Abstract
BACKGROUND Previous observational studies have suggested the association between rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and frailty. However, it remains obscure whether this association is causal. This study aims to investigate the causal association of RA with frailty and the mediation effect of inflammatory cytokines using Mendelian randomization (MR) design. METHODS Summary-level data for RA (N = 58,284), frailty index (FI) (N = 175,226), Fried frailty score (FFS) (N = 386,565), and 41 inflammatory cytokines (N = 8,293) were obtained from recent genome-wide association studies. Univariable and multivariable MR analyses were conducted to investigate and verify the causal association of RA with frailty. The potential mediation effects of inflammatory cytokines were estimated using two-step MR. RESULTS Univariable inverse variance weighted MR analysis suggested that genetically determined RA was associated with increased FI (beta=0.021; 95 % CI: 0.012, 0.03; p = 2.2 × 10-6) and FFS (beta=0.011; 95 %CI: 0.007, 0.015; p = 8.811 × 10-8). The consistent results were observed in multivariable MR analysis after adjustment for asthma, smoking, BMI, physical activity, telomere length, and depression. Mediation analysis showed evidence of an indirect effect of RA on FI through monokine induced by interferon-gamma (MIG) with a mediated proportion of 9.8 % (95 %CI: 4.76 %, 19.05 %), on FFS via MIG and stromal cell-derived factor-1 alpha with a mediated proportion of 9.6 % (95 %CI: 0 %, 18.18 %) and 8.44 % (95 %CI: 0 %, 18.18 %), respectively. CONCLUSION This study provided credible evidence that genetically predicted RA was associated with a higher risk of frailty. Additionally, inflammatory cytokines were involved in the mechanism of RA-induced frailty.

Abstract
CsPbI3 perovskite receives tremendous attention for photovoltaic applications due to its ideal band gap and good thermal stability. However, CsPbI3 perovskite solar cells (PSCs) significantly suffer from photovoltage deficits because of serious interfacial energy losses within the PSCs, which to a large extent affects the photovoltaic performance of PSCs. Herein, a dipolar chemical bridge (DCB) is constructed between the perovskite and TiO2 layers to lower interfacial energy losses and thus improve the charge extraction of PSCs. The results reveal that the DCB could form a beneficial interfacial dipole between the perovskite and TiO2 layers, which could optimize the interfacial energetics of perovskite/TiO2 layers and thus improve the energy level alignment within the PSCs. Meanwhile, the constructed DCB could also simultaneously passivate the surface defects of perovskite and TiO2 layers, greatly lowering interfacial recombination. Consequently, the photovoltage deficit of CsPbI3 PSCs is largely reduced, leading to a record efficiency of 21.86 % being realized. Meanwhile, the operation stability of PSCs is also largely improved due to the high-quality perovskite films with released interfacial tensile strain being obtained after forming the DCB within the PSCs.

Abstract
The goal of achieving elimination of schistosomiasis across all endemic counties in China by 2030 was proposed in the Outline of the Healthy China 2030 Plan. On June 16, 2023, the Action Plan to Accelerate the Elimination of Schistosomiasis in China (2023-2030) was jointly issued by National Disease Control and Prevention Administration and other 10 ministries, which deployed the targets and key tasks of the national schistosomiasis elimination programme in China. This article describes the progress of the national schistosomiasis control programme, analyzes the opportunities to eliminate schistosomiasis, and proposes targeted recommendations to tackle the challenges of schistosomiasis elimination, so as to accelerate the process towards schistosomiasis elimination and facilitate the building of a healthy China.

[Analysis of clinical manifestations and prognosis of primary systemic light chain amyloidosis with liver involvement]. Abstract
Objective: To summarize the clinical manifestations and prognostic factors of patients with hepatic amyloidosis in a single center. Methods: The clinical data of 28 primary systemic light chain amyloidosis cases with liver involvement in our center from October 2012 to January 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The main clinical manifestations and prognostic factors were studied. Statistical analysis were performed using the χ(2) test, Fisher's exact test, Wilcoxon rank test, or Kaplan-Meier survival curve log-rank test according to the different data. Results: The main clinical manifestations of patients with liver involvement were abdominal distension, hepatomegaly, and edema. CD56 and chemokine receptor 4 protein expression accounted for 52% (13/25) and 56% (14/25). 64.3% (9/14) patients were combined with t (11,14), and 21.4% (3/14) patients were positive for 1q21 (+), and no patients were detected with del(17p). Univariate analysis showed that Mayo 2004 and 2012 stages and total bilirubin (TBil) ≥34.2 μmol/L were associated with progression-free survival and overall survival. The median progression-free survival and overall survival were significantly inferior in patients with TBil≥34.2μmol/L group (0.178 years, 0.195 years) than with the TBil<34.2μmol/L group (0.750 years, 3.586 years) (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Mayo stage and hyperbilirubinemia are inferior prognostic factors for patients with primary systemic light chain amyloidosis accompanied with liver involvement.

Abstract
PURPOSE Previous observational studies have suggested an association between sleep disturbance and metabolic syndrome (MetS). However, it remains unclear whether this association is causal. This study aims to investigate the causal effects of sleep-related traits on MetS using Mendelian randomization (MR). METHODS Single-nucleotide polymorphisms strongly associated with daytime napping, insomnia, chronotype, short sleep, and long sleep were selected as genetic instruments from the corresponding genome-wide association studies (GWAS). Summary-level data for MetS were obtained from two independent GWAS datasets. Univariable and multivariable MR analyses were conducted to investigate and verify the causal effects of sleep traits on MetS. RESULTS The univariable MR analysis demonstrated that genetically predicted daytime napping and insomnia were associated with increased risk of MetS in both discovery dataset (OR daytime napping = 1.630, 95% CI 1.273, 2.086; OR insomnia = 1.155, 95% CI 1.108, 1.204) and replication dataset (OR daytime napping = 1.325, 95% CI 1.131, 1.551; OR insomnia = 1.072, 95% CI 1.046, 1.099). For components, daytime napping was positively associated with triglycerides (beta = 0.383, 95% CI 0.160, 0.607) and waist circumference (beta = 0.383, 95% CI 0.184, 0.583). Insomnia was positively associated with hypertension (OR = 1.101, 95% CI 1.042, 1.162) and waist circumference (beta = 0.067, 95% CI 0.031, 0.104). The multivariable MR analysis indicated that the adverse effect of daytime napping and insomnia on MetS persisted after adjusting for BMI, smoking, drinking, and another sleep trait. CONCLUSION Our study supported daytime napping and insomnia were potential causal factors for MetS characterized by central obesity, hypertension, or elevated triglycerides.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the efficacy and safety of first-line treatment with an anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody regimen for primary plasma cell leukemia (pPCL). Methods: Patients diagnosed with pPCL from December 1st, 2018 to July 26th, 2023, receiving first-line treatment of anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody-based regimens across multiple centers including Peking University People's Hospital, Fuxing Hospital of Capital Medical University, Qingdao Municipal Hospital, Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University, Handan Central Hospital, the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University and General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University were consecutively included. A total of 24 pPCL patients were included with thirteen being male and eleven being female. The median age [M(Q1, Q3)] was 60 (57, 70) years. Patients were grouped according to peripheral blood plasma cell (PBPC) percentage [5%-19% (n=14) vs ≥20% (n=10)]. Last follow-up date was September 26th, 2023. The median follow-up period was 9.1 (4.2, 15.5) months. Patients' data related with clinical baseline characteristics, efficacy, survival and safety were retrospectively collected. Cox proportional hazards regression model was used to analyze risk factors associated with survival. Results: Among 24 pPCL patients, 16 (66.7%) patients had anemia at diagnosis, 13(54.2%) patients had thrombocytopenia, 8 (33.3%) patients had a baseline estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR)<40 ml·min-1·(1.73m2)-1, 13 (54.2%) patients had elevated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels. The median PBPC percentage was 16% (8%, 26%) . Fluorescence in situ hybridization testing indicated that patients harboring 17p deletion, t(4;14) or t(14;16) were 6 (25.0%), 4 (16.7%) and 4 (16.7%), respectively. The overall response rate was 83.3% (20/24). The median progression-free survival (PFS) was 20.5 (95%CI: 15.8-25.2) months, and the median overall survival (OS) was not reached. Estimated 1-year and 2-year PFS and OS rates were 75.0% and 89.1%, 37.5% and 53.4%, respectively. The median PFS and OS for patients with PBPC percentages 5%-19% and≥20% were not reached and 20.5 (95%CI:15.7-25.3) months, 17.8 months and not reached, respectively. There was no significant statistical difference of PFS and OS between two groups (all P>0.05). Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that 1p32 deletion was the risk factor associated with PFS (HR=7.7, 95%CI: 1.1-54.9, P=0.043). Seventeen patients (70.8%) developed grade 3-4 hematologic toxicities. Twelve patients (50.0%) developed grade 3-4 thrombocytopenia. Sixteen patients (66.7%) developed infection. All hematologic toxicities and infections were improved after supportive treatment. Conclusion: First-line treatment with anti-CD38 monoclonal antibody-based therapy for pPCL is effective and safe.

Abstract
Background Massive hemoptysis during pregnancy is very rare. Dieulafoy's disease is one of the causes of massive hemoptysis. There are few reports of ECMO use to treat massive hemoptysis during pregnancy. Findings We report for the first time a patient with Dieulafoy's disease diagnosed at 29 weeks of pregnancy. The patient's hemoptysis occurred rapidly with large volumes. The bleeding amount reached 500 ml within half an hour, with the development of asphyxia and respiratory and cardiac arrest due to a blood clot blocking the airway. After successful cardiopulmonary resuscitation, the ventilator could not maintain effective ventilation. Emergency establishment of VV-ECMO was performed to maintain oxygen, and hemostasis was successfully achieved by performing bronchial artery embolization twice. We successfully cleaned blood clots in the airway four times by freezing and using a foreign body retrieval basket with an electronic bronchoscope. At the same time, small and smooth nodular lesions were found under bronchoscopy, and blood vessels with a diameter of 1.5 mm were found under Doppler mode with an ultrasonic bronchoscope, which was consistent with a diagnosis of Dieulafoy's disease. VV-ECMO was successfully stopped on the 3rd day of the disease course, tracheal intubation was successfully removed on the 5th day of the disease course, and the patient was discharged with no complications on the 16th day of the disease course.

Abstract
Hidradenocarcinoma is a rare malignancy of sweat gland differentiation. It is known for its high rate of recurrence and metastasis, which has a serious impact on human health and aesthetics. However, the treatment options for this disease are limited, making prompt and appropriate treatment is a daunting challenge. In this report, we present the first successful cure of hidradenocarcinoma using 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT) combined with local narrow margin excision on the left side of the forehead in an elderly woman. No recurrence during one year of follow-up after the combined therapy. This case will provide a valuable reference for more efficient management of similar cases in clinic.

Abstract
Cutaneous Rosai-Dorfman disease(CRDD) is an extremely rare entity and features histiocytic proliferation in the skin. Dermoscopy and reflectance confocal microscopy(RCM) reports on CRDD are rare. We reported a case of CRDD and summarized the dermoscopy(FotoFinder Medicare 800HD, FotoFinder-Systems GmbH, Birbach Germany) and RCM(VivaScope® 1500, V Caliber Imaging and Diagnostics) features of CRDD. The dermoscopic features of CRDD showed red-orange background with pale yellowish roundish areas similar to millet, surrounded by branched blood vessels. Sometimes the white structureless materials of CRDD could be observed by dermoscopy, which may be a hint of spontaneous regression. The RCM features of CRDD revealed dense highly refractile roundish or ovoid structures(inflammatory cells), and multiple larger structures with central low refraction and moderately refractive peripheral semicircle or circle(engulfed inflammatory cells), together with low refractive branched structures(blood vessels). Dermoscopic and RCM features of CRDD can help the dermatologists recognize and follow-up the disease in real time.

[Efficacy and safety analysis of a combination regimen with BCL-2 inhibitor in relapsed/refractory primary systemic light chain amyloidosis with t(11;14) from a single center]. Abstract
Objective: To explore the efficacy and safety of BCL-2 inhibitor-based treatment in patients with relapsed/refractory t (11; 14) primary systemic light chain amyloidosis. Methods: This was a retrospective case series study. Ten patients with relapsed/refractory t(11;14) primary systemic light chain amyloidosis who had all received treatment with a combination regimen including the BCL-2 inhibitor venetoclax from January 2018 to November 2022 at the Hematology Department of Peking University People's Hospital were included. Adverse events, and hematological and organ responses were evaluated. Results: The median age of the ten enrolled patients was 59 (range 41-78) years, and the male to female ratio was 8∶2. Except for one patient, a very good partial or better response was achieved in 8/9 patients and one patient obtained a partial response. The overall response rate was 100%. The median time to achieve a hematological response was 60 (range 24-236) days. At least one organ response was observed in 7/9 patients. With a median follow-up of 18 months, one patient experienced hematological progression and one patient died. Grade 3 adverse events included lymphocytopenia (3 cases), anemia (1 case), diarrhea (1 case), and appendicitis (1 case). One patient died of pulmonary fungal infection two months after completion of treatment, which was not excluded as being treatment related. Conclusion: A combination regimen including BCL-2 inhibitors in patients with relapsed/refractory t(11;14) primary systemic light chain amyloidosis is a potentially safe and effective treatment option that warrants further investigation.

Abstract
Purpose Long-acting inhalers are the mainstay maintenance therapy for stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management. The aim of this study was to assess adherence to inhalers among adults with COPD in China and to develop strategies to improve adherence for the next step. Patients and Methods A cross-sectional study was conducted among 246 adult patients with COPD using long-acting inhalers to explore different demographic characteristics, disease characteristics and medication regimens. Adherence to inhalers was assessed using the Medication Adherence Report Scale (MARS). Results Among the 246 patients included in the present study, 93 (37.80%) had good adherence, while 153 (62.20%) had poor adherence. From the comparison of patients with good and poor adherence, we found that the course of disease and education background had a significant effect on adherence (p < 0.05). Among the LAMA therapy group, inhaled tiotropium bromide spray (Ingelheim am Rhein, Germany) with active release technology had better adherence than inhaled tiotropium bromide powder (Ingelheim am Rhein, Germany) (p < 0.05). Moreover, COPD patients with good adherence had better pulmonary function and fewer moderate or severe exacerbations in the past year (p < 0.05). Conclusion The factors affecting the use of inhalers in patients with stable COPD are complicated. Medical staff should select appropriate inhalers according to the patient's disease status and duration and provide medication education to improve adherence.

Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is the most common opportunistic infection in patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) caused by human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection and is one of the primary causes of death from AIDS. The increased accessibility to highly active antiretroviral therapy (HAART) has significantly improved the clinical outcome of patients with HIV infection. However, following ART, rapid restoration of the immune system leads to immune reconstitution inflammatory syndrome (IRIS). Oxidative stress and innate immunity play a role in TB-associated IRIS (TB-IRIS). The present study investigated the changes that occur in oxidative stress markers and T helper (Th)17/regulatory T (Treg) cell balance and their significance in IRIS patients with HIV-associated pulmonary TB. A total of 316 patients with HIV-associated pulmonary TB were treated with HAART and followed up regularly for 12 weeks. Those who developed IRIS were included in the IRIS group (n=60), while the remaining patients were included in the non-IRIS group (n=256). The changes in plasma oxidative stress markers superoxide dismutase (SOD) and malondialdehyde (MDA) were detected with the ELISA, and the ratio of Th17 to Treg cells in whole blood were analyzed before and after treatment through the flow cytometric assay. Following treatment, MDA and Th17 cells levels were significantly increased while SOD and Treg cells levels were decreased in the IRIS group (P<0.05) compared with before treatment. In the non-IRIS group, a non-significant decrease was observed in SOD levels (P>0.05), while the MDA levels significantly decreased compared with before treatment (P<0.05) and the Th17 and Treg cells levels were both significantly increased (P<0.05). After treatment, compared with the non-IRIS group, the IRIS group showed a significant increase in MDA and Th17 cells and decrease in SOD and Treg cells levels (P<0.05). In addition, Th17 cells levels were positively correlated with MDA but negatively correlated with SOD levels. Treg levels were negatively correlated with MDA and positively correlated with SOD levels (P<0.05). The area under the curve values of serum MDA and SOD, Th17 and Treg levels predicting the occurrence of IRIS were 0.738, 0.883, 0.722 and 0.719, respectively (P<0.05). These results indicated that the above parameters have certain diagnostic value for the occurrence of IRIS. Abstract
Significance Collagen and lipid are important components of tumor microenvironments (TME) and participates in tumor development and invasion. It has been reported that collagen and lipid can be used as a hallmark to diagnosis and differentiate tumors. Aim We aim to introduce photoacoustic spectral analysis (PASA) method that can provide both the content and structure distribution of endogenous chromophores in biological tissues to characterize the tumor-related features for identifying different types of tumors. Approach Ex vivo human tissues with suspected squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), suspected basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and normal tissue were used in this study. The relative lipid and collagen contents in the TME were assessed based on the PASA parameters and compared with histology. Support vector machine (SVM), one of the simplest machine learning tools, was applied for automatic skin cancer type detection. Results The PASA results showed that the lipid and collagen levels of the tumors were significantly lower than those of the normal tissue, and there was a statistical difference between SCC and BCC (p < 0.05 ), consistent with the histopathological results. The SVM-based categorization achieved diagnostic accuracies of 91.7% (normal), 93.3% (SCC), and 91.7% (BCC). Conclusions We verified the potential use of collagen and lipid in the TME as biomarkers of tumor diversity and achieved accurate tumor classification based on the collagen and lipid content using PASA. The proposed method provides a new way to diagnose tumors.

Abstract
An imbalance in ROS (reactive oxidative species) and the antioxidant barrier regulates the process of tumorigenesis. GSH has a key effect in preventing cells from oxidative damage by scavenging ROS. The role of CHAC2, an enzyme regulating GSH, in lung adenocarcinoma remains unknown. Here, RNA sequencing data analysis and immunohistochemistry (IHC) assays of lung adenocarcinoma and normal lung tissues were used to verify the expression of CHAC2. The effect of CHAC2 on the proliferation abilities of lung adenocarcinoma cells was examined using a series of overexpression or knockout assays. RNA sequencing and IHC results showed that the expression level of CHAC2 in lung adenocarcinoma was higher than that in normal lung tissues. CCK-8, colony formation and subcutaneous xenograft experiments in BALB/c nude mice showed that in vitro and in vivo CHAC2 promoted the growth capacity of lung adenocarcinoma cells. Subsequent immunoblot, immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry experiments showed that CHAC2 increased ROS by reducing GSH in lung adenocarcinoma and that the elevated ROS activated the MAPK pathway. Our investigation identified a new role for CHAC2 and elucidated the mechanism by which CHAC2 promotes lung adenocarcinoma progression.

Abstract
Hydrogen energy is a zero-carbon replacement for fossil fuels. However, hydrogen is highly flammable and explosive hence timely sensitive leak detection is crucial. Existing optical sensing techniques rely on complex instruments, while electrical sensing techniques usually operate at high temperatures and biasing condition. In this paper an on-chip plasmonic-catalytic hydrogen sensing concept with a concentration detection limit down to 1 ppm is presented that is based on a metal-insulator-semiconductor (MIS) nanojunction operating at room temperature and zero bias. The sensing signal of the device was enhanced by three orders of magnitude at a one-order of magnitude higher response speed compared to alternative non-plasmonic devices. The excellent performance is attributed to the hydrogen induced interfacial dipole charge layer and the associated plasmonic hot electron modulated photoelectric response. Excellent agreements were achieved between experiment and theoretical calculations based on a quantum tunneling model. Such an on-chip combination of plasmonic optics, photoelectric detection and photocatalysis offers promising strategies for next-generation optical gas sensors that require high sensitivity, low time delay, low cost, high portability and flexibility.

Abstract
Anisotropy is a prevailing property in most substances in the real world. The thermal conductivity characteristic of anisotropy must be determined for utilizing geothermal resources and assessing battery performances. Most core samples were primarily obtained by drilling and intended to be cylindrical in shape, with the cores resembling quantities of familiar batteries. Although Fourier's law could be used to measure the axial thermal conductivity of square or cylindrical samples, there is still a need to develop a new method to measure the radial thermal conductivity of cylindrical samples and evaluate their anisotropy. Thus, we established a testing method for cylindrical samples using the theory of complex variable functions following the heat conduction equation and implemented a numerical simulation to determine the difference between this method and typical ones via a finite element model for various samples. Results show that the method could perfectly gauge the radial thermal conductivity of cylindrical samples with more powerful availability.

Abstract
A portable acetylcholinesterase (AChE)-based electrochemical sensor based on a screen-printed carbon electrode (SPCE) and a miniature potentiostat was constructed for the rapid field detection of organophosphorus pesticides (OPs). Graphene (GR) and gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) were successively introduced onto SPCE for surface modification. Due to the synergistic effect of the two nanomaterials, the signal of the sensor has a significant enhancement. Take isocarbophos (ICP) as a model for chemical warfare agents (CAWs) and Ops; the SPCE/GR/AuNPs/AChE/Nafion sensor shows a wider linear range (0.1-2000 μg L-1), and a lower limit of detection (0.012 μg L-1) than SPCE/AChE/Nafion and SPCE/GR/AChE/Nafion sensors. Tests in actual fruit and tap water samples also yielded satisfactory results. Therefore, the proposed method can be used as a simple and cost-effective strategy for construction of portable electrochemical sensors for OP field detection.

Abstract
A smart sensing platform based on a triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG) possesses various advantages such as self-powering, convenience, real-time and biocompatibility. However, the detection limit of the TENG-based sensor is required to be improved. In this study, a high performance TENG-based glucose sensor was proposed by using the Ti3C2Tx (MXene)/graphene oxide (GO) composite electrode. The MXene and GO nanosheets are popular 2D materials which possessed high conductivity and a rich surface functional group. The MXene/GO thin films were prepared through electrostatic self-assembly technology, which can effectively impede the agglomeration of two nanoflakes. The as-prepared MXene/GO film presented outstanding mechanical property. To figure out the relationship between the nanostructure of MXene/GO film and the TENG, a series of MXene/GO-based TENG with different GO sizes was characterized. As a result, the TENG with 400 nm GO demonstrated the highest output performance. Subsequently, the optimized TENG was used in glucose detection application without the assistance of a glucose enzyme. This simple and flexible TENG shows promising potential in biosensors and non-invasive health monitoring.

Abstract
Being capable of sensing broadband infrared (IR) light is vitally important for wide-ranging applications from fundamental science to industrial purposes. Two-dimensional (2D) topological semimetals are being extensively explored for broadband IR detection due to their gapless electronic structure and the linear energy dispersion relation. However, the low charge separation efficiency, high noise level, and on-chip integration difficulty of these semimetals significantly hinder their further technological applications. Here, we demonstrate a facile thermal-assisted tellurization route for the van der Waals (vdW) growth of wafer-scale phase-controlled 2D MoTe2 layers. Importantly, the type-II Weyl semimetal 1T'-MoTe2 features a unique orthorhombic lattice structure with a broken inversion symmetry, which ensures efficient carrier transportation and thus reduces the carrier recombination. This characteristic is a key merit for the well-designed 1T'-MoTe2/Si vertical Schottky junction photodetector to achieve excellent performance with an ultrabroadband detection range of up to 10.6 µm and a large room temperature specific detectivity of over 108 Jones in the mid-infrared (MIR) range. Moreover, the large-area synthesis of 2D MoTe2 layers enables the demonstration of high-resolution uncooled MIR imaging capability by using an integrated device array. This work provides a new approach to assembling uncooled IR photodetectors based on 2D materials.

Abstract
Elliptic flow measurements from two-, four-, and six-particle correlations are used to investigate flow fluctuations in collisions of U+U at sqrt[s_{NN}]=193 GeV, Cu+Au at sqrt[s_{NN}]=200 GeV and Au+Au spanning the range sqrt[s_{NN}]=11.5-200 GeV. The measurements show a strong dependence of the flow fluctuations on collision centrality, a modest dependence on system size, and very little if any, dependence on particle species and beam energy. The results, when compared to similar LHC measurements, viscous hydrodynamic calculations, and trento model eccentricities, indicate that initial-state-driven fluctuations predominate the flow fluctuations generated in the collisions studied.

Abstract
Plasmonic hot carriers have the advantage of focusing, amplifying, and manipulating optical signals via electron oscillations which offers a feasible pathway to influence catalytic reactions. However, the contribution of nonmetallic hot carriers and thermal effects on the overall reactions are still unclear, and developing methods to enhance the efficiency of the catalysis is critical. Herein, we proposed a new strategy for flexibly modulating the hot electrons using a nonmetallic plasmonic heterostructure (named W18O49-nanowires/reduced-graphene-oxides) for isopropanol dehydration where the reaction rate was 180-fold greater than the corresponding thermocatalytic pathway. The key detail to this strategy lies in the synergetic utilization of ultraviolet light and visible-near-infrared light to enhance the hot electron generation and promote electron transfer for C-O bond cleavage during isopropanol dehydration reaction. This, in turn, results in a reduced reaction activation barrier down to 0.37 eV (compared to 1.0 eV of thermocatalysis) and a significantly improved conversion efficiency of 100% propylene from isopropanol. This work provides an additional strategy to modulate hot carrier of plasmonic semiconductors and helps guide the design of better catalytic materials and chemistries.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the changes of imaging parameters of patellofemoral joint after kinematic alignment total knee arthroplasty (KA-TKA) and mechanical alignment total knee arthroplasty (MA-TKA) and the effects on clinical outcomes. Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on 227 patients diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis, 105 males and 122 females, with the age of (68.6±7.2) years (range: 52 to 86 years). The patients underwent unilateral TKA at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Capital Medical University, from January 2020 to July 2021. The patients were divided into the KA-TKA group (n=102) and the MA-TKA group (n=125) according to the alignment method. The Blackburne-Peel index, lateral patellofemoral angle, patellofemoral tilt angle and patellofemoral index of the two groups were recorded before and 6 months after operation. The frequency of lateral patellar retinaculum release, preoperative and postoperative knee range of motion (ROM), and Oxford knee score(OKS) were also recorded. The differences between preoperative and postoperative measurement data of each group were calculated. If the difference was in line with normal distribution, the independent sample t-test or t'-test was used for comparison between the two groups. If it did not conform to normal distribution, Mann-Whitney U test was used. Paired sample t-test was used for comparison before and after treatment. Chi-square test was used for comparation of categorical data between the two groups. Results: After 6 months of operation, the patellar tilt angles of the KA-TKA group and the MA-TKA group were (14.22±3.26)° and (13.35±2.27)°, and the lateral patellar angles were (9.73±4.86)° and (11.91±3.89)°, respectively. The change of lateral patellofemoral angle in the KA-TKA group was significantly less than that in the MA-TKA group ((1.68±4.86)° vs. (4.15±4.88)°, t=3.805, P<0.01). OKS and ROM were improved in the both groups at 6 months after operation (all P<0.05), but there were no statistic significance in preoperative and postoperative difference between the two groups (all P>0.05). The intraoperative lateral patellar retinacular release rate was 14.4% (18/125) in the MA-TKA group and 6.9% (7/102) in the KA-TKA group, with no statistical difference (χ2=3.256,P=0.071). Conclusions: There are greater patella lateral tilt at 6 months postoperatively in the KA-TKA group compared with the MA-TKA group, but this radiographic difference could not show differences of clinical outcomes and postoperative ROM, the frequency of intraoperative lateral patellar retinacular release wouldn't increase. Therefore, KA-TKA does not increase the difficulty of postoperative patellofemoral joint complications and intraoperative lateral patellar release.

Abstract
The STAR Collaboration reports measurements of back-to-back azimuthal correlations of di-π^{0}s produced at forward pseudorapidities (2.6<η<4.0) in p+p, p+Al, and p+Au collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 200 GeV. We observe a clear suppression of the correlated yields of back-to-back π^{0} pairs in p+Al and p+Au collisions compared to the p+p data. The observed suppression of back-to-back pairs as a function of transverse momentum suggests nonlinear gluon dynamics arising at high parton densities. The larger suppression found in p+Au relative to p+Al collisions exhibits a dependence of the saturation scale Q_{s}^{2} on the mass number A. A linear scaling of the suppression with A^{1/3} is observed with a slope of -0.09±0.01.

Abstract
Congenital poikiloderma is an extremely rare autosomal dominant genetic syndrome, characterized by a combination of early onset poikiloderma, telangiectasia, and epidermal atrophy. FAM111B gene with multiple mutations has been identified as a potential causative gene for congenital poikiloderma. In this report, we described a boy with congenital poikiloderma confirmed by clinical manifestations. Next-generation sequencing based on a gene probe panel consisting of 541 genetic loci of genodermatoses, was used to screen mutations of the proband and his parents. Results showed that a missense mutation in the FAM111B gene c.1883G>A (rs587777238) was identified in the proband, but absent in his parents, indicating the mutation is de novo. In conclusion, a new case of congenital poikiloderma in China was reported, and the hotspot mutations in codon 628 of FAM111B gene was reviewed, as well as authenticating the uncertain association between genotypes and phenotypes in this rare disease.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical manifestations and prognosis of multiple myeloma (MM) patients with t(8;14)(q24;q32). Methods: The clinical data of MM patients with G-banding results from 2004 to 2009 in Hematology Department of People's Hospital of Peking University were retrospectively analyzed. The general data, M protein related examination, cytogenetics data, therapeutic regimen and response evaluation of MM patients with t(8;14)(q24;q32) were collected. Results: Of all newly diagnosed multiple myeloma patients, the number of patients who had G-banding results was 940, among which 265 had abnormal karyotype in G-banding, accounting for 28.19%. The incidence of t(8;14)(q24;q32) detected by G-banding in MM patients was 0.85%(8/940), t(8;14)(q24;q32) accounted for 3.02%(8/265) of all choromosome abnormalities detected by G-banding. Seven of eight patients were male with a median age of 63.5(56-76) and the immunoglobulin sub-types seven in eight patients were lambda. All eight patients had DS stage Ⅲ at the time of initial diagnosis. FISH detection of these eight patients showed six patients(75%) with 1q21 amplification, and five patients(62.5%) with G-banding results showed abnormal chromosome 1. Among the eight patients, the number of patients reached complete response ,very good response and partial response were separately four, one and two, and the overall response rate(ORR) was 87.5%. After the median follow-up 35 months(23-65months), 2 patients died, and the OS of the dead patients exceeded 5 years. Conclusions: Patients with t(8;14)(q24;q32) accounted for 0.85% of the total who have the results of G banding in our hospital. Of our 8 patients, the light chain sub-type Lambda was more than Kappa, the patients were more common in males, accompanied by 1q21 amplification and chromosome 1 abnormality. The tumor load was high at the time of diagnosis, but the overall response to treatment was fair.

Abstract
We report on a search for compact binary coalescences where at least one binary component has a mass between 0.2 M_{⊙} and 1.0 M_{⊙} in Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo data collected between 1 April 2019 1500 UTC and 1 October 2019 1500 UTC. We extend our previous analyses in two main ways: we include data from the Virgo detector and we allow for more unequal mass systems, with mass ratio q≥0.1. We do not report any gravitational-wave candidates. The most significant trigger has a false alarm rate of 0.14 yr^{-1}. This implies an upper limit on the merger rate of subsolar binaries in the range [220-24200] Gpc^{-3} yr^{-1}, depending on the chirp mass of the binary. We use this upper limit to derive astrophysical constraints on two phenomenological models that could produce subsolar-mass compact objects. One is an isotropic distribution of equal-mass primordial black holes. Using this model, we find that the fraction of dark matter in primordial black holes in the mass range 0.2 M_{⊙}<m_{PBH}<1.0 M_{⊙} is f_{PBH}≡Ω_{PBH}/Ω_{DM}≲6%. This improves existing constraints on primordial black hole abundance by a factor of ∼3. The other is a dissipative dark matter model, in which fermionic dark matter can collapse and form black holes. The upper limit on the fraction of dark matter black holes depends on the minimum mass of the black holes that can be formed: the most constraining result is obtained at M_{min}=1 M_{⊙}, where f_{DBH}≡Ω_{DBH}/Ω_{DM}≲0.003%. These are the first constraints placed on dissipative dark models by subsolar-mass analyses.

Abstract
MgI2-catalyzed nucleophilic ring-opening reactions of donor-acceptor cyclopropanes with indoline-2-thiones as easy-to-handle sulfur nucleophiles were investigated. A series of functionalized γ-indolylthio butyric acid derivatives were synthesized in good to excellent yields under mild reaction conditions. Furthermore, the thioether functionalized ring-opening products could be transformed to sulfone and methionine analogues.

Abstract
Poly(3,4-ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonic acid) (PEDOT:PSS) thermoelectric thin films have attracted significant interest due to their solution-processable manufacturing. However, molecular-level tuning or doping is still a challenge to synergistically boost their thermoelectric performance and mechanically stretchable capabilities. In this work, we report a counterion exchange between ionic liquid bis(x-fluorosulfonyl) amide lithium (Li:nFSI, n = 1, 3, 5) with different sizes of anions and a PEDOT:PSS-induced bipolaron network, which significantly boosted the thermoelectric power factor from 0.8 to 157 μW m K-2 at 235 °C and the maximum tensile strain from 3% to over 30%. The π-π* stacking of the PEDOT polymer chains was fine-tuned by the hydrophobic anions of nFSI-, providing a technical route for constructing a bipolaron network and inducing the transition from hopping transport to band-like transport. Furthermore, we found that the stretchable capabilities, that is, εmax, were connected to the gelation time of the PEDOT:PSS-Li:nFSI aqueous solution. Thus, more fluorine-containing groups resulted in longer gelation times and higher εmax values, which significantly improved the processability of the solution-derived films.

Abstract
Backgrounds and Purpose The theory of “entero-pulmonary axis” proves that pneumonia leads to gut microbiota disturbance and Treg/Th17 immune imbalance. This study is aimed to explore the potential mechanism of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) in the treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa pneumonia, in order to provide new insights into the treatment of pneumonia. Methods Pseudomonas aeruginosa and C57/BL6 mice were used to construct the acute pneumonia mouse model, and FMT was treated. Histopathological changes in lung and spleen were observed by HE staining. The expression of CD25, Foxp3 and IL-17 was observed by immunofluorescence. The proportion of Treg and Th17 cells was analyzed by flow cytometry. Serum IL-6, LPS, and IFN-γ levels were detected by ELISA. The expression of TNF-α, IFN-γ, IL-6, IL-2, Foxp3, IL-17, IL-10, and TGFβ1 in lung tissue homogenate was detected by qRT-PCR. 16S rRNA sequencing and non-targeted metabolomics were used to analyze gut microbiota and metabolism. Results Pseudomonas aeruginosa caused the decrease of body weight, food and water intake, lung tissue, and spleen injury in mice with pneumonia. Meanwhile, it caused lung tissue and serum inflammation, and Treg/Th17 cell imbalance in mice with pneumonia. Pseudomonas aeruginosa reduced the diversity and number of gut microbiota in pneumonia mice, resulting in metabolic disorders, superpathway of quinolone and alkylquinolone biosynthesis. It also led to the decrease of 2-heptyl-3-hydroxy-4(1H)-quinolone biosynthesis, and the enrichment of Amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism. FMT with or without antibiotic intervention restored gut microbiota abundance and diversity, suppressed inflammation and tissue damage, and promoted an immunological balance of Treg/Th17 cells in mice with pneumonia. In addition, FMT inhibited the aerobactin biosynthesis, 4-hydroxyphenylacetate degradation, superpathway of lipopolysaccharide biosynthesis and L-arabinose degradation IV function of microbiota, and improved amino sugar and nucleotide sugar metabolism. Conclusions FMT restored the Treg/Th17 cells’ balance and improved inflammation and lung injury in mice with Pseudomonas aeruginosa pneumonia by regulating gut microbiota disturbance and metabolic disorder.

Abstract
We report cumulants of the proton multiplicity distribution from dedicated fixed-target Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=3.0 GeV, measured by the STAR experiment in the kinematic acceptance of rapidity (y) and transverse momentum (p_{T}) within -0.5<y<0 and 0.4<p_{T}<2.0 GeV/c. In the most central 0%-5% collisions, a proton cumulant ratio is measured to be C_{4}/C_{2}=-0.85±0.09 (stat)±0.82 (syst), which is 2σ below the Poisson baseline with respect to both the statistical and systematic uncertainties. The hadronic transport UrQMD model reproduces our C_{4}/C_{2} in the measured acceptance. Compared to higher energy results and the transport model calculations, the suppression in C_{4}/C_{2} is consistent with fluctuations driven by baryon number conservation and indicates an energy regime dominated by hadronic interactions. These data imply that the QCD critical region, if created in heavy-ion collisions, could only exist at energies higher than 3 GeV.

Abstract
We report precision measurements of hypernuclei _{Λ}^{3}H and _{Λ}^{4}H lifetimes obtained from Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=3.0 GeV and 7.2 GeV collected by the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, and the first measurement of _{Λ}^{3}H and _{Λ}^{4}H midrapidity yields in Au+Au collisions at sqrt[s_{NN}]=3.0 GeV. _{Λ}^{3}H and _{Λ}^{4}H, being the two simplest bound states composed of hyperons and nucleons, are cornerstones in the field of hypernuclear physics. Their lifetimes are measured to be 221±15(stat)±19(syst) ps for _{Λ}^{3}H and 218±6(stat)±13(syst) ps for _{Λ}^{4}H. The p_{T}-integrated yields of _{Λ}^{3}H and _{Λ}^{4}H are presented in different centrality and rapidity intervals. It is observed that the shape of the rapidity distribution of _{Λ}^{4}H is different for 0%-10% and 10%-50% centrality collisions. Thermal model calculations, using the canonical ensemble for strangeness, describes the _{Λ}^{3}H yield well, while underestimating the _{Λ}^{4}H yield. Transport models, combining baryonic mean-field and coalescence (jam) or utilizing dynamical cluster formation via baryonic interactions (phqmd) for light nuclei and hypernuclei production, approximately describe the measured _{Λ}^{3}H and _{Λ}^{4}H yields. Our measurements provide means to precisely assess our understanding of the fundamental baryonic interactions with strange quarks, which can impact our understanding of more complicated systems involving hyperons, such as the interior of neutron stars or exotic hypernuclei.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of lenalidomide combined with bortezomib and dexamethasone (RVD) in patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM). Methods: A total of 100 consecutive NDMM patients treated with RVD from August 2016 to September 2020 at Peking University People's Hospital were retrospectively analyzed, including response, drug toxicity, follow-up and survival, and subgroup analysis. Results: The median follow-up time was 19.5 (2.0-57.0) months. For patients undergoing autologous stem cell transplantation (ASCT) after RVD regimen, the objective response rate (ORR)/complete response+stringent complete response (CR+sCR)/≥very good partial response (VGPR) rates were 100%, 73.3% (33/45), 95.6% (43/45) respectively. For 54 patients not receiving transplantation, the ORR/CR+sCR/≥VGPR rates were 79.6% (43/54), 18.5% (10/54), 51.9% (28/54) respectively. As to the survival analysis, 2-year progression free survival (PFS) rates were 84.5% and 70.9% in transplant and non-transplant patients respectively (P=0.102). Two-year overall survival (OS) rates were 100% and 80.8% in transplant and non-transplant patients respectively (P=0.003). The common hematologic adverse events (AEs) were thrombocytopenia (33%) and neutropenia (25%). Abnormal liver function (43%) and peripheral neuropathy (24%) were recognized more as non-hematologic AEs. Conclusion: RVD as front-line regimen has high efficient response rate and acceptable safety in Chinese NDMM patients.

Abstract
PIDA mediated oxidative acyloxylation/azirination and sulfonyloxylation/azirination of β-enamino esters were investigated. A series of functionalized acyloxy-2H-azirine and sulfonyloxy-2H-azirine derivatives was synthesized in moderate to good yields. This represents the first oxidative sulfonyloxylation/azirination of β-enamino esters with PIDA and sulfonic acid for access to sulfonyloxy-2H-azirine. Hypervalent iodine reagents enable cascade C-O/C-N bond formation. Furthermore, a possible reaction pathway was proposed based on the experimental results.

Abstract
The chiral magnetic effect (CME) refers to charge separation along a strong magnetic field due to imbalanced chirality of quarks in local parity and charge-parity violating domains in quantum chromodynamics. The experimental measurement of the charge separation is made difficult by the presence of a major background from elliptic azimuthal anisotropy. This background and the CME signal have different sensitivities to the spectator and participant planes, and could thus be determined by measurements with respect to these planes. We report such measurements in Au+Au collisions at a nucleon-nucleon center-of-mass energy of 200 GeV at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider. It is found that the charge separation, with the flow background removed, is consistent with zero in peripheral (large impact parameter) collisions. Some indication of finite CME signals is seen in midcentral (intermediate impact parameter) collisions. Significant residual background effects may, however, still be present.

Abstract
The etching properties of C6F6/Ar/O2 in both an inductively coupled plasma (ICP) system and a capacitively coupled plasma (CCP) system were evaluated to investigate the effects of high C/F ratio of perfluorocarbon (PFC) gas on the etch characteristics of SiO2. When the SiO2 masked with ACL was etched with C6F6, for the CCP system, even though the etch selectivity was very high (20 ~ infinite), due to the heavy-ion bombardment possibly caused by the less dissociated high-mass ions from C6F6, tapered SiO2 etch profiles were observed. In the case of the ICP system, due to the higher dissociation of C6F6 and O2 compared to the CCP system, the etching of SiO2 required a much lower ratio of O2/C6F6 (~1.0) while showing a higher maximum SiO2 etch rate (~400 nm/min) and a lower etch selectivity (~6.5) compared with the CCP system. For the ICP etching, even though the etch selectivity was much lower than that by the CCP etching, due to less heavy-mass-ion bombardment in addition to an adequate fluorocarbon layer formation on the substrate caused by heavily dissociated species, highly anisotropic SiO2 etch profiles could be obtained at the optimized condition of the O2/C6F6 ratio (~1.0).

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological features, surgical methods and prognosis of primary appendiceal neoplasms. Methods: A descriptive case series study was performed. Clinical data of patients diagnosed with primary appendiceal neoplasms in Peking University First Hospital from 2006 to 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. Patients who underwent surgery and were confirmed as appendiceal neoplasms by postoperative pathology were included. Cases of cecal tumor invading the appendix and other organ tumors implanting in the appendix and cases of recurrent appendix tumors were excluded Pathological classification was based on the 4th edition of the WHO classification of digestive tract tumors (2010 edition), and the efficacy of operation methods of low grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasm (LAMN) were analyzed. Results: A total of 115 patients were enrolled, including 52 males and 63 females with a median age of 59 (51, 71) years. Clinical symptoms usually manifested as dormant pain in the right lower quadrant, migrating right lower abdominal pain, fever and bloating. Twenty-four cases were accidentally discovered during surgery, and 21 cases were found by physical examination. The preoperative diagnosis rate of CT and ultrasound was 40.2% (43/107) and 25.5% (24/94) respectively. The postoperative pathological types contained 83 cases of LAMN, 12 cases of mucinous adenocarcinoma, 9 cases of appendiceal neuroendocrine neoplasms (aNEN), 2 cases of mucinous adenocarcinoma with signet ring cells, 3 cases of serrated adenoma, 2 cases of goblet cell carcinoid, 2 cases of lymphoma, 1 case of leiomyoma and 1 case of schwannomas. All the patients underwent surgical resection, including 41 cases of appendectomy, 21 cases of partial cecectomy, 48 cases of right hemicolectomy, and 5 cases of combined organ resection due to appendiceal tumor infiltration or dissemination. Eighteen cases were diagnosed with pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP) during operation. A total of 98 patients were enrolled for follow-up. The median follow-up time was 58 (5-172) months. The 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) rate was 84.5% and 5-year overall survival (OS) was 88.2%. Multivariate analysis revealed that high-grade malignancy tumors (HR=25.881, 95% CI: 2.827-236.935, P=0.004) and PMP formation (HR=42.166, 95% CI: 3.470-512.439,P=0.003) were independent risk factors for prognosis. Patients undergoing right hemicolectomy presented longer operation time, more blood loss and higher morbidity of complication as compared to those undergoing appendectomy and partial cecectomy (all P<0.05), while no significant differences in 5-year DFS (P=0.627) and 5-year OS (P=0.718) were found. Conclusions: Primary appendiceal neoplasms usually have no typical features, accompanied with low preoperative diagnosis rate. The common pathological types are LAMN, mucinous adenocarcinoma and aNEN. Appendectomy or partial cecectomy for LAMN may achieve satisfactory prognosis. High-grade malignancy tumors and PMP formation are independent risk factors for prognosis.

Abstract
According to first-principle lattice QCD calculations, the transition from quark-gluon plasma to hadronic matter is a smooth crossover in the region μ_{B}≤T_{c}. In this range the ratio, C_{6}/C_{2}, of net-baryon distributions are predicted to be negative. In this Letter, we report the first measurement of the midrapidity net-proton C_{6}/C_{2} from 27, 54.4, and 200 GeV Au+Au collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). The dependence on collision centrality and kinematic acceptance in (p_{T}, y) are analyzed. While for 27 and 54.4 GeV collisions the C_{6}/C_{2} values are close to zero within uncertainties, it is observed that for 200 GeV collisions, the C_{6}/C_{2} ratio becomes progressively negative from peripheral to central collisions. Transport model calculations without critical dynamics predict mostly positive values except for the most central collisions within uncertainties. These observations seem to favor a smooth crossover in the high-energy nuclear collisions at top RHIC energy.
