Abstract
To understand the mechanism of the dehydrogenation of methanol to CO and H2 catalyzed by a ruthenium pincer complex, a density functional theory (DFT) study has been conducted on two different cycles which differ in the substances entering the cycle (methanol (cycle 1) versus methoxymethanol (cycle 2)). Our calculated results show that both cycles consist of three stages: dehydrogenation of alcohol to aldehyde (stage I); hydrogen formation (stage II); and decarbonylation with the regeneration of the catalyst (stage III). The energy barriers of the rate-determining steps for cycles 1 and 2 are 49.6 and 28.5 kcal mol-1, respectively. Thus cycle 2 is more energetically feasible. For stage III of cycle 2, our results did not support the mechanism proposed in the experiment (CO release occurs prior to decarbonylation). Instead, we suggested and examined an alternative pathway, that is, decarbonylation occurs prior to CO release. The mechanistic insights gained in the present paper could be beneficial for further designing of these kinds of reactions.

Abstract
Nano-resveratrol liposome (RES-LIP) was prepared by the thin film rotary-evaporated method combined with ultrasonication and characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), zeta potential, dynamic light scattering (DLS), and Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR). The physicochemical stability, in vitro release, antioxidant activity, and cytotoxicity of RES-LIP were studied. Data showed that RES-LIP was a spherical vesicle with a diameter of less than 100 nm, the zeta potential was - 60 mV and the encapsulation efficiency was 86.78%. The physicochemical stability of RES-LIP was determined by Ea, ΔG, ΔH, and ΔS, which suggested that the process of RES-LIP degradation was spontaneous and endothermic. The in vitro release of RES-LIP was pH-dependent, belonged to the Weibull model, and was non-Fick diffusion. The antioxidant activity of RES-LIP was stronger than free resveratrol. The MTT assay and flow cytometry results suggested that resveratrol decreased cytotoxicity after being encapsulated by liposome. The prepared RES-LIP had high encapsulation efficiency, was sustained-release, had low cytotoxicity, was pH-targeted, and had potential usage in food and medicine fields.

Abstract
In this work, nano-levodopa-liposomes (L-dopa-Lip) suspension was prepared by rotary-evaporated film-ultrasonic method, and freeze-drying powders of L-dopa-Lip were also obtained to improve the stability. The products were characterized by TEM, DLS, and TG-DSC, and the phase-transition temperature (Tm) and encapsulation efficiency were calculated. The brain-targeting and in vitro release of the drug was also studied. The results showed that L-dopa-Lip were well-formed spherical vesicles, and the sizes were about 100 nm, and the encapsulation efficiency was higher than 90%. The drug release temperature of L-dopa-Lip was 68 °C, and the in vitro release property and mathematical model were also studied. The brain targeting of L-dopa-Lip in vivo was explored by injecting the gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) labeled L-dopa-Lip (AuNPs-L-dopa-Lip) through the tail vein. ICP-MS and TEM showed that L-dopa-Lip had brain targeting, suggesting the potential treatment of L-dopa-Lip on brain dysfunction. The results of this work might be helpful for designing drug-loaded liposomes for the treatment of central nervous system (CNS) diseases and monitoring their distributions in vivo.

Abstract
Photoelectrochemical sensors have outstanding advantages including high sensitivity and miniaturization for outdoor use. Recently, perovskite quantum dots have attracted significant attention due to their high photoluminescence quantum yield. Nonetheless, there is still a strong need to improve their performance in challenging aqueous biological applications. In this paper, based on the molecularly imprinted polymer encapsulation of CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dot/TiO2 inverse opal heterojunction structures, linear photoelectrochemical detection of cholesterol in aqueous solution was obtained without the involvement of an enzyme. The attenuation of photocurrent intensity under intermittent irradiation within 900 s (45 on/off cycles) was only 8.6%, demonstrating the superior stability of CsPbBr3 based sensor here. At the same time, the minimum detection limit of 1.22 × 10-9 mol L-1 in buffer conditions was lower than that reported for cholesterol photoelectric sensors. It has also been shown that the photoelectrochemical sensor of CsPbBr3 here outperformed that of CH3NH3PbBr3, which is another important member of the perovskite family. Finally, the proposed photoelectrochemical sensor platform was successfully applied in the determination of cholesterol in challenging serum with satisfactory recovery. The synergism among CsPbBr3 perovskite quantum dots, TiO2 inverse opal structure and imprinted polymer has led to greatly improved water stability, super selectivity and sensitivity, thus promoting the development of perovskite-based biological sensors.

Abstract
Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) is a universal method for the quantitative analysis of small molecular drugs in therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM). Alternatively, liquid chromatography-miniature mass spectrometry (LC-Mini MS) is a simple operating technique for quantitative analysis. However, the wide chromatographic peaks and long retention times of TDM samples using the LC-Mini MS system deteriorated the accuracy and efficiency of quantitative analysis. Here, an optimized electrospray ionization (ESI) interface setup with a splitter valve and a capillary needle (I.D. 30 μm and O.D. 150 μm) of the LC-Mini MS system was acquired. The chromatographic peaks were narrower and smoother and the retention time was shorter for TDM compounds. Furthermore, a quantitative analysis method for risperidone and the active metabolite 9-hydroxyrisperidone in plasma was developed based on this optimal LC-Mini MS setup. The results showed that the calibration curves of risperidone and 9-hydroxyrisperidone had good linear ranges of 2-100 ng mL-1 (R2 = 0.9931) and 2-100 ng mL-1 (R2 = 0.9915), respectively. Finally, the matrix effects, recoveries and stability of risperidone and 9-hydroxyrisperidone samples were analyzed. The results satisfied the requirements of quantitative validation in routine TDM procedures.

Abstract
Background To investigate the value of endobronchial ultrasound-guided transbronchial needle aspiration (EBUS-TBNA) in the diagnosis of lung nodules related enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes (MLNs). Methods Clinical data of 108 patients with lung nodules related enlarged MLNs who underwent EBUS-TBNA in our single center were retrospectively analyzed from January 2020 to December 2021. The sensitivity and specificity of EBUS-TBNA in malignancy diagnosis were evaluated. Associations between ultrasonic image measurement indexes and malignancy diagnosis were explored. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve of these indexes, the area under curve (AUC), and the corresponding cut-off values were calculated to predict malignant MLNs. Results Sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of EBUS-TBNA in the diagnosis of lung nodules related malignant MLNs were 89.47%, 100%, and 92.59%, respectively. There were significantly higher proportions of malignant MLNs with clear boundary, short diameter ≥1 cm, lower long to short diameter ratio, abundant flow of blood, and destructed medulla than that of benign ones (P < .05). According to ROC curve analysis, the cut-off value of short diameters for predicting malignant MLNs was 1.085 cm, and the AUC was 0.796 (95% confidence interval: 0.724-0.868, P < .001). Corresponding sensitivity and specificity were 61.36% and 80.00%, respectively. The cut-off value of the long to short diameter ratio for predicting malignancy was 1.405, and the AUC was 0.697 (95% confidence interval: 0.609-0.790, P < .001). Corresponding sensitivity and specificity were 70.00% and 71.97%, respectively. Conclusion EBUS-TBNA has a satisfactory accuracy of lung nodules related MLNs diagnosis. Short diameters and long to short diameter ratio of lung nodules related MLNs in ultrasonic image may contribute to the prediction of malignant lymph nodes.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to retrospectively assess the efficacy and safety of percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for upper urinary stones using upper pole access (UPA) and other (low or middle) pole access (OPA). MATERIALS AND METHODS A comprehensive literature review of articles investigating the clinical efficacy and safety of UPA and OPA was performed. The relevant literature was obtained from PubMed, EMBASE, Science Direct, Google Scholar and the Cochrane Library. The primary outcomes, including the stone-free rate, were evaluated using Review Manager 5.4 software. The secondary outcomes (peri- and postoperative complications and operative date) were also compared and analyzed. RESULTS Ten comparative studies involving 5,290 patients were included in the analysis. The pooled data showed that the UPA group had a stone-free rate (SFR) similar to that of the OPA group [odds ratio (OR) 1.38, 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.94 to 2.03; p=0.22] but a higher incidence of blood transfusion [OR: 1.50; 95% CI: (1.03, 2.19), p=0.04]. There was no statistically significant difference in operative time [mean difference (MD): -7.27; 95% CI: (-25.18, 10.65), p=0.43] or hospital stay [MD: -0.13; 95% CI: (-0.64, 0.37), p=0.60] between the two groups. In addition, the results support that UPA causes fewer complications than OPA. CONCLUSIONS Our findings suggest that UPA and OPA are both effective treatments for the management of upper urinary stones. Compared to OPA, UPA is associated with less need for blood transfusion and fewer complications. Nevertheless, the findings should be further confirmed by well-designed prospective randomized controlled trials (RCTs) with large samples and strict standards.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES This study aimed to identify the related risk factors and potential predictors of SARS-CoV-2 RNA negative conversion by describing the dynamics of viral shedding in infected children admitted to two hospitals from Shanghai during the Omicron variant outbreak. METHODS This retrospective cohort included laboratory-confirmed cases of SARS-CoV-2 infection from Shanghai between March 28 and May 31, 2022. Clinical characteristics, personal vaccination, and household vaccination rates were collected through electronic health records and telephone interviews. RESULTS A total of 603 paediatric patients confirmed to have COVID-19 were included in this study. Both univariate and multivariate analyses were performed to filter independent factors for the duration to viral RNA negative conversion. Data on the redetection of SARS-CoV-2 in the patients after they showed negative results on the RT‒PCR test (intermittent negative status) were also analysed. The median duration of virus shedding was 12 (interquartile range, IQR: 10-14) days. The severity of clinical outcome, personal vaccination-2doses, household vaccination rates, and abnormal defecation were factors indecently affecting negative conversion of SARS-CoV-2 RNA, suggesting that patients who had abnormal defecation or with more severe conditions would have delayed virological clearance, while patients who previously had 2 doses of vaccination or had higher household vaccination rates would have accelerated virological clearance. Loss of appetite (odds ratio (OR): 5.343; 95% CI: 3.307-8.632) and abnormal defecation (OR: 2.840; 95% CI: 1.736-4.645) were significantly associated with intermittent negative status. CONCLUSION These findings could provide clues for the early identification of paediatric patients with prolonged viral shedding and could enrich the evidence for the development of prevention and control strategies, especially vaccination policies for children and adolescents.

Abstract
Carbon dots (CDs) have excellent fluorescence properties and can be used in many research fields. In this paper, carbon dots were prepared by microwave-assisted pyrolysis of citric acid and urea, characterized by transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), 13C-NMR spectrum, zeta potential, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) absorption and fluorescence spectra, and detected the Hg2+ and ascorbic acid (AA) sequentially. It showed that carbon dots were hollow, spherical particles and less than 10 nm, photoluminescence quantum yield of carbon dots was about 15%. The CDs were selective and sensitive to Hg2+ and AA based on the "on-off-on" fluorescence behavior. The detection limits of CDs for Hg2+ and AA were 0.138 μM and 0.212 μM, respectively. Fluorescence response mechanism of CDs was also discussed.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the mechanism by which fibroblasts with high WNT2b expression causes intestinal mucosa barrier disruption and promote the progression of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). METHODS Caco-2 cells were treated with 20% fibroblast conditioned medium or co-cultured with fibroblasts highly expressing WNT2b, with the cells without treatment with the conditioned medium and cells co-cultured with wild-type fibroblasts as the control groups. The changes in barrier permeability of Caco-2 cells were assessed by measuring transmembrane resistance and Lucifer Yellow permeability. In Caco-2 cells co-cultured with WNT2b-overexpressing or control intestinal fibroblasts, nuclear entry of β-catenin was detected with immunofluorescence assay, and the expressions of tight junction proteins ZO-1 and E-cadherin were detected with Western blotting. In a C57 mouse model of dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced IBD-like enteritis, the therapeutic effect of intraperitoneal injection of salinomycin (5 mg/kg, an inhibitor of WNT/β-catenin signaling pathway) was evaluated by observing the changes in intestinal inflammation and detecting the expressions of tight junction proteins. RESULTS In the coculture system, WNT2b overexpression in the fibroblasts significantly promoted nuclear entry of β-catenin (P < 0.01) and decreased the expressions of tight junction proteins in Caco-2 cells; knockdown of FZD4 expression in Caco-2 cells obviously reversed this effect. In DSS-treated mice, salinomycin treatment significantly reduced intestinal inflammation and increased the expressions of tight junction proteins in the intestinal mucosa. CONCLUSION Intestinal fibroblasts overexpressing WNT2b causes impairment of intestinal mucosal barrier function and can be a potential target for treatment of IBD.

Abstract
Background Chronic intermittent hypoxia (CIH) could cause neuronal damage, accelerating the progression of dementia. However, safe and effective therapeutic drugs and delivery are needed for successful CIH therapy. Purpose To investigate the neuroprotective effect of Huperzine A (HuA) packaged with nanoliposomes (HuA-LIP) on neuronal damage induced by CIH. Methods The stability and release of HuA-LIP in vitro were identified. Mice were randomly divided into the Control, CIH, HuA-LIP, and HuA groups. The mice in the HuA and HuA-LIP groups received HuA (0.1 mg/kg, i.p.), and HuA-LIP was administered during CIH exposure for 21 days. HuA-LIP contains the equivalent content of HuA. Results We prepared a novel formulation of HuA-LIP that had good stability and controlled release. First, HuA-LIP significantly ameliorated cognitive dysfunction and neuronal damage in CIH mice. Second, HuA-LIP elevated T-SOD and GSH-Px abilities and decreased MDA content to resist oxidative stress damage induced by CIH. Furthermore, HuA-LIP reduced brain iron levels by downregulating TfR1, hepcidin, and FTL expression. In addition, HuA-LIP activated the PKAα/Erk/CREB/BDNF signaling pathway and elevated MAP2, PSD95, and synaptophysin to improve synaptic plasticity. Most importantly, compared with HuA, HuA-LIP showed a superior performance against neuronal damage induced by CIH. Conclusion HuA-LIP has a good sustained-release effect and targeting ability and efficiently protects against neural injury caused by CIH.

Abstract
Recently, carbon dots (CDs) have exhibited promising applications in the fluorescence detection of various ions and biomolecules. In this work, one kind of nitrogen-doped CDs (N-CDs) with high fluorescence intensity was synthesized, characterized by transmission electron microscopy, x-ray diffraction, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier-transform infrared, UV-vis absorption spectra, and fluorescence spectra. The results show that the spherical and uniform N-CDs (quantum yield: 60.2%) have remarkable fluorescence properties and photostability, which makes N-CDs can be utilized as an 'on-off-on' sensor for Hg2+and glutathione (GSH). In addition, the pH-sensitive behavior of N-CDs makes it also applicable to H+detection under acid conditions (pKa = 3.53). The linear range of the 'turn-off' sensor detecting Hg2+was 0.014-50μM, with a 0.014μM limit of detection (LOD). GSH was detected by the fluorescence 'turn-on' method with a linear range of 0.125-60μM and a LOD of 0.125μM. The outstanding performance of N-CDs makes it potential applications in ecological pollution and biomolecule visualization monitoring.

Abstract
Background and Objective: Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is the most common subtype of lung cancer and has a poor prognosis. Interleukin-2 (IL2) is a cytokine that stimulates lymphocyte proliferation. However, its role in LUAD remains unclear. Methods: The UALCAN, human protein atlas (HPA), and tumor immune estimation resource (TIMER) databases were used to investigate IL2 expression in samples from patients with LUAD. The HPA, PrognoScan, and Kaplan-Meier plotter databases were used to examine the prognostic value of IL2 in LUAD. Gene Ontology and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes pathway analyses were performed to analyze IL2-interacting genes identified through the GeneMANIA database. TIMER was used to analyze the correlation of IL2 expression with immune cell infiltration and immune checkpoint expression levels in LUAD. Results: Bioinformatic analysis using the TIMER, The University of Alabama at Birmingham Cancer data analysis Portal (UALCAN), and HPA public databases showed that IL2 expression was lower in patients with LUAD than in the normal control group. Moreover, patients with low IL2 expression exhibited poor overall survival. Furthermore, IL2 expression was significantly positively correlated with various immune cells, including B cells, CD8+ T cells, CD4+ T cells, macrophages, neutrophils, and dendritic cells, in patients with LUAD. Additionally, IL2 expression was markedly positively associated with the above-mentioned immune cells. Furthermore, IL2 expression was positively correlated with PD-1, PD-L1, and CTLA-4 expression. Conclusion: Our results indicate that down-regulation of IL2 predicts poor prognosis and is associated with immune escape in LUAD, and IL2 could serve as a potential novel prognostic biomarker of LUAD.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the value of a nomogram based on clinical data and enhanced CT radiomics in the prediction of Epstein-Barr virus-associated gastric carcinoma(EBVaGC). Methods: The data of 136 patients, including 100 males and 36 females, aged [M (Q1, Q3)] 65 (53, 71) years, with gastric cancer confirmed by surgery and pathology were retrospectively analyzed. According to Epstein-Barr virus-encoded small RNA (EBER) in situ hybridization, those patients were divided into Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) positive group (n=32) and EBV negative group (n=104). All patients underwent multi-phase enhanced CT scanning before surgery and randomly assigned to the training group (n=95) and validation group (n=41) in a ratio of 7︰3. MaZda software was used to extract radiomics features of enhanced CT images. The intra-group correlation coefficient (ICC), variance analysis and minimum absolute shrinkage and selection algorithm (LASSO) regression were used to reduce the dimensionality of the radiomics features, and then the radiomics score (Radscore) was calculated. The nomogram model was based on combined clinical data, morphological features and Radscore. The predictive power of the nomogram was evaluated according to the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC), and the net clinical benefit of the nomogram was evaluated by the decision curve and calibration curves were drawn according to the data of the training group and the validation group to analyze the consistency of the nomogram model. Results: After selection, six optimal radiomics features were obtained, including Mean, Skewness, S(1, 0) Sum entropy, S(1, 1) Contrast, 99% percentile and S(2, 2)Angular second moment. Radscore of EBV positive group were higher than that of the EBV negative group (training group: 3.78±0.83 vs 2.80±0.98; validation group: 3.81±0.47 vs 2.94±0.95) (both P<0.05) both in the training group and validation group. The AUC of the radiomics model in training group and validation group were 0.773(95%CI:0.612-0.962)and 0.792(95%CI:0.597-0.927)respectively,and the sensitivity and specificity were 63.6% and 93.1%, 70.0% and 87.1%, respectively. The AUC of the nomogram model based on clinical data and radiomics in the training group and the validation group were 0.883(95%CI:0.644-0.984) and 0.851(95%CI:0.715-0.996), respectively. The nomogram model showed superior predictive performance (both P<0.05). Conclusion: The nomogram model based on clinical data and radiomics has better efficacy in the prediction of Epstein-Barr virus associated gastric cancer.

Abstract
Simple Summary The rapid and sustained growth rate of global aquaculture has forced the aquaculture industry to explore alternative and more sustainable feed ingredients. Plant protein ingredients are promising substitutions for fish meal in the aquaculture industry. The current study aimed to investigate the potential influence of replacing poultry by-product meal protein with conventional cottonseed meal protein (CCMP) or low-gossypol cottonseed meal protein (LGCMP) on growth, feed utilization, gut micromorphology, and immunity of hybrid grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus♀× Epinephelus lanceolatus♂) juveniles fed low fish-meal (18.53%, dry matter) diets. Results demonstrated that, without any reduction in fish performance, 80% dietary PBMP could be replaced by CCMP, while this replacement level was 40% for LGCMP. Survival remained unaffected in all dietary treatments, and no fish mortality was observed during the growth trial. These results suggest that cottonseed meal could be a suitable alternative protein source for hybrid grouper farming. Abstract A 9-week growth trial was carried out to assess the influence of replacing poultry by-product meal protein with conventional cottonseed meal protein (CCMP) or low gossypol cottonseed meal protein (LGCMP) on growth, feed utilization, gut micromorphology, and immunity of hybrid grouper (Epinephelus fuscoguttatus♀× Epinephelus lanceolatus♂) juveniles fed low-fish meal (18.53%, dry matter) diets. Eleven experimental diets were prepared. The control diet (PBMP) contained 46.15% poultry by-product meal protein. Both conventional cottonseed meal protein (CCMP) and low-gossypol cottonseed meal protein (LGCMP) were used in replacement ratios of 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100% of poultry by-product meal protein (PBMP) from the control diet, forming ten experimental diets (CCMP20, CCMP40, CCMP60, CCMP80, CCMP100, LGCMP20, LGCMP40, LGCMP60, LGCMP80, and LGCMP100). Results demonstrated that weight-gain percentage (WG%) was not different between different sources of cottonseed meal (CCMP and LGCMP). However, values of WG% significantly differed among different replacement levels, with CCMP80 and LGCMP40 having significantly higher values compared to other treatments. Fish fed CCMP80 and LGCMP40 exhibited higher protein efficiency ratios (PERs) than fish fed other experimental diets. The regression analysis from a second-order or third-order polynomial model based on WG% showed that the optimal PBMP replacement levels by CCMP and LGCMP are 74% and 33%, respectively. The whole-body lipid contents remarkably decreased as dietary CCMP or LGCMP inclusion levels increased. The relative mRNA expression of insulin-like growth factor-1(IGF-1) in liver was higher in fish fed CCMP80 and LGCMP40 diets compared to fish fed other diets. Generally, in low-FM diets of hybrid grouper, CCMP and LGCMP could replace 74% and 33% of PBMP, respectively.

Abstract
Aptamers have gained significant attention as the molecular recognition element to replace antibodies in sensor development and target delivery. Nevertheless, it is noteworthy that unlike the wide application of polyvalent antibodies, existing researches on the combined use of heterologous aptamers with similar recognition affinity and specificity for target detection were sporadic. Herein, first, the wide existence of polyaptamer for bacteria was revealed through the summary of existing literature. Furthermore, based on the establishment of a sensitive aptamer cocktail/graphene oxide fluorescence resonance energy transfer polyaptasensor with a detection limit as low as 10 CFU/ml, the systemic characterization of aptamer cocktails in bacterial detection was carried out by taking E. coli, Vi. parahemolyticus, S. typhimurium, and C. sakazakii as the assay targets. It was turned out that the polyaptasensors for C. sakazakii and S. typhimurium owned prevalence in the broader concentration range of target bacteria. While the polyaptasensors for E. coli and V. parahemolyticus outperformed monoaptasensor mainly in the lower concentration of target bacteria. The linear relationships between fluorescence recovery and the concentration of bacteria were also discussed. The different characteristics of the bacterial cellular membrane, including the binding affinity and the robustness to variation, are analyzed to be the main reason for the diverse detection performance of aptasensors. The study here enhances a sensor detection strategy with super sensitivity. More importantly, this systemic study on the aptamer cocktail in reference to antibodies will advance the in-depth understanding and rational design of aptamer based biological recognition, detection, and targeting.

Abstract
An 8-week feeding trial was conducted to evaluate optimum dietary methionine (Met) requirement of juvenile humpback grouper (Cromileptes altivelis) and the influence of dietary methionine (Met) supplementations on growth, gut micromorphology, protein and lipid metabolism. Seven isoproteic (48.91%) and isolipidic diets (10%) were made to contain 0.70, 0.88, 1.04, 1.27 1.46, 1.61 and 1.76% of dry matter Met levels. Results showed that lower survival, weight gain (WG%), protein efficiency ratio (PER), protein productive value (PPV) but higher daily feed intake (DFI) and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were observed in the Met deficient groups (0.70 and 0.88%). Optimum dietary Met requirement for humpback grouper was found to be 1.07% through the straight-broken line analysis of WG% against Met. Fish fed Met deficient diets (0.70, 0.88%) exhibited lower mRNA levels of growth hormone (GH), growth hormone receptor (GHR), insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-1), target of rapamycin (TOR) as well as S6 kinase 1 (S6K1) than other dietary groups. Whereas, expression of genes related to general control nonderepressible (GCN2) kinase i.e., GCN2 and C/EBPβ enhancer-binding protein β was upregulated in fish fed low Met diets (P < 0.05). The mRNA expression of hepatic fatty acid synthase (FAS) and sterol regulatory element-binding protein-1 (SREBP-1) were higher in fish fed 0.70 and 0.88% dietary Met group and the lipolytic genes, hepatic peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα) and carnitine palmitoyl transferase-1 (CPT-1) showed an opposite variation tendency as FAS or SREBP1. Generally, the optimum Met requirement for humpback grouper was predicted to be 1.07% of dry matter.

Abstract
The carnivorous teleost fish is often intolerant to high levels of postprandial plasma glucose. This study aimed to evaluate the effects of insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) and growth hormone (GH) administrations on plasma glucose levels and expression of glucose transporters (GLUTs) in various tissues of hybrid grouper, and hence to further clarify the hormone-GLUTs-plasma glucose regulating axis. Twenty-four experimental fish (average body weight: 77.5 ± 5.4 g) were selected and injected with recombinant human IGF-1 (0.2 μg/g body weight) and PBS (0.01 mol/L) in enterocoelia, respectively, and in the GH injected experiment, the same quantity of fish (average body weight: 103.8 ± 5.8 g) were administrated with GH at a dose of 0.5 μg/g body weight or with PBS at a dose of 0.01 mol/L. Results showed that plasma glucose level was significantly (P < 0.05) declined by the IGF-1 administration but elevated by the GH administration. Plasma IGF-1 concentration was significantly (P < 0.01) elevated by the IGF-1 administration, while GH concentration did not significantly (P ≥ 0.05) respond to the GH administration. The relative mRNA levels of insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor a (IGF-Ra) in liver and muscle were decreased significantly with the IGF-1 administration, and a similar variation tendency was also found in insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor b (IGF-Rb) in liver, muscle and adipose tissues. Besides, the relative mRNA level of insulin receptor (IRS) in liver was significantly increased in the IGF-1 administrated group. After the GH administration, the mRNA levels of hepatic growth factor receptor 2 (GHR2) and IGF-1 were significantly elevated. As for GLUTs, the relative mRNA levels of GLUT1 and GLUT2 in liver were obviously elevated by the IGF-1 administration, while the mRNA level of GLUT4 in muscle was reduced. In liver, the protein levels of GLUT1, 2 and 4 were significantly elevated by the IGF-1 administration, and in adipose, only GLUT1 was observed to have a significantly increased protein level. The mRNA expression of GLUTs was less affected by the GH administration. The protein level of GLUT1 in liver was significantly reduced by the GH administration, while in adipose, it was significantly increased. The protein level of GLUT2 in liver or adipose showed an opposite variation as that of GLUT1. Overall, IGF-1 had a hypoglycemic effect on hybrid grouper, and this probably was through up-regulating the protein levels of hepatic GLUT1, 2 and 4 and adipose GLUT1. GH showed an opposite role in regulating plasma glucose level as IGF-1.

Abstract
Background Allergic rhinitis (AR) is characterized by type I hypersensitivity that is mediated by IgE-induced humoral responses. Follicular helper T cells (Tfh) comprise the key helper T cell (Th) subset that promotes antibody production. Signaling lymphocytic activation molecules (SLAMs) participate in regulation of the differentiation and function of Tfh cells, but whether this regulation is involved in the pathogenesis of AR is unknown. Methods CD4+CXCR5+ Tfh-like cells from peripheral blood were detected by flow cytometry. The IL-21 and IgE levels in serum were measured by an ELISA. Blood CD4+CXCR5+ Tfh-like cells were sorted and cultured with anti-SLAM mAb in vitro. Results The frequencies of circulating CD4+CXCR5+ Tfh-like cells appeared virtually unchanged in AR patients, but the expression of SLAMs and SLAM-associated protein (SAP) on circulating Tfh-like cells was significantly decreased. Meanwhile, the level of serum IL-21 was increased in AR patients, and a negative correlation was found between the IL-21 level and SLAM or SAP expression on CD4+CXCR5+ T cells. Treatment with anti-SLAM mAb resulted in reduced IL-21 production by Tfh-like cells in vitro. Additionally, SLAM expression on B cells was significantly decreased, although the percentages of B cells were increased in AR patients. Conclusion SLAMs negatively regulate IL-21 production in CD4+CXCR5+ Tfh-like cells, which contributes to the pathogenesis of AR.

Abstract
Chiral metal-organic cages (MOCs) are a new type of porous materials with unique molecular recognition ability, which have received research attention as a chiral stationary phase (CSP) for gas chromatography (GC). Herein, we report the detailed investigation of a chiral MOC ([Cu12(LPA)12(H2O)12], PA = L-phenylalanine, MOC-PA) as a novel stationary phase for GC separations. The MOC-PA capillary column exhibited a high-resolution performance for a wide range of analytes, including n-alkanes, n-alcohols, esters, aromatic compounds and the Grob mixture, positional isomers and racemates. In particular, MOC-PA coated column displayed good resolution and performance for amino acid derivatives. Moreover, the MOC-PA column showed excellent separation repeatability and reproducibility. The relative standard deviation (RSD) values for the retention times were in the range of 0.16-0.30% for run to run (n = 3), 0.31-0.77% for day-to-day (n = 3), and 3.6-4.7% for column-to-column (n = 3), respectively. The experimental results showed that MOC-PA had great potential as a GC stationary phase.

Abstract
This meta-analysis was intended to evaluate the effects of intrauterine perfusion of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) on the pregnancy outcomes including clinical pregnancy rates, embryo implantation rates, live birth rates and miscarriage rates of infertile women who were undergoing in vitro fertilisation (IVF) treatment. By searching Pubmed, Embase database, five articles meeting the inclusion criteria were included, and 1173 women were enrolled (intrauterine PBMC group: n = 514; NO-PBMC group: n = 659). For the entire IVF/ICSI population and one or two embryo transfer failure patients, there was no significant difference in endometrial thickness, embryo implantation rates, live birth rates, and miscarriage rates between the PBMC group and NO-PBMC group. Although the clinical pregnancy rates of the PBMC group were higher than that of the NO-PBMC group, the confidence interval was close to the line of unity. As for the patients with three or more implantation failures, the clinical pregnancy rates, embryo implantation rates and live birth rates were much higher in the PBMC group than that of the NO-PBMC group. In summary, current evidence suggests that intrauterine perfusion of PBMC can significantly improve pregnancy outcomes in patients who have three or more implantation failures.Impact statementWhat is already known on this subject? An increasing number of studies have shown that immune cells play an important role in embryo transfer. There is no reliable evidence to confirm the clinical efficacy of intrauterine perfusion of PBMC.What do the results of this study add? The current evidence suggests that intrauterine perfusion of PBMC can significantly improve pregnancy outcomes in patients who have three or more implantation failures.What are the implications of these findings for clinical practice and/or further research? To the best of our knowledge, this meta-analysis is the first to evaluate the effect of intrauterine perfusion of PBMC on pregnancy outcomes before embryo transfer. Our study indicated that intrauterine perfusion of PBMC significantly increased clinical pregnancy rates, embryo implantation rates, and live birth rates in patients who failed more than three implants.

Abstract
Objective:To evaluate changes of postoperative thyroid-stimulating hormone(TSH) and total cholesterol(TC) levels in serum, and to analyze the risk of hypercholesterolemia in female patients with differentiated thyroid cancer(DTC) receiving levothyroxine after total thyroidectomy. Method:Female patients with DTC in the first affiliated hospital of hebei north university, who underwent total thyroidectomy, were analyzed retrospectively. All patients were divided into four groups according to follow-up TSH levels:<0.03 mIU/L, 0.03-0.29 mIU/L, 0.30-4.20 mIU/L and>4.20 mIU/L. Changes in TC levels before and after surgery were compared and the occurrence of hypercholesterolemia was analyzed. Result:The lower postoperative TSH level groups had higher preoperative TC levels than the higher TSH level groups. Compared with preoperative level, the TC levels remained unchanged in 0.03-0.29 mIU/L group, but decreased in <0.03 mIU/L group, and markedly increased in greater than 0.3 mIU/Lgroups with TSH levels after surgery. The preoperative-to-follow-up change in TC levels had positive correlation with follow-up TSH level. Compared with those with TSH levels of 0.03-0.29 mIU/L, the risk of TC marginal elevation and hypercholesterolemia in the patients with TSH of 0.30-4.20 mIU/L was found to be 1.16 times and 1.91 times higher, respectively. For patients with TSH levels of >4.2 mIU/L, the risk of TC marginal elevation and hypercholesterolemia was 1.29 times and 3 times, respectively. The increase in TSH was consistent with the increase in the incidence of hypercholesterolemia (P for trend=0.003). Conclusion:Women with DTC who are using levothyroxine to maintain TSH after surgery should be aware of the risk of hypercholesterolemia due to inadequate replacement.

Abstract
Background At present, there is no ideal conventional triple regimen that can effectively treat gastrointestinal (GI) complications in patients after kidney transplantation. We aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of a quadruple regimen including standard-dose tacrolimus, low-dose enteric-coated mycophenolate sodium (EC-MPS), low-dose mizoribine (MZR), and corticosteroids, compared with regimens containing standard-dose tacrolimus, corticosteroids, plus either low-dose EC-MPS or standard-dose MZR in patients with mycophenolic acid (MPA)-related GI complications after renal transplantation. Material/Methods Between August 2016 and October 2018 in Qilu Hospital of Shandong University, 115 living donor kidney transplant recipients with MPA-related GI complications were enlisted in a single-center, prospective, randomized, control study. Thirty-six recipients were assigned to the low-dose EC-MPS plus low-dose MZR group, 37 recipients were assigned to the low-dose EC-MPS group, and 39 recipients were assigned to the standard-dose MZR group. We analyzed the Gastrointestinal Symptom Rating Scale (GSRS), estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), graft rejection, serum creatinine, human leukocyte antigen (HLA) antibody, and the occurrence of adverse events among the 3 groups. Results Compared with baseline, gastrointestinal symptoms improved significantly in all 3 groups. The reduction in mean subscale scores from baseline to month 3 was more significant in the standard-dose MZR group compared with the other 2 groups. The low-dose EC-MPS plus low-dose MZR group had better renal function. The incidence of graft rejection and cytomegalovirus (CMV) and polyomavirus BK (BKV) infection, as well as the incidence of hyperuricemia, in the low-dose EC-MPS plus low-dose MZR group were all significantly reduced. Conclusions This quadruple regimen may be equivalent to regimens containing standard-dose tacrolimus, corticosteroids plus either low-dose EC-MPS or standard-dose MZR in improving GI symptoms after kidney transplant, and is also advantageous for kidney function, graft rejection, and the rates of adverse events.

Abstract
目的 探讨血液病合并毛霉菌病患者的临床特征、诊治与转归,提高对该病的认识。 方法 回顾性分析2012年9月至2018年9月7例血液病合并毛霉菌病患者的临床资料,分析其临床特征、治疗过程和转归。 结果 7例血液病合并毛霉菌病患者中,男4例,女3例,中位年龄36(19~79)岁。基础疾病:急性髓系白血病2例,急性B淋巴细胞白血病、外周T细胞淋巴瘤、慢性髓性白血病急髓变、骨髓增殖性肿瘤及重型再生障碍性贫血(移植后)各1例。毛霉菌病临床类型:4例为肺型,1例为鼻眶脑型,1例为皮肤型,1例为播散型。7例患者均通过活检组织病理确诊。治疗药物为两性霉素B、两性霉素B脂质体及泊沙康唑。手术治疗4例,其中3例术中彻底清除病变组织,1例仅行局限性清除。治愈2例,好转1例,死亡4例。 结论 血液病合并毛霉菌病患者临床表现及影像学表现多样,死亡率高,确诊主要依赖于组织病理学。早期诊断、控制基础疾病、改善免疫抑制状态、尽早行有效的抗真菌药物治疗及彻底的手术清创治疗是提高血液病合并毛霉菌病患者生存率的关键。

Abstract
Ferric citrate liposome (FAC-Lip) with good sustained-released property was prepared by the rotary-evaporated film-ultrasonic method, and characterized by TEM, DLS, zeta potential and encapsulation efficiency (EE%). The effects of membrane material ratios (mPC: mchol = 8:1, 10:1 and 12:1) and drug lipid ratios (mFAC: mPC = 1:4, 1:6.5 and 1:8) on the release of FAC-Lip were examined. The in vitro release kinetic models and mechanisms of FAC-Lip in artificial gastric juice (SGF) and artificial intestinal juice (SIF) compared with free-FAC were determined. The thermal degradation in PBS was also determined. The results showed that FAC-Lip with membrane material ratio (10:1) and drug lipid ratio (1:6.5) had the optimal sustained-released property, unilamellar vesicles with uniform size (178 ± 2.12 nm), negative charge (-56 ± 3.51 mV) and high encapsulation efficiency (72.77 ± 0.42%). The in vitro release kinetic models of FAC-Lip were two-phase kinetics model and the release mechanisms were non-Fick diffusion both in SGF and SIF. The thermal degradation of FAC-Lip was an endothermic and spontaneous reaction. The results may be helpful in optimizing drug-liposome design, application in food and medicine industries, and furthermore, predicting and guiding medication in vivo.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS Whether fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) vascular hyperintensities (FVH)-DWI mismatch could predict the outcome or not remains in debate. The aim of this study was to identify if FVH combined with the other markers improved favorable outcome prediction of acute infarctions in patients with unilateral acute internal carotid artery (ICA) occlusion. METHODS Consecutive 68 adult acute middle cerebral artery (MCA) territory infarction patients caused by acute ICA occlusion, including favorable (n = 38, mRS ≤ 2) and unfavorable (n = 30, mRS > 2) groups, were enrolled in this retrospective analysis. The diagnostic efficiency of favorable clinical outcome of FVH-DWI mismatch was compared with those of DWI lesions volumetry and the combined marker of FVH-DWI mismatch and other factors. RESULTS There were more prominent FVH-DWI mismatch (≥ 3 sections) (84%), less atrial fibrillation (AFib) (13%), and more tandem MCA normal or mild stenosis (63%) in favorable outcome group than those (30%, 40%, and 27%, respectively) in unfavorable group. Univariate and multivariate analyses showed that the prominent FVH-DWI mismatch was the positive predictive factor for favorable outcome (OR = 2.643 and 3.200). Prominent FVH-DWI mismatch, in combination with tandem MCA normal or mild stenosis, and absence of Afib, had better performance (AUC = 0.875) than that of initial DWI lesion volumetry (AUC = 0.854) and any other single factor (AUC = 0.634~0.820) in predicting favorable outcome. CONCLUSIONS Prominent FVH-DWI mismatch was associated with favorable outcome in acute infarctions in unilateral ICA occlusion patients. Its predictive performance would be improved when combined with the assessment of tandem lesions of MCA and AFib.

Abstract
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are hemispherical vesicles that have a lipid bilayer. Studies have shown that EVs have important biological functions. The amount, types, and compositional changes of proteins, lipids and ribonucleic acids are closely related to diseases. The separation and capture of EVs from the complicated body fluid samples is a prerequisite for medical research and liquid biopsy based on EVs. However, presently the majority of EVs separation and capture still use the traditional separation methods with low purity and low efficiency. Therefore, efficient and highly selective EVs separation method is in urgent need. To meet this challenge, advanced microfluidic chip technology, which has the advantages of miniaturization, integration, and automation, can be utilized. The development of EV separation technology combined with microfluidic chips has become the focus of research. This paper summarizes the latest research progress in this area.

Abstract
Hollow carbon dots (HCDs), as drug carriers, and doxorubicin (DOX), as a model drug, were selected to prepare a HCDs-DOX-loading system. First, HCDs were prepared by a hydrothermal method and characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), and nuclear magnetic resonance (13C NMR), UV-vis absorption, Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopies (XPS). The HCDs were then used to load DOX. The drug-loading system of HCDs-DOX was characterized by zeta potential measurements, and UV-vis absorption and fluorescence spectroscopies. We then studied the drug loading, formation mechanism, cytotoxicity, in vitro release and pH-targeted properties. HCDs-DOX was found to have a high drug (DOX)-loading ratio (∼42.9%) and better sustained pH targeted-release and lower cytotoxicity than those of DOX. In the HCDs-DOX system, interactions between the HCDs and DOX were electrostatic resulting in the formation of -N[double bond, length as m-dash]C-via the coupling of -NH2 (on HCDs) and -C[double bond, length as m-dash]O (on DOX). In vitro release of HCDs-DOX conformed to the Weibull model and Fick diffusion, consistent with that of free DOX. We report, for the first time, that the: (i) functional groups on the HCD surfaces (not their hollow structure) play a key role in drug loading; (ii) the carrier (HCDs) did not change the in vitro release model or mechanism of DOX before and after loading by the HCDs.

Abstract
Rapid screening of active compounds plays a crucial role in the research and application of complex natural medicines. Herein, a new method of simultaneous label-free multi-drug screening based on a selective aptamer-carboxyfluorescein/graphene oxide energy transfer optical sensor combined with microfluidic chip electrophoretic separation is reported. In this study, seven traditional Chinese medicinal monomers were chosen as targets for the screening of G-quadruplex ligands. The screening results of the G-quadruplex active ligands, including daidzein, berberine hydrochloride, jatrorrhizine hydrochloride, and fangchinoline, and non-active ligands, including geniposide and oxymatrine, were consistent with those reported in literature. Moreover, one new potential G4DNA active drug, jujuboside A, was identified. Molecular simulation of the interaction between G4DNA and drugs was also carried out using HyperChem and AutoDock to verify the results of the experimental screening. It further demonstrated the reliability of our strategy. This novel separation and concentration based multi-sensing strategy provides a simple, rapid, and sensitive tool for simultaneous multi-drug screening, which is very meaningful for drug screening and bio-interaction analysis.

Abstract
Although a flow cytometer, being one of the most popular research and clinical tools for biomedicine, can analyze cells based on the cell size, internal structures such as granularity, and molecular markers, it provides little information about the physical properties of cells such as cell stiffness and physical interactions between the cell membrane and fluid. In this paper, we propose a computational cell analysis technique using cells' different equilibrium positions in a laminar flow. This method utilizes a spatial coding technique to acquire the spatial position of the cell in a microfluidic channel and then uses mathematical algorithms to calculate the ratio of cell mixtures. Most uniquely, the invented computational cell analysis technique can unequivocally detect the subpopulation of each cell type without labeling even when the cell type shows a substantial overlap in the distribution plot with other cell types, a scenario limiting the use of conventional flow cytometers and machine learning techniques. To prove this concept, we have applied the computation method to distinguish live and fixed cancer cells without labeling, count neutrophils from human blood, and distinguish drug treated cells from untreated cells. Our work paves the way for using computation algorithms and fluidic dynamic properties for cell classification, a label-free method that can potentially classify over 200 types of human cells. Being a highly cost-effective cell analysis method complementary to flow cytometers, our method can offer orthogonal tests in companion with flow cytometers to provide crucial information for biomedical samples.

Abstract
In order to discover new drug delivery approaches and to understand the mechanism of iron overload in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R), we aimed to investigate the effects of lycopene (LYC) in the form of nano-liposomes (L-LYC) on iron-regulating proteins and ischemic brain injury. We found that L-LYC significantly increased the LYC content in serum and the brain. Adult male Sprague-Dawley rats treated with L-LYC for 14 days were subjected to 60 min of ischemia and 7 days of reperfusion. The effects of L-LYC were evaluated by infarction volume, neurological score, neuronal apoptosis, and markers for oxidative stress. Levels of iron-regulating protein such as hepcidin and ferroportin (FPN1) were examined. L-LYC reduced cerebral infarction and improved neurobehavior of the rats more efficiently than "naked" LYC. L-LYC reduced protein levels of oxidases (e.g. nitric oxide synthase and NOX2), increased the level of Bcl-2, lowered caspase-3, and suppressed apoptosis through inhibiting MAPK-JNK. Furthermore, L-LYC suppressed hepcidin-mediated decrease in FPN1, a sole iron exporter, and normalized the levels of iron. We further demonstrated that the effect of L-LYC on hepcidin expression might result from its ability to attenuate the release of the inflammatory factor interleukin 6. The results demonstrated that nano-liposomal encapsulation significantly improved LYC efficacy in providing neuronal protection against I/R injury. The data also revealed a novel mechanism of L-LYC's neuroprotection by regulating iron metabolism in an ischemic brain.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the role of cortistatin (CST) on cyclosporine A (CsA)-induced myocardial apoptosis in rats and determine its effect on the expressions of myocardial apoptosis genes. MATERIALS AND METHODS H9C2 cells were treated with different concentrations of CsA solution (0.04, 0.2, 1 and 5 μM) for 24, 48 and 72 h, respectively. The cell viability was detected via methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) assay, and the appropriate dose and time were compared and determined. At the same time, CST in different concentrations (0.08, 0.04, 0.2, 1, 5 and 25 μM) was added into cell culture, and the appropriate dose was identified using MTT assay. The cellular morphology in each group was observed, and terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) staining was performed for the detection of cell apoptosis. Moreover, in molecular mechanism research, the apoptosis-associated factors, factor associated suicide (Fas), Fas ligand (FasL) and B-cell lymphoma-2-associated X protein (Bax), were detected via quantitive Real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR). Finally, the levels of a protein related to myocardial apoptosis in rats were investigated via Western blotting. RESULTS The treatment with 1 μM CsA for 48 h caused significant apoptosis. The results of TUNEL staining showed the inhibitory role of CST on the myocardial apoptosis in rats induced by CsA. The detection of apoptosis factors via Real-time PCR revealed that after the induction of CsA, the expressions of Fas, FasL and Bax mRNA in cells were significantly higher than those in control group, but were significantly decreased after administration of CST. Western blotting showed that the protein expressions of Caspase 3 and Caspase 9 were remarkably elevated in cells after the use of CsA, but were significantly reduced after administration of CST (p < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS CST contributes to antagonistic function against the CsA-induced apoptosis of rat myocardial cells, and its effect is related to the down-regulation of expressions of apoptotic factors, Fas, FasL, Bax, Caspase 3, and Caspase 9.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aimed to explore the prevalence and determinants of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) in Chinese mid-life women. METHODS A cross-sectional single-center study was performed among 40-65-year-old women who participated in physical examinations at Shanghai Jiao Tong University Affiliated Sixth People's Hospital from December 2015 to December 2016. The participating women were questioned about their genitourinary symptoms, and the relationships between these symptoms and the women's demographic characteristics were evaluated. RESULTS The prevalence of GSM was 30.8%, the most frequent symptom was decreased sexual desire (18.4%), and the frequency of vulvovaginal symptoms and lower urinary tract symptoms was 17.5% and 14.8%, respectively. In addition, most of the symptoms were mild. In postmenopausal women, the prevalences of GSM and the three aforementioned symptoms were higher than those in perimenopausal women (p < 0.05). Based on binary logistic regression analysis, GSM was found to be associated with postmenopause (p = 0.007; odds ratio (OR) 1.52), at least two abortions (p = 0.035; OR 1.42), body mass index (BMI) ≥ 30 kg/m2 (p = 0.032; OR 1.91) and diabetes (p = 0.041; OR 1.94). CONCLUSIONS GSM is common in Chinese mid-life women, and associations between GSM and postmenopause, abortion, BMI and diabetes were identified. Health-care practitioners should actively discuss urogenital symptoms with middle-aged female patients and take appropriate interventions to improve the health of their urogenital tract and quality of life.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the association between single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of RS1826690 located in UGT2B4 gene and pathological complete response (pCR) to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer patients. Methods: A total of 146 breast cancer patients were enrolled to detect the SNPs of RS1826690 by sequenom. The relationship between SNPs of RS1826690 and pCR, predictors of pCR were analyzed by univariate or multivariate analysis. Results: The frequency of CC, CT and TT genetype of RS1826690 was 20.6%, 39.7% and 39.7%, respectively. Of the 171 patients, pCR was achieved in 39 cases (26.7%), with CC allele in 14 cases, CT allele in 7 cases and TT allele in 18 cases, and statistically significant difference was observed (χ(2)=16.684, P=0.003). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that SNPs of RS1826690 was an independent predictor of pCR (95% CI: 2.311-28.810, P=0.001) . SNPs of RS1826690 was statistically associated with estrogen receptor (ER) status (χ(2)=7.872, P=0.020). Conclusion: SNPs of RS1826690 was associated with pCR, and breast cancer patients with CC allele were more likely to achieve pCR.

Abstract
Controlled and compacted TiAl3 coating was successfully fabricated on the network structured TiBw/Ti6Al4V composites by hot-dipping aluminum and subsequent interdiffusion treatment. The network structure of the composites was inherited to the TiAl3 coating, which effectively reduces the thermal stress and avoids the cracks appeared in the coating. Moreover, TiB reinforcements could pin the TiAl3 coating which can effectively improve the bonding strength between the coating and composite substrate. The cycle oxidation behavior of the network structured coating on 873 K, 973 K and 1073 K for 100 h were investigated. The results showed the coating can remarkably improve the high temperature oxidation resistance of the TiBw/Ti6Al4V composites. The network structure was also inherited to the Al2O3 oxide scale, which effectively decreases the tendency of cracking even spalling about the oxide scale. Certainly, no crack was observed in the coating after long-term oxidation due to the division effect of network structured coating and pinning effect of TiB reinforcements. Interfacial reaction between the coating and the composite substrate occurred and a bilayer structure of TiAl/TiAl2 formed next to the substrate after oxidation at 973 K and 1073 K. The anti-oxidation mechanism of the network structured coating was also discussed.

Abstract
Titanium-magnesium (Ti-Mg) composites with bicontinuous structure have been successfully fabricated by powder metallurgy and ultrasonic infiltration for biomaterial potential. In the composites, Ti phase is distributed continuously by sintering necks, while Mg phase is also continuous, distributing at the interconnected pores surrounding the Ti phase. The results showed that the fabricated Ti-Mg composites exhibited low modulus and high strength, which are very suitable for load bearing biomedical materials. The composites with 100 µm and 230 µm particle sizes exhibited Young's modulus of 37.6 GPa and 23.4 GPa, 500.7 MPa and 340 MPa of compressive strength and 631.5 MPa and 375.2 MPa of bending strength, respectively. Moreover, both of the modulus and strength of the composites increase with decreasing of Ti particle sizes. In vitro study has been done for the preliminary evaluation of the Ti-Mg composites.
