Abstract
In this paper, series of ionic polymers were synthesized by crosslinking alkyl quaternary ammonium salts with 1,4-bis(chloromethyl)benzene. Among them, hyper-crosslinked polymer fabricated with dodecyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride (HCP-DD) as monomer delivered superior adsorption performance for endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). The adsorption mechanism mainly includes π-π stacking, hydrophobic and electrostatic interaction. With HCP-DD as solid phase extraction sorbent, a high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection method was developed for the detection of four phenolic EDCs in water and fish samples. The detection limits of the method were 0.005-0.02 ng mL-1 for water samples and 3-30 ng g-1 for fish samples. The recoveries of EDCs in water samples and fish samples were 80-119% and 81.3-117% (relative standard deviations <4.4%), respectively. The study not only provides a route for preparation ionic porous polymers, but also highlights the applications of ionic polymers as efficient adsorbent to enrich organic pollutants.

Abstract
Reliable monitoring of nitroimidazoles (NDZs) is of great significance to public health. Herein, an azo-linked porous organic polymer (Res-POPs) was prepared by green synthesis method using natural resveratrol as monomer for the first time. Using Res-POPs as sorbent, a facile method coupling solid-phase extraction with high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection was developed for effective detecting NDZs. The method achieved good linearities (0.06 ∼ 100 ng mL-1 for water, 1.8 ∼ 200 ng g-1 for shrimp, and 1.5 ∼ 200 ng g-1 for Basa fish) with determination coefficients above 0.995, low detection limits (0.02 ∼ 0.05 ng mL-1, 0.60 ∼ 1.00 ng g-1 and 0.50 ∼ 0.90 ng g-1 for water, shrimp and Basa fish), high method recovery (85 %∼114 %) and relative standard deviations below 8.2 %. The results demonstrated the superiority and the promising potential of the established method for detection of NDZs compared with the reported method.

Abstract
In this paper, a novel magnetic hyper-crosslinked polymer with amino and triazine bifunctional groups (M-NH2-THCP) was developed. M-NH2-THCP has strong nitroimidazoles (NDZs) enrichment effect, and therefore it was used as an adsorbent to extract five NDZs from lake water, catfish and shrimp meat prior to HPLC. Polar interaction, π-π stacking interaction, hydrogen bond and Lewis acid-base interaction were attested to be the major adsorption mechanism. The method has a good linearity in the range of 0.1-100 ng mL-1 for lake water, 10-400 ng g-1 for catfish and shrimp muscle with R2 > 0.9964. The limits of detection of NDZs were 0.03-0.04 ng mL-1 for lake water, 1.0-2.0 ng g-1 for catfish and 2.0-2.5 ng g-1 for shrimp, which is superior to most reported method. The method recoveries were 87.6-119 %, and relative standard deviations were less than 8.7 %. M-NH2-THCP holds great application potential in pollutants enrichment, separation and removal.

Abstract
Developing effective methods for highly sensitive detection of phenolic endocrine disruptors (EDCs) is especially urgent. Herein, a magnetic hydroxyl-functional porous organic polymer (M-FH-POP) was facilely synthesized by green diazo-couple reaction using basic fuchsin and hesperetin as monomer for the first time. M-FH-POP delivered superior adsorption performance for phenolic EDCs. The adsorption mechanism was hydrogen bonds, hydrophobic interaction and π-π interplay. With M-FH-POP as adsorbent, a magnetic solid phase extraction method was established for extracting trace phenolic EDCs (bisphenol A, 4-tert-butylphenol, bisphenol F and bisphenol B) in water and fish before ultra-high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry analysis. The method displayed low detection limit (S/N = 3) of 0.05-0.15 ng mL-1 for water and 0.08-0.3 ng g-1 for fish. The spiked recoveries were 88.3 %-109.8 % with the relative standard deviations of 2.4 %-6.4 %. The method offers a new strategy for sensitive determination of phenolic EDCs in water and fish samples.

Abstract
In this paper, a new Janus-structured nano drug delivery carrier Fe3O4@TiO2&mSiO2was designed and synthesized, which consisted of a spherical head and a closely connected rod. The head was a nanocomposite of core/shell structure with magnetic spinel ferric tetraoxide core and anatase titanium dioxide shell (Fe3O4@TiO2), and the rod was ordered mesoporous silica (mSiO2). The nanocarriers showed excellent magnetic targeting capability (saturation magnetization, 25.18 emu g-1). The core/shell heads endowed the carriers with fine microwave responsiveness. The pore volume of mesoporous nanocarriers was 0.101 cm3g-1, and the specific surface area was 489.0 m2g-1. Anticancer drug doxorubicin could be loaded in the mesoporous of the carriers to form Fe3O4@TiO2&mSiO2-DOX. The drug loading capacity was 10.4%. Fe3O4@TiO2&mSiO2-DOX exhibited acid-sensitive and microwave-sensitive release properties along with good bio-compatibility. Fe3O4@TiO2&mSiO2Janus nanoparticles are expected to be ideal drug carriers.

Abstract
Imidazoline-linked cationic covalent triazine framework (IM-iCTF) was facilely prepared through the Debus-Radziszewski reaction, involving 4,4',4''-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyl)trianiline, formaldehyde and methylglyoxal. The IM-iCTF was applied as a sorbent for cartridge solid-phase extraction (SPE). It provided good adsorption performance for estrogen and estrogen mimics including bisphenol F, bisphenol A, 7β-estradiol, bisphenol B and estrone. The adsorption isotherm, adsorption kinetic model, thermodynamic calculations and adsorption mechanism were investigated to reveal the adsorption behavior. The IM-iCTF was employed for the extraction of the estrogens and estrogen mimics from water, fish and shrimp (fish and shrimp samples were extracted with acetonitrile before the SPE). The analytes were then determined by high-performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection. The limits of detection were 0.008-0.05 ng mL-1 for water, 0.015-0.11 μg g-1 for fish, and 0.012-0.10 μg g-1 for shrimp samples. This research not only offers a new approach to construct cationic covalent triazine framework, but also provides a reliable strategy for the adsorption/enrichment trace level of organic pollutants.

Abstract
Analysis of organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) residues in milk faces a significant challenge. Herein, a sea urchin structured covalent organic framework bearing boric acid groups named COF-B(OH)2 was synthesized and applied as a coating material for solid-phase microextraction (SPME) of the OCPs in cattle's milk. Its performance was superior to that of three commonly used commercial SPME fibers, which could be due to the coexistence of hydrogen bonding, halogen bonding, π-stacking and electrostatic interactions. Besides, the fiber coating displayed good stability and reusability. After optimization, a COF-B(OH)2 based SPME coupled with gas chromatography-electron capture detection was established for the sensitive detection of the OCPs from milk samples. The limits of detection (S/N = 3) were between 0.04 and 1.00 μg kg-1. Satisfactory accuracy was achieved with the method recoveries in the range of 87.5 % to 112.5 %. These results manifest the feasibility of the COF-B(OH)2 coated fiber for the enrichment of the trace OCPs from milk samples.

Abstract
AIMS Ethyl hexanoate, one of the key flavor compounds in strong-flavor Baijiu. To improve the content of ethyl hexanoate in strong-flavor Baijiu, a functional strain with high yield of ethyl hexanoate was screened and its ester-producing performance was studied. METHODS AND RESULTS Upon identification, the strain was classified as Candida sp. and designated as ZY002. Under optimal fermentation conditions, the content of ethyl hexanoate synthesized by ZY002 can be as high as 170.56 mg L-1. A fermentation test was carried out using the ZY002 strain bioaugmented Daqu to verify the role of the strain applied to Baijiu brewing. It was found that strain ZY002 could not only improve the moisture and alcohol contents of fermented grains but also diminish the presence of reducing sugar and crude starch. Furthermore, it notably amplified the abundance of flavor compounds. CONCLUSION In this study, Candida sp. ZY002 with a high yield of ethyl hexanoate provided high-quality strain resources for the actual industrial production of Baijiu.

Abstract
Porous organic polymers (POPs) are prominent sorbents for effective extraction of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). However, green and sustainable construction of functional POPs is still challenging. Herein, we developed a magnetic azo POP (Mazo-POP) for the first time using hydroxy-rich natural kaempferol and low-toxic basic fuchsin as monomers through a diazo coupling reaction. The Mazo-POP exhibited excellent extraction capabilities for EDCs with a phenolic structure. Consequently, it was used as a magnetic sorbent for extracting phenolic EDCs from water and fish samples, followed by ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometric detection. The Mazo-POP based analytical method afforded a good linearity of 0.06-100 ng mL-1 and 0.3-500 ng g-1 for water and fish samples respectively, with detection limits (S/N = 3) of 0.02-0.5 ng mL-1 and 0.1-1.5 ng g-1, respectively. The method recovery was from 85.2% to 109% and relative standard deviation was less 5.3%. Moreover, the effective adsorption was mainly contributed by hydrogen bond, π-π interaction, pore filling and hydrophobic interaction. This work not only provides an efficient method for sensitive determination of phenolic EDCs, but also highlights the significance of green preparation of environmentally friendly sorbents for enriching/adsorbing pollutants.

Abstract
Objective: To investigate serum vitamin A and vitamin D status in children aged 2-<7 years in 20 cities in China. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted. A total of 2 924 healthy children aged 2-<7 years were recruited from September 2018 to September 2019 from 20 cities in China, categorized by age groups of 2-<3 years, 3-<5 years, and 5-<7 years. The demographic and economic characteristics and health-related information of the enrolled children were investigated. Body weight and height were measured by professional staff members. The serum vitamin A and vitamin D levels were detected by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Chi-square test and Logistic regression were applied to analyze the association between vitamin A and vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency as well as their underlying impact factors. Results: The age of the 2 924 enrolled children was 4.33 (3.42, 5.17) years. There were 1 726 males (59.03%) and 1 198 females (40.97%). The prevalences of vitamin A and vitamin D deficiency in enrolled children were 2.19% (64/2 924) and 3.52% (103/2 924), respectively, and the insufficiency rates were 29.27% (856/2 924) and 22.20% (649/2 924), respectively. Children with both vitamin A and vitamin D deficiencies or insufficiencies were found in 10.50% (307/2 924) of cases. Both vitamin A (χ2=7.91 and 8.06, both P=0.005) and vitamin D (χ2=71.35 and 115.10, both P<0.001) insufficiency rates were higher in children aged 3-<5 and 5-<7 years than those in children aged 2-<3 years. Vitamin A and vitamin D supplementation in the last 3 months was a protective factor for vitamin A and D deficiency and insufficiency, respectively (OR=0.68 and 0.22, 95%CI 0.49-0.95 and 0.13-0.40, both P<0.05). The rates of vitamin A and D insufficiency was higher in children with annual household incomes <60 000 RMB than in those with annual household incomes ≥60 000 RMB (χ2=34.11 and 10.43, both P<0.01). Northwest and Southwest had the highest rates of vitamin A and vitamin D insufficiency in children aged 2-<7 yeas, respectively (χ2=93.22 and 202.54, both P<0.001). Conclusions: Among 20 cities in China, children aged 2-<7 years experience high rates of vitamin A and vitamin D insufficiency, which are affected by age, family economic level, vitamin A and vitamin D supplementation, and regional economic level. The current results suggest that high level of attention should be paid to vitamin A and vitamin D nutritional status of preschool children.

Abstract
Water pollution caused by bisphenol A (BPA) has become the world problem. Designing and preparing cost-effective and biodegradable sorbents for the effectively adsorptive removal of bisphenol A from wastewater is of immense significance. Herein, a natural polysaccharide (chitin) was used as raw materials to be grafted with styrene (GS), then crosslinked with α,α'-dichloro-p-xylene (DCX) to form the hyper-crosslinked polymer (labeled as CGS@DCX). The CGS@DCX showed high adsorptive affinity for bisphenol A, with adsorption capacity of 441 mg g-1. Various studies gave an insight into the adsorption process, demonstrating that the highly efficient adsorption of BPA by the CGS@DCX is mainly based on the π-π stacking, hydrogen-bond interaction, polar interaction and pore adsorption. Moreover, the CGS@DCX had high chemical stability, good reusability (9 cycles) and fast adsorption kinetics (10 min) for adsorption of BPA. This work provides a promising strategy for the design and synthesis of novel yet eco-friendly sorbents to solve environmental problems.

Abstract
Anisotropic colloidal particles with asymmetric morphology possess functionally rich heterogeneous structures, thus offering potential for intricate superstructures or nanodevices. However, it is a challenge to achieve controlled asymmetric surface partitioned growth. In this work, an innovative strategy is developed based on the selective adsorption and growth of emulsion droplets onto different regions of object which is controlled by wettability. It is found that the emulsion droplets can selectively adsorb on the hydrophilic surface but not the hydrophobic one, and further form asymmetric tentacle by the interfacial sol-gel process along its trajectory. Janus particles with an anisotropic shape and multitentacle structure are achieved via integration of emulsion droplet (soft) and seed (hard) templates. The size and number of tentacles exhibit tunability mediated by soft and hard templates, respectively. This general strategy can be expanded to a variety of planar substrates or curved particles, further confirming the correlation between tentacle growth and Brownian motion. Most interestingly, it can be employed to selectively modify one region of surface partitioned particles to achieve an ABC three-component Janus structure.

Abstract
In this study, a new fluorine-functionalized covalent organic framework (F-COF) was designed and fabricated by the direct polycondensation of tris(4-aminophenyl)amine and 2,3,5,6-tetra-fluoroterephthaldehyde for the first time. F-COF exhibited a remarkably enhanced adsorption capability compared with that of the fluorine-free COF. The favorable adsorption of aflatoxins was attributed to multiple interactions including pseudo hydrogen bond, F-O, π-π, F-π interactions and hydrophobic interactions between F-COF and aflatoxins. By coupling F-COF based solid phase extraction with high-performance liquid chromatography equipped with fluorescence detector, a rapid and sensitive method for determining aflatoxins (aflatoxin B1, B2, G1 and G2) in nuts (peanuts and pistachios) was established. Under optimal conditions (35 mg F-COF, 100 mL sample solution, 3 mL min-1 as sample loading rate, pH<7, 0.2 mL acetonitrile as desorption solvent), the limits of detection for aflatoxins were 0.02-0.30 ng g-1. The linear range was 0.08-16.0 ng g-1 and the recoveries of the F-COF-based method were 83.5-114 % with relative standard deviations less than 8.0 %.

Abstract
A facile route for exponential magnification of transconductance (gm) in an organic photoelectrochemical transistor (OPECT) is still lacking. Herein, photoresponsive hydrogen-bonded organic frameworks (PR-HOFs) have been shown to be efficient for gm magnification in a typical poly(ethylene dioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) OPECT. Specifically, 450 nm light stimulation of 1,3,6,8-tetrakis (p-benzoic acid) pyrene (H4TBAPy)-based HOF could efficiently modulate the device characteristics, leading to the considerable gm magnification over 78 times from 0.114 to 8.96 mS at zero Vg. In linkage with a DNA nanomachine-assisted steric hindrance amplification strategy, the system was then interfaced with the microRNA-triggered structural DNA evolution toward the sensitive detection of a model target microRNA down to 0.1 fM. This study first reveals HOFs-enabled efficient gm magnification in organic electronics and its application for sensitive biomolecular detection.

Abstract
The determination of trace plant growth regulators (PGRs) residues in water and food samples make it crucial to develop novel sample pretreatment methods for the enrichment of PGRs. Herein, a novel magnetic hyper cross-linked polymer (M-CTT-9OH-HCP) was constructed and served as a magnetic adsorbent for the efficient extraction of some PGRs from water, watermelon, tomatoes, and milk samples for the first time. Combined with high performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD), the established method presented a good linearity (0.03-60.0 ng g-1 (ng mL-1), (r) ≥ 0.9973), satisfactory accuracy with method recoveries (83.0%-119%) and acceptable precision with the intra-day and inter-day variations (expressed as the relative standard deviations (RSDs) ≤ 9.8%). The limits of detection (LODs) and limits of quantitation (LOQs) were in the range of 0.01-1.50 and 0.03-5.00 ng g-1/ ng mL-1. The results show that the established method is sensitive and efficient for the determination of PGRs in real samples.

Abstract
Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) can interfere with the normal function of endocrine system, posing serious risk to human health. The monitoring of EDCs in foods is of great importance to ensure food security. Herein, a cyano and ionic dual-functionalized hypercrosslinked porous polymer (CN-iHCP) was designed and prepared for the first time through hyper-crosslink of 1-(4-cyanophenyl)imidazole and 1,4-bis(chloromethyl)benzene. The adsorption mechanism mainly involves electrostatic interaction, hydrogen bonding and π-π stacking interaction. A sensitive analytical method for simultaneous detection of the four phenolic EDCs was established by coupled CN-iHCP based solid-phase extraction with high performance liquid chromatography. Under optimal conditions, the target EDCs exhibited good linearity with coefficient r > 0.993 and high enrichment factors of 164-243. The detection limits (S/N = 3) of EDCs were 0.20-0.50 ng mL-1 for milk sample. The extraction recoveries for the spiked milk samples were in the range of 85.5%- 116.0%. This work not only highlights the CN-iHCP as a promising adsorbent to efficiently enrich EDCs and other pollutants, but also provides a new strategy for the functionalization of HCP for wide applications.

Abstract
Herein, a novel carboxyl-functionalized porous organic polymer (COOH-POP) was prepared as sorbent. Due to multiple hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions between COOH-POP and phenols, COOH-POP shows good enrichment ability and very fast adsorption rate for phenols. Then, an analytical method was developed for determination of five phenols (2-chlorophenol, bisphenol A, 2,6-dichlorophenol, 2,4-dichlorophenol and p-tert-butylphenol) in bottled water, lemon juice, peach juice and honey samples using COOH-POP as solid phase extraction sorbent in combination with high performance liquid chromatography. Under optimal conditions, the COOH-POP based method gave the detection limits (S/N = 3) of 0.02-0.10 ng mL-1 for bottled water, 0.03-0.12 ng mL-1 for lemon juice, 0.03-0.25 ng mL-1 for peach juice and 0.7-1.5 ng g-1 for honey samples. The recoveries for spiked samples ranged from 84.0 % to 119.0 % with relative standard deviation less than 7.6 %. This study provides a new yet effective method for enrichment of phenols by designing carboxyl-functionalized porous organic polymer as sorbent.

[PMID: 38008138 DOI: 10.1016/j.ijbiomac.2023.128423] [Citation(s) in RCA: 0] [Impact Index Per Article: 0] [Reference Citation Analysis] [Abstract] [Key Words] [MESH Headings] [Track Full Text] [Journal Information] [Subscribe] [Scholar Register] [Received: 09/28/2023] [Revised: 11/15/2023] [Accepted: 11/23/2023] [Indexed: 11/28/2023]
Abstract
A chitin-based magnetic hyper-cross-linked polymer (labeled as Ch-MHCP) has been successfully synthesized and utilized for highly-effective solid-phase extraction of neonicotinoid insecticides (NEOs). The extraction capability of Ch-MHCP for four common NEOs is higher than that of four commercial sorbents including octadecyl-silane C18, oasis hydrophilic/lipophilic balanced sorbent, oasis mixed anion sorbent and poly-phenylacetic mixed anion sorbent. The large number of hydroxyl and amide groups as well as benzene rings in Ch-MHCP allow the H-bond and π-π* interaction to be the principal adsorption mechanism of Ch-MHCP for NEOs. Besides, polar interaction was also involved in the adsorption process. In combination of Ch-MHCP based extraction technique with high-performance liquid chromatography, a novel analytical method for sensitive detection of NEOs in lemon juice and tomatoes has been established. At optimal conditions, wide linear ranges were obtained to be 0.20-100 ng mL-1 for lemon juice and 0.80-1000 ng g-1 for tomatoes. The detection limits were 0.06-0.12 ng mL-1 for lemon juice and 0.24-0.60 ng g-1 for tomatoes. This work not only provides a powerful tool for simultaneously detecting four NEOs in lemon juice and tomatoes, but also offers a new insight into the preparation of bio-based magnetic sorbents for adsorption/removal of pollutants.

Abstract
Herein, two novel amino-functionalized triazine-based hyper-crosslinked porous polymer (NH2-HCPs) (named as DPT-BB, DPT-DX) were designed and synthesized by direct crosslinking of 2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine (DPT) with 4,4'-bis(chloromethyl)-1,1'-biphenyl (BB) or α, α'-dichloro-p-xylene (DX). Thanks to the amino functional group and hyper-crosslinked porous structure, NH2-HCPs displayed remarkable adsorption ability for phenolic EDCs. The adsorption mechanism mainly involved hydrogen bond, π-π interaction, hydrophobic interaction and pore filling. Thus DPT-BB was applied as solid phase extraction sorbent to extract phenolic EDCs from water and orange juice samples prior to quantitative analysis by high performance liquid chromatography. Under the optimal conditions, detection limit as low as 0.07-0.2 ng mL-1 for water and 0.1-0.27 ng mL-1 for orange juice was achieved. Good recoveries spanned the range of 83.5%-114% were obtained for spiked samples, with relative standard deviations below 8.9%. The results demonstrated that the developed method displayed excellent practicability for sensitive analysis of EDCs.

[Imaging study on determining the rationality of atlantoaxial fixation angle based on the ratio of line segments between anatomical markers on lateral X-ray films]. ZHONGHUA YI XUE ZA ZHI 2023; 103:3842-3847. Abstract
Objective: To propose a method to determine the unreasonableness of the fixed angle in posterior atlantoaxial fusion surgery based on the ratio of line segments between anatomical landmarks of the atlantoaxial joint. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted. According to the inclusion criteria, a screening was performed on the database of asymptomatic volunteers who had full-spine lateral X-ray films taken at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University from May 2016 to May 2021. A total of 207 volunteers were included, comprising 98 males with an age of (40.68±13.87) years and 109 females with an age of (42.64±14.45) years. On the lateral X-ray film, a line (L) parallel to the posterior margin of the odontoid process was drawn at the posterior edge of the lower articular surface of the axis (a), intersecting the atlas at points b, c, and d. The line segments ab, bd, bc, and the C1-C2 angle were measured, and the ratios of bd/ab and bc/ab were calculated. The ability of bd/ab and bc/ab to predict the unreasonable fixed angle of the atlantoaxial joint (≥22°) was analyzed by receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis in both male and female. The areas under the ROC curves (AUC) were calculated, and the performance of the two prediction methods was compared using the Delong's test. The cutoff value for distinguishing the unreasonableness of the C1-C2 angle and the sensitivity and specificity were calculated. Results: The ROC curve analysis in the male group showed that the AUC of bc/ab for predicting the unreasonable C1-C2 angle was 0.791 (95%CI: 0.696-0.867, P<0.001), with a cutoff value of 0.449, sensitivity of 97.3%, and specificity of 70.0%. The performance was significantly better than that of bd/ab (cutoff value 1.100, AUC=0.532, 95%CI: 0.428-0.634, sensitivity 26.3%, specificity 83.3%, P<0.001). The ROC curve analysis in the female group showed that the AUC of bc/ab for predicting the unreasonable C1-C2 angle was 0.804 (95%CI: 0.745-0.852, P<0.001), with a cutoff value of 0.488, sensitivity of 90.5%, and specificity of 58.6%. The performance was significantly better than that of bd/ab (cutoff value 0.960, AUC=0.687, 95%CI: 0.624-0.748, sensitivity 90.5%, specificity 44.8%, P=0.041). Conclusions: The bc/ab value can be used as an effective indicator to predict the unreasonable C1-C2 angle in posterior atlantoaxial fusion surgery with high diagnostic accuracy. The cutoff value for males is<0.449, and for females is<0.488.

Abstract
Two magnetic phosphazene-based hyper crosslinked polymers (M-HCP-OP-TMC and M-HCP-OP-TCL) were newly synthesized by the reaction of Friedel-Crafts acylation, and the M-HCP-OP-TMC showed an excellent extraction capability and rapid adsorption kinetics for chlorophenols as an adsorbent. Then, an efficient analytical method was built for the preconcentration and quantification of chlorophenols from water and peach juice samples by combining M-HCP-OP-TMC based magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) with HPLC-UV detection. The linear response range for the chlorophenols by the method was 0.21-100.0 ng mL-1 for water sample, and 0.36-100.0 ng mL-1 for peach juice sample. The detection limits (S/N = 3) of the proposed method for the analytes were 0.07- 0.25 ng mL-1 and 0.12-0.45 ng mL-1 for water and peach juice samples, respectively. The method recoveries for the spiked samples were in the range of 93.1%-117.1%, and the relative standard deviations were less than 10%. The adsorption of the chlorophenols with the M-HCP-OP-TMC was mainly contributed by π-π stacking and hydrophobic interactions. The results indicate that the method was sensitive and accurate enough for the determination of the chlorophenols from real samples.

Abstract
Aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) with tremendous toxic effects has caused a serious threat to food security. Accurate quantification of AFB1 in food can effectively prevent the risk of human intake of AFB1. Herein, a colorimetric and fluorescent dual-mode aptasensor for accurate and sensitive detection of AFB1 has been developed based on MnO2 nanoflowers (MnO2NFs) for the first time. MnO2NFs could catalyze the oxidation of 3,3',5,5'-tetramethylbenzidine (TMB) into blue oxidation product (TMBox) by H2O2, which would be used for visible detection of AFB1. Simultaneously, MnO2NFs can be served as a signal amplifier and reduced by ascorbic acid to generate lots of Mn2+ which would quench the fluorescence of calcein for fluorescent detection of AFB1. Both colorimetric and fluorescent methods have been successfully applied for determination of AFB1 in milk samples with satisfactory results. The proposed dual-mode detection method with high detection sensitivity and accuracy showed great promise for monitoring AFB1 in food.

Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the role of spectral CT multiparametric imaging in the evaluation of cerebral microcirculatory perfusion. METHODS The imaging data of 145 patients with asymptomatic cerebral infarction confirmed by MR were retrospectively analyzed, and all cases underwent head CTA and cranial CT perfusion imaging (CTP) on double-layer detector spectral CT. Single energy level images (MonoE45 keV), iodine density maps, and effective atomic number maps were reconstructed based on spectral CTA data, and CT values, iodine density values, and effective atomic number values were measured in the infarcted area, healthy control area, centrum semiovale and posterior limb of the internal capsule, respectively; perfusion values, such as cerebral blood volume (CBV) values, cerebral blood flow (CBF) values, time to peak (TTP) values, and mean passage time, were measured in the above-mentioned areas on CTP images. (TTP) values, and mean time to passage (MTT) values. CT values, iodine density values, effective atomic number values, and perfused CBV, CBF, TTP, and MTT values were compared between the infarcted area and the healthy side, the center of the hemianopia, and the posterior limb of the internal capsule. The role of spectral CT parameters and perfusion parameters in the evaluation of asymptomatic cerebral infarction was analyzed. RESULTS CT values, iodine density values, and effective atomic number values were statistically different between the infarcted area and the healthy side; CT values, iodine density values, and effective atomic number values were not statistically different between the infarcted side and the healthy side of the hemispheric centrum and the posterior limb of the internal capsule; CBV and CBF were statistically different between the infarcted side and the healthy side, and MTT and TTP were not statistically different. There were statistically significant differences in TTP between the infarcted area and the healthy side of the hemiaxial center, and no statistically significant differences in CBV, CBF, and MTT. There were no statistical differences in CBV, CBF, TTP, and MTT in the inner capsule area. ROC curve analysis of spectral CT-related parameters and CT perfusion parameters for the diagnosis of asymptomatic cerebral infarction: area under the curve of MonoE 45Kv 0.71, area under the curve of iodine density values 0.76, area under the curve of effective atomic number values 0.74; area under the curve of CBV value 0.64, area under the curve of CBF value 0.61, area under the curve of MTT value 0.50, The area under the TTP curve was 0.52. The area under the ROC curve of the multivariate logistic regression model based on spectral parameters is 0.76, which is higher than that of the logistic regression model with perfusion parameters (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION Spectral CT can better demonstrate small intracranial ischemic lesions, and iodine density values have a better evaluation of microcirculation in asymptomatic cerebral infarcts.

Abstract
Amine-functionalized porous organic polymers (EDA-POP-PC and EDA-POP-BT) were prepared by post-modification of POP-PC and POP-BT with ethylenediamine (EDA) for the first time. The POP-PC and POP-BT were obtained through Friedel-Crafts acylation reaction of potassium tetraphenylborate with p-phthaloyl chloride (PC) and 1,3,5-benzenetricarbonyl trichloride (BT), respectively. The EDA-POPs exhibited superior adsorption capacity for phenolic endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs). After magnetically functionalization, the obtained M-EDA-POP-PC was employed as a magnetic adsorbent for enrichment of phenolic EDCs from real samples prior to high performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection. The current strategy showed low detection limits (S/N = 3) of 0.02-0.07, 0.04-0.08 and 0.04-0.10 ng mL-1 for river water, white peach juice and lychee juice, respectively. The method recoveries were 81.7%-115% with relative standard deviations below 8.6%. The proposed strategy showed good practicality for sensitive determination of phenolic EDCs in real samples.

Abstract
Endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) pose a serious threat to human health even at extremely low concentration. Three carboxyl functionalized porous polymers (PDA-DPBP, PTCDA-DPBP and ODPA-DPBP) were synthesized for the first time and employed as solid-phase extraction sorbent to enrich phenolic EDCs at trace level. Compared with PTCDA-DPBP, ODPA-DPBP and corresponding carboxyl-free counterpart (PC-DPBP), PDA-DPBP delivered superior enrichment efficiency for the phenolic EDCs, which can be ascribed to the strong hydrogen bonding, pore filling, hydrophobic interaction and π-π interaction between PDA-DPBP and phenolic EDCs. Coupled with high performance liquid chromatography, phenolic EDC residues in bottled water, juice and milk samples were enriched and determined. At the optimum conditions, the PDA-DPBP based method provided a good linear response in the range of 0.04-100ng mL-1 for bottled water, 0.07-100ng mL-1 for juice and 0.15-500ng mL-1 for milk samples. The detection limits (S/N=3) were 0.01-0.04, 0.02-0.06 and 0.05-0.10ng mL-1 for bottled water, juice and milk, respectively. The method recoveries were in the range from 81.6% to 116%, with RSDs ≤ 7.7%. This work provides an attractive and reliable alternative method for sensitive determination of phenolic EDCs.

Abstract
There is an urgent need to prepare advanced functional materials for extraction and enrichment of trace organic pollutants from different samples. In this work, two novel phosphate-functionalized porous organic polymers (DBP-POP and DPP-POP) were synthesized for the first time. Compared with phosphate-free counterpart, both phosphate-functionalized POPs showed excellent adsorption performance for the neonicotinoids due to the hydrogen bonding, π-π interaction and hydrophobic interaction. For ease of separating the sorbent from solution, magnetic DBP-POP (M-DBP-POP) was further prepared as sorbent to extract neonicotinoids from environmental water and lemon juice samples prior to their determination by high performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detection. Under optimal conditions, the detection limits (S/N = 3) of the method were 0.01-0.08 ng mL-1 for water and 0.03-0.10 ng mL-1 for lemon juice. The recoveries were in the range of 80.0% to 113.0% with relative standard deviation less than 10.6%. This work demonstrated the feasibility of phosphate-functionalized POPs for adsorption applications.

Abstract
The GH11 xylanase XynA from Streptomyces rameus L2001 has favorable hydrolytic properties. However, its poor thermal stability hinders its widespread application in industry. In this study, mutants Mut1 and Mut2 were constructed by rationally combining the mutations 11YHDGYF16, 23AP24/23SP24, and 32GP33. The residual enzyme activity of these combinational mutants was more than 85% when incubated at 80 and 90 °C for 12 h, and thus are the most thermotolerant xylanases known to date. The reduced flexibility of the N-terminus, increased overall rigidity, as well as the surface net charge of Mut1 and Mut2 may be partially responsible for the improved thermal stability. In addition, the specific activity and catalytic efficiency of Mut1 and Mut2 were improved compared with those of wild-type XynA. The broader catalytic cleft and enhanced flexibility of the "thumb" of Mut1 and Mut2 may be partially responsible for the improved specific activity and catalytic efficiency.

Abstract
Three novel N-rich hypercrosslinked porous polymers (NHCP1, NHCP2, and NHCP3) were facilely developed using Friedel-Crafts alkylation. NHCP1 with a remarkably large surface area (2066 m2 g-1) showed the best adsorption performance for chlorophenol pollutants. A sensitive and simple method was developed by using NHCP1 as a sorbent for solid-phase extraction to preconcentrate several chlorophenols in honey, water, and peach beverage samples followed by determination using a high-performance liquid chromatography-ultraviolet detector. The detection wavelength was 280 nm. Under the optimized conditions, the linear ranges were 1.67-1000 ng g-1 for honey, 0.170-100 ng mL-1 for water, and 0.330-100 ng mL-1 for peach beverage samples. The detection limits (S/N = 3) were 0.500-2.00 ng g-1, 0.0500-0.100 ng mL-1, and 0.100-0.200 ng mL-1, respectively. Recovery values were 89.3-111% with relative standard deviations <9.4%. The proposed extraction/preconcentration and quantitative analysis method provides an affordable and effective alternative for the preconcentration and determination of low levels of chlorophenols in real samples.

Abstract
In the present study, clinical manifestations of two Chinese Okihiro syndrome families were analyzed, and genetic detections were performed on the two probands by exome sequencing and verified by Sanger sequencing for family members to determine the biological pathogenesis. Prenatal diagnoses were provided for three high-risk fetuses. The affected members exhibited a wildly spectrum of phenotypes, including ultrasound abnormalities of skeletal system (radius deformity and abnormal posture), and cardiac system (persistent common arterial trunk and ventricular septal defect) in the prenatal period of family 1, the severe phenotypes (grossly shortened and deformed forearm, Duane's anomaly and hearing loss), and the mild ones (usually only thenar dysplasia, or short radius styloid process). Two SALL4 variants, c.844delC p.(Q282Kfs*8) and c.2210delG p.(G737Vfs*23), have been identified respectively in two probands, and c.2210delG of SALL4 gene was unreported previously. The two variants were verified in all affected individuals, not in normal family members. Genotyping results of three fetuses indicated that one fetus was normal, and the two fetuses with heterozygous variation were affected. The two variants of SALL4 gene, c.844delC p.(Q282Kfs*8) and c.2210delG p.(G737Vfs*23), were the molecular pathological cause of Okihiro syndrome in the present study and enriched the spectrum of SALL4 variants. Our study provides accurate prenatal genetic diagnosis for the two families to avoid the birth of affected children.

Abstract
Triazine herbicides have been widely detected in water resources and food, which poses a potential hazard to both ecosystem and human health. Due to their high polarity, conventional adsorbents have limitations for their extractions. Herein, for the effective magnetic extraction of triazine herbicides, a novel and effective magnetic adsorbent was prepared with a satisfactory extraction performance. In the experiments, five porous organic frameworks (POFs) with hydroxyl functional groups were synthesized by diazo-coupling reactions in aqueous solution with β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) as a green monomer. After evaluation of the five POFs, the DDM-CD-POF, which was synthesized with 4'4-diaminodiphenylmethane (DDM) and β-CD, showed the largest specific surface area and the best adsorption capacity for the five triazine herbicides. Then, it was magnetized by introducing Fe3O4@SiO2 into it to prepare a magnetic adsorbent (M-DDM-CD-POF) to facilitate separation and recycling. Finally, the M-DDM-CD-POF-based magnetic solid-phase extraction in combination with high performance liquid chromatographic detection method was established for the quantitative determination of the triazine herbicides in environmental water and watermelon juice samples. The current strategy showed low limits of detection of 0.03-0.11 ng mL-1 for environmental water and 0.07-0.22 ng mL-1 for watermelon juice sample. The method recoveries for spiked samples ranged from 84.0% to 113.0% with the relative standard deviations ≤8.8%. This work provides a new approach for the detection of the triazine herbicides with good application prospect.

Abstract
In this work, a series of 5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP)-based hyper crosslinked polymers were prepared by Friedel-Crafts reaction. Among them, the HCP-TPP-BCMBP, which was prepared by using TPP as the monomer and with 4,4'-Bis(chloromethyl)-1,1'-biphenyl (BCMBP) as the cross-linking agent, had the best adsorption capability for the enrichment of the nitroimidazoles of dimetridazole, ronidazole, secnidazole, metronidazole, and ornidazole. Then, a solid-phase extraction (SPE) method with the HCP-TPP-BCMBP as adsorbent coupled with HPLC-UV detection for the determination of nitroimidazole residues in honey, environmental water, and chicken breast samples was established. The influence of the main factors that affect the SPE, i.e., sample solution volume, sample loading rate, sample pH, and eluent and its volume, were studied. Under the optimal conditions, the limits of detection (S/N = 3) for the nitroimidazoles were measured to be in the range of 0.02-0.04 ng mL-1, 0.4-1.0 ng g-1 and 0.5-0.7 ng g-1 for environmental water, honey, and chicken breast samples, with the determination coefficients being in the range of 0.9933-0.9998. The analytes recoveries by the method in fortified samples fell in the range from 91.1% to 102.7% for environmental water, from 83.2% to 105.0% for honey, and from 85.9% to 103.0% for chicken breast samples, and the relative standard deviations for the determination were less than 10%. It shows that the HCP-TPP-BCMBP has a strong adsorption capability for some polar compounds.

Abstract
Novel multi-responsive drug delivery vehicles (CDs/PNVCL@HMSNs) were prepared by grafting amino-terminated poly (N-vinyl caprolactam) (PNVCL-NH2) and amino-rich carbon dots (CDs) on the surface of aldehyde-functionalized HMSNs (HMSNs-CHO) via Schiff base reaction. The CDs were prepared from L-arginine and their surfaces were rich in guanidine. Doxorubicin (DOX) was loaded into the nanoparticles to form drug loaded vehicles (CDs/PNVCL@HMSNs-DOX) and the drug loading efficiency was 58.38%. The drug release behaviors of CDs/PNVCL@HMSNs-DOX showed temperature and pH responsiveness due to the poly (N-vinyl caprolactam) (PNVCL) and Schiff base bond. The high concentration of NO released in high concentration H2O2 of tumor site could induce tumor cells apoptosis. The multi-responsive CDs/PNVCL@HMSNs are intriguing drug carriers, which combine drug delivery and NO release in one.

Abstract
As being widely used insecticides, neonicotinoid residues are toxic and harmful to human health and aquatic ecosystems. Thus, the sensitive monitoring of neonicotinoids in water and food samples is highly desirable to reduce their risks to humans. Herein, four novel hydroxyl-functionalized nanoporous organic frameworks (OH-NOP1, OH-NOP2, OH-NOP3 and OH-NOP4) with tunable hydrophilic-hydrophobic surface have been designed and fabricated for the first time by employing luteolin as monomer and 4,4'-bis(chloromethyl)-1,1'-biphenyl as crosslinker at the molar ratio of 3:1, 1:1, 1:3 and 1:6, respectively. When the molar ratio of luteolin to crosslinker was 1:3, OH-NOP3 was obtained and it presented the highest affinity with excellent adsorption performance towards the studied neonicotinoids. The adsorption mechanism was proposed to be the strong hydrogen bond, polar interaction, Lewis acid-base interaction and pore adsorption between OH-NOP3 and neonicotinoids. Then, utilizing OH-NOP3 as sorbent for solid phase extraction cartridges, an effective method for extraction and preconcentration of neonicotinoids followed by high performance liquid chromatography analysis has been developed for quantitative detection of neonicotinoids from water and edible fungi. The method provided good linearity over the range of 0.06-100.0 ng mL-1 for lake water, 1.5-100.0 ng g-1 for pleurotus eryngii and sea-shroom. Low detection limit (at the signal to noise ratio of 3) was achieved in the range of 0.02-0.08 ng mL-1 for water, 0.50-0.60 ng g-1 for pleurotus eryngii and 0.50-0.80 ng g-1 for sea-shroom, while the limit of quantification was 0.06-0.25 ng mL-1, 1.50-1.80 ng g-1 and 1.50-2.50 ng g-1, respectively. Satisfactory method recoveries (85.1-112%) were obtained, with relative standard deviations below 8.2%. This study offered a new strategy for designing efficient sorbents to adsorb or remove organic pollutants based on the structure and properties of substrates.

Abstract
Glycoside hydrolase family 11 (GH11) xylanases are the preferred candidates for the production of functional oligosaccharides. However, the low thermostability of natural GH11 xylanases limits their industrial applications. In this study, we investigated the following three strategies to modify the thermostability of xylanase XynA from Streptomyces rameus L2001 mutation to reduce surface entropy, intramolecular disulfide bond construction, and molecular cyclization. Changes in the thermostability of XynA mutants were analyzed using molecular simulations. All mutants showed improved thermostability and catalytic efficiency compared with XynA, except for molecular cyclization. The residual activities of high-entropy amino acid-replacement mutants Q24A and K104A increased from 18.70% to more than 41.23% when kept at 65 °C for 30 min. The catalytic efficiencies of Q24A and K143A increased to 129.99 and 92.26 mL/s/mg, respectively, compared with XynA (62.97 mL/s/mg) when using beechwood xylan as the substrate. The mutant enzyme with disulfide bonds formed between Val3 and Thr30 increased the t1/260 °C by 13.33-fold and the catalytic efficiency by 1.80-fold compared with the wild-type XynA. The high thermostabilities and hydrolytic activities of XynA mutants will be useful for enzymatic production of functional xylo-oligosaccharides.

Abstract
Food safety issue caused by aflatoxins has aroused widespread concern in society. Herein, a novel fluorine-functionalized triazine-based porous organic polymer (F-POP) was developed for the first time by the simple condensation polymerization of 2,2'-bis(trifluoromethyl)benzidine and cyanuric chloride. With in-built fluorine functional group (F) and imine group (-NH-), F-POP displayed significantly superior adsorption ability for aflatoxins, outperforming fluorine-free POP due to the multiple interaction mechanisms of hydrogen bond, F-O interaction, π-π interaction, F-π interaction, and hydrophobic interaction. Thus, magnetic F-POP was prepared by introducing Fe3O4 into F-POP and then utilized as a magnetic sorbent for the extraction of trace aflatoxins in peanut and rice samples prior to high-performance liquid chromatography-fluorescence detection. Under the optimal conditions, the proposed method presented high sensitivity with the limit of detections at 0.005-0.15 ng g-1. F-POP also exhibited outstanding adsorption capability for many other organic pollutants, revealing its great potential for analysis or adsorption applications.

Abstract
Organic micropollutants (OMPs) in water resources are a growing threat to aquatic ecosystems and human health. Efficient removal of polar OMPs is very challenging because of their high hydrophility. Synthesizing novel adsorbent capable of high-efficiently removing hydrophilic and hydrophobic micropollutants is highly desirable for water remediation. Here, using natural proanthocyanidin as building units, a novel hydroxyl-functional porous organic framework (denoted as PC-POF) with amphiphilic feature was synthesized through facile azo coupling reaction. Five sulfonamide antibiotics were selected as model OMPs for adsorption study. Adsorption experiments demonstrated a more rapid and efficient sulfonamides capture ability of the PC-POF than that of the most reported adsorbents due to strong hydrogen bonding, π stacking and electrostatic interactions. The PC-POF can be easily recovered and reused at least 5 times without obvious decline in adsorption performance. Moreover, experiments conducted at environmentally relevant concentrations (μg L-1) further confirmed a notable adsorption performance of the PC-POF even when the sulfonamides solution was rapidly passed through the PC-POF packed column. The PC-POF also showed good adsorption performance for other micropollutants like neonicotinoid insecticides, nitroimidazole antibiotics and triazine herbicides, indicating a promising prospect. This work provides a new strategy to construct amphiphilic adsorbent by using renewable resources for pollutants removal.

Abstract
Nanoparticles with an anisotropic morphology and composition are flourishing in various scientific fields. Their morphology has a great impact on their functions, but the precise regulation of their growth and final morphology is still challenging. Here, flask-like Janus particles (FJPs) with different compositions segmented on the inner and outer surfaces were fabricated via a sol-gel process using different silane precursors. The neck length of the flask-like particles can be controllably regulated by employing different silane precursors. The Pt catalyst was selectively loaded in their cavities, and as-formed FJPs@Pt are employed as colloidal motors. Due to the adjustable neck length, the Janus colloidal motors have explicit directionality and tunable speeds (max diffusion coefficient is 18.2 μm2 s-1).

Abstract
Design and fabrication of functionalized hypercrosslinked polymers (HCPs) for enhancing their performance by using green renewable monomers has attracted considerable research interest. In this study, hydroxyl‑functional HCP (labeled as OHHCP) was prepared via the knitting method by applying natural naringenin as a monomer for the first time. Due to the good hydrophilicity and strong H-bonding ability, the OHHCP showed high extraction capacity for nitroimidazoles. Thus, it was successfully applied as a potent adsorbent for solid phase extraction of five nitroimidazoles in water, honey and chicken meat, followed by high-performance liquid chromatography-diode array detector analysis. At the optimized conditions, the limit of detections (S/N = 3) of the proposed method for water, honey and chicken samples were 0.02 - 0.06 ng mL-1, 0.5 - 1.0 ng g-1 and 0.8 - 1.0 ng g-1, respectively. The recoveries were 80.0 - 110%, and the relative standard deviations were below 10.0%. The OHHCP also displayed good application prospects for other organic compounds with H-bonding capability. This study highlights the facile preparation of OH-functionalized HCPs from renewable and natural resources as potent adsorbents for polar compounds.

Abstract
A covalent organic framework named N-COF was successfully constructed by the aldehyde-amine condensation reaction between 2,4,6-tris (4-formyl phenoxy)-1,3,5-triazine and 1,3-bis(4-aminophenyl) urea for the first time. The prepared N-COF exhibited good stability and high affinity to organochlorine pesticides (OCPs). Thus, the N-COF was served as solid phase microextraction fiber coating for extraction of six OCPs from vegetables and fruits including romaine lettuce, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, apple, pear and peach, followed by quantitation with gas chromatography-electron capture detector (GC-ECD). Under the optimal conditions, good linearities for the OCPs existed in the ranges from 0.1 to 1.0 ng g-1 to 100.0 ng g-1 for the samples. The low limits of detection for analytes were obtained in the range of 0.03-0.3 ng g-1. The present work can offer new alternative for sensitive analysis of trace level of OCPs in vegetables and fruits.

Abstract
In this study, a novel nitrogen-rich magnetic hypercrosslinked polymer (Fe3O4@Ph-HCP) was fabricated via a facile one-pot reaction of 1,3,5-triphenylbenzene, 2,4-dichloropyrimidine and phenyl-functionalized magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles. The Fe3O4@Ph-HCP possessed high specific surface, abundant nanopores and good stability. Especially, Fe3O4@Ph-HCP exhibited excellent adsorption capability with fast adsorption rate to neonicotinoid insecticides. It was applied as a superior magnetic adsorbent for rapid enrichment and isolation of four neonicotinoid insecticides (thiamethoxam, imidacloprid, acetamiprid and thiacloprid) from honey, tomato, lettuce and Chinese cabbage samples prior to high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection. Under the optimized conditions, the good linearity was obtained in the range of 1-1000 ng g-1 for honey, tomato, lettuce and Chinese cabbage samples, and the detection limits (S/N = 3) were 0.30-0.67 ng g-1 for honey, 1-1.5 ng g-1 for tomato, lettuce and Chinese cabbage. The spiked recoveries were 80.1-111%, and relative standard deviations were less than 10.0%. These results demonstrate that the developed method can be used as a good alternative method for sensitive determination of neonicotinoid insecticides in complex samples.

Abstract
Natural rutin with abundant hydroxyl groups was used as a green monomer to synthesize hydroxyl-functional magnetic porous organic polymer (named Rut-MOP) through environmentally-benign diazo-coupling reaction for the first time. The Rut-MOP displayed high extraction capability for neonicotinoid insecticides (thiamethoxam, imidacloprid, acetamiprid and thiacloprid). Thus, a Rut-MOP based magnetic solid-phase extraction method combined with high performance liquid chromatography was established for sensitive determination of neonicotinoid insecticides in lemon juice and honey samples. Under optimized conditions, the linear response of neonicotinoids was 0.1-100.0 ng mL-1 for lemon juice and 8.0-1000.0 ng g-1 for honey. The limits of detection (S/N = 3) were 0.03-0.04 ng mL-1 and 2.5-3.0 ng g-1 for lemon juice and honey, respectively. The method recoveries were 82-118% with the relative standard deviations of 1.9-7.6%. The results demonstrate that the Rut-MOP based method can be served as a good alternative for the sensitive analysis of neonicotinoid insecticides in lemon juice and honey.
