Abstract
Small bowel cancer (SBC) is a rare and aggressive disease with a poor prognosis, necessitating the exploration of novel treatment approaches. This narrative review examines the current evidence on targeted therapy and immunotherapy for SBC, focusing on the two most common subtypes: adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine tumor. A comprehensive search of PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar databases was conducted to identify relevant clinical trials and case reports published in English up to September 2023. The review includes 17 clinical trials and 10 case reports, indicating that targeted therapy and immunotherapy can have the potential to improve survival rates in patients with SBC. Notably, promising targeted medicines include bevacizumab, cetuximab, and trastuzumab, while pembrolizumab and nivolumab show potential as immunotherapies. However, it should be noted that the magnitude of the increase in survival rates with these interventions was small. Further research is needed to determine the optimal combination of targeted therapy and immunotherapy for individual patients with SBC.

Abstract
Introduction The available approved anticancer drugs for Chinese patients are relatively limited because of China's low participation rate in international clinical trials. Therefore, a focus on approved anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1)/programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) drugs in China is needed. This study aims to assess the heterogeneity of anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies manufactured in China (domestic PD-1/PD-L1) and overseas (imported PD-1/PD-L1) when combined with chemotherapy as the first-line treatment of NSCLC. Methods A systematic search was performed using PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library of publications up to July 13, 2023. Meta-analysis was applied to compare the efficacy and safety profile between anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies plus chemotherapy (PD-1/PD-L1+Chemo) and chemotherapy alone using STATA software. Pooled hazard ratios for progression-free survival and overall survival, odds ratios for objective response rate, and incidence rate of grade greater than or equal to three treatment-related adverse events with 95% confidence intervals were calculated in the domestic group and imported group by a random-effects model, and the heterogeneity between the two estimates was assessed. Results There were 14 eligible clinical studies with a total of 3951 patients involved in this analysis, including eight studies of domestic PD-1/PD-L1+Chemo and six studies of imported PD-1/PD-L1+Chemo. The study revealed that there was no significant difference between domestic and imported PD-1/PD-L1+Chemo in overall survival (p = 0.80), progression-free survival (p = 0.53), and incidence rate of grade greater than or equal to three treatment-related adverse events (p = 0.10). Nevertheless, the objective response rate of imported PD-1/PD-L1+Chemo was significantly higher than that of domestic PD-1/PD-L1+Chemo (p = 0.03). Conclusions Domestic anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies plus chemotherapy were found to have comparable efficacy and safety to those combined with imported anti-PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies based on current evidence.

Abstract
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer globally and presents a significant challenge owing to its high mortality rate and the limitations of traditional treatment options such as surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. While these treatments are foundational, they are often poorly effective owing to tumor resistance. Immunotherapy is a groundbreaking alternative that has recently emerged and offers new hope for success by exploiting the body's own immune system. This article aims to provide an extensive review of clinical trials evaluating the efficacy of various immunotherapies, including CRC vaccines, chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapies, and immune checkpoint inhibitors. We also discuss combining CRC vaccines with monoclonal antibodies, delve into preclinical studies of novel cancer vaccines, and assess the impact of these treatment methods on patient outcomes. This review seeks to provide a deeper understanding of the current state of CRC treatment by evaluating innovative treatments and their potential to redefine the prognosis of patients with CRC.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES The use of immune checkpoint inhibitors, particularly PD-1 inhibitors, has revolutionized the treatment of advanced tumors and shown significant improvements in patient survival rates. However, which PD-1 inhibitor is more effective and safer for a specific indication remains unclear. To address this problem, our study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of different PD-1 inhibitors in combination with chemotherapy as first-line therapy for individuals with advanced non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without driver genes in the real world. MATERIALS AND METHODS We conducted a retrospective study of individuals diagnosed with aNSCLC who received immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) with modified PD-1 inhibitors, including Sintilimab, Toripalimab, Tislelizumab, Camrelizumab, or Pembrolizumab as first-line treatment between March 5th, 2016 and October 20th, 2022. We assessed demographic and clinical information and analyzed clinical response, survival outcomes, and safety profiles. The primary endpoint was overall survival (OS), and the secondary endpoints included progression-free survival (PFS), objective response rate (ORR), disease control rate (DCR), and safety. RESULTS As of the date cut-off on October 20th, 2022, the median follow-up time was 20.62 months. A total of 204 patients were enrolled in the study, including 56 (27.5%) patients receiving modified PD-1 inhibitors (Sintilimab, Toripalimab, Tislelizumab, or Camrelizumab) in combination with chemotherapy and 148 (72.5%) patients receiving Pembrolizumab in combination with chemotherapy. In the overall cohort, the median overall survival (OS) was 26.9 months (95%CI, 22.3-31.6), the median progression-free survival (PFS) was 8.4 months (95%CI, 6.9-9.8), and the objective response rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) were 47.6% (95%CI, 29.9-43.6) and 84.3% (95%CI, 78.4-88.9). The mOS of modified PD-1 inhibitors group and Pembrolizumab group were 30.7 (95%CI, 17.3-44.4) months and 26.8 (95%CI, 22.2-31.4) months. The mPFS of two groups were 8.3(95%CI, 6.9-9.6) months and 8.8 (95%CI, 6.9-10.7) months, respectively. There was no statistical difference between the two groups in terms of OS or PFS. The ORR for the two groups was 48.2% (95%CI, 34.8-61.8) and 47.3% (95%CI, 39.1-5.6), respectively. However, due to the limited sample size, the difference was not statistically significant. On the other hand, the DCR tended to be higher in the Pembrolizumab group (86.5%; 95%CI, 79.7-91.4) compared to the modified PD-1 inhibitors group (78.6%; 95%CI, 65.2-87.9), and this difference was statistically significant (p = 0.006). In terms of safety, both groups exhibited favorable clinical safety profiles. The only two types of potentially immune-related adverse events reported were pneumonitis and reactive cutaneous capillary endothelial proliferation (RCCEP). CONCLUSIONS The modified PD-1 inhibitors showed comparable survival outcomes and manageable safety profiles in NSCLC compared to Pembrolizumab. Moreover, these inhibitors exhibited improved accessibility and economic outcomes compared to Pembrolizumab. While there were similarities in drug-related and immunotherapy-related adverse reactions between the modified PD-1 inhibitors and Pembrolizumab, there were some slight differences. Further prospective and retrospective studies would be necessary to validate these findings beyond the scope of the CTONG1901 study.

Abstract
Objectives The efficacy of treatments targeting recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma are unsatisfactory in practice for patients with a ECOG PS score ≥ 2. Thus, this study retrospectively evaluated the safety and efficacy of a programmed cell death 1 inhibitor (tislelizumab) combined with an epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitor (nimotuzumab) in treating patients with a PS score ≥ 2 who suffer from recurrent or metastatic oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Materials and methods Fifteen patients were treated with tislelizumab (200 mg IV Q3W) and nimotuzumab (200 mg IV Q3W). Programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in tumor biopsies was assessed with immunohistochemistry. Whole-exome sequencing was used to evaluate treatment efficacy based on PD-L1 expression and gene mutation. Results At a median follow-up of 9.6 months, median overall survival was 10.1 months, and median progression-free survival was 4.0 months. Overall response rate was 40%, with 6/15 patients achieving partial response. Eight patients exhibited nine adverse events, eight out of nine being grade 2 and the remaining being grade 3. Whole-exome sequencing showed that DYNC1I2, THSD7A, and FAT1 mutations were associated with patient prognosis. Conclusion Combination therapy involving tislelizumab plus nimotuzumab is a promising, low-toxicity treatment for recurrent or metastatic OSCC in patients with a PS score ≥ 2.

Abstract
Gastric cancer (GC) is an increasing global health problem and is one of the leading cancers worldwide. Traditional therapies, such as radiation and chemotherapy, have made limited progress in enhancing their efficacy for advanced GC. The development of immunotherapy for advanced GC has considerably improved with a deeper understanding of the tumor microenvironment. Immunotherapy using checkpoint inhibitors is a new therapeutic option that has made substantial advances in the treatment of other malignancies and is increasingly used in other clinical oncology treatments. Particularly, therapeutic antibodies targeting the programmed cell death protein-1 (PD-1)/programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) pathway have been effectively used in the clinical treatment of cancer. Monoclonal antibodies blocking the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway have been developed for cancer immunotherapy to enhance T cell function to restore the immune response and represent a breakthrough in the treatment of GC. This review provides an outline of the progress of PD-1/PD-L1 blockade therapy and its expression characteristics and clinical application in advanced GC.

Abstract
Renal cell carcinoma (RCC), especially clear cell RCC, is generally considered an immunotherapy-responsive cancer. Recently, the prognosis for patients with locally advanced and metastatic RCC has significantly improved with the regulatory approvals of anti-PD-1/PD-L1/CTLA-4 immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI)-based regimens. Yet in most cases, RCC will remain initially unresponsive to treatment or will develop resistance over time. Hence, there remains an unmet need to understand what leads to ICI resistance and to develop novel immune and nonimmune treatments to enhance the response to ICIs. In this review, we highlight recently published studies and the latest clinical studies investigating the next generation of immune approaches to locally advanced and metastatic RCC beyond traditional ICIs. These trials include cytokines, gut microbiota-based therapies, novel immune checkpoint agents, vaccines, and chimeric antigen receptor T cells. These agents are being evaluated as monotherapy or in combination with traditional ICIs and will hopefully provide improved outcomes to patients with RCC soon.

Abstract
Background Immunotherapy has revolutionized the treatment of cancer. However, microsatellite stable (MSS) metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) shows a low response to PD-1 inhibitors. Antiangiogenic therapy can enhance anti-PD-1 efficacy, but it still cannot meet clinical needs. Increasing evidence supported a close relationship between gut microbiome and anti-PD-1 efficacy. This study aimed to explore the efficacy and safety of the combination of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) and tislelizumab and fruquintinib in refractory MSS mCRC. Methods In the phase II trial, MSS mCRC patients were administered FMT plus tislelizumab and fruquintinib as a third-line or above treatment. The primary endpoint was progression-free survival (PFS). Secondary endpoints were overall survival (OS), objective response rate (ORR), disease control rate (DCR), duration of response (DoR), clinical benefit rate (CBR), safety and quality of life. Feces and peripheral blood were collected for exploratory biomarker analysis. This study is registered with Chictr.org.cn, identifier ChiCTR2100046768. Findings From May 10, 2021 to January 17, 2022, 20 patients were enrolled. Median follow-up was 13.7 months. Median PFS was 9.6 months (95% CI 4.1-15.1). Median OS was 13.7 months (95% CI 9.3-17.7). Median DoR was 8.1 months (95% CI 1.7-10.6). ORR was 20% (95% CI 5.7-43.7). DCR was 95% (95% CI 75.1-99.9). CBR was 60% (95% CI 36.1-80.9). Nineteen patients (95%) experienced at least one treatment-related adverse event (TRAE). Six patients (30%) had grade 3-4 TRAEs, with the most common being albuminuria (10%), urine occult blood (10%), fecal occult blood (10%), hypertension (5%), hyperglycemia (5%), liver dysfunction (5%), hand-foot skin reaction (5%), and hypothyroidism (5%). No treatment-related deaths occurred. Responders had a high-abundance of Proteobacteria and Lachnospiraceae family and a low-abundance of Actinobacteriota and Bifidobacterium. The treatment did not change the structure of peripheral blood TCR repertoire. However, the expanded TCRs exhibited the characteristics of antigen-driven responses in responders. Interpretation FMT plus tislelizumab and fruquintinib as third-line or above treatment showed improved survival and manageable safety in refractory MSS mCRC, suggesting a valuable new treatment option for this patient population. Abstract
Objectives The treatment of locally advanced oral or oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LAOOPSCC) is surgery and radiotherapy or chemoradiotherapy but with unsatisfactory survival rate. Neoadjuvant programmed death-1 (PD-1) therapy are being used in several clinical trials. Therefore, in this retrospective study we aimed to determine the feasibility of neoadjuvant tislelizumab plus chemotherapy followed by surgery for LAOOPSCC. Materials and methods The clinical data of 33 patients with LAOOPSCC who received neoadjuvant PD-1 inhibitors and chemotherapy between April 2021 and October 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients with stage III-IV LAOOPSCC received tislelizumab, albumin-bound paclitaxel, and cisplatin every 3 weeks (Q3W) for two cycles, followed by surgery and adjuvant radiotherapy or concurrent chemoradiotherapy. A median follow-up period was 20 months. Results The objective response rate (ORR) was 66.7%, with the major pathological response (MPR) rate at 54.5%, and the pathological complete response (pCR) rate was 33.3%. Sixteen patients underwent limited surgeries, and 15 patients were remitted from undergoing mandibulectomy and 9 patients were remitted from undergoing near total glossectomy or total glossectomy. A significant difference in the overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) was observed in patients who achieved major pathological response (MPR) than who did not. The most common adverse events in neoadjuvant therapy were alopecia, decreased appetite or anorexia, leukopenia, and fatigue. Conclusion Neoadjuvant PD-1 inhibitors combined with chemotherapy are feasible and safe, with a high pathological response and possible organ preservation in oral or oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma. However, further studies with a larger cohort of patients and longer follow-up period is required to strengthen our findings and evaluate the survival benefits of the treatment.

Abstract
The tumor microenvironment is surrounded by blood vessels and consists of malignant, non-malignant, and immune cells, as well as signalling molecules, which primarily affect the therapeutic response and curative effects of drugs in clinical studies. Tumor-infiltrating immune cells participate in tumor progression, impact anticancer therapy, and eventually lead to the development of immune tolerance. Immunotherapy is evolving as a promising therapeutic intervention to stimulate and activate the immune system to suppress cancer cell growth. Endometrial cancer (EC) is an immunogenic disease, and in recent years, immunotherapy has shown benefit in the treatment of recurrent and advanced EC. This review discusses the key molecular pathways associated with the intra-tumoral immune response and the involvement of circulatory signalling molecules. Specific immunologic signatures in EC which offer targets for immunomodulating agents, are also discussed. We have summarized the available literature in support of using immunotherapy in EC. Lastly, we have also discussed ongoing clinical trials that may offer additional promising immunotherapy options in the future. The manuscript also explored innovative approaches for screening and identifying effective drugs, and to reduce the financial burdens for the development of personalized treatment strategies. Collectively, we aim to provide a comprehensive review of the role of immune cells and the tumor microenvironment in the development, progression, and treatment of EC.

Abstract
Immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI) is an up-to-date therapy for cancer with a promising efficacy, but it may cause unique immune-related adverse events (irAEs). Although irAEs could affect any organ, irAEs-induced whole urinary tract expansion was rarely reported. Herein, we reported a 27-year-old male patient with thymic carcinoma who received the treatment of tislelizumab, paclitaxel albumin and carboplatin. He was hospitalized for severe bellyache and lumbago after 6 courses of treatment. Antibiotic and antispasmodic treatment did not relieve his symptoms. The imaging examinations reported whole urinary tract expansion and cystitis. Therefore, we proposed that the patient's pain was caused by tislelizumab-induced ureteritis/cystitis. After the discontinuation of tislelizumab and the administration of methylprednisolone, his symptoms were markedly alleviated. Herein, we reported a rare case of ICI-induced ureteritis/cystitis in the treatment of thymic cancer and reviewed other cases of immunotherapy-related cystitis and tislelizumab-related adverse events, which will provide a reference for the diagnosis and treatment of ICI-related irAEs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND We aimed to investigate the efficacy of locoregional radiotherapy (LRRT) in patients with de novo metastatic nasopharyngeal carcinoma (dmNPC) receiving chemotherapy combined with anti-programmed cell death receptor-1 monoclonal antibodies (anti-PD-1 mAbs) as first-line treatment and identify optimal candidates for LRRT. MATERIALS AND METHODS We enrolled patients with dmNPC receiving platinum-based palliative chemotherapy and anti-PD-1 mAbs followed or not followed by LRRT from four centers. The endpoints were progression-free survival (PFS), objective response rate (ORR), and overall survival (OS). We used the inverse probability of treatment weighting (IPTW) to balance the baseline characteristics of the LRRT and non-LRRT groups to minimize selection bias before comparative analyses. Multivariate analyses were carried out using the Cox proportional hazards model. RESULTS We included 163 patients with dmNPC (median follow-up: 22 months). The median PFS was 20 months, and the ORR was 92.0%; the median OS was not achieved. After IPTW adjustments, patients who received LRRT had a significant survival benefit over those not receiving LRRT (median PFS: 28 versus 15 months, P < 0.001). The Epstein-Barr virus DNA (EBV DNA) level after four to six cycles of anti-PD-1 mAbs [weighted hazard ratio (HR): 2.19, 95% confidence interval (CI) 1.22-3.92, P = 0.008] and LRRT (weighted HR: 0.58, 95% CI 0.34-0.99, P = 0.04) were independent prognostic factors. Patients with undetectable EBV DNA levels after four to six cycles of anti-PD-1 mAbs (early EBV DNA clearance) benefitted from LRRT (HR: 0.41, 95% CI 0.22-0.79, P = 0.008), whereas those with detectable levels did not (HR: 1.30, 95% CI 0.59-2.87, P = 0.51). CONCLUSIONS Palliative chemotherapy combined with anti-PD-1 mAbs followed by LRRT was associated with improved PFS in patients with dmNPC, especially for patients with early EBV DNA clearance.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION We aimed to describe the clinical efficacy and safety of tislelizumab, a new (PD-1) inhibitor, in patients with malignant solid tumors. METHODS We searched relevant databases for phase III randomized controlled trials, including patients with solid tumors. The following outcomes are of interest: overall response rate (OS), overall survival (ORR), progression-free survival (PFS), disease control rate (DCR), and treatment-related adverse events (TRAE). We conducted subgroup analyses based on the line of therapy, type of solid tumor, and tislelizumab alone or combined with chemotherapy. RESULTS Seven phase III RCTs with 3478 were included in the meta-analysis. Pooled analysis demonstrated that tislelizumab significantly improved ORR and DCR with (OR) of 2.59 (95% (CI) = 2.15-3.12, p < 0.00001) and 1.78 (95% CI = 1.43-2.21, p > 0.00001), respectively. Pooled HRs for OS and PFS were 0.71 (95% CI = 0.65-0.78, p > 0.00001) and 0.68 (95% CI = 0.54-0.84, p = 0.0005), respectively. CONCLUSION Overall, based on this meta-analysis, the available data strongly supports the utilization of tislelizumab in the treatment of malignant solid tumors. Abstract
INTRODUCTION Surgery is the preferred treatment for basal cell carcinoma (BCC), locally advanced or metastatic BCC, radiation therapy or systemic therapy can be considered. Programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1) inhibitors are rarely used to treat cutaneous BCC. In the present case, we found that tislelizumab, a PD-1 immunosuppressant, had a positive effect on BCC. PATIENT CONCERNS A 74-year-old male patient presented with a mass in the left back in October 2021, which was surgically removed and diagnosed as BCC. The patient was diagnosed with squamous lung cancer after presenting with a cough and coughing up a small amount of white, sticky sputum in December 2021. DIAGNOSIS BCC and squamous lung cancer. INTERVENTIONS Docetaxel + nedaplatin systemic chemotherapy combined with tislelizumab immunotherapy. OUTCOMES Both BCC and squamous lung cancer were significantly reduced in size. CONCLUSION After 2 cycles of immunotherapy with tislelizumab, the lung tumor shrank, the back mass disappeared, and the wound healed.

Abstract
Background Cancer cells activate different immune checkpoint (IC) pathways in order to evade immunosurveillance. Immunotherapies involving ICs either block or stimulate these pathways and enhance the efficiency of the immune system to recognize and attack cancer cells. In this way, the development of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) targeting ICs has significant success in cancer treatment. Recently, a systematic description of the mechanisms of action (MOA) of the mAbs has been introduced in IMGT/mAb-DB, the IMGT® database dedicated to mAbs for therapeutic applications. The characterization of these antibodies provides a comprehensive understanding of how mAbs work in cancer. Methods In depth biocuration taking advantage of the abundant literature data as well as amino acid sequence analyses from mAbs managed in IMGT/2Dstructure-DB, the IMGT® protein database, allowed to define a standardized and consistent description of the MOA of mAbs targeting immune checkpoints in cancer therapy. Results A fine description and a standardized graphical representation of the MOA of selected mAbs are integrated within IMGT/mAb-DB highlighting two main mechanisms in cancer immunotherapy, either Blocking or Agonist. In both cases, the mAbs enhance cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL)-mediated anti-tumor immune response (Immunostimulant effect) against tumor cells. On the one hand, mAbs targeting co-inhibitory receptors may have a functional Fc region to increase anti-tumor activity by effector properties that deplete Treg cells (Fc-effector function effect) or may have limited FcγR binding to prevent Teff cells depletion and reduce adverse events. On the other hand, agonist mAbs targeting co-stimulatory receptors may bind to FcγRs, resulting in antibody crosslinking (FcγR crosslinking effect) and substantial agonism. Conclusion In IMGT/mAb-DB, mAbs for cancer therapy are characterized by their chains, domains and sequence and by several therapeutic metadata, including their MOA. MOAs were recently included as a search criterion to query the database. IMGT® is continuing standardized work to describe the MOA of mAbs targeting additional immune checkpoints and novel molecules in cancer therapy, as well as expanding this study to other clinical domains.

Abstract
Background Abdominal lymph node (ALN) metastasis is associated with a poor prognosis in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) because of the limited number of effective therapeutic options available. Immunotherapy with immune checkpoint inhibitors, such as those targeting programmed death receptor-1 (PD-1), have produced encouraging results in patients with advanced HCC. Here, we report a complete response (CR) in a patient with advanced HCC and ALN metastasis after combination treatment with tislelizumab (a PD-1 inhibitor) and locoregional therapy. Case summary A 58-year-old man with HCC experienced progressive disease with multiple ALN metastases after undergoing transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE), radiofrequency ablation (RFA), and laparoscopic resection. Because the patient did not wish to receive systemic therapy, including chemotherapy and targeting therapy, we prescribed tislelizumab (as a single immunotherapeutic agent) together with RFA. After four tislelizumab treatment cycles, the patient achieved a CR without tumor recurrence for up to 15 months. Conclusion Tislelizumab monotherapy can be effectively used to treat advanced HCC with ALN metastasis. Moreover, the combination of locoregional therapy and tislelizumab is likely to further increase therapeutic efficacy.

Abstract
Background Tislelizumab is an anti-programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) monoclonal antibody engineered to minimize binding to Fcγ receptors. It has been used to treat several solid tumors. However, its efficacy and toxicity, and the predictive and prognostic value of baseline hematological parameters in patients with recurrent or metastatic cervical cancer (R/M CC) receiving tislelizumab remain unclear. Methods We reviewed 115 patients treated for R/M CC with tislelizumab from March 2020 to June 2022 in our institute. The antitumor activity of tislelizumab was assessed using RECIST v1.1. Associations between the baseline hematological parameters and efficacy of tislelizumab in these patients were analyzed. Results With a median follow-up of 11.3 months (range, 2.2-28.7), the overall response rate was 39.1% (95% CI, 30.1-48.2) and the disease control rate was 77.4% (95% CI, 69.6-85.2). The median progression-free survival (PFS) was 19.6 months (95% CI, 10.7 to not reached). The median overall survival (OS) was not reached. Treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs) of any grade occurred in 81.7% of the patients and only 7.0% of the patients experienced grade 3 or 4 TRAEs. Univariate and multivariate regression analyses showed that the level of pretreatment serum C-reactive protein (CRP) was an independent risk factor for the response (complete or partial response) to tislelizumab and the PFS of R/M CC patients treated with tislelizumab (P = 0.0001 and P = 0.002, respectively). R/M CC patients with elevated baseline CRP levels had a short PFS (P = 0.0005). Additionally, the CRP-to-albumin ratio (CAR) was an independent risk factor for the PFS and OS of R/M CC patients treated with tislelizumab (P = 0.001 and P = 0.031, respectively). R/M CC patients with an elevated baseline CAR had short PFS and OS (P < 0.0001 and P = 0.0323, respectively). Conclusions Tislelizumab showed promising antitumor activity and tolerable toxicity in patients with R/M CC. The baseline serum CRP levels and CAR showed potential for predicting the efficacy of tislelizumab and the prognosis of R/M CC patients receiving tislelizumab.
