Abstract
Pyrroles are widely spread worldwide because of their critical applications, especially pharmacology. An expedition method for one-pot synthesis of N-substituted pyrrole derivatives has been presented by a reaction between 2,5-dimethoxytetrahydrofuran and various primary aromatic amines in the presence of NiFe2O4 anchored to modified carbon hollow microspheres (NiFe2O4@MCHMs) as a recoverable reactive catalyst. The Classon-Kass method has been used to synthesize the pyrroles in excellent yields and short reaction times in the same direction with green chemistry rules. This reaction was carried out by employing NiFe2O4@MCHMs as a catalyst to make a simple procedure with short activation energy in water as an accessible, non-toxic, and biodegradable solvent. This catalyst provides a promising pathway to synthesize N-substituted pyrroles several times in a row through the recyclability without remarkable loss of its catalytic activity. The NiFe2O4@MCHMs nanocatalyst was characterized by applying FT-IR, XRD, FE-SEM, TEM, EDS, BET, TGA, VSM, and elemental mapping techniques. Also, the synthesized N-substituted pyrrole derivatives were identified using melting point, FT-IR, and 1H NMR analyses.

Abstract
The intriguing features of surface-engineered hexagonal two-dimensional boron nitride (h-BN) nanostructures have captivated the immense interest of researchers working in the arena of materials science. Inspired by striking attributes exhibited by h-BN nanosheets as the support material, we devoted our efforts towards synthesizing a novel magnetically retrievable h-BN/Fe3O4/APTES-AMF/CuII catalytic system, which was then comprehensively characterized using various techniques including SEM, TEM, EDX, SEM-based elemental mapping, ED-XRF, AAS, XRD, FT-IR, VSM, XPS, TGA, and BET. Further, the catalytic potential of h-BN/Fe3O4/APTES-AMF/CuII nanocomposites was investigated in the one-pot multicomponent coupling reaction to gain access to a library of biologically active 2-amino-4-aryl(or heteroaryl)-7,7-dimethyl-5-oxo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-4H-chromene-3-carbonitriles under ambient conditions. In addition, the use of green solvent, facile magnetic recoverability, and reusability of up to six successive runs made this protocol environmentally benign and economical. This work throws light on the development of covalently functionalized 2D-BN nanostructure-based copper catalysts and establishes its significance in furnishing industrially demanding products that would pave the way towards sustainable chemistry.

Abstract
In this work, magnetic poly(aniline-co-melamine) nanocomposite as an efficient heterogeneous polymer-based nanocatalyst was fabricated in two steps. First, poly(aniline-co-melamine) was synthesized through the chemical oxidation by ammonium persulfate, then the magnetic nanocatalyst was successfully prepared from the in-situ coprecipitation method in the presence of poly(aniline-co-melamine). The resulting poly(aniline-co-melamine)@MnFe2O4 was characterized by FTIR, FESEM, XRD, VSM, EDX, TGA, and UV-vis analyses. The catalytic activity of poly(aniline-co-melamine)@MnFe2O4 was investigated in the synthesis of 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazole-5-ol) derivatives, and new alkylene bridging bis 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazole-5-ol) derivatives in excellent yields. The yield of 1,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazoles, 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazol-5-ol), yields, and new alkylene bridging bis 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazol-5-ol) derivatives were obtained 89%–96%, 90%–96%, and 92%–96%, respectively. The poly(aniline-co-melamine)@MnFe2O4 nanocatalyst can be recycled without pre-activation and reloaded up to five consecutive runs without a significant decrease in its efficiency. In addition, the antioxidant activity of some derivatives was evaluated by DPPH assay. Results showed that the maximum antioxidant activity of 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazole-5-ol) derivatives and 1,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazoles were 75% and 90%, respectively. Furthermore, 4,4′-(arylmethylene)bis(1H-pyrazole-5-ol) derivatives and 1,4-dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazoles showed good potential for destroying colon cancer cell lines. Consequently, the poly(aniline-co-melamine)@MnFe2O4 nanocomposite is an excellent catalyst for green chemical processes owing to its high catalytic activity, stability, and reusability.

Abstract
In this work, a green and cost-effective method based on halloysite as natural catalyst for the synthesis of α-amino nitriles via Strecker three-component reaction is introduced. The chemical and physical structure of natural halloysite has characterized thoroughly, and then the effect of different parameters such as the amount of catalyst, solvent, and temperature was optimized in the synthesis of 2-phenyl-2-(phenylamino)acetonitrile as the model reaction. Then, various substituted benzaldehydes and anilines were converted to the desired α-amino nitriles under the optimized conditions. Electronic properties of substituents on aldehydes and aromatic amines have been affected the reaction efficiency. For all substrates, good to excellent yields of the corresponding α-amino nitriles were obtained under solvent-free conditions at room temperature. The catalyst has been recovered and reused five times in successive Strecker reaction.

Assessment of catalytic and antibacterial activity of biocompatible agar supported ZnS/CuFe 2O 4 magnetic nanotubes. Sci Rep 2022; 12:4503. Abstract
The tubular magnetic agar supported ZnS/CuFe2O4 nanocomposite was fabricated via a simple procedure. Next, various properties of this nanocomposite were studied by employing multiple characterization techniques including FT-IR, EDX, SEM, TEM,VSM, XRD, and TGA. Then, the catalytic and antibacterial applications were evaluated for the fabricated nanocomposite. Based on the experimental result, the nanocomposite showed excellent catalytic activity to promote the multicomponent reaction between ethyl acetoacetate, hydrazine hydrate, aromatic aldehydes, and malononitrile to synthesize a variety of dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole derivatives with high yields (89–95%) in acceptable reaction times (20–40 min) under mild reaction conditions. It can be efficiently recycled and re-work in six consequent runs without notable reduction in catalytic productiveness. Furthermore, its antibacterial activity was assessed against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and Escherichia coli (E. coli) bacteria by the agar diffusion and plate-count methods. These results indicate that the width of the inhibition zone around the S. aureus (G+ bacterium) is more than that of E. coli (G− bacterium). Moreover, the agar supported ZnS/CuFe2O4 nanocomposite exhibited strong prevention of the bacterial colonies’ growth.

Abstract
In this article we report a novel Ag NPs fabricated chitosan-agarose composite functionalized core-shell type Fe3O4 nanoparticle (Ag/CS-Agar@Fe3O4). The biogenic material was analyzed over a number of physicochemical methods like, FT-IR, FE-SEM, TEM, EDX, XRD, VSM and ICP-OES. In catalytic exploration we aimed the synthesis of diverse 2H-indazolo0-b]phthalazine-trione derivatives via one-pot three component coupling of phathalalhydrazide, dimedone and different aldehydes. It afforded good to excellent yields under solvent-less conditions. Robustness of the catalyst was justified by catalyst recyclability for consecutive 10 times, hot filtration and leaching tests. Again, biological activity of the material was evaluated by studying the antioxidant and cytotoxicity properties over lung and liver cancer cell lines. Antioxidant potential of Ag/CS-Agar@Fe3O4 was assessed by DPPH radical scavenging studies and the corresponding IC50 was found to be 96.57 μg/mL. Liver and lung cancer studies over Ag/CS-Agar@Fe3O4 was carried out by MTT assay against HepG2 and A549 cell lines. The corresponding IC50 values were found as 192.35 and 365.28 μg/mL respectively. % Cell viability of the nanomaterial decreased dose dependently over both the cell lines without any cytotoxicity on normal cell line. The results demonstrates Ag/CS-Agar@Fe3O4 nanocomposite to be an efficient chemotherapeutic drug against the lung and hepatocellular carcinoma cells.

Abstract
Recently magnetic nanocatalyst has attracted considerable attention because of its unique properties, including high performance, easy separation from the reaction mixture, and recyclability. In this study, a novel magnetic bionanocomposite was synthesized with chitosan and tannic acid as a natural material. The synthesized bionanocatalyst was characterized by essential analysis. Fe3O4@chitosan-tannic acid as a heterogeneous nanocatalyst was successfully applied to synthesize pyranopyrazole and its derivatives by a one-pot four-component reaction of malononitrile, ethyl acetoacetate, hydrazine hydrate, and various aromatic aldehyde. At the end of the reaction, the nanocatalyst was separated from the reaction mixture and was reused several times with no significant decrease in its catalytic performance. Simple purification of products, the ability for recovering and reusing the nanocatalyst, eco-friendliness, high yields of pure products, mild reaction conditions, short reaction time, non-toxicity, economically affordable are some of the advantages of using the fabricated nanocatalyst in the synthesis of pyranopyrazole.

Abstract
In this study, a novel mesoporous nanocomposite was fabricated in several steps. In this regard, SBA-15 was prepared by the hydrothermal method, next it was magnetized by in-situ preparation of Fe3O4 MNPs. After that, the as-prepared SBA-15/Fe3O4 functionalized with 3-minopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) via post-synthesis approach. Then, the guanidinylated SBA-15/Fe3O4 was obtained by nucleophilic addition of APTES@SBA-15/Fe3O4 to cyanimide. The prepared nanocomposite exhibited excellent catalytic activity in the synthesis of dihydropyrano[2,3-c]pyrazole derivatives which can be related to its physicochemical features such as strong basic sites (presented in guanidine group), Lewis acid site (presented in Fe3O4), high porous structure, and high surface area. The characterization of the prepared mesoporous nanocomposite was well accomplished by different techniques such as FT-IR, EDX, FESEM, TEM, VSM, TGA, XRD and BET. Furthermore, the magnetic catalyst was reused at least six consequent runs without considerable reduction in its catalytic activity.

Abstract
Magnetic nanoparticles have gained a great deal of attention from both academic and industrial
point of view, owing to their unique properties including high surface area, and superparamagnetism,
which enable them to be suitable for modification with many compounds and employing
them as a catalyst in organic reactions. In this mini-review, we have summarized the application of

Abstract
1,1′-(6-(Propyl amino)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4-diyl)bis(pyridinium) hydrogen sulfate immobillized on halloysite nanotubes [(PATDBP)(HSO4)2@HNT] as a solid acid nanocatalyst was successfully synthesized and characterized by various analysis techniques such as FT-IR, TGA, SEM/EDX, elemental mapping, TEM and elemental analysis. This catalyst was found to be highly efficient for the convenient synthesis of naphthopyranopyrimidine derivatives through a one-pot three-component reaction of β-naphthol, aldehydes and N,N-dimethylbarbituric acid in excellent yields under solvent-free conditions. Furthermore, the catalyst could be recovered and reused five times without any notable loss of its activity. A novel method for synthesis of naphthopyranopyrimidines, using [(PATDBP)(HSO4)2@HNT] as a green and reusable catalyst is reported.![]()

Abstract
Nanosized clay minerals have been widely used as efficient supports to immobilize catalyst nanoparticles. However, clay support-induced interactions and their influences on the catalyst structure and performance currently have not been fully understood. Here, Co3O4 nanoparticles supported on halloysite nanotubes (HNTs) were synthesized by a facile deposition-precipitation approach followed by thermal treatment. A series of characterization methods were employed for the Co3O4/HNTs hybrid nanostructure to identify its crystal phase, chemical composition, morphology, specific surface area, surface chemical states, and redox property. Characterization results showed that HNTs not only impacted the particle size of Co3O4 nanoparticles, but also modified surface chemical surface states of the later, which ultimately promoted the effective catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP) and azo dyes with sodium borohydride. The interaction between HNTs and Co3O4 nanoparticles was found to shorten the induction period of the 4-NP reduction. Meanwhile, the Co3O4/HNTs catalyst for the 4-NP reduction achieved an apparent rate constant of 0.265 min-1 and an activity parameter of 1.63 × 104 min-1 g-1 as well as a turnover frequency of 4.37 min-1. In addition, Co3O4/HNTs showed an improvement in reduction efficiency of the azo dyes when compared to bare Co3O4 nanoparticles.
