Abstract
BACKGROUND Considering the adverse clinical consequences of pathologic tachycardia and the potential anxiety caused by physiological tachycardia in some heathy individuals, it is imperative to disseminate health information related to tachycardia for promotion in early diagnosis and appropriate management. YouTube has been increasingly used to access health care information. The aim of this study is to assess the quality and reliability of English YouTube videos focusing on tachycardia and further delve into strategies to enhance the quality of online health resources. METHODS We conducted a search using the specific key words "tachycardia" in YouTube online library on December 2, 2023. The first 150 videos, ranked by "relevance", were initially recorded. After exclusions, a total of 113 videos were included. All videos were extracted for characteristics and categorized based on different topics, sources or contents. Two independent raters assessed the videos using Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria, Modified DISCERN (mDISCERN) tool, Global Quality Scale (GQS) and Tachycardia-Specific Scale (TSS), followed by statistical analyses. All continuous data in the study were presented as median (interquartile range). RESULTS The videos had a median JAMA score of 2.00 (1.00), mDISCERN of 3.00 (1.00), GQS of 2.00 (1.00), and TSS of 6.00 (4.50). There were significant differences in JAMA (P < 0.001), mDISCERN (P = 0.004), GQS (P = 0.001) and TSS (P < 0.001) scores among different sources. mDISCERN (P = 0.002), GQS (P < 0.001) and TSS (P = 0.030) scores significantly differed among various contents. No significant differences were observed in any of the scores among video topics. Spearman correlation analysis revealed that VPI exhibited significant correlations with quality and reliability. Multiple linear regression analysis suggested that longer video duration, sources of academics and healthcare professionals were independent predictors of higher reliability and quality, while content of ECG-specific information was an independent predictor of lower quality. CONCLUSIONS The reliability and educational quality of current tachycardia-related videos on YouTube are low. Longer video duration, sources of academics and healthcare professionals were closely associated with higher video reliability and quality. Improving the quality of internet medical information and optimizing online patient education necessitates collaborative efforts.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study seeks to examine the reliability, quality, and content of YouTube videos on cubital tunnel syndrome, on which there is presently a paucity of information. METHODS The top 50 unique YouTube videos by relevance resulting from the Boolean search term "cubital tunnel + cubital tunnel syndrome" were identified, with video properties for analysis including source, upload date, duration, views, and comments. Content was assessed using the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) criteria, the Global Quality Score (GQS), and a "Cubital Tunnel-Specific Score" (CTSS). RESULTS The average video saw 72 108 ± 199 362 views, with videos produced by allied (nonphysician) health professionals demonstrating the highest mean views (111 789 ± 294 471 views). Videos demonstrated low mean JAMA scores (2.4/4 ± 0.7), GQS (2.8/5 ± 1.3), and CTSS (7.5/21 ± 4.3), with academic and nonacademic physician videos demonstrating significantly greater mean GQS and CTSS scores when compared with videos by allied health professionals. Positive independent predictors for GQS included academic sources (β = 1.871), nonacademic physician sources (β = 1.651), and video duration (β = 0.102), which were likewise positive predictors for CTSS (β = 4.553, 4.639, 0.374). Content relating to surgical techniques or approaches for cubital tunnel decompression had the greatest CTSS scores (11.2 [4.2]). CONCLUSIONS YouTube is a source of highly accessible information on cubital tunnel syndrome, although the average video presents generally poor and inadequate information. Directing patients toward higher quality video resources can be a meaningful component of patient education.

Abstract
Since orthopedic surgery has been slower to acknowledge the rise of social media for distributing medical information, this study aims to evaluate TikTok videos' quality and educational value in relation to carpal tunnel syndrome treatment exercises. TikTok was searched using the hashtags "#carpaltunnelexercises", "#carpaltunnelremedies", "#carpaltunnelrehab", and "#physicaltherapyforcarpaltunnel". The engagement indicators were documented and the video content quality was assessed using the DISCERN, CTEES, JAMA, and GQS grading scales. There were 101 videos included, which accumulated 20,985,730 views. The videos received 1,460,953 likes, 15,723 comments, 243,245 favorites, and 159,923 shares. Healthcare professionals were responsible for 72% of the video uploads, whereas general users contributed 28%. More healthcare professionals' videos were graded as "poor" (79%) compared to general users (21%). General users received slightly more video grades of "very poor" (52%) than healthcare professionals (48%). For the DISCERN grading, the videos by healthcare professionals were significantly better than those by general users in terms of reliability, achieving aims, and relevancy. They were also superior in the overall composition of the health information derived from the total DISCERN score. However, no significant differences were found between the two groups when using the CTEES, JAMA, and GQS grading scales. Overall, despite the emergence of TikTok as a medical information tool, the quality and educational value of the carpal tunnel syndrome exercise videos were poor.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine is a subset of nuclear magnetic resonance imaging technology that produces images of the body using magnetic field gradients. The MRI Machine has two components: the computer-based control centre room and the adjacent MRI machine room where the patient undergoes the scan. AIMS This study aimed to assess the quality and reliability of YouTube videos about MRI machines, MRI scans, and MRI claustrophobia and compare the quality and reliability of the videos among different types of uploaders. Methodology: The YouTube Search Algorithm and a Google Sheets questionnaire were used to evaluate 10 videos that satisfied the inclusion criteria of the study. The video analytics included were title, number of views, likes and dislikes, comments, duration, source, and content. The quality of each video was established using the Global Quality Score (GQS), Reliability Score, and Video Power Index (VPI), where each quantifier went through statistical analysis using SPSS software, version 21.0 (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY) to determine if there was any significance. RESULTS In order to determine statistical differences between the groups, the Kruskal-Wallis test was used on the quantifiers GQS, reliability score, and VPI to generate p-values. The p-value for VPI is 0.467, GQS is 0.277, and reliability is 0.316. All the p-values are greater than 0.05, showing that there is no statistical support for any significant difference between the groups in their VPI, GQS and reliability scores. CONCLUSIONS YouTube videos with high-quality and reliable information on MRI machines, MRI procedures, and claustrophobia, especially those uploaded by clinicians and hospitals, can provide correct information, helping patients decide to undergo these procedures and alleviate claustrophobia.

Abstract
Background and objective The significance of YouTube as a prominent source of healthcare-related information cannot be overstated. Its influence on patient education is substantial. However, despite its popularity, there has been little research into the quality and comprehensibility of videos related to ankle fractures, a condition with increasing incidence rates, particularly in the context of Turkey. To address this gap in the literature and the growing reliance on digital platforms for health information during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, this study aims to assess the quality, clarity, and pedagogical value of YouTube videos on ankle fractures for the Turkish population. Methodology A comprehensive examination of 150 YouTube videos concerning ankle fractures, employing exacting inclusion and exclusion criteria to identify 52 videos for in-depth analysis was undertaken. The investigation entailed an assessment of content quality, presentation style, and user interaction, utilizing the criteria established by the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) and the Patient Education Materials Assessment Tool (PEMAT), as well as a novel measurement known as the Ankle Fracture Content Score (AFCS). A statistical analysis was executed to gauge the educational value and dependability of the information presented. Results The majority of ankle fracture management videos were found to be uploaded by medical professionals, covering various aspects such as rehabilitation and patient testimonials. However, the overall educational quality was suboptimal, with patient-shared videos lacking in depth and accuracy. Statistical analysis showed no significant differences in content quality across different uploader categories, except for notably lower educational quality in videos shared by patients. Conclusions The findings underscore a significant need for healthcare professionals and academic institutions in Turkey to produce and share high-quality, reliable, and comprehensible videos on ankle fractures. Leveraging YouTube's extensive reach can significantly improve health literacy among the Turkish public, ensuring access to accurate and trustworthy health information.

Abstract
Purpose To provide an evaluation of the quality of diagnostic and treatment information regarding ulnar collateral ligament injuries on YouTube. Methods YouTube was searched using the terms "ulnar collateral ligament," "Tommy John surgery," and "UCL surgery." The first 100 results for each 3 terms were screened for inclusion. Each included video was graded based on its diagnostic and treatment content and assigned a quality assessment rating. Video characteristics such as duration, views, and "likes" were recorded and compared between video sources and quality assessment ratings. Results A total of 120 videos were included in the final analysis. Only 17.5% provided very useful to excellent quality content. Only 3 videos (2.5%) provided excellent quality content; these were all physician-sponsored videos. These 3 videos only achieved an excellent score for diagnostic content; no video achieved an excellent score for treatment content. Most videos were scored as somewhat useful for both diagnostic (40%) and treatment (56.7%) content. Videos classified as somewhat useful had the highest number of average views (27,197), with a mean duration of 7 minutes 40 seconds. The most common video source was physician sponsored (32%), followed by educational (26%). Physician videos had the lowest number of views (5,842 views). Conclusions The quality of ulnar collateral ligament-related information on YouTube is low. Differential diagnoses for related symptoms, accurate surgical indications, and thorough discussions of adverse outcomes were the most lacking information. Physician-sponsored and educational videos provided the highest-quality information but had the lowest number of average views. Clinical Relevance Because most Internet users in the United States search for information regarding their medical issues online, it is important to understand the quality of available online medical information. Knowing this can help inform the necessary next steps to improve the quality and comprehensibility of online medical information.

Abstract
Background Ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction (UCLR) is commonly performed on adolescent athletes, who often turn to online sources such as YouTube for health information. The purpose of this study was to retrospectively review the accuracy, reliability, and quality of UCLR videos using validated scoring instruments. Methods YouTube was queried for "Tommy John surgery," "UCL reconstruction," and "ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction." After categorization by physician, nonphysician/trainer, patient or commercial source, videos were assessed for reliability and quality using the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria (0-4) and DISCERN tool (16-80). Results 104 videos were included in the final analysis. 74% of videos (77/104) were made by physicians. The mean JAMA and DISCERN scores for all videos were 3.1 ± 0.8 and 46.1 ± 8.5, respectively. The majority of videos were rated as "fair" based on DISCERN score (56/104, 53.8%). JAMA scores were significantly higher for physician videos compared to nonphysician videos (3.3 ± 0.8 vs 2.6 ± 0.7, p < 0.0001), but no such difference was found for DISCERN scores (46.3 ± 7.7 vs 45.3 ± 10.57, p = 0.43). Conclusion Physicians should be cognizant of the quality and reliability of YouTube videos when instructing patients on information sources related to UCLR.

BACKGROUND Given a prolonged course of Cervical spondylosis (CS) could cause irreversible neurological deficits, it is crucial to disseminate CS-related health information to the public to promote early diagnosis and treatment. YouTube has been widely used to search for medical information. However, the reliability and quality of videos on YouTube vary greatly. Thus, this study aimed to assess the reliability and educational quality of YouTube videos concerning CS and further explore strategies for optimization of patient education. METHODS We searched YouTube online library for the keywords "cervical spondylosis", "cervical radiculopathy" and "cervical myelopathy" on January 15, 2023. Ranked by "relevance", the first 50 videos of each string were recorded. After exclusions, a total of 108 videos were included. All videos were extracted for characteristics and classified based on different sources or contents. Two raters independently evaluated the videos using Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria, Modified DISCERN (mDISCERN) tool, Global Quality Scale (GQS) and Cervical-Spondylosis-Specific Scale (CSSS), followed by statistical analyses. All continuous data were described as median (interquartile range). RESULTS All videos had median values for JAMA, mDISCERN, GQS and CSSS scores of were 3.00 (1.00), 3.00 (2.00), 2.00 (1.00) and 7.00 (8.88), respectively. There were significant differences in VPI (P = 0.009) and JAMA (P = 0.001), mDISCERN (P < 0.001), GQS (P < 0.001) and CSSS (P < 0.001) scores among different sources. Videos from academic source had advantages in reliability and quality scores than other sources. VPI (P < 0.001), mDISCERN (P = 0.001), GQS (P < 0.001) and CSSS (P = 0.001) scores also significantly differed among videos of various contents. Spearman correlation analysis indicated VPI was not correlated with either reliability or quality. Multiple linear regression analysis showed a longer duration and an academic source were independent predictors of higher reliability and quality, while a clinical source also led to the higher video quality. CONCLUSIONS The reliability and educational quality of current CS-related videos on YouTube are unsatisfactory. Users face a high risk of encountering inaccurate and misleading information when searching for CS on YouTube. Longer duration, source of academic or clinician were closely correlated to higher video reliability and quality. Improving the holistic reliability and quality of online information requires the concerted effort from multiple parties, including uploaders, the platform and viewers.

Abstract
Background YouTube plays an influential role in disseminating health-related information in the digital age. This study aimed to evaluate YouTube videos on transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) in terms of their information value and quality. Methods In this descriptive study, we ranked the first 100 videos that met the inclusion criteria using the search term "transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation" on October 30, 2022. These videos were classified according to the number of views, likes, dislikes, comments, duration, popularity and content categories. Reliability, quality, and accuracy of the videos were assessed using the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) Benchmark Criteria and Modified DISCERN Questionnaire and Global Quality Score (GQS). Video popularity were calculated by the Video Power Index (VPI). Results Based on the GQS results, we found that 59, 27, and 14 videos had low, intermediate, and high quality, respectively. In addition, based on the JAMA results, 79 and 21 videos had poor and high reliability, respectively. No statistically significant difference was found between the JAMA, modified DISCERN and GQS scores in terms of the sources of videos (p = 0.226, p = 0.115, p = 0.812). Notably, there was a weak positive correlation between the JAMA scores and the number of views (r = 0.204, p = 0.041). Conclusion According to our study results, most YouTube videos on TENS were of low quality and reliability. Additionally, most videos were uploaded from sources created by doctors; the most frequently found content was about the TENS procedure, and content on complications of the procedure became less frequent as the videos became more recent. In particular, it was found that videos uploaded by academics have longer duration. It has been found that reliable videos with high JAMA scores also have high number of views. Accordingly, it can be concluded that videos with higher quality and more reliability that are created by healthcare providers will be more useful for patients seeking information about TENS.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Youtube has become an influential source of health. This study aimed to evaluate the reliability and quality of YouTube videos on spasticity. METHODS The keywords " spasticity, spasticity treatment, spasticity exercises" were used to search for videos. According to the search results, 180 videos were analyzed, videometric characteristics of the videos were recorded, and 2 groups were formed as health professionals and non-health professionals according to the video source. In addition, low, medium and high quality groups were formed using the global quality score (GQS). The reliability of the videos was evaluated using the modified DISCERN (mDISCERN) scale. Video popularity was assessed using the video power index (VPI). RESULTS After excluding videos that met the exclusion criteria, the remaining 68 videos were analyzed. The videos were uploaded by healthcare professionals (n = 47, 69.1%) and non-healthcare professionals (n = 21, 30.9%). The popularity (VPI), reliability (mDISCERN) and quality (GQS) of videos uploaded by healthcare professionals were significantly higher (p = 0.002, p = 0.001, p = 0.021, respectively). Most of the videos were of high quality according to GQS (n = 40, 58.8%). All of the high quality videos were of healthcare professionals. The number of sources from healthcare professionals was significantly higher in high quality videos than in both low (p = 0.001) and medium (p = 0.001) quality videos. CONCLUSION We can conclude that most of the YouTube videos on spasticity are reliable and of high quality. However, it should be kept in mind that patients may be exposed to low-quality and unreliable videos with misleading content.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Videos uploaded to YouTube do not go through a review process. The educational aspect of these videos may be insufficient for patellofemoral pain syndrome (PFP). OBJECTIVE To examine the reliability and educational quality of PFP videos on YouTube. METHODS A standard search was performed in the YouTube database using the following terms: patellofemoral pain syndrome/anterior knee pain syndrome/anterior knee pain/patellofemoral pain. For each search term, the top 50 videos based on "relevance" assignment of YouTube's algorithm were included in the examination. The remaining 96 videos after exclusion were included in the study. The educational quality and reliability of videos was analyzed using DISCERN, JAMA (The criteria of Journal of the American Medical Association), GQS (Global Quality Score) and PFPSS (Patellofemoral Pain Specific Score). RESULTS According to PFPSS, 81.2% of the videos were evaluated as low and very low quality. According to the DISCERN classification, 74.9% of the videos were evaluated as poor and very poor. According to GQS, 59.4% of the videos had scores of 2 or less, which were considered poor quality. According to JAMA, 41.7% of the videos scored 2 and below. CONCLUSIONS The information content of YouTube videos is inadequate. Video design should be created to be understandable by patients and to attract their attention while making these videos.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators (SARMs) social media interest is at an all-time high. The aim of this study is to analyze the: (1) quality; (2) educational content; and (3) reliability of the most relevant YouTube videos on SARMs to explain growing SARMs abuse by recreational and professional athletes. METHODS 'SARMs' was queried (28 November 2021) through the YouTube video library. The top 100 videos filtered by relevance were categorized by source, type of content, educational quality by Global Quality Score (GQS), reliability by Journal of American Medicine Association (JAMA) criteria, YouTube tags, attitude toward SARMs use, and whether the video provided specific support on how to use SARMs. For all outcome variables, descriptive statistics and comparison among source types and category types were performed. RESULTS Mean JAMA score was 1.6 ± 0.7 out of 4. Mean GQS score was 2.5 ± 1.1 out of 5. Patient videos were of lower educational quality than athletic trainer videos (GQS: 2.11 ± 0.95 vs. 2.95 ± 1.00, p < 0.01), and videos categorized as user experience were of lower educational quality than videos categorized as general SARMs information (GQS: 1.92 ± 0.90 vs. 2.72 ± 1.07, p < 0.05). User experience and dosing recommendation videos were statistically significantly more positive in attitude than both general SARMs information and SARMS vs. other PEDs. CONCLUSION Quality, content, and reliability of SARMs YouTube videos was low. Social media likely causes SARMs abuse through disseminating biased SARMs misinformation. These results serve to educate public health oversight bodies, healthcare providers, and sports team members to better identify signs of SARMs abuse, and promote discussion to discourage SARMs abuse.

Abstract
Background Ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) reconstruction has received a unique level of attention in the press and social media. There has also been an increasing use of the internet by patients to seek medical information. Concern exists regarding the quality and comprehensibility of online information when used for patient education. Purpose To evaluate the quality and comprehensibility of the most-viewed YouTube videos related to the diagnosis and management of UCL injuries. Based on our new evidence-based scoring rubrics, we hypothesized that the quality and comprehensibility of these videos would be poor. Study Design Cross-sectional study. Methods The YouTube platform was searched on September 7, 2021, with the terms "UCL injury," "ulnar collateral ligament injury," "UCL surgery," "ulnar collateral ligament surgery," and "Tommy John surgery," and the 50 most-viewed videos from each search were compiled, yielding 250 videos. After removal of duplicates and application of exclusion criteria, the 100 most-viewed videos remained. Basic attributes, including duration of video and number of views, were recorded. Each video was then analyzed by 2 independent reviewers and evaluated for 4 key parameters (quality of diagnostic content [QAR-D], quality of treatment content [QAR-T], presence of inaccurate information, and comprehensibility) and graded on a novel scale from 1 to 4 (4 being the most appropriate for patient education). Results The mean QAR-D was 4.83 ± 3.41 (fair quality), and the mean QAR-T was 2.76 ± 3.26 (poor quality). Physician-led educational videos had both the highest mean QAR-D (6.37) and the highest mean QAR-T (4.34). No correlation was observed between video quality and views/likes. A total of 12 videos included ≥1 inaccuracy. The mean comprehensibility score was 2.66 ± 1.12, with 39 videos falling below the acceptable comprehensibility threshold (score <3). Conclusion The overall quality of UCL injury-related YouTube content was low. In addition, the absence of correlation between video quality and views/likes suggests that patients are not preferentially utilizing the limited high-quality content that does exist on the YouTube platform. In addition, inaccurate videos were prevalent (12%), and almost half of all videos were deemed inappropriate for patient education in terms of comprehensibility, as defined by our comprehensibility parameter.

Abstract
BACKGROUND TikTok was an important channel for consumers to access and adopt health information. But the quality of health content in TikTok remains underinvestigated. OBJECTIVE Our study aimed to identify upload sources, contents, and feature information of gallstone disease videos on TikTok and further evaluated the factors related to video quality. METHODS We investigated the first 100 gallstone-related videos on TikTok and analyzed these videos' upload sources, content, and characteristics. The quality of videos was evaluated using quantitative scoring tools such as DISCERN instrument, the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria, and Global Quality Scores (GQS). Moreover, the correlation between video quality and video characteristics, including duration, likes, comments, and shares, was further investigated. RESULTS According to video sources, 81% of the videos were posted by doctors. Furthermore, disease knowledge was the most dominant video content, accounting for 56% of all the videos. The mean DISCERN, JAMA, and GQS scores of all 100 videos are 39.61 (SD 11.36), 2.00 (SD 0.40), and 2.76 (SD 0.95), respectively. According to DISCERN and GQS, gallstone-related videos' quality score on TikTok is not high, mainly at fair (43/100, 43%,) and moderate (46/100, 46%). The total DISCERN scores of doctors were significantly higher than that of individuals and news agencies, surgery techniques were significantly higher than lifestyle and news, and disease knowledge was significantly higher than news, respectively. DISCERN scores and video duration were positively correlated. Negative correlations were found between DISCERN scores and likes and shares of videos. In GQS analysis, no significant differences were found between groups based on different sources or different contents. JAMA was excluded in the video quality and correlation analysis due to a lack of discrimination and inability to evaluate the video quality accurately. CONCLUSIONS Although the videos of gallstones on TikTok are mainly provided by doctors and contain disease knowledge, they are of low quality. We found a positive correlation between video duration and video quality. High-quality videos received low attention, and popular videos were of low quality. Medical information on TikTok is currently not rigorous enough to guide patients to make accurate judgments. TikTok was not an appropriate source of knowledge to educate patients due to the low quality and reliability of the information.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE Cannabidiol (CBD) oil has been used for the treatment of refractory epilepsy for a long time. In this study, we aimed to investigate the quality and reliability of YouTube videos pertaining to the use of CBD oil in the treatment of epilepsy. METHODS A total of 100 videos were reviewed. Evaluation of the videos were performed by two experienced neurologists at the same time, but in different settings in order to prevent bias. Videos' image type, video content, video length, upload date, daily view count, comment and like counts, qualification of uploaders, DISCERN, and GQS scores were recorded. RESULTS The videos were found to be uploaded by physicians (46 %), health channels (33 %), TV channels (7 %), patients (2 %), and other persons (12 %). The mean DISCERN score was found as 3.71 ± 1.17 and the mean GQS score was found as 3.21 ± 1.05 in all videos. According to the DISCERN scale, the videos uploaded by doctors were scored as 3.82 ± 1.02 and the videos uploaded by non-doctors as 3.07 ± 1.12 (p < 0.001). According to the GQS scale, the videos uploaded by doctors were scored as 3.51 ± 1.02 and the videos uploaded by non-doctors as 3.01 ± 1.17 (p < 0.001). CONCLUSION Thirty-two (32%) videos were poor, 43 (43%) videos were moderate, and only 25 (25%) videos were good in terms of quality and reliability. YouTube videos related to health issues need to be audited strictly before they can become publicly accessible.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Foot ulcers and amputations are common conditions in people with diabetes and can considerably impact quality of life, necessitate a lengthy hospital stay and increase mortality. Preventative foot care and examination can prevent or delay ulceration, and individuals may seek information from publicly available social media resources such as YouTube. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to evaluate the educational quality and reliability of publicly available YouTube videos on diabetes foot examinations. METHOD A YouTube search for "diabetic foot examination" was conducted, and the first 100 relevant English videos focused on examining the diabetic foot were included for evaluation. The Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) standards were used to measure video reliability. The Global Quality Score (GQS) and the Diabetes UK Annual Foot Check (DUK-C) checklist were used to assess video educational quality. Differences in JAMA, GQS, and DUK-C ratings were analysed after videos were sorted by topic and source. RESULTS The mean number of views per video was 101,311.9 ± 348,383.6, and the mean video power index was 41.6 ± 170.0. The most common upload source was from physicians (28%) and, the most popular material category was diabetes foot examination (58 videos). In terms of video reliability, 36% of videos scored 0. According to the GQS standards, only 5% of the videos are of excellent quality, while 34% are of poor quality, with 24 videos scoring between 0 and 1 on the DUK-C scale. CONCLUSION While foot care examination videos have a substantial audience, the majority are considered low in quality and reliability. Videos on comprehensive diabetic foot examination should be accessed on reputable sources that guarantee standardisations of video quality and take into account the simplification of information transmission in order to reach lay audiences.

Abstract
Background. There are limited data on the quality and content of videos discussing total ankle arthroplasty (TAA) on the YouTube video platform. Methods. The first 60 unique YouTube videos resulting from the keyword query "ankle arthroplasty" and "ankle replacement" were analyzed for comprehensiveness and quality. Content was assessed using the Journal of American Medical Association (JAMA) benchmark criteria, DISCERN, Global Quality Scale (GQS), and an arthroplasty-specific score. Results. Videos demonstrated low mean DISCERN (49.2/80), GQS (3.2/5), and arthroplasty-specific scores (4.3/12) with substantial variability between videos. Most of the content was produced by nonacademic physicians (46.7%) and academic sources (21.7%). Academic videos saw significantly higher mean JAMA scores (P = .013) but were otherwise comparable to non-academic physicians. Commercial content demonstrated significantly low-quality scores compared to academic (P = .012) and physician (P = .008) sources despite the highest mean viewership. Conclusions. Information on TAA on the YouTube platform is highly variable based on video source, with generally poor quality and content.Level of Evidence: Level V, systemic review of non-peer reviewed resources.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION Extensive literature has described surgical outcomes for pre-arthritic hip pain, but the proportion of patients who progress to surgery remains unknown. OBJECTIVE To determine the proportion of patients who present to a tertiary referral center for pre-arthritic hip pain and progress to surgery at minimum one year follow-up. DESIGN Retrospective cohort study. SETTING Single tertiary care academic medical center. PATIENTS Thirteen to 40-year-olds who presented for initial evaluation to a conservative or surgical orthopedic specialist and were diagnosed with pre-arthritic hip pain (n=713 patients, 830 hips). INTERVENTION Not applicable. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES The primary outcome was the rate of progression to surgery at minimum one year follow-up for the entire cohort. Predictors of progression to surgery were determined for the entire cohort and for radiographically defined subgroups using multiple logistic regression. Candidate predictors included baseline demographic, radiographic, clinical diagnosis, and patient-reported outcome measures. RESULTS In a cohort with mean age 25.4 (SD 8.1) years, 72.7% female, and mean follow-up 2.6 (range 1.0-4.8) years, 429/830 hips (51.7% [95% CI 48.2%-55.1%]) progressed to surgery. Predictors of surgical progression in the entire cohort included younger age (OR 0.95/year [95% CI 0.93-0.98]), pain duration longer than six months (OR 1.87-2.03, p≤.027), worse physical function (OR 0.96/Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) point [0.92-0.99]), and a clinical diagnosis of femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) (OR 3.47 [2.05-5.89]), acetabular dysplasia (OR 2.75 [1.73-4.35]), and/or labral tear (OR 10.71 [6.98-16.47]). Radiographic dysplasia (lateral center edge angle<200 ) increased the likelihood of surgery in all subgroups (OR 2.05-8.47, p≤.008). Increasing maximum α angle increased the likelihood of surgery in patients with severe cam FAI (α>630 ) (OR 1.03/degree [1.00-1.06]). CONCLUSION Almost half of patients with pre-arthritic hip pain did not progress to surgery at minimum one year follow-up. A trial of conservative management is likely worthwhile in most patients. YouTube videos as a source of information concerning Behçet's disease: a reliability and quality analysis. Rheumatol Int 2021; 41:2117-2123. Abstract
In this study, we aimed to investigate the reliability and quality of YouTube videos concerning Behçet disease, for the first time in the literature. The most viewed 50 YouTube videos about Behçet disease were included. Study data used in the analysis included video length, image type, video content, uploaders, time since the date of upload, the number of total views, daily views, and the numbers of like, dislike and comments. The Video Power Index was used to determine popularity of the videos. Reliability and quality of the videos were evaluated using DISCERN and Global Quality Scale (GQS) instruments. The examined YouTube videos were divided into two groups as uploaded by professionals (physicians, health and hospital channels, institutions and societies) and non-professionals (patients, social organizations, others). Twenty-three (46%) videos were uploaded by professionals. The mean DISCERN score was found as 3.98 ± 0.77 in the videos uploaded by healthcare professionals and 2.83 ± 0.64 in those uploaded by non-professionals (p < 0.01). The mean GQS score was found as 4.09 ± 0.72 in the videos uploaded by healthcare professionals and 3.41 ± 0.69 in those uploaded by non-professionals (p < 0.01). 46% of the videos were of low-to-moderate reliability and 56% of low-to-moderate quality. Nearly half of the YouTube videos concerning Behçet disease were uploaded by non-physician sources with poor reliability and quality. Physicians should be encouraged to upload more professional videos to help and guide patients appropriately. YouTube videos should be subjected to an objective evaluation for content quality before they can be published.
