Abstract
The electronic structures of FeFe-cofactors (FeFe-cos) in resting and turnover states, together with their PN clusters from iron-only nitrogenases, have been calculated using the bond valence method, and their crystallographic data were reported recently and deposited in the Protein Data Bank (PDB codes: 8BOQ and 8OIE). The calculated results have also been compared with those of their homologous Mo- and V-nitrogenases. For FeFe-cos in the resting state, Fe1/2/4/5/6/7/8 atoms are prone to Fe3+, while the Fe3 atom shows different degrees of mixed valences. The results support that the Fe8 atom at the terminal positions of FeFe-cos possesses the same oxidation states as the Mo3+/V3+ atoms of FeMo-/FeV-cos. In the turnover state, the overall oxidation state of FeFe-co is slightly reduced than those in the resting species, and its electronic configuration is rearranged after the substitution of S2B with OH, compatible with those found in CO-bound FeV-co. Moreover, the calculations give the formal oxidation states of 6Fe2+-2Fe3+ for the electronic structures of PN clusters in Fe-nitrogenases. By the comparison of Mo-, V- and Fe-nitrogenases, the overall oxidation levels of 7Fe atoms (Fe1-Fe7) for both FeFe- and FeMo-cos in resting states are found to be higher than that of FeV-co. For the PN clusters in MoFe-, VFe- and FeFe-proteins, they all exhibit a strong reductive character.

Abstract
The triazolate-assisted asymmetric dinuclear oxovanadium(IV) citrate [V2O2(cit)(Hdatrz)3]·5H2O (1, H4cit = citric acid, Hdatrz = 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3,5-diamine) and its additive salt [V2O2(cit)(Hdatrz)3][V2O2(cit)2]½·2H2datrz·9.5H2O (2) and the polymerized hexanuclear product [V6O6(μ3-O)2(cit)2(Hdatrz)4]·4H2O (3) have been isolated at different temperatures, respectively. Adduct 2 shows strong evidence for the conversion of a symmetric dinuclear oxovanadium(IV) citrate to a mixed-ligand asymmetric oxovanadium(IV) citrate. Moreover, a fully oxidized trinuclear vanadium(V) species [V3O6(μ2-OH)(μ3-O)(Hdatrz)2]·4.5H2O (4) has also been isolated as a quasi-intermediate product of 3 without the coordination of citrate. Intriguingly, an octanuclear mixed-valence oxovanadium(V/IV) citrate K2{[VIV/V2O2(cit)(Hdatrz)(datrz)]2[VIV2O2(cit)(Hdatrz)(datrz)]2}·27.5H2O (5) has been obtained with different vanadium units, where dinuclear mixed-ligands and mixed-valence oxovanadium(IV/V) citrates [VIV/V2O2(cit)(Hdatrz)(datrz)] (5a) and [VIV2O2(cit)(Hdatrz)(datrz)] (5b) have been trapped. Citrate adopts a μ2-η1:η1:η1:η2 coordination mode in 1, 2 and 5, while a μ3-η1:η1:η1:η2 fashion has been observed in 3. Unlike 1-4, complex 5 contains both protonated and deprotonated triazolates simultaneously, where four triazolates further coordinate in a μ3-η1:η1:η1 manner to construct an octanuclear unit. These different structural features in 1-5 are dominated by flexible multidentate citrates and protonated/deprotonated triazolates, showing their synergistic effects. Furthermore, 1 exhibits a rectangular channel, showing preferential adsorption of O2 and CO2 over gases N2, H2, and CH4.

Abstract
Objectives: To analyze the factors relative to the short-term preservation of ipsilateral renal function after partial nephrectomy. Methods: The clinical data of 83 patients who were treated with partial nephrectomy from December 2014 to December 2019 in the Department of Urology, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center were retrospectively analyzed. There were 54 males and 29 females, aging (M (IQR)) 49 (17) years (range: 27 to 74 years). The ischemia time in operation was 25 (18) minutes (range: 10 to 67 minutes). Emission computed tomography scan and CT scan were performed before (within 1 month) and after (3 to 12 months) surgery. The volume of the ipsilateral and contralateral kidney was measured on the basis of preoperative and postoperative CT scans. The glomerular filtration rate (GFR) specifically in each kidney was estimated by emission computed tomography. Recovery from ischemia is determined by the formula: GFR preservation/volume saved×100%. Linear regression was used to explore the factors ralative to the short-term preservation of ipsilateral renal function after partial nephrectomy. Results: The GFR preservation of the ipsilateral kidney was 80.9 (25.2) % (range: 31.0% to 109.4%). The volume loss of the kidney resulted in a decrease of 12.0% (5.8 ml/(min×1.96 m2)) of GFR, while the ischemic injury resulted in a decrease of 6.5% (2.5 ml/(min×1.96 m2)) of GFR. The volume saved from the ipsilateral kidney was 87.1 (12.9) % (range: 27.0% to 131.7%). Recovery from ischemia was 93.5 (17.5) % (range:44.3% to 178.3%). In multivariate analysis, GFR preservation of the ipsilateral kidney was significantly correlated with the volume saved of the ipsilateral kidney (β=0.383, 95%CI: 0.144 to 0.622, P=0.002). It was not related to the ischemia time (β=0.046, 95%CI:-0.383 to 0.475, P=0.831). Conclusion: In the condition of limited ischemic time, in the short term ipsilateral renal function after partial nephrectomy is mainly determined by the loss of kidney volume, while ischemic injury only plays a minor role.

Abstract
Objective: To report the long-term survival of renal cell carcinoma (RCC) patients treated with radical nephrectomy in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical, pathological and follow-up records of 1 367 non-metastatic RCC patients treated with radical nephrectomy from 1999 to 2020 in this center. The primary endpoint of this study was overall survival rate. Survival curves were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method, and group differences were compared through Log-rank test. Univariate and multivariate Cox analysis were fit to determine the clinical and pathological features associated with overall survival rate. Results: A total of 1 367 patients treated with radical nephrectomy with complete follow-up data were included in the study. The median follow-up time was 52.6 months, and 1 100 patients survived and 267 died, with the median time to overall survival not yet reached. The 5-year and 10-year overall survival rates were 82.8% and 74.9%, respectively. The 5-year and 10-year overall survival rates of Leibovich low-risk patients were 93.3% and 88.2%, respectively; of Leibovich intermediate-risk patients were 82.2% and 72.3%, respectively; and of Leibovich high-risk patients were 50.5% and 30.2%, respectively. There were significant differences in the long-term survival among the three groups (P<0.001). The 10-year overall survival rates for patients with pT1, pT2, pT3 and pT4 RCC were 83.2%, 73.6%, 55.0% and 31.4%, respectively. There were significant differences among pT1, pT2, pT3 and pT4 patients(P<0.001). The 5-year and 10-year overall survival rates of patients with lymph node metastasis were 48.5% and 35.6%, respectively, and those of patients without lymph node metastasis were 85.1% and 77.5%, respectively. There was significant difference in the long-term survival between patients with lymph node metastasis and without lymph node metastasis. The 10-year overall survival rate was 96.2% for nuclear Grade 1, 81.6% for nuclear Grade 2, 60.5% for nuclear Grade 3, and 43.4% for nuclear Grade 4 patients. The difference was statistically significant. There was no significant difference in the long-term survival between patients with localized renal cancer (pT1-2N0M0) who underwent open surgery and minimally invasive surgery (10-year overall survival rate 80.5% vs 85.6%, P=0.160). Multivariate Cox analysis showed that age≥55 years (HR=2.11, 95% CI: 1.50-2.96, P<0.001), T stage(T3+ T4 vs T1a: HR=2.37, 95% CI: 1.26-4.46, P=0.008), local lymph node metastasis (HR=3.04, 95%CI: 1.81-5.09, P<0.001), nuclear grade (G3-G4 vs G1: HR=4.21, 95%CI: 1.51-11.75, P=0.006), tumor necrosis (HR=1.66, 95% CI: 1.17-2.37, P=0.005), sarcomatoid differentiation (HR=2.39, 95% CI: 1.31-4.35, P=0.005) and BMI≥24kg/m(2) (HR=0.56, 95%CI: 0.39-0.80, P=0.001) were independent factors affecting long-term survival after radical nephrectomy. Conclusions: The long-term survival of radical nephrectomy in patients with renal cell carcinoma is satisfactory. Advanced age, higher pathological stage and grade, tumor necrosis and sarcomatoid differentiation were the main adverse factors affecting the prognosis of patients. Higher body mass index was a protective factor for the prognosis of patients.

Abstract
Chiral imidazole-based oxidovanadium tartrates (H2im)2[Δ,Λ-VIV2O2(R,R-H2tart)(R,R-tart)(Him)2]·Him (1, H4tart = tartaric acid, Him = imidazole) and [Λ,Λ-VIV2O2(R,R-tart)(Him)6]·4H2O (2) and their corresponding enantiomers (H2im)2[Λ,Δ-VIV2O2(S,S-H2tart)(S,S-tart)(Him)2]·Him (3) and [Δ,Δ-VIV2O2(S,S-tart)(Him)6]·4H2O (4) were obtained in alkaline solutions. Interestingly, the tartrates chelate with vanadium bidentately through α-alkoxy/α-hydroxy and α-carboxy groups and imidazole coordinates monodentately through nitrogen atom. It is worth noting that complexes 1 and 3 contain both protonated α-hydroxy and deprotonated α-alkoxy groups simultaneously, which have short V-Oα-alkoxy distances [1.976(4)av Å in 1-4] and long V-Oα-hydroxy distances [2.237(3)av Å in 1 and 2.230(2)av Å in 3]. There is an interesting strong intramolecular hydrogen bond [O(11)⋯O(1) 2.731(5) Å] between the two parts in 1 and 3. The protonated V-O distances are closer to the average bond distance in reported FeV-cofactors (FeV-cos, V-Oα-alkoxy 2.156av Å) in VFe proteins, which corresponds to the feasible protonation of coordinated α-hydroxy in R-homocitrate in V-nitrogenase, showing the homocitrate in the mechanistic model for nitrogen reduction as a secondary proton donor. Furthermore, vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) and IR spectra of 1-4 pointed out the disparity between the characteristic vibrations of the C-O and C-OH groups clearly. EPR experiment and theoretical calculations support +4 oxidation states for vanadium in 1-4. Solution 13C {1H} NMR spectra and CV analyses exhibited the solution properties for 1 and 2, respectively, which indicates that there should be a rapid exchange equilibrium between the protonated and deprotonated species in solutions.

Abstract
Objective: To establish a nomogram prognostic model for predicting the 5-, 10-, and 15-year overall survival (OS) of non-metastatic renal cell carcinoma patients managed with radical nephrectomy (RN), compare the modelled results with the results of pure pathologic staging, the Karakiewicz nomogram and the Mayo Clinic Stage, Size, Grade, and Necrosis (SSIGN) score commonly used in foreign countries, and stratify the patients into different prognostic risk subgroups. Methods: A total of 1 246 non-metastatic renal cell carcinoma patients managed with RN in Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center (SYSUCC) from 1999 to 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. Multivariate Cox regression analysis was used to screen the variables that influence the prognosis for nomogram establishment, and the bootstrap random sampling was used for internal validation. The time-receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC), the calibration curve and the clinical decision curve analysis (DCA) were applied to evaluate the nomogram. The prediction efficacy of the nomogram and that of the pure pathologic staging, the Karakiewicz nomogram and the SSIGN score was compared through the area under the curve (AUC). Finally, patients were stratified into different risk subgroups according to our nomogram scores. Results: A total of 1 246 patients managed with RN were enrolled in this study. Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that age, smoking history, pathological nuclear grade, sarcomatoid differentiation, tumor necrosis and pathological T and N stages were independent prognostic factors for RN patients (all P<0.05). A nomogram model named SYSUCC based on these factors was built to predict the 5-, 10-, and 15-year survival rate of the participating patients. In the bootstrap random sampling with 1 000 iterations, all these factors occurred for more than 800 times as independent predictors. The Harrell's concordance index (C-index) of SYSUCC was higher compared with pure pathological staging [0.770 (95% CI: 0.716-0.823) vs 0.674 (95% CI: 0.621-0.728)]. The calibration curve showed that the survival rate as predicted by the SYSUCC model simulated the actual rate, while the clinical DCA showed that the SYSUCC nomogram has a benefit in certain probability ranges. In the ROC analysis that included 857 patients with detailed pathological nuclear stages, the nomogram had a larger AUC (5-/10-year AUC: 0.823/0.804) and better discriminating ability than pure pathological staging (5-/10-year AUC: 0.701/0.658), Karakiewicz nomogram (5-/10-year AUC: 0.772/0.734) and SSIGN score (5-/10-year AUC: 0.792/0.750) in predicting the 5-/10-year OS of RN patients (all P<0.05). In addition, the AUC of the SYSUCC nomogram for predicting the 15-year OS (0.820) was larger than that of the SSIGN score (0.709), and there was no statistical difference (P<0.05) between the SYSUCC nomogram, pure pathological staging (0.773) and the Karakiewicz nomogram (0.826). The calibration curve was close to the standard curve, which indicated that the model has good predictive performance. Finally, patients were stratified into low-, intermediate-, and high-risk subgroups (738, 379 and 129, respectively) according to the SYSUCC nomogram scores, among whom patients in intermediate- and high-risk subgroups had a worse OS than patients in the low-risk subgroup (intermediate-risk group vs. low-risk group: HR=4.33, 95% CI: 3.22-5.81, P<0.001; high-risk group vs low-risk group: HR=11.95, 95% CI: 8.29-17.24, P<0.001), and the high-risk subgroup had a worse OS than the intermediate-risk group (HR=2.63, 95% CI: 1.88-3.68, P<0.001). Conclusions: Age, smoking history, pathological nuclear grade, sarcomatoid differentiation, tumor necrosis and pathological stage were independent prognostic factors for non-metastasis renal cell carcinoma patients after RN. The SYSUCC nomogram based on these independent prognostic factors can better predict the 5-, 10-, and 15-year OS than pure pathological staging, the Karakiewicz nomogram and the SSIGN score of patients after RN. In addition, the SYSUCC nomogram has good discrimination, agreement, risk stratification and clinical application potential.

Abstract
Spontaneous resolution has been found for a pair of cage-like octanuclear mixed-valent vanadium(III/IV) malate enantiomers [Δ-VIII4VIV4O5(R-mal)6(Hdatrz)6]·44.5H2O (ΔR-1) and [Λ-VIII4VIV4O5(S-mal)6(Hdatrz)6]·38.5H2O (ΛS-1, H3mal = malic acid; Hdatrz = 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-triazole). Their racemic reduced product K7[VIII5VIV3O5(R,S-mal)6(trz)6]·17H2O (2) and tetradecanuclear species K11[VIII3VIV11O11(R,S-mal)12(atrz)6]·45.5H2O (3) (Htrz = 1,2,3-triazole, Hatrz = 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole) have also been obtained. In situ decarboxylation happens for 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole-5-carboxylic acid (H2atrzc) to yield 3-amino-1,2,4-triazole under hydrothermal conditions. Both 1 and 2 show an interesting bicapped-triangular-prismatic {V8O5(mal)6} building block, which further decorates symmetrically with three [VIV2O2(R,S-mal)2]2- units to construct a pinwheel-like {V14}-cluster, 3. Bond valence calculation sum (BVS) analyses manifest that the oxidation states of bicapped V atoms are +3 in 1-3, while the other V atoms in the {V6O5} core are ambiguous between +3 and +4 states with strong electron delocalization. Intriguingly, the triple helical chains in 1 associate in parallel to generate an amine-functionalized chiral polyoxovanadate (POV)-based supramolecular open-framework. The diameter of the interior channel is 13.6 Å, showing preferential adsorption of CO2 over gases N2, H2, and CH4. Importantly, homochiral framework ΔR-1 is capable of performing chiral interface recognition for R-1,3-butanediol (R-BDO) through host-guest interactions, as confirmed by the structural analysis of the host-guest complex ΔR-1·3(R-BDO). There are six R-BDO molecules in the channel of ΔR-1.

Abstract
Hexanuclear polyoxomolybdenum-based discrete supermolecules Nax[MoV6O6(μ2-O)9(Htrz)6-x(trz)x]·nH2O (x = 0, n = 15, 1; x = 1, n = 12, 2; x = 2, n = 10, 3; x = 2, n = 49, 4; Htrz = 1H-1,2,3-triazole) have been prepared and fully characterized with different amounts of sodium cations inside and outside the intrinsic holes. Structural analyses demonstrate that they all exist a triangular channel constructed by six molybdenum-oxygen groups with inner diameters of 2.86 (1), 2.48 (2), and 3.04 (3/4) Å, respectively. Zero, one, or two univalent enthetic guest Na+ have been hosted around the structural centers, which reflect the expansion and contraction effects at microscopic level. Water-soluble species can serve as crown ether-like metallacycles before and after the sodium binding. Diverse nanoscale pores are further formed through intermolecular accumulations with hydrogen bonding. Gas adsorption studies indicate that 2-4 can selectively adsorb CO2 and O2 but have little or even no affinities toward H2, N2, and CH4. Theoretical calculations corroborate the roles of Na+ and auxiliary ligand with different states in bond distances, molecular orbitals, electrostatic potentials, and lattice energies in these discrete clusters. The binding orders of sodium cations in 2-4 are similar with the classical crown ethers, where 2 is the strongest one with 2.226(4)av Å for sodium cation bonded to six O atoms.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical effects of free anterolateral thigh perforator flap pedicled with descending genicular artery in repairing wounds after lower leg limb-sparing surgery. Methods: A retrospective observational study was conducted. From January 2019 to June 2021, 12 patients with wounds after lower leg limb-sparing surgery who met the inclusion criteria were admitted to Suzhou Ruihua Orthopedic Hospital, including 6 males and 6 females, aged 17 to 74 years, with original wound area ranging from 17 cm×9 cm to 40 cm×15 cm. Five patients had infection in wounds. The wounds were all repaired by free anterolateral thigh perforator flap from contralateral thigh, with area of 18 cm×10 cm to 37 cm×9 cm. The artery of flap was anastomosed with the descending genicular artery, and the wounds in donor areas were sutured directly. Seven patients were transplanted with split-thickness skin grafts from the contralateral thigh to cover the remaining wounds that can not be covered by flap and the wounds in donor areas were covered with gauze. During the operation, the types of perforating branch carried by flap and the types of arteries and veins in recipient areas were recorded. The survival and occurrence of vascular crisis of flap, the survival of skin graft, the wound healing in donor and recipient areas, and the length of hospital stay after flap transplant surgery were recorded. During follow-up, the color and texture of flap, reinfection in lower leg, and fracture healing were recorded. At the last follow-up, the limb salvage function of patients was evaluated according to the functional evaluation criteria of Chen Zhongwei's amputated limb replantation. Results: The types of perforating branches carried by flaps were as follows: 6 cases of only carrying the descending branch of the lateral circumflex femoral artery, 3 cases of only carrying the oblique branch of the lateral circumflex femoral artery, and 3 cases of carrying the descending branch of the lateral circumflex femoral artery and oblique branch of the lateral circumflex femoral artery after internal pressurization anastomosis. The types of arteries in the recipient area of flap were as follows: one case of main trunk of the descending genicular artery, 8 cases of the saphenous branch of the descending genicular artery, and 3 cases of the articular branch of the descending genicular artery. The types of veins in the recipient area of flap were as follows: 8 cases of one accompanying vein of the descending genicular artery and one branch of the great saphenous vein, and 4 cases of two branches of the great saphenous vein. All the flaps survived without vascular crisis, and all the skin grafts also survived. The wounds in the donor and recipient areas were all healed. The length of hospital stay of patient after flap transplant surgery ranged from 13 to 79 days. During the follow-up of 6 to 23 months, the color and texture of flap were both good, with no infection in lower leg wound. Internal or external fixation were removed after fracture healing in 5 patients, and bone graft internal fixation was performed in 7 patients whose fractures were not healed after surgery and all the incisions healed without infection. At the last follow-up, the limb salvage effect of patients was evaluated as followings: excellent in 7 patients, good in 4 patients, and fair in one patient. Conclusions: Free anterolateral thigh flap pedicled with descending genicular artery can effectively repair the wounds after lower leg limb-sparing surgery and control infection with short length of hospital stay, while not increasing the risk of secondary injury of distal limb vessels. Thus, it can obtain satisfactory limb salvage effect which is worthy of clinical promotion.

Abstract
Objectives: To analyze the long-term survival of patients with localized renal cell carcinoma after partical nephrectomy. Methods: The clinicopathological records and survival follow-up data of 2 046 patients with localized renal cell carcinoma, who were treated with partial nephrectomy from August 2001 to February 2021 in the Department of Urology, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, were retrospectively analyzed. There were 1 402 males and 644 females, aged (M(IQR)) 51 (19) years (range: 6 to 86 years). The primary end point of this study was cancer-specific survival. Survival curves were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method, and the difference test was performed by Log-rank test. Univariate and multivariate Cox analysis were fitted to determine factors associated with cancer-specific survival. Results: The follow-up time was 49.2 (48.0) months (range: 1 to 229 months), with 1 974 patients surviving and 72 dying. The median cancer-specific survival time has not yet been reached. The 5- and 10-year cancer specific survival rates were 97.0% and 91.2%, respectively. The 10-year cancer-specific survival rates for stage pT1a (n=1 447), pT1b (n=523) and pT2 (n=58) were 95.3%, 81.8%, and 81.7%, respectively. The 10-year cancer-specific survival rates of patients with nuclear grade 1 (n=226), 2 (n=1 244) and 3 to 4 (n=278) were 96.6%, 89.4%, and 85.5%, respectively. There were no significant differences in 5-year cancer-specific survival rates among patients underwent open, laparoscopic, or robotic surgery (96.7% vs. 97.1% vs. 97.5%, P=0.600). Multivariate analysis showed that age≥50 years (HR=3.93, 95%CI: 1.82 to 8.47, P<0.01), T stage (T1b vs. T1a: HR=3.31, 95%CI: 1.83 to 5.99, P<0.01; T2+T3 vs. T1a: HR=2.88, 95%CI: 1.00 to 8.28, P=0.049) and nuclear grade (G3 to 4 vs. G1: HR=2.81, 95%CI: 1.01 to 7.82, P=0.048) were independent prognostic factors of localized renal cell carcinoma after partial nephrectomy. Conclusions: The long-term cancer-specific survival rates of patients with localized renal cancer after partial nephrectomy are satisfactory. The type of operation (open, laparoscopic, or robotic) has no significant effect on survival. However, patients with older age, higher nuclear grade, and higher T stage have a lower cancer-specific survival rate. Grasping surgical indications, attaching importance to preoperative evaluation, perioperative management, and postoperative follow-up, could benefit achieving satisfactory long-term survival.

Abstract
In order to explore the mechanism responsible for the interactions in the surfactant-polymer composite flooding and broaden the application range of the binary system in heterogeneous oil reservoirs, in this paper, the influences of different surfactants on the viscosity of two polymers with similar molecular weights, partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide (HPAM) and hydrophobically modified polyacrylamide (HMPAM), were studied at different reservoir environments. In addition, the relationship between the surfactant-polymer synergistic effects and oil displacement efficiency was also investigated. The experimental results show that for HPAM, surfactants mainly act as an electrolyte to reduce its viscosity. For HMPAM, SDBS and TX-100 will form aggregates with the hydrophobic blocks of polymer molecules, reducing the bulk viscosity. However, zwitterionic surfactant aralkyl substituted alkyl sulfobetaine BSB molecules can build "bridges" between different polymer molecules through hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interaction. After forming aggregates with HMPAM molecules, the viscosity will increase. The presence of two polymers all weakened the surfactant oil-water interfacial membrane strength to a certain extent, but had little effect on the interfacial tension. The synergistic effect of the "bridge" between HMPAM and BSB under macroscopic conditions also occurs in the microscopic pores of the core, which has a beneficial effect on improving oil recovery.

Abstract
By adjusting the pH values of the solutions, binuclear, tetranuclear and hexadecanuclear glycolato thio- and oxomolybdenum(V/IV) complexes [MoV2O2(μ2-O)(μ2-S)(Hglyc)2(Hpz)2]·H2O (1, H2glyc = glycolic acid, Hpz = pyrazole), (Hdpa)[MoV2O2(μ2-S)2(Hglyc)(glyc)(H2O)] (2, dpa = 2,2'-dipyridylamine), (Hdpa)4[MoV4O4(μ3-O)2(μ2-S)2(glyc)2(S2O3)2] (3) and Na2[MoIV4MoV12O12(μ2-O)6(μ2-OH)2(μ3-O)12(glyc)4(Hpz)4(pz)8]·28H2O (4) have been obtained successfully. Here the glycolates existed in varying aggregates with different degrees of protonation and deprotonation in 1-4. The stable formations of 1 and 2 are attributed to strong hydrogen bonds formed between the molecules. In particular, the asymmetric unit in 2 is a tetramer linked by hydrogen bonding [2.574(9) Å] between α-hydroxy and α-alkoxy groups for further construction of unsaturated penta-coordination environments. Moreover, deprotonated glycolates act as bridging ligands to form tetra- and hexadecanuclear compounds 3 and 4, respectively. The smallest unit in 4 exhibits mixed valences of 4+ and 5+ simultaneously, where its gas adsorption experiments manifest that 4 is obviously beneficial for O2 and CO2 compared with no adsorption of N2, CH4 and H2 at different pressures.

Abstract
Objectives: To examine the landscape and metastases of the lymph nodes in prostatic anterior fat pad (PAFP) at radical prostatectomy (RP), and to describe the clinical characteristic of the patients with lymph node metastases in PAFP. Methods: The clinical and pathological data of 287 prostate cancer patients underwent RP from December 2019 to August 2021 in Department of Urology, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center were collected and analyzed retrospectively. All patients were male, aging (66±7) years (range: 42 to 83 years). The preoperative prostate-specific antigen (PSA) (M(IQR)) were 16.00(29.64) μg/L (range: 0.01 to 99.90 μg/L). There were 244 patients with localized or locally advanced prostate cancer and 43 patients with metastatic prostate cancer. All PAFP were dissected at RP routinely and were sent for pathologic analysis respectively. The PAFP was dissected from the prostate apex caudally toward the bladder neck and dissection extended to the joint of the prostate and the endopelvic fascia bilaterally. All the specimen of PAFP were examined and reported by subspecialty pathologists of genitourinary tumors. Statistical analysis was performed by Student t test, Wilcoxon rank-sum test, χ2 test or Fisher exact test. Results: There were 8.0% (23/287) patients with lymph nodes in PAFP, 3.8% (11/287) patients with PAFP lymph node metastases. Pathologically upstaged occurred in 1 patient due to the PAFP lymph node as the solitary metastatic lesion. Patients with lymph node metastases in PAFP presented higher preoperative PSA (M(IQR): 48.2(73.0) μg/L vs. 15.4(26.5) μg/L, Z=3.158, P=0.002), clinical T stage and N stage (Z=2.977, P=0.003; Z=2.780, P=0.005) and preoperative Gleason score (Z=2.205, P=0.027). Conclusions: Routine dissection of PAFP at RP and separately pathological analysis may allow more lymph nodes and lymph node metastases detection. More accurate pathological N stage may be acquired and consequently may improve the survival of patients by offering more appropriate adjuvant or salvage therapy.

Abstract
Two pairs of enantiomerically pure hexanuclear and tetranuclear microporous molybdenum(V) d/l-tartrates, (H2trz)3[Mo6O6(μ2-O)3(μ2-S)3(d/l-Htart)3(Htrz)6]·8H2O (abbreviated as d-1 and l-1; H4tart = tartaric acid, Htrz = 1,2,4-triazole) and (H22-mim)8[Mo4O4(μ2-S)4(d/l-tart)2]2·4H2O (d-2/l-2; H2-mim = 2-methylimidazole), have been isolated in reduced media and well characterized. These enantiomers are observed to finish self-assemblies with single chiral configurations. Structural analyses indicate that tartrates adopt different coordination modes with α-carboxy and/or α-alkoxy groups in 1 and 2, which are further completed with nitrogen-containing ligands. There are two types of micropores that exist in 1 and 2, separately, which are all formed by the isolated molecules themselves. The significant roles of hydrogen bonding among lattice molecules, tartrates, and multi-azoles are suggested, where 1 and 2 exhibited interesting supramolecular networks only through intramolecular self-sorts. Adsorption tests show that 1 has good affinities toward CO2 and O2, while 2 is the most potential O2 adsorbent compared with other common gases CO2, H2, CH4, and N2 under different pressures. In addition, IR, UV-vis, CD (circular dichroism), and solid-state 13C NMR spectroscopies have demonstrated the special chemical properties of these novel molybdenum d/l-tartrates.

Abstract
Pyrazole-assisted tetranuclear microporous polyoxovanadates(III) (POVs) (NH4)2K2[V4(μ2-OH)4(ox)4(pz)4]·9H2O (1, ox = oxalate and pz = pyrazole) and (NH4)2Na2[V4(μ2-OH)4(ox)4(4-mpz)4]·7H2O (2, 4-mpz = 4-methylpyrazole) have been constructed in reduced media, along with their triazole neutral hexa- and octanuclear products K2[V6(μ2-OH)6(ox)6(Hdatrz)6]Cl2·29.5H2O (3) and [V8(μ2-OH)8(SO3)8(Hdatrz)8]·38H2O (4, Hdatrz = 1H-1,2,4-triazole-3,5-diamine) successively. Both polyanionic structures of 1 and 2 share similar inorganic building blocks that consist of regular {V4(μ2-OH)4} skeletons with an inner diameter of 2.8 Å, while a paddle wheel-shaped cluster 3 contains a {V6(μ2-OH)6} skeleton with two chlorides encapsulated around the center of the ring, occupying a hole of 3.7 Å. An interesting isolated intrinsic polyoxometalate-based metal-organic framework (POMOF) 4 exists as an octanuclear petaloid-like skeleton {V8(μ2-OH)8(SO3)8} with an inner diameter of 5.2 Å. Bond valence sum calculations manifest that all V ions have severely reduced +3 oxidation states in 1-4, which are supported by charge balance, structural and magnetic data. Moreover, gas adsorptions indicate that 1, 2 and 4 can adsorb CO2 and O2 more favorably than N2, CH4 and H2 gases. Compared with 1 and 2, due to the functionalization of microchannels with Lewis base amino and hydroxy groups and uncoordinated azolate N-donors inside POMOF 4, it should have notable affinities toward CO2 adsorption.

Abstract
Purpose Recurrent renal cell carcinoma(reRCC) is associated with poor prognosis and the underlying mechanism is not yet clear. A comprehensive understanding of tumor microenvironment (TME) of reRCC may aid in designing effective anticancer therapies, including immunotherapies. Single-cell transcriptomics holds great promise for investigating the TME, however, this technique has not been used in reRCC. Here, we aimed to explore the difference in the TME and gene expression pattern between primary RCC (pRCC) and reRCC at single-cell level. Experimental design We performed single-cell RNA sequencing analyses of 32,073 cells from 2 pRCC, 2 reRCC, and 3 adjacent normal kidney samples. 41 pairs of pRCC and reRCC samples were collected as a validation cohort to assess differences observed in single-cell sequencing. The prognostic significance of related cells and markers were studied in 47 RCC patients underwent immunotherapy. The function of related cells and markers were validated via in vitro and in vivo experiments. Results reRCC had reduced CD8+ T cells but increased cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) infiltration compared with pRCC. Reduced CD8+ T cells and increased CAFs infiltration were significantly associated with a worse response from immunotherapy. Remarkably, CAFs showed substantial expression of LGALS1 (Gal1). In vitro, CAFs could induce CD8+ T cells apoptosis via Gal1. In vivo, knockdown of Gal1 in CAFs suppressed tumor growth, increased CD8+ T cells infiltration, reduced the proportion of apoptotic CD8+ T cells and enhanced the efficacy of immunotherapy. Conclusions We delineated the heterogeneity of reRCC and highlighted an innovative mechanism that CAFs acted as a suppressor of CD8+ T cells via Gal1. Targeting Gal1 combined with anti-PD1 showed promising efficacy in treating RCC.

Abstract
Objective: To assess the relationship between health-related quality of life (HRQOL) and spinal sagittal parameters in patients with degenerative and isthmic spondylolisthesis before and after surgery, and to provide a biomechanical basis for improving the clinical prognosis of such patients. Methods: A retrospective analysis of 63 patients with lumbar spondylolisthesis who received lumbar fusion surgery in the Department of Spine Surgery, Tianjin Union Medical Center from December 2017 to June 2020 was carried out. There were 16 males and 47 females with a mean age of (59±8) years. Subgroup analyses were conducted based on disease type (degenerative lumbar spondylolisthesis (DS) and the isthmic spondylolisthesis (IS)) and HRQOL scores. Patients were evaluated post-operatively to observe the improvement of symptoms and quality of life. The relationship between operative related factors, HRQOL scores before and after surgery, and spino-pelvic sagittal parameters (including sagittal axis of the spine, lumbar lordosis angle, pelvic incidence angle, pelvic tilt angle (PT), sacral tilt angle, matching degree of pelvic incidence angle (PI) and lumbar lordosis angle (LL), lumbar 1 vertebra plumb line, upper lumbar curve, lower lumbar curve) in the two groups were analyzed. The correlation between the improvement of HRQOL scores and spino-pelvic sagittal parameters in the DS group and the IS group was analyzed and compared. Results: There were significant differences between postoperative HRQOL scores compared with those before the operation in both the DS and IS groups at three times of follow-up after the operation (all P<0.05). There was no difference in the last HRQOL score, the number of surgical segments, operation time and intraoperative blood loss between the two groups (all P>0.05). The parameters of PT and PI-LL in DS patients with VAS back pain score>3 and ≤3 were statistically different (13.7°±6.4° vs 26.6°±7.4°, 5.1°±8.2° vs 18.2°±13.1°, respectively, both P<0.05), similar results were obtained in IS patients (14.1°±6.9° vs 16.4°±8.7°, 2.9°±9.7° vs 6.8°±9.8°, respectively, both P<0.05). In addition, the parameters of PT and PI-LL between patients with ODI>20 and ≤20 were all statistically different in the two groups at the last follow-up after surgery (all P<0.05). The improvement of VAS back pain score in DS and IS groups was significantly related to the improvement of PT value, respectively (r=0.76, 0.78, both P<0.05). The PT, LL and PI-LL were significantly correlated with the ODI in the DS group (r=0.60, 0.62, 0.50, all P<0.05). There was also a correlation between the improvement of ODI and PT, LL and PI-LL in the IS group, respectively (r=0.22, 0.41, 0.76, all P<0.05). Conclusions: Certain correlation exists between the HRQOL and spinal sagittal parameters in patients with degenerative and isthmic spondylolisthesis before and after surgery. For the treatment of lumbar spondylolisthesis and improvement of quality of life, the primary goal is to reconstruct the matching degree of the lumbar lordosis angle and PI, and to reduce the PT value to the normal range by tilting the pelvis forward.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the role of tumor budding (TB) in predicting lymph node metastasis of intestinal-type early gastric adenocarcinoma, and to determine the optimal cutoff value of TB number. Methods: A total of 202 patients with intestinal-type early gastric adenocarcinoma, who underwent surgical operation at the Affiliated Wuxi People's Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Jiangsu, China from 2008 to 2018 were included. According to the International Tumor Budding Consensus Conference (ITBCC) criteria, the number of TB for each case was assessed. The receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was employed to determine the optimal cutoff value of TB number for predicting lymph node metastasis, and multivariate logistic regression was used to analyze whether a high TB number was an independent risk factor for lymph node metastasis. In addition, in the patients, who met the indications for endoscopic resection and developed lymph node metastasis, the association of a high number of TB with lymph node metastasis was examined. Results: TBs were observed in 63.4% (128/202) of intestinal-type early gastric adenocarcinomas. Using ROC curve, 4 TBs was found as the optimal cutoff value to predict lymph node metastasis (area under the curve 0.767; sensitivity 0.657; specificity 0.780). Therefore, the 202 cases were divided into two groups: the high-budding (≥4 TBs) group (n=60) and the low-budding (<4 TBs) group (n=142). The high-budding group exhibited a higher rate of lymph node metastasis than that of the low-budding group (41.7% vs 9.1%, P<0.01), and ≥4 TBs was associated with deeper invasion and lymph vessel invasion (P<0.01). The multivariate regression model showed that ≥4 TBs was an independent risk factor for lymph node metastasis (Hazard ratio=8.760, 95%CI 2.648-28.987; P<0.01). Meanwhile, 4 TBs as the cutoff value could better predict lymph node metastasis than the cutoff value advised by the ITBCC. In addition, 3 cases were found to have developed lymph node metastasis even that they met the expanded indications for endoscopic resection, and 2 of these 3 cases exhibited a higher TB number (≥4 TBs). Conclusions: More than 4 TBs are a useful indicator for predicting lymph node metastasis in intestinal-type early gastric adenocarcinoma. It may be used to as an endoscopic resection criterion for patients with a high risk of lymph node metastasis.

Abstract
To investigate the effect of the number of propylene oxide (PO) units on the wettability of surfactants, the wettability of isomeric dodecyl(polyoxyisopropyl)7 sulfate (S-C12PO7S) and isomeric dodecyl(polyoxyisopropyl)13 sulfate (S-C12PO13S) on the surface of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) was investigated. The adsorption behavior on the PMMA surface was analyzed by measuring the surface tension and the contact angle. It is found that the PO group may form hydrogen bonds with the PMMA surface, thus facilitating the hydrophobic tails pointing to the aqueous phase. Moreover, the steric effect of the PO group benefits the formation of semi-micelles above the critical micelle concentration (CMC). Surfactant molecules adsorb on the PMMA surface by polar adsorption below the CMC with hydrophobic tails towards the water. Therefore, the PMMA surface is modified to be more hydrophobic. However, the sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) surfactant with no PO unit does not have hydrophobic modification ability on the PMMA surface. Below the CMC, the adsorption amounts of the S-C12PO7S and S-C12PO13S surfactants at the solid-liquid interface were approximately 1/3 of those at the air-liquid interface. Interestingly, the adsorption behavior changes when the concentration of the surfactants is around the CMC. The hydrophilic heads of the surfactant molecules will point to water, and the surfactant molecules will form semi-micellar aggregates on the PMMA surface. Therefore, the PMMA surface is modified to be hydrophilic above the CMC. What's more, both the hydrophilic modification ability and hydrophobic modification ability of the S-C12PO13S surfactant are stronger than those of the S-C12PO7S surfactant. This means that the number of PO units will affect the wettability ability of the surfactants. Therefore, the S-C12PO13S surfactant possesses smaller contact angles than the S-C12PO7S surfactant at high concentrations.

Abstract
Novel molybdenum(VI/V) POM-based self-constructed frameworks [MoVI 12 O24 (μ2 -O)12 (trz)6 (H2 O)6 ] ⋅ 6Hma ⋅ 18H2 O (1, Htrz=1H-1,2,3-triazole, ma=methylamine), [MoVI 7 O14 (μ2 -O)8 (trz)5 (H2 O)] ⋅ 7Hma ⋅ 5H2 O (2), Na3 [MoV 6 O6 (μ2 -O)9 (Htrz)3 (trz)3 ] ⋅ 7.5H2 O (3) and [MoV 8 O8 (μ2 -O)12 (Htrz)8 ] ⋅ 30H2 O (4) have been covalently decorated with tri-coordinated deprotonated/protonated 1,2,3-triazoles. Channels with an inner diameter of 7.5 Å were found in 1, whereas a tunnel composed of stacking molecules with an inner diameter of 4.1 Å along the b-axis exists in 2; it is occupied by free disordered methylamines, showing selective adsorption of O2 and CO2 at 25 °C. Obvious downfield shifts were observed by 13 C NMR spectroscopies for methylamines inside the confined channels in 1 and 2. There are diversified pores in 3 and 4, which are formed by the molecules themselves and intermolecular accumulations. Adsorption tests indicate that 3 and 4 are fine adsorption materials for CH4 and CO2 under low pressure that rely on the environments built by the POMs. Correspondingly, 1 and 2 display reversible photoresponsive thermochromism that is subtlety influenced by the channels. The polyoxometalate organic frameworks (POMOFs) with multiple functional adsorptions are easy to assemble. Their photo-/thermoresponse properties offer a new pathway for the self-constructions of one-off hybrid materials that possess the good properties of both POMs and MOFs.

Lanthanum aminopolycarboxylates 1–3 have been isolated by gel self-assembly and fully characterized. La-EDTA 3 possesses 5.8 Å diameter tunnels inside the crystals, which can selectively adsorb very small amount of O2 without H2, N2, CH4 and CO2.

Abstract
Objective: To screen and analyze the differentially-expressed genes (DEGs) in primary hepatocellular carcinoma tissues and adjacent tissues using bioinformatics methods to explore the molecular mechanism of the occurrence and prognosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma. Methods: GSE76427 data set was collected through GEO database, and DEGs were identified using GEO2R online analysis. Go and KEGG databases were used for enrichment and functional annotation of DEGs. Protein interaction network was built based on the STRING database and Cytoscape software to analyze the key genes of hepatocellular carcinoma, and the survival curve of these key genes were analyzed using the GEPIA database. Results: A total of 74 hepatocellular carcinoma DEGs were screened, of which 3 and 71 were up-and-down-regulated genes. The results of GO enrichment analysis showed that the down-regulated DEGs were mainly involved in cell response to cadmium and zinc ions, negative growth regulation, heterologous metabolic processes and hormone-mediated signaling pathways. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis results showed that the down-regulated DEGs pathway were mainly involved in retinol metabolism, chemical carcinogenesis, drug metabolism-cytochrome P450, cytochrome P450 metabolizing xenobiotics, tryptophan metabolism and caffeine metabolism. Protein interaction network had screened out 10 down-regulated core genes: MT1G, MT1F, MT1X, MT1E, MT1H, insulin-like growth factor 1, FOS, CXCL12, EGR1, and BGN. Among them, the insulin-like growth factor 1 was related to the prognosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma. Conclusion: Bioinformatics analysis results of HCC chip data showed that 10 key genes may play a key role in the occurrence and development of HCC and the insulin like growth factor 1 is associated with the prognosis of primary hepatocellular carcinoma.

Abstract
The trapped electron states on a pliable lattice have different localization and physical chemistry characteristics. Here, terahertz time-domain measurements suggest that the formation of vanadyl oxygen defect, in the presence of the surface potential traps and mobile charge carriers, leads to a transient charge distribution that forms terahertz radiating dipoles in V2O5. The emergence of radiating dipoles is evidenced by terahertz responses with a two-valley feature of the thermally reduced α-V2O5 (001) thin films in the temperature range of 300-700 K. The two photoconductance valleys on a several millielectron volts interval are related to two emergent split-off traps, which originate from the VO6 octahedra distortion upon the vanadyl oxygen desorption on the surface. The pliable surface lattices plays a decisive role. So long as the α-V2O5 (001) thin films are covered by a 30 nm-thick Al2O3 capping layer, the distinct two-valley feature disappears completely in the full temperature range. The terahertz radiating dipoles with a fine energy structure is potentially a new measure for charge dynamics on the α-V2O5 (001) surface.

Abstract
Objective: To study the proportion and clinicopathological characteristics of gastric adenocarcinoma with enteroblastic differentiation (GAED) in gastric cancers showing an elevated serum alpha fetoprotein(AFP). Methods: A total of 724 resected gastric adenocarcinomas were collected from 2008 to 2018 at the 904 Hospital of Joint Service Support Force, and cases with pre-operative serum AFP>10 μg/L were screened. From the cases with elevated serum AFP, GAED cases were further evaluated based on morphology. Then the clincopathological features and immunohistochemical phenotypes of GAED were reviewed. In addition, the amplification of HER2 gene was detected with fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH). When overall survival (OS) and progression-free survival (PFS) of GAED were analyzed, 289 cases ordinary gastric adenocarcinoma with normal serum AFP were employed as a control. Results: The percentage of GAED was 44% (11/25) in gastric cancers with elevated serum AFP. GAED was histologically tubular or papillary with clear cytoplasm, and some GAED cases showed cystadenoid structure similar to embryo sac (5 cases), homogeneous eosinophilic granules (4 cases) and intragland ulareosinophilic material (6 cases). All 11 GAED cases had lymph node metastasis. Liver metastasis and vascular thrombus were observed in 2 cases and 5 cases respectively. GAED was immunohistochemically positive for CDX2 (11/11), CD10 (8/11) and MUC2(3/11), which were intestinal epithelium differentiation markers. Meanwhile, primitive markers SALL4 (8/11), GPC3 (7/11) and AFP (5/11) were also expressed in GAED, and HER2 gene amplification was found in 3 cases (3/11) of GAED. Lastly, the PFS of GAED were significantly shorter than that of the control group (P=0.02), while OS was not statistically different between these two groups (P=0.99). Conclusions: Patients with GAED usually have a higher rate of elevated serum AFP in gastric adenocarcinoma, and the cancer exhibites features of both intestinal and primitive differentiation. As GAED is highly invasive, the prognosis of GAED may be poor. For GAED, the diagnosis of well-differentiated or moderately-differentiated adenocarcinoma should be avoided, because this diagnosis leads to underestimated malignant potential.

Abstract
Glutamine gets transformed to 2-hydroxy-5-oxoproline with NH4VO3 in a neutral solution as a product of 2,2'-bipyridine oxidovanadium(v) 2-hydroxy-5-oxoproline [VV2O3(hop)2(bpy)2]·7H2O [1, H2hop = 2-hydroxy-5-oxoproline] with yields of 65.6%. Similarly, histidine and arginine are converted into the corresponding α-hydroxycarboxylates as 2,2'-bipyridine oxidovanadium(iv) 3-(1H-imidazolyl-5-yl)-2-hydroxyacrylate [VIV2O2(imha)2(bpy)2]·bpy [2, H2imha = 3-(1H-imidazolyl-5-yl)-2-hydroxyacrylic acid] and guanidinium oxidovanadium(v) 1-(aminoiminomethyl)-2-hydroxyproline (CN3H6)[VVO2(Haimhp)2]·2H2O [3, H2aimhp = 1-(aminoiminomethyl)-2-hydroxyproline] with V2O5 in low yields respectively, where an aggregate of oxidovanadium(v) arginine (H2arg)n(VVO3)n·½nH2O (4, Harg = arginine) has been isolated preferentially in an initial experiment for 3. α-Hydroxycarboxylates chelate bidentately with vanadium viaα-alkoxy and α-carboxy groups in 1-3, as observed from structural analyses. Their racemizations have been observed after the conversions. There is no coordination in 4 based on solid-state 13C NMR spectra, and only strong hydrogen bonds exist in the anion chains (VVO3)- and protonated arginines. 1 and 4 were fully characterized by elemental analysis, UV-vis, IR and solid-state 13C NMR spectroscopies, TG and X-ray structural analyses, and theoretical bond valence calculations (BVS). The conversions of glutamine, histidine and arginine occur spontaneously in a solution under ambient conditions.

Abstract
Isolated octanuclear iron-vanadium malate (NH4)3(CH3NH3)3[FeIII2VIV2VV4O11(mal)6]·7.5H2O (1; H3mal = malic acid) and its family of metal hydrates M'3n[MII(H2O)2]1.5n[FeIII2VIV2VV4O11(mal)6]n·xnH2O (2 or 2-Fe, M' = NH4+, M = Fe, x = 7.5; 3 or 3-Cu, M' = K+, M = Cu, x = 10; 4 or 4-Zn, M' = K+, M = Zn, x = 6.5) have been obtained by self-assembly in water. The cluster anion [Fe2V6O11(mal)6]6- (1a) shows an interesting iron bicapped-triangular-prismatic structure, which is bridged by M2+ hydrates (M = Fe, Cu, Zn) to construct isostructural metal organic frameworks (MOFs) 2-4. The mixed-valence vanadium systems in 1-4 were determined by theoretical bond valence calculations (BVS) and charge balance. The magnetic susceptibilities are further elucidated as high spin for Fe3+ in 1a and bridging Fe2+ in 2-Fe, respectively. A strong ferromagnetic interaction was also observed for 2-Fe at 3 K. 2-Fe, 3-Cu, and 4-Zn have similar hydrophilic channels with diameters of 6.8, 6.5, and 6.6 Å, respectively, which show obvious affinity for O2 in comparison with no adsorption of N2, H2, CO2, and CH4 at room temperature under different pressures. Moreover, 2-Fe and 4-Zn exhibit irreversible O2 absorptions, which may be attributed to charge transfer between O2 and open metal sites (OMSs) formed during vacuum heating pretreatment. UV-vis and EPR spectra show a change in electronic structure of 2-Fe after O2 adsorption. The reversible adsorption observed in 3-Cu suggests a weak interaction between O2 and Cu2+ due to the Jahn-Teller effect. The properties of gas adsorption provide an insight into the performances of small molecules in the channels constructed by synthetic octanuclear model compounds, which are related to the interactions between the gas substrate and the heterometal cluster in biology.

Abstract
The adsorption and wetting on quartz surfaces by aqueous solutions of xylyl-substituted biquaternary ammonium salt gemini surfactants with different spacer groups (C3 and C6), have been investigated. The interfacial properties of surfactant solutions such as contact angle, adhesional tension (γLV cos θ), quartz-water interfacial tension (γSL) as well as adhesion work (WA) have been estimated. The obtained results show that C3 and C6 have similar adsorption behavior on quartz surfaces. Before critical micelle concentration (cmc) is reached, the contact angles of gemini surfactants slowly increase with the increasing concentration, and the adsorption amount at the water-air interface is almost the same as those at a quartz-water interface. After reaching cmc, the gemini surfactant Cn molecules form a more compact adsorption film through bending the flexible spacer chain, instead of forming a bi-layer. As a result, a further increase in quartz-liquid interfacial tension (γSL) and a consequent increase in contact angle have been observed after cmc. Gemini C6 shows a stronger ability towards hydrophobic modification at a quartz surface than C3, demonstrating the contribution of the longer methylene spacer to the hydrophobic modification of the quartz surface.

Abstract
Objective: This study analyzes the expression level of miR-1180-3p and constructs the regulatory network of relevant ceRNA by integrating the DNA methylation and gene expression profile of hepatocellular carcinoma from the Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA). Methods: Firstly, the expression level of miR-1180-3p in hepatocellular carcinoma and adjacent tissues was analyzed by TCGA database, and the differential expression of lncrna and mRNA was screened. Secondly, the LncBase database and the TargetScan database were used to predict the relationship between miR-1180-3p and lncRNA and mRNA, and the DNA methylation-mediated lncRNA was screened by the DNA methylation profile of lncRNA. Finally, Cytoscape software was used to construct miR-1180-3p relevant ceRNA network, and WebGestalt website was used to perform GO and KEGG analysis of related mRNA in ceRNA. Results: Compared with patients with low expression of miR-1180-3p (mean overall survival duration, 5.69 ± 0.35 years), patients with high expression of miR-1180-3p had shorter overall survival time (mean overall survival duration, 3.99 ± 0.47 years), indicating that the high expression of miR-1180-3p was hepatocellular carcinoma risk factor affecting the prognosis (HR = 1.28, 95% CI = 1.1 ~ 1.5, P < 0.01). A miR-1180-3p related ceRNA regulatory network was constructed in this study, which contained 2 lncRNAs (F11-AS1 and LINC01511) and 37 mRNAs. Conclusion: This study has successfully constructed miR-1180-3p relevant ceRNA regulatory network, and DNA methylation-mediated F11-AS1 and F11-AS1/miR-1180-3p/C11of54 ceRNA regulatory axis has played an important role in the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma.

Abstract
Selective liquid and gas adsorptions are important for environmental control and industrial processes. Here, unique porous lanthanide-organic frameworks of [Ln2(1,3-pdta)2(H2O)2]n2n- {Ln = La (1), Ce (2), Pr (3), and Nd (4), 1,3-pdta = CH2[CH2N(CH2CO2H)2]2} are template-synthesized by 1,2-ethylenediamine and fully characterized, which possess hydrophobic and hydrophilic open channels simultaneously. The skeletons are stable up to 200 °C. Obvious downfield shifts have been observed for 1,2-ethylenediamine in the confined channel with solid-state 13C NMR measurement. The ammonium salt is directly used for the removal of 1,2-ethylenediamine in water. Its saturated adsorption capacity is reached in <1 min and can be regenerated easily with a similar uptake capacity. Moreover, the materials can also selectively adsorb O2, CH4, and CO2, respectively, which is useful for CO2/CH4, CO2/H2, and O2/N2 separation. The combined hydrophobic and hydrophilic open channels of the lanthanides make them promising functional materials for the elimination of 1,2-ethylenediamine and gas separations.

Abstract
1,2-Propanediaminetetraacetic acid (H4pdta = C11H18O8N2) is degraded selectively to 1-methyl-1,2-propanediaminetriacetic acid (H3pd3a = C9H16O6N2) with a yield of 75% at room temperature, while N-(2-hydroxyethyl) ethylenediaminetriacetic acid (H4eed3a = C10H18O7N2) is converted with difficulty to ethylenediaminetriacetic acid (H3ed3a = C8H14O6N2) on peroxotitanates(iv), showing the influence of the uncoordinated leaving group. Various species in the reaction sequence are isolated and fully characterized, including (NH4)[Ti(O2)(Hpdta)]·H2O (1), (NH4)3[Ti(O2)(pdta)H(pdta)(O2)Ti]·7H2O (2), (NH4)[Ti(O2)(pd3a)]·H2O (3) and (NH4)[Ti(O2)(Heed3a)]·H2O (5). Peroxo dimer 2 forms a strong intramolecular hydrogen bond [2.451(3) Å] as an intermediate in the peroxo Ti-pdta system, which results in the absence of a fully deprotonated species of peroxo pdta titanate. A catalytic reaction of the peroxo titanate (NH4)3[Ti(O2)(pdta)H(pdta)(O2)Ti]·7H2O (2) for the conversion of pyridine to pyridine N-oxide shows 94% conversion at 80 °C.

Swine acute diarrhea syndrome coronavirus (SADS-CoV) is a newly identified enteric alphacoronavirus that causes fatal diarrhea in newborn piglets in China. Here, we propagated a virulent strain SADS-CoV/CN/GDWT/2017 in Vero cells for up to 83 passages. Four strains of SADS-CoV/GDWT-P7, -P18, -P48 and -P83 were isolated and characterized. Sequence alignments showed that these four novel strains exhibited 16 nucleotide mutations and resultant 10 amino acid substitutions in open reading frame 1a/1b, spike, NS3a, envelope, membrane and nucleocapsid proteins. Furthermore, a 58-bp deletion in NS7a/7b was found in P48 and P83 strains, which led to the loss of NS7b and 38 amino acid changes of NS7a. Pig infection studies showed that the P7 strain caused typical watery diarrhea, while the P83 strain induced none-to-mild, delayed and transient diarrhea. This is the first report on cell adaption of a virulent SADS-CoV strain, which gives information on the potential virulence determinants of SADS-CoV.

Abstract
N-Oxido copper(ii) ethylenediaminetetraacetate Na4n[Cu2(edtaO2)2(H2O)4]n·13nH2O (2) (H4edta = ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, C10H16O8N2) and N-oxido copper(ii) 1,3-propanediaminetetraacetate Na5nOn[Cu2(HpdtaO2)2Cl]n·12.5nH2O (4) (H4pdta = 1,3-propanediaminetetraacetic acid, C11H18O8N2) were obtained from the reactions of copper(ii) edta and pdta respectively with hydrogen peroxide. The copper ions in 2 and 4 are hexa-coordinated by edtaO2 or pdtaO2 ligands, forming 1D chain structures. Further reactions of 2 and 4 at lower pH values result in the isolation of copper(ii) iminodiacetate K[Cu(ida)(H2O)2Cl] (3) (H2ida = iminodiacetate acid, C4H7O4N) and copper(ii) propanediaminediacetate [Cu2(pdda)2]n·nH2O (5) (H2pdda = propanediaminediacetic acid, C7H10O4N2), respectively, which show the selective degradation of ethylenediaminetetraacetate and propanediaminetetraacetate.

Abstract
The adsorption of xylyl-substituted biquaternary ammonium salt Gemini surfactants with different spacer (C3 and C6) at polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) surfaces has been investigated and the different adsorption parameters such as surface tension, contact angle, adhesional tension, solid-water interfacial tension and work of adhesion have been estimated. The results show that C3 and C6 have similar adsorption behaviors at PTFE and PMMA surfaces. C3 and C6 adsorb gradually at a PFTE-water interface via hydrophobic interactions and the adsorption amounts at the water-air interface are almost three times higher than those at the PTFE-water interface due to the steric hindrance effect. However, the contact angle keeps constant throughout the experimental concentration range because the decrease in surface tension just counterbalances the decrease in PFTE-water interfacial tension. On the other hand, C3 and C6 adsorb at the PMMA surface via polar interactions between xylyl and functional groups of PMMA before CMC. Similar to PTFE, the increase in PMMA-water interfacial tension compensates the decrease in surface tension and the contact angle also shows a stationary value before the CMC. A bi-layer structure of C3 and C6 will be formed at the PMMA-water interface via hydrophobic interaction and PMMA-water interfacial tension decreases consequently after the CMC, which results in the decrease in contact angle.

Abstract
Objective: To study the efficacy, safety and long-term outcomes of integrated strategy of bortezomib-based induction regimens followed by autologous hematopoietic stem cell (ASCT) and maintenance therapy in Chinese multiple myeloma (MM) patients. Methods: 200 MM patients receiving integrated strategy of bortezomib--based induction regimens followed by ASCT and maintenance therapy were retrospectively and prospectively analyzed from December 1. 2006 to April 30. 2018. Results: The complete remission rates (CR) and better than very good partial remission rates (VGPR) after induction therapy, transplantation and maintenance therapy were respectively 31% and 75.5%, 51.8% and 87.7%,73.6% and 93.4%. There was no difference between 4 cycles and more than 5 cycles induction chemotherapy. The negative rate of MRD detection by flow cytometry was 17.6% and 38.2% respectively after induction and 3 months after transplantation. The negative rate of MRD gradually increased during the maintenance therapy. The success rate of high dose CTX combined with G-CSF mobilization was 95.5% and transplantation related mortality (TRM) was zero. The median time to progress (TTP) was 75.3 months and the median overall survival (OS) was 99.5 months. TTP of patients obtaining CR and negative MRD after induction were longer that those of no CR and positive MRD. TTP and OS of patients receiving triple-drug induction and ASCT in early stage were longer than those of double-drug induction and ASCT in late stage. LDH≥240 U/L, high risk cytogenetics, ISS II+III stage and HBsAg positive were prognostic factors at diagnosis. However, only MRD and high risk cytogenetics were independent prognostic factors after transplantation and maintenance therapy. The clinical characteristics of patients of TTP ≥6 years were listed below: light-chain type M protein, ISS I stage, normal level of hemoglobin and platelet, normal LDH, HBsAg negative, chromosome 17p-negative, good response and sustained good response. Conclusions: Integrated strategy of bortezomib-based induction regimens followed by ASCT and maintenance therapy can significantly improve the short-term and long-term efficacy. The prognostic factors of TTP in different disease stages were different. Response to treatment, especially MRD, played a more important role in prognostic factors.
