile populations (P < 0.05). There were totally 6 bovines (5 in 2015 and 1 in 2016) identified with S. japonicum infections in national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of China, with no S. japonicum infections detected in bovines from 2017 to 2019. CONCLUSIONS The prevalence of schistosomiasis is very low in China. Further surveillance including more mobile surveillance sites seems justified to identify the risk of schistosomiasis as soon as possible and interrupt the transmission route, so as to facilitate the elimination of schistosomiasis in China.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze the monitoring data of Oncomelania hupensis in the national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of China from 2015 to 2019, so as to understand the changes of Oncomelania snail status in the schistosomiasis-endemic areas of China and to provide the scientific evidence for Oncomelania snail control. METHODS According to the requirements of National Scheme for Schistosomiasis Surveillance in China (2014 Edition), national schistosomiasis surveillance sites were assigned in all schistosomiasis-endemic counties (cities, districts) and the potential endemic counties (cities, districts) in the Three Gorges Reservoir areas, and Oncomelania snail status was monitored according to different epidemic types. In endemic areas, Oncomelania snail survey was performed by means of systematic sampling and environmental sampling, and the occurrence of frames with Oncomelania snails and the prevalence of Schistosoma japonicum infections in Oncomelania snails were calculated, while in potential endemic areas, the risk of imported Oncomelania snails and Oncomelania snails in floating debris were monitored. RESULTS Oncomelania snail survey was performed covering an area of 116 834.16 hm2 in the national schistosomiasis surveillance of China from 2015 to 2019, with 35 007.62 hm2 Oncomelania snail habitats identified. A total of 6 908 292 frames were surveyed during the 5-year period, and there were 364 555 frames detected with Oncomelania snails, with a 5.28% mean occurrence of frames with Oncomelania snails. Among 997 508 living Oncomelania snails captured, no S. japonicum infections were detected, and loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay detected 18 positive mixed Oncomelania snail samples. During the period from 2015 to 2019, 147.20 hm2 emerging Oncomelania snail habitats were identified, with an overall tendency towards a rise seen in the proportion of emerging Oncomelania snail habitats in plain regions with waterway networks (0.12% to 92.00%), a tendency towards a rise followed by decline seen in marshland and lake regions (0 to 96.72%), and a large fluctuation in hilly regions (0 to 88.49%). A total of 831.10 hm2 re-emerging Oncomelania snail habitats were found in the national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of China from 2015 to 2019, with an overall tendency towards a rise seen in the proportion of re-emerging Oncomelania snail habitats in marshland and lake regions (16.05% to 79.66%), an overall tendency towards a decline seen in hilly regions (19.25% to 81.00%), and a minor fluctuation in plain regions with waterway networks (1.10% to 10.14%). During the 5-year period from 2015 to 2019, a total of 48 656 kg floating debris were captured in 4 surveillance sites in the Three Gorges Reservoir areas, and 2 204 snails were found, with no Oncomelania snails identified. CONCLUSIONS The areas of Oncomelania snail habitats tended to be stable in the national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of China during the period from 2015 to 2019, however, there was a gradual rise in the area of Oncomelania snail habitats year by year, and LAMP assay identified positive Oncomelania snail samples, suggesting Oncomelania snail control is far from optimistic in China.

Abstract
The [FeII (C6 F5 Tp)2 ] spin-crossover complex is an atypical molecular switch, which can be converted upon annealing between two archetypal spin-crossover behaviours: from an extremely gradual spin-crossover to a broad hysteretic spin-transition (of ca. 65 K). The hysteresis shows an uncommon "rounded shape" that is reproducible upon cycling temperature. In depth structural studies reveal a first crystal phase transition, which occurs upon melting and recrystallizing at high temperature. This first irreversible transition is associated with a radical change in the crystal packing. More importantly, the "rounded and broad" hysteretic transition is shown to occur in a non-cooperative SCO system and is associated with the occurrence of a symmetry-breaking phase transition that appears when roughly ca. 50 % of the SCO complexes are switched.

Abstract
Given that spermidine is associated with aging-related diseases and it is a potential target for delaying aging, functional studies on supraphysiological levels of spermidine are required. Our previous studies showed that the granulosa layer arranged irregular and the follicular oocytes were shrunk in female mice injected intraperitoneally with spermidine at 150 mg/kg (Body weight) after 24 h. It indicated that supraphysiological levels of spermidine induced ovarian damage in female mice. The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of acute administration of supraphysiological spermidine on the ovary and granulosa cells in mice. The results showed that treatment with spermidine at 150 mg/kg (intraperitoneal) significantly increased the levels of both H2O2 and malondialdehyde and reduced total antioxidant capacity and the activities of catalase and superoxide dismutase in mouse ovaries. The contents of putrescine and spermine increased significantly in the ovaries of mice treated with spermidine. Treatment with spermidine at 150 mg/kg increased the apoptotic rate and reactive oxygen species levels of granulosa cells in mouse ovaries. Furthermore, the protein expression of P53, CASPASE 8 (Cleaved/Pro), CASPASE 9 (Cleaved/Pro) and CASPASE 3 (Cleaved/Pro) in granulosa cells of mice treated with spermidine were significantly upregulated, while BCL2 expression was significantly downregulated. In summary, our study demonstrates for the first time that spermidine at supraphysiological doses causes ovarian oxidative stress and induces granulosa cell apoptosis via the P53 and/or BCL2-CASPASEs pathway.

Abstract
Since 2015 when the transmission of schistosomiasis was controlled in China, the country has been moving towards elimination of schistosomiasis, with the surveillance-response as the main interventions for schistosomiasis control. During the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan, the transmission of schistosomiasis had been interrupted in four provinces of Sichuan, Jiangsu, Yunnan and Hubei and the prevalence of schistosomiasis has been at the historically lowest level in China. As a consequence, the goal set in The 13th Five-Year National Schistosomiasis Control Program in China is almost achieved. However, there are multiple challenges during the stage moving towards elimination of schistosomiasis in China, including the widespread distribution of intermediate host snails and complicated snail habitats, many types of sources of Schistosoma japonicum infections and difficulty in management of bovines and sheep, unmet requirements for the current schistosomiasis control program with the currently available tools, and vulnerable control achievements. During the 14th Five-Year period, it is crucial to consolidate the schistosomiasis control achievements and gradually solve the above difficulties, and critical to provide the basis for achieving the ultimate goal of elimination of schistosomiasis in China. Based on the past experiences from the national schistosomiasis control program and the challenges for schistosomiasis elimination in China, an expert consensus has been reached pertaining to the objectives, control strategy and measures for The 14th Five-Year National Schistosomiasis Control Program in China, so as to provide insights in to the development of The 14th Five-Year National Schistosomiasis Control Program in China.

Abstract
The teaching resource bank is very important for the education of linguistics. In the construction of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, we should first build a teaching resource library. Only in this way can we meet the requirements of the Ministry of education and achieve better teaching objectives. The purpose of the construction of teaching resources database is to make the teaching resources can be systematically and scientifically planned, stored in the computer in the form of data, and can be directly extracted from the computer when necessary, so as to realize the efficient utilization of resources. Based on the existing problems of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the construction of teaching resource database. In recent years, the rise of artificial intelligence technology provides a new idea for the establishment of teaching resource database. According to the basic idea of artificial intelligence, scientists have established a new database of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, updated and improved the original database, and established a new standard for teaching database according to the characteristics of artificial intelligence technology. A teaching resource database system based on teaching resources and artificial intelligence is established. The system is divided into data layer, logic layer and presentation layer. Artificial intelligence is used as a bridge connecting different parts. In the process of establishing the multimedia database of TCFL, we should develop in all aspects, and pave the way for the future research after laying a solid foundation of data.

Abstract
Increasing evidence from the home environment indicates that indoor microbiome exposure is associated with asthma development. However, indoor microbiome composition can be highly diverse and dynamic, and thus current studies fail to produce consistent results. Chinese university dormitories are special high-density dwellings with similar building and occupants characteristics, which facilitate to disentangle the complex interactions between microbes, environmental characteristics and asthma. Settled air dust and floor dust was collected from 87 dormitory rooms in Shanxi University. Bacterial communities were characterized by 16 S rRNA amplicon sequencing. Students (n = 357) were surveyed for asthma symptoms and measured for fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO). Asthma was not associated with the overall bacterial richness but associated with specific phylogenetic classes. Taxa richness and abundance in Clostridia, including Ruminococcus, Blautia, Clostridium and Subdoligranulum, were positively associated with asthma (p < 0.05), and these taxa were mainly derived from the human gut. Taxa richness in Alphaproteobacteria and Actinobacteria were marginally protectively associated with asthma, and these taxa were mainly derived from the outdoor environment. Bacterial richness and abundance were not associated with FeNO levels. Building age was associated with overall bacterial community variation in air and floor dust (p < 0.05), but not associated with the asthma-related microorganisms. Our data shows that taxa from different phylogenetic classes and derived habitats have different health effects, indicating the importance of incorporating phylogenetic and ecological concepts in revealing patterns in the microbiome asthma association analysis.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the correlation between patatin-like phospholipase domain-containing 3 (PNPLA3) rs738409 and transmembrane 6 superfamily member 2 (TM6SF2) rs58542926 gene polymorphisms and the incidence of primary liver cancer in the Han population of China's Northeast region. Methods: A case-control study was used to enroll 521 patients with primary liver cancer as the case group and 164 healthy people as the control group. The case group was divided into groups with and without liver cirrhosis according to etiology. The polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method was used to detect the genetic polymorphisms of PNPLA3 rs738409 and TM6SF2 rs58542926, respectively. Results: Compared with the control group, the frequency distribution of PNPLA3 rs738409 G allele in the case group was significantly different (OR = 1.583, P = 0.001). Further grouping showed that there was no statistically significant difference between the control and hepatitis C-related liver cancer group (P = 0.161), but there were significant differences in other groups (P < 0.05). Compared with the control group, the frequency of TM6SF2 rs58542926 T allele in the case group was significantly higher than that in the control group (OR = 1.759, P = 0.048). After grouping, the frequency of CT/TT genotype in the liver cancer group combined with liver cirrhosis and the T allele frequency in the alcohol-related liver cancer group had statistically significant difference (P = 0.045 and 0.032, respectively) when compared with control group. The patients were divided into CG/GG group and CC group, and CT/TT group and CC group according to whether they carried PNPLA3 rs738409 G allele, and TM6SF2 rs58542926 T allele. Results showed that there were no statistically significant differences in liver enzyme indexes, albumin (ALB), total bilirubin (TBIL), alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) and fasting blood glucose between CG/GG group and CC group, and CT/TT group and CC group. The patients with liver cirrhosis in the case group were divided into≥7 groups and < 7 groups according to the Child-Pugh score. Results showed that there were no statistically significant difference in the Child-Pugh score between PNPLA3 rs738409 CG/GG group and CC group patients and TM6SF2 rs58542926 CT/TT group and CC group patients (P > 0.05). Conclusion: PNPLA3 rs738409 and TM6SF2 rs58542926 gene polymorphisms are correlated with the occurrence of primary liver cancer in the Han population of China's Northeast region. PNPLA3 rs738409 and TM6SF2 rs58542926 gene polymorphisms have no effect on indexes' such as liver enzymes, ALB, TBIL, AFP and FBS in primary liver cancer..

Abstract
Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers. Although the present molecular classification improves the treatment effect and prognosis of breast cancer, the heterogeneity of the molecular subtype remains very complex, and the applicability and effectiveness of treatment methods are still limited leading to poorer patient prognosis than expected. Further identification of more refined molecular typing based on gene expression profile will yield better understanding of the heterogeneity, improving treatment effects and prolonging prognosis of patients. Here, we downloaded the mRNA expression profiles and corresponding clinical data of patients with breast cancer from public databases and performed typical molecular typing using PAM50 (Prediction Analysis of Microarray 50) method. Comparative analyses were performed to screen the common and specific differentially expressed genes (DEGs) between cancer and corresponding para-cancerous tissues in each breast cancer subtype. The GO and KEGG analyses of the DEGs were performed to enrich the common and specific functional progress and signaling pathway involved in breast cancer subtypes. A total of 38 key common and specific DEGs were identified and selected based on the validated results, GO/KEGG enrichments, and the priority of expression, including four common DEGs and 34 specific DEGs in different subtypes. The prognostic value of these key common and specific DEGs was further analyzed to obtain useful potential markers in clinic. Finally, the potential roles and the specific prognostic values of the common and specific DEGs were speculated and summarized in total breast cancer and different subtype breast cancer based on the results of these analyses. The findings of our study provide the basis of more refined molecular typing of breast cancer, potential new therapeutic targets and prognostic markers for different breast cancer subtypes

Abstract
Limestone shows great potential to reduce the production of cadmium (Cd)-contaminated rice in acidic paddy soils, but has generated uncertainty effects. We conducted batch sorption and greenhouse experiments to investigate optimal conditions of pH and amorphous manganese content (Mnox) in limestone treated-soil for suppressing the Cd uptake by rice plants. The adsorption/desorption behavior of Cd in a soil/limestone mixture was dominated by the composition and density of sorption sites, followed by sorption conditions, which were mainly influenced by soil pH and exchangeable Ca2+. Interactions among soil factors were influenced both by the limestone effects and plant responses. The Cd uptake of rice plants did not matched to the doses of limestone applied. The increase in pH and decrease in Mnox following higher dosages of limestone treatment might produce contradictory effects on rice Cd uptake. We proposed a trade-off model to demonstrate how did the interactions of soil pH and Mnox affect the rice Cd uptake. To minimize the accumulation of Cd in rice grain harvested from acidic paddy soils, limestone was applied at 0.25 % to achieve an optimal pH of 6.5 and a Mnox of 95 mg kg-1.

Abstract
Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a range of neurodevelopmental disorders with behavioral and cognitive impairment and brings huge burdens to the patients' families and the society. To accurately identify patients with ASD from typical controls is important for early detection and early intervention. However, almost all the current existing classification methods for ASD based on structural MRI (sMRI) mainly utilize the independent local morphological features and do not consider the covariance patterns of these features between regions. In this study, by combining the convolutional neural network (CNN) and individual structural covariance network, we proposed a new framework to classify ASD patients with sMRI data from the ABIDE consortium. Moreover, gradient-weighted class activation mapping (Grad-CAM) was applied to characterize the weight of features contributing to the classification. The experimental results showed that our proposed method outperforms the currently used methods for classifying ASD patients with the ABIDE data and achieves a high classification accuracy of 71.8% across different sites. Furthermore, the discriminative features were found to be mainly located in the prefrontal cortex and cerebellum, which may be the early biomarkers for the diagnosis of ASD. Our study demonstrated that CNN is an effective tool to build the framework for the diagnosis of ASD with individual structural covariance brain network.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The plasma concentration of patients treated with efavirenz (EFV) 600 mg was found to exceed the upper limit of the proposed therapeutic window in most Chinese HIV-infected individuals; thus, dosage reduction of EFV to 400 mg daily warranted consideration. This study aimed to assess the pharmacodynamics of EFV 400 mg for HIV-1-infected patients in China. METHOD Twenty cART-naïve individuals were enrolled in this study. EFV 400 mg combined with tenofovir (TDF) and lamivudine (3TC) as an initial antiretroviral regimen was administered for 48 weeks. EFV concentration and T cell subsets as well as HIV RNA load were evaluated at baseline and at 4, 12, 24, and 48 weeks. Moreover, neuropsychiatric adverse effects were also assessed by the Hamilton depression (HAMD) scale and Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI). RESULTS Eighteen males and two females whose median age was 26 (interquartile range [IQR]: 23-32) years completed 48 weeks of follow-up. The median EFV concentrations were 1.88 (IQR: 1.54-2.42), 1.74 (IQR: 1.36-1.93), 1.93 (IQR: 1.66-2.22), and 1.85 (IQR: 1.54-2.14) mg/L at weeks 4, 12, 24, and 48, respectively. The viral load was 4.59 (IQR: 4.10-5.19) log10 copies/mL at baseline, and it decreased by 4.6 (IQR: 3.98-5.18) log10 copies/mL from baseline to week 48. Three of 20 (15%), 10 of 20 (50.0%), 17 of 20 (85%), and 18 of 19 (95%) participants had a plasma viral load less than 50 copies/mL at weeks 4, 12, 24, and 48, respectively. The median CD4 cell count was 330 (IQR: 237-410) cells/μL at baseline, and it increased to 473 (IQR: 344-574) cells/μL at 48 weeks. The HAMD score was 5 (IQR: 3-9.8) and 3 (IQR: 2.25-4) at baseline and 48 weeks, respectively. The PSQI score was 4 (IQR: 2-5.8) and 3 (IQR: 2-4) at baseline and 48 weeks, respectively. Dizziness was the most common event, occurring in 70% of patients within the first 2 weeks of treatment. CONCLUSION Patients prescribed with EFV 400 mg-containing agents demonstrated favourable virological and immunological responses. And the plasma EFV concentration was within the recommended therapeutic range, with fewer adverse reactions than with EFV 600 mg. EFV 400 mg was effective and safe in Chinese HIV-infected patients. Abstract
Sick building syndrome (SBS) is a collection of nonspecific syndromes linked with the built environment. The occurrence of SBS is associated with humidity, ventilation, moulds and microbial compounds exposure. However, no study has reported the association between indoor microbiome and SBS. In this study, 308 students were surveyed for SBS symptoms from 21 classrooms of 7 junior high schools from Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and vacuum dust from floor, desks and chairs was collected. High throughput amplicon sequencing (16S rRNA gene and ITS region) and quantitative PCR were conducted to characterize the absolute concentration of bacteria and fungi taxa. In total, 326 bacterial and 255 fungal genera were detected in dust with large compositional variation among classrooms. Also, half of these samples showed low compositional similarity to microbiome data deposited in the public database. The number of observed OTUs in Gammaproteobacteria was positively associated with SBS (p = 0.004). Eight microbial genera were associated with SBS (p < 0.01). Bacterial genera, Rhodomicrobium, Scytonema and Microcoleus, were protectively (negatively) associated with ocular and throat symptoms and tiredness, and Izhakiella and an unclassified genus from Euzebyaceae were positively associated with the throat and ocular symptoms. Three fungal genera, Polychaeton, Gympopus and an unclassified genus from Microbotryaceae, were mainly positively associated with tiredness. The associations differed with our previous study in microbial compounds (endotoxin and ergosterol) and SBS in the same population, in which nasal and dermal symptoms were affected. A higher indoor relative humidity and visible dampness or mould in classrooms were associated with a higher concentration of potential risk bacteria and a lower concentration of potential protective bacteria (p < 0.01). This is the first study to characterize the SBS-associated microorganisms in the indoor environment, revealing complex interactions between microbiome, SBS symptoms and environmental characteristics.

Abstract
The use of solvothermal conditions has succesfully led to the preparation of heterometallic 1D coordination polymers from a co-bidentate-tridentate phenolato-oxamato ligand. The reaction of the N-(2-hydoxyphenyl)oxamic acid (ohpma) with acetate salts of transition metal ions at 80 °C has yielded the heterobimetallic [Cu(ohpma)M(OAc)(DMF)2] (M = Co (1); Mn (2)) and the heterotrimetallic [Cu(ohpma)Co0.57Mn0.43(OAc)(DMF)2] (3) chain compounds. Single-crystal and powder diffraction studies show that the polymers are isostructural. Magnetic studies suggest the existence of an inter-chain two-dimensional antiferromagnetic interaction taking place in compounds 1-3.

Abstract
Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) is a protein that performs a neurotrophic function. BDNF and its receptors are widely expressed in the nervous system and can promote the growth of neurons and the formation of neuronal synapses in the brain. Studies have shown that a lack of BDNF can lead to impairment of memory and cognitive functions, indicating that BDNF plays an important role in mental illness and neurodegenerative diseases. The combination of stem cells and BDNF-releasing nanomaterials holds great promise in regenerative medicine, especially in the treatment of neurological diseases. For example, Alzheimer's disease, depression, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, etc. The combination of stem cell/pharmacologically active carrier and BDNF-nano/hydrogel provided a useful new type of local delivery tool for the treatment of the nervous system and other diseases. It can not only provide BDNF but also stem cells. These studies will provide a scientific basis for the development and application of BDNF in the future.

Abstract
The improvement in the quality of life is accompanied by an accelerated pace of living and increased work-related pressures. Recent decades has seen an increase in the proportion of obese patients, as well as an increase in the prevalence of breast cancer. More and more evidences prove that obesity may be one of a prognostic impact factor in patients with breast cancer. Obesity presents unique diagnostic and therapeutic challenges in the population of breast cancer patients. Therefore, it is essential to have a better understanding of the relationship between obesity and breast cancer. This study aims to construct a prognostic risk prediction model combining obesity and breast cancer. In this study, we obtained a breast cancer sample dataset from the GEO database containing obesity data [determined by the body mass index (BMI)]. A total of 1174 genes that were differentially expressed between breast cancer samples of patients with and without obesity were screened by the rank-sum test. After weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA), 791 related genes were further screened. Relying on single-factor COX regression analysis to screen the candidate genes to 30, these 30 genes and another set of TCGA data were intersected to obtain 24 common genes. Finally, lasso regression analysis was performed on 24 genes, and a breast cancer prognostic risk prediction model containing 6 related genes was obtained. The model was also found to be related to the infiltration of immune cells. This study provides a new and accurate prognostic model for predicting the survival of breast cancer patients with obesity.

Abstract
This report presented the endemic status of schistosomiasis in the People's Republic of China at a national level in 2019, and analyzed the data collected from the national schistosomiasis prevention and control system and 455 national schistosomiasis surveillance sites. Among the 12 provinces (municipality and autonomous region) endemic for schistosomiasis in China, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong and Guangxi continued to consolidate the achievements of schistosomiasis elimination, Sichuan Province achieved transmission interruption, Jiangsu newly achieved the standard of transmission interruption and 5 provinces of Yunnan, Hubei, Anhui, Jiangxi and Hunan maintained transmission control by the end of 2019. There were 450 endemic counties (cities, districts) endemic for schistosomiasis, including 28 500 endemic villages covering 70 667 800 people at risk of infections. Among the 450 endemic counties (citis, districts), 66.89% (301/450), 28.44% (128/450) and 4.67% (21/450) kept the criteria of elimination, transmission interruption and transmission control of schistosomiasis, respectively. By the end of 2019, a total of 30 170 advanced schistosomiasis cases were documented in China. In 2019, a total of 12 090 712 individuals received inquiry examinations and 1 740 764 were positive; 5 158 369 individuals received serological tests and 89 753 were seropositive. A total of 327 475 individuals received stool examinations and 5 were positive, including one case of acute schistosomiasis. In 2019, snail survey was performed in 19 726 endemic villages in China and Oncomelania snails were found in 7 322 villages, accounting for 37.12% of all surveyed villages, with 6 villages with emerging snail habitats. Snail survey covered an area of 585 286.24 hm2 and 174 270.42 hm2 snail habitats were found, including emerging snail habitats of 64.20 hm2; however, no infected snails were identified. In 2019, a total of 605 965 bovines were raised in the schistosomiasis endemic areas of China, and 183 313 received serological examinations, with 1 176 positives detected, while 134 978 bovines received stool examinations, with 7 positives identified. In 2019, there were 28 557 patients with schistosomiasis receiving praziquantel chemotherapy, and expanded chemotherapy was given to 1 008 083 person-times; there were 7 bovines with schistosomiasis receiving praziquantel chemotherapy, and 296 053 herd-times expanded chemotherapy was given to bovines. In 2019, snail habitats at an area of 128 754.26 hm2 were given chemical treatment, and the actual area of chemical treatment was 69 605.55 hm2, while environmental improvements were performed in snail habitats covering an area of 2 847.00 hm2. Data from the 455 national schistosomiasis surveillance sites of China showed that the mean Schistosoma japonicum infection rates were both zero in humans and bovines in 2019, and no infected snails were found. The results demonstrate that the overall endemic situation of schistosomiasis remains at a lower infection level in China; however, there is still a risk of schistosomiasis transmission. To achieve the target set in the National Thirteenth Five-Year Plan for Schistosomiasis Control and consolidate the achievements of schistosomiasis control, precision control on schistosomiasis still needs to be reinforced in China.

Abstract
Dissolved gas analysis (DGA) in transformer oil is a workable approach to evaluate the operation status of transformers. In this paper, we proposed a Cu-doped Se-vacancy MoSe2 (Cu-MoSe2) monolayer as a promising sensing material for DGA based on first-principles theory. Three typical dissolved gases, namely, CO, C2H2, and C2H4, are the representatives to investigate the potential of the Cu-MoSe2 monolayer upon their adsorption and sensing. Our results indicate that Cu-doping causes strong n-doping for the Se-vacancy MoSe2 monolayer, and the Cu-MoSe2 monolayer exhibits strong chemisorption the three gas molecules, with a calculated adsorption energy (E ad) of -1.25, -1.06, and -1.16 eV, respectively. Such strong interactions lead to remarkable changes in the electrical conductivity of the Cu-MoSe2 monolayer, allowing its application as a resistance-type sensor. Besides, work function (WF) analysis shows the potential of the Cu-MoSe2 monolayer as a promising field-effect transistor sensor as well. It is our hope that our work can stimulate more leading-edge studies of the TM-doped MoSe2 monolayer for sensing applications in many fields.

Abstract
Characterizing the interactions between Cd and Zn with respect to the soil soluble Cd and crop Cd uptake allows the development of risk-based approaches to the performance of grain crops. By means of a three-year survey of 358 rice fields and 206 wheat fields across China, this study investigated the effect of Cd-Zn interactions on the phytoavailability of Cd to rice and wheat. The interactive nature between the Cd:Zn ratio and pH of soil affected crop Cd uptake, and the resulting grain Cd intake risk, were examined by the Free-Ion Activity-based model and probability analysis. In highly acidic rice soils (pH < 5.9), soil Zn had no effect on rice Cd uptake, whereas, under near-neutral conditions (pH > 5.9), a site-specific influence of soil Zn on grain Cd concentration was found. Soil Zn could inhibit Cd uptake and translocation by the plant in soil-wheat system when the soil Cd:Zn ratio decreased to 0.0083 and lower. Rice grain poses a significant health risk to local consumers due to its high Cd accumulation and its low Zn accumulation. In order to reduce the health risks from dietary Cd to local consumers, approximately 63.9% of the rice fields and 30.5% of the wheat fields require strategies ameliorating soil acidity in rice soils and increasing Zn concentrations in wheat soils.

Abstract
Objective: To understand the epidemiological characteristics of imported COVID-19 cases in Guangzhou and provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of the disease. Methods: The data of imported COVID-19 in Guangzhou reported as of April 1, 2020 were collected from National Notifiable Disease Report System of China. The software Excel 2010 and SPSS 19.0 were applied for data cleaning and statistical analysis. Results: As of April 1, 2020, a total of 103 imported COVID-19 cases had been reported in Guangzhou, in which 92 were confirmed cases and 11 were asymptomatic infection cases. The number of the confirmed imported cases accounted for 11.4% (92/806) in of the total in China at the same time. The male to female ratio of the cases was 1.58∶1 (63∶40). The median age of the cases was 31 years (P(25)-P(75):22-40 years), range of age was 11-63 years. The main occupational distributions of the cases were business services (41/103, 39.8%) and students (36/103, 35.0%). The imported cases whose destinations were 19 provinces and municipalities rather than Guangdong after entering the country accounted for 43.7%. The main source countries of infections were the United Kingdom (27/103, 26.2%), the Philippines (13/103, 12.6%), the United States (13/103, 12.6%) and Nigeria (7/103, 6.8%). There were 34 inbound flights from which the imported COVID-19 cases were detected, in which 10 flights (10/34, 29.4%) were found to carry more than 3 cases, with an average voyage time of (11.14±0.53) hours. A total of 29 imported cases(28.2%) showed symptoms before entering the country, and 65 cases (63.1%) had been isolated before the onset of the disease. The mean free activity time of the isolated cases after the onset was (6.76±0.79) days. The average number of the imported cases' close contacts was 53. There were 13 clusters of COVID-19 caused by the imported cases, involving 36 cases (including 1 imported associated case). Conclusions: The sources of the imported COVID-19 cases in Guangzhou were widely distributed, and no cases had been found to be infected on the flights. In the early stage of the imported epidemic, there was high risk for the spread of the epidemic. Strengthened prevention and control of imported COVID-19 effectively reduced the of transmission risk of COVID-19 in communities.

Abstract
Microbial exposure is related to the health of passengers on commercial aircraft, but no studies characterized the microbial composition at the species level and identified their ecological determinants. We collected vacuum dust from floor and seat surfaces in flight decks and cabins of 18 aircraft, and amplification-free shotgun metagenomics was conducted to characterize the microbial composition. In total, 7437 microbial taxa were identified. The relative abundance for bacteria, eukaryote, viruses, and archaea was 96.9%, 1.8%, 0.3%, and 0.03%, respectively. The top bacterial species mainly derived from outdoor air and human skin included Sphingomonas, Corynebacterium, Micrococcus luteus, Variovorax paradoxus, Paracoccus dentrificans, and Propionibacterium acnes. The abundance of NIAID-defined pathogens was low, accounted for only 0.23% of total microbes. The microbial species and functional composition were structured by the indoor surface type (R2 = 0.38, Adonis), followed by the manufacturer of the aircraft (R2 = 0.12) and flight duration (R2 = 0.07). Indoor surfaces affected species derived from different habitats; the abundance of dry skin and desiccated species was higher on textile surfaces, whereas the abundance of moist and oily skin species was higher on leather surfaces. The growth rates for most microbes were stopped and almost stopped.

Abstract
Background Endothelial cells play a pivotal role in cardiovascular physiology and pathology by providing a barrier to the bloodstream. In the current study, we investigated the phenotype and barrier function of endothelial cells in response to shear stress under pro-atherogenic conditions. Methods Endothelial cells were exposed to laminar shear stress (LSS) in a parallel-plate flow chamber containing oxidized low-density lipoprotein (oxLDL) in the perfusion solution, or remained static. We quantified the response of endothelial monolayers to LSS and oxLDL in terms of cell viability, barrier integrity, vascular endothelial cadherin (VE-cadherin) availability, focal adhesion (FA) remodeling, and monocyte-endothelial interactions. Results Our results showed that oxLDL stimulation and static conditions synergized to enhance endothelial barrier disruption. Under the same oxLDL challenge, the application of 25 dynes/cm2 LSS on the endothelial monolayer decreased the passage of fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-dextran by 37.79%, increased transendothelial electrical resistance (TEER) by 24.97% compared with static cells (P<0.05), which was accompanied by reduced intercellular gap formation, relatively solid cell-substrate adhesion. Compared with static cells, endothelial cells exposed to both laminar flow and oxLDL had less small FAs, less monocyte adhesion and transmigration, and alleviated overexpression of VCAM-1 and MCP-1. Meanwhile, the oxLDL-induced internalization of VE-cadherin and vinculin were also attenuated by laminar flow, and this change was more pronounced at LSS of 25 dynes/cm2 than 5 dynes/cm2. Conclusions Static conditions favor, whereas physiologically higher levels of LSS ameliorate endothelial barrier disruption under pro-atherogenic stress, which is related to the improved availability of VE-cadherin and vinculin on the cell surface.

Abstract
Based on data from three major pig diseases, this study calculated the animal disease epidemic index of 31 provinces and autonomous regions in mainland China. We adopted the Gini coefficient to investigate the interregional differences in animal disease epidemic risk and used the Shapley value decomposition method to illustrate the contribution of influencing factors. The results showed that the Gini coefficient remains above 0.60, indicating significant interregional differences in mainland China. Animal breeding level, ecological environment, and animal disease prevention and control contribute most to the interregional differences in animal epidemic risk. The results imply that reducing sewage discharge, increasing pig production, and changing the breeding style from free-range to large-scale farming are measures that may help improve disease prevention and control. This study has implications for providing theoretical references for preventing and controlling animal epidemics and for improving public health governance.

Abstract
Screening and therapeutic programs for colorectal cancer (CRC) are invasive or not effective and unable to meet patient needs. Major advances in immunogenomics may change this status but need more exploration. Differentially expressed genes and immune-related genes (IRGs) were identified by computational methods. A prognostic model was established and validated based on survival-related IRGs via stepwise multivariate Cox regression analysis. Nine IRGs were selected and identified as survival-related genes. A 7-gene prognostic model could offer a preliminary and valid determination of risk in CRC patients. The area under the curve of the receiver operating characteristic was 0.672. The 7-gene prognostic model might be used as a novel prognostic tool in CRC patients.

Preoperative venous computed tomographic angiography (CTA) combined with 3-dimensional computed tomography computed tomography (3D CT) was randomly given to the patients(n=32). Asterion was used for identification of the TSSJ in the controls (n=31). The main outcome measures as postoperative complications and relevant intraoperative indicators were compared. Results: Incision length, craniotomy time, bone window sizein trial group were shorter or smaller than those of the controls, as(6.8±0.5) cm vs (8.0±1.5) cm, (37±8) min vs (45±15) min, (8.7±1.2) cm(2) vs (10.2±2.4) cm(2) respectively, with statistical significance (all P<0.05). No statistical significance was found in bleeding amount, incidence of sinus injury and cerebrospinal fluid leakage. While incidence of neck pain was lower in case group (15.63% vs 38.71%; P=0.04) and the remission time of incisional pain in case group was shorter [(6±1) d vs (9±2) d; P=0.01]. Conclusion: While the technique is used, the center of the keyhole should be located at transitional place of the lateral part of the occipitomastoid suture, the retromastoid ridge and the superior nuchal line. Compared with the traditional craniotomy method marked by asterion, it has great advantages in reducing incidence of postoperative complications, craniotomy time, and the remission time of incisional pain.

Abstract
Recent studies reveal that the microbial diversity and composition in the respiratory tract are related to the susceptibility, development, and progression of respiratory infections. Indoor microorganisms can transmit into the respiratory tract through breathing, but their role in infections is unclear. Here, we present the first association study between the indoor microbiome and respiratory infections. In total, 357 students living in 86 dormitory rooms in Shanxi University were randomly selected to survey symptoms of infections. Settled air dust was collected to characterize bacterial compositions by 16S rRNA sequencing. The overall microbial richness was not associated with respiratory infections, but microorganisms from specific phylogenetic classes showed various associations. Taxa richness and abundance of Actinobacteria were protectively associated with infections (P < .05). The abundance of several genera in Gammaproteobacteria, including Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Buttiauxella, and Raoultella, was positively associated with infections (P < .005). The role of these microorganisms was consistent with previous human microbiota studies. Building age was associated with the overall microbial composition variation in dormitories and negatively associated with three potential risk genera in Proteobacteria (P < .05). The weight of vacuum dust was positively associated with a protective genus, Micrococcus in Actinobacteria (P < .05).

Abstract
Bacterial biofilms do serious harm to the diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) because they play a crucial role in infection invasion and spread. Staphylococcus aureus, the predominant Gram-positive bacteria in diabetic foot infection (DFI), is often associated with colonization and biofilm formation. Through biofilm formation tests in vitro, we observed that S. aureus bacteria isolated from DFU wounds were more prone to form biofilms than those from non-diabetic patients, while there was no difference in blood sugar between the biofilm (+) diabetics (DB+) and biofilm (-) diabetics (DB-). Furthermore, we found that advanced glycation end products (AGEs) promoted the biofilm formation of S. aureus in clinical isolates and laboratory strains in vitro, including a methicillin-resistant strain. Analysis of biofilm components demonstrated that the biofilms formed mainly by increasing extracellular DNA (eDNA) release; remarkably, the S. aureus global regulator sigB was upregulated, and its downstream factor lrgA was downregulated after AGE treatments. Mechanism studies using a sigB-deleted mutant (Newman-ΔsigB) confirmed that AGEs decreased expression of lrgA via induction of sigB, which is responsible for eDNA release and is a required component for S. aureus biofilm development. In conclusion, the present study suggests that AGEs promote S. aureus biofilm formation via an eDNA-dependent pathway by regulating sigB. The data generated by this study will provide experimental proof and theoretical support to improve DFU infection healing.
