Abstract
Se can enhance lactation performance by improving nutrient utilization and antioxidant status. However, sodium selenite (SS) can be reduced to non-absorbable elemental Se in the rumen, thereby reducing the intestinal availability of Se. The study investigated the impacts of SS and coated SS (CSS) supplementation on lactation performance, nutrient digestibility, ruminal fermentation and microbiota in dairy cows. Sixty multiparous Holstein dairy cows were blocked by parity, daily milk yield and days in milk and randomly assigned to five treatments: control, SS addition (0.3 mg Se/kg DM as SS addition) or CSS addition (0.1, 0.2 and 0.3 mg Se/kg DM as CSS addition for low CSS (LCSS), medium CSS (MCSS) and high CSS (HCSS), respectively). Experiment period was 110 days with 20 days of adaptation and 90 days of sample collection. Dry matter intake was higher for MCSS and HCSS compared with control. Yields of milk, milk fat and milk protein and feed efficiency were higher for MCSS and HCSS than for control, SS and LCSS. Digestibility of DM and organic matter was highest for CSS addition, followed by SS addition and then control. Digestibility of CP was higher for MCSS and HCSS than for control, SS and LCSS. Higher digestibility of ether extract, NDF and ADF was observed for SS or CSS addition. Ruminal pH decreased with dietary Se addition. Acetate to propionate ratio and ammonia N were lower, and total volatile fatty acids (VFAs) concentration was greater for SS, MCSS and HCSS than control. Ruminal H ion concentration was highest for MCSS and HCSS and lowest for control. Activities of cellobiase, carboxymethyl-cellulase, xylanase and protease and copies of total bacteria, fungi, Ruminococcus flavefaciens, Fibrobacter succinogenes and Ruminococcus amylophilus increased with SS or CSS addition. Activity of α-amylase, copies of protozoa, Ruminococcus albus and Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens and serum glucose, total protein, albumin and glutathione peroxidase were higher for SS, MCSS and HCSS than for control and LCSS. Dietary SS or CSS supplementation elevated blood Se concentration and total antioxidant capacity activity. The data implied that milk yield was elevated due to the increase in total tract nutrient digestibility, total VFA concentration and microorganism population with 0.2 or 0.3 mg Se/kg DM from CSS supplementation in dairy cows. Compared with SS, HCSS addition was more efficient in promoting lactation performance of dairy cows.

Abstract
Magnetic multilayers offer diverse opportunities for the development of ultrafast functional devices through advanced interface and layer engineering. Nevertheless, a method for determining their dynamic properties as a function of depth throughout such stacks has remained elusive. By probing the ferromagnetic resonance modes with element-selective soft x-ray resonant reflectivity, we gain access to the magnetization dynamics as a function of depth. Most notably, using reflectometry ferromagnetic resonance, we find a phase lag between the coupled ferromagnetic layers in [CoFeB/MgO/Ta]_{4} multilayers that is invisible to other techniques. The use of reflectometry ferromagnetic resonance enables the time-resolved and depth-resolved probing of the complex magnetization dynamics of a wide range of functional magnetic heterostructures with absorption edges in the soft x-ray wavelength regime.

Abstract
Objective: To understand the awareness of smoking hazards and intention of smoking concession in residents aged 18-65 years in Beijing, and provide scientific evidence for the development and improvement of tobacco control policies and measures. Methods: Data were collected from the 2017 Beijing Non-communicable and Chronic Disease surveillance. A multi-stage stratified cluster sampling method was used to take samples from 165 communities in 16 districts of Beijing. Logistic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors. Results: Among 11 594 participants, 49.93% had no intention of smoking concession. The percentage of refusing smoking concession was higher in men (50.39%) than in women (43.01%), the difference was significant ( χ(2)=14.211, P=0.002), and higher in suburban residents (56.78%) than in urban residents (45.30%), the difference was significant ( χ(2)=51.977, P<0.001). For the smoking cessation motivation, "illness" was the reason for more former smokers (29.88%) compared with current smokers (11.50%), the difference was significant ( χ(2)=85.865, P<0.001). The awareness rates of smoking hazards was higher in women (34.97%) than in men (32.63%), the difference was significant (Z=5.612, P<0.001), higher in suburban residents (35.44%) than in urban residents (33.03%), the difference was significant (Z=-3.734, P<0.001), and higher in never smokers (35.15%) than in smokers (30.06%), the difference was significant ( χ(2)=62.277, P=0.005). Multiple logistic regression analysis results showed people with general awareness (OR=0.61, 95%CI: 0.39-0.94) and poor awareness (OR=0.67, 95%CI: 0.50-0.90) of smoking hazards were less likely to quit smoking and people with general awareness (OR=0.64, 95%CI: 0.53-0.76) and poor awareness (OR=0.87, 95%CI: 0.78-0.98) of smoking hazards were more likely to smoke. Conclusions: Smokers aged 18-65 in Beijing had low willingness for smoking cessation. Health problem was main consideration for smoking cessation. Never-smokers had better awareness of smoking hazards than smokers, and the awareness of smoking hazards was an influencing factor of smoking status.

Abstract
Stimulator of interferon genes (STING) is an endoplasmic reticulum adaptor facilitating innate immune signaling. Activation of STING leads to expression of interferons (IFNs) and pro-inflammatory cytokines which is associated with antiviral and antitumor responses. It is imperative to discovery potent compounds that precisely modulate STING. Herein, we describe the discovery of triazoloquinoxaline 1a as a novel STING agonist via Structure-based Virtual Screening. Specifically, biochemical and cell-based assays suggested that 1a stimulated concentration-dependently mRNA expression of IFNβ, CXCL-10 and IL-6. Furthermore, 1a significantly induced phosphorylation of STING, TANK-binding kinases1 (TBK1) and interferon regulatory factor 3 (IRF3), suggesting the activation of STING and its downstream TBK1-IRF3 signaling axis. In addition, 1a activated secretion of secreted alkaline phosphatase (SEAP) in dose-dependent manner and EC50 was 16.77 ± 3.814 μM, which is comparable with EC50 of 2'3'-cGAMP (9.212 ± 2.229 μM). These studies revealed that 1a is a promising STING agonist possessing the potential to be further developed for antiviral and antitumor treatment.

Abstract
Background: This systematic review pooled all the latest data and reviewed all the relevant studies to look into the effect of multisensory integration on the balance function in the elderly. Methods: PubMed, Web of Science and Scopus were searched to find eligible studies published prior to May 2019. The studies were limited to those published in Chinese and English language. The quality of the included studies was assessed against the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale or an 11-item checklist, as recommended by Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ). Any disagreement among reviewers was resolved by comparing notes and reaching a consensus. Results: Eight hundred thirty-nine records were identified and 17 of them were included for systematic review. The result supported our assumption that multisensory integration works on balance function in the elderly. All the 17 studies were believed to be of high or moderate quality. Conclusions: The systematic review found that the impairment of multisensory integration could predispose elderly people to fall. Accurate assessment of multisensory integration can help the elderly identify the impaired balance function and minimize the risk of fall. And our results provide a new basis for further understanding of balance maintenance mechanism. Further research is warranted to explore the change in brain areas related to multisensory integration in the elderly.

Abstract
Polymer composites with electrically conductive fillers have been developed as mechanically flexible, easily processable electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding materials. Although there are a few elastomeric composites with nanostructured silvers and carbon nanotubes showing moderate stretchability, their EMI shielding effectiveness (SE) deteriorates consistently with stretching. Here, a highly stretchable polymer composite embedded with a three-dimensional (3D) liquid-metal (LM) network exhibiting substantial increases of EMI SE when stretched is reported, which matches the EMI SE of metallic plates over an exceptionally broad frequency range of 2.65-40 GHz. The electrical conductivities achieved in the 3D LM composite are among the state-of-the-art in stretchable conductors under large mechanical deformations. With skin-like elastic compliance and toughness, the material provides a route to meet the demands for emerging soft and human-friendly electronics.

Abstract
Heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) plays a very important role in facilitating the replication of many viruses. Until now, little has been known about the role of Hsp90 in Bombyx mori virus infection. In this study, we explored the role of BmHsp90 in B. mori nucleopolyhedrovirus (BmNPV) replication. We found that BmHsp90 inhibition by geldanamycin (GA) significantly reduced the BmNPV titre, the protein expression level of BmNPV nucleocapsid protein 39 (VP39) and the transcript level of BmNPV genes. Silencing the hsp90 gene in BmN cells by small interfering RNA suppressed BmNPV replication whereas overexpression of hsp90 promoted the replication of BmNPV. After inhibition of Hsp90, the expression of three key genes [signal transducing activator of transcription (stat), suppressor of cytokine signalling protein 2 (socs2), socs6] involved in the Janus kinase/STAT pathway significantly changed, with up-regulation of stat and down-regulation of socs2 and socs6. In addition, the expression of two antiapoptosis genes, BmNPV inhibitor of apoptosis protein1 (BmNPV-iap1) and Bmiap2, was greatly decreased in GA-treated cells, whereas their expression was significantly increased in hsp90-overexpressed silkworm larvae. Our results indicated that inhibition of Hsp90 can suppress BmNPV proliferation in B. mori. Our findings may provide new clues to elucidate the molecular mechanisms of silkworm-virus interactions.

Abstract
Objectives: To examine the effect of VAE and open surgery on the postoperativelocal recurrence of benign phyllodes tumors of breast and to investigate the clinical efficacy of VAE in the treatment of benign phyllodes tumors. Methods: The clinical data of 128 patients with benign phyllodes tumors of breast admitted to the Guangdong Women and Children Hospital from January 2013 to January 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were female, aged (37.7±9.1) years (range: 16 to 56 years). Eighty patients underwent ultrasound-guided VAE (minimally invasive group) and 48 patients underwent open surgery (open group). The t-test, χ(2) test or Fisher exact probability method were used to compare the clinical characteristics of the two groups of patients. Logistic regression was used to analyze the prognostic factors of postoperative local recurrence. Results: The maximum diameter of tumor in the minimally invasive group was smaller than that in the open group ((20.6±7.4) mm vs. (42.0±2.0) mm, t=-7.173, P=0.000). The follow-up time was (36.4±1.8) months (range: 12 to 71 months). There were 7 cases of local recurrences during the follow-up period. The local recurrence rates in the minimally invasive and open groups were 5.0% (4/80) and 6.3% (3/48). The results of multivariate analysis showed that the maximum tumor diameter of 25 mm was an independent prognosis factor for postoperativelocal recurrence (OR=0.122, 95%CI: 0.016 to 0.901, P=0.039). While surgical procedure, age, menopausal status and history of fibroadenomas in the ipsilateral breast is not an independent prognostic factor for postoperative local recurrence. In the minimally invasive surgery group, the local recurrence rates were 2.9% (2/69) and 2/11 in patients with tumor maximum diameters<25 mm and ≥25 mm, respectively. Conclusions: Local recurrence of breast benign phyllodes tumors is closely related to the tumor size. For patients with tumor diameter<25 mm, the postoperative local recurrence rate of VAE is low, which can be used in clinical practice. Intraoperative complete resection to achieve a negative surgical margin should be guaranteed to avoid local recurrence.

Abstract
Lithium metal is considered the ultimate anode material for future rechargeable batteries1,2, but the development of Li metal-based rechargeable batteries has achieved only limited success due to uncontrollable Li dendrite growth3-7. In a broad class of all-solid-state Li batteries, one approach to suppress Li dendrite growth has been the use of mechanically stiff solid electrolytes8,9. However, Li dendrites still grow through them10,11. Resolving this issue requires a fundamental understanding of the growth and associated electro-chemo-mechanical behaviour of Li dendrites. Here, we report in situ growth observation and stress measurement of individual Li whiskers, the primary Li dendrite morphologies12. We combine an atomic force microscope with an environmental transmission electron microscope in a novel experimental set-up. At room temperature, a submicrometre whisker grows under an applied voltage (overpotential) against the atomic force microscope tip, generating a growth stress up to 130 MPa; this value is substantially higher than the stresses previously reported for bulk13 and micrometre-sized Li14. The measured yield strength of Li whiskers under pure mechanical loading reaches as high as 244 MPa. Our results provide quantitative benchmarks for the design of Li dendrite growth suppression strategies in all-solid-state batteries.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Current post-resuscitation guidelines recommend oxygen titration in adults with the return of spontaneous circulation after cardiac arrest. However, the optimal peripheral oxygen saturation (SpO2) is still unclear for post-cardiac arrest care. METHODS We conducted a retrospective observational study of prospectively collected data of all cardiac arrest patients admitted to the intensive care units between 2014 and 2015. The main exposure was SpO2, which were interfaced from bedside vital signs monitors as 1-min averages, and archived as 5-min median values. The proportion of time spent in different SpO2 categories was included in separate multivariable regression models along with covariates. The primary outcome measure was hospital mortality and the proportion of discharged home as the secondary outcome was reported. RESULTS 2836 post-cardiac arrest patients in ICUs of 156 hospitals were included. 1235 (44%) patients died during hospitalization and 818 (29%) patients discharged home. With multivariate regression analysis, the proportion of time spent in SpO2 of ≤89%, 90%, 91%, and 92% were associated with higher hospital mortality. The proportion of time spent in SpO2 of 95%, 96%, and 97% were associated with a higher proportion of discharged home outcome, but not associated with hospital mortality. CONCLUSIONS In this retrospective observational study, the optimal SpO2 for patients admitted to the intensive care unit after cardiac arrest may be 95-97%. Further investigation is warranted to determine if targeting SpO2 of 95-97% would improve patient-centered outcomes after cardiac arrest.

Abstract
Hybrid core-shell catalysts possess superior physiochemical properties that are closely related to their atomic structures. Here, we report novel diffusion phenomena in an Au-Ni2P yolk-shell structure using in situ heating transmission electron microscopy (TEM) analysis. The Au yolks can dissolve completely into and diffuse across the Ni2P shell at 500 °C, resulting in an inward volume expansion of the Ni2P shell and shrinkage of the void. The dissolved Au is subsequently segregated, forming a new crystal on the outer layer of the shell. A detailed atomic-scale resolution imaging revealed that the outward Au diffusion and aggregation occur when the Au yolks are epitaxial to the Ni2P shells. Theoretical analysis shows that the outward diffusion and deposition of Au atoms is primarily driven by the excess epitaxial strain energy.

Abstract
Cancer metastasis has been believed as a genetically programmed process that is commonly marked by biochemical signals. Here using extracellular matrix control of cellular mechanics, we establish that cellular force threshold can also mark in vitro metastatic phenotypic change and malignant transformation in HCT-8 cell colonies. We observe that for prolonged culture time the HCT-8 cell colonies disperse into individual malignant cells, and the metastatic-like dispersion depends on both cell-seeding gel stiffness and colony size. Cellular force microscopies show that gel stiffness and colony size are also two key parameters that modulate cellular forces, suggesting the correlations between the cellular forces and the metastatic phenotypic change. Using our recently developed biophysical model, we construct an extracellular traction phase diagram in the stiffness-size space, filled with experimental data on the colony behavior. From the phase diagram we identify a phase boundary as a traction force threshold above which the metastatic phenotypic transition occurs and below which the cell colonies remain cohesive. Our finding suggests that the traction threshold can be regarded as an effective mechano-marker for the onset of the metastatic-like dispersion and malignant transformation.

Abstract
Chromium telluride compounds are promising ferromagnets for proximity coupling to magnetic topological insulators (MTIs) of the Cr-doped (Bi,Sb)2(Se,Te)3 class of materials as they share the same elements, thus simplifying thin film growth, as well as due to their compatible crystal structure. Recently, it has been demonstrated that high quality (001)-oriented Cr2Te3 thin films with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy can be grown on c-plane sapphire substrate. Here, we present a magnetic and soft x-ray absorption spectroscopy study of the chemical and magnetic properties of Cr2Te3 thin films. X-ray magnetic circular dichroism (XMCD) measured at the Cr L2,3 edges gives information about the local electronic and magnetic structure of the Cr ions. We further demonstrate the overgrowth of Cr2Te3 (001) thin films by high-quality Cr-doped Sb2Te3 films. The magnetic properties of the layers have been characterized and our results provide a starting point for refining the physical models of the complex magnetic ordering in Cr2Te3 thin films, and their integration into advanced MTI heterostructures for quantum device applications.

Abstract
The non-receptor tyrosine kinase SRC is a key mediator of cellular protumorigenic signals. SRC is aberrantly over-expressed and activated in more than 80% of colorectal cancer (CRC) patients, therefore regulation of its stability and activity is essential. Here, we report a significant down regulation of SNX10 (sorting nexin 10) in human CRC tissues, which is closely related to tumor differentiation, TNM stage, lymph node metastasis and survival period. SNX10 deficiency in normal and neoplastic colorectal epithelial cells promotes initiation and progression of CRC in mice. SNX10 controls SRC levels by mediating autophagosome-lysosome fusion and SRC recruitment for autophagic degradation. These mechanisms ensure proper controlling of the activities of SRC-STAT3 and SRC-CTNNB1 signaling pathways by up-regulating SNX10 expression under stress conditions. Abstract
Silicon (Si) remains one of the most promising anode materials for next-generation lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). The key challenge for Si anodes is the huge volume change during lithiation-delithiation cycles that leads to electrode pulverization and rapid capacity fading. Here, we report a hierarchical porous Si (hp-Si) with a tailored porous structure [tunable primary pores (20-200 nm) and secondary nanopores (∼3-10 nm)] that can effectively minimize the volume expansion. An in situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) study revealed that the hp-Si material with the same porosity but larger primary pores can more effectively accommodate lithiation-induced volume expansion, giving rise to a much reduced apparent volume expansion on both material and electrode levels. Chemomechanical modeling revealed that because of the different relative stiffnesses of the lithiated and unlithiated Si phases, the primary pore size plays a key role in accommodating the volume expansion of lithiated Si. The higher structural stability of the hp-Si materials with larger primary pores also maintains the fast diffusion channels of the connective pores, giving rise to better power capability and capacity retention upon electrochemical cycling. Our findings point toward an optimized hp-Si material with minimal volume change during electrochemical cycling for next-generation LIBs.

Abstract
Objective: To construct the mmu-miR-155 eukaryotic overexpression vector pmR-155 and to investigate its effect on HBV replication and expression of PTEN in vivo. Methods: The mmu-mir-146a precursor gene fragment pre-mmu-mir-146a was amplified by PCR, then connected to the pmR-mCherry plasmid vector after double enzyme digestion, the accuracy of recombinant vector was verified by colony PCR、double enzyme digestion and sequencing; then the recombinant vector was transfected HBV transgene mice(Experimental Group)with hydrodynamics-based injection via vena caudalis, and pmR-mCherry plasmid、PBS were respectively transfected into the mice as Empty plasmid Group、Blank Group. The concentration of IFN-γ in the serum was detected by ELISA. The expression of SOCS1、PTEN mRNA in the liver was detected by qPCR at 30d post-transfectioned. The Western blot was performed to detect the changes in SOCS1、PTEN、HBX in the liver tissue at 30 d post-transfectioned. The results were analyzed with Student's t-test, or one-way analysis of variance and the least significant difference test. Results: the colony PCR、double enzyme digestion and sequencing verified that the gene was inserted into the pmR-mCherry vector. Compared with Blank Group, the expression of miR-155 in the Experimental Group was significantly increased(t = 8.90, P < 0.01); the concentration of IFN-γ in the Experimental Group was significantly increased(F = 26.58, P < 0.01); the mRNA(F(SOCS1 mRNA) = 19.72, P < 0.01; F(PTEN mRNA) = 7.38, P < 0.05) and protein(F(SOCS1) = 50.30, P < 0.01; F(PTEN) = 129.00, P < 0.01) expression of COCS1、PTEN was significantly decreased in the Experimental group and the protein of HBX was also significantly(F(HBX) = 77.97, P < 0.01). Conclusion: The pmR-155 eukaryotic overexpression vector is successfully constructed, this recombinant vector can express miR-155 stably; miR-155 can down-regulate cocs1、PTEN gene expression and up-regulate the expression of IFN-γ, it can inhibit the replication of HBV and a potential targets to treating hepatocellular carcinoma.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the diagnostic role of complement C3, complement C4, C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin (PCT), white blood cell count (WBC), neutrophil CD64 (nCD64) index, lymphocyte subsets and their combination in differentiating bacterial infection from disease relapse in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). METHODS The above biomarkers in 36 hospitalized SLE patients with bacterial infection and 45 with lupus flare without infection were retrospectively studied. Bacterial infection was proven by positive cultures or typical clinical symptoms and signs combined with positive response to antibiotics. Lupus flare was defined as three points greater than their previous SLE disease activity index score. The diagnostic value for bacterial infection was evaluated by the areas under the receiver operating characteristic curves (AUC) and a novel bioscore system combining multiple biomarkers. RESULTS Increased CRP ( p = 0.049), WBC ( p = 0.028) and nCD64 index ( p = 0.034) were observed in the infected group and C3 ( p = 0.001), C4 ( p = 0.016) and B cells levels ( p = 0.010) were significantly reduced. The AUC for the above six biomarkers had no significant difference. Interestingly, the combination of nCD64 index, CRP, WBC, C3 and C4 improved significantly the diagnostic potential of SLE infection (AUC 0.783 (interquartile range 0.672, 0.871), p < 0.001; sensitivity 85.29% specificity 62.50%). In the bioscore system including the above six biomarkers, the bacterial infection rate in patients with bioscore ≤2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 were 0.00, 39.29, 59.10, 61.54 and 100.00%, respectively. CONCLUSION The combination of nCD64 index, C3, C4, CRP, WBC and B cells in a bioscore is useful to diagnose bacterial infection in SLE.

Abstract
The electrocaloric effect (ECE) offers a unique mechanism to realize environmentally friendly and highly efficient solid-state cooling that completely differs from the conventional vapor-compression refrigeration. Here a new class of hybrid films composed of ferroelectric polymer nanowire array and anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membrane is reported, which displays pronounced ECE driven by relatively low electric fields. Under confinement and orientation of AAO channels on the crystallization of the polymer, the polymer nanowire array shows substantially enhanced ECE that is about three times that of the corresponding thin films. Simultaneously, the integrated AAO membrane forms thermally conducting channels for the polymer nanowires, enabling the efficient transfer of cooling energy and operation of the EC materials under high frequencies, which are unattainable based on the currently available EC structures. Consequently, the integrated polymer nanowire-AAO hybrid film exhibits the state-of-the-art cooling power density, outperforming the current ferroelectric polymers, ceramics, and composites. This work opens a new route for the development of scalable, high-performance EC materials for next-generation refrigeration.

Abstract
Chaperone-mediated autophagy (CMA) characterized by the selective degradation of target proteins has been linked with tumorigenesis in recent years. Here, we explored the function of sorting nexin 10 (SNX10), a protein involved in maintaining endosome/lysosome homeostasis, in mediating CMA activity and its impact on the progression of mouse inflammation-driven colorectal cancer. Our results revealed that SNX10 deficiency increased the activation of CMA by preventing the degradation of lysosomal LAMP-2A. In SNX10 KO cells, we disclosed that p21Cip1/WAF1, a master effector in various tumor suppressor pathways, is a substrate of CMA, and decrease of p21Cip1/WAF1 caused by SNX10-mediated CMA activation contributes to HCT116 cell proliferation and survival. Moreover, we found that SNX10 KO promoted tumorigenesis in the mouse colorectum which could be restored by SNX10 over-expression. Furthermore, SNX10 was remarkably down-regulated in human CRC tissues which showed the increased activity of CMA and decreased expression of p21Cip1/WAF1. These findings suggest that SNX10 acts as a tumor suppressor in the mouse colorectum and drives inflammation-associated colorectal cancer by a chaperone-mediated autophagy mechanism.

Abstract
Hepatic gluconeogenesis makes a significant contribution to the pathogenesis of obesity and its related insulin resistance. Cystathionine γ-lyase (CSE; also cystathionase), a principal hydrogen sulfide (H2S)-synthesizing enzyme in the liver, is involved in glucose and lipid metabolism disorders. However, the roles and precise mechanisms of CSE/H2S in obesity and its related insulin resistance remain obscure. Here we show that CSE knockout exacerbated high-fat diet-induced mouse obesity as well as its related insulin resistance. Further study elucidated that the inhibition of insulin and AMPK signaling pathways by CSE deficiency resulted in nuclear accumulation of Forkhead box protein O1 and subsequently promoted hepatic gluconeogenesis. These phenomena can be reversed by NaHS supplementation. However, in wild-type mice, NaHS treatment ameliorates high fat diet-induced obesity and metabolism disorders, indicating that maintaining an appropriate level of H2S is critical for its mutual change of positive and negative effects of obesity-associated insulin resistance.
