Abstract
It is widely recognized that cancer itself is related to increased risk of thromembolism. Venous thromboembolism is relatively common in breast cancer patients, but arterial thrombosis, especially acute superior mesenteric artery thrombosis (SMAT) associated with chemotherapy or endocrinotherapy, rarely occurs in breast cancer patients. There were few reports about acute SMAT in cancer patients who underwent chemotherapy, but no reports of acute SMAT caused by endocrine-therapy. We reported a 54-year-old patient with acute SMAT during toremifene treatment after breast cancer surgery. She underwent 4 cycles chemotherapy of TC regimen, then accepted toremifen endocrinotherapy because of positive estrogen receptor. She suffered from acute SMAT after 2 months toremifen treatment. Therefore, we consider that this case of acute SMAT may be a rare adverse event of toremifen. In view of the high risk and rarity of acute SMAT caused by toremifene, we suggest that except for venous thrombosis, arterial thrombosis in special position (ATSP) should be kept in mind during use of toremifene. Once a thrombotic event occurs, toremifene should be stopped immediately.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Vascular complications like superior mesenteric artery (SMA) thrombosis and pancreaticoduodenal artery (PDA) pseudoaneurysm carry high morbidity and mortality. SMA provides the primary arterial supply to the small intestine and ascending colon. PDA aneurysms are extremely rare, accounting for only 2 % of all visceral artery aneurysms. We present a rare case of SMA thrombosis with concomitant PDA pseudoaneurysm. CASE PRESENTATION Herein is the case of a 60-year-old male who presented with rectorrhagia, persistent generalized abdominal pain. After being diagnosed with colitis and mesenteric artery thrombosis based on a computed tomography (CT) scan, he was discharged from the hospital with rivaroxaban and mesalazin. However, he had to return to the hospital due to worsening of the symptoms. After a proper workout, SMA artery thrombosis with a concomitant PDA pseudoaneurysm was diagnosed for him. Therefore, he underwent surgery to stent the thrombosis and coil the pseudoaneurysm. His symptoms dramatically improved after the treatment. DISCUSSION Angiography is the diagnostic and, with embolization, therapeutic procedure of choice, with surgery as a backup if embolization fails. However, even with these procedures, the mortality rate is high if the pseudoaneurysm ruptures. CONCLUSION In order to carry out the proper choice of surgical treatment before further complications occur, SMA thrombosis and PDA pseudoaneurysms must be investigated in each patient presenting with nonspecific abdominal pain, regardless of the risk factors.

Abstract
Mesenteric ischemia is an uncommon condition with very high mortality rates characterized by inadequate blood supply, inflammatory injury, and subsequent necrosis of the bowel wall. Acute arterial mesenteric ischemia is usually caused by cardiac emboli, atherosclerotic vascular disease, aortic aneurysm, or dissection. We report a case of a 60-year-old male who presented to the accident and emergency department complaining of abdominal pain following blunt abdominal trauma. An urgent contrast enhanced computed tomography scan demonstrated superior mesenteric artery thrombosis with ischemic small bowel. Surgical intervention was carried out with resection of the necrotic bowel followed by anastomosis. Acute occlusive mesenteric ischemia needs to be considered in cases of blunt trauma presenting with abdominal pain. Proper early diagnosis and management is essential as it carries a high risk of morbidity and mortality.

Abstract
We report a successful case that offered a symbolic therapeutic experience of interventional radiology and surgery collaboration for superior mesenteric artery thrombosis. A 70-year-old man presented with a chief complaint of sudden abdominal pain. Contrast-enhanced computed tomography revealed superior mesenteric artery thrombosis. Interventional radiology was performed, and thrombotic occlusion was observed in the superior mesenteric artery trunk. The abdominal pain disappeared; however, after a while, the thrombus re-formed and the abdominal pain reappeared. Thus, emergency surgery was performed. Before surgery, thrombus aspiration was performed via interventional radiology as much as possible. During surgery, when the blood flow was evaluated using fluorescence with indocyanine green, a region of markedly poor blood flow was detected in the ileum, and the area was excised. The postoperative course was favorable. In this patient, it is possible that preoperative removal of the thrombus via interventional radiology minimized the ischemic area of the intestinal tract, and blood flow evaluation using indocyanine green allowed reliable excision of only the ischemic area. We believe that our case involved a treatment that exploited the advantages of both interventional radiology and surgery using indocyanine green fluorescence.

Abstract
Since the emergence of novel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP), a number of reports have pointed out an increased coagulation activity in these patients mostly during acute phase of the disease. We are reporting a case of acute superior mesenteric thrombosis in a 55-year-old man with NCP 1 week after hospital discharge. He returned to the emergency department 7 days later with severe acute abdominal pain and found to have superior mesenteric artery thrombosis. He subsequently underwent emergent exploratory laparotomy, superior mesenteric artery thrombectomy, and bowel resection. Acute arterial thrombosis may occur in the posthospitalization period in patients with NCP.

Abstract
PURPOSE OF REVIEW Mesenteric ischemia (MI), both acute (AMI) and chronic (CMI), is a challenging diagnosis to make, and early diagnosis and treatment are vital to improve outcomes. This manuscript summarizes the most up to date information on diagnosis and treatment of these disorders. RECENT FINDINGS There have been several significant advancements in the computed tomography (CT) diagnostic imaging as well as medical and endovascular management of AMI and CMI. In appropriate populations, endovascular interventions appear superior to open surgical management with lower mortality, morbidity, and cost of care. Efficient clinical identification and targeted testing are essential to diagnose AMI and CMI. Aggressive resuscitation and early endovascular (or in select cases, surgical) intervention improve outcomes in those with AMI. In those with CMI, considering this on the differential diagnosis and imaging appropriately can identify those that might benefit from intervention and halt progression to acute episodes.
