Abstract
Tea is a popular beverage all around the world. Tea composition, quality monitoring, and tea identification have all been the subject of extensive research due to concerns about the nutritional value and safety of tea intake. In the last 2 decades, research into tea employing electrochemical biosensing technologies has received a lot of interest. Despite the fact that electrochemical biosensing is not yet the most widely utilized approach for tea analysis, it has emerged as a promising technology due to its high sensitivity, speed, and low cost. Through bibliometric analysis, we give a systematic survey of the literature on electrochemical analysis of tea from 1994 to 2021 in this study. Electrochemical analysis in the study of tea can be split into three distinct stages, according to the bibliometric analysis. After chromatographic separation of materials, electrochemical techniques were initially used only as a detection tool. Many key components of tea, including as tea polyphenols, gallic acid, caffeic acid, and others, have electrochemical activity, and their electrochemical behavior is being investigated. High-performance electrochemical sensors have steadily become a hot research issue as materials science, particularly nanomaterials, and has progressed. This review not only highlights these processes, but also analyzes and contrasts the relevant literature. This evaluation also provides future views in this area based on the bibliometric findings.

Abstract
In this study, we prepared graphene oxide (GO)/ZIF-67 nanocomposites. Therefore, GO/ZIF-67 nanocomposites were used as a modifier on a screen-printed electrode (GO/ZIF-67/SPE) for studying the electrochemical behavior of epinine in phosphate buffer saline (PBS) at pH 7.0 with voltammetry techniques. The GO/ZIF-67/SPE showed greater electrocatalytic activities than the bare SPE. As a result, the GO/ZIF-67/SPE was utilized for additional electrochemical examinations. The epinine concentration determination was in the range 9.0 × 10-8 M to 5.0 × 10-4 M, and the limit of detection (LOD) as well as the limit of quantification (LOQ) equaled 2.0 and 6.6 nM, respectively. From the scan rate study, the oxidation of epinine was found to be diffusion-controlled, and the simultaneous detection of epinine and dobutamine were well achieved with the differential pulse voltammetric (DPV) technique. Moreover, the stability and reproducibility of epinine at the GO/ZIF-67/SPE was studied, and the use of the GO/ZIF-67/SPE to detect epinine and dobutamine in real samples was furthermore successfully demonstrated.

Abstract
Para-Nitrophenol (p-nitrophenol) is a common industrial pollutant occurring widely in water bodies, yet actual monitoring methods are limited. Herein we proposed a fully electrochemically in situ synthesized graphene-polyarginine composite functionalized screen printed electrode, as a novel p-nitrophenol sensing platform. The electrode was characterized by morphologic, spectrometric and electrochemical techniques. p-nitrophenol in both pure aqueous solution and real water samples was tested. Results show a detection limit as low as the nanomolar level, and display a linear response and high selectivity in the range of 0.5-1250 μM. Molecular simulation reveals a detailed synergy between graphene and poly-arginine. The preferable orientation of nitrophenol molecules on the graphene interface in the presence of poly-arginine induces H- and ionic binding. This sensor is an ideal prototype for p-nitrophenol quantification in real waters.

Abstract
This work describes a label-free electrochemical immunosensor for the sensing of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) with high sensitivity. First, a monolayer of 1,6-hexanedithiol (HDT) was fabricated on the screen-printed electrode surface by the interaction between sulfur atoms and SPE. AuNPs can be modified on the electrode by the Au-S bond formed between the HDT-free group and Au atom in AuNPs. Protein A is then adsorbed onto AuNPs. Several parameters were optimized. The optimum concentration of protein A is 0.6 mg/mL. The optimum immobilization time for protein A is 90 min. The optimum concentration of antibody is 80 μg/mL. The optimum immobilization time for antibody is 90 min. Directional immobilization of EBV antibody is achieved by high affinity binding of protein A to the Fc segment of antibody. When antigen specifically binds to antibody, the formation of immune complexes blocks electron transfer of [Fe(CN)6]4-/3- and is reflected in the detection of cyclic voltammetry/electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. The detection range is 1 pg/mL-l00 ng/mL with a LOD of 0.1 pg/mL. In addition, the proposed sensor exhibited an excellent antiinterference property.

Abstract
In this study a new low-cost carbonaceous material was prepared from husks of opuntia-ficus-indica as a starting material (precursor) which was accomplished by chemical activation route using H3PO4 impregnation. The material has been identified by different analytical tools. The sorption performance of Cs(I) and Sr(II) from HNO3 solutions was examined through batch system. Variations of the distribution coefficients (Kd) as a function of HNO3 concentration in the range 0.001-5.0 M were presented. Some of separation probabilities were suggested. The results attained signals that the Sr(II) selectivity is higher than that of Cs(I) at high molarities. The retention capacity (qe) of Cs(I) and Sr(II) ions increased with growing temperature. The capacities at 0.001 M HNO3 are 34 and 108 mg/g for Cs(I) and Sr(II), respectively. Whereas, at 2.0 M HNO3 capacities were about 4 and 37 mg/g for each of Cs(I) and Sr (II), respectively. This studies demonstrates that the prepared carbonaceous sorbent is an economically effective sorbent for retention of Cs(I) and Sr(II) species from HNO3 solutions. Cs(I) and Sr(II) removal potential was tested from simulated low- and intermediate-level radioactive waste samples.

Abstract
Different advanced techniques including Raman area mapping and Raman thermal imaging has been used to investigate various properties of large area iron oxide thin films deposited by spray pyrolysis, on a large area of crystalline silicon substrates under controlled external parameters. Morphological studies reveal that the obtained films acquire lateral faceted crystalline structure of iron oxide. The Raman and SEM images, in unison, confirm the presence and large area distribution of the nano crystals of Fe2O3 phase. Thermal Raman imaging reveals that the obtained iron oxide thin films are robust and thus can be used for appropriate technological applications like electromagnetic shielding.

Abstract
We developed a novel hydroxylamine sensor through the surface modification of screen-printed electrode (SPE) with NiCo2O4 nanoparticles/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanocomposite (NiCo2O4/RGO/SPE). We assessed the electrochemical response of hydroxylamine on the as-fabricated sensor, confirming the high electrocatalytic impact of hydroxylamine oxidation. The electrode produced sensitively responded to hydroxylamine under optimized conditions, with a low limit of detection (2.0 nM) and broad linear dynamic range (0.007-385.0 µM). The presence of NiCo2O4 combined with the modification of RGO resulted in sensitive detection and signal amplification of hydroxylamine oxidation. The proposed sensor was used to determine the existence of hydroxylamine in water samples.

Abstract
Metal ion pollution poses serious threat to environment. Analysis of Cd (II) and Pb (II) ions using chemically modified mercury free electrode is a feasible routine analytical tool. Developing an electrode surface modified with conductive 2D carbon and metal complexing ligand created a synergetic effect towards sensitive and selective electrochemical determination of metal ions. The present study focused on green chemistry approach towards synthesis of reduced graphene oxide using a natural flavonoid (Quercetin) that acts as a reducing, functionalizing agent and also as metal complexing agent. This quercetin reduced graphene oxide (Q-rGO) was surface modified over paraffin wax impregnated graphite electrode. The resulting Q-rGO electrode was used as a mercury-free electrode for simultaneous analysis of Pb (II) and Cd (II) ions. Physico-chemical parameters of the synthesized Q-rGO and modified electrodes were characterized using X-ray diffraction, UV-Vis, FT-IR, and Raman spectrometer. The morphology of the material and surface topography of the modified electrode was observed using HR-TEM and FESEM, respectively. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) and AC impedance (EIS) were adopted for electrochemical characterization and Differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry (DPASV) was chosen for simultaneous sensing of metal ions using Q-rGO electrode. Analytical parameters such as effect of electrolyte, effect of pH, preconcentration time and deposition potential were optimized. The experimental results suggested that the Q-rGO electrode is capable of sensing Pb (II) and Cd (II) ions individually and simultaneously. Inference from the calibration plot showed that the Q-rGO electrode was capable of sensing the concentration range of Cd (II) ion form 0.19 to 2.5 μgL-1 with LOD-0.05 μgL-1 and Pb (II) ions from 0.19 to 3.1 μgL-1 with LOD 0.06 μgL-1.

Abstract
The accurate and precise monitoring of epirubicin (EPR), one of the most widely used anticancer drugs, is significant for human and environmental health. In this context, we developed a highly sensitive electrochemical electrode for EPR detection based on nickel ferrite decorated with gold nanoparticles (Au@NiFe2O4) on the screen-printed electrode (SPE). Various spectral characteristic methods such as Fourier transform infrared spectra (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) were used to investigate the surface morphology and structure of the synthesized Au@NiFe2O4 nanocomposite. The novel decorated electrode exhibited a high electrocatalytic activity toward the electrooxidation of EPR, and a nanomolar limit of detection (5.3 nM) was estimated using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) with linear concentration ranges from 0.01 to 0.7 and 0.7 to 3.6 µM. The stability, selectivity, repeatability reproducibility and reusability, with a very low electrode response detection limit, make it very appropriate for determining trace amounts of EPR in pharmaceutical and clinical preparations.

Abstract
The treatment of industrial waste and harmful bacteria is an important topic due to the release of toxins from the industrial pollutants that damage the water resources. These harmful sources frighten the life of every organism which was later developed as the carcinogenic and mutagenic agents. Therefore, the current study focuses on the breakdown or degradation of 4-chlorophenol and the antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli (E. coli). As a well-known catalyst, pure titanium-di-oxide (TiO2) had not shown the photocatalytic activity in the visible light region. Hence, band position of TiO2 need to be shifted to bring out the absorption in the visible light region. For this purpose, the n-type TiO2 nanocrystalline material's band gap got varied by adding different ratios of p-type CuO. The result had appeared in the formation of p (CuO) - n (TiO2) junction synthesized from sol-gel followed by chemical precipitation methods. The optical band gap value was determined by Kubelka-Munk (K-M) plot through UV-Vis diffusive reflectance spectroscopy (DRS). Further, the comprehensive mechanism and the results of photocatalytic and antibacterial activities were discussed in detail. These investigations are made for tuning the TiO2 catalyst towards improving or eliminating the existing various environmental damages.

Abstract
Electrode modifications for electrochemical sensors attract a lot of attention every year. Among them, hydrogels are a relatively special class of electrode modifier. Since hydrogels often contain polymers, even though they are conductive polymers, they are not ideal electrode modifiers because of their poor conductivity. However, the micro-aqueous environment and the three-dimensional structure of hydrogels are an excellent platform for immobilizing bioactive molecules and maintaining their activity. This gives the hydrogel-modified electrochemical sensor the potential to perform specific recognition. At the same time, the rapid development of nanomaterials also makes the composite hydrogel have good electrical conductivity. This has led many scientists to become interested in hydrogel-based electrochemical sensors. In this review, we summarize the development process of hydrogel-based electrochemical sensors, starting from 2000. Hydrogel-based electrochemical sensors were initially used only as a carrier for biomolecules, mostly for loading enzymes and for specific recognition. With the widespread use of noble metal nanoparticles and carbon materials, hydrogels can now be used to prepare enzyme-free sensors. Although there are some sporadic studies on the use of hydrogels for practical applications, the vast majority of reports are still limited to the detection of common model molecules, such as glucose and H2O2. In the review, we classify hydrogels according to their different conducting strategies, and present the current status of the application of different hydrogels in electrochemical sensors. We also summarize the advantages and shortcomings of hydrogel-based electrochemical sensors. In addition, future prospects regarding hydrogel for electrochemical sensor use have been provided at the end.

Abstract
In the present study, gold nanoparticles were locally well-decorated on the surface of TiO2 using the tungstophosphoric acid (HPW), as UV-switchable reducing intermediate linkers. The prepared Au NPs/HPW/TiO2 nanostructure was characterized using FTIR, XRD, EDS, SEM and TEM, which confirmed the successful attachment of quasi-spherical Au NPs in the range of 20-30 nm on the surface of HPW modified TiO2. Also, the FTIR results show that the Au NPs were binded to TiO2 through the terminal the oxygen atoms HPW. The photocatalytic performance of prepared nanostructures was assessed in degradation of nitrobenzene. The nitrobenzene photodegradation kinetic study revealed that it well followed the Langmuir-Hinshelwood kinetic model with the apparent rate constant of 0.001 min-1 using anatase TiO2, 0.0004 min-1 using HPW, 0.0014 using HPW/TiO2, while it was obtained 0.0065 min-1 using Au NPs@HPW/TiO2 nanostructure. It shows that the photocatalytic rate of the prepared nanocomposites increased by 6.5- and 4.6-fold compared to photoactivity of anatase TiO2 and HPW/TiO2 respectively. Also, the photocatalytic mechanism of process was proposed. Moreover, the reusability study confirmed that its photocatalytic activity still remained high after three cycles.

Abstract
Gastric cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors, and early diagnosis will be of great significance to improve the survival quality and overall treatment outcome evaluation of patients. Nanoelectrochemical immunosensor is an emerging biosensor combining nanotechnology, electrochemical analysis method and immunological technology, which has simple operation, fast analysis speed, high sensitivity, and good selectivity. This mini-review summarized immunoassay techniques, nanotechnology and electrochemical sensing for the early detection of gastric cancer. In particular, we focus on the tension of carbon nanomaterials in this field, including the functionalized preparation of materials, signal enhancement and the construction of novel sensing interfaces. Currently, various tumor markers are being developed, but the more recognized gastric cancer tumor markers are carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen (CA), CD44V9, miRNAs, and programmed death ligand 1. Among them, the electrochemical immunosensor allows the detection of CEA, CA, and miRNAs. The mini-review focused on the development of using carbon based materials, especially carbon nanotubes and graphene for immunosensor fabrication and gastric cancer markers detection.

Abstract
Acer Linn. is a highly divergent species morphology in the maple family (Aceraceae). It is one of the genera facing a very difficult taxonomic situation. The phylogeny of the genus and the taxonomic system under the genus remain unclear. The use of electrochemical fingerprints for plant phylogenetic study is an emerging application in biosensors. In this work, leaves of 18 species of Acer Linn. with an exo-taxa were selected for electrochemical fingerprint recording. Two different conditions were used for improving the data abundance. The fingerprint of all species showed a series of oxidation peaks. These peaks can be ascribed to the oxidation of flavonols, phenolic acids, procyanidins, alkaloids, and pigments in plant tissue. These electrochemical fingerprints can be used for the identification of plant species. We also performed a phylogenetic study with data from electrochemical fingerprinting. The phylogenetic tree of Acer is divided into three main clades. The result is in full agreement with A. shangszeense var. anfuense, A. pictum subsp. mono, A. amplum, A. truncatum, and A. miaotaiense, belonging to the subsection Platanoidea. A. nikoense and A. griseum were clustered together in the dendrogram. Another group that fits the traditional classification results is in the subsection Integrifolia.

Abstract
Recognition of misused stimulant drugs has always been a hot topic from a medical and judicial perspective. Methamphetamine (MAMP) is an addictive and illegal drug that profoundly affects the central nervous system. Like other illicit drugs, the detection of MAMP in biological and street samples is vital for several organizations such as forensic medicine, anti-drug headquarters and diagnostic clinics. By emerging nanotechnology and exploiting nanomaterials in sensing applications, a great deal of attention has been given to the design of analytical sensors in MAMP tracing. For the first time, this study has briefly reviewed all the optical and electrochemical sensors in MAMP detection from earlier so far. How various receptors with engineering nanomaterials allow developing novel approaches to measure MAMP have been studied. Fundamental concepts related to optical and electrochemical recognition assays in which nanomaterials have been used and relevant MAMP sensing applications have been comprehensively covered. Challenges, opportunities and future outlooks of this field have also been discussed at the end.

Abstract
Silicon plays a very important role in the growth of rice. The study of the relationship between rice and silicon has become a hot area in the last decade. Currently, the silica-molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method is mostly used for the determination of silicon content in rice. However, the results of this method vary greatly due to the different choices of reducing agents, measurement wavelengths and color development times. In this work, we present for the first time an electrochemical sensor for the detection of silicon content in rice. This electrochemical analysis technique not only provides an alternative detection strategy, but also, due to the rapid detection by electrochemical methods and the miniaturization of the instrument, it is suitable for field testing. Methodological construction using electrochemical techniques is a key objective. The silicon in rice was extracted by HF and becomes silica after pH adjustment. The silica was then immobilized onto the glassy carbon surface. These silica nanoparticles provided additional specific surface area for adsorption of sodium borohydride and Ag ions, which in turn formed Ag nanoparticles to fabricate an electrochemical sensor. The proposed electrochemical sensor can be used for indirect measurements of 10-400 mg/L of SiO2, and thus, the method can measure 4.67-186.8 mg/g of silicon. The electrochemical sensor can be used to be comparable with the conventional silicon-molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method. The RSD of the current value was only 3.4% for five sensors. In practical use, 200 samples of glume, leaf, leaf sheath and culm were tested. The results showed that glume had the highest silicon content and culm had the lowest silicon content. The linear correlation coefficients for glume, leaf, leaf sheath and culm were 0.9841, 0.9907, 0.9894 and 0.993, respectively.

Abstract
Pancreatic cancer is a highly lethal gastrointestinal malignancy. Most patients are already in the middle to advanced stages of pancreatic cancer at the time of diagnosis and cannot be treated completely. As a single-atom planar two-dimensional crystal, graphene's unusual electronic structure, specific electronic properties and excellent electron transport capacity make it uniquely advantageous in the field of electrochemical sensing. In this mini-review, we summarize the potential application of graphene in pancreatic cancer detection. K-Ras gene, CEA and MicroRNA are important in the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.

Abstract
Recent interest and responsibility to retain the water resources rose among people. Scientists have been engaged to develop the mechanism that involves the freely available sunlight - a sustainable resource - to remove the pollutants from water to make it again suitable for life. Ample research was reported in the removal of dye pollutants present in water. For this they have utilized p type and n type semiconductors or combination of both (p-n type) under the excitation of a wide range of electromagnetic band energy. Most of the interest lies in emerging out of the mechanism with hybrid semiconductors to remove the previously reported flaws. Toward this regard, this manuscript aims to develop unique material using the underlying p-n-p model for harnessing visible light in catalysis. Initially, p-n structure was developed with copper oxide (p-type) and zinc oxide (n-type), then polyaniline (p-type) conjugated at different concentrations (0.5 M, 0.7 M & 1.0 M), to yield p-n-p models, using precipitation followed by sonication techniques. Detailed physicochemical investigations were conducted on the resultant p-n-p material to elucidate its characteristics. Furthermore, the mechanism was advocated for the best photocatalytic activity under visible light excitation for the degradation of 4-chlorophenol and compared with the performance of a standard p-n (CuO/ZnO) combination.

Abstract
This study for the first time pursues two crucial aims of using Naproxen as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug in a better, non-invasive setting and introducing a simple and biocompatible nano-carrier (Mn/CQD/SiO2) which is a magneto carbon quantum dots modified with mesoporous silica probe which can be served as a drug delivery and tracer system. SiO2modification was doneby mesoporous silica which improves biocompatibility and provideslow cytotoxicity. Naproxen was conjugated to the nano-probe to form Mn/CQD/SiO2@naproxen and biodistribution was investigated. Physicochemical characteristics of the Mn/CQD/SiO2@naproxen were investigated using FT-IR, SEM, TEM, UV-Vis and BET. Antiproliferation assay using MTT assay was performed on HEK-293 cells to determine the cytotoxity of Mn/CQD/SiO2@naproxen. Relaxivity of Mn/CQD/SiO2 was examined thereafter. To investigate the imaging capability of Mn/CQD/SiO2@naproxen and biodistribution of Naproxen, fluorescent imaging was done. To confirm the data, then the levels of COX Gene expression was determined. The specific surface area, pore volume, and pore radius were 44.4 m2/g, 10.23 cm3/g, and 25.9 nm respectively. MTT assay showed no cytotoxicity. Relaxivity of Mn/CQD/SiO2 was higher than conventional Gd-based contrast agent. Fluorescence imaging of Mn/CQD/SiO2@naproxen showed the biodistribution of naproxen. COX Gene expression confirmed the biodistribution data. By increasing the accumulation in liver COX production reduced. All in all, unique features of Mn/CQD/SiO2 including biocompatibility, low toxicity, magnetic and fluorescence properties showed that it can be used in biomedical sciences.

Abstract
In this proposed work, direct green 6 (DG6) decorated carbon paste electrode (CPE) was fabricated for the efficient simultaneous and individual sensing of catechol (CA) and hydroquinone (HY). Electrochemical deeds of the CA and HY were carried out by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) at poly-DG6-modfied carbon paste electrode (Po-DG6-MCPE). Using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studied the surface property of unmodified CPE (UCPE) and Po-DG6-MCPE. The decorated sensor displayed admirable electrocatalytic performance with fine stability, reproducibility, selectivity, low limit of detection (LLOD) for HY (0.11 μM) and CC (0.09 μM) and sensor process was originated to be adsorption-controlled phenomena. The Po-DG6-MCPE sensor exhibits well separated two peaks for HY and CA in CV and DPV analysis with potential difference of 0.098 V. Subsequently, the sensor was practically applied for the analysis in tap water and it consistent in-between for CA 93.25–100.16% and for HY 97.25–99.87% respectively.
