Abstract
Human papillomavirus (HPV) has been linked to the development of various cancers, including head and neck, cervical, vaginal, penile, and anal cancers. The development of therapeutic vaccines against HPV-positive tumors is crucial for protecting individuals already infected with HPV, preventing tumor progression, and effectively treating the disease. The HPV therapeutic peptide-based vaccines demonstrate specificity and safety advantages by targeting specific epitopes while minimizing the risk of allergic or autoimmune reactions. However, HPV therapeutic peptide-based vaccines typically lack immunogenicity and frequently fail to induce effective immune responses. Therefore, there is a need for more effective approaches to improve the immunogenicity of HPV peptide-based vaccines. Here, we review relevant research and possible uses for increasing the immunogenicity and therapeutic efficacy of HPV peptide-based vaccines through combined therapy and improved delivery strategies. Additional research is necessary to validate the application of combination therapy and delivery strategy modifications as standard treatment approaches for HPV therapeutic peptide-based vaccines.

Abstract
BACKGROUND We aimed to develop a nomogram to predict abnormal follow-up results of co-testing for cytology and human papillomavirus (HPV) in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) patients after conization. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS 263 patients initially diagnosed as CIN2+ were recruited. Data on immunohistochemical (IHC) staining scores, along with demographic and clinical information were collected. Using least absolute shrinkage and selection operator (LASSO) regression analysis, variables were identified for inclusion. A predict model and nomogram were developed through multi-factor logistic regression. The goodness-of-fit test was applied across different cohorts to construct the calibration curve of the model, and the predictive effect was evaluated by the receiver operating characteristic curve. Decision curve analysis was performed to determine the net benefit. RESULTS Five predictor variables, including protein expression score, vaginal infection, HPV coinfection, and cone height were screened and plotted as a nomogram. The calibration curves showed a good fit. The area under the curve of the model was 0.835 for the training cohort and 0.728 for the internal test cohort. The decision curve analysis indicated that the nomogram provides significant net advantages for clinical use. CONCLUSION A practical nomogram predict model was developed to predict abnormal follow-up outcomes in CINs after conization.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to evaluate and compare the Cervex-Brush® and Orcellex® Brush as sampling devices for vaginal vault smear cytology in cervical cancer patients treated primarily with radiotherapy. METHOD A randomized crossover trial was conducted at a gynecological oncology center in Hong Kong to compare the Cervex-Brush® and Orcellex® Brush in terms of their vault smear adequacy rate in cervical cancer patients who underwent radiotherapy. RESULTS One hundred sixty cervical cancer patients treated with primary radiotherapy and undergoing follow-up surveillance by vaginal vault cytology were recruited. The smear adequacy rate was 90.6% for Cervex-Brush® and 91.9% for Orcellex® Brush. The rates of low cellularity for both brushes were similar (76.8% for Cervex-Brush® vs. 76.1% for Orcellex® Brush). The detection rates of abnormal smears were also not significantly different (2.8% for Cervex-Brush® vs. 4.2% for Orcellex® Brush). The 2 brushes were also not significantly different in terms of pain score and degree of bleeding. It was further observed that the second smear collection was more painful and patients who were on hormonal replacement therapy demonstrated less bleeding. CONCLUSION There was no difference between the Orcellex® brush and the Cervex-Brush® in terms of smear adequacy rate, rate of high cellularity and the detection of abnormal smears. There was also no significant difference between the 2 brushes in terms of pain and the degree of bleeding. Therefore, the Orcellex® Brush can be considered a suitable alternative sampling device for vault smear collection in patients who have undergone radiotherapy for cervical cancer. Abstract
BACKGROUND Mexico reports low follow-up completion rates among women with abnormal cervical cancer screenings. This study aimed to identify barriers and facilitators to follow-up adherence among women with human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and premalignant cervical lesions in Mexico. METHODS A mixed-methods study was conducted from February to April 2019. Participants included women undergoing follow-up care for high-risk human papillomavirus (HR-HPV) and premalignant lesions, along with health personnel from the Women's Healthcare Center (CAPASAM) in Mexico. Quantitative data were obtained from the Women's Cancer Information System and through a questionnaire about factors affecting follow-up adherence. Additionally, the health personnel involved completed a compliance checklist regarding care regulations. Descriptive statistics were used for analysis. Qualitative data were collected via semi-structured interviews with both groups, followed by a content analysis based on identified categories. The Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point System confirmed care process risks. Proposals to enhance the Early Detection Program for Prevention and Control of Cervical Cancer were collected from a CAPASAM health personnel nominal group. RESULTS Identified barriers to follow-up included low income among CAPASAM users, family provider roles limiting time for appointments, long waits for testing and results delivery, distant facilities, insufficient service hour communication, inadequate health personnel training, and a lack of systematic counseling. Hesitation toward follow-up was also linked to shame, apprehension, uncertainty, test aversion, fear of positive results, and limited cervical cancer and screening knowledge. Patriarchal attitudes of partners and limited access to the now-discontinued PROSPERA government program further discouraged follow-up. Facilitators comprised respectful treatment by CAPASAM staff, no-cost services, health campaigns, and positive user attitudes. CONCLUSIONS The study found more barriers than facilitators to follow-up adherence, highlighting the need for strategies to bolster the Early Detection Program. Future strategies must address the comprehensive array of factors and incorporate stakeholder perspectives.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Cervical carcinoma (CC) is prevalent among women worldwide with increasing risk. Finding effective methods for treating CC is of utmost importance. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of SERPINE1 on the progression of cervical precancerous lesions to CC. DESIGN This study used transcriptome sequencing and in vitro cell line. Participants/Materials: Cervical precancerous lesions and CC samples and human cervical epithelial immortalized cell line H8, human CC cell lines HeLa, and CaSki were involved in this study. SETTING AND METHODS Next-generation sequencing was applied to identify 100 differentially expressed genes from cervical precancerous lesions and CC samples. With the application of the Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes (STRING) database, we carried out the protein-protein interaction network analysis, thus screening out serine protease inhibitor clade E member 1 (SERPINE1) with significant upregulation in CC cells. The helicase-like transcription factor (HLTF) was predicted as the upstream transcription factor using Human Transcription Factor Database (HumanTFDB). The chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) experiment was conducted to validate the interaction between SERPINE1 and HLTF. The immunohistochemistry was employed to determine the expression of SERPINE1 and HLTF in CC tissues. Following the upregulation or downregulation of SERPINE1 and HLTF, the real-time quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction was carried out to assess mRNA expression levels of SERPINE1 and HLTF in cells. Cell viability, migration, and invasion were evaluated using MTT assay, cell scratch assay, and Transwell assay, respectively. Western blot analysis was conducted to assess changes in the expression levels of matrix metalloproteinases and proteins related to epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). RESULTS The ChIP experiment confirmed the interaction between HLTF and SERPINE1. HLTF and SERPINE1 were upregulated in CC tissues and cells, and silencing SERPINE1 inhibited the EMT process and viability, migration, and invasion of CC cells. However, overexpression of SERPINE1 in CC cells showed the opposite trend. Rescue experiments demonstrated that silencing HLTF repressed CC cell viability, migration, and invasion, which could be restored by overexpressing SERPINE1. LIMITATIONS The effect of the HLTF/SERPINE1 axis on CC malignant progression has not been confirmed by in vivo experiments. CONCLUSION HLTF transcriptionally activates SERPINE1, promoting the progression from cervical precancerous lesions to CC.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE This study aims to explore the role of SH2D3A in cervical cancer, as well as its potential interaction with human papillomavirus (HPV) E7 and microRNA (miRNA). METHODS Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and immunohistochemistry were used to compare the expressions of SH2D3A in tissues. To assess the effects of SH2D3A on cervical cancer cell phenotypes, SH2D3A was knocked down in SiHa and HeLa cells, followed by cell proliferation (Cell Counting Kit-8 assay), apoptosis (flow cytometry), and invasion (Transwell assay) analyses. A transplantation tumor model was established to compare the tumorigenic ability of cervical cancer cells before and after SH2D3A silencing. Bioinformatics analysis predicted and dual-luciferase reporter assays verified the sponge adsorption effect of SH2D3A on miRNA. Western blot and qRT-PCR analyses were conducted to examine the impact on target genes following the downregulation of HPV E7 and SH2D3A. RESULTS SH2D3A expression was significantly elevated in cervical cancer tissues. SH2D3A silencing inhibited cell proliferation and invasion, induced apoptosis, and reduced tumorigenesis in nude mice. Bioinformatics tools identified a binding relationship between SH2D3A and miR-143-3p, confirmed by the luciferase reporter assays. Western blot analysis revealed that SH2D3A knockdown led to decreased levels of Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) and signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3) proteins. Additionally, qRT-PCR showed that SH2D3A mRNA levels decreased after HPV E7 silencing, whereas miR-143-3p levels significantly increased. CONCLUSION HPV E7 influences SH2D3A expression through miR-143-3p, thereby regulating the JAK1/STAT3 pathway. This mechanism promotes the occurrence and development of cervical cancer.

Abstract
Background The prognostic significance of Treg and Th17 cells, as well as their ratio (Th17/Treg), in cervical cancer remains a topic of debate. Our study aimed to clarify their association with patient survival and clinical outcomes in cervical cancer through a comprehensive meta-analysis. Materials and methods We conducted a comprehensive search in PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science to identify eligible studies. Studies related to cervical cancer and involving Treg cells or Th17 cells were included. For prognostic analysis, we collected Hazard Ratio values of patient survival. For studies focusing on clinical characteristics, we selected mean and standard deviation values for further analysis. This study was registered at PROSPERO (ID:CRD42024546507). Results Out of the 2949 records initially retrieved, we ultimately included 21 studies in our analysis. High levels of Treg cells were found to be correlated with shorter survival in patients with cervical cancer. Subgroup analysis revealed that the prognostic effect of Treg cells on cervical cancer was not influenced by their source or definition. However, analyses of different survival measures indicated that only Overall Survival showed a correlation with Treg cell levels. Additionally, Treg cells were associated with clinical staging. High-grade Th17 cells were associated with lymphatic metastases and advanced clinical stage. The Th17/Treg ratio was found to be elevated in both cervical intraepithelial neoplasia and cervical cancer patients compared to controls. Discussion Despite limitations such as heterogeneity among selected studies and inadequate subgroup analyses, our study contributes to a deeper understanding of the significance of Treg cells in the onset and progression of cervical cancer. Abstract
Background Lower- and middle-income countries (LMICs) are disproportionately impacted by human papillomavirus (HPV) and would benefit from implementing the HPV vaccine. In the context of competing health priorities, utilizing scarce domestic infrastructure and human resources for HPV vaccination remains challenging for many LMICs. Given the high benefits of the HPV vaccine, the World Health Organization (WHO) is now encouraging for all countries, particularly LMICs, to introduce HPV vaccines into their routine immunization programs. Understanding the barriers and facilitators to HPV adolescent vaccine programs in LMICs may help strengthen how LMICs implement HPV vaccine programs, in turn, increasing HPV vaccine acceptance, uptake, and coverage. Objective To identify and assess barriers and facilitators to implementing adolescent HPV vaccination programs in LMICs. Methods This study comprised a review of literature assessing adolescent HPV vaccination in LMICs published after 2020 from a sociocultural perspective. Results Overall, the findings showed that LMICs should prioritize increasing HPV vaccine availability and HPV vaccine knowledge, particularly focusing on cancer prevention, as knowledge reduces misinformation and increases vaccine acceptance. Evidence suggests that factors promoting HPV vaccine uptake include fostering low vaccine hesitancy, integrating HPV vaccination as a primary school routine vaccination, and vaccinating both genders. A one-dose HPV vaccine may enable many LMICs to increase vaccine acceptance, uptake, and coverage while controlling financial, infrastructure, and human resource costs. Conclusion As HPV is one of the leading causes of death in many LMICs, implementing the HPV vaccine may be highly beneficial. Cohesive national HPV vaccine buy-in and understanding the success and challenges of prior LMIC HPV vaccine implementation is crucial to developing effective, efficient, and sustainable HPV vaccination programs.

Abstract
BACKGROUND In China, the national cervical cancer screening protocol involves initial testing for high-risk human papillomavirus (hrHPV), followed by cytology for hrHPV-positive cases. This study evaluates the effectiveness of PAX1 methylation (PAX1m) analysis in identifying precancerous or cancerous lesions in cervical samples from Chinese women positive for non-16/18 hrHPV strains. METHODS Between February 2022 and March 2023, 281 cervical samples from non-16/18 hrHPV-positive women underwent cytological examination and PAX1m analysis. The study assessed the statistical relationship between PAX1m levels and the presence of cervical lesions, comparing the diagnostic performance of PAX1m to conventional cytology. RESULTS A significant association was found between PAX1 methylation levels and the risk of CIN2 + and CIN3 + lesions, with 47 instances of CIN2 + detected. Odds ratios (ORs) for moderate and high PAX1m levels were 8.86 (95% CI: 2.24-42.17) and 166.32 (95% CI: 47.09-784.97), respectively. The area under the ROC curve for PAX1m in identifying CIN2 + lesions was 0.948 (95% CI: 0.895-0.99). PAX1m demonstrated similar sensitivity and negative predictive value (NPV) to cytology but reduced the colposcopy referral rate from 47.7% with cytology alone to 25.6% with PAX1m, showing superior specificity and positive predictive value across age groups. CONCLUSIONS PAX1 methylation is a strong indicator of CIN2 + and CIN3 + risk, offering diagnostic performance comparable to cytology with the added benefit of reduced unnecessary colposcopy referrals. These findings support the use of PAX1m analysis as a reliable tool for triaging non-16/18 hrHPV-positive women in outpatient settings.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cytological screening remains a high-impact practice, particularly in low-resource settings, for preventing cervical cancer. The examination of screening practices over time and the prevalence of epithelial abnormalities have not been investigated in longitudinal studies in one of the largest countries in the Middle East and Africa. METHODS Routine healthcare data, between March 1981 and December 2022, were extracted from the database of the Early Cancer Detection Unit in a tertiary referral university hospital in the Greater Cairo Region, Egypt. Cervical smears were obtained using a standardized technique and sent to the cytopathology laboratory for conventional cytology examination by expert pathologists. The anonymous data were analyzed to determine the temporal trend of the number of women screened each year and the prevalence of epithelial abnormalities. RESULTS Data included the results of satisfactory smears from 95120 women. The mean age (SD) of the women at the time of screening was 38.5 (10.5). None of the included women received an HPV vaccine. Abnormal epithelial cells were reported in 5174 women (5.44%). Of these epithelial abnormalities, the majority were low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions in 4144 women (4.36%). Other abnormalities included atypical squamous cells in 378 women (0.40%), high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions in 226 women (0.24%), atypical glandular cells not otherwise specified in 184 women (0.19%), adenocarcinoma in 165 women (0.17%), squamous cell carcinoma in 70 women (0.07%), and atypical glandular cells favoring neoplasms in 7 women (0.01%). Women who were at an early age at first intercourse, those who opted for routine cervical cytology screening, and those who were older at screening were more likely to have epithelial abnormalities. The yearly number of screened women was positively associated with the detection of low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (correlation coefficient [95% CI] = 0.84 [0.72, 0.91]) and negatively associated with the detection of squamous cell carcinoma (correlation coefficient [95% CI] = -0.55 [-0.73, -0.29]). CONCLUSIONS The small number of annually screened Egyptian women and the temporal trend in epithelial abnormalities critically demonstrate the need for establishing and scaling up a structured population-based program to achieve the goal of eliminating cervical cancer.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cervical cancer is a prevalent malignancy of the female reproductive system. Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) is a precursor lesion for CC. Various studies have examined circulating microRNAs (miRNAs) as potential early diagnostic markers for CC and CIN. However, the findings have been inconclusive. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy and identify potential sources of variability among these studies. METHODS The PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Web of Science databases were searched to identify relevant literature. Then, Stata 14.0 was utilized to calculate summary estimates for diagnostic parameters, including sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio (PLR), negative likelihood ratio (NLR), diagnostic odds ratio (DOR), and area under the summary receiver operating characteristic (ROC). To scrutinize the heterogeneity, the Cochran-Q test and I2 statistic were utilized. As significant heterogeneity was observed, the random effects model was chosen. To explore potential sources of the heterogeneity, subgroup and regression analyses were conducted. RESULTS We analysed 12 articles reporting on 24 studies involving 1817 patients and 1731 healthy controls. The pooled sensitivity was 0.77 (95% CI 0.73-0.81), the specificity was 0.81 (95% CI 0.73-0.86), the PLR was 3.99 (95% CI 2.81-5.65), the NLR was 0.28 (95% CI 0.23-0.35), the DOR was 14.18 (95% CI 8.47-23.73), and the area under the curve (AUC) was 0.85 (95% CI 0.81-0.87). Subgroup analysis revealed that multiple miRNAs can improve diagnostic performance; the pooled sensitivity of multiple miRNAs was 0.78 (95% CI 0.68-0.86), the specificity was 0.85 (95% CI 0.78-0.90), and the AUC was 0.89 (95% CI 0.86-0.91). CONCLUSION This study suggested that circulating microRNAs may be biomarkers for early CC diagnosis.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Precancerous cervical lesions develop in the transformation zone of the cervix and progress through stages known as cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) 1, 2, and 3. If untreated, CIN2 or CIN3 can lead to cervical cancer. The determinants of cervical precancerous lesions are not well documented in Ethiopia. Therefore, this study aims to find the determinants of cervical precancerous lesions among women screened for cervical cancer at public health facilities. METHODS A study conducted from January to April 2020 involved 216 women, consisting of 54 cases (positive for VIA during cervical cancer screening) and 162 controls (negative for VIA). It focused on women aged 30 to 49 undergoing cervical cancer screening. Multivariable logistic regression analysis assessed the link between precancerous lesions and different risk factors, considering a significance level of p < 0.05. RESULTS Women who used oral contraceptives for a duration exceeding five years showed a nearly fivefold increase in the likelihood of developing precancerous lesions (Adjusted Odds Ratio (AOR) = 4.75; 95% CI: 1.48, 15.30). Additionally, early age at first sexual intercourse (below 15 years) elevated the odds of developing precancerous lesions fourfold (AOR = 3.77; 95% CI: 1.46, 9.69). Furthermore, women with HIV seropositive results and a prior history of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) had 3.4 times (AOR = 3.45; 95% CI: 1.29, 9.25) and 2.5 times (AOR = 2.58; 95% CI: 1.10, 6.09) higher odds of developing cervical precancerous lesions compared to their counterparts. CONCLUSION In conclusion, women who have used oral contraceptives for over five years, started sexual activity before the age of 15 and have a history of sexually transmitted infections, including HIV, are at higher risk of developing precancerous cervical lesions. Targeted intervention strategies aimed at promoting behavioural change to prevent early sexual activity and STIs are crucial for avoiding cervical precancerous lesions. It is crucial to introduce life-course principles for female adolescents early on, acknowledging the potential to prevent and control precancerous lesions at critical stages in life, from early adolescence to adulthood, encompassing all developmental phases.

Abstract
Cervical cancer is a significant concern for women, necessitating early detection and precise treatment. Conventional cytological methods often fall short in early diagnosis. The proposed innovative Heap Optimizer-based Self-Systematized Neural Fuzzy (HO-SsNF) method offers a viable solution. It utilizes HO-based segmentation, extracting features via Gray-Level Co-Occurrence Matrix (GLCM) and Local Binary Pattern (LBP). The proposed SsNF-based classifier achieves an impressive 99.6% accuracy in classifying cervical cancer cells, using the Herlev Pap Smear database. Comparative analyses underscore its superiority, establishing it as a valuable tool for precise cervical cancer detection. This algorithm has been seamlessly integrated into cervical cancer diagnosis centers, accessible through smartphone applications, with minimal resource demands. The resulting insights provide a foundation for advancing cancer prevention methods.

Abstract
Extragenital warts caused by HPV types 6 and 11 are rarely reported. However, major risk factors for anogenital warts (AGW) include men who have sex with men (MSM) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection. The incidence of extragenital warts among these populations has not been reported. This study presented a case report of a 33-year-old male with high-risk sexual behavior who showed symptoms of flesh-colored and hyperpigmentation papules. Furthermore, verrucous surfaces were observed at genital and extragenital. The patient had a history of using the same razor for pubic and armpit hair, bathing with a mesh scrub, and scratching the anal area. The histopathological result showed koilocytes, while polymerase chain reaction (PCR) examination for both genital and extragenital lesions confirmed HPV type 6 and 11. This represented the first reported case describing the incidence of extragenital and AGW caused by HPV types 6 and 11. The transmission of extragenital warts was facilitated through fomites autoinoculation, particularly in the immunocompromised condition induced by HIV, which was common among MSM. Extragenital warty-like lesions were considered as warts caused by HPV type 6/11, in HIV-infected persons, specifically MSM.

Abstract
The DNA methylation levels of host cell genes increase with the severity of the cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) grade and are very high in cervical cancer. Our study aims to evaluate FAM19A4 and hsa-miR124-2 methylation in Atypical Squamous cells with high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (ASC-H) and in CIN1, defined as low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions (LSILs) by the Bethesda classification, as possible early warning biomarkers for managing women with high-risk HPV infections (hrHPV). FAM19A4 and hsa-miR124-2 methylation tests were conducted on fifty-six cervical screening samples from a subset of women aged 30-64 years old. Specimens were collected into ThinPrep PreservCyt Solution. Their HrHPV genotype and cytology diagnosis were known. A Qiasure (Qiagen) was used for FAM19A4 and hsa-miR124-2 methylation testing on bisulfite-converted DNA, according to the manufacturer's specifications. The reported results were hypermethylation-positive or -negative. We found that FAM194A4 and hsa-miR124-2 methylation was detected in 75% of ASC-H cases with a persistent infection of hrHPV. A total of 60% of CIN1 lesions were found to be positive for methylation, and 83.3% were when the cytology was CIN2/3. In addition, as a novelty of this pilot study, we found that combined FAM19A4 and hsa-miR124-2 methylation positivity rates (both methylated) were associated with the HPV genotypes 16, 18, and 59 and covered 22 and 25% of ASC-H and CIN1 cases, respectively. The methylation of these two genes, in combination with HPV genotyping, can be used as an early warning biomarker in the management and follow-up of women with ASC-H and CIN1 to avoid their progression to cervical cancer.

Abstract
Objective The primary objective of this study was to evaluate patients' knowledge regarding HPV vaccination and vaccine uptake in a diverse patient population. The secondary objective was to evaluate factors influencing the decision to vaccinate, potential barriers to vaccination, and to assess whether HPV vaccines were offered to or discussed with eligible patients in a safety net Obstetrics and Gynecology (Ob/Gyn) clinic. Methods A 28-item survey was developed using Likert scale survey questions to assess patient agreement with statements regarding HPV and the vaccine. The surveys were administered to patients in the Ob/Gyn outpatient clinics from May 2021 through September 2022. Additionally, pharmacy data were reviewed and chart review was performed as a quality improvement initiative to assess the impact of expanded HPV vaccine eligibility to patients with private insurance on vaccine uptake. Descriptive statistics were performed. Results 304 patients completed surveys from May 2021 through September 2022. The median age of respondents was 32 (range 18-80). 16 (5%) were Non-Hispanic White, 124 (41%) were Hispanic White, 58 (19%) were Non-Hispanic Black, 6 (2%) were Hispanic Black, 29 (9.5%) were Haitian, 44 (14%) were Hispanic Other, 7 (2%) were Non-Hispanic Other, 20 (6.6%) did not respond. 45 (14%) patients were uninsured. Many patients (62%) reported that a physician had never discussed HPV vaccination with them. Seventy nine percent of patients reported they had never received the HPV vaccine, and 69% of patients reported that lack of a medical provider recommendation was a major barrier. Among patients to whom HPV vaccination had been recommended, 57% reported that the vaccine was not available the same day in clinic. Conclusion Our study demonstrated that many patients never had a provider discuss HPV vaccination with them and never received the HPV vaccine. Additionally, amongst those who did initiate HPV vaccination, completion of the series remains a key barrier. Ensuring that providers discuss HPV vaccination and that patients receive HPV vaccines, along with expanding access to and convenience of HPV vaccination are critical aspects of preventing cervical cancer.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Understanding HPV vaccination willingness and its influencing factors among female sex workers (FSWs) in entertainment venues in an urban area of Guangxi, China. METHODS From 15 August to 15 October 2022, FSWs in entertainment venues with commercial sex trade in an urban area of Guangxi were selected as the study subjects for the questionnaire survey using the method of intentional sampling. The questionnaire based on the information-motivation-behavior (IMB) skills model was used to collect the basic characteristics, HPV and HPV vaccine-related information and cognition, motivation to vaccinate, behavioral skills and willingness to vaccinate from the research targets. A multifactor logistic regression model was used to analyze the factors influencing the research targets' willingness to receive HPV vaccination. RESULTS Of the 921 research targets, 712 (77.31%) were willing to receive HPV vaccination. The higher the level of knowledge regarding HPV and HPV vaccine-related information, the higher the motivation for HPV vaccination. In addition, the higher the behavioral skills score, the higher the willingness of FSWs in entertainment venues to receive HPV vaccination (P<0.001). FSWs in entertainment venues with lower venue grades [OR(95% CI)=0.693 (0.539, 0.891), P=0.004] were more reluctant to receive HPV vaccination. Those who favored the effectiveness of the vaccine in preventing the disease [OR(95% CI)=2.144 (1.449, 3.174), P<0.001] and those who had heard of HPV vaccine [OR(95% CI)=2.105 (1.451, 3.054), P<0.001], were able to perceive the benefits of HPV vaccination [OR(95% CI)=1.134 (1.045, 1.230), P=0.002]. These individuals acquired greater behavioral skills i.e., self-decision making for HPV vaccination [OR(95% CI)=1.130 (1.008, 1.267), P=0.036] and self-efficacy [OR(95% CI)=1.135 (1.081, 1.191), P<0.001] and they were more willing to receive HPV vaccine. CONCLUSIONS There was a relatively high HPV vaccination willingness among FSWs in entertainment venues in an urban area of Guangxi, China. Attention should be focused on introducing the benefits of primary prevention measures such as the HPV vaccine for individuals and behavioral skills for HPV vaccination in order to increase their willingness to be vaccinated thus increasing their HPV vaccination rate.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Cervical cancer is the fourth most common malignant tumor troubling women worldwide. Whether marital status affects the prognosis of cervical cancer is still unclear. Here, we investigate the prognostic value of marital status in patients with cervical cancer based on the seer database. MATERIAL/METHODS The demographic and clinical data of patients with cervical cancer were extracted from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database from 1975 to 2017. Patients were divided into two groups (married and unmarried) according to marital status, and then the clinical characteristics of each group were compared using the chi-square test. Propensity score matching (PSM) was used to reduce differences in baseline characteristics. The overall survival (OS) and cervical cancer-specific survival (CCSS) were assessed by the Kaplan-Meier method, univariate and multivariate Cox regression models, and stratified analysis. Moreover, univariate and multivariate competing risk regression models were performed to calculate hazard ratios (HR) of death risk. RESULTS A total of 21,148 patients were included in this study, including 10,603 married patients and 10,545 unmarried patients. Married patients had better OS(P < 0.05) and CCSS (P < 0.05) compared to unmarried patients, and marital status was an independent prognostic factor for both OS (HR: 0.830, 95% CI: 0.798-0.862) and CCSS (HR: 0.892, 95% CI: 0.850-0.937). Moreover, after eliminating the competing risk, married patients (CCSD: HR:0.723, 95% CI: 0.683-0.765, P < 0.001) had a significantly decreased risk of death compared to unmarried patients. In stratified analysis, the married patients showed better OS and CCSS than the unmarried patients diagnosed in 1975-2000 and 2001-2017. CONCLUSIONS Being married was associated with a favorable prognosis of cervical cancer, and marital status was an independent prognostic factor for cervical cancer.
