Abstract
An unclassical structure of {Ru(C6 H6 )}-based polyoxometalate, Cs6 H4 [Te2 Mo12 O46 {Ru(C6 H6 )}] ⋅ 16.5H2 O (1), has been successfully constructed from {Te2 Mo12 O46 }-type heteropolymolybdate and {Ru(C6 H6 )} group, which structure type was discovered for the first time. Compound 1 not only possesses strong light-harvesting ability, but also exhibits high carrier separation efficiency and lower charge transfer resistance. Under visible light irradiation, compound 1 displayed excellent catalytic activity and circularity in the conversion of benzyl alcohol to benzaldehyde (yield=94 %; turnover number=500; turnover frequency=20.8 h-1 ). Finally, the electron paramagnetic resonance measurement and energy level matching analysis provide theoretical basis for the derivation of the reaction mechanism.

Abstract
The multistep proton-coupled electron transfer (PCET) processes are beneficial for products distribution and selectivity of the electrocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction (CO2RR), which are affected by the nature of the catalyst and electrolyte at electrode-electrolyte interface. Polyoxometalates (POMs) are electron regulators of PCET processes, which can catalyze CO2RR effectively. Accordingly, the commercial indium electrodes are combined in this work with a series of Keggin-type POMs (PVnMo(12-n)O40)(n+3)-, n = 1, 2, 3) to process CO2RR with Faradaic efficiency toward ethanol reaching 93.4% at -0.3 V (vs. RHE). The cyclic voltammetry and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy results reveal the activation of CO2 molecules by the first PCET process of the VⅤ/Ⅳ in POM. Subsequently, the PCET process of MoⅥ/Ⅴ results the oxidation of the electrode, causing the loss of In0 active sites. Electrochemical in-situ infrared spectroscopy confirms the weak adsorption of *CO at the later stage of electrolysis due to the oxidation of the In0 active sites. The indium electrode in PV3Mo9 system retains more In0 active sites owing to the highest V-substitution ratio, thereby ensuring a high adsorption ratio of *CO and CC coupling. In sum, the regulation of the interface microenvironment by POM electrolyte additives can be used to boost the performance of CO2RR.

Abstract
Carbon monoxide dehydrogenase (CODH) enzymes are active for the reversible CO oxidation-CO2 reduction reaction and are of interest in the context of CO2 abatement and carbon-neutral solar fuels. Bioinspired by the active-site composition of the CODHs, polyoxometalates triply substituted with first-row transition metals were modularly synthesized. The polyanions, in short, {SiM3 W9 } and {SiM'2 M''W9 }, M, M', M''=CuII , NiII , FeIII are shown to be electrocatalysts for reversible CO oxidation-CO2 reduction. A catalytic Tafel plot showed that {SiCu3 W9 } was the most reactive for CO2 reduction, and electrolysis reactions yielded significant amounts of CO with 98 % faradaic efficiency. In contrast, Fe-Ni compounds such as {SiFeNi2 W9 } preferably catalyzed the oxidation of CO to CO2 similar to what is observed for the [NiFe]-CODH enzyme. Compositional control of the heterometal complexes, now and in the future, leads to control of reactivity and selectivity for CO2 electrocatalytic reduction.

Abstract
The first example of Rh-substituted organic-inorganic hybrid arsenotungstate [H2N(CH3)2]8{[Na(H2O)4]NaAs2W22(CH3COO)2O76 Rh2(N(CH3)2)2}·H2O (1) synthesised in an aqueous solution by the conventional method is reported. Abstract
Half a century ago, F. Albert Cotton emphasized the relevance of metal-metal bonding in the constitution of cluster materials. Based on his description, nanoscale polyoxometalates (POMs) normally would not be regarded as cluster materials. One reason is that metal-metal bonding is typically associated with inorganic systems featuring metal centres in low oxidation states, a feature that is not common for POMs. However, over the past decades, there have been increasing reports on POMs integrating different types of metal-metal bonding. This article conceptualises and reviews the area of metal-metal bonded POMs, and their preparation and physicochemical properties. Attention is given to the changes in the electronic structure of POMs, the emergence of covalent dynamics and its impact on the development of applications in catalysis, nanoswitches, donor-acceptor systems, electron storage materials and nanoelectronics (i.e., "POMtronics").

Owing to unrivaled versatility and structural variation, POMs have been extensively utilized for catalysis for a plethora of reactions. In this focused review, the applications of POMs as promising catalysts or co-catalysts for CO2 conversion, including CO2 photo/electro reduction and CO2 as a carbonyl source for the carbonylation process are summarized. A brief perspective on the potentiality in this field is proposed.
