Abstract
The objective of this study was to (1) assess via cross-sectional survey the prevalence of food insecurity among African Americans [AAs] after their most recent grocery shopping trip, and (2) examine the grocery shopping factors of importance and characteristics of food-insecure AA grocery shoppers. Most (70.4%) were food-insecure. Food-insecure grocery shoppers were significantly more likely to be younger, less educated, who often skipped meals and/or practiced fasting, accessed a food pantry, were SNAP recipients, were considered to not be in "good" health, and who had higher BMI compared to food-secure shoppers (p ≤ 0.03 * for all). Our data showed that AAs shopped for groceries a mean 2.20 ± 1.29 times per week, for low prices (72.1%), without a weekly budget (58.9%), with a grocery list (44.6%) or using an app (27.6%), for high-quality vegetables (27.5%), for good customer service (22.9%), for store brands (20.8%) and name brands (17.9%).Food-insecure shoppers were significantly more likely to grocery shop more times per week, have a weekly budget, and use an app, but were significantly less likely to report store brands, name brands, good customer service, and high-quality vegetables as grocery factors of importance (p ≤ 0.03 * for all). Grocery strategies such as shopping with a grocery app and/or grocery list could help food-insecure AAs reduce grocery trips, promote meal planning to save money, and avoid skipping meals/fasting, while eating healthier.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Migration-related changes in dietary patterns and other structural and individual factors affect weight-related health practices of individuals migrating from low-and-middle-income to high-income countries. Thus, individuals of ethnically diverse backgrounds may be disproportionately affected by poorer health outcomes, including weight-related health issues. Understanding how this community could be supported to adopt weight-related healthy practices such as optimum dietary and exercise behaviour is an important issue for public health research. Against this backdrop, we explored structural and individual factors that facilitate and constrain the uptake of weight management services among members of minority ethnic communities in Medway, England. METHODS Data were collected from audio-recorded interviews with 12 adult community members from minoritised ethnic communities using a semi-structured interview guide. Participants were recruited through a purposive and convenient sampling technique. Generated data were transcribed, coded into NVivo and analysed using the reflexive thematic analytical technique. RESULTS Results showed that social support and health benefits of weight management were the main motivating factors for weight management among the study participants. Conversely, systemic barriers, family commitment and caring responsibilities, changes in dietary patterns post-migration and cultural norms were major factors constraining participants from adopting weight management behaviours. CONCLUSION The results of this study indicate that structural and person-level factors serve as both facilitators and barriers to weight management among ethnically diverse communities in Medway, England. While our study is exploratory and opens doors for more studies among the population, we conclude that these minoritised communities could benefit from more equitable, tailored weight management programmes to support them in adopting weight-related practices.

Abstract
This report summarises a Forum conducted in June 2023 to explore the current state of the knowledge around the Eatwell Guide, which is the UK government's healthy eating tool, in relation to population and planetary health. The 1.5-day Forum highlighted the limited, albeit promising evidence linking higher adherence to the Eatwell Guide with favourable health outcomes, including reduced overall mortality risk, lower abdominal obesity in post-menopausal women and improved cardiometabolic health markers. Similarly, evidence was presented to suggest that higher adherence to the Eatwell Guide is associated with reduced greenhouse gas emissions. Presentations were given around cultural adaptations of the Eatwell Guide, including African Heritage and South Asian versions, which are designed to increase the acceptability and uptake of the Eatwell Guide in these communities in the United Kingdom. Presentations highlighted ongoing work relevant to the applications of the Eatwell Guide in randomised controlled trials and public health settings, including the development of a screening tool to quantify Eatwell Guide adherence. The Forum ended with a World Café-style event, in which the strengths and limitations of the Eatwell Guide were discussed, and directions for future research were identified. This Forum report serves as a primer on the current state of the knowledge on the Eatwell Guide and population and planetary health and will be of interest to researchers, healthcare professionals and public health officials.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Little is known about the specific dietary patterns in adult survivors of childhood cancer. OBJECTIVES We aimed to identify dietary patterns specific to childhood cancer survivors and examine their associations with sociodemographic and lifestyle factors. METHODS Adult survivors of childhood cancer (mean:31 ± 8 y; n = 3022) and noncancer controls (n = 497) in the St. Jude Lifetime Cohort self-reported diet over the past 12 mo using a validated food frequency questionnaire. Factor analysis with 48 predefined food groups was performed to identify foods consumed together. Subsequently, cluster analysis with energy-adjusted factor scores was used to categorize survivors into a mutually exclusive dietary pattern. Dietary patterns were the primary outcomes. Multivariable multinomial logistic regressions were used to cross-sectionally examine associations between sociodemographic and lifestyle factors and dietary patterns in cancer survivors. RESULTS Among the 4 dietary patterns identified, the fast-food pattern (36 %) was the most common, followed by the Western contemporary (30 %), the plant-based (20 %), and the animal-based (14 %) patterns in childhood cancer survivors. By contrast, the plant-based (38 %) and fast-food patterns (29 %) were prevalent in controls. In survivors, male sex, younger age, lower educational attainment, and physical inactivity were associated with the fast-food, Western contemporary, or animal-based pattern. Compared with non-Hispanic White survivors consuming the plant-based diet, non-Hispanic Black survivors were 2-5 times more likely to consume the fast-food [odds ratio (OR:= 2.76; 95 % CI: 1.82, 4.18) or the animal-based diet (OR: 5.61; 95 % CI: 3.58, 8.78)]. Moreover, survivors residing in the most deprived area were 2-3 times more likely to consume the fast-food, Western contemporary, or animal-based diet. CONCLUSIONS Unhealthy dietary patterns are prevalent in adult survivors of childhood cancer, especially those with lower socioeconomic status and racial minorities. Interventions to improve diet and health in childhood cancer survivors need to concurrently address disparities that contribute to adherence to healthy dietary practices.
