Abstract
A copper-catalyzed three-component coupling reaction has been developed allowing the rapid building of valuable complex highly functionalized β-polychloromethyl amines from simple styrenes, arylamines, and dichloromethane/chloroform. Using aryldiazonium salts as a radical initiator, a series of corresponding products are obtained with moderate to good yields under a carbon dioxide or nitrogen atmosphere (50 psi). In addition, good functional group tolerance can be observed.

Abstract
Radical-mediated difunctionalization of alkenes provides a promising approach to introduce one alkenyl or alkynyl group to target compounds. However, simultaneous installation of two unsaturated C-C bonds via alkene difunctionalization remains elusive, attributable to the high instability and transient lifetimes of alkenyl and alkynyl radicals. Herein, we report the photocatalytic 1,2-alkynylalkenylation and 1,2-enynylalkenylation of alkenes for the first time, triggered by the intermolecular addition of a stabilized allenyl radical to an alkene. A portfolio of strategically designed, easily accessible dual-function reagents are applied to a radical docking-migration cascade. The protocol has broad substrate scope and efficiently increases the degree of unsaturation.

Abstract
A three-component 1,2-aminoarylation of vinyl ethers, enamides, ene-carbamates and vinyl thioethers by synergistic photoredox and nickel catalysis is reported. 2,2,2-Trifluoroethoxy carbonyl protected α-amino-oxy acids are used as amidyl radical precursors. anti-Markovnikov addition of the amidyl radical to the alkene and Ni-mediated radical/transition metal cross over lead to the corresponding 1,2-aminoarylation product. The radical cascade, which can be conducted under practical and mild conditions, features high functional group tolerance and broad substrate scope. Stereoselective 1,2-aminoarylation is achieved using a L-(+)-lactic acid derived vinyl ether as the substrate, offering a novel route for the preparation of protected enantiopure α-arylated β-amino alcohols. In addition, 1,2-aminoacylation of vinyl ethers is achieved by using an acyl succinimide as the electrophile for the Ni-mediated radical coupling.

Abstract
The construction of C-N bonds by free radical reactions represents a powerful synthetic approach for direct C-H amidations of arenes or heteroarenes. Developing efficient and more environmentally friendly synthetic methods for C-H amidation reactions remains highly desirable. Herein, metal-free electrochemical oxidative dehydrogenative C-H amidations of heteroarenes with N-alkylsulfonamides have been accomplished. The catalyst- and chemical-oxidant-free C-H amidation features an ample scope and employs electricity as the green and sole oxidant. A variety of heteroarenes, including indoles, pyrroles, benzofuran and benzothiophene, thereby underwent this C(sp2 )-H nitrogenation. Cyclic voltammetry studies and control experiments provided evidence for nitrogen-centered radicals being directly generated under metal-free electrocatalysis.

Abstract
An intermolecular, two-component vicinal carboimination of alkenes has been accomplished by energy transfer catalysis. Oxime esters of alkyl carboxylic acids were used as bifunctional reagents to generate both alkyl and iminyl radicals. Subsequently, addition of the alkyl radical to an alkene generates a transient radical for selective radical-radical cross-coupling with the persistent iminyl radical. Furthermore, this process provides direct access to aliphatic primary amines and α-amino acids by simple hydrolysis.

Abstract
This report details the development of a masked N-centered radical strategy that harvests the energy of light to drive the conversion of cyclopropylimines to 1-aminonorbornanes. This process employs the N-centered radical character of a photoexcited imine to facilitate the homolytic fragmentation of the cyclopropane ring and the subsequent radical cyclization sequence that forms two new C-C bonds en route to the norbornane core. Achieving bond-forming reactivity as a function of the N-centered radical character of an excited state Schiff base is unique, requiring only violet light in this instance. This methodology operates in continuous flow, enhancing the potential to translate beyond the academic sector. The operational simplicity of this photochemical process and the structural novelty of the (hetero)aryl-fused 1-aminonorbornane products are anticipated to provide a valuable addition to discovery efforts in pharmaceutical and agrochemical industries.
