Abstract
Tetrahydropyridazines constitute an important structural motif found in numerous natural products and pharmaceutical compounds. Herein, we report an aminoacylation reaction of alkenes that enables the synthesis of 1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyridazines through cooperative N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) and photoredox catalysis. This approach involves the 6-endo-trig cyclization of N-centered hydrazonyl radicals, generated via single-electron oxidation of hydrazones, followed by a radical-radical coupling step. The mild process tolerates a wide range of common functional groups and affords a variety of tetrahydropyridazines in moderate to high yields. Preliminary investigations using chiral NHC catalysts demonstrate the potential of this protocol for asymmetric radical reactions.

Abstract
We present a new [3+2] cycloaddition reaction between alkyl-acceptor diazoalkanes under visible light irradiation. By employing easily accessible alkyl-acceptor-type diazoalkanes or their precursor hydrazones as both 1,3-dipoles and dipolarophiles, a diverse range of pyrazoline derivatives featuring a quaternary center have been efficiently synthesized in a predictable manner, with excellent functional group tolerance and good yields. Furthermore, scale-up experiments and downstream transformations of the product were also detailed.

Abstract
Hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) and photoredox dual catalysis provides a unique opportunity in organic synthesis, enabling the direct activation of C/Si/S-H bonds. However, the activation of O-H bonds of β,γ-unsaturated oximes poses a challenge due to their relatively high redox potential, which exceeds the oxidizing capacity of most currently developed photocatalysts. We here demonstrate that the combination of HAT and photoredox catalysis allows the activation of O-H bond of β,γ-unsaturated oximes. The strategy effectively addresses the oxime's high redox potential and offers a universal pathway for iminoxyl radical formation. Leveraging the versatility of this approach, a diverse array of valuable heterocycles have been synthesized with the use of different radical acceptors. Mechanistic studies confirm a HAT process for the O-H bond activation.

Abstract
The combination of photo and copper catalysts has emerged as a novel paradigm in organic catalysis, which provides access to the acceleration of chemical synthesis. Herein, we describe an aminoalkylation of amino-dependent olefins with maleimides through a cooperative photo/copper catalytic system. In this report, the strategy allows the generation of a broad complex of functionalized nitrogenous molecules including oxazolidinones, 2-pyrrolidones, imidazolidinones, thiazolidinones, pyridines, and piperidines in the absence of an external photosensitizer and base. The approach is achieved through a photoinduced Cu(I)/Cu(II)/Cu(III) complex species of nitrogen nucleophiles, intermolecular radical addition, and hydrogen atom transfer (HAT) processes. The plausible mechanism is investigated by a series of control experiments and theoretical tests, including radical scavenging experiments, deuterium labeling experiments, ultraviolet-visible absorption, and cyclic voltammetry (CV) tests.

Abstract
The use of metal-free carbon nitride and light to drive catalytic transformations constitutes a sustainable strategy for organic synthesis. At the moment, enhancing the intrinsic activity of CN catalysts by tuning the interfacial coupling between catalyst and substrate remains challenging. Herein, we demonstrate that urea-derived carbon nitride catalysts with the abundant −NH2 groups and the relative positive charged surface could effectively complex with the deprotonated anionic intermediate to improve the adsorption of organic reactants on the catalyst surface. The decreased oxidation potential and upshift in its highest occupied molecular orbital position make the electron abstraction kinetics by the catalyst more energetically favorable. The prepared catalyst is thus utilized for the photocatalytic cyclization of nitrogen-centered radicals for the synthesis of diverse pharmaceutical-related compounds (33 examples) with high activity and reusability, which shows competent performance to the homogeneous catalysts. Carbon nitride catalysts with positively charged surfaces and abundant −NH2 are found to be effective photocatalysts for dihydropyrazole synthesis. A surface-mediated mechanism where deprotonated intermediates interact with the surface is proposed.

Abstract
Ruthenium- and copper-catalyzed propargylic substitution reactions of propargylic alcohol derivatives with N-monosubstituted hydrazones as ambident nucleophiles are achieved in which N-monosubstituted hydrazones exhibit impressive different reactivities depending on different catalytic systems, behaving as carbon-centered nucleophiles to give the corresponding propargylic alkylated products in ruthenium catalysis, or as nitrogen-centered nucleophiles to afford the corresponding propargylic aminated products in copper catalysis. DFT calculations were carried out to investigate the detailed reaction pathways of these two systems. Further transformation of propargylic substituted products affords the corresponding multisubstituted pyrazoles as cyclization products in good to high yields.

Abstract
A red-light-mediated nPr-DMQA+-catalyzed cascade intramolecular trifluoromethylation and dearomatization of indole derivatives with Umemoto's reagent has been developed. This protocol provides a facile and efficient approach for the construction of functionalized and potentially biologically important CF3-containing 3,3-spirocyclic indolines with moderate to high yields and excellent diastereoselectivities under mild conditions. The success of multiple gram-scale (1 and 10 g) experiments further highlights the robustness and practicality of this protocol and the merit of the employment of red light. Mechanistic studies support the formation of a crucial CF3 radical species and a dearomatized benzyl carbocation intermediate.

Abstract
A new copper-catalyzed two-component amino-benzoyloxylation of unactivated alkenes of unsaturated ketoximes with O-benzoylhydroxylamines as the benzoyloxy sources is developed. Chemoselectivity of this method toward amino-benzoyloxylation or oxy-benzoyloxylation of alkenyl ketoximes relies on the position of the tethered olefins, and provides an external-oxidant-free alkene difunctionalization route that directly utilizes O-benzoylhydroxylamines as the benzoyloxy radical precursors and internal oxidants for the divergent synthesis of cyclic nitrones and isoxazolines.

Abstract
A novel visible-light-induced radical tandem trifluoromethylation/cyclization of unactivated alkenes with sodium perfluoroalkanesulfinates (Rf = CF3, C3F7, C4F9, C6F13, C8F17) under air atmosphere has been developed. A range of quinazolinones containing unactivated alkene moiety and sodium perfluoroalkanesulfinates were compatible with this transformation, leading to a variety of perfluoroalkyl-substituted quinazoline alkaloids. Remarkably, the experiment can be carried out without any metal catalyst, strong oxidant, or external photosensitizer.

Abstract
A novel and efficient Brønsted acid-promoted hydroamination of hydrazone-tethered olefins has been developed. A variety of pyrazolines have been easily obtained in good to excellent yields with high chemo- and regioselectivity under simple and mild conditions. This method represents a straightforward, facile, and practical approach toward biologically important 5-arylpyrazolines, which are difficult to access by previously reported radical hydroamination of β,γ-unsaturated hydrazones. An efficient, chemo- and regioselective Brønsted acid-promoted hydroamination reaction of hydrazone-tethered olefins towards 5-arylpyrazolines was developed.![]()

Abstract
The C═C double bond cleavage on tertiary enaminones, enabling the formation of a new C-CF3 bond, has been realized as a practical method for the synthesis of α-trifluoromethyl ketones with only the promotion of TBHP and ambient heating. Control experiments support that the reactions proceed via a featured free radical process. The deuterium labeling experiment employing D2O indicates that water participated in the product formation by donating the hydrogen atom for the newly generated α-C-H bond in the product.

Abstract
A Cu-catalyzed aerobic oxidative cyclization of β,γ-unsaturated hydrazones for the preparation of pyrazole derivatives has been developed. The hydrazonyl radical promoted the cyclization, along with a concomitant C═C bond cleavage of β,γ-unsaturated hydrazones. This process has been verified via several control experiments, including a radical-trapping study, an 18O-labeling method, and the identification of the possible byproducts. The advantages of this reaction include operational simplicity, a broad reaction scope, and a mild selective reaction process.

Abstract
A highly efficient BF3·OEt2-mediated cyclization of β,γ-unsaturated oximes and tosylhydrazones with N-(arylthio/arylseleno)succinimides has been established for the construction of N-heterocycles in a one-step manner. This metal-free cyclization provides direct access to isoxazoles and dihydropyrazoles in good to excellent yields at room temperature. The mechanistic experiments support the formation of a cationic species PhS+ which plays a critical role in this cyclization process.

Abstract
Isoxazoline compounds are used as important intermediates for the synthesis of organic molecules, which are widely used in the chemical and life science industries. Oxime-participating cyclization has emerged as an efficient strategy for the construction of isoxazolines. This review is devoted to highlighting the main achievements (since 2010) in the development of methodologies for the synthesis of isoxazolines. According to the reaction mechanism, the oxime-participating synthesis of isoxazolines can be mainly classified into four reaction types: iminoxyl radical-initiated intramolecular cyclization, intermolecular radical addition-initiated cyclization, intramolecular nucleophilic cyclization, and [3 + 2] cycloaddition. Meanwhile, miscellaneous examples are also illustrated, such as [2 + 2 + 1] cycloaddition. Representative reactions will be discussed for each of the highlighted synthetic strategies. In addition, the enantioselective synthesis of isoxazolines is also illustrated in this review.

Abstract
N-Oxyl radicals (compounds with an N-O• fragment) represent one of the richest families of stable and persistent organic radicals with applications ranging from catalysis of selective oxidation processes and mechanistic studies to production of polymers, energy storage, magnetic materials design and spectroscopic studies of biological objects. Compared to other N-oxyl radicals, oxime radicals (or iminoxyl radicals) have been underestimated for a long time as useful intermediates for organic synthesis, despite the fact that their precursors, oximes, are extremely widespread and easily available organic compounds. Furthermore, oxime radicals are structurally exceptional. In these radicals, the N-O• fragment is connected to an organic moiety by a double bond, whereas all other classes of N-oxyl radicals contain an R2N-O• fragment with two single C-N bonds. Although oxime radicals have been known since 1964, their broad synthetic potential was not recognized until the last decade, when numerous selective reactions of oxidative cyclization, functionalization, and coupling mediated by iminoxyl radicals were discovered. This review is focused on the synthetic methods based on iminoxyl radicals developed in the last ten years and also contains some selected data on previous works regarding generation, structure, stability, and spectral properties of these N-oxyl radicals. The reactions of oxime radicals are classified into intermolecular (oxidation by oxime radicals, oxidative C-O coupling) and intramolecular. The majority of works are devoted to intramolecular reactions of oxime radicals. These reactions are classified into cyclizations involving C-H bond cleavage and cyclizations involving a double C=C bond cleavage.

Abstract
A copper-catalyzed [2 + 2 + 1] heteroannulation of alkenes with enynyl benziodoxolones and AgNO2 involving oxidative cleavage of the C≡C bond promoted by cooperative Zn(OTf)2, KOAc, and 4 Å MS for producing 3-aryl Δ2-isoxazolines is reported. Mechanistic studies indicate that AgNO2 serves as the N/O two-atom unit source, enabling the formation of three bonds through NO2 addition across the C≡C bond, NO-transfer, C≡C bond cleavage, and annulation cascades.
