Abstract
Tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH), a prevalent antibiotic in aquaculture for treating bacterial infections, poses challenges for on-site detection. This study employed the reversed-phase microemulsion method to synthesize a uniform nano metal-organic framework (MOF) material, europium-benzene-p-dicarboxylic acid (Eu-BDC), doped with Tb3+ to form a dual-emission fluorescence probe. By leveraging the combined a-photoinduced electron-transfer (a-PET) and inner filter effect (IFE) mechanisms, high-sensitivity TCH detection in Carassius auratus and Ruditapes philippinarum was achieved. The detection range for TCH is 0.380-75 μM, with a low limit of detection (LOD) at 0.115 μM. Upon TCH binding, Eu-BDC fluorescence rapidly decreased, while Tb3+ fluorescence remained constant, establishing a ratiometric fluorescence change. Investigation into the TCH quenching mechanism on Eu-BDC was conducted using time-dependent density functional theory (TD-DFT) calculations and fluorescence quenching kinetic equations, suggesting a mixed quenching mechanism. Furthermore, a novel photoelectric conversion fluorescence detection device (FL-2) was developed and evaluated in conjunction with high-performance liquid chromatography-diode-array detection (HPLC-DAD). This is the first dedicated fluorescence device for TCH detection, showcasing superior photoelectric conversion performance and stability that reduces experimental errors associated with smartphone photography methods, presenting a promising avenue for on-site rapid TCH detection.

Abstract
Sulfadiazine (SFZ) is an inexpensive large-consumption antibiotic used for treat bacterial infections but an excess of residues in food can be harmful. Fast and specific luminescence detection of SFZ is highly challenging because of the interference of structurally similar antibiotics. In this work, we develop a two-dimensional europium-organic coordination polymer with excellent luminescence and water stability for highly specific detection of SFZ in the range of 0-0.2 mM. Structural analysis shows that the high stability of coordination polymer is due to the high coordination number of europium ion and the special chelating coordination structure of ligand. The experiment results revealed that the high selectivity and effectively luminescence quenched behaviour of coordination polymer toward SFZ is caused by highly efficient inner filter effect.

Abstract
Multi-emission materials have come to prominent attention ascribed to their extended applications other than single-emission ones. General and robust design strategies of a single matrix with multi-emission under single excitation are urgently required. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are porous materials prepared with organic ligands and metal nodes. The variety of metal nodes and ligands makes MOFs with great superiority as multi-emission matrices. Guest species encapsulated into the channels or pores of MOFs are the additional emission sites for multi-emission. In this review, multi-emission MOFs according to the different excitation sites are summarized and classified. The emission mechanisms are discussed, such as antenna effect, excited-state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) and tautomerism for dual-emission. The factors that affect the emissions are revealed, including ligand-metal energy transfer and host-guest interaction, etc. Multi-emission MOFs could be predictably designed and prepared, once the emissive factors are controlled rationally in combination with the different multi-emission mechanisms. Correspondingly, new and practical applications are realized, including but not limited to ratiometric/multi-target sensing and bioimaging, white light-emitting diodes, and anti-counterfeiting. The design strategies of multi-emission MOFs and their extensive applications are reviewed. The results will shed light on other multi-emission systems to develop the structure-derived functionality and applications.

Abstract
The high speed of contaminants growth needs the burgeoning of new analytical techniques to keep up with the continuous demand for monitoring and legislation on food safety and environmental pollution control. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a kind of advanced crystal porous materials with controllable apertures, which are self-assembled by organic ligands and inorganic metal nodes. They have the merits of large specific surface areas, high porosity and the diversity of structures and functions. Latterly, the utilization of metal-organic frameworks has attracted much attention in environmental protection and the food industry. MOFs have exhibited great value as sensing materials for many targets. Among many sensing methods, fluorometric sensing is one of the widely studied methods in the detection of harmful substances in food and environmental samples. Fluorometric detection based on MOFs and its functional materials is currently one of the most key research subjects in the food and environmental fields. It has gradually become a hot research direction to construct the highly sensitive rapid sensors to detect harmful substances in the food matrix based on metal-organic frameworks. In this paper, we introduced the synthesis and detection application characteristics (absorption, fluorescence, etc.) of metal-organic frameworks. We summarized their applications in the MOFs-based fluorometric detection of harmful substances in food and water over the past few years. The harmful substances mainly include heavy metals, organic pollutants and other small molecules, etc. On this basis, the future development and possible application of the MOFs have prospected in this review paper.

Abstract
Effective detection of organic/inorganic pollutants, such as antibiotics, nitro-compounds, excessive Fe3+ and MnO4 - , is crucial for human health and environmental protection. Here, a new terbium(III)-organic framework, namely [Tb(TATAB)(H2 O)]⋅2H2 O (Tb-MOF, H3 TATAB=4,4',4''-s-triazine-1,3,5-triyltri-m-aminobenzoic acid), was assembled and characterized. The Tb-MOF exhibits a water-stable 3D bnn framework. Due to the existence of competitive absorption, Tb-MOF has a high selectivity for detecting Fe3+ , MnO4 - , 4-nirophenol and nitroimidazole (ronidazole, metronidazole, dimetridazole, ornidazole) in aqueous through luminescent quenching. The results suggest that Tb-MOF is a simple and reliable reagent with multiple sensor responses in practical applications. To the best of our knowledge, this work represents the first TbIII -based MOF as an efficient fluorescent sensor for detecting metal ions, inorganic anions, nitro-compounds, and antibiotics simultaneously.

Abstract
The host-guest composite, RhB@Tb-dcpcpt, is synthesized by trapping rhodamine B (RhB) into the channels of [Me2NH2][Tb3(dcpcpt)3(HCOO)]·DMF·15H2O (Tb-dcpcpt, DMF = N,N'-dimethylformamide) via an ion-exchange process. The photophysical property of RhB@Tb-dcpcpt exhibits stable columinescence of RhB and Tb3+ ions in the whole excitation range of 300-390 nm, realizing an excitation-wavelength-independent yellow light emission. Powder X-ray diffraction and photoluminescence analysis illustrate the outstanding stabilities of RhB@Tb-dcpcpt on structural and photophysical properties in water medium. Subsequently, a bifunctional sensing process toward antibiotics is designed in terms of luminescent intensity and color. As a result, RhB@Tb-dcpcpt could realize sensitive and selective detection toward nitrofuran antibiotics (nitrofurazone and nitrofurantoin) via luminescent quenching process and toward quinolone antibiotics (ciprofloxacin and norfloxacin) via luminescent color-changing process. Systematic analysis on the sensing mechanism reveals that photoinduced electron transfer and inner filter effect contribute to the realization of the sensing process.
