Abstract
Soil organic carbon is a vital component of the soil carbon pool. Investigation of its composition and dynamics is crucial for enhancing carbon sequestration in soils and for stabilizing the global carbon cycle. In recent years, considerable research has focused on the interactions between soil organic carbon components and their responses to varied land use and agricultural practices. However, the mechanism of soil organic carbon sequestration and response characteristics of soil organic carbon components to soil carbon pools are still subject to some debate. To the best of our knowledge, no researchers have used bibliometric analyses to explore the field of soil organic carbon components. This study thus involved the use of bibliometric techniques to identify research hotspots in the study of organic carbon components over the last 23 years and future trends in research development. Specifically, we performed a comprehensive literature review of 607 documents pertaining to organic carbon components using the Web of Science database, covering the period from 2000 to 2023. Employing CiteSpace, we visualized and analyzed the data across national, institutional, disciplinary, and keyword dimensions. In this study, we conducted a comprehensive, systematic, and quantitative analysis of publications pertaining to organic carbon component research. The results indicate that researchers in the United States and China have substantially influenced the study of soil organic carbon components. Since 2000, the United States has pioneered the study of soil organic carbon components, establishing a foundational role in this field of research. Meanwhile, China leads with the largest number of publications and the most diverse research directions in this field. Among the institutions involved in such research, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences has the highest number of publications. The investigation of soil organic carbon components within agricultural systems is inherently multidisciplinary, with the most comprehensive research being performed within the soil sciences discipline. At present, the focal areas of research on soil organic carbon components predominantly revolve around the impacts of straw return to fields, varying land-use changes, restoration of vegetation, and the reciprocal effects of soil organic carbon components on the restoration of vegetation. The findings of this work highlight the research hotspots within the field of soil organic carbon components and the emerging trends within this field. This work offers novel insights into the dynamics of soil organic carbon components, potentially guiding future studies in this vital field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Substantial evidence indicates that measuring leukocyte telomere length (LTL) is a useful tool that may be considered as a valuable biomarker of individual biological age, correlating with numerous chronic disorders. However, to date, there has been a lack of in-depth understanding regarding the current landscape and forthcoming developments in the LTL field. Therefore, this study aimed to utilize bibliometric methods to summarize the knowledge structure, current focus, and emerging directions in this field. METHOD Scientific publications on LTL spanning the period from 2000 to 2022 were acquired from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Several bibliometric tools including CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and an online website were utilized for bibliometric analysis. The primary evaluations encompassed investigating the major contributors and their collaborative relationships among countries/regions, institutions, and authors, conducting co-citation analyses of authors, journals, as well as reference, examining reference bursts, as well as performing co-occurrence analyses of keywords. RESULTS There are 1818 papers with 66,668 citations identified. Both the annual publication and citation counts on LTL exhibited significant upward trends. The United States emerged as the most prominent contributor, as evidenced by the greatest volume of papers and the highest H-index value. University of California San Francisco and Aviv A were identified as the most productive institution and author in this domain, respectively. Reference analysis revealed that longitudinal study and mendelian randomization study are the most concerned research method in this field recently. Keywords analysis showed that the most concerned diseases in LTL fields were aging, inflammation, cardiovascular diseases, endocrine diseases, neurological and psychiatric diseases, and cancers. In addition, the following research directions such as "COPD", "mendelian randomization", "adiposity", "colorectal cancer", "National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHNES)", "telomerase reverse transcriptase", "pregnancy" have garnered increasing attention in recent times and hold the potential to evolve into research foci in the foreseeable future. CONCLUSION This is the first bibliometric study that provides comprehensive overview of LTL research. The findings of this study could become valuable references for investigators to explore and address the current and emerging challenges in LTL research.

Abstract
Diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) is a prevalent disease, and the relevant literature has been increasingly investigated over the past years. Consequently, it is imperative to conduct a scientific and comprehensive DPN research field bibliometric analysis. This study aims to summarize and visualize the literature distribution laws, the research hotspots, and the development trends in DPN using bibliometric methods. We searched all relevant documents published from 2011 to 2023 in the Web of Science Core Collection. Bibliometric analysis and network visualization were performed using VOSviewer, R-bibliometrix, and CiteSpace tools, focusing on countries, institutions, authors, journals, highly cited papers, references, and keywords. This study included a total of 2708 documents. The annual number of publications in the field has notably increased. China, the USA, and the UK take on critical significance in DPN research. The University of Manchester in the UK has the highest number of publications (109). Malik has the most publications (86). Tesfaye literature has been most frequently cited by scholars of DPN research. The Journal of Diabetes and its Complications and Frontiers in Endocrinology have the most publications (45 each). Diabetes Care stands out with the highest impact factor (16.200), number of citations (2516), and H-index (27) among the number of publications top 10 journals. The paper "Colloca, L. et al Neuropathic pain. Nature Reviews Disease Primers. 2017, 3 (1):1-19" has the highest number of citations (1224 times). The most critical co-cited reference is "Tesfaye S, 2010, DIABETES CARE, V33, P2285" (cited 408 times). Keywords like "type 2 diabetes," "diagnosis," "association," "retinopathy," "risk factors," "progression," "corneal confocal microscopy," "nephropathy," "balance," "microvascular complications," "inflammation," "disease," and "insulin resistance" represent the recent research hotspots. The development, research hotspots, and future trends of the global DPN domain from 2011 to 2023 were summarized and visualized in this study. This study can present more insights into the general situation of DPN research and provide a useful reference for clinical decision-making and directions of subsequent research.

Abstract
Objective: To conduct bibliometric analysis of the application of inorganic nanomaterials to autoimmune diseases to characterize current research trends and to visualize past and emerging trends in this field in the past 15 years. Methods: The evolution and thematic trends of the application of inorganic nanomaterials to autoimmune diseases from January 1, 1985, to March 15, 2024, were analyzed by bibliometric analysis of data retrieved and extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database. A total of 734 relevant reports in the literature were evaluated according to specific characteristics such as year of publication, journal, institution, country/region, references, and keywords. VOSviewer was used to build co-authorship analysis, co-occurrence analysis, co-citation analysis, and network visualization. Some important subtopics identified by bibliometric characterization are further discussed and reviewed. Result: From 2009 to 2024, annual publications worldwide increased from 11 to 95, an increase of 764%. ACS Nano published the most papers (14) with the most citations (1372). China (230 papers, 4922 citations) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (36 papers, 718 citations) are the most productive and influential country and institution, respectively. The first 100 keywords were co-clustered to form four clusters: (1) the application of inorganic nanomaterials in drug delivery, (2) the application of inorganic nano-biosensing to autoimmune diseases, (3) the use of inorganic nanomaterials for imaging applied to autoimmune diseases, and (4) the application of inorganic nanomaterials in the treatment of autoimmune diseases. Combination therapy, microvesicles, photothermal therapy (PTT), targeting, diagnostics, transdermal, microneedling, silver nanoparticles, psoriasis, and inflammatory cytokines are the latest high-frequency keywords, marking the emerging frontier of inorganic nanomaterials in the field of autoimmune diseases. Sub-topics were further discussed to help researchers determine the scope of research topics and plan research directions. Conclusion: Over the past 39 years, the application of inorganic nanotechnology to the field of autoimmune diseases shows extensive cooperation between countries and institutions, showing a continuous increase in the number of reports in the literature, and has clinical translation prospects. Future research should further improve the safety of inorganic nanomaterials, clarify the mechanism of action of nanomaterials, establish a standardized nanomaterial preparation and performance evaluation system, and ultimately achieve the goal of early detection and precise treatment of autoimmune diseases.

Abstract
Introduction With the discovery of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), it is considered as a valuable tool for supporting the treatment of severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). It has gained increasing attention, particularly during the COVID-19 epidemic. However, to date, no relevant bibliometric research on the association between ECMO and ARDS (ECMO-ARDS) has been reported. Our study aimed to summarize the knowledge structure and research focus of ECMO-ARDS through a bibliometric analysis. Method Publications related to ECMO-ARDS from 2000 to 2022 were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). Research data underwent bibliometric and visual analysis by using CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and one online analysis platform. By analyzing the countries, institutions, journals, authors, the geographic distribution of research contributions as well as the leading institutions and researchers in this field were identified. Additionally, prominent journals and highly cited publications were highlighted, indicating their influence and significance in the field. Moreover, the co-citation references and co-occurring keywords provided valuable information on the major research topics, trends, and potential emerging frontiers. Results A total of 1,565 publications from 60 countries/regions were retrieved. The annual publication number over time revealed exponential growth trends (R2 = 0.9511). The United States was dominant in ECMO-ARDS research, whereas the Univ Toronto was most productive institution. Prof Combes A published the most publications in this area. ASAIO Journal and Intensive Care Medicine were the most active and co-cited journals, respectively. Reference co-citation analysis showed that current research focus has shifted to COVID-related ARDS, multi-center studies, as well as prone positioning. Apart from the keywords "ECMO" and "ARDS", other keywords appearing at high frequency in the research field were "COVID-19", "mechanical ventilation", "extracorporeal life support", "respiratory failure", "veno-venous ECMO", "SARS-CoV-2", "outcome". Among them, keywords like "mortality", "veno-venous ECMO", "epidemiology", "obesity", "coagulopathy", "lung ultrasound", "inhalation injury", "noninvasive ventilation", "diagnosis", "heparin", "cytokine storm" has received growing interest in current research and also has the potential to continue to become research hotspots in the near future. Conclusion This bibliometric analysis offers a comprehensive understanding of the current state of ECMO-ARDS research and can serve as a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders in exploring future research directions and fostering collaborations in this critical field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs) are one of the most severe and popular complications of diabetes. The persistent non-healing of DFUs is the leading cause of ampu-tation, which causes significant mental and financial stress to patients and their families. Macrophages are critical cells in wound healing and perform essential roles in all phases of wound healing. However, no studies have been carried out to systematically illustrate this area from a scientometric point of view. Although there have been some bibliometric studies on diabetes, reports focusing on the investigation of macrophages in DFUs are lacking. AIM To perform a bibliometric analysis to systematically assess the current state of research on macrophage-related DFUs. METHODS The publications of macrophage-related DFUs from January 1, 2004, to December 31, 2023, were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection on January 9, 2024. Four different analytical tools: VOSviewer (v1.6.19), CiteSpace (v6.2.R4), HistCite (v12.03.07), and Excel 2021 were used for the scientometric research. RESULTS A total of 330 articles on macrophage-related DFUs were retrieved. The most published countries, institutions, journals, and authors in this field were China, Shanghai Jiao Tong University of China, Wound Repair and Regeneration, and Aristidis Veves. Through the analysis of keyword co-occurrence networks, historical direct citation networks, thematic maps, and trend topics maps, we synthesized the prevailing research hotspots and emerging trends in this field. CONCLUSION Our bibliometric analysis provides a comprehensive overview of macrophage-related DFUs research and insights into promising upcoming research.

Abstract
Introduction Recurrent ovarian cancer (ROC) presents a dismal prognosis, persistently devoid of efficacious therapeutic strategies. Over the past decade, significant shifts have transpired in ROC management, marked by the identification of novel therapeutic targets and advancements in biomarker research and innovation. Since bibliometrics is an effective method for revealing scientific literature, we conducted a bibliometric analysis of literature pertaining to ROC. Our exploration encompassed identifying emerging research trends and common patterns, analyzing collaborative networks, and anticipating future directions within this clinical context. Methods We conducted a search in the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) to acquire relevant articles as our dataset, which were then exported using R-Studio-2023.12.0-369 software. The Bibliometrix R package was utilized to perform visual analyses on countries, institutions, journals, authors, landmark articles, and keywords within this research field. Results A total of 1538 articles and 173 reviews published between 2014 and 2023 were eventually retrieved. The annual growth rate of scientific production was 4.27%. The USA led the way in the number of published works, total citations, and collaboration. Gynecologic Oncology was the most favoured journal in this research field. Vergote I from the University Hospital Leuven, was the most influential author. At last, the most prominent keywords were "chemotherapy" (n = 124), "bevacizumab" (n = 87), and "survival" (n = 65). Clinical outcomes (prognosis, survival), chemotherapy, bevacizumab, and PARP inhibitors (olaparib, niraparib) represented the basic and transversal themes, while antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) and drug resistance were emerging themes. Cytoreduction surgical procedures and tamoxifen were niche themes, while immunotherapy and biomarkers were motor themes and had high centrality. Conclusion The trends in the ROC research field over the past decade were revealed through bibliometric analysis. Platinum resistance, ADC, and immunotherapy have emerged as the current prominent research topics.

Abstract
Metastasis causes greater than 90% of cancer-associated deaths, presenting huge challenges for detection and efficient treatment of cancer due to its high heterogeneity and widespread dissemination to various organs. Therefore, it is imperative to combat cancer metastasis, which is the key to achieving complete cancer eradication. Immunotherapy as a systemic approach has shown promising potential to combat metastasis. However, current clinical immunotherapies are not effective for all patients or all types of cancer metastases owing to insufficient immune responses. In recent years, immunological nanomaterials with intrinsic immunogenicity or immunomodulatory agents with efficient loading have been shown to enhance immune responses to eliminate metastasis. In this review, we would like to summarize various types of immunological nanomaterials against metastasis. Moreover, this review will summarize a series of immunological nanomaterial-mediated immunotherapy strategies to combat metastasis, including immunogenic cell death, regulation of chemokines and cytokines, improving the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment, activation of the STING pathway, enhancing cytotoxic natural killer cell activity, enhancing antigen presentation of dendritic cells, and enhancing chimeric antigen receptor T cell therapy. Furthermore, the synergistic anti-metastasis strategies based on the combinational use of immunotherapy and other therapeutic modalities will also be introduced. In addition, the nanomaterial-mediated imaging techniques (e.g., optical imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, photoacoustic imaging, surface-enhanced Raman scattering, radionuclide imaging, etc.) for detecting metastasis and monitoring anti-metastasis efficacy are also summarized. Finally, the current challenges and future prospects of immunological nanomaterial-based anti-metastasis are also elucidated with the intention to accelerate its clinical translation.

Abstract
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a minimally invasive therapeutic modality employed for the treatment of various types of cancers, localized infections, and other diseases. Upon illumination, the photo-excited photosensitizer generates singlet oxygen and other reactive species, thereby inducing cytotoxicity in the target cells. The hypoxic tumour microenvironment (TME), however, poses a limitation on the supply of oxygen in tumour tissues. Moreover, under such conditions, tumour metastasis and drug resistance frequently occur, further compromising the efficacy of PDT in combating tumours. Traditionally, type I photosensitizers with lower oxygen consumption demonstrate significant potential in overcoming hypoxic environments and play a crucial role in determining the therapeutic efficacy of PDT because type I photosensitizers can generate highly cytotoxic free radicals. In comparison, type II photosensitizers exhibit high oxygen dependence. The rate of reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation in the type II process is significantly higher than that in the type I process. Thus, the efficiency and selectivity of PDT depend on the properties of the photosensitizer. Here, the recent development and application of type I and type II photosensitizers, mainly in the past year, are summarized. The design methods, electronic structures, photophysical properties, lipophilic properties, electric charge, and other molecular characteristics of these photosensitizers are discussed in detail. These modifications alter the microstructure of photosensitizers and directly impact the results of PDT. The main content of this paper will have a positive promoting and inspiring effect on the future development of PDT.

Abstract
Background Marburg virus (MARV), a close relative of Ebola virus, could induce hemorrhagic fevers in humans with high mortality rate. In recent years, increasing attention has been paid to this highly lethal virus due to sporadic outbreaks observed in various African nations. This bibliometric analysis endeavors to elucidate the trends, dynamics, and focal points of knowledge that have delineated the landscape of research concerning MARV. Methods Relevant literature on MARV from 1968 to 2023 was extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Following this, the data underwent bibliometric analysis and visualization procedures utilizing online analysis platform, CiteSpace 6.2R6, and VOSviewer 1.6.20. Three different types of bibliometric indicators including quantitative indicator, qualitative indicators, and structural indicators were used to gauge a researcher's productivity, assess the quality of their work, and analyze publication relationships, respectively. Results MARV is mainly prevalent in Africa. And approximately 643 confirmed cases have been described in the literature to date, and mortality observed was 81.2 % in overall patients. A total of 1014 papers comprising 869 articles and 145 reviews were included. The annual publications showed an increasing growth pattern from 1968 to 2023 (R2 = 0.8838). The United States stands at the forefront of this discipline, having dedicated substantial financial and human resources to scientific inquiry. However, co-authorship analysis showed the international research collaboration needs to be further strengthened. Based on reference and keywords analysis, contemporary MARV research encompasses pivotal areas: primarily, prioritizing the creation of prophylactic vaccines to impede viral spread, and secondarily, exploring targeted antiviral strategies, including small-molecule antivirals or MARV-specific monoclonal antibodies. Additionally, a comprehensive grasp of viral transmission, transcription, and replication mechanisms remains a central focus in ongoing investigations. And future MARV studies are expected to focus on evaluating clinical trial safety and efficacy, developing inhibitors to contain viral spread, exploring vaccine immunogenicity, virus-host association studies, and elucidating the role of neutralizing antibodies in MARV treatment. Conclusion The present study offered comprehensive insights into the contemporary status and trajectories of MARV over the past decades. This enables researchers to discern novel collaborative prospects, institutional partnerships, emerging topics, and research forefronts within this domain.

Abstract
Tumor vascular normalization profoundly affects the advancement of cancer therapy. Currently, with the rapid increase in research on tumor vascular normalization, few analytical and descriptive studies have investigated the trends in its development, key research power, present research hotspots, and future outlooks. In this study, articles and reviews published between January 1, 2003, and October 29, 2022 were retrieved from Web of Science database. Subsequently, published research trends, countries/regions, institutions, authors, journals, references, and keywords were analyzed based on traditional bibliometric laws (such as Price's exponential growth, Bradford's, Lotka's, and Zipf's). Our results showed that the last two decades have seen an increase in tumor vascular normalization research. USA emerged as the preeminent contributor to the field, boasting the highest H-index and accruing the greatest quantity of publications and citations. Among institutions, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard University made significant contributions, and Professor RK Jain was identified as a key leader in this field. Out of 583 academic journals, Cancer Research and Clinical Cancer Research published the most articles on vascular normalization. The research focal points in the field primarily include immunotherapy, tumor microenvironments, nanomedicine, and emerging frontier themes such as metabolism and mechanomedicine. Concurrently, the challenges of vascular normalization in cancer are discussed as well. In conclusion, the study presented a thorough analysis of the literature covering the past 20 years on vascular normalization in cancer, highlighting leading countries, institutions, authors, journals, and the emerging research focal points in this field. Future studies will advance the ongoing efforts in the field of tumor vascular normalization, aiming to enhance our ability to effectively manage and treat cancer.

Abstract
Objective The aim of the current study was to provide a comprehensive picture of tACS-related research in the last decade through a bibliometric approach in order to systematically analyze the current status and cutting-edge trends in this field. Methods Articles and review articles related to tACS from 2013 to 2022 were searched on the Web of Science platform. A bibliometric analysis of authors, journals, countries, institutions, references, and keywords was performed using CiteSpace (6.2.R2), VOSviewer (1.6.19), Scimago Graphica (1.0.30), and Bibliometrix (4.2.2). Results A total of 602 papers were included. There was an overall increase in annual relevant publications in the last decade. The most contributing author was Christoph S. Herrmann. Brain Stimulation was the most prolific journal. The most prolific countries and institutions were Germany and Harvard University, respectively. Conclusion The findings reveal the development prospects and future directions of tACS and provide valuable references for researchers in the field. In recent years, the keywords "gamma," "transcranial direct current simulation," and "Alzheimer's disease" that have erupted, as well as many references cited in the outbreak, have provided certain clues for the mining of research prefaces. This will act as a guide for future researchers in determining the path of tACS research.

Abstract
Globally, the COVID-19 pandemic had a significant impact on the health, social, and economic systems, triggering lasting damage and exposing the complexity of the problem beyond just being a health emergency. This crisis has highlighted the need for a comprehensive and collaborative strategy to successfully counter infectious diseases and other global challenges. With the COVID-19 pandemic pushing One Health to the forefront of global health and sustainable development agendas, this concept has emerged as a potential approach for addressing these challenges. In the context of COVID-19, this study investigates global knowledge about One Health by examining its state, significant contributions, and future directions. It seeks to offer an integrated framework of insights guiding the development of well-informed decisions. A comprehensive search using the Scopus database was conducted, employing specific terms related to One Health and COVID-19. VOSviewer 1.6.19 software was used to generate network visualization maps. Countries' research output was adjusted based on their gross domestic product (GDP) and population size. The study identified a total of 527 publications. The United States led with 134 documents (25.4%), but India topped the adjusted ranking. One Health journal stood as the most common outlet for disseminating knowledge (49 documents; 9.3%), while Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the United States emerged as the most prolific institution (13 documents; 2.5%). Key topics were related to the virus transmission mechanisms, climate change impacts, antimicrobial resistance, ecosystem health, preparedness, collaboration, community engagement, and developing of efficient surveillance systems. The study emphasizes how critical it is to capitalize on the present momentum of COVID-19 to advance One Health concepts. Integrating social and environmental sciences, and a variety of professions for better interaction and collaboration is crucial. Additionally, increased funding for developing countries, and legislative empowerment are vital to advance One Health and boost disease prevention.

Abstract
Borderline personality disorder (BPD), a complex and severe psychiatric disorder, has become a topic of considerable interest to current researchers due to its high incidence and severity of consequences. There is a lack of a bibliometric analysis to visualize the history and developmental trends of researches in BPD. We retrieved 7919 relevant publications on the Web of Science platform and analyzed them using software CiteSpace (6.2.R4). The results showed that there has been an overall upward trend in research interest in BPD over the past two decades. Current research trends in BPD include neuroimaging, biological mechanisms, and cognitive, behavioral, and pathological studies. Recent trends have been identified as "prevention and early intervention", "non-pharmacological treatment" and "pathogenesis". The results are like a reference program that will help determine future research directions and priorities.

Abstract
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a therapeutic approach that has gained significant attention in recent years with its promising impact on the immune system. Recent studies have shown that PDT can modulate both the innate and adaptive arms of the immune system. Currently, numerous clinical trials are underway to investigate the effectiveness of this method in treating various types of cancer, as well as to evaluate the impact of PDT on immune system in cancer treatment. Notably, clinical studies have demonstrated the recruitment and activation of immune cells, including neutrophils, macrophages, and dendritic cells, at the treatment site following PDT. Moreover, combination approaches involving PDT and immunotherapy have also been explored in clinical trials. Despite significant advancements in its technological and clinical development, further studies are needed to fully uncover the mechanisms underlying immune activation by PDT. The main objective of this review is to comprehensively summarize and discuss both ongoing and completed studies that evaluate the impact of PDT of cancer on immune response.

Abstract
Objectives Perform a bibliometric analysis on the role of LAG-3 in the domain of cancer, elucidate the prevailing areas of research, and visually depict the evolutionary trajectory and prospective directions of LAG-3 research over the past twenty-three decades. Materials and methods Between 2000 and 2023, a comprehensive review of scholarly articles pertaining to LAG-3 research in the context of cancer was carried out using the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database. Bibliometric analysis can be conducted by taking advantage of VOSviewer (version 1.6.16) and CiteSpace (version 6.2.R4). Create a network diagram to visually represent various authors, countries, and organizations while assessing the publishing years, journals, references, and keywords. Results In conclusion, 1841 records were identified and published in 587 publications. These records were authored by 12,849 individuals affiliated with 2491 institutes across 74 countries. There has been a substantial surge in publications subsequent to 2013. The USA, China, and Germany gave the majority of records, amounting to 69.69%. American institutions actively engage in collaboration with institutions located in other countries. Triebel, F., Vignali, Dario A. A., Workman, Creg J. Drake, Charles G., and Elkord, Eyad are highly regarded authors in their respective fields. However, it is worth noting that Triebel exhibits limited collaboration with other writers. The examination of the role of LAG-3 in cancer and its potential for use in clinical settings is a discernible trend, as seen by keyword analysis. Conclusion The scientific interest in and attention towards LAG-3 has experienced a significant rise since 2013. The United States is leading the way, with China following closely behind. Promoting collaboration among writers, nations, and institutions with varied backgrounds is imperative. The discipline of immunotherapy is currently seeing ongoing progress. A thorough investigation of the distinctive cis ligand TCR-CD3 complex of LAG-3 and its signal transduction mechanism is necessary. Additionally, it is worthwhile to explore novel combinations of LAG-3 therapy.

Abstract
Background Spinal cord injury (SCI) is a severe central nervous trauma that can cause serious consequences. Cell death is emerging as a common pathogenesis after SCI. In the last two decades, numerous studies have been published in the field of cell death after SCI. However, it is still rare to find relevant bibliometric analyses. This bibliometric study aims to visually represent global research trends in the field of cell death after SCI. Methods Bibliometric data were sourced from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database. VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and R software ("bibliometrix" package) were used to analyze and visualize bibliometric data. Annual scientific production, countries/regions, institutions, authors, journals, highly cited papers, keywords, and literature co-citation were evaluated to determine research performance. Results An analysis of 5,078 publications extracted from the WoSCC database revealed a fluctuating yet persistent growth in the field of cell death after SCI over the past 23 years. China and the United States, contributing 69% of the total publications, were the main driving force in this field. The Wenzhou Medical University from China contributed to the most papers. In terms of authors, Salvatore Cuzzocrea from the University of Messina had the highest number of publications. The "Journal of Neurotrauma" was the top journal in terms of the number of publications, however, the "Journal of Neuroscience" was the top journal in terms of the number of citations. The theme of the highly cited articles mainly focused on the mechanism of cell death after SCI. The keyword and literature co-citation analysis mainly focused on the mode of cell death, mechanism research of cell death, and functional recovery after SCI. Conclusion This study analyzes the research hotspots, frontiers, and development trends in the field of cell death after SCI, which is important for future studies.

Abstract
Gliomas are one of the most common primary malignant tumours of the central nervous system (CNS), of which glioblastomas (GBMs) are the most common and destructive type. The glioma tumour microenvironment (TME) has unique characteristics, such as hypoxia, the blood-brain barrier (BBB), reactive oxygen species (ROS) and tumour neovascularization. Therefore, the traditional treatment effect is limited. As cellular oxidative metabolites, ROS not only promote the occurrence and development of gliomas but also affect immune cells in the immune microenvironment. In contrast, either too high or too low ROS levels are detrimental to the survival of glioma cells, which indicates the threshold of ROS. Therefore, an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms of ROS production and scavenging, the threshold of ROS, and the role of ROS in the glioma TME can provide new methods and strategies for glioma treatment. Current methods to increase ROS include photodynamic therapy (PDT), sonodynamic therapy (SDT), and chemodynamic therapy (CDT), etc., and methods to eliminate ROS include the ingestion of antioxidants. Increasing/scavenging ROS is potentially applicable treatment, and further studies will help to provide more effective strategies for glioma treatment.

Abstract
Background Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a common cardiovascular disease that seriously threatens human lives. Anticoagulant therapy is considered to be the cornerstone of VTE treatment. An increasing number of studies has been updated in the VTE anticoagulation field. However, no bibliometric analyses have assessed these publications comprehensively. Therefore, our study aimed to analyze the global status, hotspots, and trends of anticoagulant therapy for VTE. Methods The relevant literature on VTE anticoagulation published between 2012 and 2021 was retrieved and collected from the Web of Science Core Collection database. VOSviewer, Cooccurrence Matrix Builder, gCLUTO, and some online visualization tools were adopted for bibliometric analysis. Results A total of 15,152 related articles were retrieved. In recent years, the research output of VTE anticoagulation gradually increased. The United States was the most productive country. International cooperation is concentrated in North America and Europe; the most influential documents, journals, authors, and organizations were also from these two continents. Research hotspots mainly focus on clinical guidelines, VTE in special populations, non-vitamin K oral anticoagulants (NOACs), and parenteral anticoagulation. The research frontiers and trends include the assessment of NOACs and the antithrombotic management of VTE complicated with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Conclusion This bibliometric analysis provides a systematic overview of the VTE anticoagulation research, which will facilitate researchers to better understand the situation of VTE anticoagulation. Future studies should be dedicated to NOACs application and VTE-combined COVID-19 patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND As an emerging potential risk factor for gastric cancer, autoimmune gastritis (AIG) has garnered increasing attention from researchers. AIM To analyze the research overview and popular topics in the field of AIG using bibliometrics. METHODS Relevant publications on AIG in the Web of Science Core Collection were collated, and data visualization and analysis of the number of publications, countries, institutions, journals, authors, keywords, and citations were performed using software such as VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and Scimago Graphic. RESULTS In total, 316 relevant articles were included in the analysis. From 2015 to 2022, the number of publications increased annually. The countries, institutions, authors, and journals with the highest number of publications in this field were Italy, Monash University, Toh BH, and Internal Medicine. The main keywords used in this field of research were pathogenesis, Helicobacter pylori, autoantibody, parietal cell antibody, atrophic gastritis, classification, diagnosis, autoimmune disease, risk, cancer, gastric cancer, vitamin B12 deficiency, and pernicious anemia. The following directions may be popular for future research: (1) The role of Helicobacter pylori in the pathogenesis of AIG; (2) diagnostic criteria for AIG and reference values for serum antibodies; (3) comorbidity mechanisms between AIG and other autoimmune diseases; (4) specific risks of AIG complicating gastric and other cancers; and (5) the role of vitamin B12 supplementation in patients with early-stage AIG. CONCLUSION This bibliometric analysis reported on popular topics and emerging trends in AIG, with diagnosis and prognosis being research hotspots in this field.

Abstract
Background and purpose Functional dyspepsia (FD) is a prevalent global disorder of the upper digestive tract characterized by functional impairment. It often coexists with anxiety/depression, significantly impairing occupational productivity and overall quality of life. This study aimed to identify emerging patterns and prominent themes within FD and anxiety/depression research through bibliometric analysis to help explore new innovative avenues for investigating this type of FD. Methods A comprehensive review of literature encompassing FD and anxiety/depression was conducted using the Science Citation Index Extension of the Web of Science Core Collection from 2003 to 2023. Information extracted comprised "Full Record and Cited References." Bibliometric analysis of relevant publications, including country, institution, author, journal, citations, and keywords, was conducted using CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and Bibliometrix package in R and Excel. Results Studies related to FD and anxiety/depression have demonstrated an ascending trajectory since 2003. Our bibliometric analysis identified 338 studies published by 2023. NEUROGASTROENTEROLOGY AND MOTILITY emerged as the most prolific journal, while GASTROENTEROLOGY retained pre-eminence within the top 10 published journals. China emerged as the most prolific country, with two institutions within the top 10 in terms of volume of publications. The Mayo Clinic stood as the foremost institution in terms of publication volume, with the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine exhibiting robust collaborative engagement. Eminent author influence was attributed to Talley NJ of Newcastle University, Australia. Clusters of extensively cited papers and prevalent keywords delineate the status and trend of FD and anxiety/depression research. This encompasses FD, anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and functional gastrointestinal disorders. Furthermore, the timeline view map or trend-term analysis suggested that duodenal low-grade inflammation ("duodenal eosinophilia" and "mast cells") might be a new concern associated with FD and anxiety/depression. Conclusion Employing bibliometric analysis, this study revealed prevalent focal areas and new trends within FD and anxiety/depression research. These insights serve as valuable guidance for scholars seeking to delve into new research avenues.

Abstract
Background Ginkgo biloba extract (GBE), a complementary and alternative medicine, has been widely used for disorders such as brain infarction, dementia, and coronary heart disease, in recent decades. Given its widespread clinical use, GBE has always been a vital research topic. However, there are no bibliometric analyses on this topic; furthermore, published reviews of GBE focus only on a specific research field or lack scientific and systematic evaluation. This study combined bibliometrics with thematic reviews by visual analysis to identify the current status of GBE research and to better identify research hotspots and trends in the past 40 years to understand future developments in basic and clinical research. Methods Articles and reviews on GBE were retrieved by topic from the Web of Science Core Collection from inception to 2022.12.01. Countries, institutions, authors, journals, references, and keywords in the field were visually analyzed using CiteSpace, Scimago Graphica, and VOSviewer software; then, these visualization results for references and keywords were clarified in detail by thematic reviews in subdivisions of the fields. Results In total, 2015 publications were included. The GBE-related literature has high volumes of publications and citations. The majority of literature is from China, and the USA cooperates most closely with other countries. In GBE research, Christen Yves is the most cited author, Phytotherapy Research is the most prolific journal, and the Journal of Ethnopharmacology is the most co-cited journal. Through a comprehensive analysis of keywords, references, and reviews, the quality of the meta-analysis of randomized controlled clinical trials of GBE in treating dementia was evaluated by the Risk of Bias in Systematic Reviews scale (ROBIS). Current research on GBE focuses on its pharmacological mechanisms, and neuroprotective application in diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, and glaucoma. Randomized controlled trials are the current research hotspot. Conclusion Research on GBE is flourishing; using bibliometric and thematic analysis, we identified its hotspots and trends. The pharmacological mechanisms and clinical applications of GBE are the focus of present and likely future research.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION A high salt diet is a significant risk factor for hypertension, and scholarly investigations into this relationship have garnered considerable attention worldwide. However, bibliometric analyses in this field remain underdeveloped. This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric and visual analysis of research progress on the link between high salt and hypertension from 2011 to 2022 with the goal of identifying future research trends and providing valuable insights for this field. METHODS High salt and hypertension data were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Microsoft Excel, Scimago Graphica, CiteSpace, and VOSviewer software were employed to analyze publication output trends, the most productive countries or regions, journals, authors, co-cited references, and keywords. RESULTS After screening, 1470 papers met the inclusion criteria. Relevant publications increased annually by 3.66% from 2011 to 2022. The United States led in research productivity, with The Journal of Hypertension publishing the most papers, and David L. Mattson as the most prolific author. Oxidative stress has emerged as a prominent research topic, and extensive investigations have been conducted on related mechanisms. "Oxidative stress," "gut microbiota," and "kidney injury" are recent hotspots that are expected to remain so, and this study carefully characterizes the mechanism of high salt-induced hypertension based on these hotspots. CONCLUSION This study utilized bibliometric and visualization analysis to identify the development trends and hotspots of publications related to high salt and hypertension. The findings of this study offer valuable insights into the forefront of emerging trends and future directions in this field.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Barrier surfaces composed of specialized epithelial cells separate the host body from the external environment, and are essential for maintaining proper intestinal physiologic and immune homeostasis. AIM To explore the development trends and research hotspots of intestinal barrier research in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). METHODS The publications related to the intestinal barrier in IBD were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Bibliometric analysis and visualization were conducted using VOSviewer, CiteSpace and R software. RESULTS A total of 4482 articles published between 2002 and 2022 were identified. The United States is dominant in intestinal barrier research, whereas the University of Chicago is the most active institution. Jerrold from Harvard Medical School was the most productive authors with the most citations. The journals Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Gastroenterology have made significant contributions in this field. The keywords appearing at high frequency related to the intestinal barrier in IBD were detected, including nuclear factor kappa B, tumor necrosis factor-α, apoptosis, oxidative stress and probiotics. Among them, antioxidants, Akkermansia muciniphila, nanoparticles, short-chain fatty acids and extracellular vesicles have received growing interest in recent research. CONCLUSION The intestinal barrier field is developing rapidly with extensive cooperation. Targeting the gut microbiota and dietary metabolism to regulate the intestinal barrier has shown promising prospective applications and has generated broad interest. The importance of the intestinal barrier in IBD is gradually being fully recognized, providing a new therapeutic perspective for improving inflammation and prognosis.

Abstract
The treatment of breast cancer (BC) is a serious challenge due to its heterogeneous nature, multidrug resistance (MDR), and limited therapeutic options. Nanoparticle-based drug delivery systems (NDDSs) represent a promising tool for overcoming toxicity and chemotherapy drug resistance in BC treatment. No bibliometric studies have yet been published on the research landscape of NDDS-based treatment of BC. In this review, we extracted data from 1,752 articles on NDDS-based treatment of BC published between 2012 and 2022 from the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) database. VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and some online platforms were used for bibliometric analysis and visualization. Publication trends were initially observed: in terms of geographical distribution, China and the United States had the most papers on this subject. The highest contributing institution was Sichuan University. In terms of authorship and co-cited authorship, the most prolific author was Yu Zhang. Furthermore, Qiang Zhang and co-workers have made tremendous achievements in the field of NDDS-based BC treatment. The article titled "Nanomedicine in cancer therapy: challenges, opportunities, and clinical applications" had the most citations. The Journal of Controlled Release was one of the most active publishers in the field. "Global cancer statistics 2018: GLOBOCAN estimates of incidence and mortality worldwide for 36 cancers in 185 countries" was the most cited reference. We also analysed "hot" and cutting-edge research for NDDSs in BC treatment. There were nine topic clusters: "tumour microenvironment," "nanoparticles (drug delivery)," "breast cancer/triple-negative breast cancer," "combination therapy," "drug release (pathway)," "multidrug resistance," "recent advance," "targeted drug delivery", and "cancer nanomedicine." We also reviewed the core themes of research. In summary, this article reviewed the application of NDDSs in the treatment of BC.

Abstract
PURPOSE Hypertension remains a major risk factor for myocardial infarction, heart failure, end-stage renal disease, and stroke. Multiple genes are involved in the process of hypertension with an additional dimension of interaction with the environment. This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of publications in the field of hypertension and epigenetics over the past 10 years to summarize the current status of the field and analyze the trends in the field. METHODS On February 5, 2023, we chose the web of science core collection database as the study data source. VOS viewer 1.6.18 and Cite Space 6.1.6 were used to examine publications of research on hypertension and epigenetics that were published between 2013 and 2022. We looked through the papers for journals, organizations, nations and regions, authors, and key terms. RESULTS This analysis covered a total of 1535 papers on studies into hypertension and epigenetics. There were 7279 authors, 83 nations, 1983 organizations, and 606 journals in all of the articles. In the USA, 540 publications were the most. The institution with the most publications was Harvard Medical School. The author with the most articles was Zhao Lubo. CONCLUSION This study summarizes the global research trends in hypertension and epigenetics. Publications in this field have increased year by year in the last decade and the field of research on hypertension and epigenetics has good prospects for growth.

Abstract
Introduction: Network pharmacology has emerged as a forefront and hotspot in anti-cancer. Traditional anti-cancer drugs are limited by the paradigm of "one cancer, one target, one drug," making it difficult to address the challenges of recurrence and drug resistance. However, the main advantage of network pharmacology lies in its approach from the perspective of molecular network relationships, employing a "one arrow, multiple targets" strategy, which provides a novel pathway for developing anti-cancer drugs. This study employed a bibliometric analysis method to examine network pharmacology's application and research progress in cancer treatment from January 2008 to May 2023. This research will contribute to revealing its forefront and hotspots, offering new insights and methodologies for future investigations. Methods: We conducted a literature search on network pharmacology research in anti-cancer (NPART) from January 2008 to May 2023, utilizing scientific databases such as Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) and PubMed to retrieve relevant research articles and reviews. Additionally, we employed visualization tools such as Citespace, SCImago Graphica, and VOSviewer to perform bibliometric analysis. Results: This study encompassed 3,018 articles, with 2,210 articles from WoSCC and 808 from PubMed. Firstly, an analysis of the annual national publication trends and citation counts indicated that China and the United States are the primary contributing countries in this field. Secondly, the recent keyword analysis revealed emerging research hotspots in "tumor microenvironment," "anti-cancer drugs," and "traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). " Furthermore, the literature clustering analysis demonstrated that "calycosin," "molecular mechanism," "molecular docking," and "anti-cancer agents" were widely recognized research hotspots and forefront areas in 2023, garnering significant attention and citations in this field. Ultimately, we analyzed the application of NPART and the challenges. Conclusion: This study represents the first comprehensive analysis paper based on bibliometric methods, aiming to investigate the forefront hotspots of network pharmacology in anti-cancer research. The findings of this study will facilitate researchers in swiftly comprehending the current research trends and forefront hotspots in the domain of network pharmacology in cancer research.

Abstract
Glioma is the most common primary intracranial tumor in adults with poor prognosis. Current clinical treatment for glioma includes surgical resection along with chemoradiotherapy. However, the therapeutic efficacy is still unsatisfactory. The invasive nature of the glioma makes it impossible to completely resect it. The presence of blood-brain barrier (BBB) blocks chemotherapeutic drugs access to brain parenchyma for glioma treatment. Besides, tumor heterogeneity and hypoxic tumor microenvironment remarkably limit the efficacy of radiotherapy. With rapid advances of nanotechnology, the emergence of a new treatment approach, namely, reactive oxygen species (ROS)-based nanotherapy, provides an effective approach for eliminating glioma via generating large amounts of ROS in glioma cells. In addition, the emerging nanotechnology also provides BBB-crossing strategies, which allows effective ROS-based nanotherapy of glioma. In this review, we summarized ROS-based nanomedicine and their application in glioma treatment, including photodynamic therapy (PDT), photothermal therapy (PTT), chemodynamic therapy (CDT), sonodynamic therapy (SDT), radiation therapy, etc. Moreover, the current challenges and future prospects of ROS-based nanomedicine are also elucidated with the intention to accelerate its clinical translation.

Abstract
This bibliometric analysis provides the first overview of the literature on emerging contaminants in coastal waters. Bibexcel, Microsoft Excel, VOSviewer and the bibliometix R package software were used for bibliometric analysis and science mapping. 556 publications, published between 1986 and 2022, were retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) database. The results showed that this field of research follows Price's law of exponential growth and has exploded since 2001. Authors, journals and institutions followed Lotka's law, and Price's index (43.4 %) showed that the field is far from being obsolete. The most influential institution is the Chinese Academy of Sciences, while authors from China, USA, Japan and Singapore have the most publications and international co-authorships. The leading journal is Marine Pollution Bulletin, with a focus on Environmental Science WoS category. Hot research areas focus on risk assessment of PCBs, organochlorine compounds and personal care products in surface water and wastewater.

Abstract
Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorders (NMOSD) are demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system, have drawn the attention of many researchers due to the relapsing courses and cumulative disability. A first bibliometric analysis of NMOSD was conducted to identify the research hotspots and emerging trends. Articles relevant to NMOSD published in the core collection of Web of Science were retrieved and analyzed through visualized analysis using CiteSpace and VOSviewer, focusing on annual publication trends, countries, institutions, authors, journals, and keywords. The analysis showed that over the past 30 years, publications related to NMOSD had shown steady growth with slight fluctuations. The United States played an important part in this field, with the highest outputs and the greatest number of citations. Research hotspots of NMOSD had gradually shifted from the definition, biomarkers, and diagnostic criteria to diagnosis and treatment, particularly immunotherapy. This bibliometric analysis provides researchers with a theoretical basis for studying NMOSD and offers guidance for future research directions.

Abstract
Background Nrf2, an essential and fascinating transcription factor, enjoys a dual property in the occurrence and development of inflammation and cancer. For over two decades, numerous studies regarding Nrf2 in cancer have been reported, whereas there is still a lack of a scientometrics and visualization analysis of Nrf2 in cancer. Hence, a scientometric study regarding the oxidative stress modulator Nrf2 was implemented. Methods After the quality screening, we defined 7168 relevant studies from 2000 to 2021. CiteSpace, VOSviewer, R software, and GraphPad Prism were used for the following scientometric study and visualization analysis, including field profiles, research hotspots, and future predictions. Results The total number of publications and citations are 1058 and 54,690, respectively. After polynomial fitting curve analysis, two prediction functions of the annual publication number (y = 3.3909x2 - 13585x + 1 E+07) and citation number (185.45x2 - 743669x + 7 E+08) were generated. After scientometric analysis, we found that Biochemistry Molecular Biology correlates with Nrf2 in cancer highly, and Free Radical Biology and Medicine is a good choice for submitting Nrf2-related manuscripts. The current research hotspots of Nrf2 in cancer mainly focus on cancer therapy and its cellular and molecular mechanisms. "antioxidant response element (87.5)", "gene expression (43.98)", "antioxidant responsive element (21.14)", "chemoprevention (20.05)", "carcinogenesis (19.2)", "cancer chemoprevention (18.45)", "free radical (17.15)", "response element (14.17)", and "chemopreventive agent (14.04)" are important for cancer therapy study. In addition, "glutathione-S-transferase (47)", "keap1 (15.39)", and "heme oxygenase 1 gene (24.35)" are important for inflammation and cell fate study. More interestingly, by performing an "InfoMap" algorithm, the thematic map showed that the "immune response" is essential to oxidative stress modulator Nrf2 but not well developed, indicating it deserves further exploration. Conclusion This study revealed field profiles, research hotspots, and future directions of oxidative stress modulator Nrf2 in inflammation and cancer research, and our findings will offer a vigorous roadmap for further studies in this field.

Abstract
Background In recent years, new therapeutic options to overcome the mechanisms of tumor immune suppression be effective in the treatment of cutaneous melanoma. These approaches have also been applied in ocular melanoma. The aim of this study is to present the current status and research hotspots of immunotherapy for ocular melanoma from a bibliometric perspective and to explore the field of immunotherapy for malignant ocular melanoma research. Methods In this study, the Web of Science Core Collection database (WoSCC) and Pubmed were selected to search the literature related to immunotherapy of ocular melanoma. Using VOSviewer, CiteSpace, the R package "bibliometrix," and the bibliometric online platform through the construction and visualization of bibliometric networks, the country/region, institution, journal, author, and keywords were analyzed to predict the most recent trends in research pertaining to ocular melanoma and immunotherapy. Results A total of 401 papers and 144 reviews related to immunotherapy of ocular melanoma were included. The United States is the main driver of research in the field, ranking first in terms of the number of publications, total citations, and H-index. The UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SYSTEM is the most active institution, contributing the most papers. Jager, Martine is the most prolific author, and Carvajal, Richard is the most frequently cited author. CANCERS is the most published journal in the field and J CLIN ONCOL is the most cited journal. In addition to ocular melanoma and immunotherapy, the most popular keywords were "uveal melanoma" and "targeted therapy". According to keyword co-occurrence and burst analysis, uveal melanoma, immunotherapy, melanoma, metastases, bap1, tebentafusp, bioinformatics, conjunctival melanoma, immune checkpoint inhibitors, ipilimumab, pembrolizumab, and other research topics appear to be at the forefront of this field's research and have the potential to remain a hot research topic in the future. Conclusion This is the first bibliometric study in the last 30 years to comprehensively map the knowledge structure and trends in the field of research related to ocular melanoma and immunotherapy. The results comprehensively summarize and identify research frontiers for scholars studying immunotherapy associated with ocular melanoma.

Abstract
BackgroundHallux valgus (HV) is a common foot and ankle surgery disease. The correction of HV deformity relies on a highly challenging surgical treatment. Thus, widely adopted evidence-based clinical guidelines are still needed to guide the selection of the most appropriate interventions. Recently, the study of HV has been growing and scholars are increasingly paying particular attention to this area. However, bibliometric literature remains lacking. Therefore, this study aims to reveal the hotspots and future research trends in HV via bibliometric analysis to fill this knowledge gap.MethodsLiterature related to HV from 2004 to 2021 was retrieved from the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCI-expanded) of the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). Quantitative and qualitative analyses of scientific data are performed using software such as CiteSpace, R-bibliometrix, and VOSviewer.ResultsA total of 1,904 records were identified for analysis. The United States had the most number of published articles and total citations. Thus, the United States has made an essential contribution to the field of HV. Meanwhile, La Trobe University in Australia was the most productive institution. Menz HB and Foot & Ankle International were the most influential authors and the most popular journals among researchers, respectively. In addition, “older people,” “chevron osteotomy,” “Lapidus,” and “hallux rigidus” have always been the hotspots of attention. Changes and developments in the surgery of HV have gained researchers' interest. Future research trends are more focused on “radiographic measurement,” “recurrence,” “outcome,” “rotation,” “pronation,” and “minimally invasive surgery.” Thus, focusing on these subject directions can facilitate academic progress and provide the possibility of better treatments for HV.ConclusionThis study summarizes the hotspots and trends in the field of HV from 2004 to 2021, which will provide researchers with an updated view of essential information and somehow guide future research.

Abstract
Background: Heat stress remains a major environmental factor affecting poultry production. With growing concerns surrounding climate change and its antecedent of global warming, research on heat stress in poultry has gradually gained increased attention. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the current status, identify the research frontiers, and highlight the research trends on heat stress in poultry research using bibliometric analysis. Methods: The literature search was performed on the Web of Science Core Collection database for documents published from 2000 to 2021. The documents retrieved were analyzed for their publication counts, countries, institutions, keywords, sources, funding, and citation records using the bibliometric app on R software. Network analysis for co-authorship, co-occurrence, citation, co-citation, and bibliographic coupling was visualized using the VOSviewer software. Results: A total of 468 publications were retrieved, and over the past two decades, there was a gradual increase in the annual number of publications (average growth rate: 4.56%). China had the highest contribution with respect to the number of publications, top contributing authors, collaborations, funding agencies, and institutions. Nanjing Agricultural University, China was the most prolific institution. Kazim Sahin from Firat University, Turkey contributed the highest number of publications and citations to heat stress in poultry research, and Poultry Science was the most productive and the most cited journal. The top 10 globally cited documents mainly focused on the effects of heat stress, alleviation of heat stress, and the association between heat stress and oxidative stress in poultry. All keywords were grouped into six clusters which included studies on "growth performance", "intestinal morphology", "heat stress", "immune response", "meat quality", and "oxidative stress" as current research hotspots. In addition, topics such as; "antioxidants", "microflora", "intestinal barrier", "rna-seq", "animal welfare", "gene expression", "probiotics", "feed restriction", and "inflammatory pathways" were identified for future research attention. Conclusion: This bibliometric study provides a detailed and comprehensive analysis of the global research trends on heat stress in poultry over the last two decades, and it is expected to serve as a useful reference for potential research that will help address the impacts of heat stress on poultry production globally.

Abstract
Background: Ultrasound-triggered sonodynamic therapy (SDT), as a non-invasive approach, has attracted considerable attention in a wide variety of malignant tumors and other diseases. Over the past 2 decades, the number of scientific publications on SDT has increased rapidly. However, there is still a lack of one comprehensive report that summarizes the global research trends and knowledge landscapes in the field of SDT in detail. Thus, we performed a bibliometric analysis on SDT from 2000 to 2021 to track the current hotspots and highlight future directions. Methods: We collected publications on SDT research from the Web of Science Core Collection database. The annual number of publications and citations, major contributors, popular journals, international collaborations, co-cited references and co-occurrence keywords were analyzed and visualized with CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and R-bibliometrix. Results: A total of 701 publications were included. The annual publication output increased from 5 in 2000 to 175 in 2021, and the average growth rate was 18.4%. China was the most productive country with 463 documents (66.05%), and Harbin Medical University was the most prolific institution (N = 73). Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology published the most papers related to SDT. Materials Science, and Chemistry were the research areas receiving the most interest. All the keywords were divided into four different clusters including studies on mechanisms, studies on drug delivery and nanoparticles, studies on cancer therapy, as well as studies on ultrasound and sonosensitizers. In addition to nanomaterials-related studies including nanoparticles, mesoporous silica nanoparticles, nanosheets, liposomes, microbubble and TiO2 nanoparticle, the following research directions such as immunogenic cell death, metal-organic framework, photothermal therapy, hypoxia, tumor microenvironment, chemodynamic therapy, combination therapy, tumor resistance, intensity focused ultrasound, drug delivery, and Staphylococcus aureus also deserve further attention and may continue to explode in the future. Conclusion: SDT has a bright future in the field of cancer treatment, and nanomaterials have increasingly influenced the SDT field with the development of nano-technology. Overall, this comprehensive bibliometric study was the first attempt to analyze the field of SDT, which could provide valuable references for later researchers to better understand the global research trends, hotspots and frontiers in this domain.

Abstract
Background Colorectal cancer (CRC)is the third most common cancer in the world and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths, and over the past two decades, many of these researchers have provided a substantial amount of important information on the role of gut microbes in the development and progression of CRC. A causal relationship between the presence of specific microorganisms and CRC development has also been validated. Although a large number of papers related to this area have been published, no bibliometric study has been conducted to review the current state of research in this area and to highlight the research trends and hotspots in this area. This study aims to analyze the current status and future research trends of gut microbiota and CRC through bibliometric analysis. Methods Publications from 2001 to 2022 were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database and screened according to inclusion criteria. VOSviewer and CiteSpace software were used to visualize the research trends in this field, including the analysis of title, country, institution, author, number of publications, year of publication, number of citations, journal, and H-index. Results A total of 863 studies were eventually identified, and the articles retrieved were cited an average of 44.85 times each. The number of publications on this topic has been increased steadily since 2011. China and the USA have made the largest contribution in the field. FRONTIERS IN MICROBIOLOGY is the top productive journal with 26 papers, and Gut journal has the highest average citation (167.23). Shanghai Jiao Tong University is the most contributive institution. Professor Yu J, Sung, Joseph J. Y and Fang JY are the most productive authors in this field. Keyword co-occurrence analysis showed that the terms of "Gut Microbiota", "Colorectal Cancer", "Inflammation", "Probiotic" and "Fusobacterium Nucleatum" were the most frequent, which revealed the research hotpots and trends in this field. Conclusions There has been a growing number of publications over the past two decades according to the global trends. China and the USA still maintained the leading position in this field. However, collaboration between institutions needs to be strengthened. It's commended to pay attention to the latest hotspots, such as "F. nucleatum" and "probiotics". This bibliometric analysis evaluates the scope and trends of gut microbiota and CRC, providing a useful perspective on current research and future directions for studying the link between the gut microbiota and CRC.

Abstract
Background There is growing emphasis on the cardiotoxicity research over the past 12 years. To look for the hotspots evolution and to explore the emerging trends in the field of cardiotoxicity, publications related to cardiotoxicity were acquired from the Web of Science Core Collection on August 2, 2022. Methods We used the CiteSpace 5.8 R3 and VOSviewer 1.6.18 to perform bibliometric and knowledge-map analysis. Results A total of 8,074 studies by 39,071 authors from 6,530 institutions in 124 countries or regions were published in different academic journals. The most productive country was absolutely the United States, and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center was the institution with the largest output. Zhang, Yun published the most articles, and the author who had the most frequent co-citations was Moslehi, Javid. New England Journal of Medicine was the most frequently cited journals in this field. Mechanisms of cardiotoxicity have received the most attention and was the main research directions in the field. The disease of cardiotoxicity together with the related risk factors are potential research hotspots. Immune checkpoint inhibitor and myocarditis are two recently discussed and rapidly expanding research topic in the areas of cardiotoxicity. Conclusions This bibliometric analysis provided a thorough analysis of the cardiotoxicity, which would provide crucial sources of information and concepts for academics studying this area. As a rapidly expanding field in cardiology, the related field of cardiotoxicity will continue to be a focus of research.

Abstract
Background: Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are major global health problems, and the main cause is atherosclerosis. Recently, molecular imaging has been widely employed in the diagnosis and therapeutic applications of a variety of diseases, including atherosclerosis. Substantive facts have announced that molecular imaging has broad prospects in the early diagnosis and targeted treatment of atherosclerosis. Objective: We conducted a scientometric analysis of the scientific publications over the past 23 years on molecular imaging research in atherosclerosis, so as to identify the key progress, hotspots, and emerging trends. Methods: Original research and reviews regarding molecular imaging in atherosclerosis were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database. Microsoft Excel 2021 was used to analyze the main findings. CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and a scientometric online platform were used to perform visualization analysis of the co-citation of journals and references, co-occurrence of keywords, and collaboration between countries/regions, institutions, and authors. Results: A total of 1755 publications were finally included, which were published by 795 authors in 443 institutions from 59 countries/regions. The United States was the top country in terms of the number and centrality of publications in this domain, with 810 papers and a centrality of 0.38, and Harvard University published the largest number of articles (182). Fayad, ZA was the most productive author, with 73 papers, while LIBBY P had the most co-citations (493). CIRCULATION was the top co-cited journal with a frequency of 1,411, followed by ARTERIOSCL THROM VAS (1,128). The co-citation references analysis identified eight clusters with a well-structured network (Q = 0.6439) and highly convincing clustering (S = 0.8865). All the studies calculated by keyword co-occurrence were divided into five clusters: "nanoparticle," "magnetic resonance imaging," "inflammation," "positron emission tomography," and "ultrasonography". Hot topics mainly focused on cardiovascular disease, contrast media, macrophage, vulnerable plaque, and microbubbles. Sodium fluoride ⁃PET, targeted drug delivery, OCT, photoacoustic imaging, ROS, and oxidative stress were identified as the potential trends. Conclusion: Molecular imaging research in atherosclerosis has attracted extensive attention in academia, while the challenges of clinical transformation faced in this field have been described in this review. The findings of the present research can inform funding agencies and researchers toward future directions.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To overview the research actuality and offer the hotspots and cutting-edge issues in the field of Non-suicidal Self-injury (NSSI) by using bibliometric analysis. MATERIALS AND METHODS Publications related to NSSI from 2002 to 2022 were extracted from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database. CiteSpace V 6.1.R2 and VOSviewer 1.6.18 were used to visually analyzed institutions, countries, journals, authors, references, and keywords in research on NSSI. RESULTS A total of 799 studies about NSSI were analyzed via CiteSpace and VOSviewer. The number of annual publications related to NSSI is fluctuating growth. The USA and Harvard University are the most productive country and institutions. In the case of journals and co-cited journals, Psychiatry Research are the most productive journal and also ranked highest among co-cited journals. Furthermore, Michael Kaess has published the most publications, and Matthew K. Nock is the most cited author. An article published by Swannell SV et al. shows the highest citation counts. After analysis, the most common keywords are harm, adolescents and prevalence. The gender difference, diagnosis, and dysregulation are frontier areas of NSSI research. CONCLUSION This study analyzed the research of NSSI from multiple perspectives, and provides valuable information for researchers to capture the current status, hot spots, and frontier trends of NSSI.

Abstract
Background As a processing method of RNA precursors, alternative splicing (AS) is critical to normal cellular activities. Aberrant AS events are associated with cancer development and can be promising targets to treat cancer. However, no detailed and unbiased study describes the current state of AS of cancer research. We aim to measure and recognize the current state and trends of AS cancer research in this study. Methods The Web of Science Core Collection was used to acquire the articles. Utilizing three bibliometric tools (CiteSpace, VOSviewer, R-bibliometrix), we were able to measure and recognize the influence and collaboration data of individual articles, journals, and co-citations. Analysis of co-occurrence and burst information helped us identify the trending research areas related to AS of cancer. Results From 2012 to 2021, the total number of papers on AS of cancer published in 766 academic journals was 3,507, authored by 20,406 researchers in 405 institutions from 80 countries/regions. Research involving AS of cancer genes was primarily conducted in the United States and China; simultaneously, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fudan University, and National Cancer Institute were the institutions with strong research capabilities. Scorilas Andreas is the scholar with the most publications, while the most co-citations were generated by Wang, Eric T. Plos One published the most papers on AS of cancer, while J Biol Chem was the most co-cited academic journal in this field. The results of keyword co-occurrence analysis can be divided into three types: molecular (P53, CD44, androgen receptor, srsf3, esrp1), pathological process (apoptosis, EMT, metastasis, angiogenesis, proliferation), and disease (breast cancer, colorectal cancer, prostate cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, gastric cancer). Conclusion Research on AS of cancer has been increasing in intensity over the past decade. Current AS of cancer studies focused on the hallmarks of AS in cancer and AS signatures including diagnostic and therapeutic targets. Among them, the current trends are splicing factors regulating epithelial-mesenchymal transition and other hallmarks, aberrant splicing events in tumors, and further mechanisms. These might give researchers interested in this field a forward-looking perspective and inform further research.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Studies on intracranial aneurysms (IAs) using animal models have evolved for decades. This study aimed to analyze major contributors and trends in IA-related animal research using bibliometric analysis. METHODS IA-related animal studies were retrieved from the Web of Science database. Microsoft Excel 2010, GraphPad Prism 6, VOSviewer, and CiteSpace were used to collect and analyze the characteristics of this field. RESULTS A total of 273 publications were retrieved. All publications were published between 1976 and 2021, and the peak publication year is 2019. Rat model were used in most of the publications, followed by mice and rabbits. Japan (35.5%), the United States (30.0%), and China (20.1%) were the top three most prolific countries. Although China ranks third in the number of publications, it still lacks high-quality articles and influential institutions. Stroke was the most prolific journal that accepted publications related to IA research using animal models. Circulation has the highest impact factor with IA-related animal studies. Hashimoto N contributed the largest number of articles. Meng hui journal published the first and second highest cited publications. The keywords "subarachnoid hemorrhage," "macrophage," "rupture," "mice," "elastase," "gene," "protein," "proliferation," and "risk factors" might be a new trend for studying IA-related animal research. CONCLUSIONS Japan and the Unites States contributed the most to IA-related animal studies, in terms of both researchers and institutions. Although China ranks third in terms of the number of publications, it should strengthen the quality of its publications. Researchers should pay attention to the latest progress of Stroke, Journal of Neurosurgery, Neurosurgery, and Circulation for their high-quality IA-related animal studies. Using animal IA models, especially mice, to investigate the molecular mechanisms of IA may be the frontier topic now and in future.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Akkermansia muciniphila is a member of the gut microbiome, using mucin as sources of carbon, nitrogen, and energy. Since the first discovery of this unique bacterium in 2004, A. muciniphila has been extensively studied. It is considered a promising "next-generation beneficial microbe." The purpose of this paper is to sort out the research status and summarize the hotspots through bibliometric analysis of the publications of A. muciniphila. METHODS The publications about A. muciniphila from January 2004 to February 2022 were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection. Visualization analyses were performed using three bibliometric tools and GraphPad Prism. RESULTS A total of 1,478 published documents were analyzed. Annual publication number grew from 1 in 2004 to 336 in 2021, with China being the leading producer (33.36%). De Vos, Willem M was the most productive author with the highest H-index (documents = 56, H-index = 37), followed by Cani, Patrice D (documents = 35, H-index = 25). And Scientific Reports published the most papers. PNAS was the keystone taxa in this field, with high betweenness centrality (0.11) and high frequency. The keywords with high frequency in recent years include: oxidative stress, diet, metformin, fecal microbiota transplantation, short-chain fatty acids, polyphenols, microbiota metabolites and so on. The keyword "oxidative stress" was observed to be increasing in frequency recently. CONCLUSION Over time, the scope of the research on the clinical uses of A. muciniphila has gradually increased, and was gradually deepened and developed toward a more precise level. A. muciniphila is likely to remain a research hotspot in the foreseeable future and may contribute to human health.

Abstract
Background: Diazepam is a classic benzodiazepine drug that has been widely used for disorders such as anxiety, sleep disorders, and epilepsy, over the past 59 years. The study of diazepam has always been an important research topic. However, there are few bibliometric analyses or systematic studies in this field. This study undertook bibliometric and visual analysis to ascertain the current status of diazepam research, and to identify research hotspots and trends in the past 10 years, to better understand future developments in basic and clinical research. Methods: Articles and reviews of diazepam were retrieved from the Web of Science core collection. Using CiteSpace, VOSviewer, and Scimago Graphica software, countries, institutions, authors, journals, references, and keywords in the field were visually analyzed. Results: A total of 3,870 publications were included. Diazepam-related literature had high volumes of publications and citations. The majority of publications were from the USA and China. The highest number of publications and co-citations, among the authors, was by James M Cook. Epilepsia and the Latin American Journal of Pharmacy were the journals with the most publications on diazepam and Epilepsia was the most frequently cited journal. Through a comprehensive analysis of keywords and references, we found that current research on diazepam has focused on its mechanism of action, application in disease, pharmacokinetics, risk, assessment, and management of use, status epilepticus, gamma-aminobutyric acid receptors (GABAR), intranasal formulation, gephyrin, and that ultra-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (UPLC-MS/MS) is the current research hotspot. Conclusion: Research on diazepam is flourishing. We identified research hotspots and trends in diazepam research using bibliometric and visual analytic methods. The clinical applications, mechanisms of action, pharmacokinetics, and assessment and management of the use of diazepam are the focus of current research and the development trend of future research.

Abstract
Objective Major trauma is currently a global public health issue with a massive impact on health at both the individual and population levels. However, there are limited bibliometric analyses on the management of major trauma. Thus, in this study we aimed to identify global research trends, dynamic structures, and scientific frontiers in the management of major trauma between 2012 and 2021. Methods We searched the Web of Science Core Collection to access articles and reviews concerning the management of major traumas and conducted a bibliometric analysis using CiteSpace. Results Overall, 2,585 studies were screened and published by 403 institutions from 110 countries/regions. The most productive country and institution in this field of research were the USA and Monash University, respectively. Rolf Lefering was the most prolific researcher and Holcomb JB had the most co-citations. Injury published the highest number of articles, and the Journal of Trauma was the most co-cited journal. A dual-map overlay of the literature showed that the articles of most publications were confined to the areas of medicine/medical/clinical and neurology/sports/ophthalmology. Document clustering indicated severe traumatic brain injury, traumatic coagulopathy, and resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion as the recent hot topics. The most recent burst keywords were "trauma management," "neurocritical care," "injury severity," and "emergency medical services." Conclusion The dynamic structures and emerging trends in the management of major trauma were extensively analyzed using CiteSpace, a visualization software. Based on the analysis, the following research hotspots emerged: management of severe traumatic brain injury and massive hemorrhage, neurocritical care, injury severity, and emergency medical service. Our findings provide pertinent information for future research and contribute toward policy making in this field.

Abstract
Objectives: A growing body of studies related to antiphospholipid syndrome (APS) have been published in recent years. Nevertheless, there is a lack of visualized and systematic analysis in the literature on APS. Hence, this study sought to conduct a bibliometric analysis to identify research status and discover frontiers in the field. Methods: Articles and reviews concerning APS were acquired from the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) database. CiteSpace, VOSviewer and a bibliometric online analysis platform were employed to conduct a visualization and knowledge-map analysis. Results: A total of 1,390 publications regarding APS were identified. Globally, Italy contributed the most publications. The University of Padua was the most productive institution. Lupus ranked first in both the most published and most co-cited journals. Savino Sciascia and Spiros Miyakis were the most prolific and most co-cited authors, respectively. "Vitamin K antagonists (VKA)" and "immunoglobulin A (IgA)" were current research foci. Burst analysis of keywords suggested that "neutrophil extracellular trap (NET)," "direct oral anticoagulant (DOAC)," "open label," "outcome," "hydroxychloroquine (HCQ)," and "arterial thrombosis (AT)" were significant future research frontiers. Conclusion: The scientific literature on APS has increased steadily in the past 10 years. The clinical studies on the treatment and mechanism research of APS are recognized as promising research hotspots in the domain of APS. The research status and trends of APS publications from the bibliometric perspective can provide a practical guide and important reference for subsequent studies by researchers and physicians in the domain.

Abstract
Epilepsy affects more than 70 million people in the world. It is characterized by recurrent spontaneous seizures, and it is related to many neurological, cognitive, and psychosocial consequences. Glutamate neurotransmitter dysfunction has essential functions in the pathophysiology of epilepsy. In this work, bibliometric analysis was conducted to explore the trends, frontiers, and hotspots of the global scientific output of glutamate in epilepsy research in the past 20 years. The Science Citation Index Expanded of the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) was searched to obtain information on publications and records published between 2002 and 2021. VOSviewer and CiteSpace were used to conduct bibliometric and visual analyses on the overall distribution of annual output, major countries, active institutions, journals, authors, commonly cited literature, and keywords. The impact and quality of the papers were assessed using the global citation score (GCS). Four thousand eight hundred ninety-one publications were retrieved in total. During the past two decades, the number of publications (Np) associated with glutamate in epilepsy has risen yearly. The United States has published the most papers; its H-index and number of citations are also the highest. The League of European Research Universities (LERU) was the most productive institution. In 2016, the total score of the paper written by Zhang Y was 854, ranking first. The keywords that appear most frequently are “epilepsy,” “glutamate,” “temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE),” “hippocampus,” and “seizures.” This study showed that although the publications related to epileptic glutamate fluctuated slightly, the Np increased overall. The United States is a great creator and influential country in this field. The first three authors are Eid, T., Aronica, E., and Smolders, I. “spectrum,” “animal model,” “inflammation,” “mutation,” “dysfunction,” and “prefrontal cortex” are increasing research hotspots. By recognizing the most critical indicators (researchers, countries, research institutes, and journals of glutamate release in epilepsy research), the research hotspot of glutamate in epilepsy could help countries, scholars, and policymakers in this field enhance their understanding of the role of glutamate in epilepsy and make decisions.

Abstract
Background: Nano drug delivery system (NDDS) can significantly improve the delivery and efficacy of drugs against pancreatic cancer (PC) in many ways. The purpose of this study is to explore the related research fields of NDDS for PC from the perspective of bibliometrics. Methods: Articles and reviews on NDDS for PC published between 2003 and 2022 were obtained from the Web of Science Core Collection. CiteSpace, VOSviewer, R-bibliometrix, and Microsoft Excel were comprehensively used for bibliometric and visual analysis. Results: A total of 1329 papers on NDDS for PC were included. The number of papers showed an upward trend over the past 20 years. The United States contributed the most papers, followed by China, and India. Also, the United States had the highest number of total citations and H-index. The institution with the most papers was Chinese Acad Sci, which was also the most important in international institutional cooperation. Professors Couvreur P and Kazuoka K made great achievements in this field. JOURNAL OF CONTROLLED RELEASE published the most papers and was cited the most. The topics related to the tumor microenvironment such as “tumor microenvironment”, “tumor penetration”, “hypoxia”, “exosome”, and “autophagy”, PC treatment-related topics such as “immunotherapy”, “combination therapy”, “alternating magnetic field/magnetic hyperthermia”, and “ultrasound”, and gene therapy dominated by “siRNA” and “miRNA” were the research hotspots in the field of NDDS for PC. Conclusion: This study systematically uncovered a holistic picture of the performance of NDDS for PC-related literature over the past 20 years. We provided scholars to understand key information in this field with the perspective of bibliometrics, which we believe may greatly facilitate future research in this field.

Abstract
Osteosarcoma (OS) is one of the most prevalent primary bone tumors at all ages of human development. The objective of our study was to develop a model of Cuproptosis-Related Genes (CRGs) for predicting prognosis in OS patients. All datasets of OS patients were obtained from the Therapeutically Applicable Research to Generate Effective Treatments (TARGET) database and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database. We obtained the gene set (81 CRGs) related to cuproptosis by accessing the database and previous literature. All the CRGs were analyzed by univariate COX regression, least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) COX regression analysis to screen for CRGs associated with prognosis in OS patients. Then these CRGs were used to construct a prognostic signature, which was further verified by independent cohort (GSE21257) and clinical correlation analysis. Afterward, to identify underlying mechanisms, Gene Ontology (GO) analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) analysis were used for the high-risk group by using the GSEA method. The association between the prognostic signature and 28 types of immune infiltrating cells in the tumor microenvironment was assessed. Ultimately, Lipoic Acid Synthetase (LIAS) (HR=0.632, P=0.004), Lipoyltransferase 1 (LIPT1) (HR=0.524, P=0.011), BCL2 Like 1 (BCL2L1/BCL-XL) (HR=0.593, P=0.022), and Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Kinase 1 (PDK1) (HR=0.662, P=0.025) were identified. Subsequently, they were used to calculate the risk score and build a prognostic model. In the training cohort, risk score (HR=1.878, P=0.003) could be considered as an independent prognostic factor, and OS patients with high-risk scores showed lower survival rates. Biological pathways related to substance metabolism and transport were enriched. There were significant differences in immune infiltrating cells in the tumor microenvironment. All in all, The CRGs signature is related to the tumor immune microenvironment and could be used as a credible predictor of the prognostic status in OS patients.
