Abstract
Porous organic frameworks (POFs) have become a highly sought-after research domain that offers a promising avenue for developing cutting-edge nanostructured materials, both in their pristine state and when subjected to various chemical and structural modifications. Metal-organic frameworks, covalent organic frameworks, and hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks are examples of these emerging materials that have gained significant attention due to their unique properties, such as high crystallinity, intrinsic porosity, unique structural regularity, diverse functionality, design flexibility, and outstanding stability. This review provides an overview of the state-of-the-art research on base-stable POFs, emphasizing the distinct pros and cons of reticular framework nanoparticles compared to other types of nanocluster materials. Thereafter, the review highlights the unique opportunity to produce multifunctional tailoring nanoparticles to meet specific application requirements. It is recommended that this potential for creating customized nanoparticles should be the driving force behind future synthesis efforts to tap the full potential of this multifaceted material category.

A simple and efficient fluorescent probe (E)-4-bromo-2-((((5-methylfuran-2-yl)methyl)imino)methyl)phenol (BFMP) for the detection of Zn2+ ions was synthesized by the condensation of 5-methyl-furfurylamine and 5-bromosalicylaldehyde.

Abstract
In the current study, on the basis of 1,3,5-tris(2-methylimidazol-1-yl)benzene (timb), a designed tripodal connector, two new transition metal coordination polymers (CPs), {[Cu4(timb)2(Br-IPA)4]·5H2O}n (1) and {[Zn(timb)0.5(NH2-IPA)]·4H2O}n (2) have been generated with the mixed ligand method by the reaction between the timb and corresponding metal salts in the existence of dissimilar functional isophthalic acid (H2IPA) ligands. Furthermore, the Zn(II)-based complex 2 displays high sensitivity in the detection of Cu(II) ion in water. The neural stem cells proliferation after treated via compounds was detected with Cell Counting Kit-8 detection assay. And the real time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was carried out for the investigation of the differentiation function of the neural stem cells after the compound 1 treatment and compound 2 treatment. Further, molecular docking simulations confirmed that the biological activity that has been observed from experiments were from the carboxyl group on the Cu complex, in contrast, the imidazole groups were only used for binding with the Cu metal ion to retain the complex structure.

Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have received great attention in recent years as potential adsorbents for CO2 capture due to their unique properties. However, the high cost and their tedious synthesis procedures impede their industrial application. A series of new CO2-philic oxalamide-functionalized MOFs have been solvothermally synthesized: {[Zn3(μ8-OATA)1.5(H2O)2(DMF)]·5/2H2O·5DMF}n (Zn-OATA), {[NH2(CH3)2][Cd(μ4-HOATA)]·H2O·DMF}n (Cd-OATA), and {[Co2(μ7-OATA)(H2O)(DMF)2]·2H2O·3DMF}n (Co-OATA) (H4OATA = N,N'-bis(3,5-dicarboxyphenyl)oxalamide). In Zn-OATA, the [Zn2(CO2)4] SBUs are connected by OATA4- ligands into a 3D framework with 4-connected NbO topology. In Cd-OATA, two anionic frameworks with a dia topology interpenetrated each other to form a porous structure. In Co-OATA, [Co2(CO2)4] units are linked by four OATA4- to form a 3D framework with binodal 4,4-connected 42·84 PtS-type topology. Very interestingly, Cu-OATA can be prepared from Zn-OATA by a facile metal ions exchange procedure without damaging the structure while the CO2 adsorption ability can be largely enhanced when Zn(II) metal ions are exchanged to Cu(II). These new MOFs possess channels decorated by the CO2-philic oxalamide groups and accessible open metal sites, suitable for highly selective CO2 adsorption. Cu-OATA exhibits a significant CO2 adsorption capacity of 25.35 wt % (138.85 cm3/g) at 273 K and 9.84 wt % (50.08 cm3/g) at 298 K under 1 bar with isosteric heat of adsorption (Qst) of about 25 kJ/mol. Cu-OATA presents a very high selectivity of 5.5 for CO2/CH4 and 43.8 for CO2/N2 separation at 0.1 bar, 298 K. Cd-OATA exhibits a CO2 sorption isotherm with hysteresis that can be originated from structural rearrangements. Cd-OATA adsorbs CO2 up to 11.90 wt % (60.58 cm3/g) at 273 K and 2.26 wt % (11.40 cm3/g) at 298 K under 1 bar. Moreover, these new MOFs exhibit high stability in various organic solvents, water, and acidic or basic media. The present work opens a new opportunity in the development of improved and cost-effective MOF adsorbents for highly efficient CO2 capture.

Abstract
A new metal-organic framework (MOF) based on CoII ions as nodes, [Co2(H2O)3(cada)](DMF)4, which has coordinated water molecules at the occupied CoII sites along with a suitable pore environment, was constructed by reaction of 5,5′-(9H-carbazole-2,7-diyl)diisophthalic acid (H4cada) and Co(NO3)2·6H2O in a water and DMF mixed solvent. The resulting activated MOF 1ais able to uptake considerable amounts of CO2 at room temperature, and be further used for the efficient conversion of epoxides along with CO2 into cyclic carbonates under mild conditions without a co-catalyst. To control intra-hospital cross-infection in the Department of Ultrasound, the anti-bacterial activity of the compound was assessed in a systemic Staphylococcus aureus infection mouse model. The survival rate of systemic Staphylococcus aureus infected mice after compound treatment was determined to evaluate protective effect of the compound invivo. The number of colony-forming units (CFUs) in the organs of infected mice was also counted for further verification.

Abstract
In this study, a new Cd(II)-bearing coordination polymer with the chemical formula of {[Cd4(meda)3(dpe)4(H2O)4]·(NO3)2·2(H2O)}n (1, H2meda = 3,3'-methylenedibenzoic acid, dpe = 1,2-di(pyridin-4-yl)ethane) has been successfully prepared by reaction of Cd(NO3)·4H2O with a V-shape carboxyl ligand H2meda along with the linear dipyridine ligand dpe under the hydrothermal conditions. Due to its intensive luminescence, complex 1 could be utilized as the sensor of detecting Al3+ ion, and its detection limit is 4 × 10-6 M. Firstly, the toxicity of the compound on the normal liver cells was determined with Cell Counting Kit-8 detection kit. The triglyceride in liver cells was detected by detection kit after compound treatment and the relative expression of 15-lox and 12-lox in L02 cells was also measured by RT-PCR after compound treatment. In addition, multiple functional groups that provided by the synthesized Cd(II) complex have been studied by using molecular docking simulation for the confirmation of possible binding modes that formed between ligand and receptor.

Abstract
Two novel sulfonic functionalized coordination polymers (CPs) {[Cd1.5(dimb)(5-sip)(H2O)3]·3H2O}n (1, dimb = 1,4-di(1H-imidazol-1-yl)butane) and [Co2(iptz)(Hiptz)(5-sip)(H2O)]·4H2O (2, Hiptz = 1-(4-(1H-imidazole-5-yl)phenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole) were acquired via different metal(II) salts reacting with the mixed ligands containing 1-(4-(1H-imidazole-5-yl)phenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole, 1,4-di(1H-imidazol-1-yl)butane and sodium 5-sulfoisophthalate (NaH2sip), respectively. Furthermore, the complex 1 based on Cd(II) could be utilized as the luminescent senor for picric acid (PA) detection in water. In bio-research, compounds 1 and 2 treatment effect on chronic periodontitis was assessed and the specific mechanism was discussed. First of all, the RT-PCR was performed to measure the HmuY and fimA genes relative expression level in P.gingivalis after treated by compounds 1 and 2. Then, the TNF-α and IL-6 content in the fluid of gingival crevicular after compounds treatment was determined with ELISA detection kit.
