Abstract
Patients and healthcare systems stand to gain much from the use of substances that can accelerate wound healing. In this research work, a polymeric patch was fabricated using polymers like poly (vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and Moringa oleifera gum (MO) incorporated with graphene oxide (GO) and naringin (Nar) (drug). This study determined the impact of using PVA/MO/GO/Nar polymeric patch on wound healing via in vitro and in vivo investigations. Graphene oxide was synthesized by modified Hummer's method. The synthesized sample was characterized using XRD, FT-IR, RAMAN Spectroscopy, FESEM and HRTEM. Antibacterial analysis of the GO on four different bacteria was studied through well diffusion, colony count, growth curve and biofilm assay. Biocompatibility was analysed by haemolysis assay. The morphology, antibacterial activity, haemolysis assay, swelling, degradation, porosity, water vapour transmission rate, drug release, blood pump model, in-vitro scratch assay and MTT assay were analysed for the fabricated polymeric patches under in-vitro condition. The PVA/MO/GO/Nar patch has shown enhanced wound healing in in-vivo wound healing experiments on albino Wistar rats.

Abstract
Smart cities and the Internet of Things have enabled the integration of communicating devices for efficient decision-making. Notably, traffic congestion is one major problem faced by daily commuters in urban cities. In developed countries, specialized sensors are deployed to gather traffic information to predict traffic patterns. Any traffic updates are shared with the commuters via the Internet. Such solutions become impracticable when physical infrastructure and Internet connectivity are either non-existent or very limited. In case of developing countries, no roadside units are available and Internet connectivity is still an issue in remote areas. Internet traffic analysis is a thriving field of study due to the myriad ways in which it may be put to practical use. In the intelligent Internet-of-Vehicles (IOVs), traffic congestion can be predicted and identified using cutting-edge technologies. Using tree-based decision-tree, random-forest, extra-tree, and XGBoost machine learning (ML) strategies, this research proposes an intelligent-transport-system for the IOVs-based vehicular network traffic in a smart city set-up. The suggested system uses ensemble learning and averages the selection of crucial features to give high detection accuracy at minimal computational costs, as demonstrated by the simulation results. For IOV-based vehicular network traffic, the tree-based ML approaches with feature-selection (FS) outperformed those without FS. When contrasted to the lowest KNN accuracy of 96.6% and the highest SVM accuracy of 98.01%, the Stacking approach demonstrates superior accuracy as 99.05%.

Abstract
Hemorrhage stands out as a leading factor contributing to fatalities in trauma cases. Hemorrhage is associated with the process of hemostasis. Hemostasis is the primary stage of wound healing. Hydrogels can aid in hemostasis and minimize the duration of wound healing. Calcium is one of the clotting factors and is a key component for the activation of the coagulation cascade. In this work, we have developed a polymeric hydrogel matrix made up of κ-carrageenan and sodium alginate containing a calcium silica nanocomposite and a natural drug, namely the bark of L. coromandelica. The nanocomposite was characterized using various modalities such as XRD, FTIR, FESEM and HRTEM. The rheological and morphological properties of the pure and composite hydrogels were examined. The antimicrobial activity, hemocompatibility and hemostatic efficacy of the materials were studied using various in vitro assays including bacterial growth curve analysis, colony counting, anti-biofilm assay, hemolysis assay and in vivo clotting studies. The drug incorporated nanocomposite hydrogel exhibited superior activity in animal models.

Abstract
An open wound or sore on the bottom of the foot caused by diabetes is known as a diabetic foot ulcer. Preventive measures are essential, including consistent foot care and glycemic management. The dangers associated with diabetic foot ulcers can be reduced via early identification and timely treatment. The risk of foot ulcers and limb amputation increases with age and duration of diabetes. Quercetin contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Furthermore, the calcium carbonate/silica (CaCO3/SiO2) nanocomposite has a good anti-inflammatory property due to the presence of calcium, which will aid in wound healing. As a result, combining quercetin (plant based anti-inflammatory drug) and CaCO3/SiO2 nanocomposite will boost the wound healing rate. We have synthesized CaCO3/SiO2 nanocomposite in sol-gel method and characterized using XRD, FTIR and TEM. Cell line tests and the MTT assay revealed that the PLGA/gelatin/CaCO3/SiO2/quercetin patch enhanced the proliferation of cells. Its anti-bacterial efficacy against four major bacterial strains often found in wound locations, as well as its water retention, make it an ideal material for diabetic wound healing. In-vivo trials confirms the enhanced diabetic wound healing potential of the patch.

Abstract
Sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJDF) is about 15% to 30% identified in a patient with low back aches. This Study aimed to determine the effect of mulligan mobilization versus muscle energy technique on sacroiliac joint dysfunction. The study was a randomized controlled trial that involved 66 participants with SIJDF, after a thorough evaluation the participants were divided into three groups. In experimental group I (Mulligan's mobilization group (MMG)), participants underwent Mulligan mobilization for 20 minutes. The experimental group II (Muscle energy group (MEG)) participants underwent the muscle energy technique for 20 minutes, and the third group underwent moist heat therapy (moist heat group (MHG)) for 20 minutes. For all three groups, 10 minutes of exercise were taught to the patients. All the participants of the groups were included based on pre-determined selection criteria, and all were willing to participate in the Study. The outcome measures of Pain, functional disability, and kinesiophobia were measured by the Numerical pain scale, Oswestry disability index, and Tampa scale respectively. The result was computed using One-way ANOVA, showing significant differences between the three groups. When significant differences were obtained on ANOVA, further analysis was done using a post hoc test. The values for the outcomes are Pain was compared with MMG vs. MEG is 8.045 and the MMG vs. MHG is 4.022 and MMG vs. MEG is 12.07, on Oswestry disability index MEG vs. MHG 9.85, MMG vs. MHG is 2.23 and MMG vs. MEG is 12.08. For kinesiophobia, MMG vs. MEG is 20.25, MMG vs. MHG is 15.35, and MMG vs. MEG is 35.60. This Study concludes that Mulligan's mobilization is more effective in reducing pain, improving function, and kinesiophobia in SI joint dysfunction than the other two groups.

Abstract
Owing to the unique 4f-5d transitions and the involvement of 5d electrons, the divalent europium (Eu2+) ion is extensively used as a dopant ion in luminescent materials for phosphor-converted light emitting diodes (pc-LEDs) and other technological applications. Earlier reports in most of the cases have shown that the reduction of Eu3+ to Eu2+ requires very high temperatures and large hydrogen flux. In this study, a co-doping strategy with higher valent U6+ ions was utilized to successfully stabilize Eu2+ ions in the Li2B4O7 (LTB) host with both the BO3 and BO4 network in low H2 flux of only 8%. It is postulated that charge transfer occurs from U to Eu, resulting in the reduction of the charged state of Eu and the reaction probably proceeds via the formation of paramagnetic transient [U5+-Eu3+] species in the co-doped LTB. The same is also believed to be facilitated by the enhanced formation of Li-O type vacancy clusters in co-doped samples and enhanced oxygen vacancies in a reducing atmosphere. We believe this work will pave a new pathway for stabilizing the unusual oxidation state of lanthanides and transition metal ions through co-doping with hexavalent uranium ions.

Abstract
The free convective flow of a Co-ferroparticle suspended nanofluid in a tilted square enclosure with various thermal boundaries including heat generating body is numerically investigated. A heat generating solid body is placed at the centre of the enclosure to study the effective rate
of heat transfer. The comprehensive analysis of the results suggests that the angle of inclination and addition of ferro particle have a considerable influence on the flow and heat transfer behaviour. The results are presented in the form of streamlines, isotherms and average Nusselt number
for the effect of inclination angle (0° ≤ Φ ≤ 90°), Rayleigh number (104 ≤ Ra ≤ 106) and solid volume fraction (Φ = 0.02, 0.1 and 0.2). Based on this investigation. It can be found that augmentation in Rayleigh number
increases the strength of the circular eddy due to induced buoyancy forces. Increase in size of the solid body suppresses the heat transfer effect. Also the temperature gradient show moderate nature until 45° angle of inclination and show the declination after 45°.

Abstract
Modern lubrication systems are increasingly deploying smart (functional) materials. These respond to various external stimuli including electrical and magnetic fields, acoustics, light etc. Motivated by such developments, in the present article unsteady electro-magnetohydrodynamics squeezing flow and heat transfer in a smart ionic viscous fluid intercalated between parallel plates with zeta potential effects is examined. The proposed mathematical model of problem is formulated as a system of partial differential equations (continuity, momenta and energy). Viscous dissipation and variable thermal conductivity effects are included. Axial electrical distribution is also addressed. The governing equations are converted into ordinary differential equations via similarity transformations and then solved numerically with MATLAB software. The transport phenomena are scrutinized for both when the plates move apart or when they approach each other. Also, the impact of different parameters such squeezing number, variable thermal conductivity parameter, Prandtl number, Hartmann number, Eckert number, zeta potential parameter, electric field parameter and electroosmosis parameter on the axial velocity and fluid temperature are analysed. For varied intensities of applied plate motion, the electro-viscous effects derived from electric double-capacity flow field distortions are thoroughly studied. It has been shown that the results from the current model differ significantly from those achieved by using a standard Poisson-Boltzmann equation model. Axial velocity acceleration is induced with negative squeeze number (plates approaching,S< 0) in comparison to that of positive squeeze number (plates separating,S> 0). Velocity enhances with increasing electroosmosis parameter and zeta potential parameter. With rising values of zeta potential and electroosmosis parameter, there is a decrease in temperatures forUe> 0 for both approaching i.e. squeezing plates (S< 0) and separating (S> 0) cases. The simulations provide novel insights into smart squeezing lubrication with thermal effects and also a solid benchmark for further computational fluid dynamics investigations.

Abstract
Developing countries are increasingly concerned with pollution due to toxic heavy metals in the environment. Unlike most organic pollutants which can be destroyed, toxic metal ions released into the environment often persist indefinitely circulating and eventually accumulating throughout the food chain thus posing a serious threat to mankind. The use of biological materials for heavy metal removal or recovery has gained importance in recent years due to their good performance and low cost. Among the various sources, both live and inactivated biomass of organisms exhibits interesting metal binding capacities. Their complex cell walls contain high content of functional groups like amino, amide, hydroxyl, carboxyl, and phosphate which have been implicated in metals binding. In the present study, Aspergillus niger was used to analyze the metal uptake from an aqueous solution. The determination of Cu+2, Pb+2, Cd+2, Zn+2, Co-2 and Ni+2 in samples was carried out by differential Pulse Anodic Voltammetry (DPASV) and the Voltammograms. Production of oxalic acid was carried out by submerged fermentation. The organism used in the present study has the ideal properties to sequester toxic metals and grow faster.

Abstract
Wound healing is a multi-stage process that is dynamic, interactive, and complicated. However, many nanomaterials are employed to expedite wound healing by demonstrating antibacterial activity or boosting cell proliferation. But only one phase is focused during the wound healing process. As a result, there is a need for optimum wound dressing materials that promotes different wound healing cascades with ideal properties. Herein, Graphene Oxide loaded with vanadium (V) doped titanium dioxide (TiO2) blended with chitosan, and polyvinyl alcohol (CS/PVA/GO/TiO2-V) patch was developed for wound healing. XRD, FTIR and FE-SEM analyses were carried out to study the morphology and structural property of the patch. The fabricated patch has a high surface porosity, excellent moisture vapor transfer rate, appropriate swelling behaviour, and oxygen permeability, which results in an excellent moist environment for wound breathing and effective management of wound exudates. The antibacterial test showed significant antibacterial efficacy against wound infections in the presence of light when compared to dark. In-vitro analysis such as hemocompatibility, cytotoxicity, cell adhesion, and scratch assay show the predicted potential wound healing application with high biocompatibility. These results suggest that CS/PVA/GO/TiO2-V patch provides a microenvironment favourable to cells' growth and differentiation and positively modulates full-thickness wounds' healing.

Abstract
The synergistic photoelectrochemical (PEC) technology is a robust process for the conversion of CO2 into fuels. However, designing a highly efficient UV-visible driven photoelectrocatalyst is still challenging. Herein, a plasmonic Ag NPs modified TiO2/RGO photoelectrocatalyst (Ag-TiO2/RGO) has been designed for the PEC CO2 reduction into selective production of CH3OH. HR-TEM analysis revealed that Ag and TiO2 NPs with average sizes of 4 and 7 nm, respectively, were densely grown on the few-micron-sized 2D RGO nanosheets. The physicochemical analysis was used to determine the optical and textural properties of the Ag-TiO2/RGO nanohybrids. Under VU-Vis light illumination, Ag-TiO2/RGO photocathode possessed a current density of 23.5 mA cm-2 and a lower electrode resistance value of 125 Ω in CO2-saturated 1.0 M KOH-aqueous electrolyte solution. Catalytic studies showed that the Ag-TiO2/RGO photocathode possessed a remarkable PEC CO2 reduction activity and selective production of CH3OH with a yield of 85 μmol L-1 cm-2, the quantum efficiency of 20% and Faradic efficiency of 60.5% at onset potential of -0.7 V. A plausible PEC CO2 reduction mechanism over Ag-TiO2/RGO photocathode is schematically demonstrated. The present work gives a new avenue to develop high-performance and stable photoelectrocatalyst for PEC CO2 reduction towards sustainable liquid fuels production.

Introduction and Aim: Sacroiliac (SI) joint is considered as one of the pain generators in students. Sacroiliac joint dysfunction is one of the common sources of low back pain, and many times the SI joint dysfunction mis-lead as the lumbar problem. Students who sit for longer duration cause stress in the sacroiliac joint. So, this study intended to investigate the prevalence and the contributing risk factors amongst students’ population with work-related musculoskeletal problems and also to identify the percentage of SI joint involvement in them.Materials and Methods: The study was conducted with 590 students from a private paramedical college, involving full time college students, with age group of 17-27 years, no recent falls or those not on current medications related to any musculoskeletal problems, and students without any congenital problems. Evaluation was done using Nordic musculoskeletal questionnaire along with a self-developed demographic questionnaire. The involved students were assessed using questionnaire and sacroiliac joint tests to identify the SI Joint dysfunction. Provocation tests included i) Sacroiliac joint distraction test, ii) SI Compression test iii) Thigh thrust test iv) Faber’s test and v) Gaenslen’s Test. Inference considered was presence of pain in more than 3 test indicates Sacroiliac joint involvement. On completion of assessment, a thank you card was given to all the volunteer students participated in the study. The collected data was filled and analyzed.Results: The study results showed that students with lower back pain also had complaints of neck pain. It was also noted that about 30% of the individuals were positive to the sacroiliac joint tests, among them 93 participants complained of low back pain.Conclusion: This study concluded that 61% of individuals were suffering with musculoskeletal disorders in the selected population. Around 30% of the low back pain participants complained of sacroiliac joint dysfunctions.

Abstract
Mathematical and epidemiological simulation plays a pivotal role in predicting, anticipating, and controlling present and future epidemics. To better understand and model the dynamics of a specific infection, researchers need to consider the influence of many variables ranging from micro-host-pathogen interactions to host-to-host encounters, and the prevailing cultural, social, economic, and local customs worldwide. As reported by the WHO, a novel corona virus (COVID-19) is identified as the etiological virus through Wuhan pneumonia for unknown etiology with Chinese administration on Jan 7, 2020. This virus is designated as an unsympathetic SARS-Cov-2 by International Commission for Taxonomy of Viruses on Feb 11, 2020. Abstract
Ultrasound-triggered drug-loaded microbubbles have great potential for drug delivery due to their ability to locally release drugs and simultaneously enhance their delivery into the target tissue. We have recently shown that upon applying ultrasound, nanoparticle-loaded microbubbles can deposit nanoparticles onto cells grown in 2D monolayers, through a process that we termed "sonoprinting". However, the rigid surfaces on which cell monolayers are typically growing might be a source of acoustic reflections and aspherical microbubble oscillations, which can influence microbubble-cell interactions. In the present study, we aim to reveal whether sonoprinting can also occur in more complex and physiologically relevant tissues, by using free-floating 3D tumor spheroids as a tissue model. We show that both monospheroids (consisting of tumor cells alone) and cospheroids (consisting of tumor cells and fibroblasts, which produce an extracellular matrix) can be sonoprinted. Using doxorubicin-liposome-loaded microbubbles, we show that sonoprinting allows to deposit large amounts of doxorubicin-containing liposomes to the outer cell layers of the spheroids, followed by doxorubicin release into the deeper layers of the spheroids, resulting in a significant reduction in cell viability. Sonoprinting may become an attractive approach to deposit drug patches at the surface of tissues, thereby promoting the delivery of drugs into target tissues.

Abstract
Wound healing is a common issue in our day to day life. Our immune system repairs the damaged tissue by itself and its a time-consuming process. The GO/CuO nanocomposite (NC) was synthesized through the sol-gel method. XRD, FT-IR, Raman, and TEM analysis were used to analysis the physico-chemical properties of the sample. The GO/CuO patches were prepared using chitosan (Cs)/poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) due to its biocompatibility and biodegradable nature. The obtained patches showed better antimicrobial and wound healing property than recently reported materials. The GO/CuO NC plays a major part in angiogenesis process and in the synthesis, stabilization of extracellular matrix skin proteins. Thus, GO/CuO NC enhance the wound healing mechanism by increasing cell proliferation, antimicrobial property and rapid initiation of inflammatory. Moreover, the antimicrobial activity of CuO, GO, GO/CuO and GO/CuO patch were tested against bacteria causing wound infections. Cs/PVA patch and Cs/PVA/GO/CuO patch were analyzed for swelling, evaporation and degradation behavior. Increase in cell viability and migration of NIH3t3 cells by NC patch shows a potential way for wound healing applications.

Abstract
Wound healing is a complex multistep process. Wound healing materials should have good antibacterial activity against wound infection causing microbes. Curcumin has effective antimicrobial activity, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant property. Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a biocompatible, nontoxic material used for many biomedical applications. The Usage of curcumin tagged TiO2 nanoparticles for wound healing activity is promising due to the properties of both curcumin and TiO2. We have synthesized curcumin tagged TiO2 nanoparticles. The synthesized materials are characterized with XRD, FTIR and TEM. TiO2-Cur nanocomposite was incorporated into poly vinyl alcohol (PVA) and sodium alginate (SA) patch. The PVA/SA/TiO2-Cur patch was prepared by gel casting method. Antibacterial efficiency of PVA/SA/TiO2-Cur patch was analyzed. Further, in vivo studies conducted on Wister rats confirmed the enhanced wound healing property of the PVA/SA/TiO2-Cur patch. Our results suggest that this could be an ideal biomaterial for wound dressing applications.

Abstract
Background:
Consumption of unhealthy processed foods viz., refined wheat flour based
bakery products such as biscuits, muffins, etc. is a key causative factor underlying nutrition transition
giving rise to overweight and obesity. The underutilized coarse grain, proso millet (Panicum miliaceum)
can find potential application in bakery products.
Objective:
The objective of the present study was to prepare healthy muffins by partial replacement of
refined flour with Proso Millet Flour (PMF), Carrot Preserve (CP) and Beetroot Preserve (BP).
Methods:
Standardized methods were used to analyze the products for nutritional composition, antioxidant
activity and sensory properties.
Results:
Results showed that the protein and dietary fiber contents of products ranged from 5.49-
5.95g and 3.60-4.15g/100g respectively. Total phenolic content was high in aqueous extract of muffin
with PMF+BP i.e. 125±1.41mg tannic acid equivalent/100g. β-carotene content was high in muffin
with PMF+CP (155±3.5µg/100g). Antioxidant activity determined by four methods showed that
products with PMF+CP and PMF+BP had higher activity compared to control samples. The sensory
quality of muffin was unaffected by the incorporation PMF, having scores equal to control muffins.
Conclusion:
To conclude PMF, CP and BP can be used as functional food ingredients in bakery
products to improve the nutritional quality without affecting sensorial palatability.

Abstract
Drought is one of the most serious environmental factors limiting production of sugarcane worldwide. In order to assess the influence of gibberellins (GA3 ) on drought and plant growth, along with associated physio-biochemical attributes, expression of eight drought-responsive genes were quantified and analysed. At grand growth stage (120 DAP) two sugarcane varieties (CoLk94184, CoPK05191) were exposed to drought by withholding irrigation. GA3 (35 ppm) was applied using battery-operated uniform controlled dispensing sprayer twice at 1-week intervals on 2-week drought-stressed plants. Physio-biochemical attributes including antioxidant enzyme activities were estimated following standard protocols. RT-PCR was performed to visualise the drought-associated gene expression patterns. Drought triggered a reduction in RWC and chlorophyll content but these recovered when droughted plants were exposed to GA3 . Proline content increased many fold in both varieties under stress, but decreased under the influence of GA3 . There was a mixed response of antioxidant enzyme activity, which distinctly declined after GA3 exposure, together with a lesser reduction in dry matter content over that of control plants. With increasing stress, expression of pyrroline-5-carboxylase synthetase (P5CS) and betaine-aldehyde dehydrogenase genes was observed, selectively up-regulated in CoPK05191. Expression of proline oxidase/transporter was high in CoPK05191 but diminished along with proline content after exposure to GA3. CoLk94184 showed no significant difference in P5CS gene expression under stress condition, whereas expression of betaine-aldehyde dehydrogenase gene was unchanged in response to stress. Results demonstrated that exposure of droughted plants to GA3 not only led to recovery of activity of drought-associated physio-biochemical attributes, but also minimised impact on cane dry weight and quality. Further, GA3 application caused differential gene expression that possibly triggers increased responsiveness towards drought tolerance in sugarcane.

Abstract
PURPOSE We assessed the pattern of relapse as well as the correlation between the number of casts required for correction and Pirani and Dimeglio scores at presentation, and age at presentation. We hypothesized that the Ponseti method would be effective in treatment of relapsed clubfoot as well. METHODS We evaluated 115 idiopathic clubfeet in 79 children presenting with relapse following treatment by the Ponseti method. The mean age was 33.8 months with mean follow-up of 24 months. All patients were assessed for various patterns of relapsed deformities. Quantification of deformities was done using the Pirani and Dimeglio scores. All relapsed feet were treated by a repeat Ponseti protocol. RESULTS Non-compliance to a foot abduction brace was observed to be the main contributing factor in relapse, in 99 clubfeet (86%). Combination of three static deformities (equinus, varus and adduction) together was observed most commonly (38.3% feet). Overall, relapse of equinus deformity was noted most commonly followed by adduction. A painless plantigrade foot was obtained in all 115 feet with a mean of five casts. In all, 71 feet (61.7%) underwent percutaneous tenotomy. A total of 15 feet (13%) required tibialis anterior tendon transfer. Re-relapse rate in group 1 was 21% compared with 12.6% in group 2 and overall 16.5%. CONCLUSION We conclude that the Ponseti method is effective and the preferred initial treatment modality for relapsed clubfeet. Surgical intervention should be reserved for residual deformity only after a fair trial of Ponseti cast treatment. Regular follow-up and strict adherence to brace protocol may reduce future relapse rates. Further research is required to identify high-risk feet and develop individualized bracing protocol. Abstract
A numerical simulation is presented to study the heat and flow characteristics of blood flow altered by electroosmosis through the tapered micro-vessels. Blood is assumed as non-Newtonian (micropolar) nanofluids. The flow regime is considered as asymmetric diverging (tapered) microchannel for more realistic micro-vessels which is produced by choosing the peristaltic wave train on the walls to have different amplitudes and phase. The Rosseland approximation is employed to model the radiation heat transfer and temperatures of the walls are presumed constants. The mathematical formulation of the present problem is simplified under the long-wavelength, low-Reynolds number and Debye-Hückel linearization approximations. The influence of various dominant physical parameters are discussed for axial velocity, microrotation distribution, thermal temperature distribution and nanoparticle volume fraction field. However, our foremost emphasis is to determine the effects of thermal radiation and coupling number on the axial velocity and microrotation distribution beneath electroosmotic environment. This analysis places a significant observation on the thermal radiation and coupling number which plays an influential role in hearten fluid velocity. This study is encouraged by exploring the nanofluid-dynamics in peristaltic transport as symbolized by heat transport in biological flows and also in novel pharmacodynamics pumps and gastro-intestinal motility enhancement.

Abstract
In this work, the authors have designed and implemented predictor-corrector approach based control schemes for a single input-single output nonlinear system. The controller output is computed in two steps. The first step explicitly uses a non-linear model or multiple-linear models weighted using fuzzy membership function to compute the value of the controller output. The second step is based on the measurement, where the value of the controller output computed in first step is updated. The extensive simulation studies show that the set-point tracking and disturbance rejection capability of the proposed control schemes are found to be satisfactory in the absence and presence of Model-plant mismatch. The performances of the proposed control schemes have been compared with that of a gain-scheduled PI controller. In addition, the control schemes are experimentally validated on the laboratory scale conical tank experimental setup.

Abstract
India is a country bestowed enormously with stingless bees, but genetic information about them is extremely minimal. This study focused to tap the geographic allocation, genetic variability, and differentiation among Tetragonula species complexes from natural and semi-urban habitats. Genetic analyses were assessed among 36 contrasting genotypes utilizing 20 ISSR primers. The dual combination exquisitely and productively amplified 245 DNA fragments at the loci, of which 240 bands were polymorphic (97.95%). Low to moderate level of genetic differentiation was detected from different estimators (Ht 0.29, G' STest 0.16, D est 0.072, F ST 0.14, and Nm 2.68). Hierarchical clustering analysis aided to partition the individual genotypes into its respective five species group formed, aided by substantial bootstrap support values, but differing under morphological identification. It also provided valuable insight into the moderate eco-genetic diversity (H 0.39) prevailing from geographically scattered inhabitants. Potential exploitation of hyper-variable ISSR marker turned out fairly as a promising technique for finding valid polymorphisms and infers relevant variations. This baseline information enhances our understanding of the genetic status of the indigenous species from the country.

Assertive community treatment (ACT) was developed in the early 1970s as a means of coordinating the care of people with severe mental illness in the community. A Cochrane review of the effectiveness of ACT for the general adult population found that people receiving ACT were more likely to engage with services, and were less likely to be admitted to hospital (Marshall & Lockwood, 2000). The National Service Framework for Mental Health (Department of Health, 1999) and the NHS Plan (Department of Health, 2000) called for a total of 220 assertive outreach teams by April 2003.

In this prospective study, all HIV-positive patients of both genders aged >18 years were screened for renal disease. Patients with proteinuria of more than 1 g/24 h were subjected to renal biopsy. A total of 293 HIV-positive patients were screened; of these, 136 (46.4%) patients found to have renal involvement. Dipstick-positive proteinuria of 1+ or more was observed in 112 (38.2%) patients, and 16 (14.2%) patients had proteinuria of more than 1 g/24 h. Renal biopsy in 14 cases revealed glomerulonephritis (GN) in 12 (85.7%) (isolated GN in 4 [28.5%] and GN mixed with chronic TIN in 8 [57.1%]) patients. These include mesangioproliferative GN in 5 (35.7%), membranoproliferative GN in 2 (14.2%), focal segmental glomerulosclerosis in 2 (14.2%), diffuse proliferative GN in 2 (14.2%), and diabetic nephropathy in 1 (7.1%) patients. Chronic interstitial nephritis was noted in 10 (71.42%) (superimposed on GN in 8 [57.1%], isolated in 2 [14.2%]) patients. Granulomatous interstitial nephritis was seen in 3 (24.1%) cases. GN and chronic interstitial nephritis were noted in 85.7% and 71.42% of patients, respectively, mostly superimposed on each other. Mesangioproliferative GN was the most common glomerular lesion, but classical HIV-associated nephropathy was not observed.

Abstract
The incidence of acute kidney injury in pregnancy (P-AKI) has declined significantly over the last three decades in developing countries. However, it is still associated with significant fetomaternal mortality and morbidity. The diagnosis of P-AKI is based on the serum creatinine increase. The usual formulas for estimating glomerular filtration rate (GFR) are not validated in this population. The incidence of P-AKI with respect to total AKI cases has decreased in the last three decades from 25% in 1980s to 9% in 2000s at our centre. During the first trimester of gestation, AKI develops most often due to septic abortion or hyperemesis gravidarum. Septic abortion related AKI with respect to total AKI decreased from 9% to 5% in our study. Prevention of unwanted pregnancy and avoidance of septic abortion are keys to eliminate abortion associated AKI in early pregnancy. However, we have not seen AKI on account of hyperemesis gravidarum over a period of 33 years at our center. In the third trimester, the differential diagnosis of AKI in association with pregnancy specific conditions namely preeclampsia/HELLP syndrome, acute fatty liver of pregnancy and thrombotic microangiopathies of pregnancy (P-TMA) is more challenging, because these 3 conditions share several clinical features of thrombotic microangiopathy which makes the diagnosis very difficult on clinical grounds. It is imperative to distinguish these conditions to make appropriate therapeutic decisions. Typically, AFLP and HELLP syndrome improve after delivery of the fetus, whereas plasma exchange is the first-line treatment for pregnancy associated thrombotic microangioathies (P-TMA). We observed that preclampsia/eclampsia is the most common cause of AKI in late third trimester and postpartum periods followed by puerperal sepsis and postpartum hemorrhage. Pregnancy-associated thrombotic microangiopathies (aHUS/TTP) and AFLP are rare causes of AKI during pregnancy in developing countries.

Abstract
The objective of the study was to determine the nutrient content, soluble and insoluble dietary fibre and in vitro protein and starch digestibility in four different microwave and pressure cooked rice ( Oryza sativa) varieties. The rice varieties selected were Bangara Tegalu (BT, nonaromatic), Gowri sanna(nonaromatic), Jeera (mildly flavoured) and Basmati (aromatic). These were washed and cooked by microwave and pressure cooking methods and analysed for moisture, protein, thiamin, fat, total ash, iron, phosphorus, calcium, starch, dietary fibre and in vitro protein and starch digestibilities along with their raw unwashed controls by using standard techniques. The protein content of raw and cooked rice varieties ranged from 7.5 to 11.6g/100g and 7.4–11.2g/100g, respectively. There was a significant difference ( p 0.05) in the protein content of two varieties of pressure and microwave cooked rice. The fat content of raw samples was 0.5–0.6g/100g. Cooking by both methods brought about a significant ( p 0.01) decrease (20–60%) in the fat content of samples. Between cooking methods there was no significant difference ( p 0.05). The thiamin content of raw rice varieties were between 0.16mg and 0.21mg/100g showing a significant decrease on cooking by 29–63% (pressure cooking) and 38–69% (microwave cooking). The iron content in raw samples ranged from 1.5 to 1.9mg/100g and decreased by 33–50% on cooking. The calcium (9–16mg/100g) and phosphorus (82–165mg/100g) content also showed significant decrease by cooking. The total dietary fibre in all samples was between 2.24 to 3.03g/100g, a large proportion of which was insoluble (1.97–3.00g/100g). The in vitro protein digestibility of the pressure cooked samples (82.1–91.0%) was slightly higher than the microwave cooked samples (80.0–90.8%). The starch digestibility between cooked samples were similar (92.6–93.8%) but significantly higher than raw samples. It can be concluded that cooking as such influenced the nutritional quality of rice but between the two cooking methods there were no significant differences.

Abstract
The incidence of acute kidney injury (AKI) in pregnancy is declining in developing countries but still remains a major cause of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. The aim of the study was to analyze the changing trends in pregnancy related AKI (PR-AKI) over a period of thirty-three years. Clinical characteristics of PR-AKI with respect to incidence, etiology and fetal and maternal outcomes were compared in three study periods, namely 1982-1991,1992-2002 and 2003-2014. The incidence of PR-AKI decreased to 10.4% in 1992-2002, from 15.2% in 1982-1991, with declining trend continuing in 2003-2014 (4.68%).Postabortal AKI decreased to 1.49% in 2003-2014 from 9.4% in 1982-1991of total AKI cases. The AKI related to puerperal sepsis increased to 1.56% of all AKI cases in 2003-2014 from 1.4% in 1982-1991. Preeclampsia/eclampsia associated AKI decreased from 3.5% of total AKI cases in 1982-1991 to 0.54% in 2003-2014. Pregnancy associated – thrombotic microangiopathy and acute fatty liver of pregnancy were uncommon causes of AKI. Hyperemesis gravidarum associated AKI was not observed in our study. Incidence of renal cortical necrosis (RCN) decreased to 1.4% in 2003-2014 from 17% in 1982-1991.Maternal mortality reduced to 5.79% from initial high value 20% in 1982-1991. The progression of PR-AKI to ESRD decreased to1.4% in 2003-2014 from 6.15% in 1982-1991. The incidence of PR-AKI has decreased over last three decades, mainly due to decrease in incidence of postabortal AKI. Puerperal sepsis and obstetric hemorrhage were the major causes of PR-AKI followed by preeclampsia in late pregnancy. Maternal mortality and incidence and severity of RCN have significantly decreased in PR-AKI. The progression to CKD and ESRD has decreased in women with AKI in pregnancy in recent decade. However, the perinatal mortality did not change throughout study period.

Abstract
UNLABELLED Dickkopf-related protein 1 (DKK1) is a major inhibitor of Wnt signalling pathway but also plays an important role in bone formation. Its circulating levels appear to correlate significantly with plasma levels of inflammatory factors, fractalkine and IL-6. This study, using a large sample of UK twins, showed that the variation of each of these factors and correlation between them was explained by the genetic factors, and indicated possible association with DKK1 gene variants. INTRODUCTION DKK1 is involved in the development of several inflammatory conditions related to bone and joint degradation. Our objectives were to explore the genetic contribution (heritability) to circulating DKK1 variation and its correlation with other inflammatory cytokines, interleukin 6 (IL-6) and fractalkine, and to test whether the DKK1 heritability could be attributable to single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) mapped to DKK1, IL-6 and FRCT genes. METHODS The study included a large community-based sample of 4939 women drawn from the general UK population. Plasma samples were analysed for circulating levels of DKK1, IL-6 and fractalkine (FRCT); 65 SNPs of DKK1, IL-6 and FRCT candidate genes, with MAF >0.1, were examined. We applied variance component analysis to evaluate contribution of putative genetic (including above SNPs) and environmental factors to variation of DKK1, and its correlation with IL-6 and FRCT. RESULTS Putative genetic factors explained 42.2 ± 2 % of the total variation of circulating DKK1 levels, and were also significant for fractalkine and IL-6 variations. Most importantly, we report significant phenotypic (0.208 ± 0.006-0.459 ± 0.007) and genetic (0.338 ± 0.069-0.617 ± 0.033) correlations between these molecules. We found evidence suggestive of association between the DKK1 and its structural genes variants. CONCLUSIONS Circulating DKK1 levels correlated significantly with levels of IL-6 and FRCT, known risk factors for several inflammatory processes suggesting a potential role of DKK1 in inflammation and tissue injury. Our results suggest the contribution of genetic factors in inter-individual variation of DKK1 levels in human population. However, further studies are required to determine genetic polymorphisms affecting DKK1 variation and its correlation with IL-6 and FRCT.
