Abstract
BACKGROUND The use of health applications (apps) in smartphones increased exponentially during COVID-19. This study was conducted the with the aim to understand the factors that determine the consumer's perception of health apps in smartphones towards telemedicine during COVID-19 and to test any relation between these factors and consumers towards Telemedicine in India. METHODS This questionnaire-based cross-sectional study was conducted from July 2021 to December 2021 in India. Out of 600 selected participants, 594 responded and in that 535 valid questionnaires were measured. The questionnaire consists of close-ended responses, with the first part consisting of demographic information, the second part consisting of questions associated with consumers' perceptions and the third part kept for suggestions and complaints. The questionnaire was distributed using digital platforms via WhatsApp or email. A 5-point Likert scale, ranging from strongly agree' (5) to strongly disagree (1) was used to record responses. RESULTS Results revealed a high response rate of 90%. The highest score was obtained for the question assessing the satisfaction of the users towards health apps [1175 = 500 (agree-4) + 675 (Strongly agree-5)]. The interface of the app scored very low, showing disagreement (514) with app functionality, and was the most common disadvantage as perceived by patients. The mean scores of reliabilities and vicinity of health services; efficacy and comprehensive health information; development and improvement of health apps and telemedicine (3.24, 3.18, 3.62, 3.49), respectively, show the difference in attraction existing between groups. There is a strong positive correlation between the variables except for efficacy and comprehensive information about health and Telemedicine (-0.249), development and improvement of health apps, and reliability and vicinity of health services (-0.344) which have a negative correlation. CONCLUSIONS The findings of this survey reveal a positive outlook of health apps toward telemedicine. This research also found a strong forecaster of the consumer's perception of health apps in smartphones towards telemedicine. In the broad spectrum, the future of health app affiliates for telemedicine is better affected by the consumer's perception of health app efficacy. This study suggests that health app marketers develop more innovative apps to increase usage and help consumers.

Abstract
Telemedicine is a subunit of telehealth, and it uses telecommunication technology, video, digital images, and electronic medical records to allow the exchange of clinical information and images over remote distances for dental consultation, diagnosis, and treatment planning. Dental clinical practice requires face-to-face interaction with the patients, and therefore, during the COVID-19 pandemic, it has mostly been suspended. In this view, teledentistry offers the opportunity to continue dental practice, avoiding the face-to-face examination that put patients and healthcare professionals at infection risk. Teledentistry encompasses several subunits such as teleconsultation, telediagnosis, telemonitoring, and teletriage. To date, there are several experiences described in literature that suggest that teledentistry could be applied to support traditional care of different oral diseases. However, there are some issues that need to be addressed. Reimbursement concerns, costs, license regulations, limits in physical examinations, and expert equipment are principal issues that should be overcome in telemedicine and in teledentistry. In this narrative review, we provide an overview of the different teledentistry approaches in the care of patients with dental and temporomandibular disorders, as well as discussing the issues that need to be addressed to implement this approach in clinical practice.

Abstract
In 2019, a massive and deadly coronavirus pandemic known as the COVID-19 pandemic has swept through more than 180 nations, causing a massive strain on already overtaxed health systems around the globe. Global demand for medical equipment has put a strain on traditional manufacturing methods, resulting in the need for an efficient, low-cost, and speedy mode of production. Additive manufacturing, or 3D printing, has been used by manufacturers to bridge the gap and enhance the production of medical products. Some designs that had been previously or conventionally fabricated have been revised to meet the 3D printing requirement for combating COVID-19. A variety of designs were created, and they are now in use in hospitals by patients and healthcare professionals. However, because some gadgets must adhere to rigorous standards, it is possible that some items will not meet these requirements. As a result, in order to protect the health of the user, it is necessary to understand each gadget, its usage, and industry standards. An investigation of the usage of additive manufacturing during the COVID-19 epidemic is presented in this paper. It brings together the manufacturers of a variety of 3D-printed products, including face shields, face masks, valves, nasopharyngeal swabs, and others, to debate their application and regulatory concerns in the medical field. The primary shortcoming of technology, discussed in reference to the next pandemic, is addressed here. It also looks at some of the ways that additive manufacturing could be used in the future during an emergency.

Abstract
3D-printing technology provided numerous contributions to the health sector during the recent Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. Several of the 3D-printed medical devices like personal protection equipment (PPE), ventilators, specimen collectors, safety accessories, and isolation wards/ chambers were printed in a short time as demands for these were rising significantly. The review discusses some of these contributions of 3D-printing that helped to protect several lives during this health emergency. By enlisting some of the significant benefits of using the 3D-printing technique during an emergency over other conventional methods, this review claims that the former opens enormous possibilities in times of serious shortage of supply and exceeding demands. This review acknowledges the collaborative approaches adopted by individuals, entrepreneurs, academicians, and companies that helped in forming a global network for delivering 3D-printed medical/non-medical components, when other supply chains were disrupted. The collaboration of the 3D-printing technology with the global health community unfolds new and significant opportunities in the future.

Abstract
Coronavirus disease is now spreading in different countries of the world. The alarmism created through the media also creates confusion in people about virus spreading. The health care environments among which the dental practice could be places of spread of the virus, especially places where patients with systemic pathology could be exposed to this. The purpose of this article is to clarify coronavirus disease 2019 and its management in the dental practice. Only by following the normal guidelines on disinfection and sterilization of environments and operators, with some additional rules on the management of patients in the waiting room, it is possible to limit this risk. Limiting the risk of spreading the virus is one of the keys to its eradication.

Abstract
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), has spread through more than 180 countries, leading to diverse health systems overload around the world. Because of the high number of patients and the supply chain disruption, it generated a shortage of medical devices and personal protective equipment. In this context, initiatives from the additive manufacturing community emerged to fight the lack of devices. Diverse designs were produced and are currently being used in hospitals by patients and health workers. However, as some devices must follow strict standards, these products may not fulfill these standards. Therefore, to ensure the user's health, there is a need for understanding each device, their usage, and standards. This study reviews the use of additive manufacturing during COVID-19 pandemic. It gathers the source of several 3D printed devices such as face shields, face masks, valves, nasopharyngeal swabs, and others, discussing their use and regulatory issues. In this regard, the major drawbacks of the technology, addressed for the next pandemic scenario, are highlighted. Finally, some insights of the future of additive manufacturing during emergency are given and discussed.

Abstract
This study aimed to design and fabricate a customized distractor based on 3D printing technology and compare its mechanical properties with conventional distractor. The investigators designed and implemented a study composed of conventional and customized distractors. The design of customized distractor was based on the specification of conventional mandibular distractors and was fabricated using selective laser melting (SLM) technology. The same type of conventional distractors served as control group. Vickers-hardness test, three-point bending test and welding strength test were carried out for the conventional and customized distractor respectively and data was analyzed with t test using SPSS13.0 software package. The sample was composed of 18 distractors grouped as follows: customized distractor (n = 9) and conventional distractor (n = 9). The customized distractor showed better result than the conventional distractor in mechanical property tests, with statistically significant differences in Vickers-hardness and maximum load (P < 0.05), and no significant differences in yield strength and welding strength (P > 0.05). The results of this study suggest indicated that compared to the conventional distractor, the customized distractor had better mechanical properties and could be used in maxillofacial distraction osteogenesis.

Abstract
The coronavirus pandemic is causing confusion in the world. This confusion also affects the different guidelines adopted by each country. The persistence of Coronavirus, responsible for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) has been evaluated by different articles, but it is still not well-defined, and the method of diffusion is unclear. The aim of this manuscript is to underline new Coronavirus persistence features on different environments and surfaces. The scientific literature is still poor on this topic and research is mainly focused on therapy and diagnosis, rather than the characteristics of the virus. These data could be an aid to summarize virus features and formulate new guidelines and anti-spread strategies.
