Abstract
Gaucher disease (GD) is an autosomal recessive ailment resulting from glucocerebrosidase deficiency caused by a mutation in the GBA1 gene, leading to multi-organ problems in the liver, spleen, and bone marrow. In China, GD is extremely uncommon and has a lower incidence rate than worldwide. In this study, we report the case of an adult male with an enlarged spleen for 13 years who presented with abdominal distension, severe loss of appetite and weight, reduction of the three-line due to hypersplenism, frequent nosebleeds, and bloody stools. Regrettably, the unexpected discovery of splenic pathology suggestive of splenic Gaucher disease was only made after a splenectomy due to a lack of knowledge about rare disorders. Our patient's delayed diagnosis may have been due to the department where he was originally treated, but it highlights the need for multidisciplinary consultation in splenomegaly of unknown etiology. We then investigated the patient's clinical phenotypes and gene mutation features using genetically phenotypical analysis. The analysis of the GBA1 gene sequence indicated that the patient carried a compound heterozygous mutation consisting of two potentially disease-causing mutations: c.907C > A (p. Leu303Ile) and c.1448 T > C (p. Leu483Pro). While previous research has linked the p. Leu483Pro mutation site to neurologic GD phenotypes (GD2 and GD3), the patients in this investigation were identified as having non-neuronopathic GD1. The other mutation, p. Leu303Ile, is a new GD-related mutation not indexed in PubMed that enriches the GBA1 gene mutation spectrum. Biosignature analysis has shown that both mutations alter the protein's three-dimensional structure, which may be a pathogenic mechanism for GD1 in this patient.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cholesterol ester storage disorder (CESD; OMIM: 278,000) was formerly assumed to be an autosomal recessive allelic genetic condition connected to diminished lysosomal acid lipase (LAL) activity due to LIPA gene abnormalities. CESD is characterized by abnormal liver function and lipid metabolism, and in severe cases, liver failure can occur leading to death. In this study, one Chinese nonclassical CESD pedigree with dominant inheritance was phenotyped and analyzed for the corresponding gene alterations. METHODS Seven males and eight females from nonclassical CESD pedigree were recruited. Clinical features and LAL activities were documented. Whole genome Next-generation sequencing (NGS) was used to screen candidate genes and mutations, Sanger sequencing confirmed predicted mutations, and qPCR detected LIPA mRNA expression. RESULTS Eight individuals of the pedigree were speculatively thought to have CESD. LAL activity was discovered to be lowered in four living members of the pedigree, but undetectable in the other four deceased members who died of probable hepatic failure. Three of the four living relatives had abnormal lipid metabolism and all four had liver dysfunctions. By liver biopsy, the proband exhibited diffuse vesicular fatty changes in noticeably enlarged hepatocytes and Kupffer cell hyperplasia. Surprisingly, only a newly discovered heterozygous mutation, c.1133T>C (p. Ile378Thr) on LIPA, was found by gene sequencing in the proband. All living family members who carried the p.I378T variant displayed reduced LAL activity. CONCLUSIONS Phenotypic analyses indicate that this may be an autosomal dominant nonclassical CESD pedigree with a LIPA gene mutation.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the short-term efficacy and adverse reactions of orelabrutinib combined with high-dose methotrexate (HD-MTX) in the first-line treatment of elderly high-risk primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL), as well as the survival of patients. METHODS Twenty-five elderly patients with high-risk primary central nervous system diffuse large B-cell lymphoma admitted to Fujian Provincial Hospital from June 2016 to June 2022 were enrolled in this study, and complete clinical data from all patients were collected retrospectively, and the cut-off for follow-up was December 2022. 15 patients had received temmozolomide combined with HD-MTX regimen for at least four cycles, sequential lenalidomide maintenance therapy, while 10 patients had received orelabrutinib combined with HD-MTX regimen for at least four cycles, sequential orelabrutinib maintenance therapy. The short-term efficacy and adverse reactions of the two groups of patients after treatment were observed. Kaplan-Meier was used to analyze the progression-free survival (PFS) and time to progression (TTP). RESULTS The objective response rate (ORR) and 2-year median FPS of orelabrutinib combined with HD-MTX regimen group were similar to the temozolomide combined with HD-MTX regimen group (ORR: 100% vs 66.7%; 2-year median PFS: 16 months vs 15 months, P>0.05). The 2-year median TTP of the orelabrutinib+HD-MTX regimen group was better than that of the temozolomide+HD-MTX regimen group (not reached vs 12 months, P<0.05). There were no significant differences in adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal reactions, bone marrow suppression, liver and kidney damage, cardiotoxicity, pneumonia and bleeding between these two groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSION For elderly patients with high-risk PCNSL, orelabrutinib combined with HD-MTX has reliable short-term efficacy, good safety, and tolerable adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Abstract
Bacterial leaf blight (BLB) caused by Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) has a significant impact on rice yield and quality worldwide. Traditionally, bactericide application has been commonly used to control this devastating disease. However, the overuse of fungicides has led to a number of problems such as the development of resistance and environmental pollution. Therefore, the development of new methods and approaches for disease control are still urgent. In this paper, a series of cinnamic acid derivatives were designed and synthesized, and three novel T3SS inhibitors A10, A12 and A20 were discovered. Novel T3SS inhibitors A10, A12 and A20 significantly inhibited the hpa1 promoter activity without affecting Xoo growth. Further studies revealed that the title compounds A10, A12 and A20 significantly impaired hypersensitivity in non-host plant tobacco leaves, while applications on rice significantly reduced symptoms of bacterial leaf blight. RT-PCR showed that compound A20 inhibited the expression of T3SS-related genes. In summary, this work exemplifies the potential of the title compound as an inhibitor of T3SS and its efficacy in the control of bacterial leaf blight.

Abstract
To date, over 200 families with hereditary leiomyomatosis and renal cell carcinoma (HLRCC) and over 600 families with Birt-Hogg-Dubé (BHD) syndrome have been reported, with low incidence. Here, we describe a patient with suspected rare HLRCC complicated by BHD syndrome. The proband (II1) had characteristic cutaneous leiomyoma-like protrusions on the neck and back, a left renal mass and multiple right renal, liver and bilateral lung cysts. Three family members (I1, II2, II3) had a history of renal cancer and several of the aforementioned clinical features. Two family members (II1, II3) diagnosed with fumarate hydratase (FH)-deficient papillary RCC via pathological biopsy carried two heterozygous variants: FH (NM_000143.3) missense mutation c.1189G>A (p.Gly397Arg) and FLCN (NM_144997.5) frameshift mutation c.1579_1580insA (p.Arg527Glnfs*75). No family member carrying a single variant had renal tumours. In HEK293T cells transfected with mutant vectors, mRNA and protein expression after FLCN p.Arg527Glnfs*75 and FH p.Gly397Arg mutations were significantly lower than those in wild-type (WT) cells. Cell immunofluorescence showed altered protein localisation and reduced protein expression after FLCN p.Arg527Glnfs*75 mutation. The FH WT was uniformly distributed in the cytoplasm, whereas FH protein expression was reduced after the p.Gly397Arg mutation and scattered sporadically with altered cell localisation. Patients with two variants may have a significantly increased penetrance of RCC.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Systemic lupus erythematosus is an autoimmune disease that involves multiple organ systems. One of its major complications, lupus nephritis (LN), is associated with a high mortality rate, and children-onset LN have a more severe course and worse prognosis than adults. Oxidative stress and inflammatory responses are involved in LN development and pathogenesis. Thus, this study aimed to explore the role of signaling regulation of the Nrf2/HMGB1/TLR/NF-κB pathway in LN pathogenesis and unravel the expression of TLR4+CXCR4+ plasma cells subset (PCs) in LN. METHODS C57BL/6 and MRL/lpr mice were divided into four groups: control, model, vector control, and Nrf2 overexpression groups. The vector control and Nrf2 overexpression groups were injected with adenoviral vectors into the kidney in situ. Pathological changes in kidney tissues were observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining. The expression of Nrf2, HMGB1, TLR4, NF-κB, and downstream inflammatory factors in kidney samples was analyzed by quantitative polymerase chain reaction, western blotting, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. The ratios of TLR4+CXCR4+ PC subsets in the blood and kidneys of mice were determined by flow cytometry. RESULTS In MRL/lpr mice, Nrf2 was downregulated while HMGB1/TLR4/NF-κB pathway proteins were upregulated. Nrf2 overexpression decreased the expression of HMGB1, TLR4, NF-κB, and its downstream inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β and TNFα). These cytokines were negatively correlated with an increase in Nrf2 content. PC and TLR4 + CXCR4 + PCs in the blood and kidney samples were significantly increased in MRL/lpr mice; however, they were decreased upon Nrf2 overexpression. CONCLUSION This study showed severe kidney injury in an LN mouse model and an increased ratio of TLR4 + CXCR4 + PCs. Furthermore, we observed that Nrf2 regulates LN immune response through the Nrf2/HMGB1/TLR4/NF-κB pathway, which can be considered an important target for LN treatment. The clinical value of the findings of our study requires further investigation.

Abstract
Background Behçet’s disease (BD) is a unique autoimmune chronic systemic vasculitis that affects veins and arteries of all sizes. BD can lead to recurrent vascular events, especially venous thrombosis, with an incidence rate of 40%, or pseudoaneurysms formed under long-term inflammatory reaction or iatrogenic stimulation. BD-related risk factors promote endothelial dysfunction, platelet activation and overactivation of tissue factors leading to mural inflammatory thrombi. Thrombosis may be the first clinical manifestation of BD. Case presentation A 32-year-old man complaining of progressive swelling and pain in the right lower extremity for 30 days was initially diagnosed with “venous thrombosis of the right lower extremity,” using color Doppler ultrasonography. Patient underwent inferior vena cava filter placement combined with deep vein angioplasty of the right lower extremity and catheter-directed urokinase thrombolysis. Postoperative oral anticoagulant therapy was administered. However, the patient was readmitted 20 days later for pulsatile pain in the right groin. Prior medical history included 4 years of repeated oral and perineal ulcers, and 2 months of blurred vision. Abdominal computed tomography angiography (CTA) revealed rupture of the right common iliac artery (CIA) and left internal iliac artery (IIA), complicated by a pseudoaneurysm. Based on the clinical manifestations and other auxiliary examination results, the patient was re-diagnosed with “BD combined with deep venous thrombosis of the right lower extremity and an iliac artery pseudoaneurysm.” Stent implantation was performed for iliac artery pseudoaneurysm after symptoms were controlled with timely immunosuppressive therapy. After endovascular treatment, the patient underwent continued immunosuppressive therapy and dynamic reexaminations of abdominal CTA, which revealed that a small amount of contrast agent at the stent in the right CIA continued to flow into the cavity of the pseudoaneurysm; in addition, the size of the pseudoaneurysm was gradually increasing. Therefore, the patient underwent a second stent implantation for iliac artery pseudoaneurysm, and the condition improved further. Conclusion The importance of early diagnosis of BD should be recognized, and the choice of interventional and surgical procedures should be carefully evaluated, as this may trigger further damage to vascular access in BD patients with aneurysm.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To analyze clinical response of the Rituximab-based chemotherapy and prognostic features in patients with primary gastric diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PGDLBCL). METHODS From June 2008 to December 2020, the data of 53 PGDLBCL patients were analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS The median age was 46(25-77) years old in 53 patients including 35 males and 18 females. Stomachache is the most common symptom. The diagnosis were confirmed in 47 patients by endoscopic biopsy and 6 patients by surgery. Twenty-six patients had Ⅰ/Ⅱ1 stage (Lugano staging system) disease and 27 cases had II2/IV stage disease. All patients were treated with chemotherapy, including RCHOP (25/53) and R-DA-EPOCH (28/53). Complete remission rate was 79.2%(42/53). The 3-year and 5-year overall survival (OS) rates were 77.4% and 69.8%. Univariate analysis showed that lactate dehydrogenase(LDH), Lugano stage and lesion size affected OS. Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that IPI score and Lugano stage were independent prognosis risk factors affecting OS. The patients in the R-DA-EPOCH group presented better survival outcomes than those in the RCHOP group with late stage (P5-year OS=0.035). CONCLUSION Rituximab in combination with chemotherapy is the backbone of therapy for PGDLBCL. IPI score and Lugano stage are independent prognosis risk factors affecting OS of PGDLBCL. R-DA-EPOCH can be superior to R-CHOP as a first-line regimen in PGDLBCL patients with late stage.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Bruck syndrome (BS) is a rare autosomal recessive inherited osteogenesis imperfecta disease characterized by increased bone fragility and joint contracture. The pathogenic gene of type I BS is FKBPl0, whereas that of type II BS is PLOD2. No significant difference has been found in the clinical phenotype between the two types of BS. In this study, we performed genetic analysis of a BS pedigree caused by PLOD2 variant and studied the corresponding cellular function. METHODS Serum biochemistry, parathyroid hormone (PTH), 25-hydroxyvitamin D [25-(OH) D], osteocalcin, and 24-h urinary calcium levels of a family member with BS was assessed. The genes of the proband were analyzed by second-generation sequencing and exon capture techniques. Sanger sequencing was also performed for the suspected responsible variant of the family member. Wild- and variant-type lentivirus plasmids were constructed by gene cloning and transfected into HEK293T cells. Cell function was verified by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction, western blotting, and immunofluorescence detection. RESULTS In this pedigree, the proband was found to have a homozygous variant c.1856G > A (p.Arg619His) in exon 17 of PLOD2 (NM_182943.3). His consanguineous parents and sisters were p.Arg619His heterozygous carriers. The mRNA expression of PLOD2 in the constructed p.Arg619His variant cells was significantly upregulated, while the expression of PLOD2 and collagen I protein in the cell lysate was significantly downregulated. Immunofluorescence revealed that the wild-type PLOD2 was mainly located in the cytoplasm, and the expression of the PLOD2 protein after c.1856G > A variant was significantly downregulated, with almost no expression, aligning with the western blot results. The serum sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, alkaline phosphatase, PTH, 25-(OH) D, osteocalcin, and 24 h urinary calcium levels of the proband, his parents, and sisters were normal. CONCLUSION Through gene and cell function analyses, PLOD2 Arg619His missense variant was preliminarily confirmed to cause BS by reducing protein expression.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Hereditary Factor VII Deficiency (FVIID) is a rare congenital autosomal recessive bleeding disorder. In clinical manifestations, its onset is caused by variant of the F7 gene (NM_019616) with strong heterogeneity. We identified a family with hematuria caused by a novel F7 compound heterozygous variant and studied the FVIID-dependent mechanism impacted by these variants. METHODS Coagulation factors in the proband were functionally verified. We located pathogenic variants in relevant genes using next-generation sequencing after target enrichment and verified them by Sanger sequencing. We examined the coagulation activity and secretion pattern of recombinant FVII variants expressed in cells and observed their location and stability by immunofluorescence. RESULTS We found a missense variant c.1207G>A (p.Gly403Ser) and a frameshift variant c.154_155del (p.Arg53fs) in the F7 gene of the proband. FVII activity tests showed that the variants significantly decreased its presence in the cell culture supernatant. Moreover, the R53fs mutant lacked the FVII functional domain and had no detectable activity. Immunofluorescence indicated that the p.Gly403Ser variant was distributed to the cell membrane and cytoplasm, while the FVII R53fs variant was not detected. Deficient FVII protein function and severe coagulation disorder are the likely causes of hematuria and other bleeding symptoms in the proband. CONCLUSION The newly discovered F7 gene variants enrich the spectrum of hereditary FVII deficiency and provide a new foundation for the diagnosis and treatment of this type of coagulation disorder.

Abstract
BACKGROUND It is not easy to identify the cause of various iron overload diseases because the phenotypes overlap. Therefore, it is important to perform genetic testing to determine the genetic background of patients.
AIM To investigate the genetic background of a patient with hemochromatosis complicated by psoriasis on both lower extremities.
METHODS Ten years ago, a 61-year-old male presented with iron overload, jaundice, hemolytic anemia and microcytic hypochromic anemia. Computed tomography of the left knee joint showed enlargement of the tibial medullary cavity and thinned bone cortices. Magnetic resonance imaging showed hepatic hemochromatosis, extensive abnormal signals from bone marrow cavities and nodular lesions in the lateral medullary cavity of the upper left lateral tibia. Single photon emission computed tomography showed radial dots of abnormal concentration in the upper end of the left tibia and radial symmetry of abnormal concentrations in joints of the extremities. The patient showed several hot spot mutations of the HFE and G6PD genes detected by next-generation sequencing, but no responsible gene mutation was found. The thalassemia gene was detected by gap-PCR.
RESULTS The patient was found to carry the -α4.2 and --SEA deletion mutations of the globin gene. These two mutations are common causes of Southeast Asian α-thalassemia, but rarely cause severe widespread non-transfusion secondary hemochromatosis osteoarthropathy. The simultaneous presence of an auxiliary superposition effect of a rare missense mutation of the PIEZO1 gene (NM_001142864, c.C4748T, p.A1583V) was considered. Moreover, several rare mutations of the IFIH1, KRT8, POFUT1, FLG, KRT2, and TGM5 genes may be involved in the pathogenesis of psoriasis.
CONCLUSION The selection of genetic detection methods for hemochromatosis still needs to be based on an in-depth study of the clinical manifestations of the disease.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To study the effect of the DA-EPOCH chemotherapy combined with G-CSF and the CTX therapy with G-CSF on mobilizing and collecting the peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cells and the later hematopoietic recovery. METHODS Forty patients accepted mobilization and collection of peripheral blood stem cells(PBSC) after treated by CTX+G-CSF and DA-EPOCH+G-CSF therapy respectively, and were treated by auto-transfusion after BEAM pre-regimen. The mobilization efficacy, adverse effects and hematopoietic recovery after autologous transplantation were analyzed retrospectively. RESULTS During the CTX+G-CSF mobilization, only one patient achieved the white blood cell(WBC) at 0.8×109/L, while the others were with the lowest WBC level above 2.0×109/L. The platelet counts were all normal with the exception of 3 cases at 80×109/L. The median percentage of CD34+ cells in one period of collection was 0.99(0.35-1.30)%. The median MNC was (3.80±2.05)×1010. The cumulative total of mononuclear cell was (5.84±2.48)×108/kg, and the median CD34+ cell count was 3.84(3.91-6.5)×106/kg. During the DA-EPOCH+G-CSF mobilization, the peripheral WBC count of patients were decreased to the lowest level at (0.2-1.4)×109/L. The platelet counts were all above 40×109/L except for 1 case in which the platelet count was reduced to 8×109/L. The median percentage of CD34+ cells in one period of collection was 0.85(0.34-1.2)%. The median MNC was (3.68±1.56)×1010. The cumulative total of mononuclear cells was (6.01±2.26)×108/kg, and the median CD34+ cell count was 4.44(2.7-7.10)×106/kg. There were no statistical differences between the 2 groups in the median percentage of CD34+ cells, the median MNC, the cumulative total of mononuclear cells and the median CD34+ cell counts (P>0.05). The average acquired time for granulocyte engraftment was 10.00(9.00-11.00) days, and for platelet engraftment was 12.50(11.00-17.25) days, with no statistical difference(P>0.05). No death occurred during the process of transplantation. CONCLUSION DA-EPOCH therapy combined with G-CSF can effectively mobilize the peripheral blood hematopoietic stem cells in NHL patients with higher safety and lower price, and proves to be worth recommending in clinical use.

Abstract
Clausena lansium, also known as wampee (Clausena wampi), is a plant species native to China, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia, where it is widely cultivated, and also grown in India, Sri Lanka, Queensland, Florida, and Hawaii, but less frequently (3). The fruit can be consumed fresh or made into juice, jam, or succade. In summer to fall 2014, a soft rot disease was found in a wampee planting region in Yunan County, Guangdong Province, China. On Sept. 18, we collected diseased samples from a wampee orchard with about 20% disease incidence. The infected fruit initially showed pinpoint spots on the peel, water-soaked lesions, and light to dark brown discoloration. Spots expanded in 2 days, and tissues collapsed after 5 days. Severely affected fruit showed cracking or nonodorous decay. Five diseased samples were collected, and causal agents were isolated from symptomatic tissues 1 cm under the peel after surface sterilization in 0.3% NaOCl for 10 min and rinsing in sterile water three times. Tissues were placed on a Luria Bertani (LB) plate for culture. Ten representative isolates were selected for further characterization. No colony was isolated from healthy tissues. Colonies were round, smooth, with irregular edges, and produced a yellow pigment in culture. Biolog identification (Version 4.20.05) showed that all strains were gram negative, negative for indole production, and utilized glucose, maltose, trehalose, sucrose, D-lactose, and pectin but not sorbitol or gelatin. The isolates were identified as Pantoea agglomerans (SIM 0.69). Multilocus sequence analysis (MLSA) was conducted for rapid classification of the strains. Sequences of atpD, gyrB, infB, and rpoB were amplified using corresponding primers (2). All sequences of the 10 isolates were identical in each gene. BLASTn was performed, and maximum likelihood trees based on the concatenated nucleotide sequences of the four genes were constructed using MEGA6. Bootstrap values after 1,000 replicates were expressed as percentages. Results showed that the tested strain named CL1 was most homologous to P. anthophila, with 98% identity for atpD (KM521543), 100% for gyrB (KM521544), infB (KM521545), and rpoB (KM521546). The 16S rRNA sequence (KM521542) amplified by primers 27f and 1492r shared 99% identity with that of P. anthophila M19_2C (JN644500). P. anthophila was previously reclassified from P. agglomerans (3); therefore, we suggest naming this wampee pathogen P. anthophila. Subsequently, 10 wampee fruits were injected with 20 μl of bacterial suspension (1 × 108 CFU/ml) of strains CL1 and CL2, respectively, and another 10 were injected with 20 μl of LB medium as controls, all kept at 28°C for 4 days. Symptoms similar to those of natural infections were observed on inoculated fruits but not on the negative controls. Bacteria were isolated from diseased tissues and further identified as P. anthophila by gyrB sequencing. P. anthophila was reported to naturally infect balsam and marigold (1,2). Abstract
This study was aimed to investigate the effect of bortezomib combined with bisphosphonates on serum levels of DKK-1 and RANKL in multiple myeloma patients, and to evaluate its role in the therapy of osteolytic lesion. Fourty-three patients with newly diagnosed and relapsed myeloma were divided into 2 groups. Twenty-three patients were treated with bortezomib combined with bisphosphonates (A group) and 20 patients were treated with bisphosphonates combined with traditional chemotherapy (B group). Serum levels of DKK-1 and RANKL were measured by ELISA before and after 4 cycles of chemotherapy. The results indicated that serum DKK-1 level significantly decreased in patients of A group (43.2 µg/L before vs 30.4 µg/L after 4 cycles of chemotherapy), and so did for serum RANKL level in A group (0.83 pmmol/L before vs 0.45 pmmol/L after 4 cycles of chemotherapy). While there was no significant differences in DKK-1 and RANKL serum level before therapy between A and B groups, but there was significant differences in DKK-1 and RANKL levels after 4 cycles of chemotherapy (P < 0.05). It is concluded that bortezomib combined with bisphosphonates obviously reduce the serum levels of DKK-1 and RANKL, thus has beneficial effect on osteolytic lesion.

Abstract
Simplified phosphorescent organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) using only two kinds of hosts and comprising either a neat MoO(x) hole-injecting layer (HIL) or a MoO(x)-doped 4,4'-bis(carbazol-9-yl)biphenyl (CBP) HIL were studied. The devices having the MoO(x)-doped CBP HIL are superior to the device having the neat MoO(x) HIL in terms of power efficiency and operational lifetime. Impedance spectroscopy studies revealed that both the reduced hole-injecting barrier height at the anode/doped HIL interface and the reduced bulk resistivity in the doped CBP HIL contribute to the improvement in electroluminescence characteristics. When increasing the MoO(x) volume percentage from 5 to 10% and then to 20%, the hole-injecting barrier height is decreased from 0.63 eV to 0.36 eV and then to 0.18 eV. The power efficiency of the device with a 20 vol % of MoO(x)-doped CBP HIL is more than two times that of the device with a neat MoO(x) HIL measured at a driven current of 5 mA/cm(2). Moreover, the lifetime of the device with a 20 vol % of MoO(x)-doped CBP HIL is more than three times that of the device with a neat MoO(x) HIL estimated at an initial luminance of 1000 cd/m(2). The MoO(x)-doped HIL further ensures the feasibility of the simplified phosphorescent OLEDs for potential applications.

Abstract
A tandem organic light-emitting diode structure, excited electrically in the pulsed domain and confined within a double spatial filter configuration, is observed to emit a low-divergence beam (deltatheta approximately 2.53 mrad, or approximately 1.1 times the diffraction limit) with a near-Gaussian spatial distribution. The emission originates from the laser dye Coumarin 545 T, which is used as a dopant. Spectral coherence was determined by use of a double-slit interferometer. The interferometric distribution from our device approximates the interferometric pattern obtained from well-known lasers emitting at lambda approximately 540 nm.
