Abstract
The tribe-material is the key factor affecting the performance of triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs). Inorganic materials have higher heat resistance and stability than widely used organic materials. However, the weaker tribe-property limits the application of TENGs. Modulating surface roughness by changing particle shape and size is a simple way to increase performance for TENGs. Polyoxometalates (POMs) have unrivalled structural diversity and can self-assemble to form different nanostructures. In this study, we propose [{(NH4)42[Mo72 VIMo60 VO372(CH3COO)30 (H2O)72] ⋅ ca.300H2O ⋅ ca.CH3COONH4)}-Mo132] and [{Na8K14(VO)2[{(MoVI) (Mo5 VIO21)(H2O)3]}10{(MoVI)Mo5 VIO21(H2O)3 (SO4)}2{VIVO(H2O)20} {VIVO}10({KSO4}5)2] ⋅ 150H2O)}-Mo72V30] with blackberry structure which are cured and prepared into film by spin-coating technique, are used as positive tribe-materials for the first time in the field of TENGs. Keplerate-type POMs can form blackberry structures with higher dispersibility and flexibility, which can be used to control surface roughness by regulating the size of particles. The discovery proves that the particle size influences the surface roughness, which adjusts the output of TENGs. According to our findings, Mo132-h-TENG generates an output voltage of 29.3 V, an output charge of 8 Nc, which is 2-3 folds higher than Mo132-TENG, and a maximum power density of 6.25 mW ⋅ m-2 at 300 MΩ. Our research provides that altering the dimensional size can be an available way to raise the output of TENGs.

Abstract
Exploring a novel photocatalyst for catalytic oxidation of toluene is a sustainable strategy for energy conversion in times of an energy crisis. However, designing an effective photocatalyst for the conversion of toluene remains challenging. Herein, a novel organic monophosphonate-modified high nucleus Cu-incorporated polyoxotungstate, K8H33[{Cu0.5(H2O)4}{Cu2(O3PCH2COO)(1,4,9-α-P2W15O56)}]4·Cl·60H2O (1), has been intentionally synthesized by a self-assembly process utilizing conventional aqueous method. It reveals that 1 contains a polyanion of [{Cu0.5(H2O)}4{Cu2(O3PCH2COO)(1,4,9-α-P2W15O56)}]440- composed of four Dawson-type {1,4,9-α-P2W15} subunits, forming an oval-shaped structure and further connecting into a three-dimensional (3D) framework by lateral {Cu(H2O)4}2+. Interestingly, the trivacant {1,4,9-α-P2W15} subunits were observed in the organophosphonate acid-functionalized polyoxometalates for the first time. Notably, 1 exhibits a wonderful performance in catalytic oxidation of the recalcitrant C(sp3)-H bond of toluene to benzoic acid with a conversion as high as 97% under visible light utilizing O2 as an oxidant.

Abstract
The introduction of transition metal (TM) ions into polyoxometalates (POMs) cannot only bring about interesting structural diversities but also enable changes in properties. However, TM-containing Silverton-type polyoxomolybdates are still lacking in terms of structural diversity and application development. Herein, two Zn(II)-containing Silverton-type {UMo12O42}-based polyoxomolybdates, H1.89Na4.11(H2O)9Zn[UMo12O42]·4.5H2O (Zn-1) and H1.8Na4.2(H2O)12Zn[UMo12O42] (Zn-2) were hydrothermally synthesized, demonstrating a practical strategy to assembly of TM-containing Silverton-type POMs. Zn-1 is proven to be an excellent and recyclable heterogeneous catalyst in cross-dehydrogenation coupling of 1,4-naphthoquinones with amines reactions, and a series of 2-amino-1,4-naphthoquinones with potential medicinal value have been constructed.

Abstract
The uranyl ion (UO2)2+, a uranium nuclear waste, is one of the serious contaminants in our ecosystem because of its radioactivity, relevant human activities, and highly mobile and complex nature of living cells. In this article, we have reported the synthesis and structural characterization of an uranyl cation-incorporated polyoxometalate (POM) compound, K10[{K4(H2O)6}{UO2}2(α-PW9O34)2]·13H2O (1), in which the uranyl cations are complexed with an in situ generated [α-PW9O34]9- cluster. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction (SCXRD) analysis of compound 1 reveals that the uranyl-potassium complex cationic species, [{K4(H2O)6}{UO2}2]8+, is sandwiched by two [α-PW9O34]9- clusters resulting in a Dawson type of POM. Compound 1 was further characterized by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) analysis and infrared (IR), Raman, electronic absorption, and solid-state photoluminescence spectral studies. IR stretching vibrations at 895 and 856 cm-1 and the Raman signature peak at 792 cm-1 in the IR and Raman spectra of compound 1 primarily confirm the presence of a trans-[O═U═O]2+ ion. The solid-state photoluminescence spectrum of 1 exhibits a typical vibronic structure, resulting from symmetrical vibrations of [O═U═O]2+ bands, corresponding to the electronic transitions of S11 → S10 and S10 → S0υ (υ = 0-3). Interestingly, title compound 1 shows efficient electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution by water reduction with low Tafel slope values of 186.59 and 114.83 mV dec-1 at 1 mA cm-2 along with optimal Faradaic efficiency values of 82 and 87% at neutral pH and in acidic pH 3, respectively. Detailed electrochemical analyses reveal that the catalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) activity mediated by compound 1 is associated with the UVI/UV redox couple of the POM. The microscopic as well as routine spectral analyses of postelectrode samples and controlled experiments have confirmed that compound 1 behaves like a true molecular electrocatalyst for the HER. To our knowledge, this is the first paradigm of a uranium-containing polyoxometalate that exhibits electrocatalytic water reduction to molecular H2. In a nutshell, an environmental toxin (a uranium-oxo compound) has been demonstrated to be utilized as an efficient electrocatalyst for hydrogen generation from water, a green approach of sustainable energy production.

Abstract
Incorporating catalytic units into a crystalline porous matrix represents a facile way to build high-efficiency heterogeneous catalysts, and by rational design of the porous skeleton with appropriate building blocks the catalytic performance can be significantly enhanced for a series of organic transformations owing to the synergistic effect from the multicomponent and confined porous microenvironment around catalytically active sites. Herein, we demonstrate that the design and synthesis of a porous polyoxometalate-based metal-organic framework YL2(H2O)2[CrMo6O18(PET)2]·4H2O (POMOF-1) constructed from Anderson-type [CrMo6O18(PET)2] (PET = pentaerythritol), which can be employed as a multifunctional platform for synthesis of N-containing compounds via selective oxidative coupling with amines. POMOF-1 features microporous 1D channels defined by Y3+ and L, with [CrMo6O18(PET)2] arranged orderly between adjacent Lvia electrostatic interactions. Upon using POMOF-1 as a catalyst and H2O2 as an oxidant, a variety of amines could be effectively converted to value-added amides, imines and azobenzenes via the oxidative cross-coupling with alcohols or homo-coupling. In particular, POMOF-1 showed dramatically improved activity for the N-formylation reaction owing to the synergistic and confinement effect, with the yield of amides up to 95% and 4 times higher than that of homogeneous [CrMo6O18(PET)2]. Meanwhile, the oxidative homo-coupling of arylmethylamines and arylamines can be facilely tuned by adjustment of the amount of oxidant, solvent and additive, affording imines and azobenzenes in high selectivity and yield, respectively. POMOF-1 is robust and can be reused for 5 cycles with little loss of catalytic activity and structural integrity. The work demonstrates that the combination of catalytically active POMs with crystalline porous MOFs holds great potential to build robust and recyclable heterogeneous systems with enhanced activity and selectivity for multifunctional catalysis.

Abstract
As an economical conjugated polymer, graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4) has recently attracted much attention due to its exciting chemical and thermal stability and easy availability. Herein, we constructed a metal-coordinated graphitic carbon nitride (M–g-C3N4) catalyst through simple impregnation and calcination methods and used it as a new heterogeneous catalyst for the efficient synthesis of bis (indolyl) methanes and trisindolines under mild conditions. This reaction is performed efficiently in water as an environmentally friendly solvent at ambient conditions. The ZnMo7O24/g-C3N4 nanocomposite was synthesized by a simple method by immobilizing Mo7O24(NH4)6·4H2O and ZnCl2 on the surface of g-C3N4 under hydrothermal conditions. It was characterized by FT-IR, EDS, and electronic scanning microscopy (SEM). The metal doping of Mo and Zn on the surface of graphitic carbon nitride leads to the formation of a green catalyst that gives good to excellent yields of products in short reaction times with an easy working procedure. In addition, the ZnMo7O24/g-C3N4 catalyst could be reused at least five runs without apparent loss of efficiency.

Besides, 1-Eu exhibits excellent Lewis acid-base catalytic activity and reusablity in catalyzing the gram-scale dehydration condensation reaction of hydrazines and 1,3-diketones to synthesize polysubstituted pyrazoles.

Abstract
Three new polyoxometalate-based metal-organic frameworks (POMOFs) [Cu4(μ3-OH)2(tba)3(H2O)5(SiW12O40)0.5](H2SiW12O40)0.5·2.5H2O (CuSiW), [Cu3(μ3-OH)(tba)3(Htba)(H2O)2(HPMo12O40)]·7H2O (CuPMo), and [Cu4(μ3-OH)2(tba)3(H2O)3(PW12O40)0.5]2(PW12O40)·0.5H2O (CuPW) were constructed using multinuclear copper clusters, 3-(4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-yl)benzoic acid (Htba), and Keggin polyoxometalates (POMs). Different POMs regulate the formation of different multinuclear copper clusters ("boat" tetranuclear clusters in CuSiW, trinuclear clusters in CuPMo, and "chair" tetranuclear clusters in CuPW) and different topological structures of CuSiW, CuPMo, and CuPW (3-connected two-dimensional (2D) network for CuSiW, 4-connected 2D network for CuPMo, and (4,6)-connected three-dimensional network for CuPW). CuSiW, CuPMo, and CuPW as heterogeneous catalysts combine the high stability of MOFs in polar solvents and excellent catalytic activity of POMs and could be used for the synthesis of nitrogen-heterocycle compounds. The condensation cyclization reactions of 2-aminophenols/benzenesulfonyl hydrazines with 1,3-diketones produce benzoazoles and pyrazoles in good to excellent yields under the catalysis of CuPMo. Moreover, the catalyst could be reused at least for 7 runs, and this protocol was suitable for gram-scale reactions.

Abstract
We present the synthesis and catalytic properties of two novel telluroniobates {Te15Nb21} and {Te10Nb14}. {Te15Nb21} is the first trimeric telluroniobate with the largest number of tellurium atoms in the Te-Nb system. Besides, both clusters exhibit excellent catalytic activity in the amidation reactions of anhydrides and amines, and cyclic imides and bi-amides can be controllably synthesized, which represents a breakthrough in the catalysis of polyoxoniobates.

Abstract
The rational design of efficient triiodide reduction reaction catalysts that are dependent on cheap and ample elements on Earth has become a challenge. As an extremely encouraging non-noble metallic catalyst, MoS2 requires effective strategies to improve the site accessibility, inherent conductivity, and structural stability. Here, vanadium-substituted Keggin-type polyoxometalates (POMs) can be used as electron aggregates to modify manganese (Mn)-doped MoS2 through the electrochemical deposition strategy, thereby improving the charge transfer ability of MoS2 to I-/I3- redox pairs and accelerating the reduction of I3-. Additionally, with the increase in the number of vanadium atoms substituted in POMs, the conduction band of POMs and MoS2 can also match better, which effectively reduces the energy loss and is more conducive to charge transfer. Meanwhile, the deposition of POMs can improve the stability of metastable MoS2. When POMs/MoS2 materials are used as the counter electrodes of dye-sensitized solar cells, the power conversion efficiency (PCE) obtained is 7.27%, which is higher than that of platinum (Pt) (6.07%). The PCE can still maintain the initial 96% after 9 days. This work provides a valuable way for the improvement of platinum-free catalysts with minimal expense, basic process, high efficiency, and good stability.
