Abstract
World-wide, pathogenic fungi such as Botrytis cinerea cause tremendous yield losses in terms of food production and post-harvest food decay. Many fungi produce inulin-type oligosaccharides (IOSs) from inulin through endo-inulinases which typically show a two domain structure. B.cinerea lacks a two domain endo-inulinase but contains a three domain structure instead. Genome mining revealed three and four domain (d4) enzymes in the fungal kingdom. Here, three and two domain enzymes were compared in their capacity to produce IOSs from inulin. Hill kinetics were observed in three domain enzymes as compared to Michaelis-Menten kinetics in two domain enzymes, suggesting that the N-terminal extension functions as a carbohydrate binding module. Analysis of the IOS product profiles generated from purified GF6, GF12, GF16 and GF18 inulins and extensive sugar docking approaches led to enhanced insights in the active site functioning, revealing subtle differences between the endo-inulinases from Aspergillus niger and B. cinerea. Improved insights in structure-function relationships in fungal endo-inulinases offer opportunities to develop superior enzymes for the production of specific IOS formulations to improve plant and animal health (priming agents, prebiotics).

Abstract
Bacterial biofilms, which consist of three-dimensional extracellular polymeric substance (EPS), not only function as signaling networks, provide nutritional support, and facilitate surface adhesion, but also serve as a protective shield for the residing bacterial inhabitants against external stress, such as antibiotics, antimicrobials, and host immune responses. Biofilm-associated infections account for 65-80% of all human microbial infections that lead to serious mortality and morbidity. Tremendous effort has been spent to address the problem by developing biofilm-dispersing agents to discharge colonized microbial cells to a more vulnerable planktonic state. Here, we discuss the recent progress of enzymatic eradicating strategies against medical biofilms, with a focus on dispersal mechanisms. Particularly, we review three enzyme classes that have been extensively investigated, namely glycoside hydrolases, proteases, and deoxyribonucleases.

Abstract
Kluyveromyces marxianus yeasts represent a valuable industry alternative due to their biotechnological potential to produce aromatic compounds. 2-phenylethanol and 2-phenylethylacetate are significant aromatic compounds widely used in food and cosmetics due to their pleasant odor. Natural obtention of these compounds increases their value, and because of this, bioprocesses such as de novo synthesis has become of great significance. However, the relationship between aromatic compound production and yeast's genetic diversity has yet to be studied. In the present study, the analysis of the genetic diversity in K. marxianus isolated from the natural fermentation of Agave duranguensis for Mezcal elaboration is presented. The results of strains in a haploid and diploid state added to the direct relationship between the mating type locus MAT with metabolic characteristics are studied. Growth rate, assimilate carbohydrates (glucose, lactose, and chicory inulin), and the production of aromatic compounds such as ethyl acetate, isoamyl acetate, isoamyl alcohol, 2-phenylethyl butyrate and phenylethyl propionate and the diversity in terms of the output of 2-phenylethanol and 2-phenylethylacetate by de novo synthesis were determinate, obtaining maximum concentrations of 51.30 and 60.39 mg/L by ITD0049 and ITD 0136 yeasts respectively.

Abstract
Fermentable oligo-, di-, monosaccharides and polyols (FODMAPs) have emerged as key contributors to digestive discomfort and intolerance to certain vegetables, fruits, and plant-based foods. Although strategies exist to minimize FODMAP consumption and exposure, exogenous enzyme supplementation targeting the fructan-type FODMAPs has been underexploited. The objective of this study was to test the hydrolytic efficacy of a food-grade, non-genetically engineered microbial inulinase preparation toward inulin-type fructans in the INFOGEST in vitro static simulation of gastrointestinal (GI) digestion. Purified inulin was shown to undergo acid-mediated hydrolysis at high gastric acidity as well as predominantly inulinase-mediated hydrolysis at lower gastric acidity. Inulinase dose-response simulations of inulin, garlic, and high-fructan meal digestion in the gastric phase suggest that as little as 50 inulinase units (INU) and up to 800 INU per serving promote fructan hydrolysis better than the control simulations without inulinase. Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) profiling of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) in the gastric digestas following inulinase treatment confirms the fructolytic activity of inulinase under simulated digestive conditions. Altogether, these in vitro digestion data support the use of microbial inulinase as an exogenous enzyme supplement for reducing dietary fructan-type FODMAP exposure.

Abstract
Inulin can be hydrolyzed by inulinases to yield inulo-oligosaccharides (IOSs), which have great application potential in the food and nutraceutical industries. However, conventional enzymatic production of IOSs is limited by long hydrolysis times and poor thermo-stability of inulinases. Here, the self-assembling protein scaffold EutM was engineered to co-immobilize exo-inulinase (EXINU) and endo-inulinase (ENINU) for synergistic hydrolysis of inulin to produce IOSs with 3 to 5 monosaccharide units (DP3-5 IOSs). The immobilization of EXINU/ENINU onto the EutM scaffold resulted in an increase of catalytic efficiency, a 65% increase of the Vmax of ENINU, as well as an increase of thermo-stability, with 4.26-fold higher residual activity of EXINU after 22 h-incubation at 50 °C. After optimization, two efficient production protocols were obtained, in which the yield and productivity of DP3-5 IOSs reached 80.38% and 70.86 g·(L·h)-1, respectively, which were at a high level in similar studies. Overall, this study provides an attractive self-assembling protein platform for the co-immobilization of inulinases, as well as optimized bioprocesses with great promise for the industrial production of DP3-5 IOSs.

Abstract
Kluyveromyces marxianus is the most suitable fungus for inulinase industrial production. However, the underlying transcriptional activation mechanism of the inulinase gene (INU1) is hitherto unclear. Here, we undertook genetic and biochemical analyses to elucidate that a glycolysis regulator KmGcr1p with unique Q-rich repeats is the key transcriptional activator of INU1. We determined that INU1 and glycolytic genes share similar transcriptional activation patterns, and that inulinase activity is induced by fermentable carbon sources including the hydrolysis products of inulin (fructose and glucose), which suggests a novel model of product feedback activation. Furthermore, all four CT-boxes in the INU1 promoter are important for KmGcr1p DNA binding in vitro, but the most downstream CT-box 1 primarily confers upstream activating sequence activity in vivo. More intriguingly, the use of artificial and natural GCR1 mutants suggests that the Q-rich repeats act as a functional module to maintain KmGcr1p transcriptional activity by contributing to its solubility and DNA binding affinity. Altogether, this study uncovers a novel transcriptional activation mechanism for the inulinase gene that is different from the previous understanding for filamentous fungi, but might have universal significance among inulinase-producing yeasts, thereby leading to a better understanding of the regulation mechanism of yeast inulinase genes.

Abstract
The current commercial plastic manufactures have been produced using petroleum-based resource. However, due to concerns over the resource depletion and the environmental sustainability, bioresource-based manufacturing processes have been developed to cope against these concerns. Bioresource-derived 2,5-furandicarboxylic acid (FDCA) can be utilized as a building block material for plastic manufactures. To date, numerous technologies have been developed for the production of FDCA using various types of bio-based feedstocks such as hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF), 6-C sugars, and polysaccharides. The commercial companies produce FDCA using HMF-based production processes due to their high production efficiency, but the high price of HMF is a problem bottleneck. Our review affords important information on breakthrough approaches for the cost-efficient and sustainable production of FDCA using raw plant feedstocks rich in inulin. These approaches include bioprocessing technology based on the direct use of raw plant feedstocks and biomodification of the target plant sources. For the former, an ionic liquid-based processing system is proposed for efficient pretreatment of raw plant feedstocks. For the latter, the genes encoding the key enzymes; sucrose:sucrose 1-fructoyltransferase (1-SST), fructan:fructan 1-fryuctosyltransferase (1-FFT), fructan 1-exohydrolase (1-FEH), and microbe-derived endoinulinase, are introduced for biomodification conducive to facilitating bioprocess and improving inulin content. These approaches would contribute to cost-efficiently and sustainably producing bio-based FDCA.

Abstract
Red yeasts of the genus Rhodotorula are of great interest to the biotechnological industry due to their ability to produce valuable natural products, such as lipids and carotenoids with potential applications as surfactants, food additives, and pharmaceuticals. Herein, we explored the biosynthetic potential of R. mucilaginosa 50-3-19/20B collected from the Mid-Atlantic Ridge using modern genomics and untargeted metabolomics tools. R. mucilaginosa 50-3-19/20B exhibited anticancer activity when grown on PDA medium, while antimicrobial activity was observed when cultured on WSP-30 medium. Applying the bioactive molecular networking approach, the anticancer activity was linked to glycolipids, namely polyol esters of fatty acid (PEFA) derivatives. We purified four PEFAs (1–4) and the known methyl-2-hydroxy-3-(1H-indol-2-yl)propanoate (5). Their structures were deduced from NMR and HR-MS/MS spectra, but 1–5 showed no anticancer activity in their pure form. Illumina-based genome sequencing, de novo assembly and standard biosynthetic gene cluster (BGC) analyses were used to illustrate key components of the PEFA biosynthetic pathway. The fatty acid producing BGC3 was identified to be capable of producing precursors of PEFAs. Some Rhodotorula strains are able to convert inulin into high-yielding PEFA and cell lipid using a native exo-inulinase enzyme. The genomic locus for an exo-inulinase enzyme (g1629.t1), which plays an instrumental role in the PEFA production via the mannitol biosynthesis pathway, was identified. This is the first untargeted metabolomics study on R. mucilaginosa providing new genomic insights into PEFA biosynthesis.

Abstract
Inulinase is a member of the glycoside hydrolase family 32 (GH32). It catalyzes the randomly hydrolyzation of 2,1-β-D-fructosidic linkages in inulin and plays a role in the production of high-fructose syrup. In this study, detailed roles of the conserved residues W79, F113, M117, R181, C239, and W334 of the exo-inulinase from Kluyveromyces cicerisporus CBS4857 (KcINU1) in substrate binding and stabilization were evaluated by in silico analysis and site-directed mutagenesis. These residues belong to the conserved WG, FSGSMV, RDP, ECP, and WQY regions of the GH32 and are located around the catalytic pocket of KcINU1. Zymogram assay showed relatively weaker band for F113W and similar band for M117A compared to the wild-type enzyme toward inulin and sucrose, whereas all other variants showed no observable stain on the native polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. These results were further confirmed with the dinitrosalicylic acid colorimetric method. It showed that the residual activities of F113W toward inulin and sucrose were 33.8 ± 3.3% and 96.2 ± 5.5%, respectively, and that of M117A were 103.8 ± 1.3% and 166.5 ± 12%, respectively. Results from fluorescence spectra indicated that there is a significant conformational change that happened in F113W compared to the wild-type enzyme, while M117A exhibited limited impact although the quenching effect was increased.

Abstract
Several yeasts, which are eukaryotic microorganisms, have long been used in different industries due to their potential applications, both for fermentation and for the production of specific metabolites. Kluyveromyces marxianus is one of the most auspicious nonconventional yeasts, generally isolated from wide-ranging natural habitats such as fermented traditional dairy products, kefir grain, sewage from sugar industries, sisal leaves, and plants. This is a food-grade yeast with various beneficial traits, such as rapid growth rate and thermotolerance that make it appealing for different industrial food and biotechnological applications. K. marxianus is a respiro-fermentative yeast likely to produce energy by either respiration or fermentation pathways. It generates a wide-ranging specific metabolites and could contribute to a variety of different food and biotechnological industries. Although Saccharomyces cerevisiae is the most widely used dominant representative in all aspects, many applications of K. marxianus in biotechnology, food and environment have only started to emerge nowadays; some of the most promising applications are reviewed here. The general physiology of K. marxianus is outlined, and then the different applications are discussed: first, the applications of K. marxianus in biotechnology, and then the recent advances and possible applications in food, feed and environmental industries. Finally, this review provides a discussion of the main challenges and some perspectives for targeted applications of K. marxianus in the modern food technology and applied biotechnology in order to exploit the full potential of this yeast which can be used as a cell factory with great efficiency.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Polyol esters of fatty acids (PEFA) are a kind of promising biosurfactants and mainly secreted by Rhodotorula strains. In addition, some strains of Rhodotorula are reliable producers of microbial lipid. Therefore, it is feasible to establish a one step fermentation process for efficient simultaneous production of PEFA and microbial lipids by a suitable Rhodotorula strain. RESULTS A newly isolated deep-sea yeast, Rhodotorula paludigena P4R5, was shown to simultaneously produce high level of intracellular lipid and extracellular PEFA. Under the optimized conditions, it could yield 48.5 g/L of PEFA and 16.9 g/L of intracellular lipid within 156 h from inulin during 10-L batch fermentation. The PEFA consisting of a mixture of mannitol esters of 3-hydroxy C14, C16 and C18 fatty acids with variable acetylation showed outstanding surface activity and emulsifying activity, while the fatty acids of the intracellular lipid were mainly C16 and C18 and could be high-quality feedstock for biodiesel production. CONCLUSION The deep-sea yeast strain R. paludigena P4R5 was an excellent candidate for efficient simultaneous of biosurfactants and biodiesel from inulin. Our results also suggested that the establishment of fermentation systems with multiple metabolites production was an effective approach to improve the profitability.

Abstract
Non-conventional yeasts are efficient cell factories for the synthesis of value-added compounds such as recombinant proteins, intracellular metabolites, and/or metabolic by-products. Most bioprocess, however, are still designed to use pure, ideal sugars, especially glucose. In the quest for the development of more sustainable processes amid concerns over the future availability of resources for the ever-growing global population, the utilization of organic wastes or industrial by-products as feedstocks to support cell growth is a crucial approach. Indeed, vast amounts of industrial and commercial waste simultaneously represent an environmental burden and an important reservoir for recyclable or reusable material. These alternative feedstocks can provide microbial cell factories with the required metabolic building blocks and energy to synthesize value-added compounds, further representing a potential means of reduction of process costs as well. This review highlights recent strategies in this regard, encompassing knowledge on catabolic pathways and metabolic engineering solutions developed to endow cells with the required metabolic capabilities, and the connection of these to the synthesis of value-added compounds. This review focuses primarily, but not exclusively, on Yarrowia lipolytica as a yeast cell factory, owing to its broad range of naturally metabolizable carbon sources, together with its popularity as a non-conventional yeast.

Abstract
To construct a high-performance engineered endo-inulinase for fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) production from inulin, an inulin binding module (IBM) was fused into either N- or C-terminal of an endo-inulinase. After heterologous expression, purification and characterization, the C-terminal fusion one (Eninu-IBM) with better activity, thermostability and inulin binding ability was employed for high-temperature in situ inulin hydrolysis in a 10-L fermentor. During this process, Eninu-IBM was first efficiently produced by the yeast cells at 28 °C for 96 h, and subsequently 1600 g unsterilized inulin per liter fermentation liquor was directly supplemented into the bioreactor for FOS production at 60 °C for 2 h. Finally, high purity of FOS (91.4%) were obtained with FOS titer, yield and productivity of 717.3 g/L, 0.912 gFOS/gInulin and 358.6 g/L/h, respectively. The in vitro prebiotic assay indicated that the final FOS products with main polymerization degrees of 3-5 were preferably fermented by beneficial bifidobacteria and lactobacilli.

Abstract
The enzyme endo-inulinase hydrolyzes inulin to short chain fructooligosaccharides (FOS) that are potential prebiotics with many health promoting benefits. Although the raw materials for inulin production are inexpensive and readily available, commercial production of FOS from inulin is limited due to inadequate availability of the enzyme source. This study aimed to identify the fungi capable of producing endo-inulinase based on the in silico analysis of proteins retrieved from non-redundant protein sequence database. The endo-inulinase of Aspergillus ficuum was used as reference sequence. The amino acid sequences with >90% sequence coverage, belonging to different fungi were retrieved from the database and used for constructing three-dimensional (3D) protein models using SWISS-MODEL and Bagheerath H. The 3D models of comparable quality as that of the reference endo-inulinase were selected based on QMEAN Z score. The selected models were evaluated and validated for different structural and functional qualities using Pro-Q, ProSA, PSN-QA, VERIFY-3D, PROCHECK, PROTSAV metaserver, STRAP, molecular docking, and molecular dynamic simulation analyses. A total of 230 proteins belonging to 53 fungal species exhibited sequence coverage >90%. Sixty one protein sequences with >60% sequence identity were modeled as endo-inulinase with higher QMEAN Z Score. The evaluations and validations of these 61 selected models for different structural and functional qualities revealed that 60 models belonging to 22 fungal species exhibited native like structure and unique motifs and residues as that of the reference endo-inulinase. Further, these models also exhibited similar kind of interaction between the active site around the conserved glutamate residue and substrate as that of the reference endo-inulinase. In conclusion, based on the current study, 22 fungal species could be identified as endo-inulinase producer. Nevertheless, further biological assessment of their capability for producing endo-inulinase is imminent if they are to be used for commercial endo-inulinase production for application in FOS industry.

Abstract
The Jerusalem artichoke is a perennial plant that belongs to the sunflower family. As a non-grain crop, Jerusalem artichoke possesses a number of desirable characteristics that make it a valuable feedstock for biorefinery, such as inulin content, rapid growth, strong adaptability, and high yields. This review provides a comprehensive introduction to renewable Jerusalem artichoke-based biomass resources and recent advances in bio-based product conversion. Furthermore, we discuss the latest in the development of inulinase-producing microorganisms and enhanced inulin hydrolysis capacity of microbes by genetic engineering, which lead to a more cost-effective Jerusalem artichoke biorefinery. The review is aimed at promoting Jerusalem artichoke industry and new prospects for higher value-added production.

Abstract
Exoinulinases-enzymes extensively studied in recent decades because of their industrial applications-need to be produced in suitable quantities in order to meet production demands. We describe here the production of an acid-stable recombinant inulinase from Aspergillus kawachii in the Pichia pastoris system and the recombinant enzyme's biochemical characteristics and potential application to industrial processes. After an appropriate cloning strategy, this genetically engineered inulinase was successfully overproduced in fed-batch fermentations, reaching up to 840 U/ml after a 72-h cultivation. The protein, purified to homogeneity by chromatographic techniques, was obtained at a 42% yield. The following biochemical characteristics were determined: the enzyme had an optimal pH of 3, was stable for at least 3 h at 55 °C, and was inhibited in catalytic activity almost completely by Hg+2. The respective Km and Vmax for the recombinant inulinase with inulin as substrate were 1.35 mM and 2673 μmol/min/mg. The recombinant enzyme is an exoinulinase but also possesses synthetic activity (i. e., fructosyl transferase). The high level of production of this recombinant plus its relevant biochemical properties would argue that the process presented here is a possible recourse for industrial applications in carbohydrate processing.

Abstract
Yarrowia lipolytica is a promising platform for the single cell oil (SCO) production. In this study, a transformant X+N8 in which exo- and endo-inulinase genes were co-expressed could produce an inulinase activity of 124.33 U/mL within 72 h. However, the inulinase activity of a transformant X2 carrying a single exo-inulinase gene was only 47.33 U/mL within 72 h. Moreover, the transformant X+N8 could accumulate 48.13% (w/w) SCO from inulin and the cell dry weight reached 13.63 g/L within 78 h, which were significantly higher than those of the transformant X2 (41.87% (w/w) and 11.23 g/L) under the same conditions. In addition, inulin hydrolysis and utilization of the transformant X+N8 were also more efficient than those of the transformant X2 during the fermentation process. These results demonstrated that the co-expression of the exo- and endo-inulinase genes significantly enhanced the SCO production from inulin due to the improvement of the inulinase activity and the synergistic action of exo- and endo-inulinase. Besides, over 95.01% of the fatty acids from the transformant X+N8 were C16-C18, especially C18:1 (53.10%), suggesting that the fatty acids could be used as feedstock for biodiesel production.

Abstract
Inulinases are important hydrolysing enzymes which specifically act on β-2, 1 linkages of inulin to produce fructose or fructooligosaccharides. Fungi, yeasts and bacteria are the potent microbial sources of inulinases. The data on bacterial inulinases is scarce as compared to other microbial sources. Inulinases yield from bacteria is very less as compared to fungal and yeast sources of inulinases. Submerged fermentation (SmF) is the method of choice for the production of inulinases from bacterial sources. Moreover, inulin is a potent substrate for the production of inulinases in SmF. Many bacterial inulinases have been reported to display magnificent environment abiding features and variability in their biophysical and biochemical properties. These properties have attracted intention of many researchers towards exploring adverse ecological niches for more distinctive inulinase producing bacterial strains. Inulinases are substantially important in current biotechnological era due to their numerous industrial applications. High fructose syrup and fructooligosaccharides are two major industrial applications of inulinases. Additionally, there are many reports on the production of various metabolites like citric acid, lactic acid, ethanol, biofuels, butanediol etc. using mixed cultures of inulinase producing organisms with other microorganisms. The present review mainly envisages inulinase producing bacterial sources, inulinase production, purification, characterization and their applications.

Abstract
After screening of over 300 yeast strains isolated from the mangrove ecosystems, it was found that Aureobasidium sp. P6 strain had the highest inulin-hydrolyzing activity. Under the optimal conditions, this yeast strain produced an inulin-hydrolyzing activity of 30.98 ± 0.8 U/ml after 108 h of a 10-l fermentation. After the purification, a molecular weight of the enzyme which had the inulin-hydrolyzing activity was estimated to be 47.6 kDa, and the purified enzyme could actively hydrolyze both sucrose and inulin and exhibit a transfructosylating activity at 30.0 % sucrose, converting sucrose into fructooligosaccharides (FOS), indicating that the purified enzyme was a β-D-fructofuranosidase. After the full length of a β-D-fructofuranosidase gene (accession number KU308553) was cloned from Aureobasidium sp. P6 strain, a protein deduced from the cloned gene contained the conserved sequences MNDPNGL, RDP, ECP, FS, and Q of a glycosidehydrolase GH32 family, respectively, but did not contain a conserved sequence SVEVF, and the amino acid sequence of the protein from Aureobasidium sp. P6 strain had a high similarity to that of the β-fructofuranosidase from any other fungal strains. After deletion of the β-D-fructofuranosidase gene, the disruptant still had low inulin hydrolyzing and invertase activities and a trace amount of the transfructosylating activity, indicating that the gene encoding an inulinase may exist in the Aureobasidium sp. P6 strain.

Abstract
Background Glycoside hydrolase family 32 (GH32) enzymes cleave the glycosidic bond between two monosaccharides or between a carbohydrate and an aglycone moiety. GH32 enzymes have been studied in prokaryotes and in eukaryotes but not in viruses. Findings This is the first analysis of GH32 enzymes in Bacillus subtilis phage SP10, ϕNIT1 and SPG24. Phylogenetic analysis, molecular docking and secretability predictions suggest that phage GH32 enzymes function as levan (fructose homopolysaccharide) fructotransferase. Conclusions We showed that viruses also contain GH32 enzymes and that our analyses in silico strongly suggest that these enzymes function as levan fructotransferase. Abstract
In this study, in order to directly and efficiently convert inulin into pullulan, the INU1 gene from Kluyveromyces maximum KM was integrated into the genomic DNA and actively expressed in the high pullulan producer Aureobasidium melanogenum P16 isolated from the mangrove ecosystem. After the ability to produce pullulan from inulin by different transformants was examined, it was found that the recombinant strain EI36, one of the transformants, produced 40.92 U/ml of inulinase activity while its wild-type strain P16 only yielded 7.57 U/ml of inulinase activity. Most (99.27 %) of the inulinase produced by the recombinant strain EI36 was secreted into the culture. During the 10-l fermentation, 70.57 ± 1.3 g/l of pullulan in the fermented medium was attained from inulin (138.0 g/l) within 108 h, high inulinase activity (42.03 U/ml) was produced within 60 h, the added inulin was actively hydrolyzed by the secreted inulinase, and most of the reducing sugars were used by the recombinant strain EI36. This confirmed that the genetically engineered yeast of A. melanogenum strain P16 was suitable for direct pullulan production from inulin.

Abstract
In this study, an inulinase-producing yeast strain 2F5 of Rhodosporidium toruloides was obtained. It was found that the yeast strain 2F5 could produce higher amount of oil from inulin and larger lipid bodies in its cells than any other yeast strains tested in this study. Under the optimal conditions, 62.14% (w/w) of lipid based on cell dry weight and 15.82g/l of the dry cell mass were produced from 6.0% (w/v) inulin at flask level, leaving 0.92% (w/v) of total sugar in the fermented medium. During 2-l fermentation, 70.36% (w/w) of lipid based on cell dry weight and 15.64g/l of the dry cell mass were produced from 6.0% (w/v) inulin. Over 99.09% of the fatty acids from the yeast strain 2F5 grown on inulin was C16:0, C18:0, C18:1 and C18:2, especially C18:1 (52.2%). The biodiesel prepared using the lipids produced by the yeast strain 2F5 could be burnt well.
