Abstract
This paper purports to review catalysis, particularly the organocatalysis and its origin, key trends, challenges, examples, scope, and importance. The definition of organocatalyst corresponds to a low molecular weight organic molecule which in stoichiometric amounts catalyzes a chemical reaction. In this review, the use of the term heterogenized organocatalyst will be exclusively confined to a catalytic system containing an organic molecule immobilized onto some sort of support material and is responsible for accelerating a chemical reaction. Firstly, a brief description of the field is provided putting it in a green and sustainable perspective of chemistry. Next, research findings on the use of organocatalysts on various inorganic supports including nano(porous)materials, nanoparticles, silica, and zeolite/zeolitic materials are scrutinized in brief. Then future scope, research directions, and academic and industrial applications will be outlined. A succinct account will summarize some of the research and developments in the field. This review tries to bring many outstanding researches together and shows the vitality of the organocatalysis through several aspects.

Abstract
A polystyrene (PS) supported bifunctional squaramide organocatalyst promotes fast Michael addition of 2-hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone to nitroalkenes with very high enantioselectivities at low catalyst loadings. The polystyrene supported catalyst can be recycled up to 10 times without any decrease in enantioselectivity (average 96% ee) and adapted to continuous flow operation (24 h). A single flow experiment involving six different nitroalkenes in a sequential manner highlights the applicability of this methodology for rapid access to chemical diversity.

Abstract
The heterogeneous proline-catalyzed aldol reaction was investigated under continuous-flow conditions by means of a packed-bed microreactor. Reaction-progress kinetic analysis (RPKA) was used in combination with nonlinear chromatography for the interpretation, under synthetically relevant conditions, of important mechanistic aspects of the heterogeneous catalytic process at a molecular level. The information gathered by RPKA and nonlinear chromatography proved to be highly complementary and allowed for the assessment of optimal operating variables. In particular, the determination of the rate-determining step was pivotal for optimizing the feed composition. On the other hand, the competitive product inhibition was responsible for the unexpected decrease in the reaction yield following an apparently obvious variation in the feed composition. The study was facilitated by a suitable 2D instrumental arrangement for simultaneous flow reaction and online flow-injection analysis.

Abstract
Pep talk: An immobilized peptidic catalyst achieves more than 600 turnovers in a continuous-flow system, allowing the production of chiral γ-nitroaldehydes with excellent stereoselectivities on a scale of >450 mmol (>100 g). Such a high efficiency opens the way for more practical applications of enamine catalysis.

Abstract
A prototype continuous-flow liquid-liquid extraction system is reported. By harnessing several open-source software libraries, a computer control script was written using the Python programming language. Using a 'computer-vision' approach, this allowed the computer to monitor the interface level between the organic and aqueous phases using a simple webcam setup and (by dynamically controlling pump flow rate) to keep this interface within defined limits. The system enabled the efficient 'inline' extraction of excess reagent in hydrazone formations, dithiane formations and epoxidations. The initial results of dispersion measurement are also presented.

Abstract
The asymmetric organocatalytic hydrogenation of benzoxazines, quinolines, quinoxalines and 3H-indoles in continuous-flow microreactors has been developed. Reaction monitoring was achieved by using an inline ReactIR flow cell, which allows fast and convenient optimization of reaction parameters. The reductions proceeded well, and the desired products were isolated in high yields and with excellent enantioselectivities.
