Abstract
The escalating use of pesticides on fruits and vegetables has raised concerns about potential health risks. Therefore, we developed a superhydrophilic resin/graphene oxide (SR/GO) with rich adsorption interactions using an eco-friendly synthetic approach. SR/GO demonstrated excellent hydrophilicity, ensuring optimal contact with aqueous sample matrices. The multiple adsorption interactions, including π-π conjugation, hydrogen bonding, and electrostatic adsorption, facilitated multi-pesticide residue co-extraction. The synthesized SR/GO was applied to a miniaturized centrifugation-accelerated pipette-tip extraction method, coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography. The optimized method exhibited low consumption (15.0 mg adsorbent), and high efficiency, with low detection limits (1.4-2.9 ng g-1) and high recoveries (75.3-113.0%). Water-compatible SR/GO, along with a miniaturized extraction process, showcases a potent analytical approach for pesticide residue analysis in fruits and vegetables. The significance of this method lies in its ability to ensure agricultural and food safety by using a low-cost and efficient multi-pesticide residue analytical strategy.

Abstract
In this study, a novel three-dimensional hierarchical porous deep eutectic solvents-modified graphene aerogel (3D DES-GA) was synthesized for use as a solid-phase microextraction (SPME) fiber coating. The SPME fiber was characterized by its fluffy and hierarchical porous structure, uniform thickness, and rapid mass transfer capabilities. This fiber demonstrated a lifetime (≥160 uses) and excellent precision (with relative standard deviations of 2.4-6.6% for single fiber and 6.0-9.8% for fiber-to-fiber repeatability). The SPME fiber also exhibited remarkable extraction performance for polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and polychlorinated biphenyls, which are common persistent organic pollutants in environmental samples. When combined with gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, the method allowed for high-efficiency extraction (enrichment factors ranging from 1225 to 4652 folds) and sensitive determination (limit of detection ranging from 0.010 to 0.056 pg g-1) of polychlorinated naphthalenes (PCNs) in complex samples. To validate this method, we applied it to the determination of four PCNs in five types of fish tissues. The results revealed the presence of 1-chloronaphthalene at concentrations of 7.0 ± 2.9-34.8 ± 2.1 pg g-1 and 1,4-dichloronaphthalene at concentrations of 6.0 ± 0.3-10.9 ± 1.4 pg g-1 in three fish species. Compared with reported sample pretreatment methods reported in the literature, this proposed headspace SPME method offers additional advantages, including simplicity of operation and reduced sample and organic solvent consumption.

Abstract
Perfluoroalkyl acids (PFAAs) are emerging pollutants that endangers food safety. Developing methods for the selective determination of trace PFAAs in complex samples remains challenging. Herein, an ionic liquid modified porous imprinted phenolic resin-dispersive filter extraction-liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (IL-PIPR-DFE-LC-MS/MS) method was developed for the determination of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctane sulfonate (PFOS) in eggs. The new IL-PIPR adsorbent was prepared at room temperature, which avoids the disorder and instability of the template at high temperatures. The imprinting factor of IL-PIPR for PFOA and PFOS exceeded 7.3. DFE, combined with IL-PIPR (15 mg), was used to extract PFOA and PFOS from eggs within 15 min. The established method exhibits low limits of detection (0.01-0.02 ng/g) and high recoveries (84.7%-104.7%), which surpass those of previously reported methods. This work offers a new approach to explore advanced imprinted adsorbents for PFAAs, efficient sample pretreatment technique, and analytical method for pollutants in foods.

Abstract
This study presents novel methodologies and materials for selectively and sensitively determining gibberellin traces in licorice to address food safety concerns. A novel hydrophilic imprinted resin-graphene oxide composite (HMIR-GO) was developed with fast mass transfer, high adsorption capacity, and exceptional aqueous recognition performance for gibberellin. Leveraging the advantages of molecular imprinting, hydrophilic resin synthesis, and rapid mass transfer characteristics of GO, HMIR-GO was employed as an adsorbent, showing resistance to matrix interference. Coupled with HPLC, a rapid and selective method for determining gibberellin was established. Under optimal conditions, the method exhibited a wide linear range (0.02-5.00 μg g-1, r = 0.9999), low detection limits (3.3 ng g-1), and satisfactory recoveries (92.0-98.4%), enabling the accurate and rapid detection of gibberellin in licorice. This study introduces a pioneering strategy for the selective extraction and determination of trace gibberellin levels, offering insights for similar applications in functional foods.

Abstract
The residues of polychlorinated naphthalenes (PCNs) produced in multiple industrial production and life processes are continuously entering environmental waters through atmospheric deposition and land drainage, and the water pollution caused by PCNs is continuing public concern due to their potential threat to aquatic ecosystems and public health. Herein, a new chlorine-functionalized covalent organic framework anchored graphene aerogel (COF-GA) was synthesized by covalent modification technology and used as fiber coating of solid-phase microextraction for synergically enhanced extraction of PCNs in environmental water. The extraction efficiency of COF-GA coated fiber was superior to commercial fiber due to the multiple interactions (π-π, hydrophobic interaction, and halogen bonding interaction). The COF-GA coated fiber has good stability, can avoid water vapor interference at 80 °C for a long time (30 -50 min) to maintain adsorption equilibrium, and can be reused at least 96 times. Combined with gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry, a sensitive method for the high-efficient enrichment (enrichment factors were 501 -7453 folds) and ultra-sensitive detection (LODs were 0.001 -0.428 pg/mL) of PCNs in environmental water was established. The enrichment factor for PCNs is significantly higher than in previous studies. This proposed method provides new technical support for the daily monitoring and risk assessment of trace PCNs in environmental water.

Abstract
The three-dimensional porous ionic liquid-chitosan-graphene oxide aerogel (IL-CS-GOA) monolithic adsorbent with a through-hole structure was prepared using natural chitosan (CS) as the skeletal framework, graphene oxide (GO) as the support to provide mechanical strength, and ionic liquid (IL) as the porogen and modifier. The resulting IL-CS-GOA demonstrated a fluffy and porous structure with various pore sizes and excellent regeneration capability (over six cycles). Its specific surface area exceeded that of CS-GOA and IL-GOA by more than 7 times, enhancing its polyhalogenated carbazoles (PHCZs) adsorption capacity. Within 5 min, IL-CS-GOA (1.0 mg) exhibited adsorption amounts of 539 ng mg-1 for 3-bromocarbazole (3-BCZ), 716 ng mg-1 for 2,7-dibromocarbazole (2,7-BCZ), and 798 ng mg-1 for 1,3,6,8-tetrabromocarbazole (1,3,6,8-BCZ), showcasing its rapid mass transfer and high adsorption capabilities. IL-CS-GOA was utilized as the adsorbent for glass dropper extraction (GDE) in conjunction with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS), to develop a highly efficient and accurate method for determining PHCZs in sediments. Under optimal conditions, the established method exhibited a wide linear range (0.4-250 ng g-1, r ≥ 0.9990), low detection limits (0.04-0.24 ng g-1), and satisfactory recoveries (80.5 %-93.8 %), enabling the accurate and rapid detection of PHCZs in sediment samples. This study presents a novel approach for creating three-dimensional porous aerogels, introduces a new form of sample pretreatment using GDE with a monolithic adsorbent, and offers a new method for the determination of PHCZs in environmental matrices.

Abstract
Nanozymes have gained much attention as a replacement for natural enzymes duo to their unique advantages. Two-dimensional layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanomaterials with high physicochemical plasticity are emerging as the main forces for the construction of nanozymes. Unfortunately, high-performance LDH nanozymes are still scarce. Recently, defects in nanomaterials have been verified to play a significant role in modulating the catalytic microenvironment, thereby improving catalytic performances of nanozymes. Therefore, the marriage between defect engineering and LDH nanozymes is expected to spark new possibilities. In this work, twenty kinds of natural amino acids were separately inserted into the interlayer of CoFe-LDH to obtain defect-rich CoFe-LDH nanozymes. The peroxidase (POD)-like activity and catalytic mechanism of the as-prepared LDH nanozymes were systematically studied. The results showed that the intercalation of amino acids can effectively enhance the POD-like activity of LDH nanozymes owing to the increasing oxygen/metal vacancies. And l-cysteine intercalated LDH exhibited the highest catalytic activity ascribed to its thiol group. As a proof of concept, LDH nanozymes with superb POD-like activity were used in biosensing and antibacterial applications. This work suggests that modulating the catalytic microenvironment through defect engineering is an effective way to obtain high-efficiency POD mimics.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To explore the therapeutic effect of transdermal patches containing Cassia seed extract applied at the navel on slow transit constipation (STC) in rats and explore the spectrum-effect relationship of the patches. METHOD In a STC rat model established by gavage of compound diphenoxylate suspension for 14 days, the transdermal patches containing low, medium and high doses of Cassia seed extract (41.75, 125.25, and 375.75 mg/kg, respectively) were applied at the Shenque acupoint on the abdomen for 14 days after modeling, with constipation patches (13.33 mg/kg) as the positive control. After the treatment, fecal water content and intestinal propulsion rate of the rats were calculated, the pathological changes in the colon were observed with HE staining. Serum NO and NOS levels and the total protein content and NO, NOS and AChE expressions in the colon tissue were determined. HPLC fingerprints of the transdermal patches were established, and the spectrum-effect relationship between the common peaks of the patches and its therapeutic effect were analyzed. RESULTS Treatment with the transdermal patches containing Cassia seed extract significantly increased fecal water content and intestinal propulsion rate of the rat models, where no pathological changes in the colon tissue were detected. The treatment also suppressed the elevations of serum and colonic NO and NOS levels and reduction of AChE in STC rats. Twenty-eight common peaks were confirmed in the HPLC fingerprints of 6 batches of Cassia seed extract-containing patches. Analysis of the spectrum-effect relationship showed that autrantio-obtusin had the greatest contribution to the therapeutic effect of the patches in STC rats. CONCLUSION The Cassia seed extract-containing patches alleviates STC in rats via synergistic actions of multiple active ingredients in the extract, where autrantio-obtusin, rhein, chrysoobtusin, obtusin, obtusifolin, emodin, chrysophanol, and physcion are identified as the main active ingredients.

Abstract
It is extremely significant while challenging to accurately detect low-levels of perfluoroalkyl carboxylic acid compounds (PFCAs) in environmental water. Herein, adopting perfluorotetradecanoic acid as the dummy template, selective molecularly imprinted composites (CNTs@ILs@MIPs) grafted carbon nanotubes integrating hydrophilic ionic liquids were successfully prepared via surface imprinting and dummy-template imprinting techniques. The obtained CNTs@ILs@MIPs were applied as selective extraction adsorbent for specifically extract PFCAs in environmental water coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry quantification. Detailed studies were conducted on the main preparation parameters and extraction conditions. The CNTs@ILs@MIPs displayed excellent adsorptivity, and the established method exhibited low LODs (0.60-1.64 ng L-1), wide linearity with R2 above 0.9994, and satisfactory adsorption recoveries (80.5-112.5%) for seven PFCAs. This proposed method provides a new applicable approach for the detection of targeted pollutants in environmental water by utilizing the high affinity and recognition ability of molecularly imprinted carbon nanotube functional materials modified with ionic liquids.

Abstract
Efficiently detecting diamide insecticides in environmental water is challenging due to their low concentrations and complex matrix interferences. In this study, we developed ionic liquids (ILs)-incorporated magnetic molecularly imprinted polymers (IL-MMIPs) for the detection of diamide insecticides, capitalizing on the advantages of ILs and quick magnetic separation through surface imprinting. Tetrachlorantraniliprole was used as the template, and a specific IL, 1-vinyl-3-ethylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([VEIm][PF6]), was employed as the functional monomer. Various synthesis conditions were investigated to optimize adsorption efficiency. The prepared IL-MMIPs were successfully employed as adsorbents in magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) to selectively extract, separate, and quantify three types of diamide insecticides from water samples using HPLC-UV detection. Under optimal conditions, the analytical method achieved low limits of detection (0.69 ng mL-1, 0.64 ng mL-1, 0.59 ng mL-1 for cyantraniliprole, chlorantraniliprole and tetrachlorantraniliprole, respectively). The method also displayed a wide linear range (0.003-10 μg mL-1 for cyantraniliprole and chlorantraniliprole, and 0.004-10 μg mL-1 for tetrachlorantraniliprole, respectively) with satisfactory coefficients (R2≥0.9996), and low relative standard deviation (RSD≤2.55%). Additionally, extraction recoveries fell within the range of 79.4%-109%. The results clearly demonstrate that IL-MMIPs exhibit exceptional recognition and rebinding capabilities. The developed IL-MMIPs-MSPE-HPLC-UV method is straightforward and rapid, making it suitable for the detection and analysis of three kinds of diamide insecticides in environmental water.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The detection of disease biomarkers in biological samples plays an important role in early diagnosis and treatment of carcinoid tumor. However, due to the complexity of biological samples and the extremely low concentration of disease biomarkers, sample pretreatment is still the bottleneck of achieving accurate quantitative determination. In this work, new hydrophilic molecularly imprinted resin-hexagonal boron nitride (HMIR-h-BN) composites were developed and used as a new solid phase extraction (SPE) adsorbent for selective detection of 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid (5-HIAA), a biomarker of carcinoid tumor, in urine. RESULTS Twenty-two types of HMIR-h-BN were successfully synthesized through growing hydrophilic molecularly imprinted resin on surface of activated two-dimensional h-BN nanosheets, and preparation parameters affecting the adsorption performance of HMIR-h-BN were investigated and optimized through adsorption experiments. HMIR-h-BN #19 (the ratio of resorcinol to hexamethylenetetramine: 6:3; the dosage of h-BN: 300 mg; the dosage of dummy template: 0.12 mmol; the imprinting time: 4 h) has demonstrated to be the optimal material for efficient separation and extraction of 5-HIAA. Combined with HPLC-UV, the limit of detection and the limit of quantification of 5-HIAA in real urine samples were 9.4 ng mL-1 and 31.3 ng mL-1, respectively, the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.9996 in the linear range of 0.1-300 μg mL-1 and the relative recoveries ranged from 86.9 % to 97.7 % with RSD ≤5.1 %. Moreover, after being processed by HMIR-h-BN-SPE, there are no interferences from other peaks at the peak position of 5-HIAA. SIGNIFICANCE The HMIR-h-BN composite has been demonstrated to be capable of selective extraction of 5-HIAA from urine samples and have a significant purification effect. Based on the established HMIR-h-BN-SPE-HPLC-UV method, accurate quantitative determination of 5-HIAA in urine samples was achieved, which is expected to be applied in the early diagnostic of carcinoid tumor.

A Multicentric, Retrospective, Real-world Study on Immune-related Adverse Events in Patients with Advanced Non-small Cell Lung Cancers Treated with Pembrolizumab Monotherapy. Abstract
AIMS We present 7 years of clinical experience with single-agent pembrolizumab immune checkpoint inhibitor immunotherapy in non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC) from four UK cancer centres. MATERIALS AND METHODS This multi-institutional retrospective cohort study included 226 metastatic NSCLC patients. Outcomes were number and severity of immune-related adverse events (irAEs), median progression-free survival (mPFS) and median overall survival (mOS). RESULTS Within our cohort, 119/226 (53%) patients developed irAEs. Of these, 54/119 (45%) experienced irAEs affecting two or more organ systems. The most common irAEs were diarrhoea and rash. The development of an irAE was associated with better mOS (20.7 versus 8.0 months; P < 0.001) and mPFS (12.0 versus 3.9 months; P < 0.001). The development of grade 3/4 toxicities was associated with worse outcomes compared with the development of grade 1/2 toxicities (mOS 6.1 months versus 25.2 months, P < 0.01; mPFS 5.6 months versus 19.3 months, P = 0.01, respectively). Females had a higher proportion of reported grade 3/4 toxicities (13/44 [29.5%] versus 10/74 [13.5%], P = 0.03). Using a multiple Cox regression model, the presence of irAEs was associated with a better overall survival (hazard ratio = 0.42, 95% confidence interval 0.29-0.61; P < 0.01) and better PFS (hazard ratio 0.38, 95% confidence interval 0.27-0.53; P < 0.001). CONCLUSION In this multicentre retrospective cohort study, the development of at least one irAE was associated with significantly longer mPFS and mOS; however, more severe grade 3 and 4 irAEs were associated with worse outcomes. Delayed-onset irAEs, after the 3-month timepoint, were associated with better clinical outcomes.

Abstract
The defatted seeds of evening primrose (DE), a by-product of evening primrose oil extraction, are currently underutilized. This study aimed to valorize DE by examining its effects on melanogenesis and tyrosinase activity in zebrafish embryos and in vitro, and an innovative affinity-labeled molecular networking workflow was proposed for the rapid identification of tyrosinase inhibitors in DE. Our results indicated DE significantly reduced melanin content (53.3 % at 100 μg/mL) and tyrosinse activity (80.05 % for monophenolase and 70.40 % for diphenolase at 100 μg/mL). Furthermore, through the affinity-labeled molecular networking approach, 20 compounds were identified as potential tyrosinase inhibitors within DE, predominantly flavonoids and tannins characterized by catechin and galloyl substructures. Seven of these compounds were isolated and their inhibitory effects on tyrosinase were validated using functional assays. This study not only underscores the potential of DE as a rich source of natural tyrosinase inhibitors but also establishes the effectiveness of affinity-labeled molecular networking in pinpointing bioactive compounds in complex biological matrices.

Abstract
Overweight and obesity are the causes of many diseases and have become global "epidemics". Research on natural active components with anti-adipogenesis effects in plants has aroused the interest of researchers. One of the most critical problems is establishing sample preparation and analytical techniques for quickly and selectively extracting and determining the active anti-adipogenesis components in complex plant matrices for developing new anti-adipogenic drugs. In this study, a new poly(deep eutectic solvents) surface imprinted graphene oxide composite (PDESs-MIP/GO) with high selectivity for phenolic acids was prepared using deep eutectic solvents as monomers and crosslinkers. A miniaturized centrifugation-accelerated pipette-tip matrix solid-phase dispersion method (CPT-MSPD) with PDESs-MIP/GO as adsorbent, coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography, was further developed for the rapid determination of anti-adipogenesis markers in Solidago decurrens Lour. (SDL). The established method was successfully used to determination anti-adipogenesis markers in SDL from different regions, with the advantages of accuracy (recoveries: 94.4 - 115.9 %, RSDs ≤ 9.8 %), speed (CPT-MSPD time: 11 min), selectivity (imprinting factor: ∼2.0), and economy (2 mg of adsorbent and 1 mL of solvents), which is in line with the current advanced principle of "3S+2A" in analytical chemistry.

[Comparison of efficacy and safety between domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors and pembrolizumab in the treatment of driver gene-negative advanced non-small cell lung cancer]. Abstract
Objective: To compare the efficacy and safety of domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors and pembrolizumab in the treatment of driver gene-negative advanced non-small cell lung cancer. Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 1 241 patients with driver gene-negative, unresectable stage ⅢB to Ⅳ non-small cell lung cancer who were treated at the Hunan Cancer Hospital from January 1, 2017 to October 1, 2022. All patients received monotherapy or combination therapy with domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors or pembrolizumab. Among the 1 241 patients, there were 1 066 males and 175 females, with an age range of 14 to 84 years and a median age of 62 years. Among them, 67 patients received monotherapy with domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors, 695 patients received combination therapy with domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors, 102 patients received monotherapy with pembrolizumab, and 377 patients received combination therapy with pembrolizumab. The efficacy and safety of domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors and pembrolizumab monotherapy or combination therapy were compared. Results: In the immune checkpoint inhibitor monotherapy group, the objective response rate (ORR) using domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors and pembrolizumab was 43.3%(29/67) and 44.1%(45/102), respectively, and the disease control rate (DCR) was 79.1%(53/67) and 84.3%(86/102), respectively, with no statistically significant differences (both P>0.05). In the immune combination therapy group, the ORR using domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors and pembrolizumab was 60.9%(423/695) and 62.9%(237/377), respectively, and the DCR was 92.9%(646/695) and 91.0%(343/377), respectively, with no statistically significant differences (both P>0.05). In the immune checkpoint inhibitor monotherapy group, the median progression-free survival (PFS) using domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors and pembrolizumab was 9.0 (95%CI: 3.0-15.0) months and 7.4 (95%CI: 4.8-9.8) months, respectively, with no statistically significant differences (P=0.660). The median overall survival (OS) was 27.0 (95%CI: 25.0-29.0) months and 22.0 (95%CI: 17.1-26.9) months, respectively, with no statistically significant differences (P=0.673). In the immune combination therapy group, the median PFS using domestic immune checkpoint inhibitors and pembrolizumab was 9.0 (95%CI: 8.2-9.8) months and 10.5 (95%CI: 9.0-12.0) months, respectively, with no statistically significant differences (P=0.186). The median OS was 24.0 (95%CI: 19.1-28.9) months and 26.0 (95%CI: 21.3-30.7) months, respectively, with no statistically significant differences (P=0.359). The incidence of grade 1-2 reactive capillary proliferation of the skin in the domestic immune checkpoint inhibitor group and pembrolizumab group was 14.0% (107/762) and 0, respectively. The incidence of grade≥3 reactive capillary proliferation of the skin was 1.0% (7/762) and 0, respectively, with statistically significant differences (both P<0.05). No statistically significant differences were observed in other adverse reactions (all P>0.05). Conclusions: The efficacy of domestically produced immune checkpoint inhibitors is comparable to that of pembrolizumab in the treatment of driver gene-negative advanced non-small cell lung cancer. There is little difference in safety, except for the specific difference in domestically produced immune checkpoint inhibitor, which has a unique risk of reactive cutaneous capillary endothelial proliferation.

Abstract
Alectinib is known as an effective targeted drug, which has excellent therapeutic effect on non-small cell lung cancer and can significantly prolong the survival of patients. Therapeutic drug monitoring is necessary due to the photo-instability of alectinib and the individual differences in patients. In this work, a porous polydopamine graphene oxide composite (PDAG) was prepared by a simple surface modification method. A PDAG-based pipette-tip solid-phase extraction (PT-SPE) coupled with HPLC-UV detection was proposed for the separation and detection of alectinib and its active metabolite M4 in plasma. The method was methodologically validated and showed good linearity in the range of 50-5000 ng mL-1 (R2 > 0.9995). The limit of detection (LOD) was 4.8 ng mL-1 and 3.9 ng mL-1 for alectinib and M4, respectively, and the limit of quantitation (LOQ) was 16.1 ng mL-1 and 13.1 ng mL-1, respectively. The intra-day and inter-day precision expressed by coefficient of variation was less than 4.8 %. The recovery of this method ranged from 84.9 % to 103.5 % with a standard deviation of less than 4.3 %. In conclusion, the established method is accurate, stable and inexpensive, and can be used to monitor the levels of alectinib and M4 in plasma, which provide technical and data support for exploring optimal individualized remedial dosing regimens.

Abstract
With completing a baseline survey of a large natural population cohort, conducting regular follow-up has become a key factor in further improving the quality of cohort construction and ensuring its sustainable development. Typical cohort follow-up methods include repeat surveys, routine monitoring, and community-oriented surveillance. However, in practical applications, there are often issues such as high costs, difficulty, and high error rates. Telephone follow-up is an important supplementary method to the methods mentioned above, as it has the characteristics of low cost, fast response, and high quality. However, the with difficult organization, quality control is challenging, response rates are low, and management levels vary widely, which limits its widespread use in large-scale population cohort studies. Given the above problems, this study draws on customer relationship management based on the actual needs of the China Northwest Cohort follow-up. It relies on the REDCap electronic data collection platform to build a telephone follow-up management and quality control system. Targeted solutions are provided for key issues in telephone follow-up implementation, including organizational structure, project management, data collection, and process quality control, to improve the quality control level of telephone follow-up comprehensively and thereby enhance the quality and efficiency of follow-up. We hope to provide standardized follow-up programs and efficient quality control tools for newly established and existing cohort studies.

Abstract
Simultaneous determination of multiple biomarkers can improve the effectiveness and accuracy of cancer diagnosis. Cortisol, cortisone, and 4-methoxyphenylacetic acid (4-Me) are metabolic biomarker group with high specificity and sensitivity for the diagnosis of non-small cells lung cancer (NSCLC), and the development of their simultaneous determination method is desired. Herein, a simple, sensitive, and low-cost method involving pipette-tip solid-phase extraction (PT-SPE) using anion exchange adsorbent (MAX) coupled with liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) was developed for the simultaneous determination of three biomarkers (cortisol, cortisone, and 4-Me) in human urine. The sample (0.1 mL), adsorbent (1.5 mg) and organic reagent (3.5 mL) of MAX-PT-SPE are less consumed, and have the advantages of easy access to raw materials, simple assembly, convenient on-site instant extraction, low pollution, and low cost. The limits of detection of the three biomarkers were 0.006-0.024 ng mL-1, the recoveries of three spiked levels (2, 50, and 500 ng mL-1) were 91.0%-99.3%, with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) ≤ 5.9%. Finally, the MAX-PT-SPE-LC-MS/MS method achieved the quantitative analysis of cortisol, cortisone, and 4-Me in urine of different patients of NSCLC. This method is expected to be used in the non-invasive auxiliary diagnosis of NSCLC, and it provides a new strategy for multi-molecular diagnosis and multi-omics combined diagnosis.

Abstract
Objective: To observe the treatment response of a two-dose regimen of inotuzumab ozogamicin (inotuzumab), a monoclonal antibody targeting CD22, for patients with heavily treated relapsed/refractory B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (R/R B-ALL), including those failed or relapsed after chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) -T-cell therapy. Methods: Pediatric and adult patients who received two doses of inotuzumab and who were evaluated after inotuzumab treatment were included. Antibody infusions were performed between March 2020 and September 2022. All patients expressed CD22 antigen as detected by flow cytometry (>80% leukemic cells displaying CD22) before treatment. For adults, the maximum dosage per administration was 1 mg (with a total of two administrations). For children, the maximum dosage per administration was 0.85 mg/m(2) (no more than 1 mg/dose; total of two administrations). The total dosage administered to each patient was less than the standard dosage of 1.8 mg/m(2). Results: Twenty-one patients with R/R B-ALL were included, including five children (<18 years old) and sixteen adults. Seventeen patients presented with 5.0% -99.0% leukemic blasts in the bone marrow/peripheral blood or with extramedullary disease, and four patients were minimal residual disease (MRD) -positive. Fourteen patients underwent both CD19 and CD22 CAR-T-cell therapy, four underwent CD19 CAR-T-cell therapy, and three underwent blinatumomab therapy. Eleven patients underwent allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). After inotuzumab treatment, 14 of 21 patients (66.7% ) achieved a complete response (CR, one was MRD-positive CR), and all four MRD-positive patients turned MRD-negative. Four of six patients who failed recent CD22 CAR-T-cell therapy achieved a CR after subsequent inotuzumab treatment. Seven patients (33.3% ) demonstrated no response. Grade 1-3 hepatotoxicity occurred in five patients (23.8% ), one child with no response experienced hepatic veno-occlusive disease (HVOD) during salvage transplantation and recovered completely. Conclusion: For patients with heavily treated R/R B-ALL, including those who had undergone allo-HSCT and CD19/CD22 CAR-T-cell therapy, the two-dose regimen of inotuzumab resulted in a CR rate of 66.7%, and the frequency of hepatotoxicity and HVOD was low.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To examine the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the epidemic status of imported malaria and national malaria control program in China, so as to provide insights into post-elimination malaria surveillance. METHODS All data pertaining to imported malaria cases were collected from Anhui Province, Hubei Province, Henan Province, Zhejiang Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region during the period from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2021. The number of malaria cases, species of malaria parasites, country where malaria parasite were infected, diagnosis and treatment after returning to China, and response were compared before (from January 1, 2018 to January 22, 2020) and after the COVID-19 pandemic (from January 23, 2020 to December 31, 2021). RESULTS A total of 2 054 imported malaria cases were reported in Anhui Province, Hubei Province, Henan Province, Zhejiang Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region during the period from January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2021, and there were 1 722 cases and 332 cases reported before and after the COVID-19 pandemic, respectively. All cases were reported within one day after definitive diagnosis. The annual mean number of reported malaria cases reduced by 79.30% in Anhui Province, Hubei Province, Henan Province, Zhejiang Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region after the COVID-19 pandemic (171 cases) than before the pandemic (826 cases), and the number of monthly reported malaria cases significantly reduced in Anhui Province, Hubei Province, Henan Province, Zhejiang Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region since February 2020. There was a significant difference in the constituent ratio of species of malaria parasites among the imported malaria cases in Anhui Province, Hubei Province, Henan Province, Zhejiang Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region before and after the COVID-19 pandemic (χ2 = 146.70, P < 0.05), and P. falciparum malaria was predominant before the COVID-19 pandemic (72.30%), while P. ovale malaria (44.28%) was predominant after the COVID-19 pandemic, followed by P. falciparum malaria (37.65%). There was a significant difference in the constituent ratio of country where malaria parasites were infected among imported malaria cases in Anhui Province, Hubei Province, Henan Province, Zhejiang Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region before and after the COVID-19 pandemic (χ2 = 13.83, P < 0.05), and the proportion of malaria cases that acquired Plasmodium infections in western Africa reduced after the COVID-19 pandemic that before the pandemic (44.13% vs. 37.95%; χ2 = 4.34, P < 0.05), while the proportion of malaria cases that acquired Plasmodium infections in eastern Africa increased after the COVID-19 pandemic that before the pandemic (9.58% vs. 15.36%; χ2 = 9.88, P = 0.02). The proportion of completing case investigation within 3 days was significantly lower after the COVID-19 pandemic than before the pandemic (96.69% vs. 98.32%; χ2= 3.87, P < 0.05), while the proportion of finishing foci investigation and response within 7 days was significantly higher after the COVID-19 pandemic than before the pandemic (100.00% vs. 98.43%; χ2 = 3.95, P < 0.05). CONCLUSIONS The number of imported malaria cases remarkably reduced in Anhui Province, Hubei Province, Henan Province, Zhejiang Province and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a decreased proportion of completing case investigations within 3 days. The sensitivity of the malaria surveillance-response system requires to be improved to prevent the risk of secondary transmission of malaria due to the sharp increase in the number of imported malaria cases following the change of the COVID-19 containment policy.

Abstract
Natural glycosides widely distributed in medicinal plants are valuable sources of therapeutic agents, showing various pharmacological effects. The separation and purification of natural glycosides are meaningful for their pharmacological research, which face with great challenges due to the complex of medicinal plants samples. In this work, two kinds of functional monolithic separation mediums A and S were fabricated and fully applied in the online extraction, separation and purification of active glycoside components from medicinal plants with a simple-procedure closed-loop mode. Chrysophanol glucoside and physcion glucoside were detected and separated from Rhei Radix et Rhizoma using separation medium A as a solid-phase extraction adsorbent. Rhapontin was isolated and purified from Rheum hotaoense C. Y. Cheng et Kao using separation medium S as the stationary phase of high-performance liquid chromatography. Compared to the reported literatures, high yield of 5.68, 1.20 and 4.76 mg g-1 of these three products were obtained with high purity. These two online closed-loop mode methods were carried out using high-performance liquid chromatography system, in which the sample injection, isolation and purification procedures are all online mode, and reduced loss compared to offline extraction and purification procedures, thus achieving high recovery and high purity.

Abstract
Exotic spin-dependent interactions involving new light particles address key questions in modern physics. Interactions between polarized neutrons (n) and unpolarized nucleons (N) occur in three forms: g_{S}^{N}g_{P}^{n}σ·r, g_{V}^{N}g_{A}^{n}σ·v, and g_{A}^{N}g_{A}^{n}σ·v×r, where σ is the spin and g's are the corresponding coupling constants for scalar, pseudoscalar, vector, and axial-vector vertexes. If such interactions exist, the Sun and Moon could induce sidereal variations of effective fields in laboratories. By analyzing existing data from laboratory measurements on Lorentz and CPT violation, we derive new experimental upper limits on these exotic spin-dependent interactions at astronomical ranges. Our limits on g_{S}^{N}g_{P}^{n} surpass the previous combined astrophysical-laboratory limits, setting the most stringent experimental constraints to date. We also report new constraints on vector-axial-vector and axial-axial-vector interactions at astronomical scales, with vector-axial-vector limits improved by ∼12 orders of magnitude. We extend our analysis to Hari Dass interactions and obtain new constraints.

Abstract
Osimertinib (OSIM) is widely used as a mainstream drug for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the lack of a rapid extraction and detection method for OSIM and its metabolite, AZ-5104, has limited clinical drug metabolism and drug resistance research because the drug is unstable. In this study, a new ionic liquid hybrid hierarchical porous material (IL-HHPM) was synthesized with hierarchical porous structures, including micropores (1.6-2.0 nm), mesopores (2.0-50.0 nm), macropores (50.0-148.7 nm), and multiple functional groups via a one-step hydrothermal method using silanized ionic liquids (IL) as functionalized hybrid monomer. The IL-HHPM has the advantages of a high specific surface area (437.4 ± 4.6 m2 g-1), sizable pore volume (0.74 cm3 g-1), and fast mass transfer, additionally, the IL-HHPM adsorbed OSIM and AZ-5104 via π-π interactions and hydrogen bonding. OSIM and AZ-5104 were rapidly extracted and measured in human urine using rapid and miniaturized centrifugal spin-column extraction (MCSCE), which was based on the IL-HHPM. The optimized factors for the extraction recoveries of OSIM and AZ-5104 were adsorbent dosage (8.0 mg), sample volume (0.5 mL), and operation time (9.0 min), and markedly reduced the adsorbent dosage and operation time. The IL-HHPM-MCSCE-HPLC method displayed good linearity (0.02-5.00 μg mL-1, r ≥ 0.9997), satisfying accuracy (spiked recoveries of 87.7%-100.0%), and good precision (RSDs ≤ 7.0%). The developed method is rapid, sensitive, and reproducible for the simultaneous determination of trace level of OSIM and AZ-5104 in human urine.

Abstract
Dopamine (DA) and l-tyrosine (l-Tyr) are neurotransmitters involved in various neuropsychiatric disorders. Therefore, it is important to monitor their levels for diagnosis and treatment. In this study, we synthesized poly (methacrylic acid)/graphene oxide aerogels (p(MAA)/GOA) by in situ polymerization and freeze-drying using graphene oxide and methacrylic acid as substrates. Then, the p(MAA)/GOA were applied as solid-phase extraction adsorbents to extract DA and l-Tyr from urine samples, followed by quantification using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The p(MAA)/GOA showed better adsorption performance for DA and l-Tyr than commercial adsorbents, likely as a result of the strong adsorption of the target analytes via π-π and hydrogen bonding interactions. Further, the developed method had good linearity (r > 0.9990) at concentrations of DA and l-Tyr of 0.075-2.0 and 0.75-20.0 μg mL-1, respectively, as well as a limit of detection of 0.018-0.048 μg mL-1, limit of quantitation of 0.059-0.161 μg mL-1, spiked recovery of 91.1-104.0%, and interday precision of 3.58-7.30%.The method was successfully applied to determine DA and l-Tyr in the urine samples of patients suffering from depression, demonstrating its potential for clinical applications.

Abstract
The development of ocular organoids, which closely mimic the tissue structure and functionality of the human eye, has emerged as a prominent area of research in the field of ophthalmology. These organoids serve as valuable models for investigating the mechanisms and interventions of eye-related diseases. However, the establishment of in vitro models that accurately represent the tissue structure and functionality of the human eye has long been a challenge in ophthalmic research. Numerous efforts have been made to enhance the fidelity of ocular organoid models, aiming to improve their suitability for studying disease pathogenesis and drug efficacy. With advancements in technology, it has become possible to construct individual components of the eye, such as the cornea and retina, in vitro. This review summarizes the recent advancements in ocular organoid research, with a focus on corneal and retinal organoids.

Abstract
A phenyl-based monolithic adsorbent was prepared in a 50-mm-long stainless steel tube, which was initiated by the redox system, using ethylene glycol phenyl ether acrylate as the monomer and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the crosslinker. The effects of monomer/crosslinker ratio and the porogens on the permeability and morphology of the resulting adsorbents were investigated, and the optimal adsorbent shows relatively uniform pore structure according to the characterizations of scanning electron microscopy and nitrogen adsorption-desorption method. The column that filled with the adsorbent was used as the solid-phase extraction (SPE) cartridge, exhibiting unique selectivity for the extraction of evodiamine from Euodia fructus (the fruits of Euodia rutaecarpa (Juss.)Benth.), which attributes to the interactions of π-π and hydrogen bonding between the adsorbent and evodiamine. Combined with a C18 analytical column via high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system, an online SPE-HPLC method was established for extraction, enrichment and determination of evodiamine from Euodia fructus. Method validation demonstrates that the relative standard deviation of the precision is less than 0.66%, and the spiked recovery is in the range of 93.11-98.06%. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the prepared SPE cartridge can be reused for no less than 100 times. These results show that the developed method is simple and efficient for online extraction and enrichment of evodiamine from Euodia fructus.

Abstract
Triazine herbicides have been widely detected in water resources and food, which poses a potential hazard to both ecosystem and human health. Due to their high polarity, conventional adsorbents have limitations for their extractions. Herein, for the effective magnetic extraction of triazine herbicides, a novel and effective magnetic adsorbent was prepared with a satisfactory extraction performance. In the experiments, five porous organic frameworks (POFs) with hydroxyl functional groups were synthesized by diazo-coupling reactions in aqueous solution with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) as a green monomer. After evaluation of the five POFs, the DDM-CD-POF, which was synthesized with 4'4-diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM) and β-CD, showed the largest specific surface area and the best adsorption capacity for the five triazine herbicides. Then, it was magnetized by introducing Fe3O4@SiO2 into it to prepare a magnetic adsorbent (M-DDM-CD-POF) to facilitate separation and recycling. Finally, the M-DDM-CD-POF-based magnetic solid-phase extraction in combination with high performance liquid chromatographic detection method was established for the quantitative determination of the triazine herbicides in environmental water and watermelon juice samples. The current strategy showed low limits of detection of 0.03-0.11 ng mL-1 for environmental water and 0.07-0.22 ng mL-1 for watermelon juice sample. The method recoveries for spiked samples ranged from 84.0% to 113.0% with the relative standard deviations ≤8.8%. This work provides a new approach for the detection of the triazine herbicides with good application prospect.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate the association between muscle mass and quality of life in adults in Shaanxi adults. Methods: The data in this analysis were part of the baseline survey of the Regional Ethnic Cohort Study in Northwest China from June 2018 to May 2019 in Shaanxi Province. The participants' quality of life, including physical component summary (PCS) and mental component summary (MCS), was assessed by the 12-Item Short Form Survey, and the Body Fat Determination System measured muscle mass. A logistic regression model with adjustment for confounding factors was established to analyze the association between muscle mass and quality of life in different genders. Further, sensitivity and subgroup analyses were conducted to explore its stability. Finally, a restricted cubic spline was employed to investigate the dose-response relationship between muscle mass and quality of life in different genders. Results: A total of 20 595 participants were included, with an average age of 55.0, and 33.4% were male. After controlling for potential confounders, compared with the Q1 group, the risk of low PCS was reduced by 20.6% (OR=0.794, 95%CI: 0.681-0.925) and the risk of low MCS was lower reduced by 20.1% (OR=0.799, 95%CI: 0.689-0.926) in female Q5 groups. Compared with the Q1 group, the risk of low PCS was reduced by 24.4% (OR=0.756, 95%CI: 0.644-0.888) in the male Q2 group. However, no significant association between muscle mass and MCS in males has been found. In females, restricted cubic spline analysis showed a significant linear dose-response relationship between muscle mass and PCS and MCS. Conclusions: There is a positive association between muscle mass and quality of life in Shaanxi adults, especially females. With the increase in muscle mass, the physical and mental functions of the population continue to improve.

Abstract
Linear optical quantum computing provides a desirable approach to quantum computing, with only a short list of required computational elements. The similarity between photons and phonons points to the interesting potential for linear mechanical quantum computing using phonons in place of photons. Although single-phonon sources and detectors have been demonstrated, a phononic beam splitter element remains an outstanding requirement. Here we demonstrate such an element, using two superconducting qubits to fully characterize a beam splitter with single phonons. We further use the beam splitter to demonstrate two-phonon interference, a requirement for two-qubit gates in linear computing. This advances a new solid-state system for implementing linear quantum computing, further providing straightforward conversion between itinerant phonons and superconducting qubits.

Abstract
In this work, a series of 5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP)-based hyper crosslinked polymers were prepared by Friedel-Crafts reaction. Among them, the HCP-TPP-BCMBP, which was prepared by using TPP as the monomer and with 4,4'-Bis(chloromethyl)-1,1'-biphenyl (BCMBP) as the cross-linking agent, had the best adsorption capability for the enrichment of the nitroimidazoles of dimetridazole, ronidazole, secnidazole, metronidazole, and ornidazole. Then, a solid-phase extraction (SPE) method with the HCP-TPP-BCMBP as adsorbent coupled with HPLC-UV detection for the determination of nitroimidazole residues in honey, environmental water, and chicken breast samples was established. The influence of the main factors that affect the SPE, i.e., sample solution volume, sample loading rate, sample pH, and eluent and its volume, were studied. Under the optimal conditions, the limits of detection (S/N = 3) for the nitroimidazoles were measured to be in the range of 0.02-0.04 ng mL-1, 0.4-1.0 ng g-1 and 0.5-0.7 ng g-1 for environmental water, honey, and chicken breast samples, with the determination coefficients being in the range of 0.9933-0.9998. The analytes recoveries by the method in fortified samples fell in the range from 91.1% to 102.7% for environmental water, from 83.2% to 105.0% for honey, and from 85.9% to 103.0% for chicken breast samples, and the relative standard deviations for the determination were less than 10%. It shows that the HCP-TPP-BCMBP has a strong adsorption capability for some polar compounds.

Abstract
Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) are persistent toxic, organic chemicals that tend to accumulate in the food chain. This study reports the rapid and selective extraction and determination of PCBs (PCB81, 153, 105, 126, and 157) in milk samples by a dispersive solid-phase extraction (DSPE) coupled with gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS). An ionic liquid-molecularly imprinted porous resin (IL-MIPPR) as a DSPE adsorbent was synthesized from m-aminophenol, formaldehyde, and 2,2'-benzidinedisulfonic acid as the monomer, crosslinker, and virtual template, respectively. The IL-MIPPR had a fast mass transfer (1.0 min) and good selectivity (imprinting factors of 1.8-3.0). The IL-MIPPR - DSPE - GC-MS/MS method exhibited good linearity (R2 ≥ 0.9995), the limit of detections (LODs) < 0.6 pg/g, and the recoveries ranged from 82.8 % to 106 % with relative standard deviations ≤ 6.6 %. This method is thus better than previously reported methods in terms of the LOD, the adsorbent dosage, and the extraction time.

Abstract
Scarring, naturally induced by fibroblasts(Fb) during wound healing, is an essential process in response to repair damaged tissue. Excessive Fb proliferation which produces the excessive collagen deposition, including increased extracellular matrix synthesis or insufficient decomposition, typically contributes to hypertrophic scar(HS) formation. Although exact mechanisms of HS are not yet fully understood, it is generally believed that dysfunction of Fb and regulation of signal pathways play an important role in HS formation. Biologically, Fb function is affected by various factors such as cytokines, extracellular matrix and itself. In addition, modifications of miRNA, ceRNA, lncRNA, peptides and histones participate in HS formation by affecting the biological function of Fb. Despite the clinical importance, very few therapeutic modalities are available to prevent HS. To achieve this, a deeper characterization of Fb is required to identify mechanisms of HS. To the aspect of HS prevention and treatment, we review recent findings, concentrating on Fb function and collagen secretion. The objective of this article is to frame the current understanding, gain the deeper insights into Fb function, and provide the more comprehensive cognition and perspective for prevention and treatment of HS.

Abstract
Proliferative vitreoretinopathy (PVR) is an avascular fibroproliferative disease that occurs in the retina. The main pathological changes are the proliferation and traction of retinal pigment epithelial cells (RPE) and glial cells on the vitreous and retina. Basic research has confirmed that the formation of PVR is related to multiple signaling pathways, including NK-κB signaling pathway, MAPK and its downstream signaling pathways, JAK/STAT signaling pathway, PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, thrombin and its receptor pathway, TGF-β and downstream signaling pathway, North signaling pathway and Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, etc. This review summarizes the research progress of the main signaling pathways in the formation mechanism of PVR, and provides the basis and support for the research of PVR drug therapy.

Abstract
A new strategy has been developed to fabricate a bovine haemoglobin surface-imprinted core-shell nanocomposite adsorbent, demonstrating superparamagnetism via emulsion-free and sol-gel techniques. The obtained magnetic surface-imprinted polymers (MSIPs) possess a porous core-shell nanocomposite structure with a remarkable imprinted recognition ability for template protein in aqueous medium. The MSIPs display higher affinity, adsorption efficiency and selectivity, for template protein compared to the non-target protein. The morphology, adsorption, and recognition properties of the MSIPs have been evaluated by using several characterisation techniques, such as scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The results show the average diameter of MSIPs ranging between 400 and 600 nm with a saturation magnetization value of 52.6 emu/g and adsorption capacity of 43.75 mg/g. And because the obtained MSIPs possessed easily accessible recognition sites and performed fast kinetics for template immobilization, it could achieve equilibrium within 60 min. All this revealed the potential application of this approach as an alternative methodology for the generation of protein imprinted biomaterials.

Abstract
Bacteria-infected skin wounds caused by external injuries remain a serious challenge to the whole society. Wound healing dressings, with excellent antibacterial activities and potent regeneration capability, are increasingly needed clinically. Here, we reported a novel functional microneedle (MN) array comprising methacrylated hyaluronic acid (MeHA) embedded with pH-responsive functionalized zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 (ZIF-8) nanoparticles to treat bacteria-infected cutaneous wounds. Antibacterial activity was introduced into Zn-ZIF-8 to achieve sterilization through releasing Zn ions, as well as increased angiogenesis by dimethyloxalylglycine (DMOG) molecules that were distributed within its framework. Furthermore, biodegradable MeHA was chosen as a substrate material carrier to fabricate DMOG@ZIF-8 MN arrays. By such design, DMOG@ZIF-8 MN arrays would not only exhibit excellent antibacterial activity against pathogenic bacteria but also enhance angiogenesis within wound bed by upregulating the expression of HIF-1α, leading to a significant therapeutic efficiency on bacteria-infected cutaneous wound healing. Based on these results, we conclude that this new treatment strategy can provide a promising alternative for accelerating infected wound healing via effective antibacterial activity and ameliorative angiogenesis.

Abstract
Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is a common complication of pregnancy, affecting 14% of pregnancies worldwide, and the prevention of pathological hyperglycaemia during pregnancy is meaningful for global public health. The role of iron supplementation in the progression of GDM has been of significant interest in recent years. Iron is a micronutrient that is vital during pregnancy; however, given the toxic properties of excess iron, it is probable that prophylactic iron supplementation will increase the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, including GDM. It is critical to clarify the effect of iron supplementation on the risk of GDM. Therefore, in this review, we comprehensively assess the role of iron in pregnancy. This review aimed to analyse the necessity of iron supplementation and maintenance of iron homeostasis during pregnancy, particularly reviewing the role and function of iron in beta cells and examining the mechanisms of excess iron contributing to the pathogenesis of GDM. Moreover, we aimed to discuss the association of haemoglobin and ferritin with GDM and identify priority areas for research.

Abstract
The number of people suffering from age-related macular degeneration (AMD) in China is increasing year by year, so it is particularly necessary to find a feasible approach to prevent AMD. Related studies have shown that the preventive effect of exercise on AMD may be associated with the change of factors affecting neovascularization, inhibiting systemic inflammatory response, reducing oxidative stress and affecting microvascular endothelial function. However, further basic research evidence is yet to be explored at present. This review summarizes and analyzes the effects of exercise on AMD and the above-mentioned potential mechanisms in order to improve the understanding of the correlation between physical exercise and AMD and to provide the basis for further basic and clinical studies.

[Inter-laboratory comparison analysis of noise measurement in 91 occupational hygiene technical service organizations]. Abstract
Objective: To understand the comparability of noise measurement results of various occupational hygiene technical service organizations in Guangdong Province by conducting inter-laboratory comparison of measuring instruments and personnel operation. Methods: In October 2020, the instrument comparison and personnel comparison among 91 occupational hygiene technical service organizations engaged in noise measurement in Guangdong Province were carried out in the form of fixed-point measurement and simulated workplace measurement, and the results were analyzed and evaluated by using the robust z-ratio score. Results: In the instrument comparison, 6 organizations had 1 or 2 outliers in their z-ratio scores, 2 organizations had 2 problematic values in their z-ratio scores, and a total of 8 organizations (accounting for 8.8%) were judged as unqualified; A total of 83 organizations (accounting for 91.2%) with satisfactory z-ratio scores or only one problematic value were judged as qualified. In the personnel comparison, there were 11 organizations with 1 or 2 outliers in the z-ratio score, and 1 organization with 2 problematic values in the z-ratio score. A total of 12 organizations (13.2%) were judged as unqualified and 79 organizations (accounting for 86.8%) with satisfactory z-ratio scores or only one problematic value were judged as qualified. Through comprehensive judgment, 20 organizations (22.0%) were judged as unqualified, and 71 organizations (78.0%) were judged as qualified. There was no statistically significant difference in the qualified rates of instrument comparison results, personnel comparison results and comprehensive evaluation results of non-private organizations and private organizations (P>0.05). There was no significant difference in the qualified rates of instrument comparison results and comprehensive evaluation results of qualified organizations and unqualified organizations (P>0.05), there was significant difference in the qualified rate of personnel comparison results (P<0.05) . Conclusion: The noise measurement results of some occupational health technical service organizations in Guangdong Province are generally comparable. To carry out inter-laboratory comparison of noise instrument performance and personnel operation ability of occupational hygiene technical service organizations, can comprehensively evaluate the testing process of each organization and find out the problems existing in each organization.

Abstract
Uveal melanoma, as the most common intraocular malignant tumor in adults, has poor overall survival after metastasis. In recent years, next-generation sequencing technology has been increaingly applied in studying the genetic characteristics of diseases. From the perspectives of genome, epigenome, and transcriptome, this review summed up the genomics mutation, epigenomics regulation mechanism, and immune transcriptomic profiling of uveal melanoma in the context of next-generation sequencing technologies, especially chromosome copy number variation, gene mutation and DNA methylation.

Abstract
Isotemporal substitution model is a powerful tool to explore the real association between physical behavior and health outcomes, which has the potential of the application in large-scale cohort study. This paper systematically introduces the principle of isotemporal substitution model and its implementation method in specific analysis to provide analytical ideas for the epidemiological research related to physical behavior in China. The baseline data of Regional Ethic Cohort Study in Northwest China conducted in Shaanxi province were used to analyze the relationship between physical behavior and cardiovascular disease with single-factor model, partition model and isotemporal substitution model. The advantages and disadvantages of different models were compared, and the advantages of isotemporal substitution model in quantifying physical activity health risk were introduced. Isotemporal substitution model could qualify physical behavior and health outcomes, which has wide application value in epidemiological research.

Background
The index of microvascular resistance (IMR) is an established measurement of coronary microcirculation status. However, it has not been widely incorporated into routine practice due to need for intracoronary instrumentation (pressure wire) and hyperaemic agents. Several angiography-derived quantitative flow ratio-based indexes of microvascular resistance (angio-IMR) have been proposed rekindling the interest for the assessment and management of microvascular disease.
Purpose
To review the overall diagnostic accuracy of angio-IMR against wire based IMR.
Methods
A systematic review of the literature was performed and studies comparing angio-IMR with wire based IMR were included. Individual data was extracted using semi-automatic digitalization. Correlation of angio-IMR with IMR and its diagnostic performance against IMR were analysed.
Results
Six studies directly comparing angio-IMR with IMR were included. Data extraction rate was 85.1% (582/684 vessels). There was a linear correlation between angio-IMR and IMR (β=0.483, R square=0.298) (Figure 1A). Pooled sensitivity was 77%, specificity was 66%, positive predictive value was 65%, negative predictive value was 78%, and accuracy was 71.0%. Pooled area under receiver operator curve of angio-IMR for predicting IMR diagnosed coronary microvascular disease was 0.754 (95% confidential interval 0.715 to 0.793) (Figure 1B). Similar diagnostic performance was observed in subgroups of patients with or without ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
Conclusions
Currently available angio-IMR showed a clearly useful discrimination and diagnostic performance against the standard of wire based IMR.

Abstract
Abstract
There is a great need for small diameter vascular grafts among patients with cardiovascular diseases annually. However, continuous foreign body reactions and fibrosis capsules brought by biomaterials are both prone to poor vascular tissue regeneration. To address this problem, we fabricated a polycaprolactone (PCL) vascular graft incorporated with quercetin (PCL/QCT graft) in this study. In vitro cell assay showed that quercetin reduced the expressions of pro-inflammatory genes of macrophages while increased the expressions of anti-inflammatory genes. Furthermore, in vivo implantation was performed in a rat abdominal aorta replacement model. Upon implantation, the grafts exhibited sustained quercetin release and effectively enhanced the regeneration of vascular tissue. The results revealed that quercetin improved endothelial layer formation along the lumen of the vascular grafts at 4 weeks. Furthermore, the thickness of vascular smooth muscle layers significantly increased in PCL/QCT group compared with PCL group. More importantly, the presence of quercetin stimulated the infiltration of a large amount of M2 phenotype macrophages into the grafts. Collectively, the above data reinforced our hypothesis that the incorporation of quercetin may be in favor of modulating the inflammatory microenvironment and improving vascular tissue regeneration and remodeling in vascular grafts.

Abstract
Various theories beyond the standard model predict new interactions mediated by new light particles with very weak couplings to ordinary matter. Interactions between polarized electrons and unpolarized nucleons proportional to g_{V}^{N}g_{A}^{e}σ[over →]·v[over →] and g_{A}^{N}g_{A}^{e}σ[over →]·v[over →]×r[over →] are two such examples, where σ[over →] is the spin of the electrons, r[over →] and v[over →] are position and relative velocity between the polarized electrons and nucleons, g_{V}^{N}/g_{A}^{N} is the vector or axial-vector coupling constant of the nucleon, and g_{A}^{e} is the axial-vector coupling constant of the electron. Such interactions involving a vector or axial-vector coupling g_{V}^{N}/g_{A}^{N} at one vertex and an axial-vector coupling g_{A}^{e} at the polarized electron vertex can be induced by the exchange of spin-1 bosons. We report new experimental upper limits on such exotic spin-velocity-dependent interactions of the electron with nucleons from dedicated experiments based on a recently proposed scheme. We rotationally modulated two ∼6 Kg source masses at a frequency of 20 Hz. We used four identical atomic magnetometers in an array form to increase the statistics and cancel the common-mode noise. We applied a data processing method based on high precision numerical integration for the four harmonic frequencies of the signal. We reverse the rotation direction of the source masses to flip the signal due to the new interactions; thus, we can apply the [+1,-3,+3,-1] weighting method to remove possible slow drifting. Our constraint on the product of vector and axial-vector couplings is |g_{V}^{N}g_{A}^{e}|<2.1×10^{-34} and on the product of axial-vector and axial-vector couplings is |g_{A}^{N}g_{A}^{e}|<2.4×10^{-22} for an interaction range of 10 m. The new constraints on vector-axial-vector interaction improved by as much as more than 4 orders of magnitude and on axial-axial interaction by as much as 2 orders of magnitude in the corresponding interaction range, respectively.

Abstract
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) posed a serious threat to food safety and human health due to long-term emission. In this work, a new method was established using phloroglucinol-urotropine porous polymer (PU-PP) in a pipette tip for solid phase extraction (PT-SPE) for the first time and used prior to determination of four PAHs (phenanthrene, anthracene, fluoranthene, and pyrene) in lotus roots. Synthesis of the PU-PP adsorbent was green compared with alternatives; urotropine was used as a cross-linker and ethanol-water as the solvent. PU-PP-based PT-SPE had the advantages of low solvent consumption, good purification, practicability, stability, and low-cost. The proposed pre-purification method offered low limits of detection (0.09-0.28 ng/g) and good recoveries (84.6-114.3 %, RSDs ≤ 5.6 %) for determination of the four PAHs, which were detected at trace concentrations in samples. This new method provides an alternative for monitoring trace pollutants in aquatic plant ingredients.
