Abstract
Person-centered planning has been shown to benefit people with disabilities and their quality of life. However, we have little knowledge of how person-centered planning can benefit staff and administration within a group home organization, as well as the extent to which it results in changes to organizational practices and procedures, as well as perceptions of people with disabilities. In this qualitative study, we explored the perspectives of organizational employees, an affiliating behavioral consultant, and residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities, taking into consideration key insights from person-centered planning consultant-coaches, to understand the effects of a person-centered planning initiative on the group home organization. Accompanying our findings are five stories that poetically describe each of the participating residents and their experiences with organizational employees throughout the implementation of the initiative. Implications for research and practice are discussed.

Abstract
Introduction Allogeneic stem cell transplantation (allo-HCT) involves a long trajectory with high risk of complications. In person-centred care (PCC), patients' needs, resources and the care relationship are central to the care process. Healthcare professionals' (HCPs) ratings of PCC have not previously been investigated in this context. Objectives The aim of this study was to investigate healthcare professionals' ratings and views of person-centred care in allo-HCT care, and associations with individual characteristics and targeted PCC education. Design Cross-sectional study, employing quantitative and qualitative methods. Methods 85 HCPs at two Swedish allo-HCT centres participated (80% women; mean age: 44 years, range: 23-72 years). A survey was conducted using the PCC Assessment Tool (P-CAT), containing 13 items, a total scale (min 13-max 65) and two subscales (I: min 8-max 40; II: min 5-max 25). Additionally, HCPs' written responses to four study-specific questions about PCC were collected. Results The mean for P-CAT total scale was 45.31, (subscale I: 28.41; subscale II: 16.90). Higher ratings of PCC were reported for assessment of patients' needs, discussion about how to provide PCC and patients' care, while time to provide PCC, the care environment and how the organization prevents providing PCC were rated lower. Higher age and targeted PCC education were associated with higher PCC ratings. HCPs described PCC as the patient being seen as a capable individual with their own resources, with PCC increasing patient and family involvement-giving higher satisfaction and tailored care for patients. However, HCPs reported time as a barrier for PCC. Conclusion HCPs' ratings of PCC in this context are high regarding discussing and assessing patients' needs, but there is room for improvement regarding organizational and environmental aspects. Targeted PCC education increases the level of PCC. HCPs' views of PCC partly reflect the foundations of PCC-patient's narrative, capability and involvement.

Abstract
Our objective was to identify the dimensions of the patient experience that directly influence a hospital's reputation and indirectly impact electronic word-of-mouth communication carried out by patients. We collected data from 484 hospital users and analyzed the data using PLS-SEM. Our results show that paying attention to patient preferences and physical comfort, providing information and education, and treating patients' families and friends well tend to have a significant impact on the hospital's reputation. In turn, a hospital's reputation may influence patients to perform electronic word-of-mouth about their experiences.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Radiography Service Managers (RSMs) and Clinical Specialist Radiographers (CSRs) play a pivotal role in the overall provision and seamless operation of the diagnostic imaging services provided to patients. The essential role played by these professionals makes it important to consider both job satisfaction and career plans amongst this cohort as both these variables are inextricably linked with the quality of care provided to patients and the occupational performance of staff. This study explored the job satisfaction and career plans of RSMs and CSRs. METHOD A well-established, validated, questionnaire-based job satisfaction assessment tool, the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS), was used to provide data relating to 36 statements across nine subscales related to job satisfaction in healthcare. Additionally, there were four open-ended questions which provided participants the opportunity to provide input related to career plans. An email link with access to the electronic survey was circulated to the National RSMs Group who further distributed the survey to other RSMs and all CSRs at their respective clinical sites. The collected data was analysed in Excel with the data analysis add-in to assess statistical significance. RESULTS The findings of this study demonstrated predominately 'ambivalent' opinions among CSRs and RSMs, with regard to job satisfaction. Areas of highest satisfaction amongst both cohorts included 'Nature of work', 'Co-workers', and 'Supervision', while areas of dissatisfaction included 'Pay', unclear systems of 'Contingent Rewards', and 'Operating Conditions'. CONCLUSION This study highlighted areas where measures could be explored to increase job satisfaction and encourage the retention of both RSMs and CSRs in diagnostic imaging departments. IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE The enhancement of job satisfaction at management levels should translate through to other grades of radiographers, impacting the overall quality of patient care and professional well-being in the department.

Abstract
Background Social prescribing link workers have become part of primary health care in recent years. They help patients to recognise non-medical factors affecting their health and identify sources of support, often in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. They form part of wider work to strengthen person-centred care, which actively seeks to engage individuals in decision-making about their health, taking into account their medical, social, psychological, financial and spiritual circumstances. Objective To understand how buy-in to social prescribing and the link worker role is established for a patient, and how this relates to person-centred care. Design A realist evaluation. Setting Patients engaging with link workers in seven different parts of England were involved. Methods As part of data collection, we observed link workers interacting with 35 patients. We also interviewed 61 patients and re-interviewed 41 of them 9-12 months later. Data were coded and developed into context-mechanism-outcome configurations, which were used to produce a programme theory. Results Data highlighted how patients might be uncertain about the link worker role but agree to a referral as they sought assistance with their non-medical issues. Patients talked about experiencing a sense of hope through the trust they developed in a link worker. This trust was established through the communication skills and knowledge demonstrated by a link worker, and by their ability to act as an anchor point when required - a reliable, consistent source of support to whom patients could offload. The link worker role also involved connecting patients to external support, which called for sensitivity around how ready someone was to move forward; this was shaped by a patient's motivation but also their capacity to make changes given other demands in their life. Connecting patients to external support could be affected by structural factors outside the link workers' control (e.g. housing options or employment opportunities). Limitations We did not interview patients who had rejected the offer of social prescribing, and most had a positive view of meeting with a link worker. Conclusions Person-centred care is engendered by link workers through their skills, knowledge and ability to respond to the individual readiness of patients to engage with external support. It can be curtailed by structural factors outside link workers' sphere of control, such as access to housing or caring responsibilities of patients. This can hinder patients' ability to 'connect to', leaving link workers to continue 'connecting with' patients as they act as an anchor point. Future work Exploration is required of factors affecting patients who interact with a link worker but do not access external support. Longitudinal work with a cohort of patients, speaking to them on a regular basis, may provide further understanding in this respect. Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the content and usability of a new direct observation tool for assessing competency in delivering person-centred care based on the Gothenburg Centre for Person-Centred Care (gPCC) framework. DESIGN This is a qualitative study using think-aloud techniques and retrospective probing interviews and analyzed using deductive content analysis. SETTING Sessions were conducted remotely via Zoom with participants in their homes or offices. PARTICIPANTS 11 participants with lengthy experience of receiving, delivering and/or implementing gPCC were recruited using purposeful sampling and selected to represent a broad variety of stakeholders and potential end-users. RESULTS Participants generally considered the content of the four main domains of the tool, that is, person-centred care activities, clinician manner, clinician skills and person-centred care goals, to be comprehensive and relevant for assessing person-centred care in general and gPCC in particular. Some participants pointed to the need to expand person-centred care activities to better reflect the emphasis on eliciting patient resources/capabilities and psychosocial needs in the gPCC framework. Think-aloud analyses revealed some usability issues primarily regarding difficulties or uncertainties in understanding several words and in using the rating scale. Probing interviews indicated that these problems could be mitigated by improving written instructions regarding response options and by replacing some words. Participants generally were satisfied with the layout and structure of the tool, but some suggested enlarging font size and text spacing to improve readability. CONCLUSION The tool appears to satisfactorily cover major person-centred care activities outlined in the gPCC framework. The inclusion of content concerning clinician manner and skills was seen as a relevant embellishment of the framework and as contributing to a more comprehensive assessment of clinician performance in the delivery of person-centred care. A revised version addressing observed content and usability issues will be tested for inter-rater and intra-rater reliability and for feasibility of use in healthcare education and quality improvement efforts.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The interplay of ethical stress, heavy workloads, and job dissatisfaction poses challenges to both the recruitment and retention of health and social care professionals. Person-centred care, rooted in ethical principles, involves collaborative care, and is expected to improve care and job satisfaction. However, prior research on the impact of person-centred care practices on professionals' work-related health and job satisfaction has yielded mixed results, and most studies emanate from residential care. Understanding how person-centred care practices influence health and social care professionals across different care settings thus requires further exploration through rigorous methodology. The overall aim of PCC@Work is to follow, describe, assess, and explore the impact of person-centred care practices in hospital wards, primary care centres and municipal care on health and social care professionals' work-related health and job satisfaction. METHODS PCC@Work is designed as a prospective, longitudinal cohort study combined with qualitative studies. A web-based questionnaire will be distributed on five occasions within two years to health and social care professionals in the three care settings. In addition, focus groups and interviews will be conducted with a selection of health and social care professionals to explore their experiences of work-related health and job satisfaction in relation to person-centred practices. DISCUSSION PCC@Work will highlight some of the knowledge gaps on the impact of person-centred care practices regarding work-related health and job satisfaction of health and social care professionals. The uniqueness of the project lies in the multi-method design, combining a prospective longitudinal cohort study with qualitative studies, and the involvement of various professions and settings. This means we will be able to provide a comprehensive and representative understanding of person-centred care practices as a critical component for effective change in the working conditions of health and social care.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The person-centered care (PCC) approach plays a fundamental role in ensuring quality healthcare. The Person-Centered Care Assessment Tool (P-CAT) is one of the shortest and simplest tools currently available for measuring PCC. The objective of this study was to conduct a systematic review of the evidence in validation studies of the P-CAT, taking the "Standards" as a frame of reference. METHODS First, a systematic literature review was conducted following the PRISMA method. Second, a systematic descriptive literature review of validity tests was conducted following the "Standards" framework. The search strategy and information sources were obtained from the Cochrane, Web of Science (WoS), Scopus and PubMed databases. With regard to the eligibility criteria and selection process, a protocol was registered in PROSPERO (CRD42022335866), and articles had to meet criteria for inclusion in the systematic review. RESULTS A total of seven articles were included. Empirical evidence indicates that these validations offer a high number of sources related to test content, internal structure for dimensionality and internal consistency. A moderate number of sources pertain to internal structure in terms of test-retest reliability and the relationship with other variables. There is little evidence of response processes, internal structure in measurement invariance terms, and test consequences. DISCUSSION The various validations of the P-CAT are not framed in a structured, valid, theory-based procedural framework like the "Standards" are. This can affect clinical practice because people's health may depend on it. The findings of this study show that validation studies continue to focus on the types of validity traditionally studied and overlook interpretation of the scores in terms of their intended use.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Healthcare providers may experience moral distress when they are unable to take the ethically or morally appropriate action due to real or perceived constraints in delivering care, and this psychological stressor can negatively impact their mental health, leading to burnout and compassion fatigue. This study describes healthcare providers experiences of moral distress working in long-term care settings during the COVID-19 pandemic and measures self-reported levels of moral distress pre- and post-implementation of the Dementia Isolation Toolkit (DIT), a person-centred care intervention designed for use by healthcare providers to alleviate moral distress. METHODS Subjective levels of moral distress amongst providers (e.g., managerial, administrative, and front-line employees) working in three long-term care homes was measured pre- and post-implementation of the DIT using the Moral Distress in Dementia Care Survey and semi-structured interviews. Interviews explored participants' experiences of moral distress in the workplace and the perceived impact of the intervention on moral distress. RESULTS A total of 23 providers between the three long-term care homes participated. Following implementation of the DIT, subjective levels of moral distress measured by the survey did not change. When interviewed, participants reported frequent experiences of moral distress from implementing public health directives, staff shortages, and professional burnout that remained unchanged following implementation. However, in the post-implementation interviews, participants who used the DIT reported improved self-awareness of moral distress and reductions in the experience of moral distress. Participants related this to feeling that the quality of resident care was improved by integrating principals of person-centered care and information gathered from the DIT. CONCLUSIONS This study highlights the prevalence and exacerbation of moral distress amongst providers during the pandemic and the myriad of systemic factors that contribute to experiences of moral distress in long-term care settings. We report divergent findings with no quantitative improvement in moral distress post-intervention, but evidence from interviews that the DIT may ease some sources of moral distress and improve the perceived quality of care delivered. This study demonstrates that an intervention to support person-centred isolation care in this setting had limited impact on overall moral distress during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract
Objective Clinician's experiences of providing care are identified as a key outcome associated with value-based healthcare (VBHC). In contrast to patient-reported experience measures, measurement tools to capture clinician's experiences in relation to VBHC initiatives have received limited attention to date. Progressing from an initial 18-item clinician experience measure (CEM), we sought to develop and evaluate the reliability of a set of 10 core clinician experience measure items in the CEM-10. Methods A multi-method project was conducted using a consensus workshop with clinicians from a range of NSW Health local health districts to reduce the 18-item CEM to a short form 10-item core clinician experience measure (CEM-10). The CEM-10 was deployed with clinicians providing diabetes care, care for older adults and virtual care across all districts and care settings of New South Wales, Australia. Psychometric analysis was used to determine the internal consistency of the tool and its suitability for diverse clinical contexts. Results Consensus building sessions led to a rationalised 10-item tool, retaining the four domains of psychological safety (two items), quality of care (three items), clinician engagement (three items) and interprofessional collaboration (two items). Data from four clinician cohorts (n = 1029) demonstrated that the CEM-10 four-factor model produced a good fit to the data and high levels of reliability, with factor loadings ranging from 0.77 to 0.92, with Cronbach's alpha (range: 0.79-0.90) and composite reliability (range: 0.80-0.92). Conclusions The CEM-10 provides a core set of common clinician experience measurement items that can be used to compare clinician's experiences of providing care between and within cohorts. The CEM-10 may be supported by additional items relevant to particular initiatives when evaluating VBHC outcomes.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Research suggests that person-centred care can be beneficially implemented and sustained, even though barriers remain that prevent uptake in clinical practice. Understanding barriers to person-centred care seems important, as this has an impact on care practices and resident outcomes. Moreover, there is limited knowledge about nursing home managers' descriptions of barriers when leading person-centred care. OBJECTIVES To explore barriers to leading person-centred care as narrated by nursing home managers. METHODS A descriptive qualitative design was used to collect data using individual interviews with 12 nursing home managers in highly person-centred nursing homes. Data were analysed using content analysis. RESULTS Multi-level barriers to leading person-centred care were identified on the (1) person level, (2) team level and (3) organisational level. Placing professional and family considerations ahead of resident considerations was described as a barrier on the personal level (1). Also, staff's divergent care values, processes, and priorities together with turnover and low foundational knowledge were identified as barriers on the team level (2). On an organisational level (3), constrained finances, functional building design and group level rostering were identified as barriers. CONCLUSION Multi-level barriers influence nursing home managers' ability to lead and promote person-centred care. Promoting the development of person-centred practices requires efforts to eliminate barriers on person, team and organisational level. IMPLICATIONS FOR PRACTICE Identifying and overcoming barriers at various levels in nursing home care has the potential to promote person-centred practices. This study can inform stakeholders and policymakers of challenges and complexities in person-centred practices. Multi-level strategies are needed to target challenges at person-, team- and organisational level when striving to develop person-centred care.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Burnout and mental illness are frequent among healthcare professionals, leading to increased sick leave. Simulation-based team training has been shown to improve job satisfaction and mental health among healthcare professionals. This study seeks to investigate the relationship between simulation-based team training and sick leave. DESIGN Cohort study. SETTING AND INTERVENTION Five Danish hospitals. PARTICIPANTS A total of 15 751 individuals were screened for eligibility. To meet the eligibility criteria, individuals had to be employed in the same group (intervention or control) for the whole study period. A total of 14 872 individuals were eligible for analysis in the study. INTERVENTION From 2017 to 2019, a simulation-based team training intervention was implemented at two hospital sites. Three hospital sites served as the control group. OUTCOME MEASURES Data on sick leave from 2015 to 2020 covered five hospital sites. Using a difference-in-difference analysis, the rate of sick leave was compared across hospital sites (intervention vs control) and time periods (before vs after intervention). RESULTS Significant alterations in sick leave were evident when comparing the intervention and control groups. When comparing groups over time, the increase in sick leave was -0.3% (95% CI -0.6% to -0.0%) lower in the intervention group than in the control group. The difference-in-difference for the complete case analysis showed that this trend remained consistent, with analysis indicating a comparable lower increase in sick leave by -0.7% (95% CI -1.3% to -0.1%) in the intervention group. CONCLUSION The increase in sick leave rate was statistically significantly lower in the intervention group, implying that simulation-based team training could serve as a protective factor against sick leave. However, when investigating this simulation intervention over 5 years, other potential factors may have influenced sick leave, so caution is required when interpreting the results.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The intensity of the home care interventions for dependent older people offered in Spain may not be sufficient to help keep older people living at home, being the institutionalization in a nursing home (NH) an unavoidable consequence. OBJECTIVE To evaluate the effect of intensification in home care interventions on users with grade II or III dependency, as well as training for their informal caregivers in order to delay or avoid their institutionalization in a NH. METHODS A randomized clinical trial with two parallel arms and blinded assessment will be conducted at the community level in two municipalities in Catalonia (Spain). The study will include those older people (aged 65 and over) living in the community, with degree II or III of dependency, users of the public home care unwilling to be institutionalized and with a main informal caregiver in charge, who will also participate in the study. The assessments will be performed monthly up to 15 months, when the intervention will be finished. The main outcome will be the time until the willingness for admission to a NH. Secondary variables will be composed of sociodemographic, health, psychosocial, resource use, and follow-up variables. A multivariate Cox regression model will be carried out to estimate the effectiveness of the intervention. DISCUSSION A multimodal home care intervention could improve the health and psychosocial status of dependent people and their informal caregivers and facilitate their permanence at home. Abstract
OBJECTIVES This qualitative systematic review aimed to explore and synthesise healthcare professionals' (HCPs) experiences of job satisfaction when providing person-centred care (PCC) in healthcare settings in Europe. METHOD This systematic review of qualitative studies was followed by a thematic synthesis applying an inductive approach. Studies concerning HCPs and different levels of healthcare in Europe were eligible for inclusion. The CINAHL, PubMed and Scopus databases were searched. Study titles, abstracts and full texts were screened for relevance. Included studies were assessed for methodological quality using a quality appraisal checklist. Data were extracted and synthesised via thematic synthesis, generating analytical themes. RESULTS Seventeen studies were included in the final thematic synthesis, and eight analytical themes were derived. Most studies were conducted in Sweden and the UK and were performed in hospitals, nursing homes, elderly care and primary care. Thirteen of these studies were qualitative and four used a mixed-method design in which the qualitative part was used for analysis. HCPs experienced challenges adapting to a new remoulded professional role and felt torn and inadequate due to ambiguities between organisational structures, task-oriented care and PCC. Improved job satisfaction was experienced when providing PCC in line with ethical expectations, patients and colleagues expressed appreciation and team collaboration improved, while learning new skills generated motivation. CONCLUSION This systematic review found varied experiences among HCPs. Notably, the new professional role was experienced to entail disorientation and uncertainty; importantly, it also entailed experiences of job satisfaction such as meaningfulness, an improved relationship between HCPs and patients, appreciation and collaboration. To facilitate PCC implementation, healthcare organisations should focus on supporting HCPs through collaborational structures, and resources such as time, space and staffing. Abstract
BACKGROUND Measuring employees' satisfaction with their jobs and working environment have become increasingly common worldwide. Healthcare organizations are not extraneous to the irreversible trend of measuring employee perceptions to boost performance and improve service provision. Considering the multiplicity of aspects associated with job satisfaction, it is important to provide managers with a method for assessing which elements may carry key relevance. Our study identifies the mix of factors that are associated with an improvement of public healthcare professionals' job satisfaction related to unit, organization, and regional government. Investigating employees' satisfaction and perception about organizational climate with different governance level seems essential in light of extant evidence showing the interconnection as well as the uniqueness of each governance layer in enhancing or threatening motivation and satisfaction. METHODS This study investigates the correlates of job satisfaction among 73,441 employees in healthcare regional governments in Italy. Across four cross sectional surveys in different healthcare systems, we use an optimization model to identify the most efficient combination of factors that is associated with an increase in employees' satisfaction at three levels, namely one's unit, organization, and regional healthcare system. RESULTS Findings show that environmental characteristics, organizational management practices, and team coordination mechanisms correlates with professionals' satisfaction. Optimization analyses reveal that improving the planning of activities and tasks in the unit, a sense of being part of a team, and supervisor's managerial competences correlate with a higher satisfaction to work for one's unit. Improving how managers do their job tend to be associated with more satisfaction to work for the organization. CONCLUSIONS The study unveils commonalities and differences of personnel administration and management across public healthcare systems and provides insights on the role that several layers of governance have in depicting human resource management strategies.

Objective: Client centered care (CCC) is strongly advocated for improving the quality of health care. The aim of the current study was to explore client and staff perspectives of a new model of CCC implemented in a residential alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment service. Specifically, the study aimed to (i) describe the defining features of CCC, and (ii) describe the benefits and challenges of implementing CCC at the service. Methods: Participants were 18 clients and eight staff who took part in focus groups and interviews. Thematic analysis of four client focus groups and eight staff individual interviews was conducted. Results: Staff identified the defining features of CCC as flexible, comprehensive, open-minded, and inclusive. Clients and staff shared predominantly positive views on the CCC model. Shared themes included the challenge of balancing flexibility and structure, and delivering comprehensive and individualized care within the limits of staff knowledge, skills, and resources. Conclusions: Results suggest that implementing CCC across an AOD treatment setting has clear benefits to staff and clients, along with challenges that require careful consideration and planning. Future research should evaluate the effectiveness of providing guidelines that address many of the challenges associated with implementing CCC.

Background
In palliative oncology settings, electronic patient-reported outcome (PRO) assessment can play an important role in supporting clinical activities for clinicians and patients. This scoping review aims to map the technological innovation of electronic patient-reported outcome measures (e-PROMs) in cancer palliative care and how PRO data collected through e-PROMs can influence the monitoring and management of symptoms and enable better communication between health professionals and patients.
Methods
A scoping review study was designed according to the Arksey and O'Malley framework. Medline, Embase, Web of Science, SCOPUS, PsycINFO and CINAHL and gray literature sources were consulted. The inclusion criteria were people over 18 years old receiving palliative and/or end-of-life care using e-PROMs.
Results
Thirteen primary studies were included: nine quantitative studies, two qualitative studies, and two mixed-method studies. The recently developed software that supports e-PROMs allows patients to receive feedback on their symptoms, helps clinicians prioritize care needs and monitors patients’ conditions as their symptoms change. Electronic PRO data prompt difficult, end-of-life communication between clinicians and patients to better organize care in the last phase of life.
Conclusion
This work shows that electronic PRO data assessment provides valuable tools for patients’ well-being and the management of symptoms; only one study reported conflicting results. However, with studies lacking on how clinicians can use these tools to improve communication with patients, more research is needed.

Abstract
Work in the health and social care sector is stressful, and work-related stress increases the risk of depression, anxiety, burnout, and sleep disorders. Although interventions to reduce stress and burnout at workplaces have been developed and studied, most studies have lacked the effectiveness to improve the situation. Thus, more knowledge on interventions and analysis of their mechanisms is needed to reduce the risk of more adverse mental health problems (MHP). We conducted a scoping review to identify the relevant literature on individual and organizational interventions to improve mental health in health and social care workplaces. Data were gathered on target groups, intervention types and their effectiveness, and the outcomes of the interventions. We summarized this data thematically. The final review consisted of 76 studies. Mental health interventions primarily focused on health care workers rather than social care professionals. The interventions were mostly directed at individual workers, ignoring organizational-level interventions. They used a great variety of outcomes and questionnaires, and the questionnaires that measured the outcomes were used ambiguously. In most cases, the reported effectiveness of the studied interventions was incoherent, and many of the interventions had both statistically significant and non-significant effects. Evidence that interventions reduce the risk of work-related MHP is scarce. High-quality randomized controlled trials of interventions to promote mental health with more coherently formed outcomes are needed, especially on the organizational level. More interventions to improve social care professionals' mental health are also needed.

Abstract
BACKGROUND There is an increasing trend towards person-centred care (PCC) worldwide, suggesting that PCC should be mastered by future health care professionals. This study aims to explore programme directors' views on facilitators and barriers to implementing PCC in four of the largest national study programmes in Sweden training future health care professionals. METHODS A qualitative design was applied and interviews were conducted with 19 programme directors of Swedish national study programmes in medicine, nursing, occupational therapy and physiotherapy. The interviews were analysed using qualitative content analysis. Themes were sorted according to the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR) in an abductive approach. COREQ guidelines were applied. RESULTS The overarching theme, as interpreted from the programme directors' experiences, was 'Person-centred care is on the move at different paces.' The theme relates to the domains identified by the CFIR as outer setting, innovation, inner setting and process. PCC was understood as something familiar but yet new, and the higher education institutions were in a state of understanding and adapting PCC to their own contexts. The movement in the outer setting consists of numerous stakeholders advocating for increased patient influence, which has stirred a movement in the inner setting where the higher educational institutions are trying to accommodate these new demands. Different meanings and values are ascribed to PCC, and the concept is thus also 'on the move', being adapted to traditions at each educational setting. CONCLUSION Implementation of PCC in Swedish higher education is ongoing but fragmented and driven by individuals with a specific interest. There is uncertainty and ambiguity around the meaning and value of PCC and how to implement it. More knowledge is needed about the core of PCC as a subject for teaching and learning and also didactic strategies suitable to support students in becoming person-centred practitioners.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To identify key observable indicators of person-centred care (PCC) from interviews with patients, relatives and professionals with experience of receiving or working with PCC. DESIGN A qualitative interview study using deductive content analysis. SETTING Primary and hospital care settings in Western Sweden. PARTICIPANTS Twelve participants with extensive experience of receiving or working with PCC were interviewed: two patients, two patients representative with long-term conditions, one relative and informal carer, three registered nurses, one physician, two occupational therapists and one social worker/researcher. RESULTS Nine observable indicators were identified and subsumed under three predetermined categories: initiating, working and safeguarding the partnership. The first category comprised three subcategories: welcoming, interested and courteous reception; agreeing on structure and aims of the conversation; and eliciting patients' wishes for involvement of significant others. The second category comprised four subcategories: attentive, empathic and encouraging manner; promoting mutual understanding; promoting patient engagement; and encouraging and friendly body language. The last category consisted of two subcategories: collaboration and transparency in documentation and verifying that patient's and professional's views, goals and wants are correctly documented. CONCLUSION Our results underline the need for health professionals to actively and conscientiously convey to patients their interest in and respect for the patient as a person and their willingness to collaborate as partners in their care from the very outset of the interaction. Non-verbal behaviours were seen to play a major role in shaping patients' impressions of health professionals. Given that patients' first impressions were considered to impact the content, course and outcomes of the interaction, more research attention should be given to their implications for the effective delivery of PCC.

Abstract
Although there is considerable literature on job satisfaction among nurses in various settings, there is little research about contributing factors, including moral distress to job satisfaction among a certain group of nurses, such as nurses acting as physician assistants. The purpose of this study was to verify the impact of nurse-physician collaboration, moral distress, and professional autonomy on job satisfaction among nurses acting as physician assistants. Descriptive and correlational research was conducted on a convenience sample of 130 nurses from five general hospitals in South Korea. In the final regression model, the adjusted R square was significant, explaining 38.2% of the variance of job satisfaction (F = 8.303, p < 0.001), where 'cooperativeness' (β = 0.469, p = 0.001) from nurse-physician collaboration, 'institutional and contextual factor' from moral distress (β = -0.292, p = 0.014), and professional autonomy (β = 0.247, p = 0.015) were included. In hospital environments, a more cooperative inter-professional relationship between nurses and physicians led to less moral distress caused by organisational constraints. A higher level of professional autonomy among nurses acting as physician assistants is required to increase their job satisfaction.

Abstract
Person-centered care (PCC) is considered the standard to assure quality of care and quality of life in long-term care, benefiting both residents and staff. This study examines the associations between nursing home staff perceptions of person-centered care practices, the organizational system, and work-related attitudes in a sample of 340 nurses and direct care workers across 32 nursing homes in Oregon. Random-intercepts regression models were used to estimate within- and between-nursing home variation in staff perceptions of PCC practices as measured by the Staff Assessment of Person-Directed Care (SA-PDC), and identify characteristics associated with these perceptions. Staff in nursing homes that accept Medicaid reported lower SA-PDC scores, and higher scores were reported in nonprofit nursing homes. Staff perceptions varied extensively within nursing homes, suggesting a lack of staff cohesion regarding core aspects of PCC. Cultivating a supportive work environment is key to promoting person-centered care practices, increasing job satisfaction, elevating affective commitment, and reducing turnover intention.

Abstract
Objetivos Conocer la perspectiva de profesionales sobre aspectos y dimensiones que deberían formar parte indispensable de la Atención Centrada en la Persona (ACP). Diseño Técnica Delphi. Emplazamiento Atención Primaria. Participantes Setenta y cuatro expertos médicos especialistas en medicina familiar y comunitaria (MF), tutores docentes, psicólogos y sociólogos distribuidos por todo el territorio nacional (enero-junio 2015). Métodos Respondieron a tres cuestionarios: primero sobre aspectos que debería tener en cuenta un MF para realizar ACP en todas sus dimensiones. En el segundo se preguntó sobre el grado de acuerdo con cada ítem y dimensión en que lo clasificaba. Las respuestas se priorizaron en un tercer cuestionario (escala Likert, rango de puntuación 1-10). Resultados La tasa de respuesta (TR) al primer cuestionario fue de 54,05%, obteniéndose 84 ítems, los más frecuentes Respeto y Atención Integral. El 2.° cuestionario con TR = 48,6%, obtuvo 52 ítems con acuerdo superior al 75%. La TR del tercer cuestionario fue de 52,7%, obteniendo 21 ítems con puntuación > 9. Los valores más altos correspondieron a aspectos esenciales de la ACP: respeto, atención integral, enfoque biopsicosocial, autonomía del paciente y participación en la toma de decisiones. Conclusiones Se identificaron nuevas dimensiones: Prevención y promoción de la salud, Gestión de Recursos y Competencia Clínica; añadidas a las previamente descritas: Perspectiva biopsicosocial, Médico como persona, Paciente como persona, Relación médico-paciente y Poder y Responsabilidad compartidas. El respeto, la atención integral, el enfoque biopsicosocial, la autonomía del paciente y su participación en la toma de decisiones, son los aspectos más valorados entre los seleccionados por los profesionales participantes.
