Abstract
BACKGROUND Although current guidelines(ESPEN guideline: Clinical nutrition in surgery and other guidelines) recommend preoperative immunonutrition for cachectic gastric cancer patients, the strength of the recommendation is weak, and the level of evidence is low. The benefits of preoperative immunonutrition still remain controversial. PATIENTS AND METHODS 112 patients with gastric cancer cachexia were enrolled in the study and randomly assigned in a 1:1 ratio to receive either preoperative enteral immunonutrition support (IN, n = 56) or standard enteral nutrition support (SEN, n = 56). The primary endpoint was the incidence of infectious complications, and the secondary endpoints included the nutritional indicators, inflammatory markers, immune parameters, postoperative recovery and complications and gastrointestinal intolerance reactions. RESULTS The incidence of postoperative infectious complications(P = 0.040) and overall complications (P = 0.049)was significantly lower in the IN group compared to the SEN group. In terms of laboratory inflammatory indexes, patients in the IN group demonstrated significantly lower levels of white blood cells (WBC), C-reactive protein (CRP), and interleukin-6 (IL-6), as well as higher levels of lymphocytes (LYMPH) and immunoglobulin A (IgA), compared to patients in the SEN group, with statistically significant differences. In terms of clinical outcomes, the IN group had a shorter duration of antibiotic use (P = 0.048), shorter hospital stay (P = 0.018), and lower total hospital costs (P = 0.034) compared to the SEN group. The IN group also experienced significantly less weight loss after surgery (P = 0.043). CONCLUSION Preoperative administration of immunonutrition formula has a positive impact on the incidence of infectious complications in patients with gastric cancer cachexia after surgery. It improves patients' inflammatory and immune status, shortens hospital stays, and reduces healthcare costs. Preoperative use of immunonutrition may contribute to the improvement of prognosis in this high-risk population.

Abstract
Piezoelectric-photocatalysis is distinguished by its piezoelectricity as an external force that induces deformation within the catalyst to engender a polarized electric field compared to conventional photocatalysis. Herein, the piezoelectric photocatalyst BiOBr has been expertly synthesized via a plasma process and applied for piezoelectric-photocatalysis removal of uranium(VI) for the first time. The abundant surface oxygen vacancies (OVs) could induce a dipole moment and built-in electric field, which endows BiOBr with excellent separation and transport efficiency of photogenerated charges to actuate more charges to participate in the piezoelectric-photocatalytic reduction process. Consequently, under visible light and ultrasound (150 W and 40 kHz), the removal rate constant of OVs-BiOBr-30 (0.0306 min-1) was 2.4, 30.6, and 6 times higher than those of BiOBr (0.01273 min-1), ultrasound, or photocatalysis, respectively. The piezoelectric-photocatalytic synergy is also universal for BiOX (X = Cl, Br, or I) to accelerate the reduction rate of uranium(VI). This work highlights the role of piezoelectric-photocatalysis in the treatment of uranium-containing wastewater, which is of great significance for resource conservation and environmental remediation.

Abstract
Distribution comparison plays a central role in many machine learning tasks like data classification and generative modeling. In this study, we propose a novel metric, called Hilbert curve projection (HCP) distance, to measure the distance between two probability distributions with low complexity. In particular, we first project two high-dimensional probability distributions using Hilbert curve to obtain a coupling between them, and then calculate the transport distance between these two distributions in the original space, according to the coupling. We show that HCP distance is a proper metric and is well-defined for probability measures with bounded supports. Furthermore, we demonstrate that the modified empirical HCP distance with the Lp cost in the d-dimensional space converges to its population counterpart at a rate of no more than O(n-1/2max{d,p}). To suppress the curse-of-dimensionality, we also develop two variants of the HCP distance using (learnable) subspace projections. Experiments on both synthetic and real-world data show that our HCP distance works as an effective surrogate of the Wasserstein distance with low complexity and overcomes the drawbacks of the sliced Wasserstein distance. Abstract
BACKGROUND We aimed to construct and validate a deep learning (DL) radiomics nomogram using baseline and restage enhanced computed tomography (CT) images and clinical characteristics to predict the response of metastatic lymph nodes to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in locally advanced gastric cancer (LAGC). METHODS We prospectively enrolled 112 patients with LAGC who received NACT from January 2021 to August 2022. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 98 patients were randomized 7:3 to the training cohort (n = 68) and validation cohort (n = 30). We established and compared three radiomics signatures based on three phases of CT images before and after NACT, namely radiomics-baseline, radiomics-delta, and radiomics-restage. Then, we developed a clinical model, DL model, and a nomogram to predict the response of LAGC after NACT. We evaluated the predictive accuracy and clinical validity of each model using the receiver operating characteristic curve and decision curve analysis, respectively. RESULTS The radiomics-delta signature was the best predictor among the three radiomics signatures. So, we developed and validated a DL delta radiomics nomogram (DLDRN). In the validation cohort, the DLDRN produced an area under the receiver operating curve of 0.94 (95% confidence interval, 0.82-0.96) and demonstrated adequate differentiation of good response to NACT. Furthermore, the DLDRN significantly outperformed the clinical model and DL model (p < 0.001). The clinical utility of the DLDRN was confirmed through decision curve analysis. CONCLUSIONS In patients with LAGC, the DLDRN effectively predicted a therapeutic response in metastatic lymph nodes, which could provide valuable information for individualized treatment.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Although minimally invasive surgery (MIS) for gastric patients has gained popularity in recent decades, reports on the comparison of short and long clinical outcomes between robotic gastrectomy (RG) and laparoscopic gastrectomy (LG) for gastric cancer patients with BMI≥30 kg/m2 are still limited. METHODS A total of 226 obese gastric cancer patients who underwent either RG (n = 81) or LG (n = 145) were enrolled in this study between October 2014 and September 2022. Propensity score matching (PSM) (1:1) was performed to reduce confounding bias. Short-term and long-term outcomes were compared between the RG and LG groups. RESULTS The clinicopathological characteristics of 156 patients in the RG group (n = 79) and LG group (n = 79) were well balanced after PSM. Compared with the LG group, the RG group had a significantly shorter operation time, less estimated blood loss, more harvested lymph nodes, a faster postoperative recovery course, reduced surgical morbidity, and a shorter postoperative hospital stay. The long-term outcomes were comparable between the two groups. CONCLUSIONS RG is a safe and feasible approach for gastric cancer with a BMI≥30 kg/m2 and has better short-term clinical outcomes than LG. However, RG is similar to LG in terms of long-term prognosis.

Mapping wetlands in Northeast China by using knowledge-based algorithms and microwave (PALSAR-2, Sentinel-1), optical (Sentinel-2, Landsat), and thermal (MODIS) images. Abstract
Wetlands are rich in biodiversity, provide habitats for many wildlife species, and play a vital role in the transmission of bird-borne infectious diseases (e.g., highly pathogenic avian influenza). However, wetlands worldwide have been degraded or even disappeared due to natural and anthropogenic activities over the past two centuries. At present, major data products of wetlands have large uncertainties, low to moderate accuracies, and lack regular updates. Therefore, accurate and updated wetlands maps are needed for the sustainable management and conservation of wetlands. Here, we consider the remote sensing capability and define wetland types in terms of plant growth form (tree, shrub, grass), life cycle (perennial, annual), leaf seasonality (evergreen, deciduous), and canopy type (open, closed). We identify unique and stable features of individual wetland types and develop knowledge-based algorithms to map them in Northeast China at 10 m spatial resolution by using microwave (PALSAR-2, Sentinel-1), optical (Landsat (ETM+/OLI), Sentinel-2), and thermal (MODIS land surface temperature, LST) imagery in 2020. The resultant wetland map has a high overall accuracy of >95%. There were a total 154,254 km2 of wetlands in Northeast China in 2020, which included 27,219 km2 of seasonal open-canopy marsh, 69,158 km2 of yearlong closed-canopy marsh, and 57,878 km2 of deciduous forest swamp. Our results demonstrate the potential of knowledge-based algorithms and integrated multi-source image data for wetlands mapping and monitoring, which could provide improved data for the planning of wetland conservation and restoration.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Low-grade appendiceal mucinous neoplasms (LAMN) are very rare, accounting for approximately 0.2%-0.5% of gastrointestinal tumors. We conducted a multicenter retrospective study to explore the impact of different surgical procedures combined with HIPEC on the short-term outcomes and long-term survival of patients. METHODS We retrospectively analyzed the clinicopathological data of 91 LAMN perforation patients from 9 teaching hospitals over a 10-year period, and divided them into HIPEC group and non-HIPEC group based on whether or not underwent HIPEC. RESULTS Of the 91 patients with LAMN, 52 were in the HIPEC group and 39 in the non-HIPEC group. The Kaplan-Meier method predicted that 52 patients in the HIPEC group had 5- and 10-year overall survival rates of 82.7% and 76.9%, respectively, compared with predicted survival rates of 51.3% and 46.2% for the 39 patients in the non-HIPEC group, with a statistically significant difference between the two groups (χ2 = 10.622, p = 0.001; χ2 = 10.995, p = 0.001). Compared to the 5-year and 10-year relapse-free survival rates of 75.0% and 65.4% in the HIPEC group, respectively, the 5-year and 10-year relapse-free survival rates of 48.7% and 46.2% in the non-HIPEC group were significant different between the two outcomes (χ2 = 8.063, p = 0.005; χ2 = 6.775, p = 0.009). The incidence of postoperative electrolyte disturbances and hypoalbuminemia was significantly higher in the HIPEC group than in the non-HIPEC group (p = 0.023; p = 0.044). CONCLUSIONS This study shows that surgery combined with HIPEC can significantly improve 5-year and 10-year overall survival rates and relapse-free survival rates of LAMN perforation patients, without affecting their short-term clinical outcomes.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the patient-reported outcomes and short-term clinical outcomes between robotic-assisted and laparoscopic-assisted radical gastrectomy for locally advanced gastric cancer. Methods: This single-center prospective randomized controlled trial was conducted in the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery,Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from October 2020 to August 2022. Patients with locally advanced gastric cancer who were to undergo radical gastrectomy were selected and randomly divided into two groups according to 1∶1, and received robotic surgery and laparoscopic surgery, respectively. Patient-reported outcomes and short-term clinical outcomes (including postoperative complications, surgical quality and postoperative short-term recovery) were compared between the two groups by t test, Mann-Whitney U test, repeated ANOVA, generalized estimating equation, χ2 test and Fisher's exact test. Results: A total of 237 patients were enrolled for modified intention-to-treat analysis (120 patients in the robotic group, 117 patients in the laparoscopic group). There were 180 males and 59 females, aged (63.0±10.2) years (range: 30 to 85 years). The incidence of postoperative complications was similar between the robotic group and laparoscopic group (16.7% (20/120) vs. 15.4% (18/117), χ2=0.072, P=0.788). The robotic group had higher patient-reported outcomes scores in general health status, emotional, and social domains compared to the laparoscopic group, differences in time effect, intervention effect, and interaction effect were statistically significant (general health status: χ2 value were 275.68, 3.91, 6.38, P value were <0.01, 0.048, 0.041; emotional: χ2 value were 77.79, 6.04, 6.15, P value were <0.01, 0.014, 0.046; social: χ2 value were 148.00, 7.57, 5.98, P value were <0.01, 0.006, 0.048). However, the financial burden of the robotic group was higher, the differences in time effect, intervention effect and interaction effect were statistically significant (χ2 value were 156.24, 4.08, 36.56, P value were<0.01, 0.043,<0.01). Conclusion: Compared to the laparoscopic group, the robotic group could more effectively relieve postoperative negative emotions and improve recovery of social function in patients.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Water exchange across blood-brain barrier (BBB) (WEXBBB ) is an emerging biomarker of BBB dysfunction with potential applications in many brain diseases. Several MRI methods have been proposed to measure WEXBBB , but evidence remains scarce whether different methods can produce comparable WEXBBB . PURPOSE To explore whether dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE)-MRI and vascular water exchange imaging (VEXI) could produce comparable WEXBBB in high-grade glioma (HGG) patients. STUDY TYPE Prospective cross-sectional. SUBJECTS 13 HGG patients (58.4 ± 9.4 years, 9 females, 4 WHO III and 9 WHO IV). FIELD STRENGTH/SEQUENCE A 3 T, spoiled gradient-recalled-echo DCE-MRI and VEXI containing two pulsed-gradient spin-echo blocks separated by a mixing block. ASSESSMENTS The enhanced tumor and contralateral normal-appearing white matter (cNAWM) volume-of-interests (VOIs) were drew by two neuroradiologists. And whole-brain NAWM and normal-appearing gray matter (NAGM) without tumor-affected regions were segmented by automated segmentation algorithm in FSL. STATISTICAL TESTS Student's t-test was used to evaluate parameters difference between cNAWM and tumor, NAGM and NAWM, respectively. The correlation between vascular water efflux rate constant (kbo ) from DCE-MRI and apparent exchange rate across BBB (AXRBBB ) from VEXI was evaluated by Pearson correlation. P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. RESULTS Compared with cNAWM, both kbo and AXRBBB were significantly reduced in tumor (kbo = 3.50 ± 1.18 sec-1 vs. 1.03 ± 0.75 sec-1 ; AXRBBB = 3.54 ± 1.11 sec-1 vs. 1.94 ± 1.04 sec-1 ). Both kbo and AXRBBB showed significantly higher values in NAWM than NAGM (kbo = 3.50 ± 0.59 sec-1 vs. 2.10 ± 0.56 sec-1 ; AXRBBB = 3.35 ± 0.77 sec-1 vs. 2.07 ± 0.52 sec-1 ). The VOI-averaged kbo and AXRBBB were also linearly correlated in tumor, NAWM, and NAGM (r = 0.59). DATA CONCLUSION DCE-MRI and VEXI showed comparable and correlated WEXBBB in HGG patients, suggesting that the consistence and reliability of these two MRI methods in measuring WEXBBB . Abstract
Proteins are considered major effectors of sperm function. However, the proteins expressed in pigeon sperm have not been explored. Here, we collected semen from meat and racing pigeons using the electroejaculation method and identified proteins in pigeon sperm using the proteomics approach. A total of 1,641 proteins were identified in the sperm of domesticated pigeons. Of which, 1,541 proteins were reliably quantified, and gene ontology (GO) and associated bioinformatics analyses indicated that annotated proteins were linked to the oxidation-reduction process, integral component membrane, and protein binding, etc. Among quantified proteins, 1,515 and 1,507 proteins were respectively presented in White King pigeons and racing pigeons, and 1,481 proteins were shared between these 2 types of pigeons, including axonemal dynein, solute carrier, cilia- and flagella-associated protein, outer dense fiber protein, etc. Proteins in our constructed protein-protein interaction (PPI) network are involved in oxidative phosphorylation, sperm axoneme assembly, cilium-dependent cell motility, axonemal dynein complex assembly, flagellated sperm motility, etc. In conclusion, this study characterized the sperm proteome of pigeons and provided a foundation for the subsequent research screening markers for fertility evaluation of pigeons.

INTRODUCTION Gastric cancer (GC) diagnosed in the elderly population has become a serious public health problem worldwide. Given the combined effects of frailty and the consequences of cancer treatment, older individuals with GC are more likely than young patients to suffer from postoperative complications and poor clinical outcomes. Nutrition, functional capacity and psychological state-based multimodal prehabilitation, which is dominated by Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) pathway management, has been shown to reduce postoperative complications, promote functional recovery and decrease hospitalisation time in certain malignancies. However, no previous studies have investigated the clinical application of multimodal prehabilitation in frail older patients with GC. METHODS AND ANALYSIS The study is a prospective, multicentre randomised controlled trial in which a total of 368 participants who meet the inclusion criteria will be randomised into either a prehabilitation group or an ERAS group. The prehabilitation group will receive multimodal prehabilitation combined with ERAS at least 2 weeks before the gastrectomy is performed, including physical and respiratory training, nutritional support, and therapy and psychosocial treatment. The ERAS group patients will be treated according to the ERAS pathway. All interventions will be supervised by family members. The primary outcome measures are the incidence and severity of postoperative complications. Secondary outcomes include survival, functional capacity and other short-term postoperative outcomes. Overall, the multimodal prehabilitation protocol may improve functional capacity, reduce the surgical stress response and concomitant systemic inflammation, and potentially modulate the tumour microenvironment to improve short-term and long-term clinical outcomes and patients' quality of life. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION All procedures and participating centres of this study were approved by their respective ethics committees (QYFYKYLL 916111920). The final study results will be published separately in peer-reviewed journals. TRIAL REGISTRATION NUMBER NCT05352802.

Abstract
Lane detection is a vital component of intelligent driving systems, offering indispensable functionality to keep the vehicle within its designated lane, thereby reducing the risk of lane departure. However, the complexity of the traffic environment, coupled with the rapid movement of vehicles, creates many challenges for detection tasks. Current lane detection methods suffer from issues such as low feature extraction capability, poor real-time detection, and inadequate robustness. Addressing these issues, this paper proposes a lane detection algorithm that combines an online re-parameterization ResNet with a hybrid attention mechanism. Firstly, we replaced standard convolution with online re-parameterization convolution, simplifying the convolutional operations during the inference phase and subsequently reducing the detection time. In an effort to enhance the performance of the model, a hybrid attention module is incorporated to enhance the ability to focus on elongated targets. Finally, a row anchor lane detection method is introduced to analyze the existence and location of lane lines row by row in the image and output the predicted lane positions. The experimental outcomes illustrate that the model achieves F1 scores of 96.84% and 75.60% on the publicly available TuSimple and CULane lane datasets, respectively. Moreover, the inference speed reaches a notable 304 frames per second (FPS). The overall performance outperforms other detection models and fulfills the requirements of real-time responsiveness and robustness for lane detection tasks.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Some studies have demonstrated the short-term recovery course for patients who underwent laparoscopic gastrectomy according to preoperative computed tomography angiography (CTA) assessment. However, reports of the long-term oncological outcomes are still limited. METHODS The data of 988 consecutive patients who underwent laparoscopic or robotic radical gastrectomy between January 2014 and September 2018 were analyzed retrospectively at our center, and propensity score matching was used to eliminate bias. Study cohorts were divided into the CTA group (n = 498) and the non-CTA group (n = 490) depending on whether preoperative CTA was available. The primary and secondary endpoints were the 3-year overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) rates and the intraoperative course and short-term outcomes, respectively. RESULTS 431 patients were included in each group after PSM. Compared with the non-CTA group, the CTA group had more harvested lymph nodes and less operative time, blood loss, intraoperative vascular injury and total cost, especially in the subgroup analysis with BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2 patients. There was no difference in the 3 year OS and DFS between the CTA group and the non-CTA group. When further stratified by BMI < 25 or ≥ 25 kg/m2, the 3-year OS and DFS were significantly higher in the CTA group than in the non-CTA group in terms of BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2. CONCLUSIONS Laparoscopic or robotic radical gastrectomy based on preoperative perigastric artery CTA surgical decision-making has the possibility of improving short-term outcomes. However, there is no difference in the long-term prognosis, except for a subgroup of patients with BMI ≥ 25 kg/m2.

Abstract
Effective spatial separation and utilization of photogenerated charges are critical for photocatalysis process. Herein, novel Co3O4 @TiO2 @CdS@Au double-shelled nanocage (CTCA) with spatially separated redox centers was synthesized by loading Co3O4 and Au NP cocatalysts on the inner and outer surfaces of Z-scheme heterojunction (TiO2 @CdS). The reduction rate constant of U(VI) by CTCA reached 0.218 min-1 under simulated sunlight irradiation, which was 6.6, 3.2 and 36.3 times than that of monolayer CTCA (0.033 min-1), CTC (0.068 min-1) and CT (0.006 min-1). The full-spectrum light-assisted photothermal catalytic performance can enable CTCA to remove 98.8% of U(VI) and degrade nearly 90% of five organic pollutants simultaneously. Detailed characterizations and theory calculations revealed that the photogenerated holes and electrons in CTCA flow inward and outward. More importantly, Co3O4 acts as a "nano heater" to generate the photothermal effect for further enhancing the charge transfer and accelerating the surface reaction kinetics. Meanwhile, the photogenerated electrons and superoxide radicals play a dominant role in reducing the adsorbed U(VI) to insoluble (UO2)O2·2H2O(s). This work provides valuable input toward a novel double-shelled hollow nanocage reactor with excellent photothermal catalysis ability for efficient recovery U(VI) from uranium mine wastewater to address environmental contamination issues.

Abstract
Uranium-bearing wastewaters exert a great threat to the ecological environment due to its high radiotoxicity level. The designing and fabrication of novel adsorption materials can be promoted for radionuclide elimination from wastewater. In this work, results from density functional theory and Born-Oppenheimer molecular dynamics simulations are reported for the uranyl adsorption behavior on the MoS2/Mo2CTx heterostructure in the gas phase and in an aqueous environment. Uranyl ions prefer to be adsorbed at deprotonated O sites on the Mo2COH surface and S sites on the MoS2 side of the heterojunctions, resulting in the formation of bidentate configurations. In addition to coordination interaction, H-bond and van der Waals interactions can also play an important role in binding configurations. More importantly, the oxidation state U(VI) can be reduced to U(V) and then to U(IV) caused by the strong reducibility of the Mo2COH surface at room temperature, whereas the uranyl complex can move freely on the MoS2 surface. However, the coordination number of U with respect to H2O in the first hydration shell on the Mo2COH surface remains unchanged and is found to be 3, which is similar to that on the MoS2 surface. This work provides novel nanosorbents for the removal of uranyl from wastewater. The present viewpoint provides valuable mechanistic interpretations for uranyl adsorption and will give a supplement to the experimental research.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Studies on robotic total gastrectomy (RTG) are currently limited. This study aimed to compare the intraoperative performance as well as short- and long-term outcomes of RTG and laparoscopic total gastrectomy (LTG). METHODS A total of 969 patients underwent robotic (n = 161) or laparoscopic (n = 636) total gastrectomy between October 2014 and October 2021. The two groups of patients were matched 1:3 using the propensity score matching (PSM) method. The intraoperative performance as well as short- and long-term outcomes of the robotic (n = 147) and the laparoscopic (n = 371) groups were compared. RESULTS After matching, the estimated intraoperative blood loss was lower (80.51 ± 68.77 vs. 89.89 ± 66.12, p = 0.008), and the total number of lymph node dissections was higher (34.74 ± 12.44 vs. 29.83 ± 12.22, p < 0.001) in the RTG group compared with the LTG group. More lymph node dissections at the upper edge of the pancreas were performed in the RTG group than in the LTG (12.59 ± 4.18 vs. 10.33 ± 4.58, p = 0.001). Additionally, postoperative recovery indicators and laboratory data were greater in the RTG group than those in the LTG group, while postoperative complications were comparable between the two groups (19.0% vs. 18.9%, p = 0.962). For overweight or obese patients with body mass indexes (BMIs) ≥25, certain clinical outcomes of the RTG remained advantageous, and no significant differences in three-year overall survival (OS) or relapse-free survival (RFS) were observed. CONCLUSIONS Robotic total gastrectomy demonstrated better intraoperative performance, could improve the short-term clinical outcomes of patients, and was more conducive to patient recovery. However, the long-term efficacies of the two approaches were similar. Robotic surgical systems may reduce surgical stress responses in patients, allowing them to receive postoperative chemotherapy sooner.

Abstract
Osteoarthritis (OA) has become the most common degenerative disease in the world, which brings a serious economic burden to society and the country. Although epidemiological studies have shown that the occurrence of osteoarthritis is associated with obesity, sex, and trauma, the biomolecular mechanisms for the development and progression of osteoarthritis remain ambiguous. Several studies have drawn a connection between SPP1 and osteoarthritis. SPP1 was first found to be highly expressed in osteoarthritic cartilage, and later more studies have shown that SPP1 is also highly expressed in subchondral bone and synovial in OA patients. However, the biological function of SPP1 remains unclear. Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) is a novel technique that reflects gene expression at the cellular level, making it better depict the state of different cells than ordinary transcriptome data. However, most of the existing chondrocyte scRNA-seq studies focus on the occurrence and development of OA chondrocytes and lack analysis of normal chondrocyte development. Therefore, to better understand the mechanism of OA, scRNA-seq analysis of a larger cell volume containing normal and osteoarthritic cartilage is of great importance. Our study identifies a unique cluster of chondrocytes characterized by high SPP1 expression. The metabolic and biological characteristics of these clusters were further investigated. Besides, in animal models, we found that the expression of SPP1 is spatially heterogeneous in cartilage. Overall, our work provides novel insight into the potential role of SPP1 in OA, which sheds light on understanding the role of SPP1 in OA, promoting the progress of the treatment and prevention in the field of OA.

Abstract
The relatively low output performance of triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG), which faces a challenge in performance improvement, limits its practical applications. Here, a high-performance TENG consisting of a silicon carbide@silicon dioxide nanowhiskers/polydimethylsiloxane (SiC@SiO2/PDMS) nanocomposite film and a superhydrophobic aluminum (Al) plate as triboelectric layers is demonstrated. The 7 wt% SiC@SiO2/PDMS TENG presents a peak voltage of 200 V and a peak current of 30 μA, which are ~ 300 and ~ 500% over that of the PDMS TENG, owing to an increase in dielectric constant and a decrease in dielectric loss of the PDMS film because of electric insulated SiC@SiO2 nanowhiskers. Furthermore, a 10 μF capacitor can be charged up to 3 V within ~ 87 s, which can be continuously operated on the electronic watch for 14 s. The work provides an effective strategy for improving output performance of TENG by adding core-shell nanowhiskers to modulate the dielectric properties of organic materials.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This study was performed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of laparoscopic gastrectomy (LG) in patients with locally advanced gastric cancer (LAGC) who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT). METHODS We retrospectively analyzed patients who underwent gastrectomy for LAGC (cT2-4aN+M0) after NACT from January 2015 to December 2019. The patients were divided into a LG group and an open gastrectomy (OG) group. The short- and long-term outcomes in both groups were examined following propensity score matching. RESULTS We retrospectively reviewed 288 patients with LAGC who underwent gastrectomy following NACT. Of these 288 patients, 218 were enrolled; after 1:1 propensity score matching, each group comprised 81 patients. The LG group had significantly lower estimated blood loss than the OG group [80 (50-110) vs. 280 (210-320) mL, P < 0.001) but a longer operation time [205 (186.5-222.5) vs. 182 (170-190) min, P < 0.001], a lower postoperative complication rate (24.7% vs. 42.0%, P = 0.002), and a shorter postoperative hospitalization period [8 (7-10) vs. 10 (8-11.5) days, P = 0.001]. Subgroup analysis revealed that patients who underwent laparoscopic distal gastrectomy had a lower rate of postoperative complications than patients in the OG group (18.8% vs. 38.6%, P = 0.034); however, such a pattern was not seen in patients who underwent total gastrectomy (32.3% vs. 45.9%, P = 0.251). The 3-year matched cohort analysis showed no significant difference in overall survival or recurrence-free survival (log-rank P = 0.816 and P = 0.726, respectively) (71.3% and 65.0% in OG vs. 69.1% and 61.7% in LG, respectively). CONCLUSION In the short term, LG following NACT is safer and more effective than OG. However, the long-term results are comparable.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To evaluate the multiple factors influencing the survival of elderly patients with locally advanced gastric cancer (LAGC) and develop and validate the novel nomograms for predicting the survival. METHODS The clinical features of patients treated between 2000 and 2018 were collected and collated from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database and three medical centres in China, and the patients were randomly divided into a training cohort (3494), internal validation cohort (1497) and external validation cohort (841). Univariate and multivariate analyses of the prognostic values were performed to identify independent prognostic factors associated with overall survival (OS) and cancer-specific survival (CSS), and two nomogram models were developed. Harrell's concordance index (C-index) and calibration curves were employed to assess discrimination and calibration. Decision curve analysis (DCA) and receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curves were utilized to investigate the clinical usefulness. RESULTS In the SEER database, the 5-year OS of the patients was 31.08%, while the 5-year CSS of the patients was 44.09%. Furthermore, in the external validation set, the 5-year OS of the patients was 49.58%, and the 5-year CSS of these patients was 53.51%. After statistical analysis, nine independent prognostic factors of OS and CSS were identified, including age, race, tumour size, differentiation, TNM stage, gastrectomy type, lymph node metastasis (LNM), lymph node ratio (LNR) and chemotherapy. The C-index (approximately 0.7) and calibration curve (close to the optimal calibration line) indicated satisfactory discrimination and calibration of the nomogram. DCA and ROC curves showed that the developed nomogram was superior to TNM stage. CONCLUSION The novel validated nomogram could accurately predict the prognosis of individual elderly patients with LAGC and guide the selection of clinical treatment measures.

Abstract
Aim: To further assess the correlation between urine immunoglobin G (IgG) greater than 2.45 mg/L and the onset and progression of diabetic kidney disease (DKD). Methods: One thousand and thirty-five patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) were divided into two groups based on the baseline levels of 24 h urinary albumin excretion (24 h UAE): one group with 24 h UAE < 30 mg/24 h and one with 24 h UAE ≥ 30 mg/24 h. The groups were subdivided using baseline levels of urine IgG (≤2.45 mg/L and >2.45 mg/L; hereafter, the Low and High groups, respectively). We used logistic regression to assess the risk of urine IgG and it exceeding 2.45 mg/L. Kaplan–Meier curves were used to compare the onset and progression time of DKD. The receiver operating characteristic curve was used to test the predictive value of urine IgG exceeding 2.45 mg/L. Results: Urine IgG was an independent risk factor for the onset and progression of DKD. The rate and risk of DKD onset and progression at the end of follow-up increased significantly in the High group. The onset and progression time of DKD was earlier in the High group. Urine IgG exceeding 2.45 mg/L has a certain predictive value for DKD onset. Conclusions: Urine IgG exceeding 2.45 mg/L has a correlation with the onset and progression of DKD, and it also has a certain predictive value for DKD onset.

Abstract
Diabetes Mellitus (DM) and Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) are among top causes of patient health issues and fatalities in many countries. At present, terahertz biosensors have been widely used to detect chronic diseases because of their accurate detection, fast operation, flexible design and easy fabrication. In this paper, a Zeonex-based microstructured fiber (MSF) biosensor is proposed for detecting DM and CHD markers by adopting a terahertz time-domain spectroscopy system. A suspended hollow-core structure with a square core and a hexagonal cladding is used, which enhances the interaction of terahertz waves with targeted markers and reduces the loss. This work focuses on simulating the transmission performance of the proposed MSF sensor by using a finite element method and incorporating a perfectly matched layer as the absorption boundary. The simulation results show that this MSF biosensor exhibits an ultra-high relative sensitivity, especially up to 100.35% at 2.2THz, when detecting DM and CHD markers. Furthermore, for different concentrations of disease markers, the MSF exhibits significant differences in effective material loss, which can effectively improve clinical diagnostic accuracy and clearly distinguish the extent of the disease. This MSF biosensor is simple to fabricate by 3D printing and extrusion technologies, and is expected to provide a convenient and capable tool for rapid biomedical diagnosis.

Abstract
Primary bone diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PB-DLBCL) has been rarely reported because of its low incidence. The optimal treatment plan for patients with relapsed/refractory PB-DLBCL remains controversial. In this study, we present a case of a 57-year-old patient with refractory PB-DLBCL to better understand this disease. The patient developed lumbosacral/low extremity pain. A lumbar magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed skeletal lesions with osteolysis in L4-L5 and S1. With the failure of multi-line chemotherapy, the patient developed paralysis of both lower limbs. 18-Fluorinefluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT) and MRI showed new lesions in the femoral head, cervical and thoracic vertebrae. We tried to treat the patient with adjuvant radiotherapy and 10 courses of high-dose methotrexate (HD-MTX)-based monotherapy, after which the patient was able to walk and achieved complete remission (CR). To the best of our knowledge, this is the first attempt to use local radiotherapy combined with an HD-MTX regimen successfully for the treatment of refractory PB-DLBCL.

Abstract
PURPOSE This study aimed to explore the feasibility of transmembrane water exchange parameters detected by brain shutter speed (BSS) dynamic contrast enhanced (DCE)MRI, which is validated to be associated with aquaporin-4 expression, in distinguishing glioblastoma (GBM) from solitary brain metastasis (SBM). METHODS 40 patients (mean age: 58.6 ± 11.7 years old, male/female: 23/17) with GBM and 48 patients (mean age: 61.7 ± 10.5 years old, male/female: 28/20) with SBM were enrolled in this observational study. BSS DCE-MRI was performed before operation. Intravascular water efflux rate constant (kbo) and intracellular water efflux rate constant (kio) within the peritumoral region and enhancing tumor were calculated from SS-DCE, respectively. The difference of these two parameters between GBM and SBM was explored. Immunohistochemical staining aquaporin-4 of was performed to validate its underlying biological mechanism. RESULTS The kbo was found to be statistically different within both peritumoral region {SBM vs. GBM (s-1): 1.0[0.4,1.7] vs. 1.5[0.9,2.1], p = 0.009} and enhanced tumor {SBM vs. GBM (s-1): 0.2[0.1,0.5] vs. 0.4[0.1,1.3], p = 0.034}. Immunohistochemical analysis reveals the high perivascular aquaporin-4 expression in GBM may contribute the higher kbo value than that of SBM. CONCLUSIONS kbo derived from BSS DCE-MRI was an independent pathophysiological parameter for separating GBM from SBM, in which kbo might be associated with the perivascular aquaporin-4 expression.

Abstract
Because of its advantages such as abundant resources, low cost, simple synthesis, and high electrochemical stability, cobalt phosphide (CoP) is considered as a promising candidate for electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction. Through element doping, the morphology and electronic structure of the catalyst can be tuned, resulting in both the increase of the active site number and the improvement of the intrinsic activity of each site. Herein, we designed and fabricated Mn-doped CoP nanowires with a length of 3 μm, a diameter of 50 nm, and the pores between the grains of 10 nm. As a highly efficient electrocatalyst for alkaline hydrogen evolution, the Mn10-doped CoP/NF (doping amount is about 10 atom %) electrode presented overpotentials of 60 mV @ 10 mA cm-2 and 112 mV @ 100 mA cm-2, improved by 35 and 23%, respectively, compared with CoP/NF. Characterizations indicate that Mn doping increases the electrochemical active area, reduces the impedance, and tunes the electronic structure of the material. Density functional theory calculations also revealed that an appropriate amount of Mn dopant at a suitable location can both react as an active site itself and boost the activity of the surrounding Co sites, delivering favorable H* adsorption and rapid reaction kinetics. This result may not only promote the development of hydrogen evolution reaction catalysts but also encourage explorations of the relationship between the property and fine doping structure.

Abstract
Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) have shown huge application potential in the fields of micro-nano energy harvesting and multifunctional sensing. However, the damage of triboelectric material is one of the challenges for their practical applications. Herein, we fabricated a flexible TENG employing self-healing hydrogel and fluorinated ethylene propylene film as triboelectric materials for mechanical energy harvesting and pressure monitoring. The prepared hydrogel not only has excellent flexibility, transparency, and self-healing property but also exhibits good mechanical property without plastic deformation and damage under a large stretchable strain of 200%. The output electric signals of TENGs are as high as 33.0 V and 3 μA under a contact frequency of 0.40 Hz and a pressure of 2.9 N, respectively, which can charge a capacitor of 0.22 μF to 24.3 V within 300 s. Note that the voltage retention rate of TENGs after self-healing is up to 88.0%. Moreover, hydrogel-based TENGs can act as a wearable pressure sensor for monitoring human motion, exhibiting a high sensitivity of 105.9 mV/N or 1.73 nA/N under a contact frequency of 0.40 Hz. This research provides a reference roadmap for designing TENGs and self-powered pressure sensors with flexibility, self-healing, and robustness.

Abstract
BackgroundPatients with RA frequently struggle with intolerance of MTX and adherence to MTX remains highly variable. Guidelines conditionally recommend the tapering of MTX before tapering biologic (b)DMARDs, but acknowledge there is an absence of direct evidence. Prior reviews on this topic have focused on tapering of MTX from combination treatment with TNF-inhibitors(i) only1. There have been no updated reviews addressing MTX tapering from other targeted therapies such as IL6-i or JAK-i, nor has there been a systematic review addressing this question.ObjectivesTo determine the feasibility of tapering MTX to targeted therapy (bDMARDs or JAKi) alone in patients whose RA is controlled (LDA or remission).MethodsA systematic literature search combing MeSH terms and keywords was conducted in Medline, Embase and Cochrane Library for studies reporting remission outcomes after tapering MTX from targeted therapies in RA. Non-English and animal studies were excluded. Meta-analyses were conducted using random effects models. Forest and funnel plots were created and heterogeneity was calculated.ResultsOur search identified 5762 citations. After removal of duplicates and screening title/abstract using the COVIDENCE platform, 504 full-text articles were reviewed. Of the 10 articles meeting our inclusion criteria of tapering MTX to monotherapy with a targeted therapy, 3 studies tapered to etanercept, 3 to tocilizumab, 1 to tofacitinib, 1 to certolizumab pegol, 1 to adalimumab and 1 to abatacept monotherapy. Nine studies were RCTs and one was a long-term extension study (LTE) (Table 1). Disease duration was longer in 7 studies (6-11 years) and early in 3 studies (1-9 months). The MTX tapering strategy was gradual in 2 and rapid in 8 studies. Follow-up ranged from 3 -18 months in RCTs, and up to 3 years in the LTE. Studies reporting outcomes up to 1 year after tapering had remission rates ranging 48-76%, but this dropped to 40% in one study reporting 18- month remission outcomes. Our meta-analysis conducted in 2000 RA participants from 10 studies showed that patients who tapered MTX to targeted therapy alone could maintain remission with an overall pooled OR of 0.81 (0.68, 0.97) (Figure 1). There was no heterogeneity among the studies in this group (I2=0.0%, p=0.788). Our funnel plot indicated high precision and potentially less publication bias. Abstract
BackgroundUp to 30% of RA patients receive monotherapy with biologic (b)DMARDs or JAK inhibitors (i), often due to intolerance of methotrexate (MTX). Monotherapy with IL-6i and JAK-i has been reported to be effective. The EULAR research agenda includes addressing the question of whether tapering of targeted therapy (bDMARDs and JAK-i) used as monotherapy (targeted monotherapy) is possible1.ObjectivesTo assess if it is feasible to taper (stop or reduce) targeted monotherapy with controlled RA using existing clinical trial data.MethodsA systematic review of the literature (2014-2021), cited in Medline, Embase and the Cochrane Library, was performed. Meta-analyses were conducted using random effects models. Forest and funnel plots were created and heterogeneity calculated.ResultsOur search yielded 5762 citations. After de-duplication, screening of titles/abstracts and review of full text articles, we identified 5 studies comparing tapering of targeted monotherapy (TNF-i, tocilizumab (TCZ), abatacept (ABA) and baricitinib) to continuing therapy or other tapering regimens (Table 1). In our meta-analysis of data from 800 patients we observed a trend for lower odds of remission when tapering of targeted monotherapy vs comparator treatment regimen [pooled OR 0.72 (0.35, 1.48)]. In one study comparing stopping monotherapy to continuing MTX, we saw the lowest OR 0.55 (0.20, 1.48). In studies comparing two tapering regimens the pooled OR was higher 2.17 (1.13, 4.16). There was no heterogeneity in the studies which compared tapering to continuing therapy (I2=0.0%, p=0.437) and moderate heterogeneity in the studies that tapered different treatments in both arms (I2=53.7%, p=0.115). Trials using a gradual tapering strategy had a numerically higher odds of remission [OR 2.15 (0.94, 4.92); 3.61(1.85, 7.04)] compared to a trial implementing abrupt withdrawal [OR 1.19 (0.53, 2.68)]. There was a trend for higher remission outcomes in studies of early RA [pooled OR 1.71 (0.72, 4.05)] compared to established RA [pooled OR 1.12 (0.29, 4.27)] (Figure 1). There was insufficient evidence to demonstrate the significant effects of tapering targeted monotherapy in RA. Only one study out of 5 compared stopping targeted monotherapy to continuing therapy (MTX), and reported a low OR of remission. Three studies tapered therapy in both arms and one study performed a dose reduction. Our review suggests that stopping targeted monotherapy is unlikely to maintain disease control. More gradual tapering schemes, dose reduction and early treatment of disease may be associated with more successful tapering. More studies are needed to better inform our patients. Abstract
Graphene, a novel form of the hexagonal honeycomb two-dimensional carbon-based structural material with a zero-band gap and ultra-high specific surface area, has unique optoelectronic capabilities, promising a suitable basis for its application in the field of optical fiber sensing. Graphene optical fiber sensing has also been a hotspot in cross-research in biology, materials, medicine, and micro-nano devices in recent years, owing to prospective benefits, such as high sensitivity, small size, and strong anti-electromagnetic interference capability and so on. Here, the progress of optical fiber biochemical sensors based on graphene is reviewed. The fabrication of graphene materials and the sensing mechanism of the graphene-based optical fiber sensor are described. The typical research works of graphene-based optical fiber biochemical sensor, such as long-period fiber grating, Bragg fiber grating, no-core fiber and photonic crystal fiber are introduced, respectively. Finally, prospects for graphene-based optical fiber biochemical sensing technology will also be covered, which will provide an important reference for the development of graphene-based optical fiber biochemical sensors.

Abstract
Objective: To compare the short-term and long-term outcomes between robotic-assisted and laparoscopic-assisted radical right hemicolectomy in patients with adenocarcinoma of the right colon. Methods: Retrospective review of a prospectively collected database identified 288 right colon cancer patients who underwent either robotic-assisted (n=57) or laparoscopic-assisted right hemicolectomy (n=231) between October 2014 and October 2020 at Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery, the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University. There were 161 males and 127 females, aging (60.3±12.8) years (range: 17 to 86 years). After propensity score matching as 1∶4 between robotic-assisted and laparoscopic-assisted right hemicolectomy, there were 56 cases in robotic group and 176 cases in laparoscipic group. Perioperative outcomes and overall survival were compared between the two groups using t test, Wilcoxon rank sum test, χ2 test, Fisher exact test, Kaplan-Meier method and Log-rank test, respectively. Results: The total operative time was similar between the robotic and laparoscopic group ((206.9±60.7) minutes vs. (219.9±56.3) minutes, t=-1.477, P=0.141). Intraoperative bleeding was less in the robotic group (50 (20) ml vs. 50 (50) ml, Z=-4.591, P<0.01), while the number of lymph nodes retrieved was significantly higher (36.0±10.0 vs. 29.0±10.1, t=4.491, P<0.01). Patients in robotic group experienced significantly shorter hospital stay, shorter time to first flatus, and defecation (t: -2.888, -2.946, -2.328, all P<0.05). Moreover, the overall peri-operative complication rate was similar between robotic and laparoscopic group (17.9% vs. 22.7%, χ²=0.596,P=0.465). The 3-year overall survival were 92.9% and 87.9% respectively and the 3-year disease-free survival rates were 83.1% and 82.6% with no statistical significance between the robotic and laparoscopic group (P>0.05). Conclusions: Compared to laparoscopic-assisted right hemicolectomy, robot-assisted right hemicolectomy could improve some short-term clinical outcomes. The two procedures are both achieving comparable survival.

Abstract
Objectives: To investigate the potential predictive value of serum adiponectin (APN) and hemoglobin (Hb) levels for the occurrence of vascular cognitive impairment in ischemic stroke patients. Methods: Eighty ischemic stroke patients, admitted to our hospital between June 2019 and November 2020, were retrospectively divided into no cognitive impairment (NCI) group (n=43) and cognitive impairment (CI) group (n=37) based on Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scale scoring at three months follow-up. ELISA was used to assess serum Hb and APN levels and receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were created to evaluate correlation. Results: Serum APN and Hb levels were lower in the vascular cognitive impairment group compared to non-impaired counterparts. Pearson correlation analysis showed that both APN and Hb levels were positively correlated with MoCA scores. Area under curve analysis indicated predictive value for serum APN and Hb for predicting cognitive impairment in ischemic stroke patients. Conclusion: Serum APN and Hb levels in ischemic stroke patients have value for predicting vascular cognitive impairment and may be suitable for helping dictate treatment planning.

Abstract
Smoothing splines have been used pervasively in nonparametric regressions. However, the computational burden of smoothing splines is significant when the sample size n is large. When the number of predictors d ≥ 2 , the computational cost for smoothing splines is at the order of O(n 3) using the standard approach. Many methods have been developed to approximate smoothing spline estimators by using q basis functions instead of n ones, resulting in a computational cost of the order O(nq 2). These methods are called the basis selection methods. Despite algorithmic benefits, most of the basis selection methods require the assumption that the sample is uniformly-distributed on a hyper-cube. These methods may have deteriorating performance when such an assumption is not met. To overcome the obstacle, we develop an efficient algorithm that is adaptive to the unknown probability density function of the predictors. Theoretically, we show the proposed estimator has the same convergence rate as the full-basis estimator when q is roughly at the order of O[n 2d/{(pr+1)(d +2)}] , where p ∈[1, 2] and r ≈ 4 are some constants depend on the type of the spline. Numerical studies on various synthetic datasets demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed estimator in comparison with mainstream competitors.

Abstract
AIM Patients with diabetic ketosis often exhibit albuminuria. We previously found that acute hyperglycaemia can cause nephrotoxic injury. Here, we explored whether an excessive ketone body level causes kidney injury and the potential underlying mechanism. METHODS Fifty-six type 2 diabetes without ketosis (NDK group), 81 type 2 diabetes with ketosis (DK group), and 38 healthy controls (NC group) were enrolled. Clinical data were collected before and after controlling diabetic ketosis. Beta-hydroxybutyric acid (BOHB), an AKT activator, an AKT inhibitor, or plasmids encoding DAB2 were transformed into human renal proximal tubule epithelial cells (HK-2 cells). RESULTS The urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (ACR), transferrin (TF), immunoglobulin G (IgG), Beta2-microglobulin (β2-MG), retinol-binding protein (RBP), N-acetyl-beta-glucosaminidase (NAG), and Beta-galactosidase (GAL) were higher in the DK than NC and NDK groups. The proportion of patients with an increased urinary level of TF, IgG, β2-MG, RBP, NAG, or GAL was higher in the DK group too. After controlling ketosis, urinary microalbumin, TF, IgG, β2-MG, and RBP decreased significantly. In HK-2 cells, albumin endocytosis and megalin expression decreased with increasing BOHB concentration. Compared with BOHB treatment, BOHB with AKT activator significantly increased the DAB2, megalin levels and albumin endocytosis; the AKT inhibitor treatment exhibited the opposite effects. Compared with BOHB treatment, megalin expression and albumin endocytosis were significantly increased after BOHB with DAB2 overexpression treatment. CONCLUSIONS Patients with diabetic ketosis may suffer from glomerular and tubular injuries that recover after ketosis control. High concentrations of BOHB downregulate megalin expression by inhibiting the AKT/DAB2/megalin signalling pathway and albumin endocytosis in proximal renal tubules.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The influence of anti-nuclear antibody (ANA) on induced ovulation was controversial, and the effect of prednisone plus hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) treatment on frozen embryo transfer outcomes of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) for ANA-positive women was unclear. METHODS Fifty ANA-positive women and one-hundred ANA-negative women matched for age and anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) were included from a Reproductive Medical Central of a University Hospital. Sixty-one oocytes pick-up (OPU) cycles in ANA+ group and one-hundred OPU cycles in ANA- group were compared; 30 frozen embryo transfer cycles without treatment and 66 with prednisone plus HCQ treatment among ANA-positive women were compared. RESULTS There was no statistical difference in number of retrieved oocytes (13.66 ± 7.71 vs 13.72 ± 7.23, p = .445), available embryos (5.23 ± 3.37 vs 5.47 ± 3.26, p = .347), high-quality embryos (3.64 ± 3.25 vs 3.70 ± 3.52, p = .832), and proportion of high-quality embryos (26.5% vs. 26.7%, p = .940). Biochemical pregnancy rate (33.3% vs. 68.2%, p < .05), clinical pregnancy rate (20.0% vs. 50.1%, p < .05), and implantation rate (5.6% vs. 31.8%, p < .05) were lower, and pregnancy loss rate (83.3% vs. 23.1%, p < .05) was higher in patients with treatment than no treatment. CONCLUSION The influence of ANA on number of retrieved oocytes, available embryos, high-quality embryos, and proration of high-quality embryos was not found. The treatment of prednisone plus HCQ may improve implantation rate, biochemical pregnancy rate, and clinical pregnancy rate, and reduce pregnancy loss rate in frozen embryo transfer outcomes for ANA-positive women.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Gastric cancer, which is the fifth most common malignancy and the third most common cause of cancer-related death, is particularly predominant in East Asian countries, such as China, Japan and Korea. It is a serious global health issue that causes a heavy financial burden for the government and family. To our knowledge, there are few reports of multicentre randomized controlled trials on the utilization of CT angiography (CTA) for patients who are histologically diagnosed with gastric cancer before surgery. Therefore, we planned this RCT to verify whether the utilization of CTA can change the short- and long-term clinical outcomes. METHOD The GISSG 20-01 study is a multicentre, prospective, open-label clinical study that emphasises the application of CTA for patients who will undergo laparoscopic gastrectomy to prove its clinical findings. A total of 382 patients who meet the inclusion criteria will be recruited for the study and randomly divided into two groups in a 1:1 ratio: the CTA group (n = 191) and the non-CTA group (n = 191). Both groups will undergo upper abdomen enhanced CT, and the CTA group will also receive CT angiography. The primary endpoint of this trial is the volume of blood loss. The second primary endpoints are the number of retrieved lymph nodes, postoperative recovery course, hospitalization costs, length of hospitalization days, postoperative complications, 3-year OS and 3-year DFS. DISCUSSION It is anticipated that the results of this trial will provide high-level evidence and have clinical value for the application of CTA in laparoscopic gastrectomy. Abstract
Hypoxia is a prominent feature of head and neck cancer. However, the oxygen element characteristics of proteins and how they adapt to hypoxia microenvironments of head and neck cancer are still unknown. Human genome sequences and proteins expressed data of head and neck cancer were retrieved from pathology atlas of Human Protein Atlas project. Then compared the oxygen and carbon element contents between proteomes of head and neck cancer and normal oral mucosa-squamous epithelial cells, genome locations, pathways, and functional dissection associated with head and neck cancer were also studied. A total of 902 differentially expressed proteins were observed where the average oxygen content is higher than that of the lowly expressed proteins in head and neck cancer proteins. Further, the average oxygen content of the up regulated proteins was 2.54% higher than other. None of their coding genes were distributed on the Y chromosome. The up regulated proteins were enriched in endocytosis, apoptosis and regulation of actin cytoskeleton. The increased oxygen contents of the highly expressed and the up regulated proteins might be caused by frequent activity of cytoskeleton and adapted to the rapid growth and fast division of the head and neck cancer cells. The oxygen usage bias and key proteins may help us to understand the mechanisms behind head and neck cancer in targeted therapy, which lays a foundation for the application of stoichioproteomics in targeted therapy and provides promise for potential treatments for head and neck cancer.
