Abstract
Secured financial transactions can now be conveniently made via mobile devices for various products and services, such as e-hailing. However, limited research exists on the factors influencing the adoption of mobile payments specifically for e-hailing services, despite the growing interest in mobile payments in China. This cross-sectional study quantitatively assessed the influence of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence, facilitating conditions, perceived security, and lifestyle compatibility on the intention to adopt and the actual adoption of mobile payment for e-hailing services. An online self-administered survey was conducted, involving 413 respondents from China. The results revealed a significant positive influence of perceived ease of use, social influence, facilitating conditions, and perceived security on the intention to adopt mobile payment. Additionally, the study found that the intention to adopt mobile payment positively influenced the actual adoption of mobile payments. Meanwhile, perceived usefulness and lifestyle compatibility demonstrated an insignificant influence on the intention to adopt mobile payments. Subgroup analysis further revealed gender-based differences, indicating that the influence of the intention to adopt mobile payment on the adoption of mobile payment for e-hailing services varied significantly between male and female respondents. Furthermore, the influence of facilitating conditions on the intention to adopt mobile payment for e-hailing services also differed significantly among respondents of different age groups. These findings contribute to a better understanding of the factors influencing the adoption of mobile payment for e-hailing services and provide insights for service providers and policymakers in promoting its adoption.

Abstract
The previous decade witnessed the dynamic progress that information systems (ISs) brought about in business performances. In this regard, an effective and efficient organization reflects heightened performance through the use of financial systems like the Accounting Information System (AIS) as the system automates the processes and improves efficiencies. In the current times, AIS has been the reason behind the optimum performance of businesses, with past studies evidencing its successful role dependent on critical success factors. Hence, the primary aim of this study is to evaluate AIS through the use of De Lone and Mc Lean's information sys-tem model (DM ISM) among Sudanese banks. The system focuses on critical factors including information quality, system quality, service quality, system usage and user satisfaction and their effects on the performance of banks in Sudan. Accordingly, this study made use of self-administered survey questionnaire to collect data from 103 AIS user, after which PLS-SEM was employed for data validation. The findings supported the significant effects of system and information quality on system usage but not services quality. Also, AIS use was found to significantly affect the performance of business. The study contributed to literature concerning IS in light of AIS benefits determinants, and it validated the proposed model among firms in Sudan. In effect, the study has both theoretical and practical significance, and it provided limitations, implications and future studies recommendations.

Abstract
Working in a hospital environment is known for presenting unhealthy features that affect the workers' health-features which have currently been intensified due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, this longitudinal study aimed to ascertain the level of job stress before and during the COVID-19 pandemic, how this changed, and its association with the dietary patterns of hospital workers. Data on sociodemographic, occupational, lifestyle, health, anthropometric, dietetic, and occupational stress were collected before and during the pandemic from 218 workers at a private hospital in the Recôncavo of Bahia, Brazil. McNemar's chi-square test was used for comparison purposes, Exploratory Factor Analysis to identify dietary patterns, and Generalized Estimating Equations to evaluate the interested associations. During the pandemic, participants reported increased occupational stress, shift work, and weekly workloads, compared with before the pandemic. Additionally, three dietary patterns were identified before and during the pandemic. No association was observed between changes in occupational stress and dietary pattens. However, COVID-19 infection was related to changes in pattern A (0.647, IC95%0.044;1.241, p = 0.036) and the amount of shift work related to changes in pattern B, (0.612, IC95%0.016;1.207, p = 0.044). These findings support calls to strengthen labour policies to ensure adequate working conditions for hospital workers in the pandemic context.

Abstract
Public acceptance is important for the provision of potentially hazardous facilities and may be affected by many factors such as perceived risk/benefit/stress/fairness and public trust. In this study, the underlying mechanism behind the influence of perceived stress on public acceptance of waste-to-energy (WTE) incinerators was explored by structural equation modeling of a face-to-face questionnaire survey of 1066 urban residents in three regional central cities in China. The results indicate that, firstly, the perceived stress of the laypeople has an impact on their acceptance by influencing risk/fairness they perceived and public trust. Secondly, the paths of influence of individual perceptions on acceptance differ between cities with different economic, cultural, and social characteristics. Perceived stress mainly affects public acceptance through perceived risk in the eastern residents while perceived stress mainly affects public acceptance through public trust in the western residents. The findings clarify the theoretical role of perceived stress in shaping laypeople's acceptance of potentially hazardous facilities which are of value for both governments and owners in siting potentially hazardous facilities.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Sensitivity to working environmental risks is essential to ensure the safety of geological investigators, but persistent perceived risks may lead to occupational strain, with negative effects on physical and mental health. This study aimed to find ways to reduce the negative consequences of working environmental risk perception without losing situational awareness. METHODS A questionnaire survey was conducted with 268 participants from geological survey organizations, measuring their perception of working environmental risk, occupational strain, perceived organizational support, and other stressors. RESULTS (1) The perception of working environmental risk and occupational strain of geological investigators was significantly higher than that of administrative staff, managers, and scientific researchers. (2) Working environmental risk is an important predictor of occupational strain in geological investigators even after controlling for other stressors. (3) Different dimensions of perceived organizational support play different roles in stress management; socio-emotional support negatively predicts occupational strain, and instrumental support moderates the relationship between working environmental risk perception and occupational strain. CONCLUSIONS Our findings identify working environmental risk as one of the most prominent stressors for geological investigators. Socio-emotional support directly reduces occupational strain, while instrumental support buffers the effect of risk perception on occupational strain.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic drew the attention of all industries and organizations to the importance of comprehensive preparation for various types of crises and disruptions. Without proper risk management for crisis situations, it is impossible to talk about organizational resilience, maintaining organizational continuity, or ensuring the company's ability to protect workers' lives and health in a crisis. While the COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly reshaping the work environment, significant challenges related to risk management are emerging. The purpose of this research paper is to examine the impact of a pandemic on the risk perception in an organization by managers of all three levels (strategic, operational, and line level) and to examine the impact of broadly understood risk management on organizational performance. For the examination of operational risk perception, empirical research was conducted in Polish enterprises. The methodology of the survey is based on a questionnaire of operational risk and risk management perception in a post-COVID-19 work environment. According to the survey results, risk management was generally perceived better than the level of operational risk, compared to the period before the pandemic. Therefore, a substantial improvement in risk management during the crisis allowed the surveyed organizations to cope with the pandemic, and even slightly enhance their performance. Organizations have been able to achieve their goals mainly by slightly reducing risk appetite and lowering the tolerable risk level threshold. Even so, organizations have improved their ability to adapt and seize opportunities.

Abstract
Non-coal-mining accidents occur frequently in China, and individual unsafe behaviors are the direct cause. The cognitive diversity of practitioners in the non-coal-mining industry leads to various behaviors in work and hinders communication between groups. The aim of this study is to analyze the differences in risk perception (accidents and occupational diseases) between non-coal-mining practitioners (experts, miners, and managers) and to explore the contributing factors. The questionnaire survey method was used to collect the data on risk perception and influencing factors from 402 respondents working in non-coal mines and universities in China. Project analysis and exploratory factor analysis were used for preprocessing. A t-test and linear regression analysis were used to test the significance of the differences and assess the function of the factors, respectively. Regarding risk perception, two risks both have significant differences between the three groups. With the perceptions of accidents and occupational diseases ranked from high to low, the order of the practitioners is as follows: managers (3.88), experts (3.71), miners (3.55) and experts (4.14), miners (3.90), and managers (3.88). Regarding the influencing factors, risk attitude, risk communication, educational level, enterprise trust, and occupational satisfaction have great effects on the three groups. More precisely, three groups have different important predictors. Risk attitude has the greatest impact on miners (0.290) and experts (0.369), but sensibility preference has the greatest impact on managers (0.518). In summary, cognitive discrepancies are common among non-coal-mining practitioners, but the degree of deviation varies with the type and dimension of the risk. There are six factors that have a significant impact on all practitioners, but the effect is limited by specific risks and groups.

Abstract
This study examines nurses' Continuance Intention (CI) to use electronic health records (EHRs) through a combination of three conceptual frameworks: the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), the theory of expectation-confirmation (ECT), and the Five-Factor Model (FFM). A model is developed to examine and predict the determinants of nurses' CI to use EHRs, including top management support (TMS) and the FFM's five personality domains. Data were collected from a survey of 497 nurses, which were analyzed using partial least squares. No significant relationship was found between TMS and CI. The study revealed that performance expectancy significantly mediated the influences of two different hypotheses of two predictors: agreeableness and openness to testing CI. A significant moderating impact of conscientiousness was found on the relationship between performance expectancy and CI and the relationship between social influence and CI. The findings of this study indicated that rigorous attention to the personality of individual nurses and substantial TMS could improve nurses' CI to use EHRs. A literature gap was filled concerning the mediating effects of performance expectancy on the FFM-CI relationship, and the moderation effects of Conscientiousness on UTAUT constructs and CI are another addition to the literature. The results are expected to assist government agencies, health policymakers, and health institutions all over the globe in their attempts to understand the post-adoption use of EHRs.

Abstract
Background In previous questionnaire surveys of miners, sleep disorders were found among underground workers. The influence of the special deep-underground environment and its potential mechanism are still unclear. Therefore, this study intends to utilize LC-MS metabolomics to study the potential differences between different environments and different sleep qualities. Methods Twenty-seven miners working at 645-1,500 m deep wells were investigated in this study, and 12 local ground volunteers were recruited as the control group. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) was used to examine and evaluate the sleep status of the subjects in the past month, and valuable basic information about the participants was collected. PSQI scores were obtained according to specific calculation rules, and the corresponding sleep grouping and subsequent analysis were carried out. Through liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) non-targeted metabolomics analysis, differences in metabolism were found by bioinformatics analysis in different environments. Results Between the deep-underground and ground (DUvsG) group, 316 differential metabolites were identified and 125 differential metabolites were identified in the good sleep quality vs. poor sleep quality (GSQvsPSQ) group. The metabolic pathways of Phenylalanine, tyrosine and tryptophan biosynthesis (p = 0.0102) and D-Glutamine and D-glutamate metabolism (p = 0.0241) were significantly enriched in DUvsG. For GSQvsPSQ group, Butanoate metabolism was statistically significant (p = 0.0276). L-Phenylalanine, L-Tyrosine and L-Glutamine were highly expressed in the deep-underground group. Acetoacetic acid was poorly expressed, and 2-hydroxyglutaric acid was highly expressed in good sleep quality. Conclusions The influence of the underground environment on the human body is more likely to induce specific amino acid metabolism processes, and regulate the sleep-wake state by promoting the production of excitatory neurotransmitters. The difference in sleep quality may be related to the enhancement of glycolytic metabolism, the increase in excitatory neurotransmitters and the activation of proinflammation. L-phenylalanine, L-tyrosine and L-glutamine, Acetoacetic acid and 2-hydroxyglutaric acid may be potential biomarkers correspondingly.

Abstract
The Accounting Information System (AIS) is generally employed for the automation of operational processes and the enhancement of company efficiencies, but more recently, AIS developments have had a great effect on the process of sustainable decision-making among organizations. However, previous research on the AIS and its capabilities attributed its success to critical success factors. Therefore, in the current work, De Lone and Mc Lean’s Information System (D&M IS) Success Model is evaluated in terms of AIS in Jordanian organizations. The current study primarily aimed to determine the influence of system quality, service quality, information quality, system use and user satisfaction on AIS use, which is argued to eventually enhance the quality and sustainability of decision-making. The study employed a quantitative approach using a self-administered questionnaire for data collection involving 101 decision-makers who are familiar with AIS usage. Following the collection of data, it was validated using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM)—PLS. Based on the obtained results, system quality and information quality significant affected system use, but service quality did not. In turn, AIS was found to have a significant effect on user satisfaction. Furthermore, system use and user satisfaction had positive effects on AIS, which eventually affected the sustainability of decision-making, representing the net AIS benefits. The study contributes to existing IS literature, particularly in the field of determining the factors that influence the AIS net benefits, with the proposed model validated in Jordanian organizations using AIS. The study can be used as a guide to shed light on the importance of AIS and it also provides implications, limitations and opportunities for future studies.

Abstract
The most current highly infectious disease, which has become a global health challenge permeating entire sectors of society, is COVID-19. In the education sector, the transmission of COVID-19 has been curbed through the closure of institutions and the facilitation of online learning. The main objective of this study was to propose an integrated model of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology combined with the DeLone and McLean model, to examine the influence of quality features, namely, performance expectancy (PE), effort expectancy (EE), facilitating conditions (FC), and social influence (SI), on the intentions and satisfaction of users toward mobile learning (m-learning) use in the context of Saudi learning institutions. The study obtained m-learning user data using an online questionnaire, after which the data were exposed to partial least squares structural equation modeling to test the proposed research model. The findings supported the influence of PE, EE, and FC on intention toward m-learning use but did not support the significant influence of SI. Moreover, system, intention, and user satisfaction were found to positively and significantly influence m-learning-system usage, with system, information, and service quality being top drivers of such user intention and satisfaction. The results reflect the required information concerning the strategies of higher institutions to enhance m-learning-system acceptance among students, with general implications for learning acceptance and usage.

Abstract
The pandemic's context is rife with numerous dangerous threats and high fear levels, influencing human decision-making. Such characteristics are identified by investigating the acceptance of exposure detection apps from the technology acceptance model (TAM) perspective. This study purposed a model to investigate protection technology acceptance, specifically exposure detection apps in the context of COVID-19. Quantitative study approach and a cross-section design targeted 586 participants from Saudi Arabia. As the study model is complex, the study hypotheses were analysed using the structural equation modelling-partial least squares (SEM-PLS3) approach. The findings support the entire model hypothesis except the link between social media awareness and exposure detection apps' intention. Mediation of COVID-19 anxiety and influence was confirmed as well. The current paper contributes to the technologies acceptance domain by developing a context-driven model comprising the major pandemic characteristics that lead to various patterns of technology acceptance. This study also fills the literature gap regarding mediating effects of social influence and COVID-19 anxiety in the relationship between trust in government and exposure detection apps implementation, and between COVID-19 anxiety and exposure detection apps implementation, respectively. The results may assist government agencies, health policymakers, and health organisations in the wide world and specifically Saudi Arabia, in their attempts to contain the COVID-19 pandemic spread.

Abstract
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are the pillars on which most businesses worldwide rest. Thus, without the support of qualified information systems, it can be very challenging for them to improve their performance and difficult for them to reach sustainability goals. Despite the essentiality of economic sustenance for a competitive advantage in the postmodern industrial era, Jordanian SMEs are hampered with multiple challenges, such as accounting information quality, which supports various organizational decisions. The prevalence of information technology (IT) optimizes accounting operations through accounting-based information. A computerized accounting system (accounting information system, or AIS) facilitates accurate reporting, processes large-scale transactions, and generates meaningful reporting for subsequent evaluation. Given the lack of AIS implementation in SMEs, despite its notable advantages, this study aims to investigate the AIS-implementation antecedents and their implications towards sustainable business performance among Jordanian SMEs. An integrated model was recommended based on the technology–organization–environment (TOE) framework and resource-dependency theory (RDT) for the incorporation of AIS-implementation elements and sustainable business performance into one model. A self-administered questionnaire was disseminated among 194 respondents within the context of Jordanian SMEs for data collection and evaluation using structural equation modelling (SEM). Based on the study outcomes, external pressure, compatibility, financial support, top management support (TMS), and external assistance significantly impacted AIS implementation, which subsequently catalyzed sustainable business performance. Such results could offer useful insights into how organizations could optimize AIS implementation for sustainable business performance and expand the current body of literature on IS- or IT-implementation antecedents and impacts. The implications of this study are that SMEs should develop effective AIS implementation in order to reach sustainability goals. Therefore, we recommend and encourage SMEs decision makers to utilize AIS for their businesses.

Abstract
The primary objective of this study is to explain the factors that influence the continuance intention of accountants to use an accounting information system (AIS) in the context of Jordanian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Accountants are the main AIS users, and their system acceptance and use are crucial to evaluating the successful implementation of the system. The study conducted a cross-sectional survey on SMEs that have fully implemented an AIS. The proposed framework of the study is based on the extended unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model and top management support (TMS). The results revealed that the examined variables, namely effort expectancy, performance expectancy and facilitating conditions, have a positive effect on the continuance intention of accountants to use AIS, with TMS having a significant and negative effect on such intention to use. In addition, social influence was found to be significantly related to continuance intention, confirming the need to support technologies such as AIS among SMEs. The study findings contribute to UTAUT theory as they supported the effects of TMS on continuance intention to use and established the study framework measurement accuracy in the context of Jordanian SMEs.

Abstract
This study aims to investigate students’ perceptions about the Madrasati platform as well as to identify the crucial factors that could influence the adoption of the Madrasati platform. Online quantitative survey method was employed to collect the data. SEM modelling method was adopted to analyze the hypotheses in the research model. The findings of the study indicate system quality, service quality and content quality, technology infrastructure, awareness, university management support, security concerns and training have a primary role in increasing the usage of the Madrasati platform in Saudi Arabia. The findings indicate that all factors have a significant influence on Madrasati platform-adoption among students. This research contributes to the body of knowledge and Madrasati platform-adoption practices. Likewise, it may help facilitate and promote the usage of Madrasati platform among students in Saudi universities.
