Abstract
Early detection and diagnosis of many cancers is very challenging. Late stage detection of a cancer always leads to high mortality rates. It is imperative to develop novel and more sensitive and effective diagnosis and therapeutic methods for cancer treatments. The development of new cancer treatments has become a crucial aspect of medical advancements. Nanobots, as one of the most promising applications of nanomedicines, are at the forefront of multidisciplinary research. With the progress of nanotechnology, nanobots enable the assembly and deployment of functional molecular/nanosized machines and are increasingly being utilized in cancer diagnosis and therapeutic treatment. In recent years, various practical applications of nanobots for cancer treatments have transitioned from theory to practice, from in vitro experiments to in vivo applications. In this paper, we review and analyze the recent advancements of nanobots in cancer treatments, with a particular emphasis on their key fundamental features and their applications in drug delivery, tumor sensing and diagnosis, targeted therapy, minimally invasive surgery, and other comprehensive treatments. At the same time, we discuss the challenges and the potential research opportunities for nanobots in revolutionizing cancer treatments. In the future, medical nanobots are expected to become more sophisticated and capable of performing multiple medical functions and tasks, ultimately becoming true nanosubmarines in the bloodstream.

Abstract
Targeted drug delivery using micro-nano robots (MNRs) is a rapidly advancing and promising field in biomedical research. MNRs enable precise delivery of drugs, addressing a wide range of healthcare needs. However, the application of MNRs in vivo is limited by power issues and specificity in different scenarios. Additionally, the controllability and biological safety of MNRs must be considered. To overcome these challenges, researchers have developed bio-hybrid micro-nano motors that offer improved accuracy, effectiveness, and safety for targeted therapies. These bio-hybrid micro-nano motors/robots (BMNRs) use a variety of biological carriers, blending the benefits of artificial materials with the unique features of different biological carriers to create tailored functions for specific needs. This review aims to give an overview of the current progress and application of MNRs with various biocarriers, while exploring the characteristics, advantages, and potential hurdles for future development of these bio-carrier MNRs.

Abstract
By bending a straight carbon nanotube and bonding both ends of the nanotube, a nanoring (or nano-wheel) is produced. The nanoring system can be driven to rotate by fixed outer nanotubes at room temperature. When placing some atoms at the edge of each outer tube (the stator here) with inwardly radial deviation (IRD), the IRD atoms will repulse the nanoring in their thermally vibration-induced collision and drive the nanoring to rotate when the repulsion due to IRD and the friction with stators induce a non-zero moment about the axis of rotational symmetry of the ring. As such, the nanoring can act as a wheel in a nanovehicle. When the repulsion is balanced with the intertubular friction, a stable rotational frequency (SRF) of the rotor is achieved. The results from the molecular dynamics simulation demonstrate that the nanowheel can work at extremely low temperature and its rotational speed can be adjusted by tuning temperature.

Abstract
Over millions of years, Nature has optimized the motion of biological systems at the micro and nanoscales. Motor proteins to motile single cells have managed to overcome Brownian motion and solve several challenges that arise at low Reynolds numbers. In this review, we will briefly describe naturally motile systems and their strategies to move, starting with a general introduction that surveys a broad range of developments, followed by an overview about the physical laws and parameters that govern and limit motion at the microscale. We characterize some of the classes of biological microswimmers that have arisen in the course of evolution, as well as the hybrid structures that have been constructed based on these, ranging from Montemagno's ATPase motor to the SpermBot. Thereafter, we maintain our focus on bacteria and their biohybrids. We introduce the inherent properties of bacteria as a natural microswimmer and explain the different principles bacteria use for their motion. We then elucidate different strategies that have been employed for the coupling of a variety of artificial microobjects to the bacterial surface, and evaluate the different effects the coupled objects have on the motion of the "biohybrid." Concluding, we give a short overview and a realistic evaluation of proposed applications in the field.

Abstract
In this review we will focus on how magnetic fields can be used to manipulate the motion of various micro- and nanostructures in solution. We will distinguish between ferromagnetic, paramagnetic and diamagnetic materials. Furthermore, the use of various kinds of magnetic fields, such as homogeneous, inhomogeneous and rotating magnetic fields, is discussed. To date most research has focused on the use of ferro- and paramagnetic materials, but here we also describe the possibilities of magnetic manipulation of diamagnetic materials. Since the vast majority of soft matter is diamagnetic, this paves the way for many new applications to manipulate the motion of micro- and nanostructures.

Abstract
We report fuel generation systems for molecular motors based on pyruvate kinase, or for the first time, mitochondria, implemented within microfluidic devices. Intact organelles acted as bio-nanopower supplies for molecular motors, using isolated mitochondria to convert chemical energy from succinate to ATP, harnessing nature's enzymatic transformation cascades directly. Motors were activated essentially equally by ATP produced by pyruvate kinase, mitochondria, or direct addition of ATP.
