Abstract
Although dihydromyricetin exhibits strong potential for pharmaceutical applications, its limited aqueous solubility, permeability and stability restrict its use. In this work, we have synthesized a series of glucosides and acyl-glucosides of dihydromyricetin that could increase the bioavailability of this molecule. First, the R134A variant of sucrose phosphorylase from Thermoanaerobacterium thermosaccharolyticum catalyzed the formation of three monoglucosides, and the major one was identified as dihydromyricetin 4'-O-α-D-glucopyranoside (>75% conversion yield). The molecular features that define this specificity for the 4'-OH phenolic group were investigated through induced-fit docking analysis of each potential derivative. Furthermore, the acylation of the 4'-monoglucoside with fatty acid vinyl esters (C8, C12, and C16) was performed with high efficiency using the lipase from Thermomyces lanuginosus. Three novel acyl derivatives of dihydromyricetin were characterized. Furthermore, the water solubility and antioxidant activity (ABTS, DPPH) of the synthesized compounds were measured, concluding that the location of the glucosyl moiety may affect their physicochemical properties and, as a result, their bioactivity.

Abstract
Parkinson's disease (PD), as a refractory neurological disorder with complex etiology, currently lacks effective therapeutic agents. Natural products (NPs), derived from plants, animals, or microbes, have shown promising effects in PD models through their antioxidative and anti-inflammatory properties, as well as the enhancement of mitochondrial homeostasis and autophagy. The misfolding and deposition of α-Synuclein (α-Syn), due to abnormal overproduction and impaired clearance, being central to the death of dopamine (DA) neurons. Thus, inhibiting α-Syn misfolding and aggregation has become a critical focus in PD discovery. This review highlights NPs that can reduce α-Syn aggregation by preventing its overproduction and misfolding, emphasizing their potential as novel drugs or adjunctive therapies for PD treatment, thereby providing further insights for clinical translation.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The hawthorn fruit is an interesting medicinal plant that has several biological features, especially related to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and immune-modulating actions, and boosting general health. In this study, we aimed to clarify the immunological effects of hawthorn vinegar on immunity and general health. We also focused on three different production processes to improve the antioxidant activity of hawthorn vinegar (2) Methods: In the study, besides the traditional production of hawthorn vinegar (N), thermal pasteurization (P) and ultrasound (U) techniques were applied to vinegars. A total of 56 female adult Wistar albino rats were randomly allocated into seven groups; Control, N0.5 (regular vinegar; 0.5 mL/kgbw), N1 (regular vinegar; 1 mL/kgbw), P0.5 (pasteurized vinegar; 0.5 mL/kgbw), P1 (pasteurized vinegar; 1 mL/kgbw), U0.5 (ultrasound treated vinegar; 0.5 mL/kgbw), and U1 (ultrasound treated vinegar; 1 mL/kgbw). Vinegars were administered by oral gavage daily. The average weight gains, body mass index, and blood hematological parameters were measured, and the Neutrophil Lymphocyte ratio was calculated. The plasma IL-1β and TNF-α values, and MDA, IL-1β and TNF-α values of intestinal tissue, were determined. Also, the streptavidin-biotin-peroxidase complex method was applied to determine the expressions of TNF-α and IL-1β in duodenum. (3) Results: There was a decreasing tendency in the average weight gains in all vinegar groups compared to the control group. In addition, there was an increase in NL ratio in all vinegar groups, although not significant. There were no statistical differences among all vinegar groups, although decreases were observed in plasma IL-1β. Also, the plasma TNF-α values showed slight increases in high-dose-of-vinegar groups (N1, P1 and U1), although not significant. In addition, the intestinal tissue IL-1β value tended to increase in groups N0.5, N1 and P0.5, while it tended to decrease in P1, U0.5 and U1. On the other hand, there were slight increases in the TNF-α values of intestinal tissue in all groups compared to control, although these were not significant. Furthermore, the intensive expressions of TNF-α and IL-1β were determined in groups U0.5 and U1. (4) Conclusions: The results suggest that either high doses or ultrasound applications of hawthorn vinegar have positive effects on intestinal health, boosting immunity and general health.

Abstract
In the field of thermal degradation of flavonoids, current studies mainly focused on flavonols. However, the thermal degradation of dihydroflavonols in aqueous solution has received limited attention compared to flavonols. The single C2-C3 bonds of dihydroflavonols, which differs from the C2-C3 double bond in flavonols, may cause different degradation mechanisms. Dihydromyricetin (DMY) is a typical dihydroflavonol with six hydroxyl groups, and possesses various health effects. We explored the thermal degradation of DMY in neutral aqueous solution (pH 7) at 100 ℃. Ultra-performance liquid chromatography combined with photodiode array and electrospray ionization quadrupole-time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometric detection (UPLC-PDA-ESI-QTOF-MS/MS) provided suitable platform for exploring DMY degradation pathways, and negative ion mode was applied. Thermal treatment led to a decline in DMY level with time, accompanied by the appearance of various degradation products of DMY. Degradation mechanisms of DMY included isomerization, oxidation, hydroxylation, dimerization and ring cleavage. The pyrogallol-type ring B of DMY might be initially oxidized into ortho-quinone, which could further attack another DMY to form dimers. In addition, hydroxylation is likely to occur at C-2, C-3 of DMY or DMY dimers, which then further yields ring-cleavage products via breakage of the O1-C2 bond, C2-C3 bond, or C3-C4 bond. The 3-hydroxy-5-(3,3,5,7-tetrahydroxy-4-oxochroman-2-yl) cyclohexa-3,5-diene-1, 2-dione (m/z 333.0244) and unknown compound m/z 435.0925 were annotated as key intermediates in DMY degradation. Four phenolic acids, including 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid (m/z 169.0136, RT 1.4 min), 2,4,6-trihydroxyphenylglyoxylic acid (m/z 197.0084, RT 1.7 min), 2-oxo-2-(2,4,6-trihydroxyphenyl) acetaldehyde (m/z 181.0132, RT 2.4 min), and 2,4,6-trihydroxybenzoic acid (m/z 169.0139, RT 2.5 min) were identified as the major end products of DMY degradation. In addition, 5-((3,5dihydroxyphenoxy) methyl)-3-hydroxycyclohexa-3,5-diene-1,2-dione (m/z 261.0399, RT 11.7 min) and unidentified compound with m/z 329.0507 (RT 1.0 min) were also suggested to be end products of DMY degradation. These results provide novel insights on DMY stability and degradation products. Moreover, the heat treatment of DMY aqueous solution was found to gradually reduce the antioxidant activities of DMY, and even destroy the beneficial effect of DMY on the gut microbiota composition.

Abstract
Doxorubicin (DOX) is commonly used for the treatment of various types of cancer, however can cause serious side effects, including cardiotoxicity. The mechanisms involved in DOX-induced cardiac damage are complex and not yet fully understood. One mechanism is the disruption of cardiac metabolism, which can impair cardiac function. The mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) is a key regulator of cardiac energy metabolism, and dysregulation of mTOR signaling has been implicated in DOX-induced cardiac dysfunction. Natural compounds (NCs) have been shown to improve cardiac function in vivo and in vitro models of DOX-induced cardiotoxicity. This review article explores the protective effects of NCs against DOX-induced cardiac injury, with a focus on their regulation of mTOR signaling pathways. Generally, the modulation of mTOR signaling by NCs represents a promising strategy for decreasing the cardiotoxic effects of DOX.

Abstract
Taxifolin (TFL) is a small drug molecule with a broad therapeutic potential limited by its poor aqueous solubility and excessive metabolism. Despite comprehensive research, some aspects of the TFL pharmacokinetics, e.g., dose proportionality and possible cumulative effect, remain unexplored. In the current study, we have tried to fill this gap. Our results revealed that the TFL pharmacokinetics in rats had nonlinear character in the dose range of 10-50 mg/kg after its single oral administration (AUC). For Cmax, the data are ambiguous: linearity was confirmed via the equivalence criterion and was disproved using the power model approach. Also, the cumulative drug effect was observed on the 4th day after its multiple-dose oral administration (25 mg/kg; compared to the 1st day). Interestingly, biologically active TFL metabolites such as aromadendrin and luteolin were putatively found in plasma samples, although they were previously detected only in feces. In addition, oil-in-water and water-in-oil microemulsions were fabricated to design novel drug delivery systems. These carrier dosage forms did not improve the TFL bioavailability but significantly affected its metabolism. To support pharmacokinetic studies, the bioanalytical liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method was developed and validated in the concentration range of 1-1000 ng/mL using candesartan as an internal standard. Liquid-liquid extraction with methyl tert-butyl ether was used to isolate the analytes from plasma followed by evaporation and reconstitution of the residues in acetonitrile. Thus, the present findings broaden our understanding of the TFL behavior in vivo and provide novel ideas and reference directions for its continued use in medical practice.

Abstract
Diabetes, being the most widespread illness, poses a serious threat to global public health. It seems that inflammation plays a critical role in the pathophysiology of diabetes. This review aims to demonstrate a probable link between type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and chronic inflammation during its development. Additionally, the current review examined the bioactivity of natural flavones and the possible molecular mechanisms by which they influence diabetes and inflammation. While natural flavones possess remarkable anti-diabetic and anti-inflammatory bioactivities, their therapeutic use is limited by the low oral bioavailability. Several factors contribute to the low bioavailability, including poor water solubility, food interaction, and unsatisfied metabolic behaviors, while the diseases (diabetes, inflammation, etc.) causing even less bioavailability. Throughout the years, different strategies have been developed to boost flavones' bioavailability, including structural alteration, biological transformation, and innovative drug delivery system design. This review addresses current advancements in improving the bioavailability of flavonoids in general, and flavones in particular. Clinical trials were also analyzed to provide insight into the potential application of flavonoids in diabetes and inflammatory therapies.

Abstract
Vinegar is used as fermented condiment and functional food worldwide. Vinegar contains many nutrients and bioactive components, which exhibits health benefits. In this study, the potential effects of Shanxi aged vinegar (SAV) on gut microbiome and metabolome were explored in normal mice. The levels of inflammatory factors were significantly decreased in SAV-treated mice. Immunoglobulin, NK cells and CD20 expression were significantly increased after SAV administration. In addition, SAV intake altered gut microbiota structure by up-regulating Verrucomicrobia, Akkermansia, Hungatella and Alistipes, and down-regulating Firmicutes, Lachnospiraceae_NK4A136_group and Oscillibacter. The differential metabolites were mainly included amino acids, carbohydrates and bile acids. Furthermore, after SAV intake, Verrucomicrobia, and Akkermansia closely impacted the related gut metabolites. These alterations of gut microbiota-related metabolism further modulated some immunoregulatory and inflammatory factors, and confer potential health benefits. Our results imply that vinegar consumption has beneficial effects on regulating gut microbiome and metabolome.

Abstract
Polyhydroxy flavonols readily degraded during thermal processing. In this study, the UPLC-Q-tof-MS/MS was applied to explore the stability of dietary polyhydroxy flavonols, myricetin, kaempferol, galangin, fisetin, myricitrin, quercitrin and rutin, in boiling water. The decomposition of flavonols was mainly caused by the heterocyclic ring C opening to form simpler aromatic compounds. The degradation products mainly included 1,3,5-benzenetriol, 3,4,5-trihydroxybenzoic acid, 2,4,6-trihydroxybenzoic acid and 2,4,6-trihydroxybenzaldehyde, etc. Compared with myricetin with a pyrogallol-type structure on the ring B, the glycoside in myricitrin slightly affects the stability. However, the glycosides in rutin and quercitrin dramatically improved the stability in water. During the boiling process, flavonols underwent a series of chemical reactions, such as hydroxylation, dehydroxylation, deglycosidation, deprotonation, and C-ring cleavage.

Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the third leading cause of cancer death worldwide. Ginsenoside Rk3, an important and rare saponin in heat-treated ginseng, is generated from Rg1 and has a smaller molecular weight. However, the anti-HCC efficacy and mechanisms of ginsenoside Rk3 have not yet been characterized. Here, we investigated the mechanism by which ginsenoside Rk3, a tetracyclic triterpenoid rare ginsenoside, inhibits the growth of HCC. We first explored the possible potential targets of Rk3 through network pharmacology. Both in vitro (HepG2 and HCC-LM3 cells) and in vivo (primary liver cancer mice and HCC-LM3 subcutaneous tumor-bearing mice) studies revealed that Rk3 significantly inhibits the proliferation of HCC. Meanwhile, Rk3 blocked the cell cycle in HCC at the G1 phase and induced autophagy and apoptosis in HCC. Further proteomics and siRNA experiments showed that Rk3 regulates the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K)/protein kinase B (AKT) pathway to inhibit HCC growth, which was validated by molecular docking and surface plasmon resonance. In conclusion, we report the discovery that ginsenoside Rk3 binds to PI3K/AKT and promotes autophagy and apoptosis in HCC. Our data strongly support the translation of ginsenoside Rk3 into novel PI3K/AKT-targeting therapeutics for HCC treatment with low toxic side effects.

Abstract
Fusobacterium nucleatum is a lesion-associated obligate anaerobic pathogen of destructive periodontal disease; it is also implicated in the progression and severity of colorectal cancer. Four genes (FN0625, FN1055, FN1220, and FN1419) of F. nucleatum are involved in producing hydrogen sulfide (H2S), which plays an essential role against oxidative stress. The molecular functions of Fn1419 are known, but their mechanisms remain unclear. We determined the crystal structure of Fn1419 at 2.5 Å, showing the unique conformation of the PLP-binding site when compared with L-methionine γ-lyase (MGL) proteins. Inhibitor screening for Fn1419 with L-cysteine showed that two natural compounds, gallic acid and dihydromyricetin, selectively inhibit the H2S production of Fn1419. The chemicals of gallic acid, dihydromyricetin, and its analogs containing trihydroxybenzene, were potentially responsible for the enzyme-inhibiting activity on Fn1419. Molecular docking and mutational analyses suggested that Gly112, Pro159, Val337, and Arg373 are involved in gallic acid binding and positioned close to the substrate and pyridoxal-5'-phosphate-binding site. Gallic acid has little effect on the other H2S-producing enzymes (Fn1220 and Fn1055). Overall, we proposed a molecular mechanism underlying the action of Fn1419 from F. nucleatum and found a new lead compound for inhibitor development.

Abstract
Neohesperidin (hesperetin 7-O-neohesperidoside), a well-known flavanone glycoside widely found in citrus fruits, exhibits a variety of biological activities, with potential applications ranging from food ingredients to therapeutics. The purpose of this manuscript is to provide a comprehensive overview of the chemical, biosynthesis, and pharmacokinetics profiles of neohesperidin, as well as the therapeutic effects and mechanisms of neohesperidin against potential diseases. This literature review covers a wide range of pharmacological responses elicited by Neohesperidin, including neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, and anticancer activities, with a focus on the mechanisms of those pharmacological responses. Additionally, the mechanistic pathways underlying the compound's osteoporosis, antiulcer, cardioprotective, and hepatoprotective effects have been outlined. This review includes detailed illustrations of the biosynthesis, biopharmacokinetics, toxicology, and controlled release of neohesperidine. Neohesperidin demonstrated a broad range of therapeutic and biological activities in the treatment of a variety of complex disorders, including neurodegenerative, hepato-cardiac, cancer, diabetes, obesity, infectious, allergic, and inflammatory diseases. Neohesperidin is a promising therapeutic candidate for the management of various etiologically complex diseases. However, further in vivo and in vitro studies on mechanistic potential are required before clinical trials to confirm the safety, bioavailability, and toxicity profiles of neohesperidin.

Abstract
Natural products possess pleiotropic cardiovascular protective effects owing to their anti-oxidation, anti-inflammation and anti-thrombotic properties. Kaempferol, (3,5,7-trihydroxy-2-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one), is a kind of naturally occurring flavonoid existing in many common fruits and vegetables (e.g., onions, broccoli, strawberries and grapes) and particularly in traditional Chinese medicine as exemplified by Ginkgo biloba. Epidemiological, preclinical and clinical studies have revealed an inverse association between the consumption of kaempferol-containing foods and medicines and the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases. Numerous translational studies in experimental animal models and cultured cells have demonstrated a wide range of pharmacological activities of kaempferol. In this article, we reviewed the antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cardio-protective activities of kaempferol and elucidated the potential molecular basis of the therapeutic capacity of kaempferol by focusing on its anti-atherosclerotic effects. Overall, the review presents the health benefits of kaempferol-containing plants and medicines and reflects on the potential of kaempferol as a possible drug candidate to prevent and treat atherosclerosis, the underlying pathology of most cardiovascular diseases.

Abstract
As a group of heterodimeric and transmembrane glycoproteins, integrin receptors are widely expressed in various cell types overall the body. During cardiovascular dysfunction, integrin receptors apply inhibitory effects on the antioxidative pathways, including nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2)-Kelch like ECH Associated Protein 1 (Keap1)/antioxidant response element (ARE) and interconnected mediators. As such, dysregulation in integrin signaling pathways influences several aspects of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) such as heart failure, arrhythmia, angina, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, platelet aggregation and coagulation. So, modulation of integrin pathway could trigger the downstream antioxidant pathways toward cardioprotection. Regarding the involvement of multiple aforementioned mediators in the pathogenesis of CVDs, as well as the side effects of conventional drugs, seeking for novel alternative drugs is of great importance. Accordingly, the plant kingdom could pave the road in the treatment of CVDs. Of natural entities, polyphenols are multi-target and accessible phytochemicals with promising potency and low levels of toxicity. The present study aims at providing the cardioprotective roles of integrin receptors and downstream antioxidant pathways in heart failure, arrhythmia, angina, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, platelet aggregation and coagulation. The potential role of polyphenols has been also revealed in targeting the aforementioned dysregulated signaling mediators in those CVDs.

Abstract
The increasing demand for nutraceuticals in the circular economy era has driven the research toward studying bioactive compounds from renewable underexploited resources. In this regard, the exploration of brown algae has shown significant growth and maintains a great promise for the future. One possible explanation could be that brown algae are rich sources of nutritional compounds (polyunsaturated fatty acids, fiber, proteins, minerals, and vitamins) and unique metabolic compounds (phlorotannins, fucoxanthin, fucoidan) with promising biological activities that make them good candidates for nutraceutical applications with increased value-added. In this review, a deep description of bioactive compounds from brown algae is presented. In addition, recent advances in biological activities ascribed to these compounds through in vitro and in vivo assays are pointed out. Delivery strategies to overcome some drawbacks related to the direct application of algae-derived compounds (low solubility, thermal instability, bioavailability, unpleasant organoleptic properties) are also reviewed. Finally, current commercial and legal statuses of ingredients from brown algae are presented, considering future therapeutical and market perspectives as nutraceuticals.

Abstract
Resveratrol (RSV) is a natural polyphenolic compound detected in grapes, berries, and red wine. The anticancer activities of RSV have been observed in vivo and in vitro studies. However, the pharmacology mechanism of RSV is confusing due to its low bioavailability. According to studies of the metabolic characteristics of RSV, the gut intestine is a crucial site of its health benefits. Dietary RSV exhibits a profound effect on the gut microbiota structure and metabolic function. In addition, emerging evidence demonstrates a protective effect of RSV metabolites against carcinogenesis. Therefore, to better understand the anticancer mechanisms of dietary RSV, it is vital to evaluate the role of RSV-microbiota-host interactions in cancer therapy. In this review, we summarized significant findings on the anticancer activities of RSV based on epidemiological, experimental and clinical studies involved in investigating the metabolic characteristics and the traditional anticancer mechanisms of RSV. Special attention is given to the putative mechanisms involving microbiota-host interactions, such as the modulation of gut microecology and the anticancer effects of RSV metabolites. The changes in microbiota-host interactions after RSV supplementation play vital roles in cancer prevention and thus offering a new perspective on nutritional interventions to treat cancer.

Abstract
Emulsifying activity of ASP2 was obviously improved by graftingwith WPI. ASP2 self-crosslinking could be excuted by both maillard reaction and genipin crosslinking reaction. WPI linked with carbonyl group contributed more efficiency to emulsifying activity of PPC than linked with amino group of ASP2. Calcium bridge effect could not be efficiently inhibited by grafting ASP2 with WPI.
This study aim to investigate the effect of alkaline soluble polysaccharide from sugar beet pulp (ASP2) grafted with whey protein isolate (WPI) by two linking models (grafting on amino group or carbonyl group) on its emulsifying properties. Results demonstrated that the d4,3 value of WPI, M−AW, M−AA, G-AW and G-AA stabilized emulsions was 0.18 μm, 0.28 μm, 0.72 μm, 0.56 μm and 0.83 μm, respectively, suggesting the higher emulsifying activity of the products prepared by Maillard reaction compared with the products obtained from genipin crosslinking reaction. After storage, the d4,3 increment was 1.05 μm, 0.21 μm, 0.31 μm, 0.2 μm and 0.15 μm for WPI, M−AW, M−AA, G-AW and G-AA stabilized emulsions, respectively, indicating that the new generated polymers held stronger emulsifying stability compared with WPI. However, the aggregates emerged in high calcium emulsions system indicated that grafting with WPI could not efficiently reduce the sensitivity of ASP2 to calcium.

Abstract
Recent studies have explored the field of extracellular vesicles (EVs), driving an increasing interest in their application to human health. EVs have unique physicochemical traits to participate in intercellular communication, thus fostering the idea of using EVs to yield synergistic, preventive, and therapeutic effects. Many reports have shown that EVs contain natural bioactive compounds, such as lipids, proteins, RNA, and other active components that regulate biological processes, thereby contributing to human health. Therefore, in this review, we comprehensively elucidate various facets of the relationship between EVs and bioactive compounds that modulate EVs contents, including RNAs and proteins, discussing different forms of biological regulation. The use of EVs for cargo-loading bioactive compounds to exert biological functions and methods to load bioactive compounds into EVs are also discussed. This review highlighted the effect of EV-delivered bioactive compounds on several therapeutic mechanisms and applications, providing new insight into nutrition and pharmacology.

Abstract
The present study aims to design a self-microemulsion delivery system (d-α-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate - quillaja saponin) to enhance the absorptivity of dihydromyricetin (DMY-S), and to investigate its dietary intervention effect on high-fat-diet (HFD) fed mice. We find DMY-S can inhibit the increase of body weight and fat mass, preventing non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Compared to the model group, the abundance of mice intestinal flora is mainly changed in certain bacterial genera of Firmicutes and Bacteroides, including norank_f_Muribaculaceae and Blautia. The result of metabolism analysis indicated that the expression levels of cincassiol B, creatine, pantothenic acid and aminobutyric acid in the liver tissues of mice treated with DMY-S showed a down-regulation. The DMY-S prevented hyperlipidemia in HFD mice mainly by affecting different pathways including glycerophospholipid metabolism, sphingolipid metabolism and pantothenate and CoA biosynthesis.

Abstract
Objective: This study focuses on whether vine tea contains potentially toxic components that trigger hepatotoxicity as a mechanism of action, which further provides some reference for the consumption and guides future product development of vine tea. Methods: The chemical components of vine tea were collected from the reported literature and the toxicological information matched with the CTD database was collected, and the dataset of potential toxic components was established. The toxic components were submitted to the PharmMapper server to obtain potential targets. At the same time, the relevant targets were searched in the CTD database and GeneCards database with keywords such as “Hepatic Toxicity,” “Liver Damage,” and “Drug-induced liver injury.” After intersection, the potential hepatotoxic targets of vine tea were obtained. The protein interactions of potential hepatotoxic targets of vine tea were analyzed by the STRING database. Protein–protein interaction (PPI) networks were constructed by Cytoscape3.6.1 software. The GO molecular function and KEGG pathway of hepatotoxic targets were enriched by the R package to screen the key targets. The role of the components and key targets was analyzed by the LEDOCK program. The data from GEO database were mined for the functional correlation characterized by cell transcriptional expression caused by vine tea as a disturbance factor. Results: This study has searched 34 potential toxic components and 57 potential hepatotoxic targets of vine tea, and the result showed that these targets were mainly involved in oxidative stress, cell metabolism, and apoptosis to affect the liver. Conclusion: Vine tea has the interrelationship of multi-components, multi-targets, and multi-pathways. At the cellular level, the toxic components of vine tea, mainly flavonoids, may promote oxidative stress, promote oxidation to produce free radicals, guide apoptosis, and affect cell metabolism and other cytotoxic mechanisms. However, this hepatotoxicity is related to the dose, duration of vine tea, and individual differences. This study revealed the potential hepatotoxic components of vine tea and provides a reference for further research and development of related functional products.
