Abstract
Introduction Previous studies have reported the beneficial effects of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis XLTG11, Lacticaseibacillus casei Zhang, and Lactiplantibacillus plantarum P8, respectively. However, studies on the immunomodulatory enhancing effects of three complex probiotics have not been conducted. The aim of our study is to investigate the immunomodulatory effects of complex probiotics effect on the immunosuppressed mice induced by cyclophosphamide (CTX). Methods An immunocompromised mouse model was established by intraperitoneal injection of cyclophosphamide, which was gavage of different doses of complex probiotics and levamisole hydrochloride. The splenic and thymic indices, intestinal barrier, leukocyte and lymphocyte counts, percentage of splenic lymphocyte subpopulations, cytokine levels, and gut microbiota were determined. Results Results showed that the complex probiotics significantly elevated the spleen and thymus indices, increased the villi and crypt depth and the goblet cells. The leukocyte and lymphocyte counts and the percentage of splenic lymphocyte subpopulations in the CTX-treated mice were significantly elevated by the complex probiotics. In addition, the cytokines (IL-6, IL-10, IL-1β, and IFN-γ) were significantly increased after complex probiotic treatment. The complex probiotics restored the gut microbiota structure to the pattern of the control group by reducing the ratio of Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes and enhancing the relative abundances of specific microbiota that produced short-chain fatty acids. Discussion This study provides theoretical support for the immunity-enhancing function of the complex probiotics as well as a pharmacological basis for its further development and utilization.

Abstract
Zinc metal battery (ZMB) is promising as the next generation of energy storage system, but challenges relating to dendrites and corrosion of the zinc anode are restricting its practical application. Here, to stabilize Zn anode, we report a controlled electrolytic method for a monolithic solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) via a high dipole moment solvent dimethyl methylphosphonate (DMMP). The DMMP-based electrolytes can generate a homogeneous and robust phosphate SEI (Zn3 (PO4 )2 and ZnP2 O6 ). Benefiting from the protecting impact of this in situ monolithic SEI, the zinc electrode exhibits long-term cycling of 4700 h and a high Coulombic efficiency 99.89 % in Zn|Zn and Zn|Cu cell, respectively. The full V2 O5 |Zn battery with DMMP-H2 O hybrid electrolyte exhibits a high capacity retention of 82.2 % following 4000 cycles under 5 A g-1 . The first success in constructing the monolithic phosphate SEI will open a new avenue in electrolyte design for highly reversible and stable Zn metal anodes.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of preventive care on the psychological state and complications in patients with leukemia undergoing chemotherapy. METHODS Retrospectively, 85 patients with leukemia undergoing chemotherapy in Xinchang People's Hospital from April 2019 to September 2021 were collected, including 47 patients who received preventive care as an observation group and 38 patients who received routine care as a control group. The incidence of chemotherapy-related complications, the scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) before and after nursing intervention, and the General Comfort Questionnaire (GCQ) and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. RESULTS The complication rate in the control group was higher than that of the observation group (P<0.05). The SAS and SDS scores of the control group were higher than those of the observation group after care (P<0.05). The GCQ score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group after care (P<0.05), and the care satisfaction of the control group was lower than that of the observation group (P<0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that age over 65 years old, platelet count less than 50 × 109/L and white blood cell count over 100 × 109/L were risk factors for complications in leukemia patients receiving chemotherapy (P<0.05). CONCLUSION Preventive care helps to improve the negative emotions of patients with leukemia undergoing chemotherapy and reduces complications.

Abstract
Common weedy rice plants are important genetic resources for modern breeding programs because they are the closest relatives to rice cultivars and their genomes contain elite genes. Determining the utility and copy numbers of WRKY and nucleotide-binding site (NBS) resistance-related genes may help to clarify their variation patterns and lead to crop improvements. In this study, the weedy rice line LM8 was examined at the whole-genome level. To identify the Oryza sativa japonica subpopulation that LM8 belongs to, the single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of 180 cultivated and 23 weedy rice varieties were used to construct a phylogenetic tree and a principal component analysis and STRUCTURE analysis were performed. The results indicated that LM8 with admixture components from japonica (GJ) and indica (XI) belonged to GJ-admixture (GJ-adm), with more than 60% of its genetic background derived from XI-2 (22.98%), GJ-tropical (22.86%), and GJ-subtropical (17.76%). Less than 9% of its genetic background was introgressed from weedy rice. Our results also suggested LM8 may have originated in a subtropical or tropical geographic region. Moreover, the comparisons with Nipponbare (NIP) and Shuhui498 (R498) revealed many specific structure variations (SVs) in the LM8 genome and fewer SVs between LM8 and NIP than between LM8 and R498. Next, 96 WRKY and 464 NBS genes were identified and mapped on LM8 chromosomes to eliminate redundancies. Three WRKY genes (ORUFILM02g002693, ORUFILM05g002725, and ORUFILM05g001757) in group III and one RNL [including the resistance to powdery mildew 8 (RPW8) domain, NBS, and leucine rich repeats (LRRs)] type NBS gene (ORUFILM12g000772) were detected in LM8. Among the NBS genes, the RPW8 domain was detected only in ORUFILM12g000772. This gene may improve plant resistance to pathogens as previously reported. Its classification and potential utility imply LM8 should be considered as a germplasm resource relevant for rice breeding programs.

Abstract
Background Paraneoplastic peripheral neuropathy (PPN) caused by olfactory neuroblastoma (ONB) has not yet been reported. Case report We present a rare case of an adult who hospitalized repeatedly over the past 9 months for persistent pain and numbness in the limbs. This patient was initially diagnosed with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) and treated accordingly, but neurological symptoms did not improve significantly. After this admission, FDG-PET/CT showed focal hypermetabolism of a soft-tissue mass in the nasal cavity, and further lesion biopsy suggested ONB. Combined with positive serum anti-Hu antibody, the diagnosis of PPN associated with ONB was eventually made. Furthermore, the patient's neurological symptoms were relieved after removal of the primary tumor, confirming the accuracy of the diagnosis. Conclusion Our case not only expanded the clinical characteristics of ONB but also highlighted the importance of early and comprehensive tumor screening for the diagnosis of PPN.

Abstract
As a new natural antioxidant with high safety and non-toxic side effects, polysaccharide can also be used as a critical macromolecular carrier to form a stable iron complex with Fe3+. Our previous study has extracted and purified the homogeneous polysaccharide (PCP1C) from Poria cocos. In this study, the PCP1C-iron (III) complex was synthesized by co-thermal synthesis with PCP1C and ferric trichloride. The chelating capacity, iron releasing capacity, and qualitative identification of complex were evaluated. The complex was characterized by scanning electron microscope-energy dispersive spectrometer (SEM-EDS) analysis, particle size distribution, and fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. The antioxidant and iron supplement effects of the complex were also studied in vitro and in the iron deficiency anemia (IDA) rat model. The results showed that the iron content in the PCP1C-iron (III) complex was 28.14% with no free iron, and the iron release rate was 95.3%. The structure analysis showed that the iron core of the PCP1C-iron (III) complex existed in the form of β-FeOOH and the surface of the complex become smooth and particle size increased, which indicated the high iron content of polysaccharide iron and slow release. Furthermore, we found that the PCP1C iron (III) complex had positive scavenging effect on DPPH, ABTS, MDA, and hydroxyl radical in vitro study and significantly increased the levels of red blood cell (RBC), Hemoglobin (Hb), and red blood cell specific volume (HCT) in IDA rat model. Therefore, our results suggested that the PCP1C-iron (III) complex is expected to develop into a new comprehensive iron supplement and antioxidant.

Abstract
Numerous studies have demonstrated that dysfunctional high-density lipoprotein (HDL), especially oxidized HDL (OxHDL), could generate multifaceted in vivo proatherogenic effects that run counter to the antiatherogenic activities of HDL. It thereby reminded us that the in vitro reconstituted HDL (rHDL) might encountered with oxidation-induced dysfunction. Accordingly, a green-inspired method was employed to recycle non-split HDL from human plasma fraction IV. Then it was compared with rHDL formulated by an ethanol-injection method in terms of physicochemical properties and anti-dysfunctional activities. Results exhibited that rHDL oxidation extent exceeded that of non-split HDL evidenced by higher malondialdehy content, weaker inhibition on low-density lipoprotein (LDL) oxidation and more superoxide anion. The reserved paraoxonase-1 activity on non-split HDL could partially explain for above experimental results. In the targeted transport mechanism experiment, upon SR-BI receptor inhibition and/or CD36 receptor blockage, the almost unchanged non-split HDL uptake in lipid-laden macrophage indicated its negligible oxidation modification profile with regard to rHDL again. Furthermore, compared to rHDL, better macrophage biofunctions were observed for non-split HDL as illustrated by accelerated cholesterol efflux, inhibited oxidized LDL uptake and lessened cellular lipid accumulation. Along with decreased ROS secretion, obviously weakened oxidative stress damage was also detected under treatment with non-split HDL. More importantly, foam cells with non-split HDL-intervention inspired an enhanced inflammation repression and apoptosis inhibition effect. Collectively, the anti-dysfunctional activities of non-split HDL make it suitable as a potential nanocarrier platform for cardiovascular drug payload and delivery.

Abstract
Aim Antibiotic-associated diarrhea (AAD) is a common side effect during antibiotic treatment, which can cause dysbacteriosis of the gut microbiota. Previous studies have shown beneficial effects in AAD treatment with Bifidobacterium lactis XLTG11, Lactobacillus casei Zhang, Lactobacillus plantarum CCFM8661, and Lactobacillus rhamnosus Probio-M9. However, no studies have been conducted on the immunomodulatory effects and protective intestinal barrier function of four complex probiotics. The aim of our study is to investigate the alleviation effects of complex probiotics on ampicillin-induced AAD. Methods Thirty-six BALB/c mice were randomly divided into six groups: normal control group (NC), model control group (MC), low-, medium-, and high-dose probiotics groups (LD, MD, and HD), and positive drug (Bifico, 1 × 107 cfu) control group (PDC; Bifico, also known as Bifidobacterium Triple Live Capsule, is composed of Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus acidophilus, and Enterococcus faecalis). An AAD model was established by intragastric administration of ampicillin, by gavage of different doses of complex probiotics and Bifico. The weight gain, fecal water content, loose stool grade, intestinal permeability, total protein and albumin levels, intestinal barrier, cytokine levels, and gut microbiota were determined. Results The results showed that complex probiotics significantly decreased the fecal water content, loose stool grade, intestinal permeability, and ileum tissue damage. Their application increased the weight gain, SIgA, TP, and ALB levels. Additionally, complex probiotics significantly decreased the levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines and increased those of anti-inflammatory cytokines. Meanwhile, the mRNA expression levels of ZO-1, occludin, claudin-1, and MUC2 were significantly upregulated in the probiotic-treated group. Furthermore, the complex probiotics increased the gut microbiota diversity and modulated the changes in the gut microbiota composition caused by ampicillin. At the phylum level, the abundance of Proteobacteria in the HD group was lower than that in the MC group, whereas that of Bacteroidetes was higher. At the genus level, the abundances of Klebsiella and Parabacteroides in the HD group were lower, whereas those of Bacteroides, Muribaculaceae, and Lactobacillus were higher than those in the MC group. Moreover, Spearman's correlation analysis also found that several specific gut microbiota were significantly correlated with AAD-related indicators. Conclusion We found that complex probiotics improved the diarrhea-related indexes, regulated gut microbiota composition and diversity, increased the expression levels of intestinal protective barrier-related genes, preserved the intestinal barrier function, and relieved inflammation and intestinal injury, thereby effectively improving AAD-associated symptoms. Abstract
Background Pregabalin is worldwidely licensed for the treatment of a variety of pain syndromes and supposed to be a potential candidate for the centrally mediated abdominal pain syndrome (CAPS). Objectives To investigate the efficacy of pregabalin on nociceptive and emotional symptoms in CAPS patients. Design This is an open-label randomized controlled trial. Methods CAPS patients were randomized to receive pregabalin 75 mg (P group), pinaverium bromide 50 mg (PB group), or pregabalin combined pinaverium bromide regimen (P + PB group) three times daily for 4 weeks. Questionnaires were completed biweekly. The primary outcomes were defined as the average abdominal pain scores of severity and frequency at weeks 2 and 4. Secondary outcomes included the reduction in abdominal pain scores, Somatic Self-rating Scale (SSS), Patient Health Questionnaire-15 (PHQ-15), and Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale 7 (GAD-7) scales obtained at the end of trial to the baseline. Results Totally, 102 eligible patients were recruited and randomized. The mean severity scores of abdominal pain were 1.39 ± 1.28, 0.97 ± 1.43 versus 2.91 ± 1.44 (p < 0.0001) in P or PB + P group versus PB group at week 2 and were 0.90 ± 1.21, 1.28 ± 1.87 versus 2.74 ± 1.75 (p < 0.0001) at week 4. The mean frequency scores were 2.55 ± 2.55, 2.03 ± 2.80 versus 5.12 ± 2.09(p < 0.0001) in P or PB + P group versus PB group at week 2 and were 1.72 ± 2.46, 2.00 ± 2.90 versus 4.55 ± 2.55 (p < 0.0001) at week 4. When comparing the changes in SSS, PHQ-15, and GAD-7 scores, patients accepting pregabalin or pregabalin combination regimen reported a more decrease than pinaverium bromide recipients (p = 0.0002, p = 0.0002, and p = 0.0033). Conclusion This trial suggests that pregabalin may be beneficial for CAPS abdominal pain and concomitant somatic or anxiety symptoms. Registration www.chictr.org.cn (ChiCTR1900028026).

Abstract
Obesity, a chronic metabolic disease with a complex pathophysiology, is caused by several variables. High-fat diets lead to the disruption of the gut microbiota and impaired gut barrier function in obese people. The dysbiosis and its metabolites through the intestinal barrier lead to an imbalance in energy metabolism and inflammatory response, which eventually contributes to the development of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. Current medicines are therapeutic to obesity in the short term; however, they may bring significant physical and emotional problems to patients as major side effects. Therefore, it is urgent to explore new therapeutic methods that have definite efficacy, can be taken for a long time, and have mild adverse effects. Numerous studies have demonstrated that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) can control the gut microbiota in a multi-targeted and comprehensive manner, thereby restoring flora homeostasis, repairing damaged intestinal mucosal barriers, and eventually curbing the development of obesity. The active ingredients and compounds of TCM can restore the normal physiological function of the intestinal mucosal barrier by regulating gut microbiota to regulate energy metabolism, inhibit fat accumulation, affect food appetite, and reduce intestinal mucosal inflammatory response, thereby effectively promoting weight loss and providing new strategies for obesity prevention and treatment. Although there are some studies on the regulation of gut microbiota by TCM to prevent and treat obesity, all of them have the disadvantage of being systematic and comprehensive. Therefore, this work comprehensively describes the molecular mechanism of obesity mediated by gut microbiota based on the research state of obesity, gut microbiota, and TCM. A comprehensive and systematic summary of TCM targeting the regulation of gut microbiota for the treatment of obesity should be conducted in order to provide new strategies and ideas for the treatment of obesity.

Abstract
Exploration of plant secondary metabolites or by using them as leads for development of new pesticides has become one of the focal research topics nowadays. Herein, a series of new ester derivatives of piperine were prepared via the Vilsmeier−Haack−Arnold (VHA) reaction, and their structures were characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR), melting point (mp), proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H NMR), and carbon nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (13C NMR). Notably, the steric configurations of compounds 6 and 7 were confirmed by single-crystal analysis. Against T. cinnabarinus, compounds 9 and 11 exhibited 47.6- and 45.4-fold more pronounced acaricidal activity than piperine. In particular, compounds 9 and 11 also showed 2.6-fold control efficiency on the fifth day of piperine. In addition, compound 6 (>10−fold higher than piperine) displayed the most potent aphicidal activity against A. citricola. Furthermore, some derivatives showed good aphicidal activities against E. lanigerum. Moreover, the effects of compounds on the cuticles of T. cinnabarinus were investigated by the scanning electron microscope (SEM) imaging method. This study will pave the way for future high value added application of piperine and its derivatives as botanical pesticides.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Post-stroke depression (PSD) is one of the most common neuropsychiatric complications after stroke. The occurrence, development and prognosis of PSD have long been different between males and females. The main purpose of this study was to explore the influencing factors of PSD at 3 months in males and females, and construct random forest (RF) models to rank the influencing factors. METHODS This is a prospective multicenter cohort study (Registration number: ChiCTR-ROC-17013993). Stroke patients hospitalized in the department of Neurology of three hospitals in Wuhan were enrolled from May 2018 to August 2019. Scale assessments were performed 24 hours after admission and 3 months after stroke onset. Binary logistic regression analysis was used for univariate and multivariate (stepwise backward method) analysis, when p was less than 0.05, the difference between groups was considered statistically significant. Lastly, the RF models were constructed according to the results of multivariate regression analysis. RESULTS This study found that several baseline variables were associated with PSD at 3 months in males and females. RF model ranked them as stroke severity (OR [odds ratio] =1.17, p < 0.001, 95%CI [confidence interval]:1.11-1.24), neuroticism dimension (OR = 1.06, p = 0.002, 95%CI:1.02-1.10), physical exercise (OR = 0.62, p = 0.007, 95%CI:0.44-0.88), sleeping time < 5 h (OR = 1.91, p = 0.006, 95% CI:1.20-3.04) and atrial fibrillation (OR = 4.18, p = 0.012, 95%CI:1.38-12.68) in males. In females, RF model ranked them as psychological resilience (OR = 0.98, p = 0.015, 95%CI:0.96-1.00), ability of daily living (OR = 0.98, p = 0.001, 95%CI:0.97-0.99), neuroticism dimension (OR = 1.11, p = 0.002, 95%CI:1.04-1.18) and subjective support (OR = 1.11, p < 0.001, 95%CI:1.05-1.78). CONCLUSION The study found influencing factors of PSD at 3 months were different in males and females, and construct RF models to rank them according to their importance. This suggests that clinicians should focus their interventions on sex-specific influencing factors in order to improve the prognosis of PSD patients. TRIAL REGISTRATION ChiCTR-ROC-17013993.

Abstract
DNA methylation mediated by DNA methyltransferase is an important epigenetic process that regulates gene expression in mammals, which plays a key role in silencing certain genes, such as tumor suppressor genes, in cancer, and it has become a promising therapeutic target for cancer treatment. Similar to other epigenetic targets, DNA methyltransferase can also be modulated by chemical agents. Four agents have already been approved to treat hematological cancers. In order to promote the development of a DNA methyltransferase inhibitor as an anti-tumor agent, in the current review, we discuss the relationship between DNA methylation and tumor, the anti-tumor mechanism, the research progress and pharmacological properties of DNA methyltransferase inhibitors, and the future research trend of DNA methyltransferase inhibitors.

Abstract
Background Sarcopenia, characterized by the loss of muscle mass, strength, and physical ability, occurs with aging and certain chronic illnesses such as chronic liver diseases and cancer. Sarcopenia is common in liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Previous reports of association between sarcopenia and prognosis of HCC have been inconsistent. Therefore, the present systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to investigate the impact of sarcopenia on the survival of patients with HCC. Methods A systematic literature search was conducted using PubMed, EMBASE, and Web of Science electronic databases from inception to May 1, 2022. We included retrospective or prospective studies investigating the association between sarcopenia and overall survival (OS) and/or progression free survival (PFS) of HCC. We applied the Quality in Prognosis Studies (QUIPS) instrument to evaluate the risk of bias and quality of included studies. The primary and secondary outcomes were the associations of sarcopenia with OS and PFS, respectively, expressed by a pooled hazard ratio (HR) and corresponding 95% confidence interval (CI). Subgroup analysis and sensitivity analysis were performed. We further evaluated the publication bias by the funnel plot and Begg's test. Results A total of 42 studies comprising 8,445 patients were included. The majority of included studies were at an overall low risk of bias. The pooled prevalence of sarcopenia was 39% (95% CI: 33-45%) (n = 8,203). Sarcopenia was associated with an increased risk of shorter OS, with a pooled adjusted HR of 1.84 (95% CI: 1.62-2.09). An independent association between sarcopenia and reduced PFS was observed (HR = 1.33, 95% CI: 1.12-1.56). Conclusion The prevalence of sarcopenia was approximately 39% among patients with HCC. Sarcopenia was independently associated with reduced OS and PFS in HCC irrespective of treatment modalities. It is imperative that interventions aimed at alleviating sarcopenia and restoring muscle mass be implemented in order to improve the survival of patients with HCC. Abstract
BACKGROUND Educational institutions worldwide have experienced the suspension of offline teaching activities in favor of online teaching due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, few studies have focused on the degree of support for online learning among college students in mainland China. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the degree of support for online learning among Chinese college students during the epidemic and whether depression, loneliness, family communication, and social support were associated factors. METHODS A questionnaire was used to collect cross-sectional data from 9319 college students in mainland China, and a structural equation model was analyzed. RESULTS The results of the study showed high degrees of support for online learning among Chinese college students during the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than half expressing support. The SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) results showed that depression had a negative and significant effect on college students' support for online learning (β = -0.07; p < 0.001); family communication had a positive and significant effect on college students' support for online learning (β = 0.09; p < 0.001); social support had a positive and significant effect on college students' support for online learning (β = 0.11; p < 0.001). CONCLUSIONS Social support and family communication can alleviate the negative psychological status of college students, and depression plays a mediating role in the effect of social support and family communication on college students' degree of support for online learning. In addition, a significant chain-mediating effect was found of family communication, loneliness, and depression between social support and college students' degree of support for online learning. Government and education institutions must focus on college students' mental health issues and consider family interventions and general support that college students require.

Abstract
Lichens are well known as pioneer organisms or stress-tolerant extremophiles, potentially playing a core role in the early formation of terrestrial ecosystems. Epiphytic macrolichens are known to contribute to the water- and nutrient cycles in forest ecosystem. But due to the scarcity of fossil record, the evolutionary history of epiphytic macrolichens is poorly documented. Based on new fossil of Jurassic Daohugouthallus ciliiferus, we demonstrate the hitherto oldest known macrolichen inhabited a gymnosperm branch. We applied energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy and geometric morphometric analysis to complementarily verify lichen affinity of D. ciliiferus and quantitatively assess the potential relationships with extant lichenized lineages, providing new approaches for study of this lichen adpression fossil. Considering the results, and the inferred age of D. ciliiferus, a new family, Daohugouthallaceae, is established. This work updates current knowledge to the early evolution of epiphytic macrolichens and reveals more complex lichen-plant interactions in a Jurassic forest ecosystem.

Abstract
Giant pandas are uniquely vulnerable mammals in western China. It is important to develop an animal model to explore the intestinal flora of giant pandas to understand the relationship between digestive diseases and flora. Existing animal models of intestinal flora focus on human flora-associated animals, such as mice, and there is a very limited amount of knowledge regarding giant panda flora-associated animals. To fill this gap, fecal microorganisms from giant pandas were transplanted into pseudosterile and germfree mice using single and multiple gavages. Fecal samples were collected from mice at four time points after transplantation for microbial community analysis. We determined that compared to pseudosterile mice, the characteristics of intestinal flora in pandas were better reproduced in germfree mice. There was no significant difference in microbial diversity between germfree mice and giant panda gut microbes from day 3 to day 21. Germfree mice at the phylum level possessed large amounts of Firmicutes and Proteobacteria, and at the genus level, Escherichia-Shigella, Clostridium sensu stricto 1, and Streptococcus dominated the intestinal flora structure. The microbial community co-occurrence network based on indicator species indicated that germfree mice transplanted with fecal bacteria tended to form a microbial community co-occurrence network similar to that of giant pandas, while pseudosterile mice tended to restore the microbial community co-occurrence network originally present in these mice. Our data are helpful for the study of giant panda flora-associated animals and provide new insights for the in vitro study of giant panda intestinal flora. IMPORTANCE The giant panda is a unique vulnerable mammal in western China, and its main cause of death is digestive system diseases regardless of whether these animals are in the wild or in captivity. The relationship between the intestinal flora and the host exerts a significant impact on the nutrition and health of the giant pandas. However, the protected status of the giant panda has made in vivo, repeatable, and large-sample sampling studies of their intestinal flora difficult. This greatly hinders the research depth of the giant panda intestinal flora from the source. The development and utilization of specific animal models to simulate the structure and characteristics of the intestinal flora provide another means to deal with these research limitations. However, current research examining giant panda flora-associated animals is limited. This study is the first to reveal dynamic changes in the fecal flora of giant pandas in mice after transplantation.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the prevalence of atrial cardiomyopathy in patients with different types of acute ischemic stroke and its relationship with cryptogenic stroke. Methods: Patients with acute ischemic stroke within 7 days of onset who were admitted to the Department of Neurology of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January to September 2019 were prospectively and consecutively enrolled. All included patients were classified according to TOAST classification of ischemic stroke. Chi-square test was used to compare the prevalence of atrial cardiomyopathy among patients with different TOAST classifications. Multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the related factors of cryptogenic stroke. Results: A total of 1 098 patients with acute ischemic stroke were enrolled in the study, including 661 males and 437 females, with a median age [M(Q1,Q3)] of 61 (53, 68) years. The prevalence of atrial cardiomyopathy in patients with cryptogenic stroke[53.5% (46/86)] was higher than that in patients with large artery atherosclerosis [38.0%(63/166), P=0.018] and small vessel occlusion [19.4%(37/191), P<0.001], but was lower than that of patients in the cardioembolic group [97.3% (72/74), P<0.001]. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that atrial cardiomyopathy was an associated factor for cryptogenic stroke (OR=2.945, 95%CI: 1.766-4.911, P<0.001). Conclusions: Atrial cardiomyopathy is associated with cryptogenic stroke. The prevalence of atrial cardiomyopathy in patients with cryptogenic stroke is higher than that in patients with large artery atherosclerosis and small vessel occlusion, but lower than that in patients with cardiac embolism.

Abstract
The blood–brain barrier (BBB) is a structural and functional barrier necessary for brain homeostasis, and it plays an important role in the realization of neural function and in protecting the brain from damage by circulating toxins and pathogens. However, the extremely dense BBB also severely limits the transport of molecules across it, which is a great hindrance to the diagnosis and treatment of central nervous system (CNS) diseases. This paper reports a new method for controllable opening of the BBB, based on the gigahertz acoustic streaming (AS) generated by a bulk acoustic wave resonant device. By adjusting the input power and working distance of the device, AS with tunable flow rate can be generated to disrupt tight junction proteins (TJs) between endothelial cells. The results obtained with this method show that the gigahertz AS promotes the penetration of dextran molecules with different molecular weights across the BBB. This work provides a new platform for studying the mechanical regulation of BBB by fluid shear forces and a new method for improving the efficiency of drug delivery.

Abstract
Objective In order to determine whether the immune balance of T helper 17(Th17)/regulatory T(Treg) is related to the pathogenesis of idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis (IRPF), we analyzed the differences in peripheral blood lymphocytes, CD4+T cell subsets and cytokines between patients with IRPF and healthy people to clarify the CD4+T cell subsets, especially Treg cell subsets, and the role of cytokines in the pathogenesis of IRPF. Methods This study included 22 patients with IRPF, 36 patients with IgG4-related diseases (IgG4-RD) without retroperitoneal fibrosis (RPF), and 28 healthy controls. The absolute numbers and percentage of peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets and CD4+T cell subsets in each group were detected by flow cytometry, and the serum cytokine level was detected by flow cytometric bead array (CBA). Results Compared with the healthy group, the absolute value of B cells in peripheral blood of IRPF patients was significantly decreased, and T, natural killer (NK), CD4+ and CD8+ were not significantly abnormal. The absolute numbers of Th2 cells were lower than healthy group(p=0.043). In particular, the absolute numbers of Treg cells were significantly lower than healthy group(p<0.001), while the absolute numbers of Th17 cells increased(p=0.682). Th17/Treg was significantly higher than healthy group (p< 0.001). Cytokine analysis showed that the level of interleukin (IL)-4 in IRPF patients was higher than healthy group(p=0.011), IL-6, IL-10, IL-17, TNF-α and IFN-γ were significantly higher than healthy group (all p<0.001). Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves showed that IL-10 and TNF-α could distinguish bilateral ureteral dilatation in IRPF patients, with areas under the ROC curve (AUCs) of 0.813 (95% CI:0.607-1.000, p=0.026) and 0.950 (95% CI:0.856-1.000, p=0.001), respectively. IL-6 could distinguish bilateral ureteral obstruction, with an AUC of 0.861 (95% CI: 0.682-1.000, p=0.015). Conclusions Our study showed that IRPF patients had reduced Treg cells and indeed had Th17/Treg imbalance, which may be related to the pathogenesis of the disease. The levels of IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α appear to be associated with the progression of IRPF.

Abstract
Softening is a key step during fruit ripening that is modulated by the interplay between multiple phytohormones. The antagonistic action of abscisic acid (ABA) and auxin determines the rate of fruit ripening and softening. However, the transcription factors that integrate ABA and auxin signals to regulate fruit softening remain to be determined. In this study, we identified several DNA-binding with One Finger (Dof) transcription factors essential for ABA-promoted fruit softening, based on transcriptome analysis of two sweet cherry (Prunus avium L.) varieties with different fruit firmness. We show that PavDof6 directly binds to the promoters of genes encoding cell wall-modifying enzymes to activate their transcription, while PavDof2/15 directly repress their transcription. Transient overexpression of PavDof6 and PavDof2/15 in sweet cherry fruits resulted in precocious and delayed softening, respectively. In addition, we show that the auxin response factor PavARF8, the expression of whose encoding gene is repressed by ABA, activates PavDof2/15 transcription. Furthermore, PavDof2/6/15 and PavARF8 directly bind to the 9-cis-epoxycarotenoid dioxygenase 1 (PavNCED1) promoter and regulate its expression, forming a feedback mechanism for ABA-mediated fruit softening. These findings unveil the physiological framework of fruit softening and establish a direct functional link between the ABA-PavARF8-PavDofs module and cell-wall-modifying genes in mediating fruit softening.

Abstract
It is essential to release annealing induced strain during the crystallization process to realize efficient and stable perovskite solar cells (PSCs), which does not seem achievable using the conventional annealing process. Here we report a novel and facile thermal gradient assisted crystallization strategy by simply introducing a slant angle between the preheated hot plate and the substrate. A distinct crystallization sequence resulted along the in-plane direction pointing from the hot side to the cool side, which effectively reduced the crystallization rate, controlled the perovskite grain growth, and released the in-plane tensile strain. Moreover, this strategy enabled uniform strain distribution in the vertical direction and assisted in reducing the defects and aligning the energy bands. The corresponding device demonstrated champion power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of 23.70% and 21.04% on the rigid and flexible substrates, respectively. These highly stable rigid devices retained 97% of the initial PCE after 1097 h of storage and more than 80% of the initial PCE after 1000 h of continuous operation at the maximum power point. This novel strategy opens a simple and effective avenue to improve the quality of perovskite films and photovoltaic devices via strain modulation and defect passivation.

Abstract
Cholestasis, characterized by disturbance of bile formation, is a common pathological condition that can induce several serious liver diseases. As a kind of trigger, estrogen-induced cholestasis belongs to drug-induced cholestasis. Paeoniflorin is the most abundant bioactive constituent in Paeonia lactiflora Pall., Paeonia suffruticosa Andr., or Paeonia veitchii Lynch, a widely used herbal medicine for treating hepatic disease over centuries in China. However, the pharmacologic effect and mechanism of paeoniflorin on estrogen-induced cholestasis remain unclear. In this experiment, the pharmacological effect of paeoniflorin on EE-induced cholestasis in rats was evaluated comprehensively for the first time. Ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with Q-Exactive orbitrap mass spectrometer was used to monitor the variation of bile acid levels and composition. It was demonstrated that paeoniflorin alleviated 17α-ethinylestradiol (EE)-induced cholestasis dose-dependently, characterized by a decrease of serum biochemical indexes, recovery of bile flow, amelioration of hepatic and ileal histopathology, and reduction of oxidative stress. In addition, paeoniflorin intervention restored EE-disrupted bile acid homeostasis in enterohepatic circulation. Further mechanism studies using western blot, quantitative Real-Time PCR, and immunohistochemical showed that paeoniflorin could upregulate hepatic efflux transporters expression but downregulate hepatic uptake transporter expression. Meanwhile, paeoniflorin reduced bile acids synthesis by repressing cholesterol 7α-hydroxylase in hepatocytes. Paeoniflorin affected the above transporters and enzyme via activation of a nuclear receptor, farnesoid X receptor (FXR), which was recognized as a vital regulator for maintaining bile acid homeostasis. In conclusion, paeoniflorin alleviated EE-induced cholestasis and maintained bile acid homeostasis via FXR-mediated regulation of bile acids transporters and synthesis enzyme. The findings indicated that paeoniflorin might exert a potential therapeutic medicine for estrogen-induced cholestasis.

Abstract
To understand how genes precisely regulate lactation physiological activity and the molecular genetic mechanisms underlying mammary gland involution, this study investigated the transcriptome characteristics of goat mammary gland tissues at the late gestation (LG), early lactation (EL), peak lactation (PL), late lactation (LL), dry period (DP), and involution (IN) stages. A total of 13,083 differentially expressed transcripts were identified by mutual comparison of mammary gland tissues at six developmental stages. Genes related to cell growth, apoptosis, immunity, nutrient transport, synthesis, and metabolism make adaptive transcriptional changes to meet the needs of mammary lactation. Notably, platelet derived growth factor receptor beta (PDGFRB) was screened as a hub gene of the mammary gland developmental network, which is highly expressed during the DP and IN. Overexpression of PDGFRB in vitro could slow down the G1/S phase arrest of goat mammary epithelial cell cycle and promote cell proliferation by regulating the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. In addition, PDGFRB overexpression can also affect the expression of genes related to apoptosis, matrix metalloproteinase family, and vascular development, which is beneficial to the remodeling of mammary gland tissue during involution. These findings provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms involved in lactation and mammary gland involution.

Abstract
Background Rabbit wool traits are important in fiber production and for model organism research on hair growth, but their genetic architecture remains obscure. In this study, we focused on wool characteristics in Angora rabbits, a breed well-known for the quality of its wool. Considering the cost to generate population-scale sequence data and the biased detection of variants using chip data, developing an effective genotyping strategy using low-coverage whole-genome sequencing (LCS) data is necessary to conduct genetic analyses. Results Different genotype imputation strategies (BaseVar + STITCH, Bcftools + Beagle4, and GATK + Beagle5), sequencing coverages (0.1X, 0.5X, 1.0X, 1.5X, and 2.0X), and sample sizes (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 600) were compared. Our results showed that using BaseVar + STITCH at a sequencing depth of 1.0X with a sample size larger than 300 resulted in the highest genotyping accuracy, with a genotype concordance higher than 98.8% and genotype accuracy higher than 0.97. We performed multivariate genome-wide association studies (GWAS), followed by conditional GWAS and estimation of the confidence intervals of quantitative trait loci (QTL) to investigate the genetic architecture of wool traits. Six QTL were detected, which explained 0.4 to 7.5% of the phenotypic variation. Gene-level mapping identified the fibroblast growth factor 10 (FGF10) gene as associated with fiber growth and diameter, which agrees with previous results from functional data analyses on the FGF gene family in other species, and is relevant for wool rabbit breeding. Conclusions We suggest that LCS followed by imputation can be a cost-effective alternative to array and high-depth sequencing for assessing common variants. GWAS combined with LCS can identify new QTL and candidate genes that are associated with quantitative traits. This study provides a cost-effective and powerful method for investigating the genetic architecture of complex traits, which will be useful for genomic breeding applications. Abstract
With the vigorous development of the medical industry in China, residents' health has been significantly improved. However, along with the income gap, urban-rural gap, and healthcare resource gap caused by economic development, health inequality has become a fundamental barrier to the promotion of residents' health. The popularity of the Internet has helped close the gap to some extent, but it also has drawbacks. Using data from the China Family Panel Studies (CFPS) from 2014 to 2018, we evaluated the effects of Internet usage on health disparities among residents using fixed effect models, mediation effect models, and other methodologies. The findings indicate that Internet usage can help to minimize health inequality since it lowers income inequality, promotes health consciousness, and reduces depression. Furthermore, Internet usage plays a greater role on the health improvement of the middle-aged, the elderly, urban residents, and females. Although the Internet has brought "digital dividends" in general, the Internet usage rates among different groups also reveal that there is a clear "digital gap" among rural residents, elderly groups, and low-income groups. These results have significant implications for promoting healthcare equality.

Abstract
Iron-based materials have been widely investigated because of their high surface reactivity, which has shown potential for the remediation of metal(loid)s in groundwater. However, the disadvantages of structural stability and economic feasibility always limit their application in permeable reactive barrier (PRB) technology. In this study, zeolite-supported iron particles (Zeo-Fe) were synthesized by an innovative low-cost physical preparation method that is suitable for mass production. The removal efficiency and mechanism of typical metal(loid)s (Pb2+, Cd2+, Cr6+ and As3+) were subsequently investigated using various kinetic and equilibrium models and characterization methods. The results of scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectrometry (SEM-EDS), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) confirmed that zero valent iron (Fe0) and oxidation product (Fe3O4) were successfully loaded and efficiently dispersed on zeolite. The synthesized Zeo-Fe exhibited excellent adsorption and redox capacities for the cations Pb2+, Cd2+ and anions Cr6+, As3+. The increase in the pH resulting from Fe0 corrosion also enhanced the precipitation of Fe-metal(loid)s. The maximum removal capacity for Pb2+, Cd2+, Cr6+ and As3+ was up to 70.00, 9.12, 2.35 and 0.36 mg/g, respectively. The removal processes were well described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model for Pb2+ and Cd2+, Lagergren pseudo first-order kinetics model for As3+ and double phase first order kinetics model l for Cr6+. Cr6+ was rapidly reduced to Cr3+ by the Fe0 stabilized on Zeo-Fe, and the oxidation of As3+ to As5+ was attributed to the Fe0/Fe2+ oxidation process at the interface over time, which was further demonstrated by the mineral phase and element valence analyses of reacted Zeo-Fe. The removal mechanism for metal(loid)s was a combination of physical and chemical processes, including adsorption, co-precipitation and reduction-oxidation. Conclusively, Zeo-Fe has been shown to have potential as an effective and economical material for removing various metal(loid)s used in PRB.

Abstract
Clostridium perfringens can produce many kinds of toxins and hydrolase, causing gas gangrene, enteritis and enterotoxemia in both human and animals. It is known that C. perfringens can produce more than 20 toxins and hydrolases. The different toxin types are associated with specific disease types. At present, molecular toxin-typing method by PCR has replaced the traditional serological typing method. In this study, we systematically summarize the types, basic characteristics, pathogenic mechanism and the relationship with disease of C. perfringens toxins to provide evidence for the establishment of rapid detection method, immune antigen screening, antibody preparation and research of related pathogenic mechanism.

Abstract
Using a sample of (10.09±0.04)×10^{9} J/ψ events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, a partial wave analysis of the decay J/ψ→γηη^{'} is performed. The first observation of an isoscalar state with exotic quantum numbers J^{PC}=1^{-+}, denoted as η_{1}(1855), is reported in the process J/ψ→γη_{1}(1855) with η_{1}(1855)→ηη^{'}. Its mass and width are measured to be (1855±9_{-1}^{+6}) MeV/c^{2} and (188±18_{-8}^{+3}) MeV, respectively, where the first uncertainties are statistical and the second are systematic, and its statistical significance is estimated to be larger than 19σ.

Abstract
Ferroptosis is characterized by the accumulation of iron and lipid peroxidation products, which regulates physiological and pathological processes in numerous organs and tissues. A growing body of research suggests that ferroptosis is a key causative factor in a variety of skeletal muscle diseases, including sarcopenia, rhabdomyolysis, rhabdomyosarcoma, and exhaustive exercise-induced fatigue. However, the relationship between ferroptosis and various skeletal muscle diseases has not been investigated systematically. This review’s objective is to provide a comprehensive summary of the mechanisms and signaling factors that regulate ferroptosis, including lipid peroxidation, iron/heme, amino acid metabolism, and autophagy. In addition, we tease out the role of ferroptosis in the progression of different skeletal muscle diseases and ferroptosis as a potential target for the treatment of multiple skeletal muscle diseases. This review can provide valuable reference for the research on the pathogenesis of skeletal muscle diseases, as well as for clinical prevention and treatment.

Abstract
Electrochemical biosensors generally require the immobilization of recognition elements or capture probes on the electrode surface. This may limit their practical applications due to the complex operation procedure and low repeatability and stability. Magnetically assisted biosensors show remarkable advantages in separation and pre-concentration of targets from complex biological samples. More importantly, magnetically assisted sensing systems show high throughput since the magnetic materials can be produced and preserved on a large scale. In this work, we summarized the design of electrochemical biosensors involving magnetic materials as the platforms for recognition reaction and target conversion. The recognition reactions usually include antigen-antibody, DNA hybridization, and aptamer-target interactions. By conjugating an electroactive probe to biomolecules attached to magnetic materials, the complexes can be accumulated near to an electrode surface with the aid of external magnet field, producing an easily measurable redox current. The redox current can be further enhanced by enzymes, nanomaterials, DNA assemblies, and thermal-cycle or isothermal amplification. In magnetically assisted assays, the magnetic substrates are removed by a magnet after the target conversion, and the signal can be monitored through stimuli-response release of signal reporters, enzymatic production of electroactive species, or target-induced generation of messenger DNA.

Abstract
H2 evolution is the reason for poor reversibility and limited cycle stability with Zn-metal anodes, and impedes practical application in aqueous zinc-ion batteries (AZIBs). Here, using a combined gas chromatography experiment and computation, it is demonstrated that H2 evolution primarily originates from solvated water, rather than free water without interaction with Zn2+ . Using linear sweep voltammetry (LSV) in salt electrolytes, H2 evolution is evidenced to occur at a more negative potential than zinc reduction because of the high overpotential against H2 evolution on Zn metal. The hypothesis is tested and, using a glycine additive to reduce solvated water, it is confirmed that H2 evolution and "parasitic" side reactions are suppressed on the Zn anode. This electrolyte additive is evidenced to suppress H2 evolution, reduce corrosion, and give a uniform Zn deposition in Zn|Zn and Zn|Cu cells. It is demonstrated that Zn|PANI (highly conductive polyaniline) full cells exhibit boosted electrochemical performance in 1 M ZnSO4 -3 M glycine electrolyte. It is concluded that this new understanding of electrochemistry of H2 evolution can be used for design of relatively low-cost and safe AZIBs for practical large-scale energy storage.

Abstract
The hydrodynamic method mimics the in vivo environment of the mechanical effect on cell stimulation, which not only modulates cell physiology but also shows excellent intracellular delivery ability. Herein, a hydrodynamic intracellular delivery system based on the gigahertz acoustic streaming (AS) effect is proposed, which presents powerful targeted delivery capabilities with high efficiency and universality. Results indicate that the range of cells with AuNR introduction is related to that of AS, enabling a tunable delivery range due to the adjustability of the AS radius. Moreover, with the assistance of AS, the organelle localization delivery of AuNRs with different modifications is enhanced. AuNRs@RGD is inclined to accumulate in the nucleus, while AuNRs@BSA tend to enter the mitochondria and AuNRs@PEGnK tend to accumulate in the lysosome. Finally, the photothermal effect is proved based on the large quantities of AuNRs introduced via AS. The abundant introduction of AuNRs under the action of AS can achieve rapid cell heating with the irradiation of a 785 nm laser, which has great potential in shortening the treatment cycle of photothermal therapy (PTT). Thereby, an efficient hydrodynamic technology in AuNR introduction based on AS has been demonstrated. The outstanding location delivery and organelle targeting of this method provides a new idea for precise medical treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND NAFLD has become the most common chronic liver disease worldwide. Human antigen R (HuR), an RNA-binding protein, is an important post-transcriptional regulator. HuR has been reported as a key player in regulating lipid homeostasis in the liver and adipose tissues by using tissue-specific HuR knockout mice. However, the underlying mechanism by which hepatocyte-specific HuR regulates hepatic lipid metabolism under metabolic stress remains unclear and is the focus of this study. METHODS Hepatocyte-specific HuR deficient mice (HuRhKO) and age-/gender-matched control mice, as well as long-noncoding RNA H19 knockout mice (H19-/-), were fed a Western Diet plus sugar water (WDSW). Hepatic lipid accumulation, inflammation and fibrosis were examined by histology, RNA transcriptome analysis, qRT-PCR, and Western blot analysis. Bile acid composition was measured using LC-MS/MS. RESULTS Hepatocyte-specific deletion of HuR not only significantly increased hepatic lipid accumulation by modulating fatty acid synthesis and metabolism but also markedly induced inflammation by increasing immune cell infiltration and neutrophil activation under metabolic stress. In addition, hepatic deficiency of HuR disrupted bile acid homeostasis and enhanced liver fibrosis. Mechanistically, HuR is a repressor of H19 expression. Analysis of a recently published dataset (GSE143358) identified H19 as the top-upregulated gene in liver-specific HuR knockout mice. Similarly, hepatocyte-specific deficiency of HuR dramatically induced the expression of H19 and sphingosine-1 phosphate receptor 2 (S1PR2), but reduced the expression of sphingosine kinase 2 (SphK2). WDSW-induced hepatic lipid accumulation was alleviated in H19-/- mice. Furthermore, the downregulation of H19 alleviated WDSW-induced NAFLD in HuRhKO mice. CONCLUSIONS HuR not only functions as an RNA binding protein to modulate post-transcriptional gene expression but also regulates H19 promoter activity. Hepatic HuR is an important regulator of hepatic lipid metabolism via modulating H19 expression.

Abstract
In traditional non-flammable electrolytes a trade-off always exists between non-flammability and battery performance. Previous research focused on reducing free solvents and forming anion-derived solid-electrolyte interphase. However, the contribution of solvated anions in boosting the stability of electrolyte has been overlooked. Here, we resolve this via introducing anions into Li+ solvation sheaths using anions with similar Gutmann donor number (DN) to that of solvents. Taking trimethyl phosphate fire-retardant (DN=23.0 kcal mol-1 ) and NO3 - (DN=22.2 kcal mol-1 ) as an example, NO3 - is readily involved in the Li+ solvation sheath and reduces the polarity of solvent. This results in boosted stability of electrolyte against Li. The developed non-flammable electrolyte has low viscosity, high ionic conductivity and is low cost. The reversibility of Li-Cu cell was improved to 99.49 % and the lifespan of practical LMBs was extended by >100 %.

Abstract
This study investigated the effect of L-PRF on promoting full-thickness skin grafting for the treatment of diabetic foot ulcer wounds and attempted to characterize the mechanism. In a retrospective study, we centrifugated 10-20 ml of venous blood at 1006.2 g for 20 min. The fibrin clot between the top oligocellular plasma layer and the bottom erythrocyte layer was extracted and directly used, without compression, to cover the wound after debridement. Patients who received L-PRF before skin grafting underwent surgery earlier than patients in the control group. Skin necrosis occurred in 7 patients (28%) in the L-PRF group and 16 (64%) in the control group. The difference was statistically significant, P < .05. The postoperative infection rate in the control group (56%) was significantly higher than that in the L-PRF group (24%), P < .05. During a mean follow-up of 1 year, ulcer recurrence occurred in 9 patients (36%) in the control group compared with 4 patients (16%) in the L-PRF group, P < .05. The final amputation rate was also higher in the control group (48%) than in the L-PRF group (20%). The difference is statistically significant, P < .05. The Maryland scale score and SF-36 score of the two groups of patients after treatment were significantly better than those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant (P < .05). The L-PRF group (94.80 ± 4.14) had better foot scores at the last follow-up after treatment than the control group (88.84 ± 5.22) (P < .05). The results showed that L-PRF played a positive role in the treatment of Wagner grade 4 ulcer gangrene with free full-thickness skin grafts.

Abstract
Objective: To understand the epidemiological characteristics of bacillary dysentery with multiple-onset in Henan province from 2005 to 2020. Methods: The reported cases of bacillary dysentery (including confirmed cases and clinically diagnosed cases) in Henan Province from January 2005 to December 2020 were collected through China's National Disease Supervision Information Management System. The main information included gender, age, home address, date of onset and date of diagnosis. The interval between two episodes of the same case was more than 15 days, which was judged as two episodes. The incidence characteristics of bacillary dysentery patients with two or more cases in Henan Province from 2005 to 2020 were analyzed, and the regional distribution map of cases was drawn using ArcGIS software. Results: From 2005 to 2020, a total of 250 430 cases of bacillary dysentery were reported in Henan Province, with a cumulative incidence rate of 228.66/100 000. There were 2 342 cases with two or more attacks. The incidence of recurrent cases of bacillary dysentery increased year by year (χ2trend=2 932.28, P<0.001). There was no significant difference in the incidence of two or more cases of different sexes (χ2=0.39, P=0.540). There was significant difference in the incidence among different age groups (χ2=438.40, P<0.001). The incidence of two or more cases in the 60-69 age group was relatively high (1.70%). The shortest time interval between the onset of the disease was 16 days, and the longest was 5 579 days, with M (Q1, Q3) about 428 (237, 843) days. Compared with healthy people, those with a history of bacterial diseases had a higher risk of developing bacillary dysentery (RR: 4.12, 95%CI: 3.95‒4.29). Conclusion: The proportion of patients with multiple-onset shows an increasing trend, and there is an age difference.

Abstract
Zinc-ion batteries (ZIBs) feature high safety, low cost, environmental-friendliness, and promising electrochemical performance, and are therefore regarded as a potential technology to be applied in large-scale energy storage devices. However, ZIBs still face some critical challenges and bottlenecks. The electrolyte is an essential component of batteries and its properties affect the mass transport, energy storage mechanisms, reaction kinetics, and side reactions of ZIBs. The adjustment of electrolyte formulas usually has direct and obvious impacts on the overall output and performance. In this review, advanced electrolyte strategies are overviewed for optimizing the compatibility between cathode materials and electrolytes, inhibiting anode corrosion and dendrite growth, extending electrochemical stability windows, enabling wearable applications, and enhancing temperature tolerance. The underlying scientific mechanisms, electrolyte design principles, and recent progress are presented to provide a better understanding and inspiration to readers. In addition, a comprehensive perspective about electrolyte design and engineering for ZIBs is included.

Abstract
Background At present, the incidence of alcoholic fatty liver disease (AFLD) is increasing year by year, and numerous studies have confirmed that liver diseases are closely related to intestinal flora. Seabuckthorn and Astragalus membranaceus, as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) with the homology of medicine and food, have good liver protection, and their polysaccharides can regulate the intestinal flora. Here, we studied the effects of HRP, APS and the combination of the two polysaccharides on the intestinal flora of AFLD mice, which provided scientific basis for the treatment of AFLD with the two polysaccharides. Materials and methods Thirty Kunming (KM) mice were randomly divided into the control group (Con), the model group (Mod), the HRP treatment group (HRP), the APS treatment group (APS), and HRP+APS treatment group (HRP+APS), with six mice in each group. The AFLD model was constructed by continuous intragastric administration of 42% vol Niulanshan ethanol solution for 28 days, and the mice in each polysaccharide group were given corresponding drugs. The levels of AST, ALT, TC and TG in serum of mice were measured. 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing technique was used to determine the diversity and richness of intestinal flora, and the relative abundance of intestinal flora at phylum level and genus level of the mice in each group. Results HRP, APS and HRP+APS could reduce the serum levels of AST, ALT, TC and TG in mice. In addition, HRP, APS and HRP + APS restored the diversity, relative abundance and community structure of intestinal mucosa bacteria in AFLD mice to a certain extent. Specifically, HRP, APS and HRP+APS remarkably decreased the ratio of Firmicutes to Bacteroidetes, and ultimately increased the abundance of beneficial bacteria and reduced the abundance of pathogenic bacteria. Conclusion HRP, APS, and HRP+APS can improve the intestinal microecology of AFLD model mice, alleviate liver injury, and maintain normal intestinal function in different degrees.

Abstract
Natural products derived from microorganisms serve as a vital resource of valuable pharmaceuticals and therapeutic agents. Streptomyces is the most ubiquitous bacterial genus in the environments with prolific capability to produce diverse and valuable natural products with significant biological activities in medicine, environments, food industries, and agronomy sectors. However, many natural products remain unexplored among Streptomyces. It is exigent to develop novel antibiotics, agrochemicals, anticancer medicines, etc., due to the fast growth in resistance to antibiotics, cancer chemotherapeutics, and pesticides. This review article focused the natural products secreted by Streptomyces and their function and importance in curing diseases and agriculture. Moreover, it discussed genomic-driven drug discovery strategies and also gave a future perspective for drug development from the Streptomyces.

Abstract
Lupus nephritis (LN) has a high incidence in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients, but there is a lack of sensitive predictive markers. The purpose of the study was to investigate the association between the CD4 +CD8 + double positive T (DPT) lymphocytes and LN. The study included patients with SLE without renal impairment (SLE-NRI), LN, nephritic syndrome (NS), or nephritis. Peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets were analyzed by flow cytometry. Biochemical measurements were performed with peripheral blood in accordance with the recommendations proposed by the National Center for Clinical Laboratories. The proportions of DPT cells in the LN group were significantly higher than that in the SLE-NRI group ( t=4.012, P<0.001), NS group ( t=3.240, P=0.001), and nephritis group ( t=2.57, P=0.011). In the LN group, the risk of renal impairment increased significantly in a DPT cells proportion-dependent manner. The risk of LN was 5.136 times (95% confidence interval, 2.115-12.473) higher in cases with a high proportion of DPT cells than those whose proportion of DPT cells within the normal range. These findings indicated that the proportion of DPT cells could be a potential marker to evaluate LN susceptibility, and the interference of NS and nephritis could be effectively excluded when assessing the risk of renal impairment during SLE with DPT cell proportion.

Abstract
Background Research has revealed that Plexin domain containing 1 (PLXDC1) is correlated with the prognosis of a variety of tumors, but its role in the tumor microenvironment (TME) of gastric cancer has not been reported. Methods In this study, we analyzed PLXDC1 expression in gastric cancer using the Oncomine and the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) databases and immunohistochemical staining experiments, and performed prognostic assessment with data from the TCGA and Kaplan–Meier Plotter databases. The immunomodulatory role of PLXDC1 in the gastric cancer TME was analyzed by signaling pathway enrichment, immune cell correlation analysis, immunomodulator risk model construction and immunohistochemical staining experiments of immune cells. Results The results indicated that PLXDC1 was overexpressed in gastric cancer and that its overexpression was associated with poor prognosis. Multivariate Cox analysis revealed that PLXDC1 could be an independent biomarker of the risk of gastric cancer. Signaling pathway enrichment revealed that high PLXDC1 expression was involved in signaling pathways related to immune activation and stromal activation, and Tumor Immune Dysfunction and Exclusion (TIDE) assessment indicated that high PLXDC1 expression was associated with a significantly higher risk of immune evasion than low PLXDC1 expression. A Cox risk model based on PLXDC1-associated immunomodulators also presented poor prognosis, and immune evasion was significantly higher in the high-risk group than in the low-risk group. In addition, immunohistochemical staining of CD8/CD3/CD4+ T cells in the high and low PLXDC1 expression groups also observed immune cell distribution characteristics of immune evasion. Conclusion This study analyzed PLXDC1 from multiple biological perspectives and revealed that PLXDC1 can be a biomarker for poor prognosis and immune evasion in gastric cancer.
