Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of oseltamivir in the treatment of suspected influenza in children. Method: A multicenter, randomized and open-label trial was conducted among 229 individuals with suspected influenza which were collected from the clinic of 5 hospitals in Guangdong province (Guangzhou Women and Children's Medical Center, Shenzhen Baoan District Maternity and Child Care Service Center, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College, Dongguan Maternity and Child Care Service Centre, Yuexiu District Children's Hospital of Guangzhou) from April to July 2015. They were randomized either to oseltamivir group (oseltamivir 30-75 mg, twice daily for 5 days) or control group who were given symptom relief medicines for 5 days. Result: No significant difference was found between two groups in influenza symptoms of the patients before the treatment(P>0.05). Altogether 229 individuals (114 in oseltamivir group, 115 in control group) were analyzed for efficacy, in which 73 individuals (42 oseltamivir, 31 control), 31.9%, were identified as influenza-infected through laboratory test. No significant difference was found between the two groups in the duration of fever although shortened. In the 229 individuals , the cumulative alleviation proportion between oseltamivir and control group was not significantly different (P>0.05): the median duration of illness was 69.9 hours (95% CI 65.3-91.5) in oseltamivir group and 75.4 hours (95%CI 63.9-91. 7) in control group; the median duration of fever was 40.4 hours (95%CI 31.5-53.4) in oseltamivir group and 44.0 hours (95%CI 33.2-50.0) in control group. In the 73 individuals, the cumulative alleviation proportion between oseltamivir and control group was significantly different (P<0.05). The median duration of illness was 61.2 hours (95%CI 48.0-121. 0) in oseltamivir group, being significantly shorter than that of 116.0 hours (95%CI 91.5-175.0) in control group. But it was not significantly different that the median duration of fever was 32.8 hours (95%CI 24.0-47.0 ) in oseltamivir group and 55.8 hours (95%CI 43.6-78.3 ) in control group (P>0.05). And the median duration of fever in 60 individuals (38 oseltamivir, 22 control) was significantly different between two groups(P<0.05), who had finished a course of taking oseltamivir in the 73 individuals, 34.8 hours (95%CI 24.0-48.5 ) in oseltamivir group being significantly shorter than that of 53.3 hours (95%CI 43.6-104.0 ) in control group. There was certain difference in side effects rate between the two groups (oseltamivir 10%, control 2%, P<0.05). The main side-effects were gastrointestinal symptoms (stomachache, diarrhea, poor appetite, vomiting). Conclusion: The duration of illness and fever in suspected influenza patients treated with oseltamivir was shorter than those in the patients treated with no oseltamivir, the difference was not statistically significant, when 31.9% was confirmed with positive result of virus test in suspected influenza in children. But in these patients with positive result of virus test, the duration of illness was significantly shortened with treatment with oseltamivir as compared with no treatment with oseltamivir, and it would be better if full oseltamivir course was completed for reducing the duration of fever. Oseltamivir treatment was safe with mild side effects.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the efficacy and safety of maintenance therapy with reduced dose of rhTPO in the patients with primary immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) who attained stable platelet (PLT) counts after daily administration of rhTPO. Methods: Treatment was started with a daily administration of rhTPO (300 U/kg) for 2 consecutive weeks. Patients who attained stable PLT≥50×10(9)/L were enrolled to maintenance therapy starting with every other day administration of rhTPO, then adjusted dose interval to maintain platelet count (30-100) ×10(9)/L. Results: A total of 91 eligible patients were enrolled. Fourteen patients discontinued the study due to noncompliance (12/14) and investigator decision (2/14) . Among 77 patients who completed the study, 38 patients with the administration of rhTPO at every other day or less could maintain PLT≥30×10(9)/L for 12 weeks. The percentage of patients with a platelet response (PLT≥30×10(9)/L) at 4(th) week, 8(th) week and 12(th) week of maintain therapy was 92.6% (63/68) , 82.7% (43/52) and 85.0% (34/40) , respectively. Median platelet counts remained in the range of (70-124) ×10(9)/L. The overall incidence of rhTPO-related adverse events was 7.7%. All the adverse events were generally mild. Conclusion: Extending the dose interval of rhTPO is feasible to maintain stable platelet count in the patients with ITP, but the optimal dose interval is uncertain and might vary with individuals.

Abstract
High melting point Ni3Sn4 joints for the die attachment of SiC-based high temperature power devices was successfully achieved using an ultrasound-induced transient liquid phase (TLP) bonding process within a remarkably short bonding time of 8s. The formed intermetallic joints, which are completely composed of the refined equiaxial Ni3Sn4 grains with the average diameter of 2μm, perform the average shear strength of 26.7MPa. The sonochemical effects of ultrasonic waves dominate the mechanism and kinetics of the rapid formation of Ni3Sn4 joints.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIMS We aimed to evaluate the association between famine exposure during early life and obesity and obesitymax (obese at the highest weight) in adulthood. METHODS AND RESULTS Data were from two population-based cross-sectional surveys conducted in 2006 and 2009 in Qingdao, China. A total of 8185 subjects born between 1/1/1941 and 12/31/1971 were categorized into unexposed (born between 01/01/1962 and 12/31/1971), fetal/infant exposed (born between 01/01/1959 and 12/31/1961), childhood exposed (born between 01/01/1949 and 12/31/1958) and adolescence exposed (born between 01/01/1941 and 12/31/1948) according to their age when exposed to the Chinese famine from 1959 to 1961. Obesity was defined as BMI (body mass index) ≥28.0 and obesitymax was defined as BMImax (BMI at the highest weight) ≥28.0. We compared fetal/infant exposed, childhood exposed and adolescence exposed to the unexposed using logistic regression models to assess the effect of famine exposure on later obesity and obesitymax. Fetal/infant exposed (OR = 1.59, P < 0.001), childhood exposed (OR = 1.42, P < 0.01) and adolescence exposed (OR = 1.86, P < 0.01) all had higher risks of obesity than the unexposed. Exposure groups were more likely to be obese at their highest weight than the unexposed, and ORs (95%CIs) for obesitymax in the fetal/infant exposed, childhood exposed and adolescence exposed were 1.49(1.20-1.86), 1.24(1.02-1.49) and 1.64 (1.40-1.93), respectively. Similar results were found in both men and women. CONCLUSION Exposure to famine in early life was associated with increased risks of obesity and obesitymax in adulthood. Preventing undernutrition in early life appears beneficial to reduce the prevalence of later obesity.

Abstract
Objective: To explored the effects of lumbar dorsal muscle damage on local lumbar vertebral bone quality. Methods: Thirty SD female rats, at age of 20 weeks, were randomly divided into three groups: control group, or say pseudo surgery group, an incision in the back were performed as CNT; bilateral erector spinal muscle group in which group bilateral lumbar erector spinal muscle were removed as RESM; castration group in which bilateral ovaries were resected as OVX.After three months, bone mineral density, microscopic CT and vertebral compression test were taken in lumbar vertebral (L4-6) in turn. Results: After three months bone mineral density in RESM group was obviously lower than the control group [(0.211±0.028) g/cm2 vs(0.253±0.021) g/cm2, P<0.01], however, there was no significant difference between OVX and RESM[(0.197±0.015) g/cm2 vs(0.211±0.028) g/cm2, P>0.05]. In microscopic CT three-dimensional reconstruction and bone histomorphometry analysis, compared with control group CNT , in the experimental groups OVX and RESM, bone trabecula of vertebral bodies were more sparse, the overall number and interconnection of trabecula were less.Especially in the OVX, osteoporotic trend of trabecular network trend is more obvious. In vertebral compression test, the maximum load, energy absorption, the maximum stress and elastic modulus in both OVX and RESM were significantly reduced (P<0.01). In the RESM the above four biomechanical parameters were significantly higher than those of OVX (P<0.05). Conclusion: Integrity and vigor of paravertebral muscles would be of great significance to maintain adjacent vertebral bone quality.Resection of lumbar dorsal muscles could lead to a significant decrease of local vertebral bone quality.Damage and atrophy of lumbar dorsal muscle could cause osteoporosis of vertebral bodies.

Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the long- term safety and efficacy of high- dose daunorubicin(DNR)(60 mg·m-2·d-1)combined with standard dose of cytarabine(DA)as induction therapy in patients under 65 years old with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia(AML). Methods: The complete remission(CR)rate, disease free survival(DFS), overall survival(OS)and side effects of therapy were retrospectively assayed in 116 patients with newly diagnosed AML who were younger than 65 years old and received daunorubicin(60 mg · m-2·d-1)combined with cytarabine(Ara- C 200 mg ·m-2·d-1)as induction therapy at Peking Union Medical College Hospital during July 2012 to February 2016. Results: Of 116 patients, 78 cases(67.2%)achieved CR after first course of induction treatment, 94(81.0%)achieved CR after two courses of induction, and early death occurred in only 3 patients(2.6%)during the first course of induction treatment. Only 1 patient had asymptomatic decreased ejection fraction after 6 months of induction treatment. Eighty nine patients received 1 to 4 courses of consolidation. With a median follow-up of 24(1-46)months, the median DFS was 25 months and median OS was not achieved yet. Cox regression multifactor analysis showed genetics risk groups was the only risk factor for DFS(HR=0.258, 95% CI 0.100- 0.664, P=0.005), while genetics risk groups(HR=0.309, 95% CI 0.126- 0.756, P=0.010)and whether patients received more than one cycle of high dose of Ara-C as consolidation therapy(HR= 0.370, 95% CI 0.179- 0.765, P=0.007)were independent factors associated with OS. Conclusions: In young adults with AML, intensifying induction therapy with a high daily dose of daunorubicin(60 mg/m2)could improve the rate of complete remission without obvious side effects.

Abstract
Development of the eyelid requires coordination of the cellular processes involved in proliferation, cell size alteration, migration, and cell death. C57BL/6J-corneal opacity (B6-Co) mice are mutant mice generated by the administration of N-ethyl-N-nitrosourea (100 mg/kg). They exhibit the eyelids open at birth phenotype, abnormal round cell shape from tightened F-actin bundles in leading edge keratinocytes at E16.5, and gradual corneal opacity with neovessels. The tip of the leading edge in B6-Co mice did not move forward, and demonstrated a sharp peak shape without obvious directionality. Analysis of the biological characteristics of B6-Co mice demonstrated that abnormal migration of keratinocytes could affect eyelid development, but proliferation and apoptosis in B6-Co mice had no effect. Mutant gene mapping and sequence analysis demonstrated that in B6-Co mice, adenosine was inserted into the untranslated regions, between 3030 and 3031, in the mRNA 3'-terminal of Fgf10. In addition, guanine 7112 was substituted by adenine in the Mtap1B mRNA, and an A2333T mutation was identified in Mtap1B. Quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction analysis showed that expression of the Hbegf gene was significantly down-regulated in the eyelids of B6- Co mice at E16.5, compared to B6 mice. However, the expression of Rock1, Map3k1, and Jnk1 genes did not show any significant changes. Abnormal keratinocyte migration and down-regulated expression of the Hbegf gene might be associated with impaired eyelid development in B6-Co mice.

Abstract
The incidence and clinical relevance of subdural haematoma (SDH) in patients with spontaneous intracranial hypotension (SIH) remain undetermined. We reviewed 40 consecutive SIH patients (18 female, 22 male) in a tertiary hospital. Eight (20%) of them had SDH and nine (23%), non-haemorrhagic subdural collections. The presence of SDH was associated with higher frequencies of male gender, recurrence of severe headache and neurological deficits. Outcomes were satisfactory after supportive care or epidural blood patches except for one SDH patient, who developed transtentorial herniation resulting in Duret haemorrhage and infarctions of bilateral posterior cerebral artery territories. In conclusion, subdural fluid collections were common in patients with SIH. SDH was associated with headache worsening or neurological deficits. Patients with SDH generally recovered well; however, serious sequela might occur.

Abstract
Minimizing power loss of a neutral beam imposes modification of the accelerator of the ion source for further improvement of the beam optics. The beam optics can be improved by focusing beamlets. The injection efficiencies by the steering of ion beamlets are investigated numerically to find the optimum modification of the accelerator design of the NBI-1B ion source. The beam power loss was reduced by aperture displacement of three edge beamlets arrays considering power loadings on the beamline components. Successful testing and operation of the ion source at 60 keV/84% of injection efficiency led to the possibility of enhancing the system capability to a 2.4 MW power level at 100 keV/1.9 μP.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Amblyopic deficits in the primary and secondary visual cortex have been demonstrated broadly. However, the cognitive process at late stage originating in higher brain area in amblyopes hasn't been studied yet. The aim of this study was to investigate the late cognitive process at the frontal lobe in anisometropic amblyopes of a distinct degree, using visual event-related potential (ERP) techniques. METHODS Thirteen severe anisometropic amblyopes, 14 mild-to-moderate anisometropic amblyopes, and 13 control subjects participated in this study. Oddball paradigm (three stimuli: target, novel, and non-target stimuli) of low spatial frequency (1 cycle per degree, CPD) was used to elicit brain ERP waves. Reaction time, accuracy, latency, and amplitude of P3a waves evoked by novel stimuli at Fz electrode (the central electrode at frontal lobe), were analyzed statistically. RESULTS Neither accuracy nor reaction time showed significant difference among the three groups. The latency of N200 wave showed no significant difference. The latency of P3a wave was delayed in the amblyopes compared with healthy controls, but there was no significant difference between severe and mild-to-moderate amblyopes. P3a amplitude in mild-to-moderate amblyopes was significantly higher than in controls and severe amblyopes. CONCLUSIONS Our findings indicated that the cognitive process in anisometropic amblyopes was impaired, and the compensative effect of P3a amplitude was shown in mild-to-moderate amblyopes. P3a visual ERP could become a useful tool to investigate cognitive processing in amblyopes. Hippokratia 2016, 20(1): 60-66.

Abstract
Osteosarcoma is a highly malignant cancer that often appears in teenagers. It is the most frequently occurring primary bone tumor, and can easily metastasize, resulting in high mortality. MicroRNAs express abnormally in osteosarcoma, and may function as oncogenes or tumor suppressors. Recent studies showed that microRNA184 (miR-184) is abnormally expressed in multiple tumors, and is involved in tumor cell growth, differentiation, invasion, and metastasis. Nevertheless, the role of miR-184 in osteosarcoma cells remains unknown. We evaluated the expression and function of microRNA184 in osteosarcoma cells. SOSP-M osteosarcoma cells were divided into normal control, miR-184 mimic, and miR-184 inhibitor groups. Real-time PCR was applied to detect miR-184 expression. The 3-(4,5-dimethylthaizol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay was used to evaluate cell proliferation. Transwell assays were performed to detect changes in cell invasion ability. Compared with the control group, miR-184 expression was significantly increased in the miR-184 mimic group (P < 0.05). After miR-184 inhibitor transfection, miR-184 expression was obviously reduced (P < 0.05). Tumor cell proliferation was enhanced in the miR-184 mimic group (P < 0.05), whereas miR-184 inhibition suppressed cell proliferation (P < 0.05). Furthermore, tumor cell invasion increased after miR-184 mimic transfection (P < 0.05), and decreased after inhibiting miR-184 (P < 0.05). MiR-184 promotes tumor cell proliferation and invasion, and may represent a new biological target for osteosarcoma.

Abstract
We report on the demonstration of photodetectors based on large scale two-dimensional molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) transition metal dichalcogenides. Excellent film uniformity and precise control of the MoS2 thickness down to a monolayer (~0.75nm) were achieved by magnetron sputtering synthesis approach. In particular, the photodetectors integrated with five MoS2 monolayers exhibit a high photoresponsivity of 1.8 A/W, an external quantum efficiency exceeding 260%, and a photodetectivity of ~5 x 10(8) Jones for a wavelength of 850 nm, surpassing the performance of mechanically exfoliated based photodetectors.

OBJECTIVE This study aims to study the biological and biomechanical characteristics of the middle cerebral artery (MCA) in aged and estrogen-intervened aged rats, thereby providing biomechanical basis for clinics. MATERIALS AND METHODS Thirty 18-month-old Sprague Dawley (SD) rats, 30 18-month-old estrogen-intervened SD rats, and 30 four-month-old SD rats were studied. The estrogen-intervened rats were given estradiol benzoate on the fifth feeding day. Thirty-four days after the feeding, the serum of each rat was obtained. The radioimmunoassay was performed for the content determination of serum E2, ER, malondialdehyde (MDA), and superoxide dismutase (SOD). The tensile test was performed to evaluate the MCA of each rat. RESULTS Through the estrogen intervention, the serum contents of E2, ER, SOD, and MDA in old rats were restored to normal levels. The maximum stress, maximum strain, and elastic limit of the MCA in the aged estrogen-intervened rat group were greater than those of the non-intervened aged rat group, with a significant difference (p < 0.05). The elastic modulus in the aged estrogen-intervened rat group was less than that of the non-intervened aged rat group, with a significant difference (p < 0.05). CONCLUSION E2 intervention can improve the flexibility, toughness, and compliance of MCA in aged rats.

Abstract
Several studies have found that microsomal transfer protein (MTP) may be important in the development and progression of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). In this meta-analysis, we evaluated the relationships between a common polymorphism (-493G>T, rs1800591 G>T) in the MTP gene and NAFLD risk. The PubMed, CISCOM, CINAHL, Web of Science, Google Scholar, EBSCO, Cochrane Library, and CBM databases were searched for relevant articles published before October 1, 2013 without any language restrictions. Meta-analysis was conducted using the STATA 12.0 software. Crude odds ratios (ORs) with 95% confidence intervals (95%CIs) were calculated. Eleven case-control studies were included in this meta-analysis. A total of 636 NAFLD patients and 918 healthy control subjects were examined in this meta-analysis. Our results indicate that the MTP -493G/T polymorphism increases the risk of NAFLD (G allele vs T allele: OR = 1.39, 95%CI = 1.17-1.65, P < 0.001; GG + GT vs TT: OR = 1.46, 95%CI = 1.02-2.09, P = 0.038, respectively). Subgroup analyses indicated that the MTP -493G/T polymorphism was associated with an increased risk of NAFLD in population-based, hospital-based, polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP), and large sample-size subgroups under the allele and dominant models (all P < 0.05). However, we found no association between non-PCR-RFLP polymorphism and small sample-size subgroups (all P > 0.05). Our findings indicate that the MTP -493G/ T polymorphism may contribute to the development of NAFLD. Thus, the MTP -493G/T polymorphism may be a biomarker for the early detection of NAFLD.

Abstract
The declining number of physician scientists is an alarming issue. A systematic review of all existing programs described in the literature was performed, so as to highlight which programs may serve as the best models for the training of successful physician scientists. Multiple databases were searched, and 1,294 articles related to physician scientist training were identified. Preference was given to studies that looked at number of confirmed publications and/or research grants as primary outcomes. Thirteen programs were identified in nine studies. Eighty-three percent of Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) graduates, 77% of Clinician Investigator Training Program (CI) graduates, and only 16% of Medical Fellows Program graduates entered a career in academics. Seventy-eight percent of MSTP graduates succeeded in obtaining National Institute of Health (NIH) grants, while only 15% of Mayo Clinic National Research Service Award-T32 graduates obtained NIH grants. MSTP physician scientists who graduated in 1990 had 13.5 ± 12.5 publications, while MSTP physician scientists who graduated in 1975 had 51.2 ± 38.3 publications. Additionally, graduates from the Mayo Clinic's MD-PhD Program, the CI Program, and the NSRA Program had 18.2 ± 20.1, 26.5 ± 24.5, and 17.9 ± 26.3 publications, respectively. MSTP is a successful model for the training of physician scientists in the United States, but training at the postgraduate level also shows promising outcomes. An increase in the number of positions available for training at the postgraduate level should be considered.

Abstract
Molybdenum is a refractory metal that is stable in a body-centred cubic structure at all temperatures before melting. Plastic deformation via structural transitions has never been reported for pure molybdenum, while transformation coupled with plasticity is well known for many alloys and ceramics. Here we demonstrate a structural transformation accompanied by shear deformation from an original <001>-oriented body-centred cubic structure to a <110>-oriented face-centred cubic lattice, captured at crack tips during the straining of molybdenum inside a transmission electron microscope at room temperature. The face-centred cubic domains then revert into <111>-oriented body-centred cubic domains, equivalent to a lattice rotation of 54.7°, and ~15.4% tensile strain is reached. The face-centred cubic structure appears to be a well-defined metastable state, as evidenced by scanning transmission electron microscopy and nanodiffraction, the Nishiyama–Wassermann and Kurdjumov–Sachs relationships between the face-centred cubic and body-centred cubic structures and molecular dynamics simulations. Our findings reveal a deformation mechanism for elemental metals under high-stress deformation conditions. Structural phase transitions are known to accommodate plastic deformation in some metals and ceramics. Here, the authors observe the in situ transformation of body-centred cubic molybdenum to face-centred cubic, and finally to body-centred cubic, allowing for 15.4% tensile strain accommodation.

Abstract
The accurate measurement of fast neutral particles from high energy ion tails is very important since it is a measure of ion cyclotron range of frequency (ICRF) or neutral beam (NB) ion heating. In KSTAR, fast neutral measurements have been carried out using a compact neutral particle analyzer based on the silicon photo diode since 2010. As a result, the fast neutral spectrum was observed consistent with the ion temperature, diamagnetic energy, and neutron flux in 2011. However, there was fast neutral count beyond the injected neutral beam energy in NB-only heating. Since it is difficult to expect the count unless the temperature is high enough to diffuse the fast ions beyond the beam energy it was required to identify what it is. During the 2012 campaign, the two-channel diode detectors with and without a particle stopper were used to distinguish fast neutral counts and other counts by a hard X-ray or neutrons. As a result, it was confirmed that the high energy component beyond the beam energy originated from a hard X-ray or neutrons. Finally, it was observed that faster neutrals are generated by ICRF heating and enhanced by electron cyclotron heating compared to NB-only heating.

Abstract
Nucleoside triphosphate pyrophosphohydrolase (NTP-PPase) functions as one of the mechanisms to guarantee the fidelity of DNA replication through the cleavage of non-canonical nucleotides into di- or monophosphates. Human NTP-PPase is poorly understood and investigated. In the present study, by using tissue microarrays with the paired cancer and adjacent regions, we found that with the prevalent expression of dCTP pyrophosphohydrase (DCTPP1) in the cytosol and nucleus in tumors investigated, DCTPP1 was inclined to accumulate in the nucleus of cancer cells compared to the paired adjacent tissue cells in multiple carcinomas including lung, breast, liver, cervical, gastric and esophagus cancer. More significantly, the higher DCTPP1 expression in the nucleus of lung, gastric and esophagus cancer cells was associated with histological subtypes. The nucleic accumulation of DCTPP1 was apparently observed as well when tumor cell line MCF-7 was treated with H2O2in vitro. Considering the roles of DCTPP1 on restricting the concentration of non-canonical nucleotides in the nucleotide pool, accumulation of DCTPP1 in the nucleus of tumor cells might suffice for maintaining the proper DNA replication in order to fulfill the requirement for the survival and proliferation of tumor cells.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Agitation and depression are among the commonest behavioural and psychological symptoms exhibited by Alzheimer's disease patients. However, their pathophysiology remains unclear. We therefore investigated the relationship between the brain metabolism in the posterior cingulate gyrus and the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, and agitation and depression in patients diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. METHODS We recruited 26 patients (14 women and 12 men) with a mean age of 75 years and probable Alzheimer's disease. All patients completed the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), the Geriatric Depression Scale-Short Form (GDS) assessment, and the Cohen-Mansfield Agitation Inventory (CMAI) in order to evaluate cognition, depression, and agitation, respectively. All subjects underwent magnetic resonance imaging and (1)H-magnetic resonance spectroscopy of the brain. The ratios of N-acetylaspartate (NAA), choline (Cho), and myo-inositol (mI) to creatine (Cr) in the posterior cingulate gyrus and the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex were measured and compared with neuropsychological test results. RESULTS The MMSE scores correlated positively with the NAA/Cr ratio in the left posterior cingulate gyrus (r = 0.56; p = 0.001). The CMAI scores correlated negatively with the NAA/Cr ratio in the left posterior cingulate gyrus (r = -0.46; p = 0.02). The GDS scores correlated positively with the Cho/Cr ratio in the left dorsolateral prefrontal cortex (r = 0.59; p = 0.01), and mI/Cr in both left (r = 0.47; p = 0.03) and right (r = 0.47; p = 0.03) cingulate gyri. CONCLUSIONS Agitation and depression levels correlated with different neurochemical metabolites in specific brain areas. We conclude that various neuropsychiatric symptoms might have separate pathophysiologies.

Abstract
The complex structural transformation in crystals under static pressure or shock loading has been a subject of long-standing interest to materials scientists and physicists. The polymorphic transformation is of particular importance for iron (Fe), due to its technological and sociological significance in the development of human civilization, as well as its prominent presence in the earth's core. The martensitic transformation α→ε (bcc→hcp) in iron under shock-loading, due to its reversible and transient nature, requires non-trivial detective work to uncover its occurrence. Here we reveal refined microstructural fingerprints, needle-like colonies and three sets of {112}<111> twins with a threefold symmetry, with tell-tale features that are indicative of two sequential martensitic transformations in the reversible α→ε phase transition, even though no ε is retained in the post-shock samples. The signature orientation relationships are consistent with previously-proposed transformation mechanisms, and the unique microstructural fingerprints enable a quantitative assessment of the volume fraction transformed.

Abstract
PURPOSE To investigate the potential risk factors related to the recurrence of cervical cancer following ovarian transposition. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 105 patients with cervical carcinoma were retrospectively analyzed. Each patient underwent surgical therapy in combination with ovarian transposition from September 2000 to November 2009. The potential risk factors for recurrence following ovarian transposition were analyzed. RESULTS The average age of the 105 patients was 38.7 years. Twelve patients were in Stage IA, 65 in IB, 12 in Stage IIA, and 16 in Stage IIB. Twenty-five patients had well-differentiated cancer (G1). Forty-eight patients had moderately-differentiated cancer (G2), and 32 patients had poorly-differentiated cancer (G3). Ninety-seven cases were squamous cell carcinoma, three were adenocarcinoma, four were small cell carcinoma, and one case was adenosquamous carcinoma. Five patients (4.8%) had a recurrence, two of whom (1.9%) had ovarian metastasis. Univariate analysis showed that the pathological type (p = 0.005) and degree of differentiation (p = 0.001) were potential risk factors for recurrence of cervical carcinoma following ovarian transposition. Cancer embolus in vessels or lymphatic metastasis was observed in four of the five patients who suffered a recurrence. CONCLUSION Pathological type, differentiated degree, and cancer embolus in vessels or lymphatic metastasis were identified as potential risk factors for the recurrence of cervical carcinoma after ovarian transposition.
