Abstract
Background The purpose of this study was to estimate the effect of remote nursing guidance based on WeChat platform for female patients receiving subcutaneous anticoagulation during the COVID-19 epidemic. Methods Retrospective analysis of clinical data, including demographic data and anticoagulation complications, of 126 female patients who received subcutaneous anticoagulation therapy and received remote nursing guidance using WeChat platform in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022. The Anti-Clot Treatment Scale (ACTS) and the World Health Organization Quality of Life-BREF (WHOQOL-BREF) scale were used to evaluate patients' satisfaction with anticoagulation and quality of life at the beginning of anticoagulation, half a month after anticoagulation, and after three months of anticoagulation. Results In total, 126 patients were involved in this study, all of them were female, 115 cases were natural pregnancy, 11 cases were assisted reproduction. This study included seven cases of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis, 100 cases of hypercoagulable state, 10 cases of antiphospholipid syndrome, and eight cases of protein S deficiency, one case of hyperhomocysteinemia. During the follow-up period, four patients (3.17%) had subcutaneous injection complications, including three cases of subcutaneous hemorrhage and one case of liquid leakage. A total of 123 patients had completed the planned anticoagulation therapy or were receiving anticoagulation therapy as planned, and three patients did not receive anticoagulation therapy as planned (zero cases lost contact, two cases changed treatment units, and one case refused treatment). ACTS score (55.03 ± 1.73) and WHOQOL-BREF score (62.18 ± 3.17) after three months of anticoagulation, ACTS score (54.18 ± 1.20) and WHOQOL-BREF score (60.37 ± 2.25) after half a month of anticoagulation was significantly higher than the ACTS score (47.81 ± 1.69) and WHOQOL-BREF score (55.25 ± 1.85) at the beginning of anticoagulation, and the difference was statistically significant (P value < 0.01). Conclusions During the COVID-19 pandemic, remote nursing instruction via the WeChat platform for female patients receiving subcutaneous anticoagulation can increase anticoagulation compliance, satisfaction, and quality of life.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES The purpose of this research was to assess the effect of telehealth management via WeChat on improving the quality of life of patients after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). METHODS In this study, we retrospectively collected the clinical data of 118 patients who underwent PCI and received remote health management from our hospital via WeChat from June 2021 to September 2021 (WeChat group). The clinical data of 114 patients who underwent PCI but did not receive remote health management from our hospital from September 2020 to December 2020 were also collected (conventional group). Anxiety, depression, and quality of life scale scores were compared between the 2 groups at 6 months postdischarge. RESULTS Six months postdischarge, patients in the WeChat group had significantly lower Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) (55.7 ± 7.2 vs 58.8 ± 6.4, P = .001) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) (56.0 ± 5.9 vs 58.2 ± 6.2, P = .007) scores than did those in the conventional group. Compared to those in the conventional group, the patients in the WeChat group had significantly greater 6 months post-discharge The World Health Organization Quality of Life - BREF scores in the following domains: physical (14.3 ± 1.7 vs 13.1 ± 1.7, P < .001 psychological (15.2 ± 1.3 vs 13.5 ± 1.5, P < .001 social relationship (12.9 ± 1.7 vs 12.3 ± 1.8, P = .01) and environmental (12.7 ± 2.0 vs 12.0 ± 1.9, P = .006). CONCLUSION The use of WeChat to carry out remote health management for patients who underwent PCI can be an effective way to provide high-quality hospital medical services to patients' families and can effectively alleviate patients' anxiety and depression and enhance their quality of life.

A study on infertility in China found that while 543 health care institutions are approved for assisted reproductive technology (ART), only 10.1% offer all ART services, with a significant skew toward the eastern regions, highlighting the accessibility challenges faced by rural and remote populations; this study recommends government measures including travel subsidies and education initiatives to improve ART access for economically disadvantaged individuals.

Abstract
Background The dissemination of online health information (OHI) on medication use via WeChat Official Accounts (WOAs) is an effective way to help primary care practitioners (PCPs) address drug-related problems (DRPs) in the community. Although an increasing number of primary care institutions in China have published WOA posts on medication use, their content and quality have not yet been assessed. Objective This study aimed to explore the general features and content of WOA posts on medication use published by community healthcare centers (CHCs) in Shanghai, China and to assess their quality of content. It also aimed to explore the factors associated with the number of post views. Methods From June 1 to October 31, 2022, two coauthors independently screened WOA posts on medication use published throughout 2021 by the CHCs in Shanghai. Content analysis was performed to analyze their general features (format, length, and source, etc.) and content (types of medicines and diseases). The QUEST tool was used to assess the quality of the posts. We compared the differences among posts published by CHCs in central urban areas and suburban areas, and used multiple linear regression to explore the factors associated with the number of post views. Results A total of 236 WOAs of interest published 37,147 posts in 2021, and 275 (0.74%) of them were included in the study. The median number of post views was 152. Thirty percent of the posts were reviewed by the CHCs' staff before publication and only 6% provided information on PCPs' consultations. The most commonly mentioned medicines and diseases in the posts were Chinese patent medicines (37.1%) and respiratory diseases (29.5%). The posts frequently provided information on indications (77%) and usage (56%) but rarely on follow-up (13%) and storage (11%). Of the posts, 94.9% had a total QUEST score < 17 (full score = 28). The median number of post views and total post quality scores did not significantly differ among the CHCs in central urban and suburban areas. In the multiple linear regression model, the number of post views was associated with scores of complementarity (B = 56.47, 95% CI 3.05, 109.89) and conflict of interest (B = -46.40, 95% CI -56.21, -36.60). Conclusion The quantity and quality of WOA posts on medication use published by CHCs in China need improvement. The quality of posts may partially impact the dissemination effect, but intrinsic causal associations merit further exploration.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the effect of using WeChat to guide preparation before transthoracic echocardiography (TTE) on reducing anxiety and improving the satisfaction of parents of infants with congenital heart disease (CHD). METHODS This study was a retrospective study conducted in a children's hospital. The clinical data of 44 patients and the anxiety and satisfaction data of their parents who received WeChat guidance were collected between December 2021 and January 2022 (the WeChat group). The corresponding data of 47 patients and their parents who received educational brochure guidance were collected between September 2021 and November 2021 (the routine group). Guidance was used to help the parents prepare for TTE performed by medical professionals. The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory scale and the Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire-18 (PSQ-18) were used. The data of the two groups were compared and analyzed. RESULTS The comparison of parental anxiety between the two groups showed that the scores of state anxiety and trait anxiety in the WeChat group were significantly lower than those in the routine group (p < 0.05). The comparison of the results of the PSQ-18 showed that the scores for general satisfaction, interpersonal manner, communication, time spent with the physician, and accessibility and convenience in the WeChat group were significantly higher than those in the routine group (p < 0.05). CONCLUSION Using WeChat to guide preparation before TTE for infants with CHD can effectively reduce the anxiety of their parents and improve their parents' satisfaction with medical treatment.

Abstract
Ovarian age assessment is an important indicator to evaluate the ovarian reserve function and reproductive potential of women. At present, the application of ovarian age prediction model in China needs further improvement and optimization to make it more suitable for the actual situation of women in China. In this study, we collected subjects and their data in three ways: firstly, we collected clinical data from a number of women go to local hospital, including healthy women and women with DOR or PCOS; secondly, we obtained data by recruited healthy women through CRO companies for a fee; thirdly, we collected data from a number of healthy women using WeChat applet. Using the data collected by CRO company and WeChat applet, we applied the generalized linear model to optimize the ovarian age prediction model. The optimized formula is: OvAge = exp (3.5254-0.0001*PRL-0.0231*AMH), where P = 0.8195 for PRL and P = 0.0003 for AMH. Applying the formula to the hospital population data set for testing, it showed that the predicted ovarian age in the healthy women was comparable to their actual age, with a root mean squared error (RMSE) = 5.6324. The prediction accuracy was high. These data suggest that our modification of the ovarian age prediction model is feasible and that the formula is currently a more appropriate model for ovarian age assessment in healthy Chinese women. This study explored a new way to collect clinical data, namely, an online ovarian age calculator developed based on a WeChat applet, which can collect data from a large number of subjects in a short period of time and is more economical, efficient, and convenient. In addition, this study introduced real data to optimize the model, which could provide insights for model localization and improvement.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of applying telehealth education to home care of infants after congenital heart disease (CHD) surgery. METHODS A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted from July 2020 to February 2021 in Fujian Children's Hospital to compare the home care condition of infants after CHD surgery between the intervention group and the control group. RESULTS At 3 months after discharge, parents' caring ability and CHD knowledge in the intervention group were significantly better than those in the control group and were significantly improved compared with those at discharge time (P < 0.05). The parental care burden in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group and was significantly lower than that at discharge time (P < 0.05). During the follow-up period, the rate of loss of follow-up and complications in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION Telehealth education via WeChat can effectively improve the knowledge of disease and home care ability of parents of infants after CHD surgery and reduce their home care burden, which can effectively reduce the incidence of complications and lost to follow-up rate after discharge.

Abstract
BACKGROUND With the implementation of the two-child policy in China, more couples have expressed the desire to have another child. We conducted this study to evaluate the incidence of infertility and risk factors in couples intending to have a first and second child. METHODS From 2013 to 2017, a prospective cohort study was conducted at the pre-pregnancy center of the International Peace Maternal and Child Health Hospital. The participants were selected by screening and random sampling couples who came to the pre-pregnancy center. Data regarding patient sociodemographic characteristics, reproductive and gynecological history, male disease history, and laboratory and imaging examination results were collected. Couples were followed up every 3 months until pregnancy or for 12 months, whichever came first. Multi-factor logistic regression was used to analyze risk factors for infertility. Adjusted odds ratios (aORs) and corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated and adjusted for potential confounding factors. RESULTS The overall infertility incidence was 16.95% (369/2177). The infertility incidence of "first child intention" and "second child intention" was 19.30% (355/1839) and 4.14% (14/338), respectively. This study found great differences in both infertility rate (P < 0.001) and risk factors between the two groups. Risk factors for "first child intention" infertility included advanced age (> 35 years) (aOR = 1.70, 95% CI 1.27-2.28), abnormal body mass index (BMI) (aOR = 1.58, 95% CI 1.31-6.26), longer menstrual periods (aOR = 4.47, 95% CI 2.25-8.88), endometrial polyps (aOR = 2.52, 95% CI 1.28-4.97), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) (aOR = 6.72, 95% CI 1.79-7.39), salpingostomy (aOR = 3.44, 95% CI 1.68-7.07), and history of mycoplasma (aOR = 1.54, 95% CI 1.09-2.40). However, in the "second child intention" group, clinical risk factors slightly differed and included leiomyoma (aOR = 5.60, 95% CI 1.06-29.76), and higher age (> 40 years) (aOR = 7.36, 95% CI 1.01-53.84). CONCLUSION The overall infertility rate in Shanghai is similar to that of other large cities in China. Marriage at advanced ages has become increasingly common. As such, the government must consider subsidies to encourage childbirth at childbearing ages, which can improve fertility levels.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of WeChat-based remote follow-up management on reducing the home care burden and anxiety of parents of premature infants. METHODS A randomized controlled study was conducted in our hospital, with 150 premature infants enrolled in this study, each with 75 cases in the intervention group and the control group. WeChat-based remote follow-up management was performed in the intervention group after discharge, while traditional outpatient follow-up management was performed in the control group. Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI) scale as the primary outcome was used to compare the parental care burden between the two groups. RESULTS At the 1-month follow-up, the ZBI (37.1 ± 8.3 vs. 54.2 ± 10.5 [mean ± SD], mean difference: 17.1, the 95% confidence interval for the mean difference: [14.07, 20.13], P = 0.016), Family Caregiver Task Inventory (FCTI) scale (23.1 ± 5.2 vs. 33.4 ± 6.7 [mean ± SD], mean difference: 10.3, the 95% confidence interval for the mean difference: [8.38, 12.22], P = 0.023), Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) (49.6 ± 8.5 vs. 60.2 ± 10.8 [mean ± SD], mean difference: 10.6, the 95% confidence interval for the mean difference: [7.49,13.71], P = 0.021) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) (48.2 ± 9.5 vs. 58.8 ± 11.2 [mean ± SD], mean difference: 10.6, the 95% confidence interval for the mean difference: [7.28, 13.92], P = 0.019) scores of the intervention group were lower than those of the control group, and the lower scores indicate better outcomes. CONCLUSION WeChat-based remote follow-up management of premature infants after discharge can effectively improve parents' ability to care and their psychological state and reduce burden of care.

Abstract
BACKGROUND To explore the feasibility and superiority of applying the WeChat platform in a midterm follow-up of surgical repair for ventricular septal defects in infants. METHODS Eighty-six infants with VSD who underwent surgical repair were divided into an outpatient follow-up group and a WeChat follow-up group. The clinical data, including complications, economic cost, time spent, loss to follow-up rate, and parents' satisfaction at the 3-month and 1-year follow-ups, were recorded and analysed. RESULTS There was no significant difference in the incidence of post-operative complications between the two groups. Although the loss to follow-up rate in the WFU group was lower than that of the OFU group, the difference was not statistically significant. The economic cost and time spent in the 3 months and 1 year after discharge in the WFU group were significantly lower than those in the OFU group. One year after discharge, the PSQ-18 score of the WFU group was significantly higher than that of the OFU group. CONCLUSION Compared with outpatient follow-up, the WeChat platform at the midterm follow-up after surgical repair of VSDs in infants has the advantages of saving time and economic costs and improves parents' satisfaction.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of telehealth education and care guidance via WeChat (Tencent Ltd., Shenzhen, China; a popular smartphone-based social media application) on improving the quality of life of parents of children with type-1 diabetes mellitus. METHODS A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted in our hospital from March 2019 to September 2020 to compare the quality of life of parents of children with type-1 diabetes mellitus in the intervention group and the control group. RESULTS Six months after discharge, the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores of parents in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group (p < 0.05). Compared with the SAS and SDS scores at discharge time, those scores of parents at 6 months after discharge time in intervention group were significantly lower (p < 0.05), while those scores of parents at 6 months after discharge time in control was similar (p > 0.05). Six months after discharge, the scores of the physiological field, psychological field, social relationship field, and environmental field in the intervention group were significantly higher than those of the control group according to the result of the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief Scale (WHOQOL-BREF; p < 0.05). CONCLUSION Using WeChat to provide telehealth education and home care guidance to the parents of children with type-1 diabetes mellitus can effectively relieve the anxiety and depression of the parents and improve their quality of life.

Abstract
Objective This study aimed to explore the effect of telehealth education on improving the parental care ability and postoperative nutritional status of infants after congenital heart disease surgery. Methods A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted at a provincial maternal and child hospital in southeastern China. A total of 84 infants were enrolled in the study, with 42 infants in the intervention group and 42 infants in the control group. Results Body weight, albumin, prealbumin, and hemoglobin of infants in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group one month after discharge (P<0.05). The STRONGkids score of infants in the intervention group was significantly higher than that of those in the control group one month after discharge (P<0.05). The Family Caregiver Task Inventory score of infants in the intervention group was significantly lower than that of those in the control group one month after discharge (P<0.05). Conclusion Performing telehealth education about home feeding and care guidance for parents of infants after congenital heart disease surgery can greatly improve parental care ability so that infants get better feeding and care, which can effectively improve the postoperative nutritional status of the infants.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of remote nutrition management on promoting the growth and development of neonates after congenital heart disease (CHD) surgery. MATERIALS AND METHODS This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 32 neonates after CHD surgery who received remote nutrition management from January 2021 to July 2021 in our hospital. The clinical data of 30 neonates after CHD surgery, who did not receive remote nutrition management from June 2020 to December 2020, was used as control. The growth and development of the two groups were compared. RESULTS Three months after discharge, the weight, height, and weight-for-age z score (WAZ) of the intervention group was significantly higher than those of the control group. The amount of milk in the intervention group was also significantly more than that of the control group, and more neonates in the intervention group added high-energy milk or breast milk fortifier than the intervention group. The parental care ability of the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the control group. The incidence of respiratory tract infection and readmission in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group. CONCLUSION As a new nutrition management strategy for neonates after CHD surgery, remote nutrition management can effectively improve the nutritional status of neonates and promote their growth and development.

Abstract
AIM This study aimed to explore the effect of performing remote health education via WeChat to improve the pre-operative nutritional status of non-restrictive ventricular septal defects (VSD). METHODS A prospective randomised controlled study was conducted in a provincial maternity and child hospital in China. Participants were randomised regarding education to the intervention group (WeChat) and the control group (leaflets). The nutritional status and complications of the patients were compared after intervening for 1 month. RESULTS Nutrient status comparison at 1 month after intervention showed that the body weight, head circumference, haemoglobin, albumin and pre-albumin of the WeChat group were significantly higher than those of the leaflet group (P < 0.05). The STRONGkids score of the WeChat group was significantly lower than that of the leaflet group (P < 0.05). The incidence of feeding intolerance and respiratory tract infection in the WeChat group was significantly lower than that found in the leaflet group (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of liver insufficiency and jaundice between the two groups (P > 0.05). CONCLUSION Providing pre-operative feeding and care guidance for parents of infants with non-restrictive VSD, via remote health education through WeChat, can effectively improve nutritional status and reduce the risk of malnutrition and feeding complications.

METHODS A prospective randomized controlled study was conducted in a provincial hospital in China from November 2020 to April 2021 to compare the quality of life of parents of infants with CHD surgery after discharge between the WeChat follow-up group and the outpatient follow-up group. A total of 84 patients (42 in each group) and 168 parents (84 in each group) participated in this study. RESULTS One month after discharge, the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) scores of parents in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P < 0.05). Compared with the SAS and SDS scores at discharge, the scores of parents in the intervention group were significantly lower at 1 month after discharge (P < 0.05), while the scores of parents in the control group were similar at 1 month after discharge (P > 0.05). At discharge, in both the intervention group and the control group, the SAS and SDS scores of the mothers were higher than those of the fathers (P < 0.05). One month after discharge, in the control group, the SAS and SDS scores of the mothers were higher than those of the fathers (P < 0.05). One month after discharge, in the intervention group, the SAS and SDS scores of the mothers were similar to those of the fathers (P > 0.05). The comparison of the SAS and SDS scores of parents with different education levels showed that in both the intervention group and control group, the lower the parents' educational levels, the higher their SAS and SDS scores (P < 0.05). One month after discharge, in the control group, the lower the parents' education levels, the higher their SAS and SDS scores (P < 0.05). One month after discharge, in the intervention group, the SAS and SDS scores were similar among parents with different educational levels. The results of the World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief scale showed that the scores of the physiological, psychological, social and environmental fields at 1 month after discharge in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION Providing health education and medical support to the parents of infants with CHD surgery after discharge via telemedicine can effectively relieve parents' anxiety and depression and improve their quality of life.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to explore the effect of applying WeChat in the follow-up and health education of children after congenital heart disease (CHD) surgery during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic. METHODS Data from 135 children were retrospectively analyzed. The care burden, anxiety, depression, and satisfaction of the parents of patients at home were analyzed and compared. RESULTS One month after discharge, the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS), Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI), and Patient Satisfaction Questionnaire-18 scores of the WeChat follow-up group were significantly better than those of the outpatient follow-up group (p < 0.05). Compared with the discharge time, the SAS, SDS, and ZBI scores were significantly improved in the WeChat follow-up group but not in the outpatient follow-up group (p < 0.05). CONCLUSION During the COVID-19 epidemic, the application of WeChat to the follow-up management of children after CHD surgery can effectively reduce care burden and relieve anxiety and depression in parents at home. It can also improve the satisfaction of parents with medical treatment.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the effect of WeChat follow-up management of infants who underwent ventricular septal defect (VSD) repair on parents' disease knowledge and quality of life. METHODS Participants were randomly assigned to an intervention group (n = 40) or a control group (n = 40). The intervention group was followed up with WeChat, while the control group was followed up using a traditional method. The disease knowledge, mental state, and quality of life of the two groups of parents were analyzed and compared. RESULTS During the 3-month follow-up period, the PedSQL (PedsQL family impact module) results showed that the overall score in the intervention group was significantly higher than that in the control group. The parents in the intervention group were better at managing "emotion control," "worry," and "family communication" than those in the control group. The results of the LKQCHD (Leuven congenital heart disease knowledge questionnaire) showed that the parents in the intervention group had a higher mastery of "basic knowledge and treatment of congenital heart disease," "related complications," and "postoperative rehabilitation" than those in the control group. CONCLUSION Knowledge education and psychological counseling for parents of children who underwent VSD repair through WeChat follow-up management can effectively improve parents' knowledge, relieve their anxiety and sadness, and improve their quality of life.
