Abstract
A dual photoredox/cobalt-catalyzed protocol for chemo-, regio-, diastereo- and enantioselective reductive coupling of 1,1-disubstituted allenes and cyclobutenes through chemo-, regio-, diastereo- and enantioselective oxidative cyclization followed by stereoselective protonation promoted by a chiral phosphine-cobalt complex is presented. Such process represents an unprecedented reaction pathway for cobalt catalysis that enables selective transformation of the less sterically congested alkenes of 1,1-disubstituted allenes with cyclobutenes, incorporating a broad scope of tetrasubstituted alkenes into the cyclobutane scaffolds in up to 86 % yield, >98 : 2 chemo- and regioselectivity, >98 : 2 dr and >99.5:0.5 er. Functionalization delivered a variety of enantioenriched cyclobutanes that are otherwise difficult to access. Preliminary mechanistic studies revealed that the reactions proceeded through oxidative cyclization followed by protonation and protonation might be the rate-determining step.

Abstract
The diastereoselective double carbometalation reaction of cyclopropenes provides, in a single-pot operation, two ω-ene-[1,1]-bicyclopropyl ester derivatives. One regioisomer then undergoes a Pd-catalyzed addition of aryl iodide to provide skipped dienes possessing several distant stereocenters including two congested quaternary carbon centers with excellent diastereoselectivity.

Abstract
A highly regio- and diastereoselective nucleophilic substitution at the quaternary carbon stereocenter of cyclopropyl ketones and cyclopropyl carbinol derivatives using TMSBr, DMPSCl and TMSN3 as nucleophiles has been developed. A variety of acyclic tertiary alkyl bromides, chlorides and azides were therefore prepared with excellent diastereopurity. The substitution occurs at the most substituted quaternary carbon center in a stereoinvertive manner, which may be attributed to the existence of a bicyclobutonium species.

Abstract
A regio- and diastereoselective copper-catalyzed carbomagnesiation of 1,2-dialkylated cyclopropenes is reported. The regioselectivity is controlled by a subtle tethered Lewis basic moiety. The chelating moieties allow the differentiation between two electronically tantamount organometallic intermediates. Further functionalization grants access to polysubstituted stereodefined cyclopropanes bearing up to five alkyl groups.

Abstract
We report herein a radical-mediated amination of cyclopropenes. The transformation proceeds through a cleavage of the three-membered ring after the addition of an azide radical on the strained double bond and leads to tetrasubstituted alkenyl nitrile derivatives upon loss of N2 . With 1,2-diaryl substituted cyclopropenes, this methodology could be extended to a one-pot synthesis of highly functionalized polycyclic aromatic compounds (PACs). This transformation allows the synthesis of nitrile-substituted alkenes and aromatic compounds from rapidly accessed cyclopropenes using only commercially available reagents.

Abstract
The preparation of acyclic molecules featuring congested stereocenters in a 1,4-relationship in only three catalytic steps from commercially available building blocks is reported. This approach involves a diastereoselective diboration of alkenyl cyclopropyl methanol derivatives followed by a regioselective exergonic ring fragmentation. The starting materials can be prepared enantiomerically enriched and all substituents can be interconverted, therefore, this strategy allows a large variety of diversely functionalized allylboronic esters possessing distant tetrasubstituted stereocenters with high diastereoselectivity.

Abstract
A novel and unusual palladium-catalyzed [4+2] annulation of cyclopropenes with benzosilacyclobutanes is reported. This reaction occurred through chemoselective Si-C(sp2 ) bond activation in synergy with ring expansion/insertion of cyclopropenes to form new C(sp2 )-C(sp3 ) and Si-C(sp3 ) bonds. An array of previously elusive bicyclic skeleton with high strain, silabicyclo[4.1.0]heptanes, were formed in good yields with excellent diastereoselectivity under mild conditions. An asymmetric version of the reaction with a chiral phosphoramidite ligand furnished a variety of chiral bicyclic silaheterocycle derivatives with good enantioselectivity (up to 95.5:4.5 er). Owing to the mild reaction conditions, the good stereoselectivity profile, and the ready availability of the functionalized precursors, this process constitutes a useful and straightforward strategy for the synthesis of densely functionalized silacycles.
