Abstract
Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming healthcare, offering potential benefits and challenges. In healthcare, AI enhances efficiency, streamlines processes, and supports decision-making. However, challenges include potential errors and biases in algorithms, data privacy concerns, legal and ethical issues, and resistance to change. In nursing, a delicate balance emerges between AI and human touch. While AI aids in data-driven decision-making and administrative tasks, it lacks the emotional intelligence, empathy, and nuanced understanding crucial to nursing care. Nurses excel in critical thinking, adaptability to dynamic situations, patient advocacy, collaboration, and establishing human connections. AI supports these functions by automating routine tasks and offering decision support tools, yet its rigidity in dynamic situations and lack of human touch pose limitations. This review underscores the necessity of careful AI integration in healthcare, acknowledging its advantages while mitigating drawbacks. In nursing, the symbiosis between AI and human qualities is vital. The role of AI should be to complement, not replace, the unique skills and empathetic aspects of nursing care. Addressing concerns related to bias, transparency, data privacy, and professional training is essential for maximizing the benefits of AI in healthcare while preserving the human touch in patient care. This article explores whether AI can replace unique nursing roles.

Abstract
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is caused due to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. Both immediate and long-term adverse effects arise out of this disease's aftermath. It involves various organs, which include endocrine glands, nervous system, musculoskeletal system, and other organs. The long-term outcomes of the SARS-CoV-2 infection are influenced by preexisting comorbidities. Genetic, environmental, and immunological factors contribute to the development of various autoimmune diseases, which include Graves' disease (GD). The growing mystery surrounding this virus is exacerbated by auto-inflammatory diseases, such as pediatric inflammatory multisystemic syndrome (PIMS) or multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C), which raises concerns about the nature of the virus' connection to the autoimmune and auto-inflammatory sequelae. There is a need to understand the underlying mechanisms of developing GD in post-COVID-19 patients. There are limited data regarding the pathogenesis involved in post-COVID-19 GD. Our goal was to understand the various mechanisms involved in post-COVID-19 GD among patients with confirmed COVID-19 infection. According to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines for 2020, a literature search of medical databases (PubMed, Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, and Scopus) from February 2021 to February 2022 was performed by five authors. The keywords used were "Post COVID-19," "Grave's disease," "Cytokine storm," "Autoimmunity," and "Molecular mimicry." This review revealed three underlying mechanisms that resulted in post-COVID GD, which included cytokine storm, molecular mimicry, ACE2 receptor concentration, and cell-mediated immunity. The full spectrum of the effects of COVID-19 needs to be researched.

Abstract
Globally, we are seeing a rise in non-communicable diseases such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, chronic respiratory diseases, cancer, etc., due to stressful lifestyle in this competitive world. Most of the non-communicable diseases are associated with lifestyle behavior. Presently, the role of lifestyle medicine is very critical and important in the management of chronic lifestyle-associated disorders. Considering the above facts, we decided to review the literature to gain a deeper insight into the implications of lifestyle medicine in medical practice. A literature search was conducted on PubMed, Scopus and Google Scholar databases. We observed that lifestyle medicine intervention is a growing and newer discipline and is being employed along with conventional management of non-communicable diseases by medical practitioners today, as they are strongly associated with lifestyle behaviors and practices. Motivation for change in lifestyle is challenging because it depends on the patient's determination and eagerness to adapt and accommodate to the newer lifestyle pattern. The medical practitioners should spend time in coaching patients on lifestyle-related health education. Guidance and coaching by medical practitioners will help patients adapt to practices of maintaining regular physical activity, a balanced diet, good sleep hygiene, and avoid addictions of tobacco and alcohol as part of life. Introducing real and progressive evidence-based behavioral changes to reduce the risks of lifestyle-related acute and chronic diseases in medical practice will reduce the burden of non-communicable disease.

Abstract
Introduction Modernization has led to greater usage of Air Conditioners (ACs) in our daily lives. It is observed that the occupants of office buildings with ACs consistently report on average more symptoms than do occupants of office buildings with natural ventilation referred to as Sick Building Syndrome (SBS). The appearance of symptoms reduces work efficiency and increases absenteeism due to sickness (sickness absenteeism). Therefore, the present study was planned to evaluate the impact of usage of ACs on SBS and to find out the association of ACs with sickness absenteeism and lung function tests. Materials and Methods This study was conducted on 200 healthy non-smoker adults in the age group of 18 to 45 years who were using ACs for at least 6 to 8 h/day for more than 2 years (group I). And 200 healthy adults, age and gender-matched, with the same work pattern, not using ACs at all served as controls (group II). The basic information on the usage of ACs and the prevalence of discomfort related to neural symptoms, respiratory symptoms, and skin and mucous membrane related to SBS was obtained through a questionnaire. Results The building-related symptoms in group I males were more compared to group II males and significantly higher in group I males compared to females. We observed that the appearance of symptoms of SBS led to sickness absenteeism among group I participants. Lung function tests especially FVC, FEV1, PEFR, and MVV were significantly reduced among group I males and females compared to group II males and females. Conclusion ACs have a profound effect on the quality of the air we breathe and on human health than just lowering the temperature. There is a higher prevalence of SBS-Respiratory and allergic symptoms in AC users.

Abstract
In the past, bone fractures due to accidents were rectified by surgery and reconstruction of bone structure. In recent times, researchers have been made to find a solution by producing alternate biomaterials. Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is one of the most important bioactive materials used as a substitute for human hard tissue because of its composition being very similar to human bones and teeth. A study has proved that HAp has been used for bone regeneration in clinical trials in the mid-1980. HAp has been used as implant coatings and graft materials and also used as granules, cement, and pastes for bone regenerative applications. HAp coatings on bioimplants improved biocompatibility, bioactivity, and biological fixation. Moreover, some of the deposition methods can be employed to increase the cellular responses of bone regeneration such as sputtering, spraying, electrodeposition, and pulsed layer deposition. The researcher has prepared hydroxyapatite from chemical and natural sources. The surface area and intrinsic properties of the HAp play a vital role in bone-related applications. This can be achieved by synthesizing the HAp from natural sources rather than synthetic materials. The HAp obtained from the chemical source is not fulfilling the requirements of the natural bone. A variety of biowaste materials such as eggshell, crab shell, snail shell, bovine bone, fishbone, and fish scales are available in nature and can be converted to useful calcium source for HAp. The present study is to produce the HAp from biowaste materials like eggshell and chemical sources using the wet precipitation method. The synthesized HAp is coated on the Ti6Al4V alloy using the electrodeposition method, and it is immersed in SBF solution at 37 °C for corrosion testing. The coated samples are investigated by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), electrochemical study, field emission scanning electron icroscopy (FESEM), energy dispersive X-ray analysis (EDAX), AFM, and antibacterial activity with two different microorganisms. FTIR and XRD confirm the functional groups and crystallinity of the HAp. The good antibacterial activity of the HAp is observed against two bacterial strains. The corrosion studies reveal that the HAp derived from a natural source is eco-friendly and nontoxic and has excellent corrosion resistivity and cell adhesion properties. A strong bond is formed between the naturally derived HAp with bone tissue which is involved in the bio-resorption process and does not pose any side effect to the human body compared to synthetically derived HAp. In addition, the biowaste materials are converted to useful biomaterials and can reduce environmental pollution.

Abstract
Introduction: Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is due to severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection, which belongs to beta-coronaviruses of the Coronaviridae family. SARS-coV-2 causes acute respiratory infection with varying severity in different age groups, wherein adults can develop severe disease, while children are relatively spared until now, with COVID-19 in children accounting for only 1-5% of diagnosed cases. Although COVID-19 incidence rate in children is relatively low, their protection from COVID-19 is still a matter of increasing concern as children constitute a large vulnerable population. In order to develop effective therapeutic management and preventive measures against COVID-19 in children, there is an urgent need for a better understanding of its pathophysiology at the molecular level and clinical presentation as well as possible protective mechanisms in the pediatric population. Objectives: There is limited data regarding the incidence and clinical presentation of SARS-CoV-2 infection in children. Our goal was to understand the clinical picture and presentation of pediatric patients with confirmed COVID-19. Methods: A systematic literature search of popular medical databases (PubMed, Cochrane Central Register of Clinical Trials and Scopus), restricted to English language publications only, was conducted by us. We chose published peer-reviewed and cross-sectional articles as well as case series providing clinical signs, imaging findings and laboratory results of pediatric patients, using the following inclusion criteria: children aged up to 18 years who tested positive for COVID-19 and in whom SARS-Co-V-2 was detected in the nasal/throat swab by real time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). Conclusion: Our review revealed that, in children, COVID-19 was milder in terms of disease severity and clinical presentation, and it had a better prognosis and a lower mortality rate than adults.

Abstract
The importance of house fly (Musca domestica L) wings in mechanical transmission of bacteria was studied. A droplet of phosphate-buffered saline containing Vibrio cholerae was rolled along one wing of each house fly. None adhered to the wings but small proportions of the bacterium were isolated from about half the wings. Vibrio cholerae was spread onto the ventral wing surfaces of each unconscious house fly which then was placed inside a bottle. When it regained consciousness, the types of activity it performed over five minutes were noted before the house fly was killed and the bacteria on its wings numerated. Control were house flies killed before inoculation. The proportion of house flies with bacteria on their wings and the mean number of bacteria remaining were significantly less on live house flies than killed controls. Among the live house flies, bacteria were detected on fewer house flies which flew (25%) than those which did not fly (81%). In addition, the mean number of bacteria on the former was significantly less than the latter (5 against 780 colonies). However, both these parameters were not significantly different between the group which performed and the group which did not perform wing grooming; takeoff and alighting over short distances, and somersaulting. Wings of unconscious house flies tethered by their thoraxes were inoculated with V. cholerae. After regaining consciousness, the house flies were allowed to move their wings in flight motions for up to 30 seconds. Small proportions of bacteria remained on all the house flies. House flies were placed in a chamber containing a liquid bait spiked with V. cholerae. After two hours, 10 were removed sequentially and cultured for V. cholerae. The bacterium was isolated from four house flies: two from the legs, and two others from their bodies minus legs and wings. In conclusion, house fly wings do not play an important role in mechanical transmission of bacteria suspended in a non-adhering liquid medium because of the low transfer rate of the bacteria to the wings and poor retention of bacteria on the wings during normal house fly activities.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the impact of maintenance haemodialysis and live-related renal transplantation on the reproductive potential of men with end-stage renal disease. PATIENTS AND METHODS The plasma levels of testosterone, follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) were determined, and semen analysed, in 19 men (22-41 years old) with advanced uraemia after 6 months of dialysis and again 6 months after renal transplantation. Eight patients who had azoospermia or severe oligospermia underwent testicular biopsy after 6 months of dialysis and again 6 months after the transplant. RESULTS Following dialysis, levels of testosterone were low in 17 patients and levels of LH and FSH were elevated in 15 and eight patients, respectively. Four patients each had azoospermia and severe oligospermia. The testicular tissue was hypospematogenic in three patients, showed late-maturation arrest in four and germ cell aplasia in one. After renal transplantation, testosterone and LH levels returned to normal in 15 and 13 patients, respectively, while FSH levels became normal in only two patients. The recovery of testosterone and LH levels after transplantation was statistically significant. Semen quality improved in 13 patients, with the improvement in sperm density and motility being statistically significant. Testicular histology revealed normal spermatogenesis in four patients, while three continued to show late-maturation arrest. The wives of five of the transplanted patients conceived. CONCLUSIONS The impairment of testicular function seen in advanced uraemia is not reversible by maintenance haemodialysis. In contrast, after successful transplantation, steroidogenic function became almost normal while spermatogenic function showed a striking if incomplete recovery.
