Abstract
Anoectochilus roxburghii is an important Chinese herbal medicine plant belonging to Orchidaceae and known as Jinxianlian. This orchid is cultivated and mostly adopted to treat diabetes and hepatitis. About 2 billion artificially cultivated seedlings of Jinxianlian are required each year and approximately $600 million in fresh A. roxburghii seedlings is produced in China. From 2011, sporadic occurrence of stem rot on Jinxianlian have been observed in greenhouses in Jinhua City (N29°05', E119°38'), Zhejiang Province. In 2018, nearly 30% of seedlings of Jinxianlian grown in greenhouse conditions were affected by stem rot in Jinhua City. Symptoms initially occurred in the stem at the soil line causing dark discoloration lesions, rotted tissues, wilting, and eventually leading to the death of the plants. A total of 23 diseased seedlings collected from seven different greenhouses were surface sterilized with 1.5% sodium hypochlorite for 3 min, then rinsed in water. Pieces of tissues disinfected from each sample were plated on 2% potato dextrose agar (PDA), and incubated at 25°C in the dark for 5 days (Kirk et al. 2008). A total of 19 isolates were recovered. They developed colonies with purple mycelia and beige or orange colors after 7 days of incubation under 25°C on PDA and carnation leaf agar (CLA) media (Kirk et al. 2008; Zhang et al. 2016). Colonies on PDA had an average radial growth rate of 3.1 to 4.0 mm /d at 25°C. Colony surface was pale vinaceous, floccose with abundant aerial mycelium. On CLA, aerial mycelium was sparse with abundant bright orange sporodochia forming on the carnation leaves. Microconidia were hyaline and oval-ellipsoid to cylindrical (3.7 to 9.3 × 1.3 to 2.9 μm) (n=19). Macroconidia were 3 to 5 septate and fusoid-subulate with a pedicellate base (27.4 to 35.6 × 3.2 to 4.2 μm) (n=19). These morphological features were consistent with Fusarium oxysporum (Sun et al. 2008; Lombard et al., 2019). To confirm the identification based on these morphological features, the internal transcribed spacer region (ITS) and translation elongation factor1 (TEF) were amplified from the DNA of 3 out of 19 isolates chosen at random respectively using the set primer ITS1/ITS4 and EF1/ EF2 (Sun, S., et al. 2018; Lombard et al., 2019). BLAST analysis revealed that the ITS sequences (OK147619, OK147620, OK147621) had 99% identity to that of F. oxysporum isolate JJF2 (GenBank MN626452) and TEF sequence (OK155999, OK156000, OK156001) had 100% identity to that of F. oxysporum isolate gss100 (GenBank MH341210). A multilocus phylogenetic analysis by Bayesian inference (BI) and maximum likelihood (ML) trees based on ITS and TEF indicated that the pathogen grouped consistently with F. oxysporum. Three out of 19 isolates chosen at random were selected to evaluate pathogenicity. Uninfected healthy A. roxburghii seedlings about 40 day-old planted in sterilized substrates were sprayed with distilled water containing 2 x 106 conidia per ml suspensions as inoculums, and plants sprayed with distilled water alone served as controls. Plants were then incubated at 25°C and 85% relative humidity. Ten plants were inoculated for each isolate. After 10 days, all plants inoculated developed stem rot symptoms, while control plants remained healthy. Cultures of Fusarium spp. were re-isolated only from inoculated plants with the frequency of 100% and re-identified by morphological characteristics as F. oxysporum, fulfilling Koch's postulates. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report of F. oxysporum causing stem rot on A. roxburghii seedlings. As F. oxysporum is a devastating pathogenic fungus with a broad host range, measures should be taken in advance to manage stem rot of A. roxburghii.

Abstract
Neolamarckia cadamba is an important tropical and subtropical tree for timber industry in southern China and is also a medicinal plant because of the secondary product cadambine. N. cadamba belongs to Rubiaceae family and its taxonomic relationships with other species are not fully evaluated based on genome sequences. Here, we report the complete sequences of mitochondrial genome of N. cadamba, which is 414,980 bp in length and successfully assembled in two genome circles (109,836 bp and 305,144 bp). The mtDNA harbors 83 genes in total, including 40 protein-coding genes (PCGs), 31 transfer RNA genes, 6 ribosomal RNA genes, and 6 other genes. The base composition of the whole genome is estimated as 27.26% for base A, 22.63% for C, 22.53% for G, and 27.56% for T, with the A + T content of 54.82% (54.45% in the small circle and 54.79% in the large circle). Repetitive sequences account for ~ 0.14% of the whole genome. A maximum likelihood (ML) tree based on DNA sequences of 24 PCGs supports that N. cadamba belongs to order Gentianales. A ML tree based on rps3 gene of 60 species in family Rubiaceae shows that N. cadamba is more related to Cephalanthus accidentalis and Hymenodictyon parvifolium and belongs to the Cinchonoideae subfamily. The result indicates that N. cadamba is genetically distant from the species and genera of Rubiaceae in systematic position. As the first sequence of mitochondrial genome of N. cadamba, it will provide a useful resource to investigate genetic variation and develop molecular markers for genetic breeding in the future.

Abstract
Dyes, a kind of visible chemical, have severe deleterious effects on human health and ecological environment. In this work, batch biosorption experiments were carried out under various experimental conditions such as pH value and agitation time to optimize the potentiality of Enteromorpha prolifera for the removal of malachite green (MG) dye from aqueous solution (70·7%). Then, the algal biomass was treated with a dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) in helium for 4 and 10 min to enhance MG removal efficiency (84·7 and 96·6%). In addition, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy in combination with scanning electron microscopy was employed to monitor the chemical and physical changes of algal cells treated by DBD. This study illustrates that DBD may serve as an effective tool to activate the functional groups on the cell wall surface for dye binding, and it even offers an alternative new technique to improve the adsorption properties of native biosorbents for the removal of toxic dyes from wastewater.

Abstract
The development of synthetic receptors that recognize carbohydrates in water with high selectivity and specificity is challenging on account of their structural complexity and strong hydrophilicity. Here, we report on the design and synthesis of two pyrene-based, temple-shaped receptors for the recognition of a range of common sugars in water. These receptors rely on the use of two parallel pyrene panels, which serve as roofs and floors, capable of forming multiple [C-H···π] interactions with the axially oriented C-H bonds on glycopyranosyl rings in the carbohydrate-based substrates. In addition, eight polarized pyridinium C-H bonds, projecting from the roofs and floors of the temple receptors toward the binding cavities, form [C-H···O] hydrogen bonds, with the equatorially oriented OH groups on the sugars located inside the hydrophobic cavities. Four para-xylylene pillars play a crucial role in controlling the distance between the roof and floor. These temple receptors are highly selective for the binding of glucose and its derivatives. Furthermore, they show enhanced fluorescence upon binding with glucose in water, a property which is useful for glucose-sensing in aqueous solution.

Abstract
To construct and develop the home self-sampling processes of cervical human papillomavirus (HPV) detection and evaluate its application effect. An integrated HPV self-sampling detection platform is scheduled to include three terminals: a user terminal, a detection terminal and a medical terminal. It covers a wide range of functions of self-sampling kit acquisition of user, sample logistics tracking, inspection services, report query, medical consultation, health management, and follow-up tracking. A total of 8 053 users applied for self-sampling kits and all completed online user information registration from January to November 2020. The average age of users ranged from 17 to 84 with a median age of 42 years old. Registered users of the platform were distributed in Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Hebei, Shanxi, Shanghai, Ningxia, Anhui, Zhejiang, Inner Mongolia, Beijing and Xinjiang. 8 045 users completed self-sampling with a kit return rate of 99.9%. Six users lost the kits during the express delivery, and 2 users had the kits contaminated due to improper application; The amount of exfoliated cells collected from 8 045 cases in the sample kits were all within the endogenous internal standard of the nucleic acid kit, and the qualified rate of kits was 100%. The proportion of test report issued by the detection platform within 3 d accounts for 96.93% (7 799/8 054). Among the 763 positive users, 742 completed 6-month reexamination, with a reexamination rate of 97.25%. Unfortunately, 21 cases were lost to follow-up. Taken together, HPV home-based self-sampling is simple, convenient and efficient in use. It can expand the coverage of cervical cancer screening and may help promote HPV screening.

Abstract
Nanographenes have kindled considerable interest in the fields of materials science and supramolecular chemistry as a result of their unique self-assembling and optoelectronic properties. Encapsulating the contorted nanographenes inside artificial receptors, however, remains challenging. Herein, we report the design and synthesis of a trigonal prismatic hexacationic cage, which has a large cavity and adopts a relatively flexible conformation. It serves as a receptor, not only for planar coronene, but also for contorted nanographene derivatives with diameters of approximately 15 Å and thicknesses of 7 Å. A comprehensive investigation of the host-guest interactions in the solid, solution and gaseous states by experimentation and theoretical calculations reveals collectively an induced-fit binding mechanism with high binding affinities between the cage and the nanographenes. Notably, the photostability of the nanographenes is improved significantly by the ultrafast deactivation of their excited states within the cage. Encapsulating the contorted nanographenes inside the cage provides a noncovalent strategy for regulating their photoreactivity.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the genetic polymorphisms of Plasmodium falciparum multidrug resistance protein 1 (PfMDR1), chloroquine resistance transporter (PfCRT) and Kelch 13 (PfK13) genes in Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea, so as to provide insights into the development of the malaria control strategy in local areas. METHODS A total of 85 peripheral blood samples were collected from patients with Plasmodium falciparum infections in Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea in 2018 and 2019, and genomic DNA was extracted. The PfMDR1, PfCRT and PfK13 genes were amplified using a nested PCR assay. The amplification products were sequenced, and the gene sequences were aligned. RESULTS There were no mutations associated with artemisinin resistance in PfK13 gene in Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea, while drug-resistant mutations were detected in PfMDR1 and PfCRT genes, and the proportions of PfMDR1_N86Y, PfMDR1_Y184F and PfCRT_K76T mutations were 35.29% (30/85), 72.94% (62/85) and 24.71% (21/85), respectively. CONCLUSIONS There are mutations in PfMDR1, PfCRT and PfK13 genes in P. falciparum isolates from Bioko Island, Equatorial Guinea.

Abstract
Complexation between a viologen radical cation (V.+ ) and cyclobis(paraquat-p-phenylene) diradical dication (CBPQT2(.+) ) has been investigated and utilized extensively in the construction of mechanically interlocked molecules (MIMs) and artificial molecular machines (AMMs). The selective recognition of a pair of V.+ using radical-pairing interactions, however, remains a formidable challenge. Herein, we report the efficient encapsulation of two methyl viologen radical cations (MV.+ ) in a size-matched bisradical dicationic host - namely, cyclobis(paraquat-2,6-naphthalene)2(.+) , i.e., CBPQN2(.+) . Central to this dual recognition process was the choice of 2,6-bismethylenenaphthalene linkers for incorporation into the bisradical dicationic host. They provide the space between the two bipyridinium radical cations in CBPQN2(.+) suitable for binding two MV.+ with relatively short (3.05-3.25 Å) radical-pairing distances. The size-matched bisradical dicationic host was found to exhibit highly selective and cooperative association with the two MV.+ in MeCN at room temperature. The formation of the tetrakisradical tetracationic inclusion complex - namely, [(MV)2 ⊂CBPQN]4( .+) - in MeCN was confirmed by VT 1 H NMR, as well as by EPR spectroscopy. The solid-state superstructure of [(MV)2 ⊂CBPQN]4( .+) reveals an uneven distribution of the binding distances (3.05, 3.24, 3.05 Å) between the three different V.+ , suggesting that localization of the radical-pairing interactions has a strong influence on the packing of the two MV.+ inside the bisradical dicationic host. Our findings constitute a rare example of binding two radical guests with high affinity and cooperativity using host-guest radical-pairing interactions. Moreover, they open up possibilities of harnessing the tetrakisradical tetracationic inclusion complex as a new, orthogonal and redox-switchable recognition motif for the construction of MIMs and AMMs.

Abstract
The recognition and separation of anions attracts attention from chemists, materials scientists, and engineers. Employing exo-binding of artificial macrocycles to selectively recognize anions remains a challenge in supramolecular chemistry. We report the instantaneous co-crystallization and concomitant co-precipitation between [PtCl6 ]2- dianions and cucurbit[6]uril, which relies on the selective recognition of these dianions through noncovalent bonding interactions on the outer surface of cucurbit[6]uril. The selective [PtCl6 ]2- dianion recognition is driven by weak [Pt-Cl⋅⋅⋅H-C] hydrogen bonding and [Pt-Cl⋅⋅⋅C=O] ion-dipole interactions. The synthetic protocol is highly selective. Recognition is not observed in combinations between cucurbit[6]uril and six other Pt- and Pd- or Rh-based chloride anions. We also demonstrated that cucurbit[6]uril is able to separate selectively [PtCl6 ]2- dianions from a mixture of [PtCl6 ]2- , [PdCl4 ]2- , and [RhCl6 ]3- anions. This protocol could be exploited to recover platinum from spent vehicular three-way catalytic converters and other platinum-bearing metal waste.

Abstract
PURPOSE A Killian-Jamieson diverticulum (KJD) may be mistaken for a thyroid nodule on ultrasound (US). The purpose of this retrospective study was to search for specific US features that would help differentiate between KJD and thyroid nodules. METHODS A total of 12 patients with KJD who had undergone an US examination of the neck were identified. The size, shape, boundary, echopattern, location, color flow signals on color Doppler US of KJD and the relationship between the lesion and esophageal wall were analyzed. The change of size, shape and internal echotexture were also observed when the lesion was compressed with the probe and when the patient was asked to drink water. RESULTS All KJD were confirmed by barium esophagography. All KJD were posterior to the left thyroid lobe on US, and were associated with a semicircular hypoechoic anterior wall. The internal echotexture was heterogeneous. In eight cases, the connection to the esophageal wall was seen. When compressing with the US probe or when the patients swallowed water, the size, shape or internal echotexture of the lesion changed. CONCLUSION The specific criteria for US diagnosis of KJD included the connection to the esophageal wall and the fact that the internal echotexture, shape and size of KJD changed in real-time when the patient swallowed water or when the lesion was compressed with the transducer.

Abstract
For the most part, enzymes contain one active site wherein they catalyze in a serial manner chemical reactions between substrates both efficiently and rapidly. Imagine if a situation could be created within a chiral porous crystal containing trillions of active sites where substrates can reside in vast numbers before being converted in parallel into products. Here, we report how it is possible to incorporate 1-anthracenecarboxylate (1-AC-) as a substrate into a γ-cyclodextrin-containing metal-organic framework (CD-MOF-1), where the metals are K+ cations, prior to carrying out [4+4] photodimerizations between pairs of substrate molecules, affording selectively one of four possible regioisomers. One of the high-yielding regioisomers exhibits optical activity as a result of the presence of an 8:1 ratio of the two enantiomers following separation by high-performance liquid chromatography. The solid-state superstructure of 1-anthracenecarboxylate potassium salt (1-ACK), which is co-crystallized with γ-cyclodextrin, reveals that pairs of substrate molecules are not only packed inside tunnels between spherical cavities present in CD-MOF-1, but also stabilized-in addition to hydrogen-bonding to the C-2 and C-3 hydroxyl groups on the d-glucopyranosyl residues present in the γ-cyclodextrin tori-by combinations of hydrophobic and electrostatic interactions between the carboxyl groups in 1-AC- and four K+ cations on the waistline between the two γ-cyclodextrin tori in the tunnels. These non-covalent bonding interactions result in preferred co-conformations that account for the highly regio- and enantioselective [4+4] cycloaddition during photoirradiation. Theoretical calculations, in conjunction with crystallography, support the regio- and stereochemical outcome of the photodimerization.

Abstract
Colored charge-transfer complexes can be formed by the association between electron-rich donor and electron-deficient acceptor molecules, bringing about the narrowing of HOMO-LUMO energy gaps so that they become capable of harnessing visible light. In an effort to facilitate the use of these widespread, but nonetheless weak, interactions for visible light photocatalysis, it is important to render the interactions strong and robust. Herein, we employ a well-known donor-acceptor [2]catenane-formed by the mechanical interlocking of cyclobis(paraquat-p-phenylene) and 1,5-dinaphtho[38]crown-10-in which the charge-transfer interactions between two 4,4'-bipyridinium and two 1,5-dioxynaphthalene units are enhanced by mechanical bonding, leading to increased absorption of visible light, even at low concentrations in solution. As a result, since this [2]catenane can generate persistent bipyridinium radical cations under continuous visible-light irradiation without the need for additional photosensitizers, it can display good catalytic activity in both photo-reductions and -oxidations, as demonstrated by hydrogen production-in the presence of platinum nanoparticles-and aerobic oxidation of organic sulfides, such as l-methionine, respectively. This research, which highlights the usefulness of nanoconfinement present in mechanically interlocked molecules for the reinforcement of weak interactions, can not only expand the potential of charge-transfer interactions in solar energy conversion and synthetic photocatalysis but also open up new possibilities for the development of active artificial molecular shuttles, switches, and machines.

Abstract
Investigating how electrons propagate through a single molecule is one of the missions of molecular electronics. Electrons, however, are also efficient catalysts for conducting radical reactions, a property that is often overlooked by chemists. Special attention should be paid to electron catalysis when interpreting single-molecule conductance results for the simple reason that an unexpected reaction mediated or triggered by electrons might take place in the single-molecule junction. Here, we describe a counterintuitive structure-property relationship that molecules, both linear and cyclic, employing a saturated bipyridinium-ethane backbone, display a similar conductance signature when compared to junctions formed with molecules containing conjugated bipyridinium-ethene backbones. We describe an ethane-to-ethene transformation, which proceeds in the single-molecule junction by an electron-catalyzed dehydrogenation. Electrochemically based ensemble experiments and theoretical calculations have revealed that the electrons trigger the redox process, and the electric field promotes the dehydrogenation. This finding not only demonstrates the importance of electron catalysis when interpreting experimental results, but also charts a pathway to gaining more insight into the mechanism of electrocatalytic hydrogen production at the single-molecule level.

Abstract
Breast cancer is the most common malignancy and the leading cause of cancer death in females worldwide. Treatment is challenging, especially for those who are triple-negative. Increasing evidence suggests that diverse immune populations are present in the breast tumour microenvironment, which opens up avenues for personalised drug targets. Historically, our investigations into the immune constitution of breast tumours have been restricted to analyses of one or two markers at a given time. Recent technological advances have allowed simultaneous labelling of more than 35 markers and detailed profiling of tumour-immune infiltrates at the single-cell level, as well as determining the cellular composition and spatial analysis of the entire tumour architecture. In this review, we describe emerging technologies that have contributed to the field of breast cancer diagnosis, and discuss how to interpret the vast data sets obtained in order to effectively translate them for clinically relevant use.

Abstract
Despite diagnostic and therapeutic advances in breast cancer, it remains the most frequently diagnosed malignancy in females, with the highest cancer-related mortality rate in women globally. With an improved understanding of the complex interactions between breast cancer and the immune system, immunotherapy has shown great potential in clinical management, potentially adding to current treatment modalities. These immunotherapeutic approaches include adoptive cell transfer therapy, cancer vaccination, monoclonal antibody therapy, and oncolytic virus therapy. Depending on the immune cells and cytokines present, the tumour microenvironment (TME) can be immunosuppressive or favourable for mounting an immune response. Effector lymphocytes play an essential role during an anticancer immune response, but their activities can be suppressed by the hostile TME. Many studies have made good progress in the modulation of the immune response to allow the identification and elimination of tumour cells. However, the efficacy of these immunotherapies is patient-specific and highly dependent on the immunological profile of the tumour and its TME. This review will give an overview of breast cancer, the immune system as well as their complex relationship. Strategies and approaches that can harness the potential of immunotherapy that engages lymphocytes in the treatment of breast cancer, along with their current challenges, will also be discussed.

Abstract
Objectives: To explore the HIV prevalence and related factors among MSM aged 50 and above and provide evidence on the prevention and control of HIV/AIDS. Methods: Based on an MSM social application software Blued 7.1.6, we recruited participants through online convenience sampling to collect demographic variables, behavioral and self-reported HIV infection status, etc. Univariate χ2 test and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze the related factors of self-reported HIV infection. Results: Self-reported HIV infection rate was 17.6%(126/714) among the participants. In multivariable analysis, participants who got divorced or widowed had a 2.07(95%CI: 1.34-3.21) times greater risk of self-reported HIV-positive than those who were married. Participants unaware of HIV-related knowledge showed a 1.92(95%CI:1.21-3.04) times greater risk of self-reported HIV-positive than those with better HIV-related knowledge. Participants who have ever been diagnosed with sexually transmitted disease (STD) showed a 3.17(95%CI:2.09-4.83) times greater risk of self-reported HIV-positive than those without STD infection history. Conclusion: Our findings indicated that the self-reported HIV infection rate was high among MSM aged 50 and above. Being divorced or widowed, being unaware of HIV-related knowledge and STD infection history was proved related with self-reported HIV infection.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze the cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) imaging feature of clinically diagnosed myocarditis patients with negative endocardial biopsy (EMB) results, and to further demonstrate the diagnostic value of CMR in these patients. Methods: This was a retrospective case series study. Fourteen patients, who were clinically diagnosed as myocarditis according to 2013 European Society of Cardiology (ESC) clinical diagnostic criteria for myocarditis, but with negative EMB results, were enrolled. All patients underwent CMR examinations. The morphological, functional and histological changes of the heart were assessed based on black blood sequence, cine sequence, T2W-STIR sequence and contrast agent late gadolinium enhancement,(LGE). Results: There were 10 males and 4 females in this cohort, the age was (25.6±13.2) years. The interval between symptom onset and CMR was 21 (13, 60) days, and the interval between symptom onset and EMB was 19 (9, 40) days. There were 13 patients with abnormal CMR results including myocardial oedema, fibrosis, decreased ejection fraction, pericardial effusion or increased cardiac chamber dimension. Nine out of 14 patients had CMR morphological and/or functional abnormalities, including 1 case of left atrium enlargement, 1 case of left ventricle enlargement, 3 cases of right ventricle enlargement, 4 cases of increased left ventricular end diastolic volume index. Left ventricular ejection fraction was<50% in three cases, right ventricular ejection fraction was<40% in 5 cases, and pericardial effusion depth>3 mm was detected in 3 cases. Of the 14 patients, 11 had histological changes, of which 6 had T2 ratio≥2. Among the 10 patients (10/14) with positive LGE, the most common patterns were subepicardial LGE of the lateral wall and/or midwall LGE of the septum (n=9); 2 cases showed extensively subendocardial LGE of the left ventricular wall. No LGE involved in the right ventricular wall in the whole cohort. Conclusion: CMR plays a complementary role in the diagnosis of myocarditis in clinically diagnosed myocarditis patients with negative EMB findings.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathologic features, differential diagnosis, immunohistochemical profiles and molecular characteristics of primary extraskeletal osteosarcoma (ESOS). Methods: Ten cases of ESOS diagnosed and treated in Fujian Provincial Hospital, Fuzhou, China from January 2003 to January 2019 were collected and subjected to immunohistochemical staining and molecular analyses. The patients were followed up by telephone interview. Relative literature was also reviewed to assess the characteristics of this tumor. Results: The ten cases occurred in 3 women and 7 men, aged from 36 to 85 years (median, 60 years). The sizes of these tumors ranged from 5.5 to 17.5 cm (median, 11.0 cm). Histologically, at low magnification, the tumors were nodular, leafy and lobulated. They were composed of spindle cells, neoplastic osteoid cells, and cartilage tissues, with unequally-proportional mixture of these components. The three components intermingled with each other. Immunohistochemistry profiling showed that the tumor cells were positive for SATB2 (9/9), while α-SMA (4/10) and EMA (1/10) stains were focally positive. Ki-67 proliferation index was 10%‒50%. Desmin, CD68, S-100 protein, SOX10, HMB45, CD117, DOG1, CD34, CKpan, GATA3 and PAX8 stains were negative. MDM2/CDK4 gene amplification signals were not detected in the 6 cases (0/6), which were subjected to the FISH. The SSX18 break-apart signal and the C-KIT and PDGFR-α mutations were not detected (0/5 and 0/3, respectively). Conclusions: Primary ESOS is an extra-osseous osteogenic tumor. The diagnosis is mainly dependent on clinical, radiological and pathological characteristics. Immunohistochemistry and molecular profiling are helpful for making the correct diagnosis.

Abstract
Objective: Intermittent hypoxia, a significant feature of obstructive sleep apnea, has pro-tumorigenic effects. Here, we investigated the effect of sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate on oxidative stress and apoptosis in a mouse model of Lewis lung carcinoma with intermittent hypoxia. Methods: Mice were randomly assigned to normoxia (control), normoxia plus sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate (control + sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate), intermittent hypoxia, and intermittent hypoxia + sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate groups. Intermittent hypoxia administration lasted 5 weeks in the intermittent hypoxia groups. Lewis lung carcinoma cells were injected into the right flank of each mouse after 1 week of intermittent hypoxia exposure. Sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate was injected intraperitoneally in the control + sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate and intermittent hypoxia + sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate groups. Tumor oxidative stress was evaluated by detection of malondialdehyde and superoxide dismutase. The apoptosis of tumor cells was evaluated by the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick-end labeling assay as well as by Western blot analysis of B-cell lymphoma 2-associated X protein and cleaved caspase-3 expression. Additionally, the expression of hypoxia-induced factor-1α, nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2, and nuclear factor kappa B was also evaluated by Western blot. Results: Compared with the control group, the intermittent hypoxia treatment significantly increased Lewis lung carcinoma tumor growth and oxidative stress (serum malondialdehyde) but decreased serum levels of SOD and pro-apoptotic markers (terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase dUTP nick-end labeling staining, B-cell lymphoma 2-associated X protein, and cleaved caspase-3). These changes were significantly attenuated by intraperitoneal injection of sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate. Lower nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 and higher nuclear factor kappa B levels in the intermittent hypoxia group were clearly reversed by sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate treatment. In addition, sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate administration decreased the high expression of hypoxia-induced factor-1α induced by intermittent hypoxia. Conclusion: Intermittent hypoxia treatment resulted in high oxidative stress and low apoptosis in Lewis lung carcinoma–implanted mice, which could be attenuated by sodium tanshinone IIA sulfonate administration possibly through a mechanism mediated by the nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2/nuclear factor kappa B signaling pathway.

Abstract
Objective: To analysis the clinical characteristics of"recurrence"RNA positive patients with Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and compared with those without"recurrence". Methods: 98 patients with COVID-19 in Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital and designated treatment hospitals in Quanzhou were included in this study from February 2020 to April 2020. There were 55 males and 43 females, aged from15 to 83 years, with a median age of 57.5 years, in which 20 cases were complicated with basic diseases. 15 of these patients had been diagnosed and hospitalized had been found as"recurrence"2019-nCoV RNA positive after discharge while the other 83 cases were all negative. The clinical classification of all patients was common type. Clinical data of the COVID-19 RNA"recurrence"patients were collected, and general situations, symptoms, laboratory examinations and CT images were also observed and analyzed. The patients were divided into 2019-nCoV"recurrent"group and 2019-nCoV"non-recurrent"group. There are 10 males and 5 females in 2019-nCoV"recurrent"group while 45 males and 38 females in"non-recurrent"group (χ²=0.800,P=0.371). The age of 2019-nCoV"recurrent"group (57±21) was higher than that of"non-recurrent"group(53±17). 8 of 15 the COVID-19"recurrent"group patients and 12 of 83"non-recurrent"patients have basic diseases. IgG and IgM of 2019-nCoV, IL-6, procalcitonin, ESR, CRP, BNP and other serum biochemical index levels were measured and compared between groups. Results: (1) The proportion of patients with common type of COVID-19 was 15.3% during 2-week medical observation after discharge. (2) All of the 2019-nCoV"recurrent"patients were hospitalized due to COVID-19 RNA positive, when they were quarantined after discharged from hospital. All the patients with mild symptoms which were clarified as common type, including 5 cases of fever, 6 cases of cough, 5 cases of expectoration, and 2 cases of slight shortness of breath. The time of symptoms appeared on (5.73±2.82) days after discharge. (3) The serum procalcitonin of all 2019-nCoV"recurrent"group patients were normal(all<0.05 ng/ml). The BNP of"recurrent"group (151±171) ng/L, was higher than that of"non-recurrent"group (63±78) ng/L (t = 3.207, P = 0.000). There was no significant difference in laboratory tests like leukocyte [(6.17±2.4) and (6.04±2.41)×109/L], lymphocyte[(1.59±0.52) and (1.32±0.64)×109/L], CRP [(12.54±28.20) and (21.74±25.63)mg/L], ESR [(31.07±28.72) and (34.10±22.16)mm/1 h], AST [(24.73±9.15) and (30.24±23.20)U/L], ALT [(22.60±12.82) and (36.47±34.12)U/L), LDH [(268±208) and (270±164)U/L], D-dimer [(0.60±0.50) and (0.84±0.98)μg/L], ferritin [(294±195) and (395±319)μg/L], IL-6 [(9.17±6.42) and (14.28±17.74)ng/L] and BUN (5.77±2.66) and (4.74±2.81)U/L] between"recurrent"and"non-recurrent"groups (all P>0.05). (4) In"recurrent"group, ground glass, exudative or solid lesions could be found in most of the chest CT performed on re-admission. Meanwhile, fibrosis lesion was relatively rare. (5) There were no secondary transmissions were found to be caused by the 2019-nCoV"recurrent"group patients. Conclusions: Most of the 2019-nCoV patients had underlying diseases and active lesions were still found in CT images, so the possibility of virus replication may still exist. All"recurrent"patients had mild illness which may suggest that they were in recovery stage, and no evidence of transmission is found.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze clinical features, prognosis and risk factors of bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) associated pulmonary hypertension (PH). Methods: Clinical data of 338 infants with BPD were collected from the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) in Shenzhen Maternity and Child Healthcare Hospital, Southern Medical University between January 2016 and December 2018. These infants were divided into PH group and non-PH group. The clinical features and prognosis were compared between these two groups by Chi-square test or nonparametric test. Risk factors for BPD-PH were analyzed with binary logistic regression model. Results: Among the 338 BPD infants, 314 had no PH (92.9%) and 24 had PH (7.1%), with an average gestational age of (27.1±1.8) weeks, and 206 were males and 132 females.PH infants had younger gestational age ((26.4±2.1) vs. (27.2±1.7) weeks, t=2.201, P=0.028) and lower birth weight ((798±255) vs. (1 003±240) g, t=4.030, P<0.01), compared to non-PH infants. Besides, duration of mechanical ventilation and non-invasive positive pressure ventilation were higher in PH group than that in non-PH group (14.3 (2.1, 43.7) vs. 0.5 (0, 4.7) d, Z=-4.553, P<0.01; 30.0 (22.5, 64.2) vs. 15.0 (7.0, 26.0) d, Z=-4.838, P<0.01). The proportions of maternal hypertension, small for gestational age (SGA), late onset sepsis, ventilator associated pneumonia, hemodynamically significant patent ductus arteriosus (hsPDA), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) requiring ligation, severe BPD and severe extrauterine growth retardation (EUGR) were higher in PH group than those in non-PH group ((20.8% (5/24) vs. 6.4% (20/314), 33.3% (8/24) vs. 7.6% (24/314), 54.2% (13/24) vs. 7.3% (23/314), 25.0% (6/24) vs. 6.1% (19/314), 75.0% (18/24) vs. 39.2% (123/314), 45.8% (11/24) vs. 1.9% (6/314), 66.7% (16/24) vs. 7.3% (23/314), 75.0% (18/24) vs. 45.5% (143/314), all P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that maternal hypertension (OR=12.950, 95%CI: 1.740-96.385), severe bronchopulmonary dysplasia (OR=10.160, 95%CI: 2.725-37.884), SGA (OR=4.992, 95%CI: 1.432-16.920), PDA requiring ligation (OR=19.802, 95%CI: 3.297-118.921), severe EUGR (OR=20.316, 95%CI: 2.221-185.853) were independent risk factors of BPD associated PH. In the 24 infants with PH, all 7 mild PH infants and 8 moderate PH infants survived, while 4 out of 9 severe PH infants died. Among the survivors, the longest duration of oxygen therapy was up to the corrected gestational age of 1 year and 2 months. Conclusions: PH is a severe complication of BPD, and associated with higher mortality and poor prognosis. Echocardiography screening and regular post-discharge follow up are recommended for BPD infants with risk factors of PH.

Abstract
Suitanes are a class of mechanically interlocked molecules (MIMs) that consist of two components: a body with limbs protruding outward and a suit that fits appropriately around it, so that there is no easy way for the suit to be removed from the body. Herein, we report the synthesis and characterization of a suit[3]ane, which contains a benzotrithiophene derivative (THBTT) with three protruding hexyl chains as the body and a 3-fold symmetric, extended pyridinium-based cage, namely, HexaCage6+, as the suit. Central to its realization is effective templation, provided by THBTT during cage formation, an observation that has been supported by the strong binding constant between benzotrithiophene (BTT) and the empty cage. The solid-state structure of the suit[3]ane reveals that the body is confined within the suit's cavity with its alkyl chains protruding outward through the orifices in the cage. Notably, such a seemingly unstable molecule, having three flexible alkyl chains as its only protruding limbs, does not dissociate after prolonged heating in CD3CN at 100 °C under pressure for 7 days. No evidence for guest exchange with the host was observed at this temperature in a 2:1 mixture of THBTT and HexaCage6+ in CD3CN. The results indicate that flexible protruding limbs are sufficient for a suit[3]ane to remain mechanically stable even at high temperatures in solution.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological characteristics, immunophenotype, molecular genetic characteristics and prognosis of the metaplastic thymoma (MT). Methods: The clinicopathological and follow-up data of five MT cases were collected at Fujian Provincial Hospital from 2008 to 2019. Immunohistochemical staining and MAML2 gene detection were performed, and the relevant literature was reviewed. Results: There were 2 males and 3 females, aged 36-64 years (mean age 52 years). The tumors ranged 3.2-7.3 cm in the greatest diameter (average 5.1 cm).Microscopically, the tumor showed a biphasic pattern with epithelial cells merging gradually with the spindle cell component. The two areas transited to each other or had obvious boundary. Both components showed mild atypia. No mitosis was observed in either area, and a small number of lymphocytes were observed in the stroma. Immunohistochemical staining showed that epithelioid cells were positive for CKpan, p63 and E-cadherin. Spindle cells were positive for vimentin and EMA, while the Ki-67 index was less than 5%, and lymphocytes were negative for TdT. MAML2 gene apart signal was detected in two of the cases (2/4) that were tested by FISH. Conclusions: MT is a low-grade malignant epithelioid thymic tumor. Its diagnosis and differential diagnosis are dependent on the morphological characteristics, immunohistochemical staining and MAML2 gene detection. The primary treatment option is surgical resection, with an overall good prognosis.

Abstract
Objective: To observe the changes of peri-implant tissue around the individualized abutment that was grinded from zirconia provisional crown in one year. Methods: In this research, a prosthodontic-driven virtual implant planning and immediate provisionalization were conducted in computer assisted design software. And computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) techniques were used to fabricate the zirconia provisional crown and surgical guide template before surgery. The implant was accurately placed with the surgical guide, and the zirconia provisional crown was immediately delivered after surgery. Three months later, the implant osseointegration was completed, and zirconia provisional crown was prepared intraorally to generate customized zirconia abutment for final prosthesis. The study included 30 patients with single anterior tooth loss, including 18 males and 12 females, aged from 26 to 50 years old, and the mean age was (36.2±6.1) years old. The patients were from the Center of Oral Implantology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University Medical College from January 2017 to February 2018. After cementation of the final prosthesis, the cases were followed up at 6 and 12 months time intervals. Implant survival rate, probing depth, bleeding on probing, marginal bone level loss and papilla index score (PIS) were recorded in every appointment. Results: The survival rate of 30 implants was 100%, and the probing depths were less than 5 mm. The bone resorption at 6 and 12 months follow-up after the final delivery was 0 (0, 0) mm and 0 (-0.2, 0) mm, respectively, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The PIS was 3.0 (2.0, 4.0), 3.0 (2.8, 4.0) and 3.0 (3.0, 4.0) on the final delivery, 6 and 12 months after final delivery, respectively. Conclusions: Marginal bone level and bone loss were stable with this new implant clinical protocol at the one-year follow-up.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the accuracy of diffusion weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI-MRI) combined with high resolution temporal bone CT (HRCT) in the location diagnosis of middle ear cholesteatoma and its value in the postoperative follow-up. Methods: 134 patients with inital cholesteatoma and 22 patients with suspected recurrent cholesteatoma were selected for HRCT, conventional MRI and DWI examination. Based on the intraoperative and pathological diagnosis, DWI and HRCT images were combined to evaluate the consistency between the lesion location and invasion area of the initial cholesteatoma and intraoperative lesions. The results of HRCT and DWI in the diagnosis of recurrent middle ear cholesteatoma were statistically analyzed to evaluate their diagnostic efficacy. Results: The accuracy rate of DWI combined with HRCT was 90.3%.The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of HRCT and DWI in the diagnosis of recurrent middle ear cholesteatoma were 27.8%, 75.0%, 83.3%, 18.8% and 100%, 75.0%, 94.7% and 100%, respectively, and the Kappa values consistent with the pathological results were 0.024 and 0.843, respectively. Chi-square test confirmed that there were differences in the diagnosis between groups (P<0.001). Conclusions: Combined with the high sensitivity of DWI and the high resolution of HRCT, the accuracy of preoperative positioning of the newly diagnosed cholesteatoma can be improved and surgery strategy can be guided. DWI is also of high diagnostic value for recurrent cholesteatoma in the middle ear.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the preparation and preliminary research on the characteristics of modified nano-bioglass hydrogel. Methods: (1) The nano-bioglass suspension was prepared by adding 67 mL nano-silica suspension into 400 mL saturated calcium hydroxide solution, and its suspension stability was observed. (2) The hydrogel with final mass fraction of 10% gelatin and 1% sodium alginate was prepared and set as control group. On the basis of the hydrogel in control group, the nano-bioglass suspension prepared in experiment (1) was added to prepare the hydrogel with the final mass fraction of 0.5% bioglass, 10% gelatin, and 1% sodium alginate, and the hydrogel was set as the experimental group. The gelling time at 4 and 25 ℃and the dissolution time at 37 ℃ of hydrogel in 2 groups were recorded, and the gelation at 4 and 25 ℃and dissolution condition at 37 ℃of the hydrogel in 2 groups were observed. The hydrogel in 2 groups were collected and cross-linked with 25 g/L calcium chloride solution after cold bath at 4 ℃, and the compression modulus was measured by Young's modulus tester. In addition, the hydrogel in 2 groups were collected and cross-linked as before, and freeze-drying hydrogel was made at -20 ℃. The relative volumes were measured and the porosity of hydrogel in 2 groups was calculated. The number of sample in the experiment was 3. (3) Fibroblasts (Fbs) were isolated and cultured from 12 C57BL/6J mice of 24 hours old and the morphology was observed by inverted microscope, and the third passage of Fbs were cultured for the following experiment. Fbs were collected to make single cell suspension with the cell concentration of 1×10(5)/mL. The single cell suspension was divided into experimental group and control group according the random number table (the same grouping method below), which were added with hydrogel in experimental group and control group prepared in experiment (2), respectively. At culture hour 12, 24, and 48, cells of 3 wells in each group were collected to detect the survival rate by cell counting kit 8 method. (4) The third passage Fbs were collected to prepare the single cell suspension with the cell concentration of (3.0~4.5)×10(7)/mL, which was divided into experimental group and control group, with 1 tube in each group. The single cell suspension in 2 groups were added with green fluorescent probe DIO for staining and then added with 9 mL hydrogel in experimental group and control group prepared in experiment (2), respectively. The mixed solution of Fbs and hydrogel in 2 groups was cross-linked as before to make cell-loaded hydrogel. On culture day 3, the survival of cells in the hydrogel was observed by laser confocal microscope. The cell-loaded hydrogel was prepared as before and without added with green fluorescent probe DIO. On culture day 7, the adhesion and extension of cells in the hydrogel were observed by scanning electron microscope. (5) Twelve 6-week-old female BALB/c-nu nude mice were collected and divided into experimental group and control group, with 6 mice in each group. A round full-thickness skin defect wound with diameter of 1 cm was made on the back of each mouse. Immediately after injury, one cell-loaded hydrogel block in the experimental group and the control group prepared in experiment (4) was placed in the wound of each mouse in the experimental group and the control group, respectively. On post injury day (PID) 7 and 14, 3 nude mice in each group were sacrificed to collect the wound and wound margin tissue, which was stained with hematoxylin-eosin to observe the wound healing. Data were statistically analyzed with independent sample t test. Results: (1) The nano-bioglass particles could be uniformly dispersed in water and had good suspension stability. (2) The hydrogels of the 2 groups were molten at 37 ℃, and no precipitation of particle was observed. The dissolving time of the hydrogel in the experimental group and the control group at 37 ℃ was 5 and 10 min, respectively. The gelation time of the hydrogel in the experimental group and the control group at 25 ℃ was 30 and 180 min, respectively, and the gelation time of the 2 groups at 4 ℃ was 5 and 10 min, respectively. The compression modulus of hydrogel in the experimental group was (53±6) kPa, which was significantly higher than (23±6) kPa in the control group (t=6.364, P<0.01). The porosity of the hydrogel in the experimental group was (86.1±2.1)%, which was similar to (88.2±4.4)% in the control group (t=1.210, P>0.05). (3) The cells were in long fusiform, and the proportion of nuclei was high, which was accorded with the morphological characteristics of Fbs. At culture hour 12, 24, and 48, the survival rate of cells in the experimental group was (84±4)%, (89±4)%, and (130±10)%, which was similar to (89±5)%, (90±4)%, and (130±11)% in the control group, respectively (t=1. 534, 0.611, 0.148, P>0.05). (4) On culture day 3, the cells in the two groups had complete morphology in the hydrogel, no nuclear lysis or disappearance were observed, the cytoplasm remained intact, and the fluorescence intensity of the cells in the experimental group was significantly stronger than that in the control group. On culture day 7, the cells in the experimental group and the control group adhered and stretched in the hydrogel, and the number of cells in the experimental group adhered to the hydrogel was significantly more than that in the control group. On PID 7, the wound area of the nude mice in the control group and the experimental group were reduced, the reduction area of mice in the experimental group was more obvious, and a large amount of inflammatory cells were seen in and around the wound in the 2 groups. On PID 14, the wound area of the nude mice in the control group was larger than that of the experimental group, and the number of inflammatory cells in and around the wound was significantly more than that in the experimental group. Conclusions: Nano-bioglass hydrogel possesses good physical, chemical, and biological properties, cell loading potential, and the ability to promote wound healing, which means it has a good potential in clinical application.

Abstract
Most initially perfect flowers of Toona ciliata Roem subsequently develop into functionally unisexual flowers and their relative positions in the same inflorescence could enhance the outcrossing system in this species. Here we investigated the mating system of this species. We used eight nuclear microsatellite markers and investigated the progeny of 125 mother trees from six populations naturally distributed in South China, with sample sizes ranging from 64 to 300 seeds. The multilocus outcrossing rate was 0.970 ± 0.063, and the single locus outcrossing rate was 0.859 ± 0.106, indicating the pattern of predominant outcrossing. Selfing was present in one population, but biparental inbreeding occurred in five populations. Inbreeding was absent in maternal parents, and correlations of selfing among families or among loci were generally insignificant. Positive correlation of paternity at multiple loci was significant in four populations, but was not consistent with the results at single loci. Population substructure occurred in male similarity between outcrosses only in one population. Population genetic differentaitaion was significant (Fst = 34.5%) and the effects of isolation-by-distance at the eight loci were significant among the six populations. These results provide evidence that self-comptability and inbreeding naturally occur in T. ciliata and indicate that inbreeding avoidance is necessary during genetic improvement and breeding of this endangered tree species.

Abstract
Mating systems will influence gene spread across the natural distribution of a plant species. Existing theories have not fully explored the role of mating systems on the wave of advance of an advantageous gene. Here, we develop a theory to account for the rate of spread of both advantageous and neutral genes under different mating systems, based on migration-selection processes. We show that a complex relationship exists between selfing rate and the speed of gene spread. The interaction of selfing with gametophytic selection shapes the traveling wave of the advantageous gene. Selfing can impede (or enhance) the spread of an advantageous gene in the presence (or absence) of gametophytic selection. The interaction of selfing with recombination shapes the spread of a neutral gene. Linkage disequilibrium, mainly generated by selfing, enhances the traveling wave of the neutral gene that is tightly linked with the selective gene. Recombination gradually breaks down the genetic hitchhiking effects along the direction of advantageous gene spread, yielding decreasing waves of advance of neutral genes. The stochastic process does not alter the pattern of selfing effects except for increasing the uncertainty of the waves of advance of both advantageous and neutral genes. This theory helps us to explain how mating systems act as a barrier to spread of adaptive and neutral genes, and to interpret species cohesion maintained by a low level of adaptive gene flow.

Abstract
Objective: To analyze and summarize the clinical characteristics of primary aldosteronism (PA) with concurrent adrenal Cushing's syndrome (ACS). Methods: The clinical, imaging and pathological data of 87 patients with PA admitted to Peking University First Hospital from January 1st, 2013 to December 31th, 2016 were reviewed. There were 45 males (51.7%) and 42 females (48.3%) with an average age of (52.7±10.5) years (range: 15-70 years). According to whether they were diagnosed with ACS, the patients were divided into PA with concurrent ACS group (n=11) and pure PA group (n=55). The clinical characteristics of PA with concurrent ACS were summarized. Results: Ten of the eleven patients in PA with concurrent ACS group were diagnosed with subclinical ACS. Compared with these in pure PA group, the patients in PA with concurrent ACS group were older [(55.6±9.1) years vs (48.4±10.2) years, P=0.033], with larger diameters of adrenal tumors [(2.3±1.6) cm vs (1.4±0.6) cm, P=0.015], higher serum cortisol levels in the circadian rhythm [158 (92, 217) nmol/L vs 71 (43, 128) nmol/L at 0∶00, P=0.004], lower plasma adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) levels in the circadian rhythm [0.80 (<0.22, 1.45) pmol/L vs 4.40 (2.58, 5.93) pmol/L at 8∶00, P<0.001; 0.25 (<0.22, 0.91) pmol/L vs 2.03 (0.74, 3.69) pmol/L at 16∶00, P<0.001;<0.22 (<0.22, 0.44) pmol/L vs 1.27 (<0.22, 2.66) pmol/L at 0∶00, P<0.001], and higher serum cortisol levels after 1 mg overnight dexamethasone suppression test [95 (73, 142) nmol/L vs 30 (22, 41) nmol/L, P<0.001]. Unilateral adrenalectomy was performed in 31 patients, of whom 3 patients in PA with concurrent ACS group (3/8) and 3 patients in pure PA group (3/23) presented with adrenal insufficiency and received glucocorticoid replacement therapy after adrenalectomy. Conclusions: PA with concurrent ACS is not rare in PA patients, which are mainly complicated with subclinical ACS and easily misdiagnosed. It is recommended that elderly PA patients with large adrenal tumors should be screened for ACS by means of cortisol and ACTH circadian rhythm and 1 mg overnight dexamethasone suppression test. Postoperative adrenal insufficiency is prone to occur in those patients, who should be followed up closely after adrenalectomy, and receive glucocorticoid replacement therapy in time.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological features, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and molecular alterations of malignant gastrointestinal neuroectodermal tumor (MGNET). Methods: Four cases of MGNET were collected at Fujian Provincial Hospital, from July 2013 to January 2019. H&E and immunohistochemical staining were retrospectively evaluated, together with genetic mutation analysis of EWSR1. The relevant literature was systematically reviewed. Results: There were two male and two female patients, with an age range of 34-81 (median 57) years. Tumor sizes ranged from 5-9 (median 6.8) cm. Microscopy showed diffuse and flaky growth of tumor cells, some of which were small and round. The tumor cells were arranged in solid, flaky, nested or pseudoadenoid patterns. The tumor cells were epithelioid, oval, short spindled, or small, with round or oval nuclei. The cytoplasm was eosinophilic or clear. Osteoclast-like multinucleated giant cells were scattered focally. Mitosis was about (2-10)/10 HPF. Immunohistochemically, the tumor cells were positive for S-100 protein (4/4), SOX10 (4/4), Syn (2/4), INI1 (4/4), H3K27Me3 (4/4) and vimentin (4/4). Ki-67 index was 15%-90%. Gene mutation detection confirmed EWSR1 mutation in all four cases, and C-KIT/PDGFRα genes were not mutated in two cases. Conclusions: MGNET is a rare high grade malignant soft tissue tumor. The diagnosis is based on clinicopathological, immunophenotypic, and molecular pathology features. The primary treatment for MGNET is complete surgical excision and chemotherapy; the prognosis is poor.

Abstract
One ring threaded by two other rings to form a non-intertwined ternary ring-in-rings motif is a challenging task in noncovalent synthesis. Constructing multicolor photoluminescence systems with tunable properties is also a fundamental research goal, which can lead to applications in multidimensional biological imaging, visual displays, and encryption materials. Herein, we describe the design and synthesis of binary and ternary ring-in-ring(s) complexes, based on an extended tetracationic cyclophane and cucurbit[8]uril. The formation of these complexes is accompanied by tunable multicolor fluorescence outputs. On mixing equimolar amounts of the cyclophane and cucurbit[8]uril, a 1:1 ring-in-ring complex is formed as a result of hydrophobic interactions associated with a favorable change in entropy. With the addition of another equivalent of cucurbit[8]uril, a 1:2 ring-in-rings complex is formed, facilitated by additional ion-dipole interactions involving the pyridinium units in the cyclophane and the carbonyl groups in cucurbit[8]uril. Because of the narrowing in the energy gaps of the cyclophane within the rigid hydrophobic cavities of cucurbit[8]urils, the binary and ternary ring-in-ring(s) complexes emit green and bright yellow fluorescence, respectively. A series of color-tunable emissions, such as sky blue, cyan, green, and yellow with increased fluorescence lifetimes, can be achieved by simply adding cucurbit[8]uril to an aqueous solution of the cyclophane. Notably, the smaller cyclobis(paraquat-p-phenylene), which contains the same p-xylylene linkers as the extended tetracationic cyclophane, does not form ring-in-ring(s) complexes with cucurbit[8]uril. The encapsulation of this extended tetracationic cyclophane by both one and two cucurbit[8]urils provides an incentive to design and synthesize more advanced supramolecular systems, as well as opening up a feasible approach toward achieving tunable multicolor photoluminescence with single chromophores.

Abstract
Two-photon excited near-infrared fluorescence materials have garnered considerable attention because of their superior optical penetration, higher spatial resolution, and lower optical scattering compared with other optical materials. Herein, a convenient and efficient supramolecular approach is used to synthesize a two-photon excited near-infrared emissive co-crystalline material. A naphthalenediimide-based triangular macrocycle and coronene form selectively two co-crystals. The triangle-shaped co-crystal emits deep-red fluorescence, while the quadrangle-shaped co-crystal displays deep-red and near-infrared emission centered on 668 nm, which represents a 162 nm red-shift compared with its precursors. Benefiting from intermolecular charge transfer interactions, the two co-crystals possess higher calculated two-photon absorption cross-sections than those of their individual constituents. Their two-photon absorption bands reach into the NIR-II region of the electromagnetic spectrum. The quadrangle-shaped co-crystal constitutes a unique material that exhibits two-photon absorption and near-infrared emission simultaneously. This co-crystallization strategy holds considerable promise for the future design and synthesis of more advanced optical materials.

Abstract
Jatropha curcasseeds are abundant in biodiesel, and low seed yields are linked to poor quality female flowers, which creates a bottleneck for Jatropha seed utilization. Therefore, identifying the genes associated with flowering is crucial for the genetic enrichment of seed yields. Here, we identified an AGAMOUS homologue gene (JcAG) from J. curcas. We found that reproductive organs had higher JcAG expression than vegetative organs, particularly the carpel. Rosette leaves were small and misshapen in 35S:JcAG transgenic lines in comparison with those in wild-type plants. JcAG overexpression caused an extremely early flowering, delayed perianth and stamen filament development, small flowers, and significantly shorter Arabidopsis plants with little fruit. In the JcAG-overexpressing line, the homeotic transformation of sepals into pistillate organs was observed, and floral meristem and organ identity genes were regulated. This study provides insights into the JcAG's function and benefits to our knowledge of the underlying the genetic mechanisms related to floral sex differentiation in Jatropha.

Abstract
Background Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is associated with increased cancer mortality, but the underlying mechanism remains poorly understood. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are confirmed to be involved in tumorigenesis and tumor progression. However, whether miRNAs have any differential expressions in OSA population needs to be elucidated. The aim of this experimental study was to determine the alterations of various miRNAs in xenograft mice exposed to chronic intermittent hypoxia (IH) which is considered a hallmark of OSA. Methods Sequencing was applied to screen the miRNAs of tumor tissues in xenograft mice exposed to IH and normoxia (control, CTL), respectively. Most differentially expressed miRNAs were verified by the quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) pathway were performed to reveal the functional enrichment of the target genes regulated by the miRNAs. Results A total of 485 miRNAs (259 novel miRNAs and 226 known miRNAs) were differentially expressed between the IH and CTL groups. 154 miRNAs were upregulated and 331 miRNAs were downregulated among them. The top 5 differentially expressed known (miR-767, miR-466f-5p, miR-5122, miR-124-3p and miR-590-3p) and novel (miR-140, miR-130, miR-301, miR-177 and miR-90) miRNAs were validated by qRT-PCR. MiR-767, miR-124-3p, miR-590-3p and all novel miRNAs were upregulated while miR-466f-5p and miR-5122 were downregulated in IH-induced xenograft mice. In addition, GO and KEGG pathway analysis demonstrated that the predicted target genes, which were regulated by differentially expressed miRNAs were markedly enriched in related biological processes and pathways, including biological processes, cell metabolic and biosynthetic processes and molecular functions. Conclusions Several altered miRNAs were detected in xenograft mice exposed to IH. The differentially expressed miRNAs in IH indicates that these miRNAs might involve in the molecular mechanism of tumorigenesis and tumor progression in OSA. Further studies are required to determinate the exact intermediation of certain miRNAs between IH and tumor progression.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinical, pathological and genetic characteristics of early-onset facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy type 1 (FSHD1), in order to increase awareness of the disease. Methods: In this retrospective study, the history of 3 patients, who were diagnosed with early-onset FSHD1 by molecular genetic test in Pediatric Outpatient Department of Peking University First Hospital from 4(th) June 2012 to 4(th) June 2018, were collected. Their clinical data, genotypes, phenotypes and pathological features of muscle biopsy were analyzed. Results: All the three patients were males at the age of 14 years, 11 years and 9 years 11 months, respectively, whose onset age was between infancy and early childhood and they got confirmed diagnosis within 4 to 10 years after the onset of illness. Their molecular genetic testing indicated that the number of D4Z4 repeat arrays located in 4qA were 2, 3 and 4, which was consistent with the characteristics of early-onset FSHD1. Their common clinical manifestations were facial, scapular and proximal lower limb muscle progressively and asymmetrically weakness. All patients had different severity of spine deformity and high-frequency dominant sensorineural hearing loss, however, the phenotype of the third patient with 4 D4Z4 repeats was significantly the most severe. Conclusions: Early-onset FSHD1 usually concealed onset and is difficult to diagnose. Its precise diagnosis depends on molecular genetic techniques, but the genotypes of 3 patients here are not corresponding to phenotypes strictly and it is necessary to accumulate more cases for further analysis in order to provide a more reliable basis for the relationship of genotype-phenotype and prognosis evaluation of the disease.

Abstract
Anthracnose is a serious fungal disease that primarily infects strawberry roots and stolons during development. Here, 91 isolates from different areas of Zhejiang province, China, were collected. Morphological characteristics were analyzed, and a phylogenetic analysis based on multiple genes (actin, internal transcribed spacer, calmodulin, glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, and chitin synthase) was performed. We found that all of the Colletotrichum species causing strawberry anthracnose belonged to the Colletotrichum gloeosporioides complex. Among them, we identified 48 isolates of C. fructicola, 21 isolates of C. siamense, 13 isolates of C. gloeosporioides, and 9 isolates of C. aenigma. C. siamense was distributed in the central and eastern regions of Zhejiang province (Hangzhou, Jinhua, Shaoxing, Ningbo, and Taizhou). This is the first report of C. siamense causing strawberry anthracnose in Zhejiang province. C. fructicola was the most dominant species causing strawberry anthracnose in Zhejiang province. We identified the four species causing strawberry anthracnose in Zhejiang province, which will improve our understanding of the strawberry anthracnose epidemic and will benefit the development of future control measures.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effect of comprehensive intervention combined with clinical preventive services and lifestyle adjustment on high-risk populations of cardiovascular disease. Methods: In 2015, 4 towns (streets) in Tongxiang City, of Zhejiang Province including Heshan Town, Longxiang Street, Wutong Street, and Fengming Street, were selected by using the typical sampling. The towns (streets) were allocated to the intervention group (Heshan Town and Longxiang Street) and the control group (Wutong Street and Fengming Street) by using the cluster random sampling. In each town (street), hypertension patients aged 50 to 74 years old who were taking community medicine management and with a 10-year cardiovascular disease risk ≥10% were recruited as subjects. There were 1 823 subjects in the intervention group and 1 883 in the control group. The intervention group was given a 1-year comprehensive intervention combining clinical preventive services and lifestyle adjustment, while the control group received routine chronic disease management. After the intervention, the final questionnaire investigation was conducted and health physical examination data were obtained. The death, acute coronary heart disease events and stroke incidence were the primary outcomes, and cardiovascular disease-related knowledge and behavior, clinical preventive services utilization, physical changes, blood fat index and 10-year cardiovascular disease risk were the secondary outcomes. The difference-in-difference model was used to evaluate the effects of interventions. Results: The age of subjects in the intervention and control group was (68.76±3.75) and (67.90±4.56) years old, respectively. After 1-year intervention, the incidence of mortality, acute coronary events and stroke in intervention group was 1.65% (30 cases), 0.27% (5 cases) and 2.69% (49 cases), respectively, which showed no statistical difference compared to the control group [1.33% (25 cases), 0.32% (6 cases) and 2.07% (39 cases)]. After adjusting for the age, gender, education, marital status, self-assessed family income level and situation of taking antihypertensive drugs, the difference-in-difference model showed that the body mass index and diastolic blood pressure in the intervention group decreased by 0.33 kg/m(2) and 1.49 mmHg (1 mmHg=0.133 kPa). Compared with the control group, daily vegetable consumption proportion, the awareness rates of aspirin, stains, salt intake, and oil intake increased by 4.76%, 26.22%, 29.56%, 10.80%, and 15.17%, respectively (P<0.05). Conclusion: After the 1-year comprehensive intervention, there was no significant change in primary outcomes among high-risk populations of cardiovascular disease. In secondary outcomes, body mass index and diastolic blood pressure declined and cardiovascular disease-related knowledge awareness increased.
