Abstract
We report, for the first time, the long-awaited detection of diffuse gamma rays with energies between 100 TeV and 1 PeV in the Galactic disk. Particularly, all gamma rays above 398 TeV are observed apart from known TeV gamma-ray sources and compatible with expectations from the hadronic emission scenario in which gamma rays originate from the decay of π^{0}'s produced through the interaction of protons with the interstellar medium in the Galaxy. This is strong evidence that cosmic rays are accelerated beyond PeV energies in our Galaxy and spread over the Galactic disk.

Abstract
Microwave reflectometry diagnostics have been widely used to measure density profiles in fusion plasma. However, the high sensitivity of the diagnostics to plasma turbulence often results in large radial deviations in the edge density profile and causes difficulty in profile evaluation. To improve the performance of profile evaluation, a modified RANdom SAmple Consensus (RANSAC) method has been applied to fit the density profiles measured by reflectometry on the experimental advanced superconducting tokamak. Compared with the traditional least-squares method, the modified RANSAC method is much more efficient and robust in fitting the experimental profiles. Furthermore, a combination of RANSAC and a genetic algorithm (GA-RANSAC) is used to further optimize the profile evaluation procedure. The results show that this GA-RANSAC method yields better performance and stabler convergence than the modified RANSAC alone.

Abstract
Abstract Objective To study the relationship between material mechanics and bone material parameters of rat skulls and their correlation with age by examination of the parameters. Methods Forty-eight healthy male SD rats were divided into 2, 4, 6, 8, 17, 26, 52 and 104 week groups according to their age. Each group had six rats. The right cranium was compressed by KD Ⅱ-0.2 microcomputer controlled electronic universal testing machine, and material mechanics parameters (ultimate load, compression strength and compression modulus) were measured, then the skull slices were cut off and scanned by Micro-CT system to detect bone material parameters (skull thickness, bone mineral density, bone volume, and trabecular thickness). Results The differences in ultimate load, compression strength and compression modulus among all groups had statistical significance (P<0.05), and were positively correlated with age within 26 weeks (P<0.05). The differences in skull thickness, bone mineral density, bone volume and trabecular thickness among all groups had statistical significance (P<0.05), and were positively correlated with age within 52 weeks (P<0.05). All material mechanics parameters were positively correlated with bone material parameters (P<0.05). Conclusion There is a positive correlation between bone material parameters (skull thickness, bone mineral density, bone volume, trabecular thickness), material mechanics parameter (skull ultimate load, compression strength, compression modulus) and age in a certain range, which can be used to infer age.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of microRNA-124 (miR-124) in laryngeal carcinoma (LC) and to explore the underlying mechanisms. PATIENTS AND METHODS LC tissues were collected from 98 patients diagnosed with LC in our hospital. Quantitative Real Time-Polymerase Chain Reaction (qRT-PCR) analysis was used to detect the expression levels of miR-124 and procollagen-lysine, 2-oxoglutarate 5-dioxygenase 2 (PLOD2) in LC tissues and cell lines. Bioinformatics (TargetScan and miRDB) and double Luciferase assay were performed to predict and confirm the relationship between PLOD2 and miR-124 in LC, respectively. MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide) assay and the colony formation assay were designed to measure the proliferation ability of the cells. Additionally, transwell and wound healing assays were used to explore cell migration and invasion. RESULTS MiR-124 was found significantly downregulated both in LC tissues and cells. PLOD2 was predicted and confirmed as the target gene of miR-124 in LC. By regulating the protein expression of PLOD2, miR-124 could significantly suppress the proliferation, migration, and invasion of cells. However, the transfection of PLOD2 could partially offset the effects of miR-124 on LC cells. CONCLUSIONS MiR-124 was involved in regulating the malignant behaviors of LC cells. Furthermore, the miR-124/PLOD2 axis might become a potential target for the treatment of LC.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Accurate and robust pathological image analysis for colorectal cancer (CRC) diagnosis is time-consuming and knowledge-intensive, but is essential for CRC patients' treatment. The current heavy workload of pathologists in clinics/hospitals may easily lead to unconscious misdiagnosis of CRC based on daily image analyses. METHODS Based on a state-of-the-art transfer-learned deep convolutional neural network in artificial intelligence (AI), we proposed a novel patch aggregation strategy for clinic CRC diagnosis using weakly labeled pathological whole-slide image (WSI) patches. This approach was trained and validated using an unprecedented and enormously large number of 170,099 patches, > 14,680 WSIs, from > 9631 subjects that covered diverse and representative clinical cases from multi-independent-sources across China, the USA, and Germany. RESULTS Our innovative AI tool consistently and nearly perfectly agreed with (average Kappa statistic 0.896) and even often better than most of the experienced expert pathologists when tested in diagnosing CRC WSIs from multicenters. The average area under the receiver operating characteristics curve (AUC) of AI was greater than that of the pathologists (0.988 vs 0.970) and achieved the best performance among the application of other AI methods to CRC diagnosis. Our AI-generated heatmap highlights the image regions of cancer tissue/cells. CONCLUSIONS This first-ever generalizable AI system can handle large amounts of WSIs consistently and robustly without potential bias due to fatigue commonly experienced by clinical pathologists. It will drastically alleviate the heavy clinical burden of daily pathology diagnosis and improve the treatment for CRC patients. This tool is generalizable to other cancer diagnosis based on image recognition.

Abstract
Curcumin (Cur) has been used extensively in dietary supplement with antioxidant and anti-apoptotic properties. Although dibutyl phthalate (DBP) has adverse effects on the kidney, any association between DBP exposure and the role of Cur is unclear. We tested the hypothesis that exposure to DBP has adverse consequences on renal dysfunction in mice and the potential protective role of Cur in decreasing DBP-induced renal dysfunction via inhibiting oxidative stress and apoptosis. Kidney function, oxidative stress biomarkers, and apoptosis factors as well as Bcl-2 and Bax were investigated. The results showed a marked increase of renal dysfunction, oxidative stress and apoptosis level after DBP exposure compared to the control. While administration of Cur to DBP-treated mice may reduce these adverse biochemical changes compared with DBP-alone group. Overall, these results suggest that oxidative stress and apoptosis are involved in DBP-induced renal disorder, whereas Cur plays a protective role in inhibiting these two pathways.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Osteosarcoma (OS) is a frequent bone malignancy. Long non-coding RNA myocardial infarction associated transcript (MIAT) has been reported to be involved in the development of human cancers, including OS. However, the mechanism underlying MIAT in OS progression remains largely unclear. PATIENTS AND METHODS The expression levels of MIAT and sineoculis homeobox homolog 1 (SIX1) in OS tissues and cells were detected by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blot. Cell viability, apoptosis, migration and invasion of OS cells were determined by MTT, flow cytometry and trans-well assays, respectively. The target interaction among MIAT, miR-141-3p and SIX1 was analyzed by bioinformatics analysis and luciferase reporter assay. Phosphatidylinositide 3-kinases (PI3K)/protein kinase B (AKT) pathway was evaluated by Western blot. RESULTS MIAT and SIX1 expression levels were enhanced in OS tissues and cells. Knockdown of MIAT or SIX1 repressed cell viability, migration and invasion but promoted apoptosis in OS cells. Moreover, overexpression of SIX1 reversed the inhibitive role of MIAT silence in OS progression. Furthermore, MIAT could increase SIX1 expression by competitively sponging miR-141-3p. Besides, inhibition of MIAT blocked PI3K/AKT pathway by decreasing SIX1 in OS cells. CONCLUSIONS MIAT silence suppresses OS progression through inactivating PI3K/AKT signaling by sponging miR-141-3p to regulate SIX1, indicating a novel target for the treatment of OS.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinicopathological features, diagnosis and differential diagnosis of notochordal tumors. Methods: The clinical, radiologic and pathologic data of 48 notochordal tumors were collected from 2008 to 2019 at Shanghai Jiaotong University Sixth People's Hospital. Expression of cytokertin, S-100 protein, vimentin, brachyury and INI1 was detected by immunohistochemistry. The pathologic differential diagnoses and biologic behavior of various types of notochordal tumors were analyzed using the new standard in the 5th edition of WHO tumor classification. Results: Four cases of benign notochordal cell tumor were confined to vertebral body. Histopathologically, they lacked lobular architecture and extracellular myxoid matrix. The tumor cells were vacuolated and had centrally or peripherally located round to oval nuclei, with small nucleoli, without atypia, mimicking mature adipocytes. No mitotic figures were seen. Two cases of poorly differentiated chordoma, from patients aged 12 years and 21 years respectively, were located in cervical vertebra, and were composed of cohesive sheets or nests of epithelioid cells, with focal rhabdoid morphology. There was relatively abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm and scattered cytoplasmic vacuoles. The moderately pleomorphic nuclei were round to ovoid with vesicular chromatin and mitotic figures could be seen. Extracellular myxoid stroma was observed focally. Forty cases of conventional chordoma and two cases of extra-axis chordoma had similar histologic features. All 48 cases expressed cytokeretin, 45 cases expressed brachyury, and two poorly differentiated tumors showed loss of INI1/SMARCB1. Conclusions: There are four subtypes of chordomas: conventional, dedifferentiated, poorly differentiated and extra-axis. Chondroid chordoma is no longer thought to be a distinct entity. Each type has its unique clinicopathological characteristics. Brachyury is highly specific and sensitive for the diagnosis of various notochordal tumors. Poorly differentiated chordoma shows distinct clinicopathological features, including young age and loss of immunohistochemical expression of INI1/SMARCB1, and its diagnosis requires the combined detection of brachyury and INI1/SMARCB1.

Abstract
Divertor detachment offers a promising solution to the challenge of plasma-wall interactions for steady-state operation of fusion reactors. Here, we demonstrate the excellent compatibility of actively controlled full divertor detachment with a high-performance (βN ~ 3, H98 ~ 1.5) core plasma, using high-βp (poloidal beta, βp > 2) scenario characterized by a sustained core internal transport barrier (ITB) and a modest edge transport barrier (ETB) in DIII-D tokamak. The high-βp high-confinement scenario facilitates divertor detachment which, in turn, promotes the development of an even stronger ITB at large radius with a weaker ETB. This self-organized synergy between ITB and ETB, leads to a net gain in energy confinement, in contrast to the net confinement loss caused by divertor detachment in standard H-modes. These results show the potential of integrating excellent core plasma performance with an efficient divertor solution, an essential step towards steady-state operation of reactor-grade plasmas.

Abstract
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers worldwide, and colonoscopy has proven to be a preferable modality for screening and surveillance of colorectal cancer. This review discusses the clinical application of artificial intelligence (AI) and computer-aided diagnosis for automated colonoscopic detection and diagnosis of colorectal polyps for better understanding of the application of AI-based computer-aided diagnosis systems especially in terms of machine learning, deep learning and convolutional neural network for screening and surveillance of colorectal cancer.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the clinical features of infertile women with non-classic 21-hydroxylase deficiency (21-OHD). Methods: The study enrolled 21 infertile women with non-classic 21-OHD in Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from January 2009 to December 2018. The clinical presentation, endocrine hormone, glucolipid metabolism and treatment outcome were retrospectively analyzed. The diagnosis of non-classic 21-OHD was comprehensively based on clinical and hormonal characteristics. Results: Among 21 cases, the age was (29.9±2.9) years, the mean age at menarche was (13.6±2.0) years, body mass index was (22.1±2.9) kg/m2, and 38% (8/21) had oligomenorrhea. Hirsutism was diagnosed in 3 cases (14%, 3/21). Clitoromegaly was seen in 14% (3/21) and polycystic ovarian morphology was found in 33% (7/21) of the patients. The mean serum level of basal progesterone was (11.3±21.0) nmol/L, with 48% (10/21) having high basal progesterone level; after therapy by glucocorticoid, the level of progesterone was (1.9±2.0) nmol/L. Serum 17-hydroxyprogesterone concentration was (66.4±123.6) nmol/L; after therapy by glucocorticoid, it was (2.4±1.8) nmol/L. In the study increased testosterone, androstenedione and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate were present in 62% (13/21), 52% (11/21) and 43% (9/21), respectively; and 52% (11/21) of patients manifested androgen excess and basal progesterone elevation; androgen levels decreased after therapy by glucocorticoid. The pregnancy rate was 76% (16/21). Out of 19 pregnancies, 6/19 ended in spontaneous miscarriages. Conclusions: Infertile women with non-classic 21-OHD are characterized by hyperandrogenism and basal progesterone elevation, whereas gonad axis disorder is not apparent. After no response to conventional therapy, adult infertile women with non-classic 21-OHD could achieve a desirable pregnancy outcome with proper treatment of glucocorticoid.

Abstract
Introduction: Cell biology studies, animal models and other data suggest a role for sirtuin-1 in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). We hypothesized the clinical significance of serum sirtuin-1 in this disease.Methods: Serum was obtained from 141 RA patients, 144 non-RA patients and 88 healthy controls. Sirtuin-1, anti-mutant citrulline vimentin antibody (anti-MCV), anti-cyclic citrulline polypeptide antibody (anti-CCP), rheumatoid factor and C-reactive protein were measured by immunological methods, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate was determined by the Westergren method.Results: All markers were higher in the RA group than in the non-RA group and the healthy control group (P < 0.01). The specificity of sirtuin-1 for the diagnosis of RA was 97% (the highest among all markers), sensitivity was 71%. In ROC curve analysis, the AUCs (95% CI) of sirtuin-1, anti-CCP and anti-MCV were 0.87 (0.82-0.91), 0.91 (0.88-0.94) and 0.92 (0.89-0.95) respectively (all p < 0.01). The combination of sirtuin-1and anti-MCV gave the highest Youden index of 0.79, whilst Cox regression showed sirtuin-1 and rheumatoid factor were the strongest independent predictors of RA.Conclusions: Serum sirtuin-1 is increased in RA, and may have a place is the diagnosis of this disease when combined with other markers.

Abstract
Abstract Objective To investigate the frequency distribution features of 11 Y-SNP of Guizhou Shui ethnic group, explore its genetic relationship with other ethnic groups and evaluate its forensic application value. Methods Multiplex amplification of the 11 Y-SNP of samples of 180 unrelated male individuals from Guizhou Shui ethnic group was performed with microsequencing technique. The frequency of haplogroup was calculated by direct counting method, and principal component analysis (PCA) of Guizhou Shui ethnic group and reference ethnic groups was performed by using Multi-variate statistical package (MVSP). The Fst genetic distance between Guizhou Shui ethnic group and other ethnic groups was calculated with Arlequin v3.5. The phylogenetic tree was established with MEGA 4.0 software according to the Fst value. Results Six types of Y chromosome haplogroups were observed in total. Among which, the distribution frequency of O-M175 haplogroup was the highest (71.11%), followed by C-M130 (25.00%), and D-M174 (3.89%). O1b-M268 (31.11%) and O2a2-IMS-JST021354 (28.33%) had a relatively high distribution frequency in O haplogroup. The paternal relationship between Guizhou Shui ethnic group and Guizhou Gelao ethnic group in the same language group was the closest. Conclusion The distribution of Y-SNP haplogroup of the Shui ethnic group in Guizhou has certain specificity, which can provide basic data for forensic biogeographic inference.

Abstract
Objective: To explore the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of patients with ovarian metastases from colorectal cancer. Methods: A total of 122 female patients with ovarian metastases from colorectal cancer underwent treatment in Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences between 2010 and 2015 were recruited. The clinicopathological features, treatment details and survival data of these patients were retrospectively analyzed. Kaplan-Maier method was used for survival analysis, log rank test and Cox proportional hazards model were used for prognostic factor analysis. Results: The median overall survival (OS) was 19.7 months. The 1-year, 3-years and 5-years OS rates were 72.1%, 24.7% and 9.9%, respectively. A total of 99 (81.1%) patients underwent oophorectomy. The median OS of patients who underwent oophorectomy was 21.9 months, significantly longer than 10.3 months of patients without oophorectomy (P<0.01). Ovary as the only site of metastasis, primary tumor resection, and oophorectomy were associated with improved survival (all P<0.01). Primary tumor resection and oophorectomy were independent prognostic factors for OS (both P<0.01). Conclusion: Patients with ovarian metastases from colorectal cancer might acquire a survival benefit from surgical resection of the primary tumor and ovaries.

Abstract
AIM To investigate the occurrence of ESBL and colistin-resistant E. coli and its genotypic characterization and identification of virulence determinants in cases of bovine mastitis in three provinces of China. MATERIALS AND METHODS Five hundred and thirty-five milk samples presenting mastitis symptoms were screened for the presence of ESBL, colistin-resistant and different virulence genes. Susceptibility testing was identified by the micro-dilution method. Escherichia coli isolates were used to detect ESBL genes (blaCTX-M , blaSHV and blaTEM ) and colistin-resistant genes mcr-(1-9). Multiplex PCR approach was used for the detection of major blaCTX-M groups, different phylogroups and virulence genes. The clonal relationship was then evaluated with MLST, MLSA and PFGE. RESULTS Multi-drug resistance (MDR) was found in more than 85% of ESBL and colistin-resistant E. coli isolates. Genotypic characterization showed a dominance of the blaCTX-M-1 group, and the most prevalent alleles observed were blaCTX-M-28 (38·37%), blaCTX-M-14 (17·44%), blaCTX-M-66 (13·95%) and blaCTX-M-55 (10·46%). The targeted virulence genes were detected in 97·89% of isolates. Sequence types ST58 and ST410 were the most predominant (2/20 = 20%). The majority of the E. coli isolates carrying ESBL and mcr-1 were clonally unrelated. CONCLUSION High level of association was observed between ESBL-producing and COL-resistance in E. coli of bovine mastitis. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY To the best of our knowledge, this is the first report which shows the genetic diversity of ESBL and mcr-1, and various virulent features of E. coli strains isolated from bovine clinical mastitis in three different provinces of China. The major carriers of the blaCTX-M-1 and blaCTX-M-9 were blaCTX-M-28 and blaCTX-M-14 alleles respectively. The association of ESBL-producing E. coli with mcr-1 is of particular concern.

Abstract
The GERmanium Detector Array (Gerda) collaboration searched for neutrinoless double- β decay in 76 Ge with an array of about 40 high-purity isotopically-enriched germanium detectors. The experimental signature of the decay is a monoenergetic signal at Q β β = 2039.061 ( 7 ) keV in the measured summed energy spectrum of the two emitted electrons. Both the energy reconstruction and resolution of the germanium detectors are crucial to separate a potential signal from various backgrounds, such as neutrino-accompanied double- β decays allowed by the Standard Model. The energy resolution and stability were determined and monitored as a function of time using data from regular 228 Th calibrations. In this work, we describe the calibration process and associated data analysis of the full Gerda dataset, tailored to preserve the excellent resolution of the individual germanium detectors when combining data over several years.

Abstract
PURPOSE The present study investigated the correlation between the nutritional status and prognosis of COVID-19 patients, and analyzed the epidemiological characteristics of COVID-19 patients with different nutritional status. METHODS 429 patients who were diagnosed positive for COVID-19 in Hubei Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December 2019 to March 2020 were selected and divided into different groups based on Controlling Nutritional Status (CONUT) score (0-4: the low CONUT score group; 5-12: the high CONUT score group). Multivariate logistic regression analysis was applied to investigate the effects of CONUT score on prognosis. RESULTS The total score of admission status of patients with higher CONUT score was higher than that of those with lower CONUT score (χ2 = 7.152, P = 0.007). The number of adverse outcomes of female was higher than that of male (χ2 = 10.253, P = 0.001). The number of adverse outcomes was higher for patients with smoking history (P = 0.004) or hypertension (χ2 = 11.240, P = 0.001) than those without. Also, the number of adverse outcomes was higher for older patients than younger ones (χ2 = 15.681, P < 0.001). Patients with adverse outcomes had lower urine red blood cell count than patients without adverse outcomes (χ2 = 5.029, P = 0.025). However, BMI, drinking history and diabetes did not show correlation with the prognosis of COVID-19 (P > 0.05).Among patients ≥ 61 years old, the risk of adverse outcomes in the high CONUT score group was 6.191 times that of the low CONUT score group (OR = 6.191, 95% CI: 1.431-26.785).Among the non-diabetic patients, the risk of adverse outcomes in the high CONUT group was 11.678 times that of the low CONUT group (OR = 11.678, 95% CI: 2.754-49.41).For the patients who had a total score of admission status < 6, the risk of adverse outcomes in the high CONUT score group was 8.216 times that of the low CONUT score group (OR = 8.216, 95% CI: 2.439-27.682). CONCLUSION COVID-19 patients with good nutritional status showed a small chance to have adverse outcomes. Gender, age, hypertension, the number of urine red blood cell count and CONUT score affected the adverse outcomes of patients.

Abstract
'Candidatus Liberibacter asiaticus', an unculturable α-proteobacterium, is associated with citrus huanglongbing (HLB), a devastating disease threatening citrus production in Brazil and worldwide. In this study, a draft whole-genome sequence of 'Ca. L. asiaticus' strain 9PA from a sweet orange (cultivar Pera) tree collected in São Paulo State, Brazil, is reported. The 9PA genome is 1,231,881 bp, including two prophages, with G+C content of 36.7%. This is the first report of a whole-genome sequence of 'Ca. L. asiaticus' from Brazil or South America. The 9PA genome sequence will enrich 'Ca. L. asiaticus' genome resources and facilitate HLB research and control in Brazil and the world.

Abstract
The GERmanium Detector Array (GERDA) experiment searched for the lepton-number-violating neutrinoless double-β (0νββ) decay of ^{76}Ge, whose discovery would have far-reaching implications in cosmology and particle physics. By operating bare germanium diodes, enriched in ^{76}Ge, in an active liquid argon shield, GERDA achieved an unprecedently low background index of 5.2×10^{-4} counts/(keV kg yr) in the signal region and met the design goal to collect an exposure of 100 kg yr in a background-free regime. When combined with the result of Phase I, no signal is observed after 127.2 kg yr of total exposure. A limit on the half-life of 0νββ decay in ^{76}Ge is set at T_{1/2}>1.8×10^{26} yr at 90% C.L., which coincides with the sensitivity assuming no signal.

Abstract
AIMS Acute hepatopancreatic necrosis disease (AHPND) caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus has emerged as a severe bacterial disease of cultured shrimp. To identify the key virulence factors, two AHPND-causing V. parahaemolyticus (VpAHPND ) strains (123 and 137) and two non-VpAHPND strains (HZ56 and ATCC 17082) were selected. METHODS AND RESULTS Challenge tests showed that the four strains exhibited different virulence towards shrimp with cumulative mortalities at 48 h postinfection (hpi) ranging from 10 to 92%. The expression of pirABVP in strain 123 and 137 was not significantly different. Genomic analysis revealed that the two VpAHPND strains contain a plasmid with the PirABVP toxins (pirABVP ) flanked by the insertion sequence (ISVal1) that has been identified in various locations of chromosomes in VpAHPND strains. The two VpAHPND strains possessed almost identical virulence factors, while ISVal1 disrupted three genes related to flagellar motility in strain 137. Phenotype assay showed that strain 123 possessed the highest growth rate and swimming motility, followed by strain 137, suggesting that the disruption of essential genes mediated by ISVal1 significantly affected the virulence level. Transcriptome analysis of two VpAHPND strains (123 and 137) further suggested that virulence genes related to the capsule, flagella and primary metabolism were highly expressed in strain 123. CONCLUSIONS Here for the first time, it is demonstrated that the virulence of VpAHPND is not only determined by the expression of pirABVP , but also is mediated by ISVal1 which affects the genes involved in flagellar motility and primary metabolism. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY The genomic and transcriptomic analysis of VpAHPND strains provides valuable information on the virulence factors affecting the pathogenicity of VpAHPND.

Abstract
Abstract Objective To evaluate the influence of factors such as the selection of equipment, focal length and the selection of reconstruction quality in the reconstruction software on the reconstruction results of single camera photogrammetry and provide reference for the forensic application of single camera photogrammetry. Methods The 19 skulls were measured by traditional measurement method and single camera photogrammetry. The differences between the two measurement methods and within the group with same equipment but different focal length were analyzed. One skull and one corpse were selected as the research objects. According to the reconstruction quality selection conditions in the photogrammetric software, the experimental group was divided into five grades. The model reconstructed by optical scanner was defined as reference model, while the model reconstructed by single camera photogrammetry was defined as test model. The test model was aligned with the reference model, 3D deviation analysis was carried out and the mean error and root mean square (RMS) values were calculated. Results The differences between EOS 7D zoom group and traditional measurement, and within the group with same equipment had statistical significance (P<0.05). The mean error value and minimum RMS value of the skull reconstructed by single camera photogrammetry and the three-dimensional model of the corpse existed in the medium quality group, and the trend was basically the same. Conclusion The equipment and focal length has no obvious influence on the results of single camera photogrammetry. Lower reconstruction quality can easily cause distortion, while higher reconstruction quality can easily generate noise, so medium quality is preferred.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE The relationship between glycemic control in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and intracranial atherosclerotic plaque features has remained understudied. This study aimed to investigate the association of type 2 diabetes mellitus and glycemic control with the characteristics of intracranial plaques using vessel wall MR imaging. MATERIALS AND METHODS In total, 311 patients (217 [69.8%] men; mean age, 63.24 ± 11.44 years) with intracranial atherosclerotic plaques detected on vessel wall MR imaging were enrolled and divided into 3 groups according to type 2 diabetes mellitus and glycemic control statuses: the non-type 2 diabetes mellitus group, the type 2 diabetes mellitus with good glycemic control group, and the type 2 diabetes mellitus with poor glycemic control group. The imaging features of intracranial plaque were analyzed and compared among the groups. The clinical risk factors for atherosclerosis were also analyzed using logistic regression analysis. RESULTS The plaque length and thickness were significantly higher in the type 2 diabetes mellitus with poor glycemic control group than in the non-type 2 diabetes mellitus group. The prevalence of strongly enhanced plaques was significantly higher in the type 2 diabetes mellitus with poor glycemic control group than in the non-type 2 diabetes mellitus and type 2 diabetes mellitus with good glycemic control groups (92.9%, 63.4%, and 72.7%, respectively; P < .001). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed a significant association of poor glycemic control with the plaque length (OR = 1.966; 95% CI, 1.170-3.303; P = .011), plaque thickness (OR = 1.981; 95% CI, 1.174-3.340; P = .010), and strongly enhanced plaque (OR = 5.448; 95% CI, 2.385-12.444; P < .001). CONCLUSIONS Poor glycemic control, compared with the history of diabetes, might have a greater impact on the burden and vulnerability of intracranial atherosclerotic plaques.

Abstract
Background We conducted this meta-analysis and systematic literature review to study the ability of PD-L1 to predict objective response in patients with urothelial cancer treated with PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors. Methods Relevant studies of PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitors in urothelial cancer that reported objective response rate (orr) based on PD-L1 expression status in PubMed, embase, and the Cochrane Library were retrieved. Efficacy of PD-L1 expression status in predicting orr and the efficacy, safety of PD-1 and PD-L1 drugs were analyzed. Results Studies were divided into ≥1%, ≥5%, and ≥25% based on PD-L1 positivity threshold, and the patients were grouped into PD-L1 positive and negative. In all 3 expression thresholds, patients with positive PD-L1 expression were more likely to experience an objective response [≥1% threshold odds ratio (or): 1.74; 95% confidence interval (ci): 1.20 to 2.53; ≥5% threshold or: 2.74; 95% ci: 2.01 to 3.724; ≥25% threshold or: 7.13; 95% ci: 2.38 to 21.40] in comparison with patients with negative PD-L1 expression. Of the 3 thresholds, the ≥25% threshold was better in predicting orr (1.74 vs. 2.93 vs. 7.13; p < 0.0001). The ≥1% PD-L1 threshold had a relatively high sensitivity in predicting orr; the ≥5% PD-L1 threshold was better for specificity. Sensitivity was higher at the ≥25% threshold than at the other two thresholds, but specificity was lower. Further, we found that there is no statistically significant difference in efficacy between PD-1 and PD-L1 drugs. Conclusions Urothelial cancer patients with PD-L1 positive expression responded better than PD-L1 negative patients did, and a threshold of ≥5% or greater for PD-L1 expression might predict positive clinical response.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Necrotizing lymphadenitis is a rare disease. It is often misdiagnosed because of the lack of typical clinical manifestations. It is worth noting that necrotizing lymphadenitis may be a precursor lesion of systemic lupus erythematosus or tumours, so regular follow-up is needed to facilitate early diagnosis. Here, we report a case and conduct a literature analysis summarizing the clinical features of necrotizing lymphadenitis and its treatment and management practices. CASE PRESENTATION A 16-year-old young woman presented with fever and lymphadenopathy as the main clinical manifestations, accompanied by a rash during fever that disappeared as the fever subsided. After completing imaging and laboratory examinations, we excluded other diseases such as infections, autoimmune diseases, and malignant tumours. Finally, we diagnosed the patient with necrotizing lymphadenitis based on the results of lymph node biopsy. The symptoms of the patient improved after glucocorticoid treatment, and she was followed up for half a year without recurrence of symptoms. CONCLUSION In the clinic, young women with fever and lymphadenopathy as major symptoms should be screened for necrotizing lymphadenitis to facilitate early diagnosis and treatment. Although necrotizing lymphadenitis is self-limiting, its clinical manifestations are similar to those of many diseases. Therefore, it is easily misdiagnosed. An in-depth understanding of the disease is conducive to early diagnosis and treatment in the clinic, thereby reducing further damage to the body and reducing unnecessary evaluation and treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE Infections with human herpesvirus 6A (HHV-6A) and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) have been linked to multiple sclerosis (MS) development. For EBV, late infection has been proposed as a risk factor, but serological support is lacking. The objective of this study was to investigate how age affects the EBV and HHV-6A associated risks of developing MS. METHODS In this nested case-control study, Swedish biobanks were accessed to find pre-symptomatically collected blood samples from 670 individuals who later developed relapsing MS and 670 matched controls. A bead-based multiplex assay was used to determine serological response against EBV and HHV-6A. Conditional logistic regression was used to calculate odds ratios and 95% confidence intervals. RESULTS Seropositivity against EBV exhibited a pattern where associations switched from a decreased risk of developing MS in the group below 20 years of age to an increased risk amongst individuals aged 20-29 and 30-39 years (p for trend 0.020). The age of transition was estimated to be 18.8 years. In contrast, HHV-6A was associated with increased MS risk in all age groups (total cohort odds ratio 2.1, 95% confidence interval 1.6-2.7). CONCLUSIONS This study suggests EBV infection after adolescence and age independent HHV-6A infection as risk factors for MS.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to explore the effect of circ MTHFD2 on resistance to pemetrexed (MTA) in gastric cancer by regulating the expression of micro ribonucleic acid (miR)-124. MATERIALS AND METHODS Human gastric cancer MGC-803 cells were induced by MTA at an increasing concentration. MGC-803/MTA resistant cell model was successfully established after 5 months. The half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of MTA on the two kinds of cells was detected via cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8) assay. Differentially expressed circular RNAs (circRNAs) were screened using circRNA microarray analysis. Meanwhile, the target miRNAs of circRNAs were predicted using bioinformatics tool and verified via luciferase reporter assay, respectively. In MGC-803 cells, the effects of overexpression and knockdown of circ MTHFD2 on the expression of miR-124 were detected via quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). Finally, the effects of circ MTHFD2 on the protein expressions of FDZ5 and multidrug resistance gene-1 (MDR-1) were detected via Western blotting. RESULTS MGC-803/MTA resistant cell lines were successfully constructed via persistent drug exposure to MTA at an increasing concentration for 5 months. Compared with parental cells, MGC-803/MTA resistant cells showed significantly enhanced drug resistance. Subsequently, differentially expressed circRNAs were screened using circRNA microarray analysis. A total of 673 circRNAs were screened out based on Fold Change >3 and adjusted p-value. The results of qRT-PCR showed that the expression levels of all differentially expressed circRNAs were significantly changed when compared with MGC-803/MTA resistant cells. Compared with MGC-803/MTA resistant cells, the drug resistance of cells increased significantly in circ MTHFD2 overexpression group. However, it markedly decreased in circ MTHFD2 knockdown group. According to the results of bioinformatics and luciferase reporter assay, circ MTHFD2 could target bind to miR-124. In MGC-803/MTA cells, miR-124 could remarkably increase the resistance of MGC-803/MTA cells to MTA. Western blotting results revealed that overexpression of circ MTHFD2 significantly increased the protein expressions of FDZ5 and MDR-1. However, miR-124 mimics reversed the inhibitory effect of circ MTHFD2 on FDZ5 and MDR-1. CONCLUSIONS Circ MTHFD2 directly binds to miR-124 through the molecular sponge effect. This may induce increased protein expression of MDR-1, ultimately enhancing the drug resistance of MGC-803/MTA cells.

Abstract
Abstract
Background
Napping is a habit prevalent worldwide and occurs from an early age. Some sleep specialists have suggested it as a potential public health tool due to the prevalence of sleep disorder. However, the association between napping and the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and all-cause mortality remains unclear.
Purpose
To assess the association between napping and the risk of CVD and all-cause mortality.
Methods
We conducted a systematic search of Medline, Embase and Cochrane databases from inception through December 2019 for prospective cohort studies investigating the association between napping and the risk of CVD and/or all-cause mortality. Overall estimates were calculated using random effect models with inverse variance weighting. Dose-response meta-analysis was performed using restricted cubic spline models. The results were reported as hazard ratio (HR) and 95% confidence interval (CI).
Results
A total of 313651 participants (57.8% female, 38.9% took naps) from 20 cohort studies were included in the analysis. Overall, pooled analysis detected no association between daytime nap and CVD (HR 1.13, 95% CI 0.99–1.28). However, in subgroup analysis including only participants who were female (HR 1.31, 95% CI 1.09–1.58), older (age>65 years) (HR 1.36, 95% CI 1.07–1.72), or took a longer nap (nap time>60 minutes) (HR 1.34, 95% CI 1.05–1.63), napping was significantly associated with a higher risk of CVD comparing to not napping. All-cause mortality was associated with napping overall (HR 1.19, 95% CI 1.12–1.26), and effect sizes were even more pronounced in females (HR 1.22, 95% CI 1.13–1.31), older participants (HR 1.27, 95% CI 1.11–1.45) and those who took a long nap (HR 1.30, 95% CI 1.12–1.47). Furthermore, after stratifying participants by night sleep time (<6 and >6h/day), no significant association was detected except those who slept >6h/day at night and took a long nap (HR 1.13, 95% CI 1.03–1.24). Dose-response analysis showed a J-curve relation between nap time and CVD (Figure 1). The HR decreased from 0 to 25 min/day, followed by a sharp increase in the risk at longer times. A positive linear relationship between nap time and all-cause mortality was also observed.
Conclusion
Long napping over 60 minutes per day is associated with increased risks of CVD and all-cause mortality. Night sleep duration may play a role in the relation between napping and all-cause mortality. Further, large-scale prospective cohort studies need to confirm our conclusion and investigate the underlying mechanisms driving these associations.
