Capturing PM2.5 Emissions from 3D Printing via Nanofiber-based Air Filter

Accurate measurements of particle emissions from a three-dimensional printer using a chamber test with a mixer-installed sampling system

Recently, three-dimensional (3D) printing has attracted attention as a new manufacturing technology. However, there is lack of data and regulations regarding the emissions of ultrafine particles from 3D printers. Therefore, we investigated particle emissions from a 3D printer using a chamber system. The test system was improved by installing a developed mixer for accurate measurement. Without a mixer, the particle concentration was unstable depending on the sampling point; however, reliable data with good uniformity were obtained by installing a mixer. Using the test system with a mixer, we investigated particle emissions from a 3D printer during operation. Filaments made each of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and polylactic acid (PLA) were used as the printing material. The effects of nozzle temperature and printing time were investigated. Compared to the effect of the printing time, the nozzle temperature had greater impact on the particle emissions. The dominant particle size for the emissions from a 3D printer is less than 10 nm, and the particle concentration decreased with increasing particle size.

Metal compositions of particle emissions from material extrusion 3D printing: Emission sources and indoor exposure modeling

Material extrusion 3D printing has been widely used in industrial, educational and residential environments, while its exposure health impacts have not been well understood. High levels of ultrafine particles are found being emitted from 3D printing and could pose a hazard when inhaled. However, metals that potentially transfer from filament additives to emitted particles could also add to the exposure hazard, which have not been well characterized for their emissions. This study analyzed metal (and metalloid) compositions of raw filaments and in the emitted particles during printing; studied filaments included pure polymer filaments with metal additives and composite filaments with and without metal powder. Our chamber study found that crustal metals tended to have higher partitioning factors from filaments to emitted particles; silicon was the most abundant element in emitted particles and had the highest yield per filament mass. However, bronze and stainless-steel powder added in composite filaments were less likely to transfer from filament to particle. For some cases, boron, arsenic, manganese, and lead were only detected in particles, which indicated external sources, such as the printers themselves. Heavy metals with health concerns were also detected in emitted particles, while their estimated exposure concentrations in indoor air were below air quality standards and occupational regulations. However, total particle exposure concentrations estimated for indoor environments could exceed ambient air fine particulate standards.

Volatile organic compound and particulate emissions from the production and use of thermoplastic biocomposite 3D printing filaments

Biocomposites (BCs) can be used as substitutes for unsustainable polymers in 3D printing, but their safety demands additional investigation as biological fillers may produce altered emissions during thermal processing. Commercial filament extruders can be used to produce custom feedstocks, but they are another source of airborne contaminants and demand further research. These knowledge gaps are targeted in this study. Volatile organic compound (VOC), carbonyl compound, ultrafine particle (UFP), and fine (PM_2.5) and coarse (PM₁₀) particle air concentrations were measured in this study as a filament extruder and a 3D printer were operated under an office environment using one PLA and four PLA-based BC feedstocks. Estimates of emission rates (ERs) for total VOCs (TVOC) and UFPs were also calculated. VOCs were analyzed with a GC-MS system, carbonyls were analyzed with an LC-MS/MS system, whereas real-time particle concentrations were monitored with continuously operating instruments. VOC concentrations were low throughout the experiment; TVOC ranged between 34-63 µg/m³ during filament extrusion and 41-56 µg/m³ during 3D printing, which represent calculated TVOC ERs of 2.6‒3.6 × 10² and 2.9‒3.6 × 10² µg/min. Corresponding cumulative carbonyls ranged between 60-91 and 190-253 µg/m³. Lactide and miscellaneous acids and alcohols were the dominant VOCs, while acetone, 2-butanone, and formaldehyde were the dominant carbonyls. Terpenes contributed for ca. 20-40% of TVOC during BC processing. The average UFP levels produced by the filament extruder were 0.85 × 10²-1.05 × 10³ #/cm³, while the 3D printer generated 6.05 × 10²-2.09 × 10³ #/cm³ particle levels. Corresponding particle ERs were 5.3 × 10⁸-6.6 × 10⁹ and 3.8 × 10⁹-1.3 × 10¹⁰ #/min. PM_2.5 and PM₁₀ particles were produced in the following average quantities; PM_2.5 levels ranged between 0.2-2.2 µg/m³, while PM₁₀ levels were between 5-20 µg/m³ for all materials. The main difference between the pure PLA and BC feedstock emissions was terpenes, present during all BC extrusion processes. BCs are similar emission sources as pure plastics based on our findings, and a filament extruder produces contaminants at comparable or slightly lower levels in comparison to 3D printers.

Characterization of Emissions in Fab Labs: An Additive Manufacturing Environment Issue

The emergence of additive manufacturing (AM) technologies, such as 3D printing and laser cutting, has created opportunities for new design practices covering a wide range of fields and a diversity of learning and teaching settings. The potential health impact of particulate matter and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted from AM technologies is, therefore, a growing concern for makers. The research behind this paper addresses this issue by applying an indoor air quality assessment protocol in an educational fabrication laboratory. The paper presents the evaluation of the particle emission rate of different AM technologies. Real-time monitoring of multiple three-dimensional Polylactic Acid (PLA), Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) printers and Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) laser cutters was performed in different usage scenarios. Non-contact electrical detectors and off-line gas chromatography–mass spectrometry (GC-MS) were used to detect VOCs. The results show that the emitted particle surface area concentrations vary between 294 and 406.2 μm2/cm3 for three-dimensional printers, and between 55.06 and 92.3 μm2/cm3 for laser cutters. The experiments demonstrate that the emission concentrations were highly dependent on the filtration systems in place. The highest quantities of VOCs emitted included Cyclohexene and Benzyl Alcohol for PLA, ABS and TPE 3D printers, and formic acid and Xylene for PMMA laser cutters. The experiment concludes that signature emissions are detectable for a given material type and an AM technology pair. A suitable mitigation strategy can be specified for each signature detected. Finally, this paper outlines some guidelines for improving indoor air quality in such specific environments. The data provided, as well as the proposed indoor air quality protocol, can be used as a baseline for future studies, and thus help to determine whether the proposed strategies can enhance operator and bystander safety.

State of the art in additive manufacturing and its possible chemical and particle hazards-review

Additive manufacturing, enabling rapid prototyping and so-called on-demand production, has become a common method of creating parts or whole devices. On a 3D printer, real objects are produced layer by layer, thus creating extraordinary possibilities as to the number of applications for this type of devices. The opportunities offered by this technique seem to be pushing new boundaries when it comes to both the use of 3D printing in practice and new materials from which the 3D objects can be printed. However, the question arises whether, at the same time, this solution is safe enough to be used without limitations, wherever and by everyone. According to the scientific reports, three-dimensional printing can pose a threat to the user, not only in terms of physical or mechanical hazards, but also through the potential emissions of chemical substances and fine particles. Thus, the presented publication collects information on the additive manufacturing, different techniques, and ways of printing with application of diverse raw materials. It presents an overview of the last 5 years' publications focusing on 3D printing, especially regarding the potential chemical and particle emission resulting from the use of such printers in both the working environment and private spaces.

Electrospinning of Nanofibrous Membrane and Its Applications in Air Filtration: A Review

Air pollution caused by particulate matter and toxic gases is violating individual’s health and safety. Nanofibrous membrane, being a reliable filter medium for particulate matter, has been extensively studied and applied in the field of air purification. Among the different fabrication approaches of nanofibrous membrane, electrospinning is considered as the most favorable and effective due to its advantages of controllable process, high production efficiency, and low cost. The electrospun membranes, made of different materials and unique structures, exhibit good PM2.5 filtration performance and multi-functions, and are used as masks and filters against PM2.5. This review presents a brief overview of electrospinning techniques, different structures of electrospun nanofibrous membranes, unique characteristics and functions of the fabricated membranes, and summarization of the outdoor and indoor applications in PM filtration.

Electrospun Nanofiber Mats for Filtering Applications-Technology, Structure and Materials

Air pollution is one of the biggest health and environmental problems in the world and a huge threat to human health on a global scale. Due to the great impact of respiratory viral infections, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer, asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, lung disease, and heart disease, respiratory allergies are increasing significantly every year. Because of the special properties of electrospun nanofiber mats, e.g., large surface-to-volume ratio and low basis weight, uniform size, and nanoporous structure, nanofiber mats are the preferred choice for use in large-scale air filtration applications. In this review, we summarize the significant studies on electrospun nanofiber mats for filtration applications, present the electrospinning technology, show the structure and mechanism of air filtration. In addition, an overview of current air filtration materials derived from bio- and synthetic polymers and blends is provided. Apart from this, the use of biopolymers in filtration applications is still relatively new and this field is still under-researched. The application areas of air filtration materials are discussed here and future prospects are summarized in conclusion. In order to develop new effective filtration materials, it is necessary to understand the interaction between technology, materials, and filtration mechanisms, and this study was intended to contribute to this effort.

Dynamic Analysis of Particle Emissions from FDM 3D Printers through a Comparative Study of Chamber and Flow Tunnel Measurements

Ultrafine particle emissions originating from fused deposition modeling (FDM) three-dimensional (3D) printers have received widespread attention recently. However, the obvious inconsistency and uncertainty in particle emission rates (PERs, #/min) measured by chamber systems still remain, owing to different measurement conditions and calculation models used. Here, a dynamic analysis of the size-resolved PER is conducted through a comparative study of chamber and flow tunnel measurements. Two models to resolve PER from the chamber and a model for flow tunnel measurements were examined. It was found that chamber measurements for different materials underestimated PER by up to an order of magnitude and overestimated particle diameters by up to 2.3 times, while the flow tunnel measurements provided more accurate results. Field measurements of the time-resolved particle size distribution (PSD) in a typical room environment could be predicted well by the flow tunnel measurements, while the chamber measurements could not represent the main PSD characteristics (e.g., particle diameter mode). Secondary aerosols (>30 nm) formed in chambers were not observed in field measurements. Flow tunnel measurements were adopted for the first time as a possible alternative for the study of 3D printer emissions to overcome the disadvantages in chamber methods and as a means to predict exposure levels.

Emissions and health risks from the use of 3D printers in an occupational setting

The aim of this study was to determine concentrations of particulates and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted from 3D printers using polylactic acid (PLA) filaments at a university workroom to assess exposure and health risks in an occupational setting. Under typical-case (one printer) and worst-case (three printers operating simultaneously) scenarios, particulate concentration (total and respirable), VOCs and formaldehyde were measured. Air samples were collected in the printing room and adjacent hallway. Size-resolved levels of nano-diameter particles were also collected in the printing room. Total particulate levels were higher in the worst-case scenario (0.7 mg/m³) vs. typical-case scenario (0.3 mg/m³). Respirable particulate and formaldehyde concentrations were similar between the two scenarios. Size-resolved measurements showed that most particles ranged from approximately 27 to 116 nm. Total VOC levels were approximately 6-fold higher during the worst-case scenario vs. typical situation with isopropyl alcohol being the predominant VOC. Airborne concentrations in the hallway were generally lower than inside the printing room. All measurements were below their respective occupational exposure limits. In summary, emissions of particulates and VOCs increased when multiple 3D printers were operating simultaneously. Airborne levels in the adjacent hallway were similar between the two scenarios. Overall, data suggest a low risk of significant and persistent adverse health effects. Nevertheless, the health effects attributed to 3D printing are not fully known and adherence to good hygiene principles is recommended during use of this technology.

Nanocluster Aerosol Emissions of a 3D Printer

Many studies exist that characterize the aerosol emissions from fused filament fabrication three-dimensional (3D) printers. However, nanocluster aerosol (NCA) particles, that is particles in a size range under 3 nm, are rarely studied. The purpose of this study was to characterize the NCA emissions and the contribution of NCA to the total particle number emissions from a 3D printer. We used a particle size magnifier and a scanning mobility particle sizer to measure the time evolution of particle size distribution, which was used to calculate the average NCA emission rates during a printer operation in a chamber. The NCA emission rates ranged from 1.4 × 10⁶ to 7.3 × 10⁹ s^-1 depending on the applied combination of filament material and nozzle temperature, showing increasing emission with increasing temperature. The NCA emissions constitute from 9 to 48% of the total emissions, that is, almost half of the particle emissions may have been previously neglected. Therefore, it is essential to include the low NCA size range in, for example, future 3D-printer-testing protocols, emission measurement standards, and risk management measures.

3D-Printed Lab-on-a-Chip Diagnostic Systems-Developing a Safe-by-Design Manufacturing Approach

The aim of this study is to provide a detailed strategy for Safe-by-Design (SbD) 3D-printed lab-on-a-chip (LOC) device manufacturing, using Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technology. First, the applicability of FFF in lab-on-a-chip device development is briefly discussed. Subsequently, a methodology to categorize, identify and implement SbD measures for FFF is suggested. Furthermore, the most crucial health risks involved in FFF processes are examined, placing the focus on the examination of ultrafine particle (UFP) and Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) emission hazards. Thus, a SbD scheme for lab-on-a-chip manufacturing is provided, while also taking into account process optimization for obtaining satisfactory printed LOC quality. This work can serve as a guideline for the effective application of FFF technology for lab-on-a-chip manufacturing through the safest applicable way, towards a continuous effort to support sustainable development of lab-on-a-chip devices through cost-effective means.

The characteristics and formation mechanisms of emissions from thermal decomposition of 3D printer polymer filaments

Ultrafine particles (UFP) and volatile organic compounds (VOC) emitted from fused deposition modelling (FDM) 3D printing have received widespread attention. Here, we characterize the formation mechanisms of emissions from polymer filaments commonly used in FDM 3D printing. The temporal relationship between the amount and species of total VOC (TVOC) at any desired operating thermal condition is obtained through a combination of evolved gas analysis (EGA) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to capture physicochemical reactions, in which the furnace of EGA or TGA closely resembles the heating process of the nozzle in the FDM 3D printer. It is generally observed that emissions initiate at the start of the glass transition process and peak during liquefaction for filaments. Initial increment in emissions during liquefaction and the relatively constant decomposition of products in the liquid phase are two main TVOC formation mechanisms. More importantly, low heating rate has the potential to restrain the formation of carcinogenic monomer, styrene, from ABS. A TVOC measurement method based on weight loss is further proposed and found that TVOC mass yield was 0.03%, 0.21% and 2.14% for PLA, ABS, and PVA, respectively, at 220 °C. Among TVOC, UFP mass accounts for 1% to 5% of TVOC mass depending on the type of filaments used. Also, for the first time, emission of UFP from the nozzle is directly observed through laser imaging.

Particle and organic vapor emissions from children's 3-D pen and 3-D printer toys

Objective: Fused filament fabrication "3-dimensional (3-D)" printing has expanded beyond the workplace to 3-D printers and pens for use by children as toys to create objects.Materials and methods: Emissions from two brands of toy 3-D pens and one brand of toy 3-D printer were characterized in a 0.6 m3 chamber (particle number, size, elemental composition; concentrations of individual and total volatile organic compounds (TVOC)). Insights Into Emissions and Exposures From Use of Industrial-Scale Additive Manufacturing Machines

BACKGROUND

Emerging reports suggest the potential for adverse health effects from exposure to emissions from some additive manufacturing (AM) processes. There is a paucity of real-world data on emissions from AM machines in industrial workplaces and personal exposures among AM operators.

METHODS

Airborne particle and organic chemical emissions and personal exposures were characterized using real-time and time-integrated sampling techniques in four manufacturing facilities using industrial-scale material extrusion and material jetting AM processes.

RESULTS

Using a condensation nuclei counter, number-based particle emission rates (ERs) (number/min) from material extrusion AM machines ranged from 4.1 × 1010 (Ultem filament) to 2.2 × 1011 [acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and polycarbonate filaments). For these same machines, total volatile organic compound ERs (μg/min) ranged from 1.9 × 104 (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene and polycarbonate) to 9.4 × 104 (Ultem). For the material jetting machines, the number-based particle ER was higher when the lid was open (2.3 × 1010 number/min) than when the lid was closed (1.5-5.5 × 109 number/min); total volatile organic compound ERs were similar regardless of the lid position. Low levels of acetone, benzene, toluene, and m,p-xylene were common to both AM processes. Carbonyl compounds were detected; however, none were specifically attributed to the AM processes. Personal exposures to metals (aluminum and iron) and eight volatile organic compounds were all below National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH)-recommended exposure levels.

CONCLUSION

Industrial-scale AM machines using thermoplastics and resins released particles and organic vapors into workplace air. More research is needed to understand factors influencing real-world industrial-scale AM process emissions and exposures.

VOC Emissions and Formation Mechanisms from Carbon Nanotube Composites during 3D Printing

A commercially available, 3D printer nanocomposite filament of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) was analyzed with respect to its VOC emissions during simulated fused deposition modeling (FDM) and compared with a regular ABS filament. VOC emissions were quantified and characterized under a variety of conditions to simulate the thermal degradation that takes place during FDM. Increasing the residence time and temperature resulted in significant increases in VOC emissions, and the oxygen content of the reaction gas influenced the VOC profile. In agreement with other studies, the primary emitted VOC was styrene. Multiple compounds are reported in this work for the first time as having formed during FDM, including 4-vinylcyclohexene and 2-phenyl-2-propanol. Our results show that printing 222.0 g of filament is enough to surpass the reference concentration for inhalation exposure of 1 mg/m³ according to the EPA's Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS). The presence of CNTs in the filament influenced VOC yields and product ratios through three types of surface interactions: (1) adsorption of O₂ on CNTs lowers the available O₂ for oxidation of primary backbone cleavage intermediates, (2) adsorption of styrene and other VOCs to CNTs leads to surface-catalyzed degradation, and (3) CNTs act as a trap for certain VOCs and prevent them from entering vapor emissions. While the presence of CNTs in the filament lowered the total VOC emission under most experimental conditions, they increased the emission of the most hazardous VOCs, such as α-methylstyrene and benzaldehyde. The present study has identified an increased risk associated with the use of CNT nanocomposites in 3D printing.

Particle emissions from fused deposition modeling 3D printers: Evaluation and meta-analysis

Fused deposition modeling (FDM) 3D printers, the most popular choice among home hobbyists, have been shown to release volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) and billions of airborne particles per minute, indicating the potential for consumer inhalation exposure and consequent health risks. Publications on FDM 3D printer emissions however, contain large heterogeneity of testing methods and analytical procedures making it difficult to reach overall conclusions for particle characteristics or particle number emission rates across the field. In this publication, data were collected over the printing time from 3D printer emission studies including particle count diameters (PCDs) (nanometers), particle number concentrations (PNCs) (particles/cm³), and particle number emission rates (PNERs) (particles min^-1). Despite heterogeneity in methods, the majority of particles released were reported as ultrafine in size (i.e., <100 nm) indicating that using both acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) and poly-lactic acid (PLA) may present a risk of exposure to respirable particles. Mean PNC emitted in 3D printing tests ranged over several orders of magnitude across publications with overall means of 300,980 particles/cm³ for ABS and 65,482 particles/cm³ for PLA. Although mean PNC data were available from only 7 of the 16 papers reviewed, ABS resulted in greater particle numbers than PLA suggesting increased exposure to ultrafine particles. A linear mixed model was fitted for mean PNCs to further explore the impact of nozzle temperature and filament material. Finally, the PNER calculation method especially regarding losses, varied widely across studies, and directly impacted the PNERs reported. To strengthen direct comparability of results going forward, it is recommended that standard emissions testing protocols be developed for FDM 3D printers and particle influxes and losses be more uniformly calculated.

Evaluation of emissions and exposures at workplaces using desktop 3-dimensional printer

There is a paucity of data on additive manufacturing process emissions and personal exposures in real-world workplaces. Hence, we evaluated atmospheres in four workplaces utilizing desktop "3-dimensional" (3-d) printers [fused filament fabrication (FFF) and sheer] for production, prototyping, or research. Airborne particle diameter and number concentration and total volatile organic compound concentrations were measured using real-time instruments. Airborne particles and volatile organic compounds were collected using time-integrated sampling techniques for off-line analysis. Personal exposures for metals and volatile organic compounds were measured in the breathing zone of operators. All 3-d printers that were monitored released ultrafine and fine particles and organic vapors into workplace air. Particle number-based emission rates (#/min) ranged from 9.4 × 109 to 4.4 × 1011 (n = 9samples) for FFF3-d printers and from 1.9 to 3.8 × 109 (n = 2 samples) for a sheer 3-d printer. The large variability in emission rate values reflected variability from the printers as well as differences in printer design, operating conditions, and feedstock materials among printers. A custom-built ventilated enclosure evaluated at one facility was capable of reducing particle number and total organic chemical concentrations by 99.7% and 53.2%, respectively. Carbonyl compounds were detected in room air; however, none were specifically attributed to the 3-d printing process. Personal exposure to metals (aluminum, iron) and 12 different organic chemicals were all below applicable NIOSH Recommended Exposure Limit values, but results are not reflective of all possible exposure scenarios. More research is needed to understand 3-d printer emissions, exposures, and efficacy of engineering controls in occupational settings.

Highly Durable Superhydrophobic Polymer Foams Fabricated by Extrusion and Supercritical CO2 Foaming for Selective Oil Absorption

The severe water contamination caused by oil leakage is calling for low-cost and high-performance absorbent materials for selective oil removal. In this study, a scalable green method was proposed to produce polypropylene (PP)/poly(tetrafluoroethylene) (PTFE) composite foams via conventional processing techniques including twin-screw extrusion and supercritical carbon dioxide foaming. To produce the superhydrophobic foam, micro- and nanosized PTFE particles were melt blended with PP and subsequently foamed. Ascribed to the nanofibrillation of microsized PTFE during processing, the fabricated foam exhibited a special highly porous structure with PTFE nanofibrils and nanoparticles uniformly distributed on the pore surfaces within the PP matrix, which resulted in a remarkably high water contact angle of 156.8° and a low contact angle hysteresis of 1.9°. Unlike traditional surface-modified superhydrophobic absorbers, the foams prepared are entirely superhydrophobic, which means that they remain superhydrophobic when being fractured or cut. Moreover, they are highly durable and maintained the superhydrophobicity when subjected to ultrasonication and mechanical sanding. When used in selective oil absorption, the durable foams exhibited excellent absorption efficiency and high stability in repetitive and long-term use. These advantages make the PP/PTFE foam a promising superabsorbent material for water remediation.

3D printing of musculoskeletal tissues: impact on safety and health at work

Additive manufacturing (commonly referred to as 3D printing) created an attractive approach for regenerative medicine research in musculoskeletal tissue engineering. Given the high number of fabrication technologies available, characterized by different working and physical principles, there are several related risks that need to be managed to protect operators. Recently, an increasing number of studies demonstrated that several types of 3D printers are emitters of ultrafine particles and volatile organic compounds whose harmful effects through inhalation, ingestion and skin uptake are known. Confirmation of danger of these products is not yet final, but this provides a basis to adopt preventive measures in agreement with the precautionary principle. The purpose of this investigation was to provide a useful tool to the researcher for managing the risks related to the use of different kinds of three-dimensional printers (3D printers) in the lab, especiallyconcerning orthopedic applications, and to define appropriate control measures. Particular attention was given to new emerging risks and to developing response strategies for a comprehensive coverage of the health and safety of operators.

High-performance inertial impaction filters for particulate matter removal

Airborne particulate matter (PM) is causing more and more serious air pollution and threatening the public health. However, existing air filter technologies with the easy-to-block manner can rarely meet the requirements of high-performance PM filters. Here we propose a conceptually new type of inertial impaction filters for rapidly high-efficiency PM removal. Under the airflow velocity of 8.0 m/s, the real inertial impaction filters show high PM removal efficiencies of up to 97.77 ± 1.53% and 99.47 ± 0.45% for PM2.5 and PM10, respectively. Compared with the traditional air filters reported previously, the inertia impaction filters exhibit extremely low pressure drop of 5-10 Pa and high quality factor (QF) values of 0.380 Pa-1 and 0.524 Pa-1 for PM2.5 and PM10, respectively. These greatly improved QF values are achieved through a series of inertial separation processes. The feature dimension of filtration channel is dozens of times larger than PM average size, which greatly decreases airflow resistance. Particularly, this inertial structure can be made of various types of materials, which shows great potential for low-cost fabrication of large-area devices. As a stand-alone device or incorporated with the existing PM air filter, this inertial impaction filter will bring great benefits to the public health.
